He looked over at her, turning his body instead of just his head. "Yeah," he said a boyish grin appearing, "it's still new to me. You know just being in love." He had never truly loved a girlfriend of his before, at least not as much as he loved Alina, so it was nice and still strange to hear and say out loud. But he'd never get tired of either. "This is definitely real and I definitely love you," he reassured her, placing his other hand over their linked hands. "Maybe after this, we find a quiet spot for us," he said with a wink. @alinaceyhan

She sat up a little and laughed. "You? I'm the one who felt it for so long. My head is still getting around the fact that you love me and don't see me as just your friend anymore." She paused and ran her thumb along his skin. "Some days I think I'm going to wake up and this is just going to be a dream." Alina admitted to him as she looked into his eyes. "That I'll be back at the cabin at the camp and it was nothing more than a heat of the summer dream." @enriquemarrero

Seeing her grin, made him grin again. Her smile was one of his favorite things about her, other than everything else essentially. But he jist loved her smile and her laugh too. "I don't think I'll ever get used that, hearing you say it," he said, as he was so in love with her, it still baffled him that it took him so long to realize it. "Me neither." @alinaceyhan

Her heart swelled as he spoke to her and he grinned happily while leaning into him. "I love you too." She told him. Alina was glad he was having a good time and even if the hay was poking him, he didn't seem to care as long as he was with her. She felt the same way, of course. How could she not? "I don't want anything to ruin our time together." @enriquemarrero

He wwinced as he felt a poke, but laughed it off before wrapping an arm around her shoulder. "Oh yeah, thankfully," he said with a chuckle and he was glad he chose to wear jeans. At least jeans were a bit thicker and definitely helped. "Oh of course I am, I could be reading the dictionary but as long as I'm with you, that's all that matters." He nodded, leaning in to kiss her cheek. "I love you so much, and where you are, is where I know I'll have a good time." @alinaceyhan

She laughed a little bit as she shifted. "It's not. At least we're not wearing shorts or something." She pointed out and gripped his hand. "Maybe they could put a blanket down or something. But, I also think this is part of the experience. It's still fun, right?" She asked curiously, her eyes shining and staring at him hopefully. All Alina wanted was for him to be having a good time. @enriquemarrero

As he jogged along, Ricky had never set out to get this far. He just figured he'd go as far as he could and then call it quits when his body, mainly his legs started to protest. But he was on mile five when he heard a familiar voice call out to him, slowing down his pace as he looked behind him, he came to a stop and walked back to meet the man. "Hola senor," he said with a smile, reaching out for a handshake, greeting the other as he had done since they had first met years ago. "Sure, absolutely. How are you feeling?" He asked the other as he settled into a pace besides Santiago, a welcomed one compared to his jogging. "You're not slow! It's all good." @santiagoxpierce

His stamina wasn't what it used to be, but he was determined to finish the five miles. Originally he'd have gone for the ten mile run, yet now he was more than halfway over the five mile walk, keeping a close eye on his watch that kept up with his heart rate. He looked up when someone caught up and passed him by, recognising it to be Ricky. "Hola niño. Care to keep me company?" He asked him, taking a swig from his water bottle. "Makes me feel less slow." @enriquemarrero

"Awesome," he replied with a gentle squeeze of her hand, wanting to be as close to her as he could. Plus with the chill in the air, what better way to warm up then to snuggle with one's significant other. "Sweet," He said and allowed her to go first, before following her and sitting down next to her. "It is! Though hay is really not that comfortable," he said with a laugh, looking down and seeing it poking him from different angles. "You'd think they'd come up with better ways to stop it from poking you after all these years." @alinaceyhan

"I'd love that." It was all so perfect for them. Any time hey got to spend together was. It was always the happiest she ever felt and she was just wanted it to last forever. "It's our turn." She said as she hoped up onto the hay and sat down; waiting for him to join her side and she cuddled up next to him. "This is going to be so much fun." @enriquemarrero

"Absolutely," he grinned right back as it really was. Getting to share the experience with someone just made it so much better. Ever since they started dating, he felt weightless, like he was on cloud nine. Even at work he didn't let the small things get to him nor did anything really. He just felt so much more open and relaxed and happy. "Sure, maybe grab some apple cider or some food?" @alinaceyhan

She grinned up at him as he took her hand up and kissed it. "Definitely better." She agreed and gave his hand a soft squeeze as it went back down to their sides. Everything had seemed better over the last several months they had been together. She felt as if the sun was shining a little brighter and her life was filled with more colors. Maybe that was silly, but it was how Alina saw things. "After this, do we want to head into town and check out the rest of the festival?" @enriquemarrero

"Congratulations by the way," Ricky said as he met up with Isla by the food stalls to sit down and catch up a bit. He grinned at her as his eyes instantly went to the ring on her finger, the sun hitting it and sending bright sparkles all around it. "Feels like it's been ages since we caught up! But I'm glad we finally both had time to do so." He said as they walked along checking out what food there was to eat.

Ricky was excited for the Festival as he always enjoyed getting out and experiencing all the events, tasting the food, and playing the games. But this year was different, it was the first time in a very long that he had a girlfriends to experience it all with. It was both fun and romantic, at least to him anyway. Following her to get in line for the hayride, he chuckled before nodding, holding her hand as they waited. "I am! I mean I always have liked hayride, but this year it'll be even better." He said and brought her hand up to his lips, pressing a gentle kiss to them. @alinaceyhan

While spring was Alina's favorite season, she did have a love for fall and all fall related things. Carving pumpkins, apple cider, and hayrides were always things she found herself doing during this time of year. And now that she had someone to do it with her, she was excited to have Ricky by her side. So, of course, the first thing she wanted to do was go on the hayride and she dragged him to get in line. "Aren't you excited? I'm excited. First hayride of the season."

"Okay, and you're the best you know that, and I don't mean just with pizza. But like with everything too." He nodded with a smile, compromising was such a good skill to have and even as with something simple like pizza, it went a long way. Kissing her back he smile before feeling his phone buzz, "sorry," he replied and check his phone, his lips frowning. "Damn. I gotta go help my mom with something at her place. Something about a broken window or something. I'm really sorry." He said and turned to Alone, reaching out to careers her cheek. "But rain check?" He asked before giving her a kiss again. Figuring at least they were already in front of her apartment so she just had to go upstairs. "I'll text you later I promise." @alinaceyhan

"We'll still do half without it just in case you don't like it. Or we can do half my favorite and half yours? Try each other's favorites?" She suggested to him with a smile; thinking that could be a wonderful compromise even though Ricky didn't seem to care what kind of pizza they got. "Exactly." She said and smiled before leaning in and giving him a kiss back. "Can't forget that." Alina kissed him again before sitting back. "So, your place then? And then get the pizza?" @enriquemarrero

He put the car in park and turned to her, shutting the enge off so his car wasn't idling. He always liked to make sure to remember her favorites, from the most important to the most miniscule of things. Scrunching his nose up as he chuckled, "Hm I don't know," he said with a playful shrug as he unbuckled his seat belt. Nodding, "yeah. Never had a reason to but now I do. And I trust you so I'll have to try it," his eyes following her. "True, won't have to worry about him third wheeling," he teased but in all honesty he felt bad about Tyler and his break up and also didn't want to necessarily flaunt his own relationship in front of his best friend. "Sure, but first," he said with a smile before leaning over and giving her a soft kiss. @alinaceyhan

She smiled at him and loved that he was making a mental note of her go to show as she would do to him about anything he said he liked. "You always have the best ideas." She laughed a little and unbuckled before looking over at Ricky. "Really? It's amazing. I promise." For a moment, she glanced up at her apartment and then looked back at her boyfriend. "We could. Then we wouldn't have to worry about if Tyler comes home." She sat back in the seat. "Should we go to yours, then? And get some stuff of yours?" @enriquemarrero

Ricky smiled as he drove, making a mental note about the Simpsons, "good to know." He said with a nod and a smile, pulling into a spot by her place. "I figure grabbing some stuff of yours first before getting the food would be best so it's nice and hot when we get to my place." He replied before adding, "I've never actually had pineapple on pizza," he shrugged with a chuckle. "Unless you wanna stay at your place for the night? I'm good either way. As long as I'm with you." @alinaceyhan

She nodded. "They are. I still watch them. I'll put them up as background noise at night sometimes." It was nice just to have sound and The Simpsons could be comforting. She absentmindedly rubbed his hand as he drove and laughed a little. "We can always do it on half if you don't want it." It was just her favorite pizza topping. Her eyes moved over to him and her smile increased a little. "Yeah. I'd love that." @enriquemarrero

"Oh not all, the Simpsons are unmatched by far." He said with a chuckle as the light turned green and he drove along, smiling to himself as he felt her hand on his. He didn't look over as he drove for obvious reasons but he wanted to, to steal a glance at her because she was so gorgeous. "Sweet," and then shaking his head with a chuckle, "the things I do for love," he teased. "Also if you want, you can stay the night. We can pick up some clothes on the way." @alinaceyhan

"Well, no one can do that like The Simpsons." She laughed with him. Alina's heart skipped a beat as he rested his hand on her knew and she moved hers to place on top of his. The way he could always get her heart skipping several beats would always amaze her. "Yeah. That sounds like the perfect night." She paused. "As long as I can get pineapple on the pizza." @enriquemarrero

"Oh nice," he said with a smile, "yeah he seems like it from what I've experienced with him." Nodding along as most of the teachers around town were also just nice people in general. "That's cool though, that he teaches your niece and nephew. Wish I had a niece or nephew." He laughed and shook his head, "I'm tired of making choices, you pick dude!" @orionxblakewood

"He is....a really...cool guy.....friendly," he replied with a smile. "I met him....when I went with my uncle....to meet my niece and...nephew teachers," he added happy that Ricky also thought that Lance was a nice guy which just confirmed his vibe. "How...about...you pick the...place?" @enriquemarrero

Ricky noticed Tyler getting quiet and wondered what was running through his mind. Ricky took a bite and wiped his mouth with a napkin as he saw Tyler poke his food. Nodding about work being busy, he didn't say anything, not wanting to push his friend to share if he didn't want him to. Ricky's cheeks blushed after admitting he told Alina that he loved her, nodding as he took a sip of a beer. "Yeah. She had a box in her office at the school and it was a bunch of costumes that ended up there by accident. And she came to my classroom as I was setting up and started dancing and like joking around so I joined her and I let it slip." He paused to take a breath as he felt like maybe he was rambling, "but like it just felt right." His cheeks were rosy pink and they hurt from his wide grin. "Harbor seals are awesome dude. Did you get to see him?" He asked, sounding like a little child asking about their favorite superhero. @tylerxday

It was hard Tyler was taking the break up pretty hard, blaming himself for not making it work. He still loved her, part of him thought he always would. "It's a busy time," he said as he was poking at his food. He did try to get something good and not good for you to try and help his mood. He was taking a bite but nearly choked after hearing what Ricky said. "What?" he said as he was covering his mouth for a moment. "That's... not nothing major," he said, sitting down his fork. He looked at Ricky for a moment and shrugged at the question. "Same old, same old aquarium... " he sighed. "We got a harbor seal in who was sick but he's getting better..." @enriquemarrero

Sliding into the driver's seat, he turned over the engine and glanced at her before peeling out of the spot. "Twenty one? Geez," he shook his head as he drove out of the lot and onto the road, "except without the random predictions I'm guessing." He chuckled reaching his right hand over to rest against her knee, while keeping his left hand on the wheel. "Hm maybe pick up some pizza and then watch a movie at my place?? He replied turning to her as they stopped at a red light. @alinaceyhan

She got in the car and smirked over at him. "I think they're starting season twenty-one. It's going to be like the Simpsons before you know it." It was crazy to think about, but it seemed to be one of those shows that was weirdly going to last forever. Alina buckled up and relaxed back in the seat. "I am. What are you thinking of for food?" Her gaze went over to her boyfriend. @enriquemarrero
