- near death or death (followed by resurrection swift after). it could be reader almost dies or dies (then gets resurrected, get creative with it/how, fr, yk?) or the reverse; the POI (person of interest) dies, although given two of the three's abilities, y'all might have to get creative if you want it to translate for logan and/or wade so this one would be mainly for a remy x reader.

- I personally love a good "POI says sumn mean/outta pocket, hurts reader's feels, stuff happens idk, but they eventually kiss and make up" trope. I'd eat that up, especially cuz OHHH,,,, wade taking a joke or playful argument or something too far? logan being a little too mean/angsty to you for comfort?? remy saying something that gets lost in translation, so it comes out harsher than intended??? 😫😫😫‼️‼️ AND IF YOU WANNA GET MESSY WIT IT, RUNNING TO ONE OF THE OTHER THREE FOR COMFORT🙈🙈⁉️⁉️⁉️.

- a classic; reader getting injured (mildly or worse, doesn't matter), needing to be taken care of, but is stubborn about it?? always a good one.

- getting a little crazy and silly here, but I like a good "abusive and/or negelctful ex/current partner" trope. like hell yeah, one of you big, strong men get over here and save me, whisk me away and show me what I really deserve😻‼️. NOT romanticizing/glorifying it obvs, like no, I mean that wade, logan, and/or remy would not be the red flags in this scenario, they're the one(s) doing the saving FROM the red flag ex/current partner lol.

- getting a little crazier and sillier with this one, but one where reader gets snatched up🙂? oouuuu, miss girl got kidnapped?! once again, somebody come save me, and if "somebody" is not wade, logan, and/or remy, then don't bother, I don't want it. matter of fact, just gon' on ahead and leave me, I'll figure it out myself🙂✌🏽. I think I'd want these separate, actually, bc I wanna take in the individuality of their reactions, like,,, logan going feral?? pretty predictable tbh lmao but still hot. remy?? idek ngl, y'all gon' have to figure him out. - ig this could be put in the panic/anxiety attack category, but I also feel like this might be it's own separate thing, so idk, but... separation anxiety on reader's part. whatever the circumstances may be to breed it, reader is just (not in a unhealthy way) attached to the POI(s), so them leaving for whatever reason is pretty hard on her (and the POI(s), too, because hello, they don't wanna make their reader upset, but things gotta get done fr yk😫🥲),,, lots of reassurance, comforting, and maybe distractions ensue??

- reader with an alter ego/inner beast, whether that be a result of her powers or a mental disorder (think like,,, split personality or maybe DID or something like that, but I do wanna say, if you're gonna go the mental route, make sure you do your research so that you're representing it - not only accurately - but you're not dehumanizing or dumbing it down as well) or just anything that would cause the reader to, as I said, have a different side of themself,,, werewolf type deal, yk? "normal" for the most part, but then has her moments where she be on demon time and then when she's back to herself, she's just like "???" while everyone else is like "!!!". I suppose this could then be followed up/solved with a "the sun's getting real low" typa thing/moment from the POI(s), but that's neither here nor there, do what feels right fr♡.

- reader (just barely) escapes cassandra nova??? that could be cool (a.k.a. very, very angsty bc surely the encounter has messed the reader alllll the way up both mentally and physically, especially knowing what typa timing cass be on lmao😃). love a good hurt/comfort, I can't get enough, actually. this one (given the movie context) may or may not work with wolvie and/or pool (again, up to the writer to get creative), but gambit?? he's been in the void his whole life, he knows cass, sooo it'd make more sense for him to have a higher understanding of the situation in full, but do what y'all want, I'm just the idea woman🤷🏽‍♀️.

Minor: i am a minor, 16 to be precise. And to be honest, i domt care what ysll do here. I dont care if youre mean or nice, or anything. If you help, thank you so much. If you dont, well im still glad youre here. The only real rule is please dont be sexually explicit or freaky in thst nature. This is a serious blog to me. Christian: I am a Christian. I have grown in religion, yet only in the past 2 years have i really grown closer to God. My past life was... terrible in a sense. Not because of family or friemds, just myself. God saved me countless times from Satan, from myself. In still figuring out some things, still wondering about my purpose... but hopefully things will be cleared up soon. Ex-suicidal: i will explain explicitly so beware- I've attempted may 25th 2024 i belive. It was a Saturday, and it was by attempted overdose. I tried with 55 pills (a variety), thinking that might be enough. But surely it wasn't, and i lived. If taken 5-10 more though, then things would've been serious. Anyways, I'm still somewhat affected by it. I can't take pills without feeling gross after, and any mention of suicide or even the words related to it maks me a bit uncomfortable. Still struggling with thoughts on my life, but i will not attempt again. I wouldn't dare. Self Harm: Started this around January February last year (2024), and just progressively grew worse... was first hangnail picking then using nail cutters on my skin, then tweezers, box knives, and carving knives. spread all over my body in small splotches; arms, wrist, thigh, ankles. Its grown so bad that i feel no affects of it any longer. No pain, yet also no relief. It's an addiction in trying to stop... i am getting help though. Ill put a "time since relapse" cohnt up there, as you have seen Problems: ive got suspected autism and adhd, and I'm actually gonna get a psych evaluation for this soon. But anyways, also suspected depression. Was also diagnosed with coccygodynia (chronic tailbone pain) after an accident, and overall i have shrimp posture. Not kidding about that too, it's fucking terrible. Also I'm quite overweight and it's a self conscious thing. Plus my jaw problems... I've got plenty things wrobg with me physically as much s mentally. Helping: yeah I made this alt account to get help, i do need it... BUT im also here for you guys! remmeber always that you are loved, people care for you! i dont wanna give the cliche "life gets better" shit, because sometimes it doesnt. **Warning: this post is not actually Byler or Stranger Things related (specifically)! Rather, it is a post about the blog, more specifically why I haven't been very active recently, but I do mention these things and I tagged them bc they are what my blog is about, therefore the ppl who know me probably do through these tags, so it felt right to do so. If anyone would like me to remove these tags, just say the words and I will!**

I'm writing this post because I want to apologize for being so inactive lately. Now, I know there's not anyone who sits and waits for me to post or celebrated every time I post or anything like that, but I still feel guilty. I've felt like such a part of the Byler (and ST) community here on Tumblr for the short amount of time that I've been on here, so idk, I just feel like I'm letting myself down ig, and possibly others for not contributing to this community I love so much.

I realize this is kinda sounding like a goodbye post, but it's absolutely not! It's actually kinda the opposite, because I'm here to say that I'm going to try to start posting regularly again! However... I still can't say that in full confidence just yet.

I'm now going to go into the reason(s) I've been so distant from this blog lately, and it may get a little personal, so feel free to scroll past if you don't wanna read anything more :) [also very slight trigger warning for bad mental states and terminal illness]

Okay, I'm aware I just said "reasons", as in plural, but there's really only one main reason that has kinda branched off into more (in a way). So what started it all: my uncle, who I've grown up quite close to, as all my family is very close (for example, growing up, we would have "family night"s every weekend where all ~10 of us would sit around and play games, laughing and talking for hours on end) was diagnosed with a very rapidly spreading terminal illness. Now, I'm not going to go into enough detail to say what it is, but I will say that his current life expectancy is 2-5 years, probably even less due to his severity. He also has a 13 year old daughter, who is now being faced with this awful situation, as well. This whole thing, as one would probably guess, has rocked my family to the core.

I think I've mentioned this before, but I am someone who does not get emotional. I rarely ever cry. I bring this up because one of the reasons I'm finding it hard to be active is because right now, I'm dealing with a lot of guilt and grief and part of the reason I'm feeling it so deeply is because I haven't cried over him yet. I feel like an awful human being, I feel like an awful niece. I just feel awful. His daughter, that I mentioned before, has always been closer to me than any of my other (younger) cousins have, so I feel even more awful for her and the fact that she is having to deal with all of this at such a young age. Anyways, to get to the point, these past few months I've been feeling like absolute garbage, and I've been so mad at the world it's honestly not even describable.

Okay, now, where does this blog come in? Well, at first I distanced myself just because I couldn't find the motivation to post, however I was still using ST and Byler to distract myself from it all. I couldn't think about really anything but my family, ST, and finals by the last week of this school semester. Then, finally, because of the break, I could sit down and find pure comfort in both Stranger Things (and my favorite Thai BLs) again. I thought about actively posting on the blog again. But then the wrapping happened. And it's like one of the only things that was bringing me comfort was also suddenly bringing me immense sadness at the same time. I knew it was coming, so I thought I would be ready, but it really overwhelmed me, and I lost all of my motivation yet again. After the comfort of spending Christmas with my family, including my uncle, I wouldn't say I feel better but I've at least more-so come to terms with everything. And I've also, still needing my #1 comfort show, already gone back to watching ST, so I finally feel like I'll be able to post again.

Now, there's other things that have been contributing to my stress, such as school in general, the thought that I might not want to be a math teacher after all (despite wanting that for as long as I can remember), my parents being stupid, and other stuff. But this is the main thing plaguing my life and my thoughts at the moment so... yeah.

I understand that this is probably stupid to some, talking about my blog and Stranger Things when this awful thing is happening in my life, and I also understand that most people probably won't even read this, but this blog and community is truly something that brings me joy, and I felt like all the the friends I've felt I've made on here deserved some type of explanation for my sudden disappearance.

All my WIPs are nameless so far because I am Very Lazy and Fear Permanence. I'm currently focused on Black Tulip

Black Tulip, Zinc Garden (#WIP black tulip)

Very early stages, most of the plot points and settings are likely to change as I refine it. Set in Afghanistan, 1980s, during the Soviet invasion. The story follows primarily Nikolai (Kolya), our initial whumpee, an emotionally numb and socially stunted young soldier who's assigned to a particularly shitty unit (details are murky. Further research is needed). He meets Arseniy Lisitsin (Lisya, or Senya if you want to die ig), our initial whumper. Whumping ensues. The catch is: both characters take turns being the aggressive part, and they get increasingly creative in their whumping methods.

Trigger warnings: dubious consent, unfair power dynamics (initially), unhealthy relationships, actual war, period typical homophobic language

I will say, since whump is largely a form of entertainment and trauma release, I won't write any whump surrounding the civilians caught in the war, as I don't think that the tone of this work lends itself to depicting their trauma in a respectful way. So only soldiers will he harmed here.

Prussian Bluest (#WIP prussian bluest)

Set initially in the 1990s, but most of the whump takes place in flashbacks to WW1. The story follows Bowie (placeholder name) whose hyperfixation is on Manfred von Richthofen, the Red Baron. During a trip to Germany and Poland for the sake of his research, Bowie makes a pilgrimage through the more relevant places to Richthofen's life, including the three burial sites where he had been interred. Shenanigans ensue, Bowie causes the Baron to come back as a spirit. The story switches between them trying to figure out how to fix this mess while Manfred has to relive days of his life at random (ranging from his actual death, in which he feels the dread, the pain, the fatigue etc to his first day of school), and Manfred reminiscing over his memories. Oh also Bowie experiences psychosis so that's fun (I Will Make My OCs Have My Illnesses And You Cannot Stop Me). Cue some psychological and existentialist horror since I like that

Trigger warnings: again Actual War, psychosis inducing narratives, sexual trauma (barely showed but it's still there), queerphobia. And this last one is not a trigger but it'd piss me off so content warning for historical inaccuracies and piss poor portrayal of a historical figure

For what it's worth, I don't think she's a nut job or dealing with breakup trauma or ppd etc. But, the anon who mentioned that she had to go digging for this to post does have a point. It was a Jan posting, so it didn't just pop up in a memory. While I don't think she's lying by bringing up a 13 year old post, something had to trigger her need to burn him at the stake in this moment. There has to be something recent that he's done that pissed her off enough to go searching and then to proceed to take on his legal team with a potential defamation battle.

I'm not some long-time eche. I've never met JL to be under his charming spell. But, I've also never had a personal reason to hate him or wish him ill-will either. I know you don't hate him, and it's smart to protect your blog by not trying to take on some woman who is clearly out for blood, but I've mentioned before that I believe in innocent until proven guilty. Not just with JL.

I often bounce from poking fun at his messy life to stating my opinion if I see something differently. I'm probably about 50/50 on either side depending on what shenanigans he's doing at the current moment. But, this IG posting is very loosely throwing around some very serious words: grooming, p**o, SA. And I'm not even talking from a legal standpoint. His reputation is his livelihood and even if un-founded, if this thing gets big enough and draws enough attention, his career (his life) could take a hit that it can't come back from.

I'm not victim shaming or saying that he's not to blame for putting himself in the situations in the first place. Nor am I denying that he has definitely done some sleazy, skeevy, gross, mean, etc. things in his life. But it's a HUGE distance between inappropriate jerk and pe****ile. If any of this is proven with actual evidence instead of hearsay because he did these things that he's been accused of, then he 100% deserves to go down for it. But, I'm afraid, that even if there's no proof yet again to these eerily familiar stories, that the public is going to find him guilty. Whether he did it or not. And if he didn't, that's not right either. He doesn't deserve to be ruined for being disliked.

The stories always seem to be 'a friend of a friend' or 'someone I knew' and even the ones that are in the first person never seem to have specifics that don't just end up incriminating themselves like the girl who said she continued to hook up with him. Idk. I don't want to call them lies. But I also don't know that they're truths. Words get changed; situations get embellished.

Out of 100+ girls as she claims to have, why did not a single one press charges or have a friend or a parent or someone get involved and take it to the authorities? I totally understand being scared or being embarrassed I let myself be taken advantage of. But they weren't all 14. At 17/18 girls report SA allll the time. You mentioned that he gets away with it because he's good looking. But, if they felt wronged or used or something traumatizing happened to them--it doesn't matter how good looking someone is. Or how famous. Or how good their legal team is. Proof is proof and wrong is wrong. I just can't fathom not ONE doing something about it.

The anon that said she would have let him do whatever he asked doesn't honestly mean whatever he asked. There are limits. She just means she was young and he was magnetic and she would've been swayed by being starstruck. She didn't mean that she'd be okay with tag teaming him and Shannon on a bus just because he asked nicely. I don't doubt that there were girls around that were questionably legal. I don't doubt that he didn't approach anyone and everyone that he thought he could charm. Where I get iffy is whether it went any further than his (albeit creepy) playful banter.

He got his kicks from being weird. From being a creep. Being a dick. He himself put into the universe all the talk of sex and BDSM etc. He opened himself up to this mess years ago without ever thinking of his future self and the backlash that could come from it. He wasn't a child, but he was young and stupid. And probably drunk or high while spewing out a lot of what he said in the earliest days. But, I have to point out that that is opposite behavior from those who actually are doing seedy things. They don't tend to purposely draw attention to them.

His relationship with VK gives me the major ICK. I hope to God that there wasn't anything earlier than what has been dug up already about them being together and I hope that she (and her family) fully knew what she was getting into by whatever drew them together. Being a huge bimbo, I think even in her 20s he had advantage over her (like was discussed that we believe he likes)- but at least she wasn't some virginal early teen. Again with the huge difference between asshole and illegal.

As far as not needing an NDA if you aren't doing anything unsavory...well, look at this mess. Like several have said, it doesn't protect him from anything illegal and is null and void on a minor. But, if it's this easy for random shit to be spread and he's this big of a target...I'd probably protect my business with an NDA too. Why set yourself up to anything and everything you say and do being up for grabs to the highest bidding tabloid. His desire for privacy isn't unfounded, but it does make him a natural target for this kind of thing. When you don't tell the world, the world needs to know. And it's really easy to speculate what and why the world doesn't.

It'll be interesting to see what action he and/or his team make. If any that isn't behind the scenes should happen. Not picking his "side" or defending him. But also reminding everyone that there's a lot at stake here and more than just gossip one way or the other. It would be a shame for him to burn for vengeance or vendetta.
