it’s not the lol itself. it’s the flippant response to good faith asks. someone will be like “hey jsyk i was asking a genuine question and you were really rude” and you’ll be like “yeah true lol.” it just comes across as very immature, smug, and resistant to discussion. which ik is the norm on salt blogs in general but hasn’t typically been the norm here. this place used to have more of a community feel and we could talk issues out, but anons and commenters have both gotten more toxic
