Highlights of the DSMP world download
the server is on 1.18.2
it seems this world download is from after techno's last stream with eret and tubbo rescuing Michael, however tommy's house is still destroyed and it's from before eret building the techno memorial in the museum
The spider XP farm and the guardian XP farm still work, tubbo's villager farm does not
the artic comune's wheat farm still works as well as phil's pumpkin farm
No pictures so everything like the inside of the Las Nevadas casino looks silly
speaking of las nevadas, the redstone also works so you can gamble!!!
the egg was CGI'd into the hole where it was during the egg lore finale, the hole is just glowstone with vines and item frames
named animals are still there including Michael the pig, who's in at cranboo's house
we've found 3 tales locations (city of mizu, village that went mad and blockbeard's treasure island) on the server
everyone's books are still here (if you get it you have to middle click to get the books in item frames or they will just disappear)
for some reason... mcpuffy's is completely empty
eret's megalovania castle tune still works
this was literally the first thing i found but there is a book schlatt wrote to quackity, the highlight of the book “You had the best ass in my cabinet”
there are 9 blocks of emeralds on the hill right next to the artic commune that was probably gonna be a beacon LMAO
there is a destroyed igloo near the artic commune with two villagers in the basement named "orphan's mom" and orphan's dad" LMAO
this is probably obvious but the portal to the other world doesn’t work, so techno’s build there is fully lost to time unless D decides to share that world download as well
speaking of the other portal, it sometimes you spawn in there when traveling from the nether back
i found a big cat statue on one of foolish’ pyramids… i dont remember the name of it im sorry…
ill edit with more stuff if i find something else
edit: i say things still work because i didnt thought they would from moving the world to a single player world, i also find it exciting to see those things work as i remembered from streams :')
edit: for the egg my theory is that the original egg was destroyed during the red banquet then recreated on the museum and that’s why they cgi’d it on the whole so they wouldn’t have to build it a third time 😭

Summary: Reader is Zuko's sister. You and Sokka always argue and fight. You keep infuriating Sokka as you won't leave his head, something he can't stand. Certainly not from a fire nation girl. When one encounter leads to an almost kiss. It draws a line when some guy starts flirting with you, leading to Sokka to show you just how infuriating you are to him.
Tumblr media
Appa roared deep, flapping his tail up. Aang petted his furred friend as Momo sat on his shoulder. Katara was poking in the fire to keep it going. Sokka arrived with new wood. His gaze fell upon you from afar. Near the cliff were you practising. Performing graceful moves without actually bending. Your performances calm and at peace. Anything but what Sokka was used to seeing a fire bender do.
Mostly their sequences were brutal and hard. Their fire filled with anger. You seemed odd among them. Anger wasn’t what filled your bending. It was a combination of being soft and tough at the same time. Something your uncle Iroh taught you when you were younger.
Sokka threw the wood on the ground, startling Katara. – “Hey.” – she called out annoyed.  – “Sure let us prepare the fire while princess fire nation over there is just dancing.” – Sokka outed gesturing at you. Katara sighed loud. – “Can you only ever complain?”
Sokka grumpily sat down on a log. Glaring your way. Aang approached them holding a bag open. – “We’ll need to stock more food.” – he held the bag upside down. A fruit fell out as Momo immediately jumped for it. Sokka shooed Momo away, picking up the last fruit. – “And that isn’t for you!” – he called out to Momo who flew above his head. Katara got up holding her hand out to Aang. – “I’ll go see if a town is nearby.” – she suggested.
“No, no.” – Sokka answered getting up as well. – “Let fire girl over there do something.” – he pointed at you from afar. – “Her name is Y/n.” – Katara answered crossing her arms. Sokka came closer to her. – “and I don’t care.” – he outed with a sarcastic smile. Sokka whistled loud catching your attention.
You stopped your practise, making your way over. Sokka snatched the bag from Aang’s hand, tossing it at you. You caught it  as he was aiming for your face. – “We need supplies.” – he said bothered. – “Please.” – you responded wanting him to ask nicely.
Sokka puffed loud. – “I didn’t know you had manners.” – Sokka answered. – “Unlike you I wasn’t raised in an igloo.” – you responded loud. – “Yet I’m not the one banished.” – Sokka fired back. – “Sokka!” – Katara called out, shocked at his rudeness. As a response you threw the empty bag at Sokka. It bumped against his chest as he moved his head back to not get hit in the face.
“Apologize right now!” – Katara insisted with a sisterly scowl. Sokka looked back to you, seeing how his words made you feel. Somehow he felt a bit guilty for being so cruel. Yet he didn’t act upon it. He took the bag in his hand. – “I’ll just go by myself.”  - he spoke turning away. Momo flew on top of Sokka’s head making him stop with a deep sigh. – “We’ll all go.” – Aang spoke to maintain the peace.
The four of you entered the woods in search for food, hoping you’d come by a village soon. You were walking behind Aang and Katara when you noticed Sokka falling in step with you. – “No bending.” – he simply said to you. You mimicked his words like a child, teasing him. – “Oh real mature princess.” – he responded.
“I’m just lowering myself to your standards.” – you answered with a smile. Sokka stepped in front of you, making you stop all of the sudden. He was brazing, glaring down at you. Your words annoying him. Sokka was glaring at your eyes, his face inches away from yours. His gaze fell down to your lips. He caught himself stare at them, making him turn away.
You gasped breathlessly, slouching back as if you were about to pass out. Sokka caught up with his sister, wanting to be as far away from you as he could. Looking briefly over his shoulder to you, falling in line. Grunting soft, he hated how much you messed with his head. Your presence consuming his mind as if you never wanted to leave. No matter how many times he casted you out. It infuriated him.
You were from the fire nation. Zuko’s sister, the one chasing Aang. The one who caused his village pain. – “You know you can just be nice to her.” – Katara spoke looking briefly at her brother. Sokka sighed loud. – “She’s from the…” – he outed as Katara finished his words in a voice that mimicked his. – “fire nation.” – she then giggled at her own imitation of her brother.
“Not funny.” – Sokka said annoyed as it made Katara just giggle more. Sokka looked over his shoulder again, seeing you chat with Aang.
Katara nudged him hard in the side. Sokka tore his gaze away from you. Some twigs snapped underneath his shoes. – “Aang needs her.” – she told him. – “I know, I know.” – Sokka sighed out. – “Then…” – Katara began as Sokka shushed her. She glared at him a bit for cutting her off. – “Don’t shush me.” – she said annoyed, moving her hands to her hips. – “Stop talking.” – Sokka told her, his focus elsewhere.
Katara groaned loud as he covered up her mouth. It was the only thing he thought would shut her up. – “Why have we stopped?” – Aang asked confused. Sokka was looking at every direction, listening in to nature. His eyes widened when he saw a fireblast fly their way. It hit a tree trunk close to them. – “Fire nation!” – he yelled out. The four of you started to run as more fire benders came from out of the bushes. – “It’s an ambush.” – Katara outed, puffing loud. – “You think?” – Sokka responded to her sarcastically.
Aang swayed his stick across, sending an air blast at some fire benders.  Katara stopped a moment to bend some water out of a puddle nearby. Letting it whip against a fire bender. Sokka grunted as they couldn’t outrun them. They needed to stand and fight. He pulled out his weapon, standing ready.
A fire bender was coming your way as you deflected his fire blast by ducking down. You then kicked at him. He stumbled back making you punch his stomach a few times. Sokka ducked down a punching arm, punching the man in his stomach. He then pressed the back of his weapon on his back. The man dropped to his stomach with a loud oof. He saw fire blasts coming your way as you kept avoiding them with just manoeuvring.
“What are you doing?” – Sokka called out to you. You looked back at him confused. – “Bend!” – he outed, stating the obvious. You kicked a guy away from you. – “You told me not to bend!” – you shouted back at him. Sokka jumped back from a blast. – “Just do it!” – he insisted upon annoyed. Suddenly you smiled with a new set off attitude.
Performing a sequence you conjured fire, attacking your fellow fire nation soldiers. Aang jumped above your head, landing in front of you as he flashed a blast of air at them. You moved back assisting Katara. – “I got it.” – she breathed out. You nodded at her. Looking over your shoulder, you saw Sokka getting cornered.
You ran over to him just as a blast of fire was coming his way. Sokka’s eyes widened seeing the blast come his way from his side. You jumped in front of him, arms forwards, palms pressed together as you split the blast in two. The fire flared beside Sokka and you. Sokka blinked stunned at you. You then attacked with fire of your own. Sokka was staring at you, admiring you despite his infuriation with you.
He was so caught up with you, that he hardly saw the punching fist come his way. He jumped back, avoiding the hit just in time. He was about to knock the soldier on his head with his weapon as a blast of fire pushed him away. Sokka looked confused, till he turned his head. Seeing you in a position, one fist out, panting. You had once again protected him. Sokka smiled admiring at you till his expression turned to shock. You were hit by a blast, sending you rolling on the ground. – “Y/n!” – Sokka called out.
You came to a stop, panting loud. Forcing yourself to get back up. Just as you almost stood up straight, were you hit with another surprise blast. It was if the soldiers were turning their anger towards you. One of their own fighting against them. You got hit as the blast pushed you back.
You screamed when you felt a loss of ground under your feet. An in-sinking in the ground made you slide down the hill. Tumbling and rolling down, you met with the ground hard and fast. – “Y/n?” – Sokka called out concerned. He threw his boomerang at the soldier, hitting him in the head. His boomerang returned as he caught it. Running up to the way where he lost sight of you. – “Y/n?” he panted out nearing where you last where.
Sokka felt the ground underneath his feet crumble away. A scream caught in his throat as he slid down, arms swaying around. On the ground, you groaned in pain. Slowly pulling yourself up by your elbows. Your eyes widened seeing Sokka slide down. At the bottom, he came to a sudden stop, his chest falling forwards. He fell forwards falling hard against your chest as your back smacked the ground again.
Sokka groaned soft when he set his hands beside you, trying to pull himself up. He lifted his head up, his gaze catching yours as he paused. Paused as his face was inches away from yours. Heart pounding loudly as you were captivated in his gaze. Sokka’s gaze went down to your lips  as it made you feel shy. He neared his head a bit as you sensed he had an urge to kiss you. Your gaze flashed up and down from his eyes to his lips and back. If Sokka was about to kiss you, you wouldn’t protest. Sokka felt himself fall deeper, drawing closer to you. What if he wanted to kiss you in this moment. Would it be that bad?
You were bringing your chin closer to him to decrease the distance. Sokka slowly closed his eyes, feeling his lips tingle with the urge. A gush of wind caught him off guard. His eyes flashed back open, suddenly aware of what he was doing. He rolled over, away from you just before Aang landed down. – “So here you are.” – Aang said. You were staring at the sky, panting loud. Feeling extremely hot that Sokka was this close to kissing you.
Katara had climbed down joining Aang. Sokka had gotten up, dusting some dirt off him. Aang decided to head back to Appa and search a town from above. All of you agreed, walking back to Appa. You climbed on Appa, sitting at the back. Avoiding eye contact with Sokka. Sokka was staring down at his own hands.
Katara looked from you to Sokka. – “Is something going on between the two of you?” – she asked. – “No.” – Sokka answered loud. You lowered your head on Appa’s saddle, watching the scenery you were leaving behind. Momo came landing on your head, laying himself down.
Appa roared loud as he descended. Aang had spotted a town. A small village at the edge of the earth kingdom. Appa landed as all of you climbed down. You held the empty bag following Aang into the village. There were many curious heads turning at your friends. They certainly stand out with their watertribe attire and air nomad clothing. You didn’t receive that much attention as you were earth kingdom clothing.
You had left your fire nation clothing long behind. The moment your father banished you after Zuko’s banishment, you gave them up. There was no hope in finding a new home when you wore enemy clothing. Zuko had been given an ultimatum to return. You never did. Not acceding his expectations and questioning the flaming fist of his way of ruling led to your banishment.
The youngest of your siblings, apart by just one year with your sister Azula. You saw more to fire bending then power and anger. Fire could be beautiful if one found a balance between them. Harmony. Your father found that a weakness. Soft. Not something he could have in his daughter.
You went over to a stall where they sold fruits. Sokka’s eyes fell upon a different stall, making his way over to it, without his friends knowing. You bargained with the owner for some of his best fruit. Katara wondered where her brother was, spotting him at a stall that sold herbs. She furrowed her brows, watching her brother buy a patch of leaves. He turned around holding a little patch as he suddenly noticed his sister watching.
Sokka cleared his throat from afar, moving the patch behind his back. It made Katara quirk her eyebrow up. He joined the others once more letting his sister know to stop staring to weirdly at him. – “Look Y/n a herb stall!” – Aang pointed out. You turned your head to look as well. – “You can make that delicious tea of yours again.” – Aang said pushing you towards it.
“Actually…” – Sokka started feeling the patch in his hand. No one heard him as Aang was too enthusiastic to show you the herbs. Aang pulled you to a stop after having pushed you all the way over. – “Anything you like?” – the owner asked as you looked at his products.
“Do you have any jasmine leaves?” – Aang asked for you. – “I certainly do boy.” – the owner answered. – “Actually I…” – Sokka began wanting to let you know he already bought the jasmine leaves. The owner presented Aang with a patch of jasmine leaves. Aang nudged you to accept them. – “Aang we really don’t need them.”  - you told him. – “Of course we do, you love jasmine tea.” – he encouraged you to take them.
“Your uncle taught you to make it.” – Aang added with a smile. – “Y/n I…” – Sokka spoke wanting to place a hand on your shoulder and reveal his patch to you. A new pair of hands grabbed the patch from the owner. – “I’ll pay for her.” – all of you turned your head to a boy. He smirked flashing a wink at you.
His wink baffled you as you weren’t used to that kind of attention. The boy tossed some coins in the owner’s hand. Sokka got shoved aside as the boy wanted to be closer to you. He held the patch up for you to accept. – “You really don’t have to…” – you said feeling a bit embarrassed someone paid for you.
“Nonsense.” – he grabbed your hand, facing your palm up, placing the patch in your hand. – “Anything should be paid for a pretty girl like you.” – he finished. Sokka puffed with a roll of his eyes. The boy slid his arm over your shoulder, moving you away from your friends. – “You look like a girl who likes tea.” – he spoke as Aang followed behind him. – “How does he know.” – he asked happily astonished that he had guessed. – “We literally stood by a herb cart.” – Sokka answered bothered.
The guy was leading you to a tea shop. His arm was still around you as Sokka found himself glaring at it. Katara and Aang clearly unbothered with Sokka’s concerns. – “Has anyone told you, your smile is like a blossom on a spring day?” – he said. It made you touch your lips shy. – “No.” – you answered. Sokka tensed his jaw. You were about to enter the tea shop when a pull on your wrist pulled you to a stop.
You slowly turned as Sokka had taken a hold of your wrist. Aang, Katara and the guy walked further in. – “Something wrong Sokka?” – you asked confused. – “Are you seriously following a guy like him? Just because he flashes a smile at you and gives you a compliment, you girls fall hard.”
You smiled teasingly. – “What’s so funny?” – Sokka expressed loud. – “Nothing.” – you answered with a shake of your head. – “You are cute when you are so worked up.” – you patted his cheek teasingly. The guy came standing behind you. – “Are you coming sugar?” – he asked placing a hand on your hip. Sokka saw it almost making him lose his mind. – “She’s not!” – Sokka stated clear, grabbing you by your wrist. – “Hey!” – the guy called out when Sokka dragged you away. – “Sokka… Sokka.” – you breathed out as he kept pulling you away.
He went into an alleyway, pushing you against the wall. Sokka groaned loud as you could only stare confused at him. He turned around, grabbing you by the waist as he pressed his lips on yours. Eyes wide with shock, you blinked startled at the touch of his lips on yours. He pulled away half angered at himself for kissing you.  – “Why are you so infuriating.” – he outed. Sokka noticed you were still holding his patch with herbs so he slapped them out of your hands.
“Hey!” – you called out as Sokka gave you his with some roughness. – “I bought these because I knew you liked them.” – he told you. – “I don’t know why I bought you them, because I shouldn’t. Certainly not for a fire nation girl!” – he went on. – “So why do I care for you. Why can’t I get you out of my head, and why did it bother me that, that guy was hitting on you!”
You smiled coming up to Sokka. – “Oh hush.” – you told him, grabbing him to kiss him. Sokka gladly accepted your kiss, holding you by your waist. – “You are cute when you get worked up over things.” – you told him, making him smile sheepishly. Sokka held you again, kissing you once more just because he could. Certainly now when he made peace with himself and simply let himself fall for you.

The Artificial Structures of Minecraft: An Attempted Chronology
Artificial structures in Minecraft range from the modern to the ancient. What structures are newer and which are older? It's hard to say. But here are my thoughts:
Modern - These structures are in use and new ones are likely being actively created
Villages: Actively inhabited by villagers
Woodland mansions: Actively inhabited by illagers
Pillager outposts: Actively inhabited by pillagers
Witch huts: Actively inhabited by witches
Igloos: No indication of owners, but the captive villager is still alive
Player-made structures: Self-explanatory
*Abandoned villages: Not actively in use, but new ones are likely being created
Recent - Not known to be in use, but have few signs of decay or geological changes
Abandoned villages: Explained above
Mineshafts: No signs of decay, despite wooden structures decaying easily
Desert wells: Cannot be proved to be in use, but have no signs of decay
Ocean monuments: No signs of decay, built after change in water levels (ref. ocean ruins)
End cities: No signs of decay, though in the end this may be hard to determine
*Shipwrecks: Some shipwrecks have few signs of decay or burial, indicating they are likely recent, especially given how fast wood can decay in water
*Ancient city illager structures: Structures in ancient cities made of dark oak wood and blue wool, appearing to be made by illagers. Illagers are active in the world, so it is likely that the structures are recent
Old - Structure shows signs of overgrowth or being partially buried, but no significant structural decay or changes in local geography
Jungle temples: Overgrown but structure and redstone intact
Desert pyramids: May be buried, and the secret room is entirely buried, but they are still near the surface and show little signs of decay
Dungeons/monster rooms: Cobblestone is overgrown bu structure is otherwise intact
*Shipwrecks: More decayed or buried shipwrecks likely belong in this category
Decayed - Structure has decayed or been damaged, but intact segments maintain integrity. Unclear if these are actually older than the previous category or if they were simply more prone to damage due to being larger
Strongholds: Have some cracked and overgrown bricks, and structures may have gaps. However, other than the gaps, rooms retain their shape and may even contain intact furnishings
Nether fortresses: Some bridges may be broken, but the rest of the structures have no obvious rubble or even cracks
Ancient - Structure is entirely decayed. Massive structural damage. Indications of geographic shifts since construction
Bastion remnants: Despite active habitation, they are in ruins. Some parts of the structures resemble natural caves more than artificial construction
Ruined portals: Wrecked and broken structures, often buried or flooded. Crying obsidian appears to be in an advanced stage of decay
Ancient cities: A majority of structures are in ruins. It is unclear if cities are supposed to be buried deep underground with little to no connection to the surface
Ocean ruins: In ruins. Some contain eggs of extinct animals. Evidently built before a sea level rise
Trail ruins: Likely the oldest artificial structures in the game. Almost entirely buried, with no structural integrity remaining
Conclusions:
Piglin civilization was ancient. Considering how ruined bastion remnants are, in comparison with nether fortresses, it seems unlikely that they competed with the fortress builders at the height of their civilization. It is likely that the fortress builders arrived in the nether only after the piglins had regressed to tribalism. If we assume Minecraft Legends to be canon, this likely means that fortresses (and strongholds, by extension) did not exist in the time period of Minecraft Legends
The advanced decay of ruined portals seems to indicate their extreme antiquity. Combined with their peculiar generation (generating nether terrain in the overworld, but not vice-versa) it seems likely that they are also from the Minecraft Legends time period - this makes a great deal of sense in my opinion, considering how they work in that game
Trail ruins indicate that villager civilization is likely just as old, if not older, than piglin civilization. This is consistent with Minecraft Legends, but the difference in architecture indicates that villagers may have been responsible for a lot of different kinds of structures
Nether fortresses and strongholds have similar levels of decay, indicating they may be from the same time period. This makes sense considering the ender eye crafting recipe
It is likely that the treasure maps in shipwrecks were obtained from ocean ruins
Igloos are likely owned by illagers
Abandoned mineshafts were likely made by villagers - badlands mineshafts may have been made by illagers, as they share their wood type with other illager structures
It is likely that the magic of totems of undying is related to the magic of golden apples. They have similar colours, illagers are the most likely to be responsible for igloos (where they experiment with golden apples and reversing death), they likely have mineshafts in badlands (where they find lots of gold), and they seem to have an interest in ancient cities (the best place in the game to find enchanted golden apples)

i'm fully willing to accept that sokka's weird "play hard to get" advice in "the fortuneteller" was just the writers (rightfully) making fun of that type of dating advice however there's a part of me that's still like. HOW did sokka come up with that. there were no girls his age in his village besides his sister so presumably he's only had 1 single romantic encounter (suki) by that point and that very much did not involve him being aloof and uninterested. yes he's lying to aang about being romantically experienced and probably pulling it out of his ass but why is that what he comes up with.
after pondering, i think there's a few possibilities:
hakoda. now, i don't think it's romantic advice hakoda would give. he's a friendly guy and presumably pulled kya just by being, y'know, sweet and funny and hot. however i CAN see him saying it as a joke. like he says something goofy and kya rolls her eyes fondly like "why did i marry you" and he's like "definitely my cool unattainable mysterious appeal" and they both crack up because he was actually adorably down bad. only thing is, baby sokka does not know that and takes the joke at face value. that's how dad said he got mom! but dad was joking. dad actually tripped over himself and fell face first into the snow when she smiled at him
some older kid in the tribe. there are no girls sokka's age in his village but i have to imagine there are other villages in the tribe, we just don't see them bc after the raid the villages got more isolated and more mobile (tents over igloos) to avoid detection by the fire nation. so baby sokka had a baby crush on a girl from another village and an slightly older boy (someone who would later be just old enough to go to war with the men and leave sokka as the oldest boy in the village) tried to give him Sage Advice. but sokka was 10 and the kid was 14 so it was Bad Advice
bato. this is the funniest option to me bc "play hard to get" is such childish advice for a grown adult to give. but it kinda fits with the whole bakoda storyline of bato quietly pining for hakoda for years. worked so hard at maintaining Maximum Aloofness that the guy he liked didn't realize it for decades
katara. okay actually maybe THIS is the funniest. she found out sokka had a crush on the girl from the other village and thinking her brother is gross and icky and no girl should have to deal with that she said hey. you know what girls like? when you pretend you're not interested :) baby katara is so cute and so full of mischief <3

Since people seemed to like it, I thought I'd go more in depth to my idea for Pigeons in Minecraft. Criticism is encouraged and welcome
PIGEONS
Pigeons are a passive mob spawning in all forested biomes as well as deserts and tundras. Pigeons will also rarely Spawn in Woodland Mansions, Pillager Outposts, Witch Huts, Igloos and Villages
Pigeons have 8 distinct looks depending on the biome:
Tumblr media
Pigeons can be Tamed by the player using any of the following:
● Carrots
● Golden Carrots
● Potatoes
● Seeds
● Pumpkin Seeds
● Melon Seeds
● Beetroot
● Melon Slices
● Glistering Melon
● Spider Eyes
● Fermented Spider Eye
● Apples
● Golden Apples
● Enchanted Golden Apples
● Sweet Berries
● Glow Berries
● Sugar Cane
● Honey Come
When Tamed, players can make pigeons sit, stand and Perch on their shoulder.
Bird Nests
Bird Nests are naturally occurring in all overworld tree types, they can be harvested by the player with silk touch or crafted like this:
Tumblr media
Pigeons and parrots can be sat in Bird Nests and will lay eggs in there when fed (this doesn't require two pigeons or parrots, thisnis indicated by hearts above the birds head) This is the only way to breed pigeons and parrots. Parrot eggs have a yellow tint while pigeon eggs are speckled purple. Eggs hatch after 5 minutes, eggs can be collected via a right click from the player or when the nest is broken with silk touch. Eggs can be placed on the ground in sets of 4. Eggs placed on the ground never hatch. They only hatch when placed back into an egg
Deliveries
Pigeons that lay their eggs in a nest will claim it as there's, pigeons can claim up to two Nests at a time.
Right clicking on a tamed pigeon in a nest with an item in the player's hand opens an interface, similar to the horse, where pigeons can be given an item yo hold. Pigeons can only carry written books and bundles. Assuming the pigeon has claimed two Nests the player can send the pigeon to the other nest on either a one way or return trip.
A pigeon with an item will fly to the other nest, loading chunks as they do so (chucks loaded by a pigeon cannot Spawn mobs or perform tick updates such as crop growth, to prevent lag).
When the pigeon reaches the nest they will place the item into the nest. Items can be removed from the nest via a right click or via a hopper placed below the nest.
Pigeons can go through half block gaps to get to the nest, if they are unable to access the nest after 30 seconds they become frustrated (indicated by particles above their head) and drop the item on the ground.
Assuming that the player chooses for the pigeon to make a return trip, the pigeon will Fly back regardless as to whether or not it could access the nest.
If the player chose one way, the pigeon will stay in the second nest with the deposited item, unless it couldn't access the nest in which case it will automatically teleport back to the player
All players can use Tamed pigeons to send packages, regardless of whether or not they were the one to tame the pigeon.
Achievements and Advancements
Pigeons have one advancement and two achievements:
Special Delivery - Advancement for sending a package with a pigeon
Sky Rat Master - achievement for obtaining all pigeon variants
Spoiled Rotten - achievement for feeding a pigeon one of every golden food item

Winter Holiday
(Hi! Sorry again for not posting yesterday but I hope this makes up for it 🤭 It’s around 1k of rambles again but I love this one)
——————
Imagine going on a winter holiday with Mason, going to one of your bucket list destinations like Lapland during the lead up to Christmas.
Let’s say you’ve finally finished work for Christmas and Mason has a few days off of training, you’ve got all of his family coming up to spend Christmas with you in Manchester next week and you’ve both been so busy recently so you wanted to take the time to book a little trip and spend a few days away together.
There were a few places that you were thinking of going but you decided on Lapland. It’s somewhere you’ve always wanted to visit and Mason has too so you booked the flights and accommodation and not even a week later you’re boarding your flight to Finland.
You’d have to pack all of your warmest clothes, preparing for temperatures that are in the minuses and you’d even go out and buy some new snow boots so that you’ve got some kind of appropriate footwear and of course Mason doesn’t go cheep, making sure to get you both the best of the best and even a new coat each so that you’re not struggling too much with the cold during your stay.
Let’s say that the trip isn’t a surprise, you booked it pretty spontaneously but you knew you were going, however Mason took care of everything else.
I can definitely imagine him wanting to make the trip a special one, booking the most extravagant accommodation and all of the activities he’s heard you talk about for the years he’s known you. Some of it was quite hard to find and book so last minute, but all the effort he went through was worth it when he sees the look on your face as you pull up to your hotel.
It’s not a regular hotel or resort by any means, a few buildings forming a little village around the check in area but there isn’t one big enough to house hotel rooms of any kind, you’re a bit confused until you see the name of the hotel and recognise it from an Instagram account you’ve been following for years.
It’s quite entertaining trying to get your suitcases through the snow but you finally get to where you’re staying. A glass igloo (I might do a terrible job of exposing this so please google it if it doesn’t make sense 😭). A little ‘hut’ like building that’s made half of glass (mirrored on the outside) and only just big enough for a bed and some other essentials, the bathroom is off to the side, being the only part of the room that’s not made of glass. It would face out over a (frozen) lake, all of the other rooms either too far away or facing the opposite direction so that you’ve got complete privacy even with all of the curtains open.
You’d sleep with them open every night, getting to sleep under the stars without having to worry about too much light coming in as there’s only a few hours of daylight in Lapland anyway.
You’d spend the first 2 days of the trip doing loads of activities and exploring the local area. You’d do things like dog sledging (which would make you miss little ace and want to get him a friend to keep him company) and wildlife safaris, which are both things you never even thought of doing, as well as a few hikes and a visit to an ice hotel.
But one of the highlights of the trip would be when you go snowmobiling. Your hotel would have some available to hire either for a couple of hours or for the whole day and you decide to hire one during the few hours of sun light you get on the second day of your trip. You only decide to hire one because you’re quite unsure about driving it so don’t want to waste the money getting two. Mason does most of the driving and you sit behind him with your arms wrapped around his waist as you drive through areas around the hotel and a designated trail they’ve made through the forest.
You have a go at driving for a little bit once you’re in a quieter area and you stop for a while to have some snacks and drink some hot chocolate that you brought from the hotel in a flask. You catch the start of the sunset and enjoy it for a couple of minutes before deciding to head back to the hotel so you can make it back before it gets too dark.
You’d be pretty full on during the day, trying to fit in everything you want to do in the short time that you’re there, so you’d spend the evenings relaxing at the ‘hotel’, either going to the restaurant or ordering room service for dinner before putting on a movie or catching up on a series before bed. We know that cozy nights in with Mason would be the best and I think the glass igloos would make for the perfect one.
And we all know Mason isn’t a massive fan of the cold, but maybe your cabin has a private hot tub out on the deck and you convince him to get in it with you after dinner one night. You obviously can’t just get straight in with your clothes on so you change into your bikini and he puts his swim trunks on before you wrap yourselves in the fluffy robes that are provided. It’s not easy getting outside, knowing you’re going to be hit by the cold almost as soon as the door opens and you’re definitely not dressed appropriately, but you know it’ll be worth it so you each slip on a pair of flip flops and rush outside, throwing your robes off and climbing into the tub as quickly as you can without falling on the icy ground. You’d let out sighs of relief as you settle into the hot water, seeking out his body and settling into his side as he reaches over to turn the bubbles on.
The main area lights would be turned off, the only remaining light coming from inside the hot tub, and that, combined with the lack of light pollution where your staying, would give you a perfect view of the clear night sky. You’d stay in there for hours, tucked into his side as you gaze up at the stars and point out constellations every time you see one you know. Mase might not recognise any of them, but he’d love listening to you talk about them and would always be asking you questions or asking what they mean.
If getting in the hot tub was hard, getting out is impossible. Having to get out and face the cold seems scary, and it takes far too long to finally work up the courage to do it. Mason being the gentleman he is climbs out first, throwing on his robe before turning to hold a hand out for you and you take it, carefully stepping out and into the robe that Mason is holding for you in his free hand. The cold hits you instantly, the water droplets on your skin feeling as though they’re freezing but you’re inside quickly, closing the door behind you and turning up the heating to the max.
You’d jump in the shower to rinse off any chlorine and you’d warm up fairly fast, both of you changing into your warmest PJs and climbing straight into bed to watch a movie before drifting off to sleep ready for your last day tomorrow.
Your last day would be one of the best ones, spending it in the hotels spa facility, relaxing and making the most of the peace and quiet, as well as the quality time together, before the craziness of Christmas starts as soon as you get home.
Your last night would be a special one too. Your flight home is early the next morning but maybe you book to have dinner at a restaurant in the local town, one of the most highly rated/recommended ones, and it’s incredible, trying local dishes and cuisine (even if some of it is a little off putting) before heading back to the hotel for an early night.
But as you’re laying in bed, gazing up through the glass ceiling, you spot something you never thought you’d be lucky enough to see in real life. At first you think you’re imagining it, not really believing your eyes but then Mason points it out and you know your eyes aren’t deceiving you and it really is the northern lights that you’re seeing.
You stay in bed for a while to watch them, both in absolute awe before deciding to throw your coats on and go outside to get a clearer few, you stay out there for ages, the need to have an early night the least of your concerns as you watch and take photos until they begin fading. It would truly be a moment you’ll remember forever, the thing that’s always been at the top of your bucket list now crossed off, and it was even more special getting to witness and experience it with Mason.
The whole trip would just be insane, so special in so many different ways and neither of you would want to leave when it came time to check out the next morning. But you’ve got so much to look forward to once you get home, and as much as you’ll miss Lapland and the time you got to spend with Mason, you can’t wait to get back reality and have an amazing Christmas with him and the people closest to you.

Do you have any headcanons or concepts of how houses would look for each tribe? I’m always so curious about what people think
Sure I can write some thoughts! I might doodle these later but I'm not the biggest fan of drawing buildings so we'll see. This is all coming from my OC Universe, but it's mostly consistent with canon too.
Skywing: It's said they like caves, so commoners and nomads probably just find whatever random cave they can find. If they actually take the time to build it, maybe they could carve out more intricate rooms, windows, pillars and carvings, and maybe the richer ones could get wood for balconies/struts/furniture. If they're built from the ground up, mostly a lot of stone work, stained glass for richer homes, tall pillars, not a lot of stairs (more for flying in and out) so a lot of open areas and big doors/windows to fly out of if needed.
Mudwing: Although the poorest live in those packed mud hut things, the common house is a beaver dam thing with an underwater entrance, an underground basement (though not very big) with more of a terracotta/brick based structure above ground. They're very warm and very open plan, not individual rooms per se but more of a big ol studio for all the sibs to live in. And you'd get a bunch of these in a village. The richer could probably afford wood stilts to get raised houses outside of the water made of wood, though not every mudwing prefers that because they like the mud to sleep in. So it's more of a merchant stall type thing rather than somewhere you sleep. The palace would be a mix of wood and terracotta brick, with a lot of water features.
Icewings: Most icewing houses are igloos or underground bunker type things. It also depends on where you're at. In the more mountainous areas, they could probably make relatively simple stone buildings that look more like fortresses/fortified castles, with snow and ice being used as mortar inbetween the stones. The rich houses and palaces though are in the heart of the ice kingdom, where it's coldest, and the houses are made of pure ice, either carved or made with frostbreath. Wood isn't the best for the cold, so they wouldn't bother importing it.
Seawings: Underwater, it's mostly underwater caves, or coral reef areas. They might be able to bring around some stones to create a little hut out of, but they're usually nothing super elaborate. Houseboats are popular for merchants because they can move their stuff around and catch the attention of swimming seawings. On land, on the shores, they would use stone and wood that they can get near the shore and from the sea. They're usually nothing super fancy or crazy, just functional for seawings who have business on the land more than they do the water. The palace would be in a coral reef area, with a lot of underwater/underground rooms. There would be a little bit above ground for when non-seawings visit, but its not used very much if there's not guests.
Rainwings: Pretty much just what canon says. A lot of wooden platforms, a lot of rope bridges and wooden huts with leaf canopies, it would be very layered and open for everyone to fly around. I don't have much to say here, I love the canon rainwing kingdom.
Nightwings: (In my OC universe they live in the mountains where Jade Mountain is in canon, so the range between the desert/rain forest area) Nightwings love the canyons more than the peaks, so they also love caves, but they adore taking their time with every single one and meticulously carving something into every cave wall. Rope bridges connecting the canyon walls, a real maze carved out behind each wall, and plenty of wood and gemstones embedded to show their wealth. The palace is built into the highest peak, with it being quite narrow relative to other palaces, but going very, very deep into the mountain with a lot of layers. There are a few towers and windows seen from the outside, however.
Sandwings: A lot of sandwings are nomadic, and towns are built around oases. The buildings are made of sandstone and brick, and due to most sandwings moving around a lot, inns are more popular than individual houses, though there are still houses for those who don't feel like moving around a lot. They tend to be not very noteworthy, mostly square with only a story or two, but with paintings and tapestries to spice it up. There's also tents for those going out into the desert and those who just want to rest in a town without getting an inn. A lot of sandwings also travel at night/dawn/dusk and sleep during the heat of the day. In the richer communities, they'll add wood and glass, and fancier inns. As for the palace, honestly I just visualize something that looks like the Taj Mahal or the Kremlin Palace. A lot of sandstone, glass, taller towers and walls, and water features to show off wealth.
