and if you're ever too cold at night, unable to warm yourself up, he's there as your own personal heater, quick to wrap his arms around you, holding you close to him, sharing body heat

btw never let them make you forget that in the end, it's because of kota ibushi. kenny went to japan and truly kicked off his wrestling career there because of ibushi. they were called the golden lovers because ibushi's nickname is the golden star. the golden elite is also based on ibushi's nickname. if you erase the side of kenny's character that is so intrinsically built upon ibushi's presence in his life, you're erasing an essential part of what makes kenny so great in the first place.

hate to say it-- kinda love how this season was shot...

the interviews being shot like that is so incredibly funny, the jj breakdown scene/longshot is literally a cinematic masterpiece, hate to say it but the surrealism of the nighttime scenes being so badly set during "night" is kinda iconic to me, some of the hand-held moments, the zoomes-

this season is kinda fucked up (cough cough. *stares*) but tbh.... its definitely not my least favorite

I love fanfiction so much like there's so much stigma about fanfiction and how it's 'weird' but the people who call it weird don't know the power of saying "nuh uh" to a carefully crafted story of a series/show/movie.

if i had a nickel for every time i hyperfixated on a piece of media where the/a main character:

is not a singleton

has a missing parent who is an ADHD-coded amputee pilot who they thought was dead but was actually on a different celestial body and who is my favorite character

was raised by their uncle who doesn’t want them to follow their parent’s path

is frequently compared to the aforementioned parent

meets an emotionally broken old guy who they didn’t know was close to their missing parent and is emotionally broken because of it

then i would have two nickels. which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.
