Great evening at the annual Gather Gala, benefiting the @igrowchicago peace house and its beautiful community. Money was raised, jobs and supplies were funded, room to grow was achieved, plans for playgrounds were made, and people came together and invested dollars in people and community (and then danced in celebration of a milestone achieved) ✨🙏✨ https://ift.tt/2CQdjz7

Last night’s #gathergala for the bright light that is @igrowchicago. Community leaders were so lovingly honored by other community members, and serious money was raised (final count still to be announced) by attendees from communities around the city! Also: Bucket Boys brought it! Poems were read! Tiny angels danced! Flower seeds and buttons and stickers were shared! I had the joy of serving as emcee, brought a dude onstage so he could propose to his gf in front of everyone, and the whole night was lovely. I stayed until past the end and selfie’d and photobooth’d with some of my favorite people, the woman who made me a better yogini and the man who co-directs @igrowchicago and all its impact, both of whom I describe as hearts in human form. ✨❤️✨ http://ift.tt/2hJgwHO
