FACTION SWAP AU - LOST TEMPLE!!

IIIII know that there may be mixed opinions about this and honestly so do iii (especially towards skateboard... idk his trousers or whatever look off to me and idk how to fix that tbh) BUT i have explanations!!

Lost Temple doesn't seem to have proper 'traditional' clothing, and the reasons I haven't designed these two to have any teal or big uses of gold in their designs is because those are the cult's uniform, therefore I feel like these two don't need to wear it. Instead, I took the suggestion of someone in bogcom and decided to look at western clothing, or clothing normally worn in deserts.

And so that's what I made them wear. I thought that it'd be nice if I made them match something, so they both wear the same gloves and a cowboy hat lol. i must say that Lost Temple and Playground have been the hardest to design since they don't seem to have faction attire (or at least, from what we know so far. if they do, i MIGHT make redesigns)

I didn't want to make designs that are only based on western clothing, so i went for something different for Rocket. I went for baggy clothing and a hood to protect him from the harsh sunlight, and also a strap to help him carry his launcher on his back

This, and other doodles, are probably all i'm going to do for him since he's no longer in a faction.

hello hello,,,, frankly i have no fuckin clue where to even actually begin on tryna explain the au, eeeeespecially because the au's a funky as hell mixture of a lot of my favorite hyperfixations combined (if youve been goin through the fuckinn "vry's rgb au" tag specifically you may have noticed that a bit of fnf's popped up in there, that's uh, that's the main reason/focus/starting point of the au actually hhhhhh)

best explanation i could try to come up with though is that ofc its multi-fandom focused, aaaaand sorta retellings/adaptations of canonical events (though i will say that its canon-compliant *to an extent*, as some of the events may deviate/be rewritten from actual canon) and also colors have a bit of a massive focus in the au if the au name is anythin to go by sjdjwjdjajjsj

speakin of the focus on colors, every single one of the characters do have color nicknames, iiiii just havent used em publically yet bc i wasnt in the mood to really explain the reason for why and how they even got those yet, but i'm prrrrrrobably gonna start usin them in eventually (and just so yall know, i will probably be listin the color nickname list of the goobers involved eventually, for now though you get to know that 4's is Portage (a light shade of blue) and 3's is Paua (a darker shade of blue, i am aware his main color is purple but uhh i was rediscoverin the smg4 series sometime durin puzzlevision so i was misrememberin his pre-redesign+ color palette 😭, its kinda too late to change it to some shade of purple atp so uhhh oops)

What’s the difference between a borrower and a tiny? Stuff like that! I did go through your blog and I think I understand some stuff but more explanations would be amazing ty!

hihi!! im so glad to have helped a bit, im honestly probably not the best person to answer this (i dont talk with many people in the community, though i really want to!! (yall should send me messages and talk about cute g/t things with me) ) but from my perspective its all a matter of semantics. a lot of this space is about fulfilling fantasies, so everything, including terms like mini-giant and borrower, is in service to figuring out ways to fulfill those fantasies

from my perspective, usually i see mini-giant refer to giants that are typically in the ballpark of 8 to 15 feet tall, specifically at a size where they can still be mostly a normal person and still participate in normal life, but with some extra stipulations to account for their size. the difference between borrower and tiny is a weird one for me because borrower, as far as im aware of, was popularized by some particular kinds of media that iiiii have no real perspective on? <w> ive never read, watched, or seen anything with borrowers so ive never had to interact with it, but from what i understand a borrower is just a specific kind of tiny. if other people have a better understanding of it, lmk in the replies to this post so this anon can get a better understanding ^^

headcanon : griffith. re: griffith and being intersex.

iiiii don't know how explicit i can get, despite it not being sexual and purely medical, because of tumblr. but i'll try my best for the ease of explanation. beneath a read more for nsft discussion. tw for discussions of self hatred regarding being born intersex.

griffith was born intersex and as a result, was abandoned by his family, who assumed he was sick or some sort of changeling child. so it's part of the reason he feels so completely alone and destined in this world--he doesn't know what being intersex is or that he's normal, it's just something that happens. he's never met anyone else with his condition and genuinely, honestly believes he's deformed for a long time. even books he finds on the topic within the king's library all mention his condition as a "deformity".

griffith, as far as my research has allowed, has ovotestis, which means he has both "male" and "female" sex organs. his clitoris is formed into a penis, and he has no testicles. beneath his clitoris is his vagina, with a shortened vaginal canal. in most cases of ovotestis, only one set of genitals, so to speak, functions, and for griffith, that's his vagina. his "penis", so to speak, doesn't create anything, though it's how i think he is able to walk around naked in front of the band of the hawk, and to have penetrative sex with charlotte. there's an artistic rendering of what i think they look like but i don't think i can attach that image without getting flagged. regardless, as far as anyone knows, griffith is cis, because he has a penis, and i doubt anyone in a medieval fantasy world thinks about it beyond that.

that being said, because his genitals don't function either way, he can't get someone pregnant, nor can he become pregnant. this changes when he becomes femtoe--part of his transformation is to remain intersex, but to have "true" genitalia, due to his own self-hatred and lack of education about his condition. whether he can actually have an heir with charlotte, bear any children within his womb, or anything related to reproduction is not entirely certain, for me or for griffith. if it turns out him and charlotte do end up conceiving, i'll probably say yes, that it was made possible by the godhand; if not, i'll go the other way.

that said, griffith often fantasizes about being a "true" version of one gender or the other and has much self hatred for his condition, especially how it relates to his love interests and how they see him. it's part of why he killed gennon, to keep the secret he feels is "shameful". i think this also played a part with the eclipse--griffith wanted to establish that he was "a real man" now, by committing the violence that is typical of men and has been done to him in the past by other men.

not as important, but a smaller detail: griffith's puberty didn't fill him out like guts' or casca's puberty. he became more feminine and slender, if anything, due to a higher level of estrogen and lower testosterone.

Hii, I was just wondering how do you go about writing the technical aspects of Hadea? Like when they're talking about repairing the ship, the comms, even Rohan's explanation of IVI. Is it something that you have to research beforehand? Thank you. :)

iiiii make a lot of shit up :) the stuff about repairing the ship and comms is mostly fairly meaningless jargon - i do a little bit of googling and then i run wild and if it sounds dumb i edit it later lmao. there are basic principles of space travel/long distance comms/general physics that you can apply, but it's generally more important that things follow the internally consistent lore you've laid out than that it adheres directly to real-life science.

the stuff about the AI is much more thought-out and actually does have some kinda basis in real science (if not. much); it's definitely more of a philosophical approach than a rigorous scientific theory, but it is something I've put a lot of thought into and will, at some point, probably release a bunch of bonus material about. you'll get more of an explanation of how it all works in-game, though :-)

“Why am I here again?” You asked, looking over at your sister. The two of you, along with the entire Cullen family, were hanging around in some snow-covered clearing in the woods, waiting for the Quileute wolves to show up so that they could renegotiate the treaty, so that, hopefully, the Cullens could turn Bella without causing a full-on war to break out. “I get that this is important to you and all, but Bells, I’m human, and I don’t really want that to change, so I don’t see how this involves me.”

“Because you’re an honorary Cullen, human or otherwise.” Bella grinned at you, reaching over to shove you playfully, “And Emmett wouldn’t shut up about seeing his future brother-in-law again, so I figured this would be a good time to bring you to visit.” She shrugged, looking back out toward the wall of trees in the direction of the reservation, “Besides, having another normal person here might help convince everyone to keep a level head.”

You snorted, crossing your arms over your chest, “Bells, you’re a lot of things, but normal definitely isn’t one of them.” You waited with your sister for a few more minutes before getting bored and going to go talk to Alice and Jasper.

Time seemed to have been passing even slower for Emmett than it had been for you, since you’d barely even greeted the dainty vampire and her mate before the brunet’s arms snaked around your waist and dragged you up against his chest and you barely had enough time to close your eyes before he was suplexing you into a snow drift.

To mess with him, you remained perfectly still once he’d let go of you, even going so far as to hold your breath. There was a lot of shouting, far more than if it had been just the Cullens to witness your little prank, meaning the wolves had undoubtedly arrived just in time to see you get pitched into a snowbank. There was the expected moment of arguing but before you knew it, you’d been hauled up out of the snow by a pair of arms so warm that you had to wonder whether hypothermia had set in upon impact.

“What the hell, leech?!” The chest you were being held against rumbled as it’s owner growled, “Not enough to have to kill things to exist, now you go killing your own sympathizers!”

You could hear Emmett snarling and you knew that you needed to intervene before things got even further out of hand. You jerked against the stranger’s grip, forcing yourself out of their arms and back to your feet. “Don’t get your fur in a bunch, Fido,” you grumbled, stumbling a little as you tried to regain your balance. “I’m fine, just a little colder than I’d like to be.” It was then that you looked up at your ‘rescuer.’

His hands were still extended out toward you to help steady you if you needed it, but now you’d been knocked off balance for an entirely different reason. He was tall, towering over you easily even though you really weren’t all that short yourself, and he was built, with thick arms and a defined chest and abs and the rich russet color of his skin only made his musculature all the more appealing. Suddenly you were a little regretful that your playing-dead act had ended so soon. He had close cropped black hair that nearly matched the pitch-dark eyes that were fixated on you, like the two of you were the only people left in the world. 

His lips twitched up into a tiny grin, like it was meant for you and you only. “Hi,” he said, voice small and breathless like he’d just run a marathon. “I’m Paul.”

You’d opened your mouth to respond when you were cut off by the celebratory whoops and hollers coming from the rest of the wolf pack. Your brows furrowed and you turned away from Paul to see what all the commotion was about.

You could see Edward murmur something quietly to the rest of the family, dark amber eyes flickering warily between the two of you. Emmett bristled, storming over and planting himself between the two of you. “No way in hell,” he said, crossing his arms over his chest. “Any of the other mutts I could’ve learned to live with, but you? Fat fucking chance.”

The werewolf’s shoulders straightened and you could tell he was trying to hold himself back. “It’s not really any of your business anyway.”

“Not my business?” Emmett hissed, tensing at the insinuation. “(M/N)’s my best friend! It’s definitely my business if some mongrel thinks it’s his place to come try and steal him away!”

It was fair to say that you were incredibly confused, but you knew that your first step needed to be defusing the situation. “Emmett,” you said, putting a hand on his shoulder as you spoke, “You wanna tell me what’s got you so pissy?”

Rosalie was the one to answer you, stalking forward to stand beside her husband and glare at Paul. “This pathetic little puppy imprinted on you.”

“Imprinted?” Your brows furrowed and you glanced toward the rest of the pack for an explanation.

Jacob, the only one of the wolves you’d actually met before now, nodded at you, “It’s, uh, kind of like soulmates. When a wolf imprints, it’s like their person is the only thing that matters anymore. Like they’re what’s holding you to the planet, not gravity.”

“Oh.” Well. That hadn’t been what you were expecting. You turned back to look at the vampires blocking you from Paul’s sight, nudging your way past them with a sigh so you could look up at Paul. “Is that true? Did you imprint on me?”

You could see him swallow hard before he forced himself to speak, “Y-yeah.” He was quick to backtrack, “But it doesn’t have to be r-romantic or anything, if that’s not what you want or you aren’t into guys or anything. We could just be friends? Or, uh, whatever you want me to be, really?”

You couldn’t help but smile a little; he was cute when he got flustered. “Tell you what, after this, if negotiations go well, I’ll let you take me out to dinner and we can talk about it, okay?”

Paul brightened, a wide grin taking over his features, “Yeah? Yeah.” He paused, seemingly getting lost in thought for a second, “Yeah-” He pulled a face, “I said that already. Um, sure. Anywhere you want is fine, I’ll just be happy to be there,” he grinned at you sheepishly, ducking his head to hide the faint blush coloring his cheeks.

Carlisle chose that moment to interrupt, “Well, with that excitement settled,” he started, shooting the two of you an amused grin. Esme smiled at the two of you from her place beside him, “I believe we have a treaty to discuss?”

Emmett and Rosalie headed back to the rest of the Cullens with a huff, but the rest didn’t seem all too bothered about your new bodyguard/soulmate. Alice even looked excited, bouncing up and down on her toes and speaking quickly to Jasper, probably already planning your wedding even though you and Paul had just barely met. 

You took a few steps toward the group before a thought struck you. You turned to look over your shoulder at the werewolf, “Hey, Paul? You said you’d be anything I needed you to, right?”

He perked up as you addressed him, grinning back at you. “Absolutely.”

“Well,” you started, smirking mischievously, “I’m still pretty chilly, so I could really use a space heater?”

Paul smiled as he realized what you meant, waiting until you turned back to listen to the negotiations to drape himself over you, slipping his arms around your middle so he could pull you flush against his chest. He pressed a barely-there kiss to your shoulder before setting his chin there so he could still see what was happening. He may not have known what you’d want from him in the future, but right now, with you in his arms, Paul was perfectly content.

rating my blaseball works on the parker scale

a little under a week ago, i made a post detailing a 1-5 metric for evaluating the amount of knowledge of various aspects of blaseball asked of a reader to understand the events and narrative driving the work. this can be anything from actual game mechanics and plot events to character/team lore.

tl;dr explanation: a rating of 1 means you can understand it with little to no prior knowledge of blaseball, a rating of 3 means the average blaseball fan should be able to understand what's going on, and a rating of 5 means the reader should be well-versed in the subject in order to understand the work properly. this refers to prior knowledge assumed of the reader. if the events are somehow explained in the text or in a beginning/end note, it can justify a lower rating.

for the purpose of self-evaluation and to provide examples of what i personally would consider something that falls under each rating, i will be rating my own fics below the cut. you don't have to be familiar with my writing - i'll give an explanation of why i gave it the rating i did.

so, here we go! i'll rate them in chronological order.

that which you cannot kill - 3

reasoning: this is an example of a work which has its rating lowered by an explanation of the events at the beginning. even if you didn't know anything about the second wyatt masoning, the excerpt from the season 14 blaseball beat explaning the details in full is at the beginning. additionally, max and ivy's names are color coded in the blaseball beat excerpt so you know who's who when they speak individually.

while it does help to know a little bit about the characters before going into it, this isn't absolutely necessary to understanding what's going on. additionally, there are some bits of team lore included, these are not central to the plot and aren't required knowledge.

blasetober 2021 (poetry collection) - 4

reasoning: it's hard to rate a collection of short poems as a whole, but this covers a lot of characters and their individual stories, as well as plot events and individual games. without the character tags to serve as a guide for who/what each individual poem is about, you're kind of going off vibes. these were initially posted individually on discord and had a background included with each one, which is not present in the collective work published to ao3. however, even without the background knowledge, it's mostly possible to just vibe with poetry, so it's not a solid 5.

snippets from the immaterial plane (poetry collection) - 4

reasoning: same as above re: rating a poetry collection as a whole. however, here i would like to provide examples of individual poems that would fit each rating:

-salmon: 1 (you don't need to know anything about blaseball to vibe with this one. hell, you could read it as being about actual salmon and still get the vibe.)

-a soul is a heavy burden: 2 (even if you're unfamiliar with chorby soul's story, it's a pretty basic rundown of what happened to them. the reader should have a basic understanding of what happens to players who are brought back from the dead and perhaps also consumers, but it's still pretty easy to vibe with this one imo)

-save situation: 3 (this assumes knowledge of the season 24 earlsiesta. italicized lines are taken directly from parker macmillan iiiii's speech. it also indirectly references the coin and the original parker macmillan. basically, if you know the general plot of season 24, you should be able to get this one.)

-on knives and how to use them: 4 (there's a bit more background knowledge required here, but context clues can help with that. the season 15 day 37 garages vs. lovers game is directly referenced, and looking through the character tags listed at the top would probably help the reader figure out max is the speaker. if you know the "you" in the poem is nan, and you know what happened on s15d37, then it becomes easier to understand.)

-fourteen days: 5 (the only context clues here might come from carefully looking at the character tags, which would indicate this poem is about mike townsend and jaylen hotdogfingers. however, that's about it. in order to really get what's going on, the reader would need to know about jaylen's season 17 career, in which she was on the rotation next to mike townsend for fourteen days before being involved in a feedback swap on s17d15. there is also reference to a game involving betsy trombone and pitching machine getting into a fight, which probably only hits as a funny moment if you know that's what it's about. basically, most people who aren't garages fans familar with the characters and their backstories might miss out on this one.)

reasoning: this one is pretty easy to understand with an average knowledge of blaseball (specifically, short circuits.) many of the plot events show the first two short circuits playing out. knowing the backstories of any of the three main characters isn't necessary here, as all of the relevant parts are explained in some detail during the story.

reasoning: this one would be a solid 5 without the end note. it references a lot of election results and very specific "what if" scenarios (hence the title) that get explained in an end note.

reasoning: the beginning note explains this fic is about merry exit meeting the version of themself from the tutorial game (which is currently unavailable on the actual website, so the reader can't currently go looking for that knowledge prior to reading.) it's not impossible to understand without knowing what happened in the tutorial game because it gets explained at some point, which is the only thing keeping me from giving it a higher rating. if you have a basic understanding of short circuits, even without knowing what happened during the tutorial game, it should still be understandable.

reasoning: even though it's not finished (i'll write the last chapter eventually, i promise lmao) i don't expect to write anything that's gonna give it a higher rating. it does help to know a little bit about the characters, but it's not absolutely essential to understanding the story because their situation is briefly explained at the beginning. while there is a bit of core mechanics lore included in the story, it's not required knowledge and is mostly there for worldbuilding purposes. the first chapter loosely follows the s20d111 steaks vs. mechs game, which the reader also does not need to be familiar with.

reasoning: the reader is mostly just expected to have a general understanding of the vault and legendary players. the fic follows chorby soul from season 18 to the semi-centennial. you can be just as confused as they are and learn about parker macmillan along with them if you're not familar with the later part of the expansion era.

because it's not like i have anything better to do at 3 am.

as a quick background: this is mainly about my hunt for the cb chara manga. ive known of the vague existence of a cb chara go nagai world manga for a little while now. and, considering how i just finished the cb chara wars video game, i decided that it could be fun to continue my search for the manga that allegedly exists but i have never seen literally anything about, ever. so in we go, after changing up a few google settings....

this set of books was the first thing i stumbled upon, and... listen, okay. i'll admit that i am mainly using google translate to scrape by here. something i noticed was that in the descriptions for the volumes, they tack the word for 'encyclopedia' on after the names. so.. this leads me to believe that this isnt the manga im looking for. other translation attempts include it saying things like 'video story explanation' or 'video story commentary', so. also, from the preview of the books, it seems to just be screenshots from the ova? well anyways

I'm playing this game for the first time and loving Cassandra and Lavellan together so much. (I'm playing with a mod where I can romance her with a female PC!) Lavellan starts off as this confused and small and non-Andrastian prisoner who disagrees with Cassandra on so many things, but Cassandra puts so much trust and faith in her and so much on the line for her - even with Lavellans who are adamant that they're not chosen, they're just doing their best and they happen to be the ones in the position to make this choice. Cassandra is so proud to know her, and backs her up even when she disagrees with Lavellan's choices! The romance scene is really cute between two characters who are adults and have a day-to-day working relationship that isn't going to change, but are still just having fun with how charming it is in a way that builds on their friendship. Not to mention their battling together, of course - the ways they can protect each other and fight for each other's goals (and give Cassandra all the elven swords and shields), how worried they sound if the other one gets hurt...whoops, I found myself another loyalty kink ship.

I also just like playing as Lavellan generally, with how much of an outsider she feels (the "Dawn Will Come" scene is so alienating! it really works!) and how much of the game is about visiting the sites of past elven trauma and/or glory days.

My Lavellan uses the (default lol) name of Ellana, is a rift mage, sports a lovely buzzcut and vallaslin, has a lot of feelings about elf history (and visiting the Plains/Graves especially), believes in elven gods and doesn't care to pretend she's Andrastian, and besides Cass is closest friends with Solas, but don't feel that you have to write my specific PC - I'm excited to read about yours too!

But! I also love all the little hints about the work that Leliana's agents are doing, and their friendship (walking in on their card game at Caer Bronach is kind of delightful), and the letter from Rector's mother asking why he uses a code name for work (why are you ashamed of your name, Wilbur??) is one of my favorite in-universe documents. Slice-of-life or slice-of-mission with Charter and Rector would also make me really happy. Here again, just the closeness and trust and faith that these people have in one another is my jam.

Fandom-Specific DNW: Canon-typical levels of Cassandra's association with the Chantry and belief in the Maker/Andraste/the Herald shouldn't be taken to contravene my DNW of Christian themes, but I wouldn't want Satinalia fic or something focused on the Andrastian faith. Nonius was one of my favorite new characters in Harrow the Ninth. His whole impossible arrival via evocation-by-poetry, battle with the Sleeper, and epic departure to fight the Beast made me very, very happy on levels I have trouble explaining. It was so heartwarming?! Because it was impossible, and because poetry won, and because they went off to do the best they could...I don't know, exactly. (Iiiii also just love that he's named for the Redwall mouse.) I'd love to read more about his life - being unprepossessing and very human but also paladin-like and really fucking good at being a swordsman, representing the Ninth House in slightly less decrepit times, his mysterious past with Gideon the First (and Pyrrha, sort of), however it happened that he died far from home in an unknown place and couldn't be recovered for burial, "chickenshits don't get beer"? Or, er, his afterlife - going to fight with Marta, Ortus, and Pro, re-encountering G1deon as allies...

I fell hard for this show and Abigail/Raelle is the ship I’m most excited about - they get off to a bad start for all kinds of personal history reasons and have problems with each other, but when it gets down to the wire Abigail would do anything for Raelle and is very gung-ho about having Raelle’s unconventional but extremely powerful magic under her leadership, regardless of Raelle being a loose cannon. She told her she loved her!! <3 And by the end, Raelle also clearly knows what Abigail's going through (like when she talks her down in "Citydrop"), respects her leadership, and cares deeply about her and wants to protect her in return. I love that loyalty dynamic, and their competence as fighters/witches.

Physical combat, strength in general, magical strength, ability to work magic together, knowledge of the magical canon vs. out-of-the-box techniques...what parts of their skills and their bond could be challenged in the weird dimension that the end of season 1 leaves them in? Or when they get back home and new challenges await? (In my head, the decision not to send them to War College is not revoked; the unit becomes some kind of special-forces secret strike team rather than cannon fodder.) Maybe something where Raelle goes/has gone into a fight as a berserker-type for Abigail and then comes back to her, or where Abigail protects/has protected her soldier (her girl!! I love her protectiveness of Raelle towards the other cadets, imagine it in a battle!)? Or an arranged marriage AU where it's usual for witch soldiers to marry to combine their magic power or something...If including smut in the story, I'd especially be up for something d/s-y where the loyalty-kinky dynamic of Raelle being Abigail's weapon, at her command, is echoed in sex!

OR. The alternate history that the show has created is so interesting and I'm craving expansion of that through fic! Tell me about the Bellweather ancestor who was a slave and ended up powerful and influential enough to begin a dynasty, and how she met and was recruited by Alder. Or other enslaved witches, witches in the American Revolution or the Civil War, or the founding of Fort Salem and standardization of American military magic with its various influences, or Chinese or Jewish or Mexican immigrant witches who maybe came from different magic traditions and might have had to make the choice of whether or not to reveal that they had magic (if the system knows you because of your descent in the country?), serving their country but also binding their daughters and granddaughters forever.

Or the future of both of them now that they’ve found each other!

Quickly, just imagine them as adults like I am- underage drinking is a big fat “no”, look at me being an... dork. But anyway In the less dork-part let’s say this... I’m literally a giant mess who hasn’t ever been drunk or anything, I don’t really know the effects so we’re going to use those anime-type-of-drunk which is very likely VERY inaccurate or... somewhat-realistic I don’t know. But woah.

Kiibo (Error! Error! Overheating!)

After coming back from his last check-up from Miu you were expecting to be cuddled up close with Kiibo on the couch, watching nextflix- some cheesy Disney movie which you’ve already seen thousands of time before... that’s what you thought....

Till Kiibo walked in adjusted by an trembling Miu who had her arm slung around him, she looked down on the verge of tears muttering about being “so disrespected”, Kiibo sluggishly rolls his head up bursts of steam expanded from every inch of his body.

“... U... Uuuh... there was a function I added inside of em’ to test some booze I was plannin’ on drinking... it was... uh... successful but... J-Just take him- I don’t want to be fuckin’ called out anymore!”

Miu threw Kiibo in your direction running back from once she came, wiping at her eyes as she whined about “how mean” he was... you could only watch Kiibo stir awake, nervousness pricked at your stomach as you realized she made Kiibo try an alcoholic... BEVERAGE!

“... (S/O)?” Kiibo glances up at you, blinking once or twice as he took in his surroundings, you asked if he was okay- he groggily nodded his head. “Never better (S/O)... but... Miu... I-I was just telling her about how stupid it is that she puts herself down almost all the time when she has a brilliant mind, then her very inappropriate attitude- which she presents herself to cover up that wall of self-esteem issues she has... Ah... then there was me getting onto the fact that most people are uncomfortable with the sexual intuendos she has- and for some odd reason before I could say anymore she dragged me here...”

“... I rebooted on the way... once or twice...”

“... what.” Oh. Oh my god... He... What? Kiibo said that?

“... Yes... Hey (S/O) actually I-I have some things to say about you too, look me in the eyes, look at me right now please...” Kiibo cups your face, he looks you right in the eyes, those aren’t the soft loving eyes you know- those are eyes that... are going to fucking destroy you.

Kiibo holds your face tight, escape is impossible, he sluggishly rolls his head as a soft frown falls on his face.

“... You have your errors yourself actually... like... how you...”

You failed... you are absolutely burnt, just turned into soot by the end of his rant, he’s just sleeping peacefully under the blankets that you had gotten for “cuddle night”, you don’t feel soft at all- you just feel absolutely WRECKED.

Shuichi Saihara (Sad Drunk)

You had both gone out on a party together, specifically a reunion with your classmates which Kokichi was hosting... which already sported red flags but you all didn’t question it, that is until people started to drop like flies... people who drank the punch specifically dropped like flies.

Kaede asked who made the punch... when the relevation that it was Miu and Kokichi themselves it all fell into place like a puzzle, they spiked the goddamn punch.

One of the victims... happened to be Shuichi, a light-weight he hugged your arm tightly slurring and whirling, tears fell down his face as he cried and sobbed about the world.

“... (S-S-S/O!) It’s no fair... I-Iiiii never did anything wrong so why does everything hafta’ be against meeeee...? *hic* it’s unfair.... unfairunfairunfair!”

It’s the fifth time you pat his back, he leans in for a better hold of you so you can give him more affection, he loves that so please do go on, he lets out a slurred hiccup.

“... (S-S/O) a... aaare you seeing anyone...? You always were soooo pretty... and... aaand niiiiice... *hic* and... aaand it make me really happy... I-Iiii wanted to date you since forever ago...”

... How drunk is he to forget the two of you are already dating? “I am.”

Shuichi’s eyes widen, he presses himself up against you with an wail as he starts to cry harder. “Of course yu are- H-Hic- I’m NOT CRYINGF.”

You can’t help but to wonder how he’ll feel in the morning, for now you try to give your poor drunk boyfriend solace as you explain how the two of you are already well- dating.

Luckily, Shuichi falls asleep on your lap while you comfort him, the tears having tired him out... he put his hands around your waist, he bids the world “night night”.

Ryoma Hoshi (Excitable Drunk)

Ryoma wasn’t a heavy drinker, actually he had never drank an drop of the stuff ever, prison doesn’t allow those sort of luxuries, besides he just didn’t want to ruin his reputation by drinking at about fifteen or some shit.

So... he was old enough, the two of you were going on a date here... he’d was just chugging the stuff considering he wanted to see how it tasted, which was rather gross under further consideration... but what he happened to pick up is that he wasn’t feeling all that woozy... guess he ain’t no light-weight.

But he sure ain’t no god, it takes about three whole damn bottles for the effects to start to shine.

...It takes five whole damn bottles for him to actually feel anything, you kept a close eye on your boyfriend as he put the second bottle down with a huff, wiping at his mouth with a “wew”!

“... That was uh, gross taste, heh.” Ryoma pulled his hat up, his cheeks flush slightly pink as he looked around. “Hey. Hey (S/O) you gorgeous son of a bitch look at me.” As soon as you even give him your attention he fingerguns.

... Ryoma wobbly pulls himself up, he doesn’t look like he’ll trip, honestly somehow he still has his balance as he takes your hand.

“... Oh my god I just had an amazing idea. We should adopt,,, a lot of cats,,, not like,,, any cats,,, but... buuuut like an shop full of them,,, and name each of them something silly...” Ryoma’s eyes sparkle deviously. “... Or... like... like... steal everybody’s cats... so we remain the supreme leaders of feline...”

“... Ryoma... do... do you feel tired? Want to take a nap, as amazing ideas as these sound I don’t think your in the right state of mind for... this.” If you let any of this happen, Ryoma’s going to hate himself in the morning.

“I know what I’m doing... I have a license... gimme a sec...” Ryoma pulls out a piece of paper, writes on it, flips it to reveal in sloppy handwriting: “I knwo wat Im do”

You try to survey his features after writing that, all he does is shoot his fingerguns at you.

...Okat you honestly need to take a few pictures of this to show Ryoma later oh my god he’s wobbling towards the door to bring one of those plans he’s mentioned to full-glory, you locked the door for Ryoma, his drunken brain can’t comprehend how to use a step-ladder. You just go to get him some water...

Kaito Momota (... Tired Drunk)

Kaito wouldn’t drink... much, sure, he would totally forge an certificate to like- well, go to space but that was for a good cause! Stuff like drinking was meant to be done for special events and shit otherwise you might get hooked!

And he didn’t actually mean to get drunk on you! He promised he just... kind of mistook the wine in the fridge as the grape panta, he was thirsty- and really fucking tired! Okay? He didn’t expect when he chugged the whole bottle down for the world to... to... hnnnnnn... what’s the word...?

It took a while for you to notice anything was amiss, Kaito had taken himself out of the room to “go get a drink” then he still never came back, so you went to check on your boyfriend to see if he still hadn’t gotten anything, needed some help.

What you didn’t expect to see was Kaito Momota Luminary of the Stars on the floor looking back up at the ceiling mindlessly, with that bottle of wine held tightly in his hands.

“... D... Doo... yu... think it’d be a bd idea if I trie... tried to take a np here? Jst... slep untl a hangover fcks me the hell up, everything hur ts.”

... Oh god! That’s even more errors than usual, so it’s likely on purpose! Kaito’s DRUNK!

You go to get some water for him in the fridge, Kaito’s still looking at the ceiling talking to himself slightly hushed, you don’t know what he’s thinking but he looks like he’s having an ephiphany about the world.

“Holy... Hly sht (S/O) I jst realized how fuckin... weird that Shuichi’s hair stands up like that... he doesn’t use anything to make it like that so how.”

“... Kaito I don’t think your in the right state of mind to make choices like that...” You offer some water to him, his eyes widen.

“Why... Why is everyone’s hair dyed- Like is it actually dyed? Or is it just natural- how can it be natural tho... unless... oh my god (S/O)... we’re in an anime I can’t believe it.”

“Kaito I think you need an second...”

“No. No I know what I’m sayin- oh my god we’re the main characters in some weird anime (S/O)... that’s the only explanation,,, I have to tell... Tsumugi but my legs won’t work nn nn n n..”

... You just pat his head, Kaito grimaces... he was absolutely wasted so everything he said held no inch of truth in it, you just hoped that soon enough your efforts to help him better bare fruit... So he doesn’t make anymore odd claims like him and his friends are in some “weird anime”!

Rantaro Amami (Immune System Of God)

Rantaro... wasn’t a drinker... well besides those really fancy drinks that he usually saw when you both got out, those always looked like a magical experience to try out so he usually did buy those but... he’s never actually gotten legitimately “drunk”, it may be because he never drinks too much.

Then there was the time that had asked Rantaro if he had ever gotten in all words actually “drunk” he responded with a shrug: “I guess I do...? Uh, I’m usually in the right state of mind afterwards still... enough to walk...”

... This was a topic which needed much more exploration... so you went out to a bar together, you swore that anything he got was on you... he squinted but still he bought some colorful drinks in funny-looking cups, peering towards you while he did...

...

He wasn’t actually drunk even after drinking quite a bit, what is this man, how is his immune system keeping him awake? Rantaro chuckles... “Yeah, I think that’s enough for tonight.. come on let’s go home.”

You either failed or this task is just impossible, you take the hand he offers you and walk outside with him... the only noticeable effect are the times he almost bumps into the wall but other than that... nothing...

He knows how to hold his liquor...

Gonta Gokuhara (Clumsy Drunk)

This was Kokichi’s fault, that’s all you know... he offered something for Gonta, that’s what he told you when he gave you back a stumbling crying boyfriend.

“... How did you even get him to drink this- oh my god! Gonta- baby please go lay down on the couch...” You led Gonta to the couch to sit down, he sobbed loudly into the pillow almost falling off, you gave a harsh glare to the Supreme Leader who chuckled at your displeasure.

“I told him it was “Respect Women Juice! TM! Yeah he really just drank it without an inch of hesitance...! Then he fell over drunk, it was hilarious till I had to actually bring him here.”

Gonta let out another loud sob as he fell over off the couch onto the floor, crying about how “Gonta caaaan’t see...!!!”

“You... are one screwed up... mess of a person Kokichi Ouma...” Pushing Gonta back onto the couch you tried to reassure him everything was alright, Kokichi grinned at you putting both of his hands behind the of his head.

“Oh I know... I know really quite well! Good luck dealing with him!”

Kokichi left the two of you alone together, you just let Gonta cry against you about how everything felt so weird... offering some water and some hugs, you’ll get revenge at Kokichi for this... you swear to it.

Kokichi Ouma (Angry Drunk)

... How... Who the hell had enough of your boyfriend to go and make him chug down so much alchohol he got drunk, god knows, but he was now... here... and slurring about some criticisms you didn’t know he had...

“Like... (S/O) it’s so stupid... instead of like... liiiike... getting mad at me when I insult her she usually gets off on it... it’s so gross,,, like how horny can somebody be (S/O)? How HORNY can you be?”

“... Kokichi... do you need a...” Despite how you tried to chime in he always cut you off, with a half-awake grumble...

“No... No let me say this... Hiiiii... iii... so... so what the hell is with Kaito’s sense of logic....? I know, know for a fact he CAN be stupid enough to literally TRUST everybody he meets, like even if there’s hard proof that their an asshole he’s STILL by their side... what the FUCK.”

“Are you talking about Maki?”

“SHE LITERALLY CHOKED ME ONCE YES, Y ES I MEAN MAKI...!” Kokichi touches his neck, rubbing at it. “Honestly... Maki is such a damn... damn jerk... seriously... she’s made “do you want to die” her punchline to almost any jokes she makes, we get it, your edgy as hell!”

While Kokichi grumbled the both of you didn’t notice the door quietly open up... nor did you notice it until their footsteps were in the right range for you to notice them...

Maki trails into the room with an sweating Kaito Momota by her side, she held a card in her hand with the words: “sorry for making you chug beer” in a rather sloppy handwriting...

“... Makiroll, don’t do this...-“ The astronaut tried to stop the caregiver but it was too late, she was already sprinting towards Kokichi to land a finishing blow...!

“FINLAND!”

Like i heard you have a full time job for storyboarding, but this comics nobody pays for it and you just let everyone watch it freely. Maybe I just wanted to feel inspired by you cuz I kinda have a lot to study right now and I just don't do anything but roaming on internet

Iiiii honestly don’t know if I have a really satisfactory explanation for it?? I mean the fancomics I do for free because they are fanworks, trying to do them for regular payment would cause some legal troubles. But I do them because I do have fun making them, I really enjoy sequential storytelling, and that ties in well with me being a bit of a stubborn workaholic anyway...

But I do know studying can be hard, especially if you’re not feeling motivated to do it as much! You may have to find methods of studying that work out best for you. When I was in high school I used to doodle all over my notes, and oftentimes it’d be characters responding to or acting out whatever history or literature thing I was supposed to be studying, just because the act of drawing/moving my hands helped me to retain information better. So with studying, you may have to find a method that helps you retain information best: that might be watching something, listening to it, writing/drawing it down by hand, actually talking it out with someone else, applying it to something you are interested in, etc.

Sorry if this is too many questions (but its not just me, though its anon so you can't tell). Jeu having a lot of money and resources in Egypt was important to the old plot. I had thought she was being financially supported by Pegasus, who bought influence (and the apartments) in Egypt due to his many travels there, but if he's dead and she didn't inherit, did Jeu buy it/already own it? I mean Cyndia's family was probably also rich, but were they that rich? Or will the apartment bit change too?

But yeah, I’m currently trying to wrap up the rewrite of what was chapter 3, and I’ll probably be recombing through the money/influence details a little more for chapter 4 and 6-7. 

But, I got kind of three different explanations: Pegasus financed the apartments themselves in a one payment upfront sort of way (since Jeu requested the move to Egypt and this was sort of Pegasus’s write off of her), Jeu’s Egypt resources are more from networking than direct money out of her own pocket, AND her family was definitely rich.

Not Pegasus rich, mind you, but Pegasus seemed like he was MICROSOFT rich or something. Guy owned an island, after all, and seemed very 1% before Duel Monsters. But his dad owned casinos and Cyndia’s dad was presumably on par with him. If Jeu inherited all of that, then sold off at least most of the family’s American businesses/property, and had a good stock situation of income coming in, Iiiii think she could manage quite a bit all on her own– at least, as far as covering the monthly bills and living with dime to spare for an long period.
