Shining in glory, this 19-year-old has reached the Gold.

Vanshik Kapadia, an efficient Pickleball athlete & a Bachelor of Sports Management student at IISM, has recently won the Gold Medal in the Men’s Double Open category at the World Pickleball Championship 2024 held in China earlier this month.

For his remarkable performance, he has been ranked as No.3 in Men’s singles & Mixed Doubles in the same tournament.

Not only that, he represented India many times. Notably, in April, he also bagged Gold, Silver & Bronze medals in the selective categories at the World Pickleball Championship in Vietnam.

Along with making India proud on foreign soil, Vanshik wants to create a great portfolio in the sports business domain too. Moreover, he garnered many accolades in his credit as a Lawn Tennis player in his early years.

We applaud his exceptional performances in the matches and congratulate him for every win.

IISM students volunteered in the famous NSCI Inter-Club Sports Championship, which was hosted by Bayside Sports from April 1–15, 2024, putting practical experience front and center.

Our scholars took on the responsibilities of handling logistics, talking with officials, arranging with vendors, and guaranteeing a smooth event flow.

At IISM, we really think that providing students with real-world experience is essential to turning academic knowledge into exceptional practical application. Our third day in Paris began with a visit to the famous Stade de France, the stadium that hosted the 2022 UEFA Champions League Final.

In the evening, we had an interactive chat session with Fahad Qureishi, a renowned sports management professional in Paris, who shared insightful experiences about reporting and planning mega sporting events in France.

As the day ended, we walked away with a greater love for how sports and culture come together in this lively city.
