#malenia is going down in my estimation tbh ..#like there are some stellar qualities to the boss fight but um ..#perhaps some of the difficulty is a hint artificial and a bit bullshit#if i may make a comparison. slave knight gael#three phase boss who takes no prisoners. hits like a truck. powerful motherfucker#moves that u were able to deal with with a bit of patience and learning#that fight had my heart racing the whole time. incredible#and there are many parts of malenia i enjoy. seriously#but im just not seeing the quality to deserve calling her incredible like gael or fuck even friede#it’s a good boss. but i think some of us need to take off the golden shades and realise it’s quite a flawed boss#like. its not a great boss if there’s at least one move that has me go ‘oh they’re using this again are they. fuck sake’#it’s a ds3 situation again where ive been let down by the hype#maybe I’ll get slaughtered for this but i don’t think malenia is that stellar of a boss and in fact the bosses in this game are..-#-somewhat mediocre compared to past titles#im disappointed by malenia. i have to say it. im really quite disappointed#plum plays elden ring
