HIII OH MY GOD im sorry for sending another one but i was just in the bathroom cleaning up and an idea fucking struck me. (yeah, bright ideas always hit me while i shower)

im thoroughly convinced that zandik, at some point, genuinely believed that you didn't love him. it was probably a year into your relationship after hitting on him for too long in the akademiya.

then, zandik got his hands on a book about manipulation tactics and shit, and he read a portion about pretending to be nice and loving just to gain something from him.

and hence him kicking you out and screaming profanities at you, saying that you don't truly love him. yeah, i know, brash decision by zandik. his older self truly regrets it and doesn't know what he would do in his life if you weren't persistent enough to keep reaching out to him. but to younger zandik, it just made sense.

how could someone like you could ever love him? he knows that sometimes you think he's going a bit too far with his experiments, you call him crazy (in an adoring way ofc), you sometimes look at him in fear as well. you have to be pretending, it just can't be. he has spent all his life unloved, outcasted, hated and feared- he can't comprehend such a wonderful thing such as love would ever be something he'd truly experience, deserve.

zandik stood his ground with his decision, glaring at the wall as you knock on the door repeatedly, asking what was wrong. then when he hears you curse under your breath, sounding mad, his heart fucking breaks.

and it just sinks in that he did something incredibly stupid and probably hurt your feelings for acting out. he's just so not used to being loved, and even if a year has passed, he still can't wrap his head around it.

really, you only got mad from the other side of the door is because your groupmates saw you and began walking towards you after you escaped to hang out with zandik...

dw you make up eventually if you're determined enough to prove that you genuinely love him!! (i mean cmon, it's not that hard. just point out that you literally cook him, wrestle him from his desk and onto his bed to sleep, go on illegal expeditions with him and all you wanted from him was kisses, hugs and affirmations of his love for you)

IM LITERALLY COMBUSTING FROM THIS BECAUSE IT'S LITERALLY SO TRUE AND I LOVEEE THE WAY YOU DESCRIBED IT,, WHY HAVE U DONE THIS TO ME.

I'm thoroughly convinced that as well, and from his perspective it makes sense considering he went his whole life without receiving any kind of genuine love (which he grew not to care about anyway) and any kind of sweet words directed at him would usually have some kind of ulterior motive or to get on his good side... He's a very cynical person and even after a while the whole situation just baffles him. Not to mention sometimes Zandik himself has trouble understanding that he truly loves someone else and that this isn't just one big lie... it's hard for him to process it all.

Ugh you just know he'll be researching relationships and shit just so he can justify thinking this way and then he gets to a portion to be wary of your partner possibly being fake and manipulating you. And then he just goes haywire on you and you're just like "wtf are you even talking about" and Zandik's literally just going off on you without letting you get in a word. (I bet the clones cringe whenever they remember this moment too 💀 just bring up this moment in an argument and dramatically walk away and he'll feel a bit bad which is more than he should be capable of)

Zandik tries his best to ignore your heartbroken and confused expression - surely you must be faking it, he thinks as he slams the door in your face. This just must be one of your games again, and now that you've been called out you don't know what to do, he tries to convince himself. Your frantic knocks were just a scheme to play with whatever heart he had left. Because in no world, no universe, would you ever love someone like him. He knows he shouldn't be considered human anymore, he's a monster, and surely you see that too. The one who had been with him for ages, the closest one to him. Zandik doesn't understand - you have nothing to gain from being with him. It was 99% an act. Yes, 99%, because he was secretly clinging onto the 1% chance it was real.

And the 1% chance beat all odds when he heard how genuinely pissed and upset you were from behind the door, which was both a fortunate and unfortunate thing - the former because he knew you really loved him, the latter because even he realized that he fucked up big time. But Archons Zandik, out of all possible times, you had to do this when it was the time you were trying to avoid your annoying classmates 😔

On a more angsty note, you might start cursing back at him about all the reasons you love him and why you stay with him and just end it with the fact you're going to be staying somewhere else now, and it's up to him if he wants to see you again, because you ain't doing this again without some kind of apology. A few days later you come back with a whole fucking research paper about every little thing you've ever done for him and why you love him with a whole-ass explanation and just chuck it right at him and dip.

Thankfully present-day Dottore doesn't pull these kinds of stunts anymore and is much, much more secure and confident in the relationship (which is good cuz sometimes you wanted to slap him for being an idiot) Both of you are just glad you can look back on it and laugh (mostly you because Dottore hates thinking about the times he acted completely braindead)

Peter has been acting really weird lately. He barely visited you at night or checked up on you. You thought he was focusing on protecting the city.

But no. He’s been seeing someone else.

Gwen Stacy. Your childhood best friend.

You obviously didn’t know. Yet…

*at school*

You see Peter talking to Gwen a lot. Oh great, they’re becoming friends! Right? you pushed those thoughts away when you walk up to Peter who was at his locker.

“Hey Pete!” You exclaimed. He replied bluntly and dry like as if you were texting. “hey.” He’s been acting like this for a month. Acting very dry, and bored.

“Uhm, so I was wondering if you would like to go somewhere with me today?” You asked. “Can’t.. sorry.” Peter closes his locker and he faces you. His face all bruised.

“Are you okay? Why didn’t you come to my window to get patched up?” You face changed from happy to worried.

“I’m fine babe, i patched up myself. I thought you were sleeping.” Peter lied. He was actually going to Gwen to get patched.

You were the only person that knew his secret. Well now your not the only one.

You go to your class and you see Peter and Gwen talking.

You pushed that one thought away and sat where you usually sit. The bell rang and class had started.

But still. You cant believe what you saw. You turned off the TV immediately and bursted out crying.

“hey- wait, are you okay?” Peter said. He kept on tapping on your window. You were so mad that you rushed to your window “fuck off.” You close your window and locked it. You closed the curtain and you sat on your bed. Staring at the closed window.

“What? Hey open your curtain! Hello?? Are you there??” Peter questioned. You didn’t want to hear him anymore. You got up and opened the door and slammed it shut while exiting your room. You made sure Peter heard it. You were crying so much. Good thing your parents weren’t home.

You knew it. He likes Gwen. He likes her more. The other woman. The other fucking woman. Your his side piece then.

*time skip to the next day*

You didn’t want to get up. You wanted to stay in your room forever. But you had to get up.

Once you got up, you opened your curtains. To see the sun blazing in your face. Such a beautiful sun but on a bad day. You got ready but didn’t even bother looking nice. Your boyfriend had eyes on someone else.

You plugged in your headphones onto your phone and you went to school.

*at school*

You were casually walking to your first class until you heard a familiar voice behind you.

“Hey! Wait!” It was Peter. You didn’t bother turning around.

He stepped in-front of you. You and him were facing each other now.

“Why did you close the window on me yesterday?”

“Why did you even bother coming?”

Peter notices how puffy your face was from crying all night but he decided to ignore it.

“What?” “Anyways im actually free today, do you wanna hang out?” Peter continued acting like he doesn’t know anything.

“No, I’m busy today.” You sarcastically said.

“But your always free.. why aren’t you today?”

“Why? Why? Because I don’t want to fucking see you!” You tried to walk past him but he grabs you arm.

“What? Why are you acting like this? Whats wrong?” Peter said.

You were so mad. He knew what’s wrong. He is lying.

“you know what you did. You didn’t even think of me? Huh?” You yank you arm out of his grasp.

You walked passed him and continued going to class.

He was confused for a second until it clicked in his head.

now, you are in class. Trying to push away the thoughts on what just happened. Trying so hard not to cry right now. The thing is, Peter is in your first period class. He sits diagonally behind you. A piece of paper bumped into your shoe. You picked it up and opened it.

“baby, please forgive me. It’s not what it looks like. Please please please! I’ll explain everything I promise. Just forgive me! :(”

You scoff. Ripped the paper into pieces and continued to listen to the teacher.

once class ended you dashed out the door. Not waiting for Peter. Why would you wait for him anyway? You’re so mad at him.

“Baby! Wait! Shit.” Peter was trying to catch up with you but you were too fast. It’s like you were running but you were just speed walking.

He eventually catch up with you and pulled you into a empty class room. “I’m sorry, babe please.”

“Now your talking to me? I’ve been trying to talk to you for weeks! All you have been doing is being dry all the damn time. And everytime I ask to go somewhere with you, you always say oh I’m busy!!”

“I’m sorry.”

“Is that all you gotta say? You’re fucking cheating on me with Gwen! My own best friend! Did you even think about me when you kissed her?”

“I did! I didn’t-“ you interrupted Peter.

“Save it Peter. You love her more. And I’m guessing you went to her when your hurt. So she knows who you are. I can’t believe this.” You said.

“Baby, I don’t love her more I love you!” He gets down on his knees and starts begging. Tears swelled up in his eyes but you felt no empathy.

“Please forgive me. Please I’ll make it up to you, I’ll take you out just please!” Peter begs.

You look down at him and you scoff. “Really? It’s been a month since you ditched me. That has hurt me enough.” You back up and you head towards the door. Before you leave you look over your shoulder. Peter is still on his knees but he’s looking down at the floor. “Whatever your saying is bullshit. Go back to Gwen because we are done.” You grab the door handle and left slamming the door again. Peter knows now that he really fucked up.

suddenly her streams are being flooded with hate comments about your relationship

you tried so hard not to give into their words but you could only take so much

eventually you were cancelling weekly dates and refusing to go out with her to replenish her snacks

you just didnt want anymore comments that validated all of your insecurities

and slowly you found yourself slipping, spiraling into a pool of self-hatred and insecurity

hana noticed, of course she did

she noticed your heavy gaze whenever you looked into the mirror

the dark circles around your eyes

how your skin was paler

it broke her heart.

The dim light from your phone illuminated the dark room. Hana cracked open the door, letting the hallway light stream in. Her brows furrow as she looks at your form underneath the thick duvet. You've been rotting in that bed for weeks, only ever coming out to use the bathroom or shower every few days.

"Jagi? I brought dinner..."

Hana holds a tray of some food that she ordered from a random Chinese restaurant as she enters the dim room. She kicks the door closed with her foot and places the tray on the nightstand. The small click of your phone and the darkness that encompasses are the only response she gets from you.

She walks a practiced path to the bed and sits on the edge.

"I'm worried about you, Y/N....Just..Talk to me, please. I'm always here for you."

Her voice sounds so...Heartbroken. Guilt floods your body and it feels cruel to just ignore her. You roll over and you reach out your hand to the shadow of her body - you come in contact with her wrist and you stroke it softly with her thumb. Hana's pulse soothes your nerves and you scooch a little closer to her.

"Can I turn the light on?"

Your head nods against her knee and she reaches over to flick on the warm light of the lamp. Hana's eyes soften as she looks at your poor state.

"Oh Jagi...Let me take care of you"

Hana leads you to the attached bathroom, she turns the faucet of the bath on to let the water warm up and - filling it with scented oils and soap. She helps you undress from the old pajamas and you take your place in the warm bath. Hana strips out of her own and settles onto your lap, cupping her hands, she pours some water onto your hair to get it ready for the shampoo. She dribbles the shampoo into her hands and works it through your hair, making sure to gently massage your scalp.

Little kisses are pressed against your cheek and jaw - usually it's you praising Hana but it feels nice to be the one being pampered.

Once she washes the shampoo out, she rubs some more of that scented oil into her hands and starts massaging your tense shoulders. You can feel the tension melting away and you lean your head back with a groan.

"I don't deserve you, bunny"

"Hey don't say that"

She stops and when you open your eyes, you're met with a pouting Hana. Her small hands cup your face as she stares into your eyes. This is the most serious you've seen her.

"You deserve all of me. Don't listen to those incels on social media, they're just jealous that you have me all to yourself."

You chuckle at her choice of words and her heart flutters seeing you smile for the first time in a while.

"You're my player two. And no one will ever beat me at mario kart like you do. You're irreplaceable"

You roll your eyes with a big grin at her unromantic words. Impulse takes over Hana and she lunges at you, smothering your face with kisses as she wraps her arms around your neck.

"I missed you so much Jagi!"

The water sloshes from both your squirming and you two burst out into a flurry of kisses and giggles.

• I personally find him to be a bit on the hotheaded and overconfident side.

• I mean, he tried to face off Vegeta, let alone settle some score with him without a doubt that he could beat him.

• (it could be that he can just easily contest with Vegeta, but I like the idea that these are two ego powerhouses, that have had a history of clashing with one another.)

• And speaking of ego, his is HUGE.

• However, he’s definitely more bark than bite. The moment he saw how powerful Vegeta really was, he was reduced to cowardice and desperation.

• You probably have to be that way anyways on the Frieza Force or you won’t make it, so I don’t entirely blame him if the whole tough, egotistical guy is some façade.

When he realizes he’s got it bad:

• Oh he’s a mess.

• I mean, he can probably pull just about anyone he wants because it isn’t anything serious. He’s still riding that ego of his cause he’s more in love with that image of himself than something real.

• But here you are, something so real, and something he finds himself to be falling much harder for.

• He probably doesn’t handle it too well. If you were friends he might just avoid you for a bit until you confront him about it. But, even then he would deny anything being wrong.

• But you know for a fact something’s up when he starts being distant or even a bit cold as opposed to his usual self around you.

• You may have to beat it out of him honestly. It’ll be hard and he won’t admit anything for a while.

• If he didn’t know you, he would try to. He’d do his usual routine when pursuing someone he was interested in, but it would just fail horribly and he’d get embarrassed, and probably just make himself look worse and worse the more he tried to cover it up, or play it off.

• Oh he will be such a pain to finally be out with what he’s holding back, that big head of his can only hold so many repressed emotions, but they will come out eventually, but knowing his type it probably won’t come out in a healthy non-toxic way.

• He knows he’s being cold, so he tries to shake himself out of it and invites you to go to a party with him, just hang out like old times.

• He was almost afraid you’d refuse to go with how he’s been acting towards you lately, but so happy when you accept.

• When you get there, you start drinking, dancing, chatting, or just chilling in a quieter corner to talk.

• He’s like his old self again finally, but you know something’s still up. However, you don’t want to possibly ruin this night by bringing it back up. You’re just happy he’s back to normal.

• He wasn’t the only one as Cui’s hand was increasingly clenching more and more around his drink. You eyeballed him a bit and were about to ask him if you two could just move to another spot and lose this guy, but the idiot grabbed your arm.

• And that was it for him.

• Remember when I said Cui’s feelings would probably only surface in an unhealthy, non-toxic way? Yeah, it definitely surfaces here.

• Jealousy, and pure anger.

• How dare this guy just ruin your fun? Your smile? Ignore your obvious disinterest, let alone touch you?

• When he put his hands on you all Cui saw was red, and his arm moved before his mind could as he shoved his drink right into the face of the guy before tackling him to the floor.

• “They told you to back off loser! Can’t you hear?!”

• You tried to pull Cui off of him but his mind was in another plane of existence at the moment, and you could not reach it.

• Some other people had to pull him off of the guy before throwing Cui out because they were sure he’d kill him.

• Once outside, he was slowly coming down from high as you tried to talk to him.

• He was back to that cold attitude as he refused to answer any questions you may have had, but oh boy you weren’t letting him for the hook now.

• He tried to walk away but you just stood right in front of him and demanded that he told you what the hell was going on and why he was acting like such an asshole.

• Silence. He doesn’t answer for a moment, but you can see that coldness to him fade away until you see something almost alien to Cui.

• Fear, he’s afraid. But of what?

• “Cui? What’s wrong?” You’re much softer with him, a softness he’s not use to, but it’s one of the things he loves the most about you.

• “I can’t tell you.” Is what he responded with, but when he saw that you were about to go back to your angry tone, which you had a right to, he rephrased.

• “I- don’t know how to. I’m- afraid to.”

• Now you were just worried. Cui? Admitting he was afraid? Something must terribly be wrong.

• “Cui, you can tell me anything. I’m not going to judge you. Look, I’m here for you, for whatever you need of me. If you’re in trouble I can help you.”

• Overall I think a relationship with him will be surprisingly tender, when it’s just those sweet moments when you two are alone. Alright lets be honest here first. When you two first met, Hitoshi made some small talk but other than that didn't really wanna converse with you. The crack energy was too much for him. He kept his distance with you but no matter where he went, it was like the universe decided to torment him 'cause he always seemed to bump into you.

Time skip to a more run ins and you talking his ear off, there you were, two best friends. The dynamic between you is basically, You: Crackhead, Hitoshi: tired of the crackhead.

He'll act all grumpy when you drag him somewhere to hang out but don't mind him, he loves hanging out with you. Hitoshi also loves the fact that you don't see his quirk as "evil" as many people do.

If you are a cat person, he is in heaven. It will be a sacred ritual to go to a cat cafe once a week. If you cancel on the plans, well get ready to receive the silent treatment.

The sassiness between you two is high on this one. Its like you'll be minding your own buisness and he'll just randomly go "can you not? Your existence is giving me a headache". Of course he doesn't mean it <3

You two are attached at the hip a lot of the times. And with that comes speculations from people if you two might be a couple. When someone actually asks if you two are dating, Hitoshi would be like "pfft why would I date this ?" and you're there just like "bitch🤚 no cat cafe meetings for a month" and he'll crumble like "NOOOO" .

You are the only being in existence who is allowed to touch his hair. If you ever want to style it, he'll make a offended face but nevertheless let you do it and he'll keep it if you say and glare at anyone who makes a joke of it.

You constanly scolding him about his sleep schedule like yours isn't fucked up as well. Hitoshi will call you randomly at like 3 am to tell you a cat fact. Most of the times, his training with Aizawa stresses him out so you drag him to have a self care routine. God forbid you sneak a picture of him with a face mask and cucumbers on, he will bury you alive.

He acts like he hates it and will groan everytime you tell him stupid ass jokes. Though sometimes he laughs like that one time you went " 'Toshi, 'Toshi" "what?" "Whats the difference between a lightbulb and a pregnant woman?" ".....what?" "......you can unscrew a lightbulb" and cue Hitoshi trying not to burst out cackling.

Friends don't judge each other, they judge other people together. This is a motto that you two go by. Ya'll be in a cafe or a park or just walking and you two would just judge other people together and roast them to hell. And Hitoshi acts all nonchalant but he is definitely interested when you come around and gossip about shit that just happened with other people.

The UA people didn't even know you existed until one day you decided to randomly pop up to embarrass Hitoshi. Its not that he avoided talking about you, its just that they never asked and he is a private person by nature so they just never knew about you.

Denki audibly, and dramatically, gasped when the usual stoic Shinso Hitoshi cracked a small smile on seeing you running at him full speed. The others were kinda surprised too when they saw how easily he conversed with you.

After that, your presence became more and more frequent around the group. One time Mineta tried to flirt with you disgustingly and after you quickly ignored him, Hitoshi dragged Mineta....somewhere. Nobody knew where Mineta was for two whole days, all while Hitoshi had a small smile on his face.

Hitoshi pretended to gag in disgust when one day you came to him rambling on about how lovely and adorable Midoriya is. He will however push you to talk to Izuku when the group is together 'cause he can see how much you like him.

So basically, being best friends with Shinso Hitoshi is definetely a whirlwind. He'll act all cool and stoic but with you its like his brain cells just die and you both radiate crackhead energy. And he'll always be there, supporting you, motivating you and being a shoulder to cry on.

And he will rarely say it but he is glad and feels lucky to have you as his friend.
