still in complete and utter shock that I was offered the s/l tech head position for this show for the following reasons:
1. I am a first-year student, a freshman. Nobody knows me and nobody can vouch for me.
2. THEY DID NOT SAY THEY WERE RECRUITING A TECH HEAD!! NO! I APPLIED TO BE AN ASSISTANT!
3. The most involvement I’ve had in theatre tech has been 2 high school shows and some shitty plays written by my middle school drama teacher (never had time to do youth/community theatre)
I have to be the most unqualified person for this position they really could have picked anyone else 😭😭 (and yet I said that about my current photography job for my uni, and I was pretty much hired on the spot so-)
