A Spoopy Ignoct Week!

For those of you who have been following us on twitter know, this year has been a bit of an unusual one. Considering the state of the world, we decided that the Ignoct fandom needs a little joy and what better way than to celebrate the love we all have for Ignis Scientia and Noctis Lucis Caelum! 

Because of this, we’ve decided to continue our yearly tradition with Ignoct Week, with a 2020 twist: Spoopy Edition!

Spoopy Ignoct Week will run from October 25th-October 31st, with November 1st acting as our catch-up day!

(And remember if you don’t like the prompts, you can still participate by either listing your fic/art/gifs as “free” without any problems. This event is to help get everyone’s creative juices flowing.

A separate post will be coming out this weekend with more info for our artists in regards to palette prompts, but trust me—it’ll be delicious (That’s a big, big hint!)

Ignoct New Years Gift Exchange 2020: Sign Ups Coming Soon!

What better way to ring in the new year than with the Ignoct community? Join us to celebrate the holidays with the King and his advisor!

Sign Ups are coming Sunday October 11, 2020

How it Works

Sign up for the Ignoct New Years Gift Exchange! Make your gift request and answer some questions about what you’re creating. Participants can not choose whether they receive art or fan fiction

On November 4, you will receive your gift request and recipient info. You have approximately 8 weeks to complete your gift!

Check in on December 4 to confirm you’ll be ready to share your gift during the posting period. Participants who complete their check in will receive a BONUS gift in their email on Christmas day!

Post your gift starting December 31 and receive your own completed request by January 10!

Gift Requirements

Remember, gifts must be 100% complete & posted on time!

Fan fiction – 1,200 word minimum

Multichapter fic must be 100% complete by January 10

Illustration – What you consider a complete, portfolio quality (or finished-art post worthy!) piece of work; Illustration size minimum 4in x 4in

Recommended canvas size for illustration is 4in x 6in (at 300dpi for digital)

Traditional media can be shared via a high-quality scan or photograph

The Ignoct Big Bang 2019: WRITER Sign Ups are OPEN! [Reblogs Appreciated]

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate! The Ignoct Big Bang is a chance for you to meet and interact with others in the community who love the King and his beloved adviser as much as you do.

Writers Schedule

      Writer Sign Ups OPEN  July 13th 2019

      Writer Sign Ups CLOSE  August 2nd

      Writer Check In  August 31st

      Writer Synopsis Due  September 14th

      Check In #2  October 18th - 20th

      Final Check In  November 29th - December 1st

      Posting Begins  January 1st 2020

This bang will feature two categories:

Mini Bang ------- Minimum of 5,000 words. No word count maximum. For those with limited time or nervous about meeting a higher word count! Big Bang ------- Minimum of 10,000 words and must contain multiple chapters. No word count maximum. For those looking for a challenge!

Both groups will follow the same schedule and will have roughly 20 weeks to complete their fics.

Fics must adhere to your selected categories minimum word count. All genres are welcome with appropriate tagging. An AO3 account is strongly encouraged and recommended to participate in this project!

All participants will be expected to adhere to the check ins and due dates listed in the schedule. Before signing up for this project, please carefully consider your personal circumstances and whether you are able to meet all of the projected deadlines.
