Among my GPF participants there are two to whom my relationship may not seem obvious.
Therefore, I will explain.
Ilya: a growing skater, currently mediocre. Components are overscored. Doesn't have his own style. He is perspective because shows work on 2nd score (that is currently overscored).
And I like to joke incomprehensibly about the fact that “I have feelings for his quaxel” (guess at once what the “jokes” are based on)
But I don’t think that this prevents me from evaluating it; after all, I don’t take this detail seriously (since I’m already burned out and almost hasn't strong feelings about anything of this world).
I see how people periodically pour a bucket of shit on Ilya as if he had raped a child, I think this is fucking overkill. He and his statements are demonized. Ppl are too often find fault with him just to find fault.
Yuma. From the point of view of an abstract training manual, the skater is excellent, he has increased his speed unrealistically, he skates smoothly and evenly, but he is absolutely not my cup of tea. I look at him and see a typical skater from the JNats with no stylistic differences from participants at All Japan from numbers 1-20.
I’ll repeat myself: like a math textbook. Right, true, but not on the list of favorite literature.
I respect attempts to skate something unusual.
Recently I have a trigger for his protocol in comparison with Shoma’s (will not forgive or forget the NHK) so I'll find fault with his jumping.
Do I consider he us overscored in terms of components? Hm. From the point of view of the current interpretation and the quality of the skating itself, now it's isn't.
But I think that judgment is being made in his favor.
Bottom line: Yuma is quite ok. Yuma's scores are NOT ok.
I hope we figured it out.

They had to cancel the Yuri on Ice movie because the original series was designated a true prophetic vision, and therefore the movie would have been blasphemy

N'Caged Ensemble - До и после. 2023 - experimental vocal quartet from Russia
GROUND Solyanka Gallery holds an annual festival combining contemporary academic music and the a cappella genre. The program of the 1st festival "Before and After" in 2021 revealed the problems in the sphere of vocal art education. It is a surprising fact, but the programs of Russian music institutions do not include one of the most important instruments - the voice - in the instrumental studies course. This is how the workshop "Voice as an Instrument" founded and conducted by the ensemble N'Caged came into being within the framework of the festival, which fills this essential gap - young composers and performers learn to understand and successfully work with the specifics of writing works for vocals. This album is the result of the educational workshop - a collaboration between the participating composers and the N'Caged Ensemble in 2023. N'Caged: Arina Zvereva Sergey Malinin Olga Rossini Ilya Laptev Composers: Anna Romashkova [1] Alina Mukhametrakhimova [2] Lukas Sukharev [3] Sergey Shestakov [4] Authors: Evgeniya Skokova [1] Irina Anferova, Andrey Grekov, Maxim Kharlamov, Varvara Matveyevicheva [2] Arseniy Osochenko [3] Andrey Abaulin [4] Recorded in the recording studio of the Center for Artistic Production "Vaults" of the House of Culture "GES-2". Festival curators*: Katya Bochavar and Arina Zvereva

Russian-American, God of Quads Malinin, made a quadruple axel. Stealing Big Hanyu's dream? (video)
Russian-American, God of Quads Malinin, made a quadruple axel. Stealing Big Hanyu’s dream? (video)
at the end of April Rafael Harutyunyan asked what you think Ilya Malinin. – If Ilya continues to work mainly on jumps, as he did before, he will definitely jump with five. Although, in theory, the quad should skip the axle even sooner. After that, doing five jumps will no longer seem so difficult. Recall that until now no one has left the quad axle clean in competitions. Wonderful Yuzuru HanyuThe…

I think Ilya Malinin also said he wants to have a go at it.
So the battle is between two of-the-shits skating uncles and one (1) chaotic 17 years old quadgod.
A moment of appreciation for how the 4A battle is between two 27-year-old and 29-year-old uncles just doing whatever they want

How is Ilya Malinin just like, Yuri Plisetsky come to life? Kid is 90% legs and makes history-making technical elements look like the standard
His artistic elements definitely need work, but this kid is going places
