The most unhinged post I'll ever make (tentacle hair theory)

I know the lower hair bits are probably just a style choice

And i know not every one with black hair is related (i don't count Ross, Jack, or (maybe) Frank as part of the family)

But the vaguely tentacle shaped hair (in a similar way to Skiddad) is a design detail that's way too specific

Like take one glance at the other characters and you don't really see this

Like Lila, but i think it's just she has really straight long hair, so she doesn't quite fit

Also i know a majority of the fandom isn't gonna like the Streber connection, but I'm just putting down what I'm seeing

Though i do have to note

Maybe the other times we see prominent tentacle hair bits means that some members of the family are part of the cult, and any time someones hair gets the bits when they previously, they've converted, or a family member converted

Like look at this

I know it's probably just his hair growing out, but still

Maybe the cult is why they're gone all the time, like they used to just be really busy, but then got involved in some way maybe

But Susie's front hair bits can't be ignored, and I'm including Pump, mainly because of the similar way i included Carmen

Like, Carmen and Roy have all the tentacle hair bits, and of course Richard as well

The only character that kinda throw this theory off is Ignacio

At first i thought mayor Evermore was a bust, but then i found this on the wiki

Not really the same kinda hair, but if i count Susie and Roy then i count this

But yeah, Ignacio does throw a wrench, because he's clearly part of the cult, but doesn't fit with my idea

OF COURSE ILL TALK ABOUT THEMMMMM had to ponder them a bit. came to the conclusion that theyd be frankenstein and his monster but Gay

ive said this before somewhere but streber being annoying was definitely one of the reasons rick quit his job at the hardware store, if not The reason. he just cornered him and yapped for hours about a simple mistake with the packaging labels. rick doesnt like anything and streber loves everything... but with enough time theyd realize theres a harmony in it. rick doesnt know when he began letting streber go on and on about machinery and math, hes even paying attention and enjoying it. starts asking questions about it too. of course streber never notices this but rick can admit at this point that he feels a lot calmer around streber

streber on the other hand Worries for rick. he worries so so much because rick keeps saying hes tired and unsatisfied and bored, and he doesnt want him to keep abandoning people and ignoring his problems. he'll help him even!!! please let him help him. please. please. please. rick just needs to ask... but streber cant say hes not grateful for the fact that rick couldve easily been bored or tired or frustrated by him, but he loves him enough to put up with it. he will put aside his need for constant pleasure because the presence of streber is enough to make him want to stay. hes just a fun little guy. i think this alone would help rick realize hes handling a lot of things wrong. he can deal with strebers enthusiasm and strange habits, he even wants to learn how strebers inventions around the house work so he doesnt like. blow up trying to work a coffee maker

feeling love is just so new to rick, it doesnt even click right away that hes already changing for the better because of streber. and on strebers end, hes not very good at picking up when rick is happy or mad or anything. not like rick is good at showing it anyways. so streber doesnt need a lot of reassurance, but because he really loves rick hes putting in the effort to "study" him and ask him how hes feeling and if streber needs to calm down when he talks too much (he doesnt need to. rick likes the background noise, it helps him put up with Difficult Tasks)

streber likes ricks voice a lot... very deep and soothing. he makes him read science articles to him until he falls asleep every night. and theyre really stupid and piss people off Together. you are cornered by two men. one will sigh loudly until you turn around and realize youre in his way because he doesnt feel like using his words. the other will go Ermm Excuse Me and poke you on the shoulder and point out in front of god and everyone that he needs to get past you. they are dating. also i think streber has four pet rats and they crawl all over rick who has to put up with it

The new spooky month episode was AMAZING!!!!

and I am here to now rant about it 😋

Spoilers if you haven't watched sm6 ☝️

To start things off. I love how they showed Radford more, and now he actually has more screentime. I remember adoring him when he first appeared on screen, and now that he had more screentime to show what kind of character he was just makes me love him even more 😭

Also, why the hell did theY MAKE THIS EPISODE SO GODDAMN DEPRESSING????? LIKE- JUST WHY?!

My jaw literally dropped when I saw blood all over the crematory (if that's what it's called) and just Dexter's mom's pendant laying on the ground (also, seeing Dexter's face just felt cursed for some reason-)

The scene where the devil (or whatever it is) turns into Dexter and literally starts manipulating the priest (is that what they call him?-) just made me scream, silently of course because my parents were sleeping. AND DEXTER'S MOM ALSO APPEARING MADE ME RIP MY HAIR OUTQUQIWKQK (not literally)

The scene where Skid and Pump walked 'normally' (aka got anatomically correct bodies) made me wheeze, highlight of the episode. Another highlight of the episode is when I saw Streber at the hospital desk, and yes we are gonna ignore me thinking that it was Streber's mom and not him, totally ignoring that.

And when the grandpa bought Pump the octopus toy- I just couldn't help but be overwhelmed by this sense of guilt, like how I always feel when my parents/grandparents/anyone buys me something to surprise me. Idk if that's just me but I rly did feel guilty seeing that receipt in the grandpa's back pocket :/

Like- he went all that way to the store to just buy a gift for his grandkid to not make him think that his parents don't care about him or don't want him.

Okay, to get a little out of the depression stuff, I started jumping up and down from excitement when I saw the hatzgang. I wonder what they were talking about tho 🤔 Roy seemed rly upset, and Robert and Ross were comforting him and telling him that they were there for him, which was rly sweet but now I'm curious and scared of what they were talking about 😔

I wish I could just crawl into the screen and hug Roy (I know damn well he would bully me if I existed in that universe, but we'll just ignore that 😋)

I was shocked when I saw Patty without her mask. I mean- u go girl, but your whole personality is that mask 🙄 (/j)

“Hi mom…” he said, smiling awkwardly in an orange jumpsuit. He tried to open his arms, but thought better of it, hearing the chains clink against one another. “Uhh… I’d give you a hug. But, doesn’t seem like I’m able to right now, heh…”

Dexter hummed from his hiding place, breathing out a cloud of cold air. He glanced down at his hand, and silver reflected in the eyes of his mask. “Well… guess we’ll just have to see, won’t we?”

There was rustling in the bushes, and Kevin tensed, holding an arm out in front of the children behind him. Susie held tightly onto Skid, who was frozen in place, staring into the bushes with wide eyes.

“Who’s there?!” the teen yelled, trying to ignore how high-pitched his voice was. The bushes rustled again, before a foot stepped out. Followed by an arm. Followed by a head, topped with short, thick brown curls. The trio all stopped, eyes widening as a little boy walked through, his clothes worn and ragged. There was a blank look in his eyes, his expression devoid of life, but there was no doubt about it.

“That’s not true!” Pump yelled back, surprising everyone even more. Kevin backed him up, firm in his words. “Exactly! None of this is your fault! He would have done it regardless! He’s an insane megalomaniac!”

There was a loud boom from the outside. Shaking the whole ship. The two pulled back, rushing out onto the deck.

“Captain!” Dexter shouted, turning around to face Lila as she gripped the steering wheel. “What’s going on?”

“We’re under attack!” she shouted back. She was turning the wheel, trying to dodge the incoming cannonballs, whistling through the air. Magnus looked in the direction they came from, and his eyes widened.

“It’s the Royal Navy!” Streber bellowed from up in the nest, gripping the rims tightly. Lila grunted, jerking the wheel just as the cannonballs crashed, narrowly missing the ship by centimeters. They splashed into the water, the resulting waves lurching the ship and causing the captain to fall.

Jaune whooped, jumping into the air with a laugh. “Ha! They missed!”

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, glad that it seemed to be over. Unfortunately, that was short-lived, as Streber suddenly screamed, “HIT THE DECK!”

“You’re horrible!” Skid screamed up at the figure, fists clenched tightly. The figure did not move or say anything as the young boy continued to rage at them, the clouds around them swirling dangerously. “You’ve done nothing but put us all in danger! Everything you’ve done has caused nothing but pain!”

The clouds around them swirled faster, nipping at his clothes and skin, whipping his hair around, but he didn’t care. He was too volatile, too angry to care. “You didn’t care about what your actions did! You didn’t care that you hurt them! You didn’t care that you’d hurt me! Was I just your scapegoat, to take the fall for you after you were gone?!”

His voice rose in volume, cutting through the clouds as he screamed, “I hate you, I hate you, I hate you!”

There was heavy footsteps coming out of the alleyway, and the Hatzgang flinched, whirling around. “We need to go!” Ross hissed, but Roy refused. He was tired of running away and being scared shitless by shadows. He glared into the alleyway, as if willing whatever was in there was going to come charging out, ignoring the way Ross and Robert kept trying to tug him away.

The footsteps continued, growing louder and louder, shaking the ground practically (or maybe that was just Ross and Robert shaking him), until the figure finally stepped out.

It wasn’t the strange man from earlier. It was that weirdo skeleton kid, standing there under the light. Smiling innocently at the group. Looking at him closely, Roy thought he could see… was that blood…?

“Oh! Kids, I got something for you,” Dexter said, grabbing the two’s attention. He dug through his pockets, grinning at their curiosity and the many questions that they threw his way, but shushed them. “Patience, patience. My pockets are kinda messy. Ah! Here they are.”

He took them out of his pocket, holding them behind his back as Skid and Pump tried to get a peek at them. His grin grew wider, before he brought his hand out and presented his present to them. “Tada! I saw you guys were interested in my keychain, so I got you guys one of your own!”

It was two keychains, similar to the one he had. For Pump, the iris was painted purple, while for Skid, the iris was painted orange. Skid and Pump took them, eyes wide. He laughed at their excited and awed expressions. “Well, do you guys like–?”

He was cut off when the two suddenly rushed him, arms wrapping around his stomach.

“Thank you so much, Uncle Dex!” Pump yelled, grinning. Skid nodded in agreement, hugging him tightly. “These are so spooky! We love them!”

Dexter stared at them, eyes wide. Then, he grinned, hugging them back just as tightly. Happiness swelled in his chest as he held them close, laughing. “Glad you like them, kiddos.”

Like a really weird one

Where pre-spooky month events/town kevin lived in the town where the movie took place (i dont remember what it was called)

And it goes a lot like the movie, kevin getting dragged along with zach and champ

But he gets scratched by the werewolf of fever swamp but thinks nothing of it

Years later he moved to spooky month town having learned to deal with the curse he had been given

Never tells anyone about the curse cause he has it pretty under control

Imagine his surprise when for whatever reason Stein is in town

Somehow, the book is lost (feel free to add in details) and the hatzgang find it

Roy being roy keeps the book away from stein and ignores him telling him not to open it

The town is in chaos and kevin is talking to streber and some of the hh gang who are visiting his work place when the bell rings

The group are making jokes about a prank someone is pulling on kevin with the doll thrown in when kevin gets a look at what they are talking about

Only to see a very familiar looking dummy

OH OH WAIT

In the context of antag Streber, where would he be in the seven deadly sins theming? My thoughts are either envy since he's dead, or pride in a pride before the fall way

I'd say wrath but I think Moloch has that covered already-

OH I wasn't really thinkin of this tbh,, But say he was made into a canonical antag then I can definitely see him being envy. As much as wrath would fit him I still stand by the idea that sin goes to Moloch

And even if we have no proper confirmation that Evermore will be a major antag I associate him with the sin of pride

So if Bob is Gluttony, Moloch is wrath, Evermore is Pride, the cult/Skidad is greed and Dexter is lust then that leaves sloth and envy. Ofc, envy is going to Streber. And I can see that fitting him better than wrath??

In the end, Streber envies his friends and everyone around him that's still 'normal'. I can only imagine how much he misses having friends, not to mention he had a promising life ahead of him. He's a talented man that had everything ruined for him in one night by one man because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Why him and not someone else? Why were his friends spared? Why was he ignored? Why was he left to die? Why did he have to come back as a monster? Like,, that just screams envy. He wants what he used to have and what everyone around him has.

Kevin wants so badly to keep calling John while talking to whoever it may be, but he doesn't want whoever it is to do anything more. So he temporarily hangs up. He then answers the door.

And guess who it is—FUCKING STREBER but he appears to be holding a box of pizza this time for some reason. Luckily, Kevin put a lock on the door earlier, so Streber can't force himself in. Even if he wanted to. The door is half open, but the two are both separated by the lock.

Kevin begins to anxiously talk to Streber. Streber casually explains in a friendly but equally nervous manner that he brought him some pizza since he wanted to do something nice for him. Kevin tries to tell Streber that he's already made dinner to make him go away. But Streber doesn't buy this, and the same cold tone returns once more.

Streber asks Kevin why he's lying. And when Kevin tries to deny it, Streber loudly yells "LIAR!". Streber then calmly proceeds to confess that he's basically been stalking him by reciting that a few days ago, Kevin had bought ramen at the store, and that he had been following him the whole time. Streber tells the now frightened Kevin ramen won't fill his stomach, so he then begins to pull on the lock, telling Kevin over and over again to let him in.

Kevin, out of his own fear, proceeds to scream and violently shuts the door. But the thing is—Strebers fingers are literally caught in the door. Kevin is too scared to really think logically though, so he keeps it shut, ignoring Strebers cries of pain. And eventually, Streber manages to get his fingers out of the door.

Kevin hears Strebers muffled cries of agony from outside the door, but he ignores it, and runs upstairs. He's intent on telling John what happened, so he goes to his bedroom and blocks the door with a nearby heavy object just incase Streber might somehow break in.

As Kevin calls John and frantically begs him to help him, he sees something outside the window.

It's Streber, just standing out there right outside his window. Over and over again, he is mouthing the words, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Kevin begins repeating those words once he realizes what he's saying, leaving John confused and concerned.

The next day, Kevin heads out for like a few minutes, but only to practice swinging his bat again.

But then, Ethan drops by. Ethan tries to do casual conversation, but it's clear he needs something, so Kevin asks him what he needs. Ethan then sternly tells Kevin to stop swinging the bat. Kevin asks why, but Ethan gives no direct answer. Kevin begins to finally let his anger and fear out, and proceeds to literally cry while finally confronting Ethan. Ethan appears confused, and even a little startled. Kevin doesn't even let Ethan speak though, and ends the conversation abruptly and then tries to go back to his house.

As he does though, he hears Ethan muttering something under his breath. He hears Ethan muttering over and over that he's going to literally kill John. This understandably scares Kevin and he heads back in.

The next day, Kevin is hesitant about heading out, but decides to because he needs more food anyway. So he hesitantly goes shopping, but carries his baseball bat around just incase. As he leaves though, he feels that someone is following him. Out of fear, he goes to hide behind the nearest tree. And then, he sees who it is.

It's Streber, carrying a shovel for no apparent reason. But Kevin can only assume it isn't a good reason. Streber has a cold and ominous sadistic expression, and is literally calling out to Kevin like a serial killer.

And then, somehow, Streber finds Kevin. Kevin, frightened, asks him what he's doing. Streber calmly answers he's doing the same thing as he is—he's going back to his house. Kevin asks what the shovel is for, and Streber then asks what the bat is for. Kevin answers nervously that he's practicing his swing, and Streber calmly answers, "Then I lost something again near the construction site, and I have to dig it up."

With no questions asked, Kevin begins to run, and Streber starts laughing manically in a soft manner. Streber begins to slowly follow after Kevin as he runs away, and is somehow managing to be right behind him no matter where he is.

Kevin asks him why he's following him in a frantic manner. Streber answers, "Its because I'm walking home too, Kev. What else would it be?~". Kevin keeps running as Streber maniacally laughs from behind him, and he kinda has no choice but to go run on an alternative path. But Streber still follows him.

Kevin asks him why he's still following him. And Streber calmly says, "Because I need to talk to you, Kev~"
