I refuse to believe that Samurai Jack season 5 exists. Like it was so good until they decided to do… that. Why couldn’t him and Ashi have a father daughter relationship or something to go along with the fact that she’s a daughter of Aku yet she’s supposed to worship and kill for a man, her “father”, who really wasnt there for her as she was raised in isolation yet the man she was supposed to kill was more of a father to her in a few days and showed her the world ? Like the creative choices were so weird.

But like this is also created by the same man who made Sym Bionic Titan and had Lance and Ilana pretend to be siblings for the sake of their cover and establish a sibling dynamic and then later on decided that they should be potential love interests. Like I’m actually kind of glad that Sym Bionic Titan got cancelled because if it got another season or two Lance and Ilana would have ended up together and I would have thrown up. Like what’s with all the questionable romance choices ? I didnt even continue Unicorn Warriors Eternal because I was scared that he was gonna put another questionable romance in it

I apologize for disappearing only to come back with yet another fandom, but I had gotten into a Sym-Bionic Titan mood and noticed something in the episode "Shaman of Fear":

Ilana's fear dealt with the Future, and as such she was affected most by the Shaman's visions, thinking that Galaluna has fallen amd her father had died

In contrast, Lance's fear dealt with the Past, and while he was still very much affected by the visions, he ultimately recognizes the visions are not reality and not only snapped out of it but helped Ilana snap out of it too.

Meanwhile, Octus is grounded in the Present, and is not affected by the Shaman or his illusions (probably due to his inorganic nature)

Don't know what else to say other than I thought it was neat...
