i regret to inform you but i am no longer doing the lacy top for the witch costume BC!!!!! i found sparkly pants instead that will match my witch hat >:) but they are mesh so i have to find something to go under :/ but still buying things for my costume is making me more excited for spooky time!!!!

my cowgirl costume was just a basic blue jean white tank and a cow print cowgirl hat i got off of amazon that didn’t even fit my big head (later found out thats bc it was a kid size lolz) but i loooooove a pink cowgirl bachelorette theme SM!!!!! nothing can and i don’t think ever will beat it

i’m taking a break from any docs that have MCDs bc i simply cannot take it atm but when i can i will be binge reading and who knows i possibly might definitely read the alt ending for crimson rivers ;) but i will most definitely read the fic you recommended soon <3!!!!

hi friend hi!!!! SPARKLY PANTS! this is great news, fantastic news, probably the best thing a person could wear ever! can you just wear like... a pair of black tights under? so it covers your skin but doesn't take away from the sparkle? hm. or like spandex? idk. idk. let me know how it's turning out!!!

i actually think im going to be traveling for Halloween which would be sad news for anyone other than I, but because (as prev mentioned) im lame and lazy and boring i am THRILLED to be traveling and therefore have a perfect excuse not to dress up or go to any parties!! only hoping i make it back in time for those nov 1 50% off candy bags. the true holiday really.

also yes i too generally avoid MCD like the plague!!!! terrifying devastating i can't handle it at all. but knowing that one was an alt ending was somehow okay? and to be fair (minor spoiler) it has a ... comforting ending. like. as close to a happy ending as one can get when everyone is. well. dead :/

hmmm okay MANY THINGS! uh i’m at uni! my flat mates are all nice. it’s been barely 5 days and we already have the contact info for 2 drug dealers on the kitchen pinboard. (i will probably not do drugs but promise to be safe if i do). teaching starts on the 27th and i’ve met my programme leader n he’s very nice and has a small white dog named bill.

in bad news: my uni won’t let me change my name w/o legal documentation which i don’t have bc not w citizen, gonna email and ask if there’s no way they can’t even change it on my email or smth and somehow link it to my records? idk but i’ve spent the last 2h crying over that haha but i’m drinking tea n watching the new episodes of sex education now.

i regularly forget that i am an Incredibly Anxious person so have not gone out to a club or bar or anything but fingers crossed i *might* go to a free kickboxing + another jiu jitsu session next week but i don’t have any good sports stuff n i can’t work out in my binder so idk. i just want classes to start so i can actually focus on something.

i'm glad things have been mostly good!!! i wish i could give you advice on the name change situation. genuinely, it sucks that you'll have to put all that extra social and emotional energy into correcting people.

i definitely get the anxiety thing. i spent all of college unmedicated and only started going to therapy during my last year, so i never socialized much. i think you should go to at least one social event, whether it be the kickboxing session or something else. it's never as scary as you think it will be, and you don't want to start a pattern of self-isolating.

i wish you all the luck! let me know how classes are going once you start!

Doc anon. Goodness it has been a while since we talked! Everyone is doing well! Baby is getting bigger by the day(she has my husband’s hair!!), both hubby and I got our omicron booster shots(I highly recommend you get it and then your flu shot as well!) and honestly the sense of stability we’ve reached is really nice. Hope you’re doing well too 💜

Doc anon. To answer your date question, you could potentially ask someone close to you like a friend or sibling? Hey, even a relative in general that you don’t mind going with(I once took my mom as my date once and it was a lot of fun)!

thank you for the tip! i will probably take my dad or my older sister if i can't find anyone else, but i'm feeling a little adventurous and an actual date sounds like fun:)

on the one hand, we’re in the middle of a pandemic and he should absolutely wear a mask. on the other,,, we wouldn’t have been able to witness his facial expressions

Doc anon. Not the pediatrician breathing a sigh of relief bc hubby and I are pretty much adamant that baby will get vaccinated. We did chit chat a bit as one lady physician to another and she was all “You wouldn’t believe how many parents are not willing to get their kiddos vaccinated. 💀” and while I know this obviously, having a child of my own makes me a bit protective. I don’t blame a child for not having their vaccines but I certainly wouldn’t want my baby to be playing with them down the line if I can help it.

😬😬😬 thank you for being smart and responsible (not that i would expect anything less). that kid doesn't know how lucky it is to have such awesome parents

Doc anon. Kind of a vent, but hubby and I plus our beautiful baby were sitting outside in the backyard since the weather was rather nice and I had to feed Baby so I was just doing my thing. Well later in the day a neighbor texted me saying that they could see me breastfeeding from their house(mind you I use a nursing blanket when I’m not in the house bc I prefer it) and to not breastfeed in public again bc it was “indecent, especially since there are children around”. I was too tired to reply so Hubby replied for me telling the neighbor to go shove it for staring and that what I was doing was perfectly natural but gahhh! I’m just feeding my baby in peace!

i didn't know you delivered (i mean, i assumed, but couldn't remember the timeline for sure)!!! congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!! tell me everything you feel comfortable telling me!!!!

Doc anon. Baby has a stuffed giraffe that my husband likes to grab and move around while saying “Hahahahaha it’s a giraffe!”(the quote from SpongeBob) and ngl it makes my heart expand ten sizes hearing the baby’s giggle after.
