IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT (please read)

hello my darlings!

i've missed you all so soooo much ｡°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°｡ as some of you may know, i've been on holiday for the past month with unstable wifi, hence the mini hiatus status on my pinned bulletin but i'll be back to posting now!

this year, i know i'm going to get super super busy and i really don't want to stop writing when times get tough and i have a break down (*cough* like i did in uni *cough*) so i plan on sticking to a posting schedule yayyyyyyyyyy! ٩(｡•ㅅ•｡)و

here it is :

SATURDAYS : requests / series chapter updates (can be for any series) SUNDAYS : timestamps / oneshots (can also be requests) (posted every 09:00 GMT time)

i'm going to limit myself to a maximum of 2 posts every saturday and sunday just so i don't burn myself out by being an over achiever and i wanted to work on my people pleasing tendencies this year too

i won't be saying what i'll be posting each time just because i've learned how that really deters me from even attempting to write due to self-inflicted pressure (if you know you know ⏤ *cough* perfectionist tendencies *cough*) nevertheless! you can bet that i'll try my darnedest to consistently post every weekend so there'll be something for you darlings to look forward to and read hehehe~

i've scheduled this announcement to post the exact day my plane home touches down and i've already scheduled some things to be posted on my first weekend back; i want to get back to writing as soon as possible even though i'll probably knock out for a few days from all the travelling

Stopped drawing as much in September bc my tablet got broken and im still not drawing as much as I’d like to, but i definitely see improvement :] ! Anatomy is becoming so much more fun, finding details to accentuate especially! Tysm for everyone sticking around while I floundered a bit this year with activity, but im so grateful!!🥫🩵💛❤️

Sirius and Remus absolutely bond over their conspiracy theory, bone-deep distrust of government and puritanical heirerachy in the magical world.

Remus has learned that the ministry of magic will stop at nothing to control, contain and govern his kind, and that he cannot trust them.

Sirius has seen what pure-blood beliefs and money can do and feels like he can't trust anything by face value - he has to always question and unpick everything before he can sit comfortably with it.

It's something that brings them together time and time again over the years, staying up late to dissect the latest theories and controversies of politics.

Unfortunately that's also why it's so easy to be suspicious of each other when doubt begins to creep in towards the end of the second war. They've always had distrust in common

I do find it kinda........... Interesting how ppl in certain RP circles will say they support female OCs, but then............. if the female OCs aren't of a particular type and kind (often women of colour, not conventionally attractive, and/or aren't accessible to their male muses for shipping, for example), then they don't get interactions, don't get asked about, don't get cared about.

my oneshot of alhaitham and kaveh dealing with nightmares and dreams is finally up!

Summary:

This was a new experience. Alhaitham was clearly affected, so much so that he clung onto Kaveh… In this instance, how could Kaveh help? “When you were younger, when you were with your grandmother, you must have had nightmares,” he started, slowly, “what happened then? Did you wake her?” “-ai.” A brief gust of warmth into his neck as a half-spoken word. “What did you say?” Alhaitham’s sleep-ruffled hair was just as unruly as the rest of him, and also just as soft. His hand had found its way to Alhaitham’s scalp, fingers entangled, as was a habit of his, and of particular liking to Alhaitham. “She made chai. She’d drink with me and wouldn’t let me read so I’d go back to sleep.” She would withhold Alhaitham’s precious resource so he would lose interest in being awake? It was rather ingenious. And just as amusing. He feared he laughed as he felt a huff of air by his ear – Alhaitham rising to meet his eyes. “Alright. Would you like some chai?” (Alhaitham has a nightmare and Kaveh helps him deal with the fallout.)

Caretaker Log J.16.7.2

Summary – The Warden’s condition continues to worsen since last entry. All decline remains self-inflicted. 

J.16.7.2-M – Sleep deprivation has resulted in mood swings and irritability. Though denied by the Warden, extreme distress, melancholy, and laughter have been noted. They lash out verbally and physically toward the prisoners (1) only to apologize at a later time. Observations (2) result in speculation that hallucinations are another symptom. 

J.16.7.2-B – The Warden's obsession with notetaking remains steady, though most pages of planning are merely rewritten versions of earlier notes. Their nightly ritual has grown more rigorous: four cups of coffee ingested in the time between dinner and the kitchen’s closing. A fifth cup is brought back to the courtroom, where the Warden will once again sleep on the ground. (Refer to J.5.5.2.B for initial detail.) 

J.16.7.2-P – Sleep deprivation and/or caffeine intake has caused shakiness and overall weakness. They show severe eyebags and have not changed into nightclothes in several days. Though they wash themself and fresh civilian clothes have been provided, they insist on returning to the uniform. Motor skills (3) and computation abilities have suffered.

J.16.7.2-S – The Warden spends their days around the prisoners, but avoids participating in all necessary conversations and activities regardless of invitation (4). They limit speech to the Caretaker only about their denied request (5), though they can be coaxed into conversation when fatigue overtakes them.

(1) After 005 offered the Warden something to help with their sleep, they threw the pills to the ground and shouldered past with force; 008 attempted to read the Warden’s notes, and they slapped her hand away.

(2) Flinched away from 003 even when standing still; shocked expression at 004's face despite nothing out of the ordinary; looked nauseous and refused to eat fresh fruit from the dining hall; interrupted a conversation with 010 to listen to silence.

(3) Handwriting has grown nearly intelligible; dropped one of their coffee cups and nearly panicked at the subsequent breakage and spill.

(4) Left the room when 002 began setting up a game; ignored 001's encouragement to join him for a meal; refused to answer personal questions from 006; snapped at 007 when trying to begin a lighthearted conversation.

(5) Request submitted on 30.8.2 for padlocks to fit supply closet and cell doors.
