Last night I went out for margaritas and Mexican food for my friend’s birthday and this is the makeup I wore! I don’t typically wear my hair up when I’m dressed up to go somewhere but lately when I don’t feel like rewashing my hair I do a low middle part pony tail teased a bit then curl the ponytail and some pieces around my face.  Instant fancy-ish hair without much effort. This is like 4th day hair and I got ready after work so I didn’t have enough time to wash/ dry/ style. 

  Originally I had planned to do a dark teal smokey eye but I ended up chickening out and doing this look because I feel like teal with the leather would be a lot. That look will hopefully be coming soon! I ended up going with a typical warm crease with a light pink shimmer eye- Stila Magnificent Metal eyeshadows are such an OG product and nothing is as glittery as them! I’d love for Stila to do this shade Metallic Dusty Rose in their new Glitter & Glow formula just because application is way easier.

The lashes are Slay by IIKONN and this was my first time wearing them.  This is the second pair of lashes I have tried from Iikonn and it amazes me that they look so huge in the box but are subtle and lightweight when you put them on.  The other pair I have from them are Black Magic, which are a little more fanned out and long than these.  I’m in love with how these looked!   One more product I want to highlight is the Makeup Forever HD foundation stick- when I got home I looked and the foundation literally was glowing, and not in the usual greasy way. This was STUNNING and probably my holy grail foundation of all time.

JACKET | This faux leather one on Amazon… fits true to size/ a little big if you don’t have massively large shoulders like I do. It doesn’t make me feel bulky which is so rare for a leather jacket and I’m obsessed. IT’S ONLY $30!! K done raving about it. I wore it with a simple black cami from Forever21 tucked into the Free People Float On jeans and these black booties. 

I really like how the look turned out and felt glam but not too overdone for dinner.  Also, if you ever get the chance to order Al Pastor tacos…. do it!! It’s a delicious marinated meat.
