Am forever haunted by the wasted potential that was Uraraka crying in Izuku's arms over Toga's death, and them having a beautiful heart to heart that could have ended in Uraraka telling Izuku to appreciate those people who are important to you, who've shaped the way you view the word, who you love and having Izuku flashback to Katsuki's lifeless body, before running into Katsuki's arms when the class showed up again.

it's the way Rise of Red follows the same thread of the other three movies and shows a distinction between niceness, friendliness, and kindness

Okay, I'm gonna say something, and I want you to hear me out. Okay? Okay.

Show Colin still has aspects of his book self, but because show Colin has been written into situations book Colin has not been in his issues of purpose has been thrusted forward earlier. In season 1 we are kind of told that Colin has been a flirt and we see it a little bit during ballroom scenes and the early part of his courtship with Marina. Then he finds out that someone he thought he had deep feelings for was using him and so he shrinks in on himself for a while, cautiously stepping back into the ton.

But what do we know from the books? Colin has the charm to get away with murder if he wants. Charm is a social talent, and of the three brothers, the one we see among society the most is Colin. I believe we have been shown some of this charm as well with his investigation of Jack Featherington, and a strong scene I see this in is when he takes the necklace Cressida is wearing. Smooth, calm words, makes her feel admired, with a sleight of hand. There's the charm working. I do think we will see more of this come season 3 when Colin starts playing by Penelope's rules of society.

Also, while Benedict has been changed up by the show between the two of them, I would still label Colin the charming Bridgerton. In the books, Benedict was just kind of there before his own book, so we really didn't know much beyond what the Bridgerton reputation was. All the siblings were considered popular, nice, and some of the highest catches among the ton. While Colin is the mischevious one as shown when he plays matchmaker with his siblings, allowing us to see more of his personality, Benedict was just kinda there. A background character who was lumped together with the other brothers. Which did play well in his own book as being seen as nothing more than part of the set. But for a TV show that has and demands a wider lens, they would need to give Benedict more.

So it seems they are leaning into the reputation of the Bridgertons for Benedict. But while Benedict has his charming moments, most of his story so far has been on his own little island, unattached. It doesn't involve the family much except for background movements such as Anthony's donation to the art school. Benedict usually has to be found, too, while we see Colin around his mother and sisters more. And yes, while Benedict does have a better relationship with Eloise in the show, I think that more has to do with the show pairing up the siblings based on birth order. We saw the same thing with Anthony and Daphne, and I'll think we'll see it with Colin and Francesca, too.

I think what has a lot of people seeing Colin's personality in Benedict is fandom bias. Yes, the brothers do share some traits, but because Benedict is a fandom favorite, he's the one who gets assigned those traits. Kind of reminds me of boy bands where they're all similar, but people will assign them as the cute one, the smart one, etc. An example of this for Benedict and Colin would be the opium tea. It's Colin's tea. He's the one who brought it home from Greece, introduced to Benedict. Yes, we see Benedict get high off his ass on it, which is probably why he's associated with it more meanwhile Colin, who's had the thing for a while now, knows how to use it responsibly.

This is just my thoughts, though. It will be interesting when we go in depth with Colin and Benedict later. We'll be seeing them through their eyes instead of the eyes of their siblings. I believe we'll start seeing differences in their personalities.

Thinking about Felix,,,and how his story cam actually fit accurately in Veilguard/dragon age

Like, Lizzy being an elf and becomes infected with blight, and Felix accidentally summons one of the elven Gods (the one of death maybe?) And since they'd technically be saving one of their own (and elf) they accept Felix's pleads but, they turn him immortal as some kind of sick joke

Also Solas being pissssed when he meets Felix bc/ that's the bitch that has "stolen" the elves immortality (he didn't, Solas just wants to blame someone)

ALSO- now I'm at a standstill if Emmrich would ascend to Lichdom so that he and Felix could be immortal lovers OR Emmrich sees how immortality will not cure him of his fear of death but rather just shift the goal to the fear of loosing everyone he loves (Aka: Exactly what Felix has been experiencing for the last two centuries) so,,,,fast forward 60 years and it's just Manfred and Felix,,,because angst

God, Izuku's hero nerdiness + his obsession with Katsuki is the dumbest, most entertaining thing to me. Like, yeah, Katsuki would give him aux and a Dynamight fan song would 100% be on Izuku's playlist. Yes, Izuku would stand in a line for 3 hours to get the first Dynamight figure to launch even if Katsuki already demanded his merch team put one aside for Izuku. You know, when I read that Anthony lives to his 90s, I just thought it was pure irony.

Anthony has always thought himself a shadow of Edmund to the point he couldn't see himself outliving his father. But with this information, to me, at least, it is very likely Anthony became the Violet in this scenario Even if we take kathony's 9 years of age difference in the books, it would still put Kate in her 80s, and honestly, I think Anthony is outliving Kate.

Now, in ways, kathony is different from Edmund and Violet in the sense that they have more time. Edmund and Violet did everything young, some say too young, from getting married to having kids. Edmund was only in his 30s when he was unexpectedly taken. Anthony and Kate did things a little bit later. Anthony married at 29, going on 30, and Kate was on the verge of spinsterhood or was already declared a spinster. Edmund and Violet had their last kid at 39 and 37. Meanwhile, Anthony and Kate had their last child at 46 and 37, respectively.

This longer sense of time, I think, is gonna expand into their time together, too. They'll be that old couple that loves one another, but they can start an argument just by looking at each other. I don't think either of their deaths will be all that shocking like Edmund's. I think Kate is gonna pass from old age first, and even though it's something Anthony has been expecting, it's still gonna hurt becoming a widower. Anthony will mourn and he'll continue to live his life until he also passes from old age.
