Instagram is not available as official in the BlackBerry World. Some developers decided to release their own application you have for free or with a paid version include all features and some more that Instagram doesn’t offer. iGrann and iGrann Pro are one of them.

Instagram is a social network dedicated to publish your photos. You can filter them, you can add a legend and tag some users on it. You have also private messages available on it. When BlackBerry 10 was launched, we all hoped we’ll have the official application but it didn’t. So some independant developers like Adrian Sacchi or Nemory Studios decided to develop their own Third application to BlackBerry Users.

iGrann and Inst10 offer some more options Instagram doesn’t offer: Repost and Download for example. If you want to repost a photo, you need a second application because this option is not include in the Instagram official application.

Instagram received many new updates these last days, especially because of DM, alias Private messages. It’s because these new versions are not stabled, that you can have some bugs on Inst10 and iGrann. When all will be good, Nemory and Adrian will stabilize their application.

New iGrann & iGrann Pro changelog:

Instagram modified the way they manage DMs. We are currently integrating these changes into iGrann. In the meantime that feature is removed from the free version for now!

iGrann exists in two versions: a paid and free ones. I’ve already explained what differences you have between them but note today they received an important update you can download now in the BlackBerry World.

iGrann applications are the most downloaded applications dedicated to instagram for BlackBerry. Instagram never released their official application in the Canadian store and BlackBerry users are lucky to have some amazing developers to give them the possibility to use some services not available as official for their device. iGrann are native applications developed by Adrian Sacchi.
