I've had this blog for about two years and only just realized I never like actually introduced myself.

So hi! I go by Issy or Iutb and use any/all pronouns!

I've been posting fanfiction to Ao3 for over four years, though I like to think I'm a better writer now than I was back in high school. I draw on occasion, and I've been trying lately to get into oil painting and watercolor. I like to listen to music (folk, rock, and classical) and play minecraft (I've logged 60+hours just in the last two weeks).

My Hero Academia - To be honest, I got so deep into this fandom that my versions of the characters are no longer connected to canon like at all.

“ Can I mention someone, even if they'd refuse ? ” Bakugo wouldn't ever agree to have some soba with him. Not to mention he'd be very loud and all Shoto wanted was to enjoy his favorite meal at peace. Bakugo was out of the list.

“ I wouldn't mind, really, ” he admitted. He didn't easily choose someone's company over his own unless he felt very close to that person. And in those last months, many people had entered his life. “ Maybe Midoriya or Iida. ” Those two were his closest friends and he almost always enjoyed their company. They never seemed to mind if Shoto remained silent in most of their conversations and when he chose to participate, they were interested to listen to him. They made him feel comfortable so they were the ones he had in mind.

For most of her life, Midoriya Izumi has been bullied. If it's not due to her Quirk status it was due to her fascination for retro movies that developed into a love for the aesthetic of 1950s America. Even after moving away from her toxic environment at age ten, she hides her love for it from her immediate outside world. Instead, she runs a HeroTube channel where she tries retro recipes, bakes cakes in honour of heroes and rants about them. She still dreams of being a hero, but fears people finding out her other passion.

There are ships I’ve written a long time ago that I don’t anymore ( either because the other mun deactivated or we stopped interacting for some reason ) and I’m still dying to write because I hadn’t enough of it or want more, like Shoto and Iida, or Hannah and Castiel. But ships I haven’t written at all and want to write are Onyankopon and Levi, and maybe Shoto and Inasa.

But I really like the potential between Onyankopon and Levi, even though we’ve seen very little of the two of them and it’s a ship that has zero (0) popularity. Seeing the last panel of Levi in the manga and Onyankopon with him was the only trigger I needed to like the two of them. Like, you can’t change my mind: They live together in Marley ( and Onyankopon looks after Levi ( my cute war veteran baby ) ).

I also really like the relationship between Inasa and Shoto ( from hating each other to cheering each other on ( by ‘each other’ I mean Inasa mostly but you know what I mean ). There's a lot of development between the two of them and so much more we could have seen ( Inasa finding out about Endeavor abusing Shoto, Dabi being Toya etc. ). They are two opposites and Inasa is really trying to befriend Shoto. I think it's a very cute ship, that has a lot of potential. I mean, they are opposites ( the quiet and loud one ), how can it not be interesting?

“Todoroki-kun! Good afternoon! I would ask how you think you did on our test but you’re hardly one of the classmates I need to worry about when it comes to your academics.” Chipper as ever- perhaps even a tad more than usual- Tenya was all smiles as he greeted his friend.

“I just got off the phone with my big brother. His recovery has been going very smoothly and he was asking about my recent achievements. He says I’m making him proud as his little brother but I can’t help but think about how I’m very proud of him as well! How can I not be?” Tenya went on fondly, perking up slightly as a thought crossed his mind.

“That I’m aware of, you are the only one of your siblings who has chosen to follow the path of becoming a pro hero, right? Do you talk to your siblings often? No doubt they must feel pride in their brother’s achievements as well.”

Iida was someone to always speak his mind. Sometimes, without knowing, he'd make those around him feel uncomfortable and for Shoto, this had happened quite a few times already. In reality, they weren't any different, only that Shoto tended to be more quiet. The other wasn't one to pry into people's personal lives. This was simply the level of closeness they shared, of their friendship, where sharing ones feelings was a normalcy. A normalcy he was still trying to get used to. “ I'm happy for your brother, Iida. ” Midoriya knew enough about his family not to ask of such matters, and when others were around, to change the subject of the conversation. Now that he wasn't there, Shoto was left alone, struggling to come up with a proper answer. One that wouldn't raise any more questions, or make his classmate worry. After all, he was past the self that'd make those around him worry. The self to have made Midoriya worry and forced to intervene.

The truth was, he never had wondered such a thing. What his siblings felt about him wanting to become a hero. What his mother's feelings were, would torture him from the very beginning, yet for his siblings, he never asked. Probably because he didn't want them to have an opinion on his choices. Lead their lives separately from his own, where they wouldn't need to be concerned with his troubles, where they wouldn't have to worry. For many years he avoided to become a part of their lives, and now that he was, he still had a long way to cover to become their family. For blood not to be the only to bind them together. “ More often recently, than before, ” he admitted. Even after moving to the U.A. dorms, he'd get to spend more time with them on his days off. “ Fuyumi always seemed to cheer me on. ” As for Natsuo, he always failed to understand what he felt other than rage towards their father and melancholy over what they had lost over the years.
