Here's another great #artdocumentary on Art Nouveau. It's the 1st part of the doc I posted yesterday. Sadly youtube isn't very organized or I'd have watched this first. Anywho... this is just as awesome. It's very well-informed and doesn't just focus on one artist or style ( #Mucha ). It covers #AlphonseMucha of course but it also discusses #Guimard who designed the amazing Metropolitain train station entrances. They also cover jewelry design ( #Lalique ) and glass making. Learn something! Watch this! Stop watching Star Wars or Finding Nemo. Stop trying to rip off contemporary artists and doing stupid mash-ups of Robocop and Jurassic Park and Little Mermaid! Get a life by learning some useful art history.
