Shackled au is basically a Shadowpeach Au where Macaque is raised by PIF, and meets Wukong while working for DBK. They fall in love, shenanigans ensure. They are also lesbians, because I say so.

I tend to call this AU the "Assistant AU" too. Since Brotherhood Era is mostly just two idiots in love. But the "Shackled" part of the AU becomes more prominent the farther along we go. so for less confusion i'm just calling it shackled.

So, apparently I don't have enough plot bunnies... and apparently there needs to be more 911/H50 crossovers...

In a universe just slightly to the left, Evan Buckley didn't ring out of the SEALs. Instead, he went on to serve, with distinction, and be informally adopted by his CO, one Steve McGarrett.

Buck didn't leave the SEALs when Steve did, but not that long after he was caught in an explosion that cost him his left leg just below the knee.

Honourably discharged, Buck wasn't sure what he was going to do, but Steve kidnapped strong-armed him into staying in Hawaii.

Danny might think Buck has the same crazy, insanity inducing tendacies as Steve, but his fatherly instincts are also screaming at him, so Buck ends up with two dads (and a younger sister).

A few years later, Buck's on the Santa Monica Pier with Grace (and Charlie?) when a tsunami hits.

Eddie Diaz is struggling. He's got a good job, and friends, but no-one who really understands him. Life as a civilian after being in combat is a constant challenge. And being a father is never easy, let alone a single one.

On the bright side, his ex-wife (now officially divorced), is back trying to be part of their son's life - and while Eddie is hesitant, Christopher is so happy to see her.

On the other hand, Eddie's not sure just where the two were planning to spend the day other than 'out', there's been a tsunami, and now he can't get ahold of Shannon. Surely they wouldn't have been at the Pier, right? Surely?

Or, Navy SEAL!Buck, and fire-fighter!Eddie meet because of a tsunami that threatens to destroy their families, but maybe in the end they'll find themselves in the family of their dreams.

Sirius turned as he heard someone call his name, a flash of a camera followed his movements. He locked eyes with a reporter, dressed in a cheap brown suit more suited for a classroom than a red carpet event. The reporter smiled, waringly, at him.

Sirius stepped towards him.

"Do you have time for a quick interview?"

He grinned, "I thought that's what this allotted time was for?"

The reporter looked down slightly, a small blush working its way onto his face, "Right."

Sirius turned directly to the camera behind Remus, a blonde man in a long black skirt and white jumper nodded in greeting, half his face hidden by the camera in his grip.

"I'm Sirius Black", he directed to the camera, "And this is...?"

Remus' eyes widened as Sirius stared at him, "Remus. Lupin. Sorry, I'm meant to ask you questions, aren't I?"

Sirius barked a laugh, as Remus hurried to turn towards the camera.

"We're here with Sirius Black, a fantastic actor who's just finished filming his new film, the great gatsby, where he will be playing the infamous, Jay Gatsby."

Remus turned towards Sirius, "So I've heard you were a huge fan of the book when you were younger. Who was your favourite character?"

Sirius grinned again, "Jordan Baker. Beautiful but extremely self-centered, I relate to her a lot. Who's yours?"

Remus' mouth opened slightly, a twinge of confusion evident on his face, "My favourite Gatsby character?"

Sirius nodded.

"Um. Well I'd have to say Gatsby. I find his story overwhelmingly tragic and convoluted. He's so intensely in love with Daisy, and do caught up in his past with her that he is unable to move past it and lives like he's in a dream. Which, inevitably, becomes his downfall."

"Well, I hope I live up to your expectations of him."

"You will", Remus smiled slightly, staring at Sirius as he smiled back.

The cameraman coughed, and Remus turned.

"Right. Sorry. So..."

Sirius winked at him, and Remus dropped the microphone to the floor. He scrambled to pick it up and stared at Sirius for a moment.

"Fuck. Sorry. I can't remember the questions."

Sirius' eyes locked onto Remus, "How about we have another interview some time. Maybe with less people around, less of a rush."

Remus nodded slightly, his ability to speak seeming to have left at the sight of Sirius.

He touched his arm, squeezing it, and winked again, "I'll be in touch, Remus."

As Sirius turned, Remus called out, "Goodbye!"

Sirius turned, another interview having stopped him, and smiled wide at Remus.

"Well, that went well", Peter taunted.

Remus glared at him, "Shut up."

"Looked like you were going to faint right there. Maybe Sirius Black would've caught you as you fell, holding you in his arms.

Remus bit his lip to stop a smile, "Fuck off."

Idk how this came to me but I feel like Host becoming a demon would make him a force to be reckoned with. 😈

However I feel like if he did ever go feral, the worst he'll do is a raid a bakery or a donut shop and when someone finds him they think he's soaked in blood when in actuality he ate a bunch of jelly filled donuts 😂

Everyone panicking because Host went feral and ran off. Night just asks where the nearest bakery is

He shows up and watches a Human run away screaming that "There's blood everywhere!" and Night is still casually strolling.

Night finds Host in the bakery covered in red jelly and thinks he looks adorable

Host hisses when Night first approaches before relaxing at realizing it's his mate and Night is just so weak when Host starts purring

Shifter au? Shifter au. Not a full fic but a little angst, hurt!Jason, batfamily fic. Bit of Joker venom, a dash of ptsd, and ta-da! Will work on this more (I hope)

Jason holds out for an impressively long time before he finally laughs. More of a giggle-choke than a laugh. It's an awful sound, high and grating - and painful sounding.

"Hold on," Tim urges.

He wheezes and gurgles around the next one. A soft thud of his knees hitting the ground. The giggling doesn't stop. It just keeps going until it sounds even less like Jason. Until it's the kind of laugh no human can make.

Tim swears and pushes himself faster, hating that he only has two legs right now. But also, two legs is faster than his four. "Cass and Duke are almost there, okay? Just hold on."

"Can't."

"Yes. You can."

Teeth snap, and there's a grunting growl that pitches into that high cackle. Jason lets out one last strangled sound - maybe Tim, maybe Bruce, maybe Dad - before he doesn't have the vocal cords for it, and he's just...

Laughing.

thank you!! i'm glad people liked the ring reveal, that was one of the plot points i was heavily debating and agonizing over 🥲 below is lucemond being a family in the not-so-distant future! 💕

they're big on baby-wearing 💕 baelon can sleep through pretty much anything because he took most of his naps as a baby strapped to luke or aemond's chest while they chased around two toddlers

for a while aemond's phone background is just a selfie naerys took while she was tapping at his phone as a baby, just big brown eyes and chubby little face like 👁👄👁️💕

baby naerys does NOT like going to bed when she's old enough to have an opinion >:( she gets fomo 💔 she has a long bedtime rountine so she can stall consisting of things like saying night-night to "gar-gar" and "rax", being read TWO stories WITH voices, and being sang to by luke (she gets angry if aemond tries)

aemond becomes a selectively light sleeper as a father 🥲 baby crying? one of the kids is up sick or with a nightmare? he's awake. baby crawling all over him and smacking his face? luke needs to pee and he has his waist in a death grip? he's out cold. luke doesn't understand how it's possible

they usually take the kids for rides on vhagar because all of them can fit (aemond is SO stoked to get a big family-sized saddle for when they're old enough 😭) but luke will also take one kid at a time for solo rides sometimes, which they love because arrax can actually go fast and do flips with them and stuff (they're heavily strapped to both luke and the saddle lmao)

luke has more experience dealing with hatchling and young dragons and knows how durable they are and aemond is just always a little startled when luke like, grabs one of their kids' dragons by the neck and kind of chucks them when they're not listening 😒🤜🏻🐉

their dragons are all kept either literally in the backyard or close enough (still working out some logistics) that luke and aemond are doing most of the things for their kids' hatchlings when they're young instead of handlers,,,, it's like having 10 dogs it's absolute chaos 🥲

their daughters do something scout-adjacent when they're young and you bet your ass aemond targaryen is walking around his office/lab with those cookie sheets making his co-workers buy stuff so they get their badges 😭 so does luke but at least he tries to be charming about it

Oughhhhgh Haruka getting more confident from hanging out with everyone and getting such positive feedback… I’d imagine the back to back innocent verdict and night of compliments would do wonders for his psyche ;-; And same for Muu and Amane! Minus the inno verdict, but the sudden influx of explicit compliments and acknowledgement of “hey, that was fucked up what they did to you, okay?” I wonder if there’s any awkwardness since After Pain directly follows Bring it On, but I like to imagine Fuuta and Muu have a deeper talk about things in private (and maybe Muu hesitantly mentions her involvement with Rei in preparation for INMF…)

Damn, who’s going to give the sex talk to the kids after Yuno’s vide-- Shidou. Sidou does. Without hesitation. They have to stop him because no one wants to hear it and everyone there already understands the basics.I love the idea of she, Mahiru, Muu, and designer Mikoto chatting about everyone’s fashion sense (I can imagine them poking fun at Fuuta’s tracksuit and Shidou’s patterned shirts.) And planning shopping trips that include everyone!!! Amane and Kotoko are given no choice in the matter, and a lot of the guys are genuinely interested in coming along.

Awww, I love the thought of Haruka getting into a “boy” interest with Fuuta and Mikoto -- he never knew what it was like to have brothers but he’s really enjoying it <3 (Also I’m cracking up over Fuuta trying desperately to convince them “it’s not cringe!!!”)

ASDFSDF Mappi just straight up sobbing and Mikoto handing her tissues 😂 But yes, she also gets choked up during Magic and Amane can’t figure out why. This begins the adults’ efforts to get her out of whatever situation she’s currently in (which Jackalope was already half-working on, but is definitely spurred on by several angry almost-murderers demanding he get it done now.)

I do like that idea of Red more comfortable with showing skin than Blue. (I know people are very emotional about the stalker theory, but I personally never took it in a harmful way. I always enjoyed how it was a symbol of stripping away everything else until you’re left with your true, whole self.) So I like to think that Blue feels too exposed, but Red/Green are the ones who pitched it in a symbolic sense! 

I’m losing my mind at Kotoko/Kazui/Red talking about sparring. Everyone else is like “hell yeah, let’s see it!” and Shidou just sitting there like “you all are going to be the death of me. You are NOT fighting.” Because I really want to think about it happening, I’ll say they manage to sneak away at least once and nearly break a prop in the process, to which even Jackalope shuts them down.

I think they all manage to get pretty serious again by the time T2 rolls around, but the hiatus is filled with a lot of sweet moments and healing conversations between everyone. Also, making so many plans for the future helps keep them sane when some of the project immersion gets a bit too real. Whenever they start realizing they might be condemned for their actions and worried that they’re too broken/they’re life is ruined, they come back to those plans and relax a bit.

Absolutely no pressure, but I would love to hear your T2 thoughts! 👀👀👀 I’m so incredibly grateful you’ve taken the time to share your ideas -- from the very beginning this au has been a big collaboration, so it’s super fun bouncing ideas around :D

as for their common ground aespa hands down. one of them loves spicy, the other hates it. they dance to black mamba once a month after dinner. chiara will cuddle up next to him and whisper “don’t you know im a savage?” before walking off and text him “naevis calling” before she calls his phone at 2:30 am (even if she’s right next to him).

as for the dcla!mermaid au this was tricky. but ultimately i have to say bia. moondust is on their way to the concert when they hear a siren singing, and the crash plays out as in canon. except for the fact that lucas and helena are pulled to the water by her song. lucas loses his life as was the sirens intention and helena ends up becoming a mermaid herself. victor loses consciousness in the crash and to him the siren song is a faint melody he remembers in day dreams and nightmares before it gets lost to the sound of an ambulance and witness screams. bia would continue to look for helena and helena would continue to run from her. until bia falls from the pier and helena has no choice but to risk herself for her sister. helena could reveal herself to thiago, who may potentially be a pirate but… that’s tbd.
