Assassin!yandere OC x female!Assassin!yandere OC x doctor!yandere OC x King!yandere OC x female!yandere OC x fem!reader
Summary: They find you unconscious, wet and bloody outside the castle’s gate and quickly find out that your village wanted you harm, thinking you're a witch. They decide to give back in the exact same manner.
Warnings: burning, death, drowning, blood, bruises, trauma, yandere, foul language, prostitute shaming, indicating that dressing like a man means ypure a prostitute(its wild), getting stoned (?), let me know if there are more!!
Word count: 4.5k
A/N: Today is my birthday!! So I wanted to do something special and throw all our yanderes together. I've been working on this one shot for a month. I hope you'll like it!!
A cloudy day brings nothing but trouble. The king glances up at the uncertain sky from his balcony in the castle, sighing. The rain will start to pour any minute and by then, all the animals in the castle need to be brought to their houses and the garden furniture needs to have been brought in.
He turns his eyes down to the front gates. They’re always closed to make sure thieves won’t get into the castle. They did once. There were two people — a man and a woman. The man was tall and intimidating and the woman had a masculine name. They were supposed to assassinate king Edmund, but the knights caught them just in time … and now they work for him.
“What are you looking at?” Jerry asks. “There’s no one outside a day like this.”
“Just making sure that everything is fine”, king Edmund answers. “I have to care for the kingdom.”
Silas rolls his eyes with his arms crossed over his chest. Edmund ignores him. His eyes stick onto something moving towards the gates in a dragging manner. Like a hurt animal.
“Wait, what’s that?” he asks and leans over the balcony railing.
“What?” Silas asks in confusion.
“There! That … that thing!”
The two assassinators look where he points, nodding.
“That’s a living thing, your majesty”, Silas says slowly. “I think it’s hurt.”
A thunder catches Edmund by surprise. He looks up at the dark sky and clenches his jaw.
“They can’t stay out”, he says determinedly. “There will be a storm at any minute. If they’re hurt, we can’t let it stay outside. Take it to the other animals.”
“Got it”, Jerry nods and grabs Silas’s arm. “Come now.”
The two of them run away.
Tumblr media
The ‘animal’ down at the front gates isn’t an animal, they determine when they get close enough. It’s a woman dressed in gray, cheap clothes. She’s drenched in what they assume to be water.
“What the fuck?” Jerry breathes out. “Why is there a woman here?”
“Is she pregnant?” Silas asks.
“I don’t think so. But I think she’s hurt.” Jerry glances up at the sky. “Let’s get her inside.”
The unconscious woman — you — gets carried inside the castle by the man while Jerry walks beside, holding up your head. King Edmund gives you your own room. The two assassins start to push each other back and forth. A well dressed woman comes running.
“I heard that something happened!” she gasps. “I brought the doctor!”
“Hedwig, nice girls shouldn’t run”, Edmund mutters and rolls his eyes.
Jerry’s about to open her mouth and say something, but get interrupted by a manly voice.
“Yeah, yeah, but if she didn’t run to get me, who knows what could have happened?” the royal doctor sighs and enters the room. “If it’s an emergency then let the girl run for once.”
“Oh, Dr Kry, could you take a look at the woman?” King Edmund asks. “I want to know why she fainted on my door step, who she is … and why she’s wet. Do your best. And Hedwig, go tell the maids to prepare a warm bath for our guest. And Silas and Jerry …”
The two of them steps away from each other.
“I want you to find out who this is”, king Edmund says.
“Fine”, Jerry sighs and then freezes. “Wait. Together?”
“Yes, together. Is that wrong?”
“No”, Silas says quickly and grabs Jerry’s arm. “Come here-”
Jerry rips her arm back. “Don’t touch me, you pig.”
Despite their arguing, they walk out the room side by side. King Edmund sighs and turns back to Dr Kry who’s making his way over to your side. Hedwig has already left the room, leaving you alone with the king and the royal doctor.
“Could you leave the room?” the doctor asks. “I’ll need to remove her clothes if I want to search her body for injuries. Patient policy.”
“I’m the literal king? If there’s someone that can stay, it’s me.”
Dr Kry sighs and gives in, knowing that there’s no use arguing with the ruler of the kingdom. He walks over to your bed and gently removes the blankets you’ve gotten. He removes your simple dress and frowns. You have marks and bruises around your wrists and ankles and bloody marks all over your body.
“What’s that?” King Edmund asks.
“She’s gotten hurt”, Dr Kry says — mostly to himself — and lifts your wrist. “Most likely are these marks around her wrists and ankles from ropes.”
“Why?”
“I’m not sure.” Dr Kry feels your body temperature. “She’s very cold too. I reckon that she might have hypothermia. My guess is that it must have something to do with the fact that she’s completely soaked.” He lifts a strand of your hair and sniffs it. “I’m pretty sure it’s water. It doesn’t smell like anything.”
“So, what you’re saying is that she must have tripped and fell into a body of water?”
“I think so … but it’s not making much sense … not all of it anyway. The marks and signs of struggle … you don’t think she’s one of the prisoners who managed to escape and then perhaps fell into a lake? It would make sense. Those people down there aren’t the … sanest.”
“I don’t recognize her. Do you?”
Dr Kry tilts his head and shakes his head. “No … no, I don’t. Then what could have happened?”
“We’ll just have to ask her when she wakes up. Or when Silas and Jerry are back. I hope they have some information.”
Tumblr media
You don’t know how long you’ve been unconscious or what time it is, but you do know that your body hurts a lot. You can feel someone dabbing your forehead with a warm, wet cloth. Carefully, you open your eyes and are met by bright light. Everything is blurry. You can see two people in the room. A man dressed in white and a young woman who very well could be a teenager.
“Oh, doctor!” a female voice says softly. “Her eyes are moving. I think she’s awake.”
“Good, she’s waking up”, a male voice answers. “Hedwig, leave, please. I’ll take care of her from now.”
“I want to help, I can help. Who else knows the female body better than a female?”
The doctor sighs frustratedly and points at the armchair in the corner of the room. Hedwig smiles and runs over to sit down. The doctor moves closer to you.
“How are you feeling?” he asks.
“Where am I?” you ask shockingly.
“You’re safe”, the woman named Hedwig answers quickly. “You’re in the king’s castle.”
“K-King’s castle?!” you shoot up from your lying position to look around, to see if it’s really true.
The doctor is quick to stop you and gently lay you back down again.
“What am I doing here?” you almost stutter.
“I’d hope you could answer that”, he sighs. “You were the one coming here in the first place.”
“N-No, I was …” you quiet down, thinking. “I was?”
“Yes, you were”, Hedwig says worriedly and moves closer to the bed. “You fainted by the front gates. You’ve been unconscious for three hours … or more.”
She can tell how scared you are by the look in your eyes. Hedwig smiles comfortingly and takes your hands in hers.
"Don't be scared", she smiles. "We'll take care of you now. You're in good hands. What's your name?"
"Y/N …"
"Y/N, could you tell me why you're wet?" The doctor asks.
You pick up a strand of your hair for inspection and frown. A sudden fear enters your eyes and you avoid any kind of contact with the others.
"Okay, you don't have to answer", Dr Kry says. "But I do think you need to wash yourself. You are full of dirt and blood."
"N-No!" you almost shout, shaking your head frantically.
"I'll be with you", Hedwig says softly.
You hesitate and she's quick to notice that.
"Everything will be okay, we just need to get you cleaned up so we can take care of your hurt areas."
She helps you out of bed and leads you out of the room.
Tumblr media
The two assassins have followed a lead, ending up in a small village at the start of the mountain.
"What are we doing here?" Jerry asks with her arms crossed.
"The trail leads us here", Silas says. "Something here has to give us answers."
"We're more like detectives than killers."
"You could say we switched career paths."
"Very funny, Silas. Now do me a favor and shut the fuck up."
Silas snickers and follows the grumpy woman into the village. They quickly notice that the people walking around them seem somewhat irritated. Their eyes dart over to the two people entering their village. Jerry can feel their eyes wander over her judgingly. She scoffs.
"Excuse me ma'am", Silas says, gathering the attention of an older woman carrying a big wooden pole.
She stops and looks at them, disgust forming on her face when she sees Jerry.
"What?" the woman spits out.
"We were wondering if you've seen a woman today."
Silas starts to describe how you looked when he saw you, but the woman seems more interested in sending nasty looks towards Jerry. Jerry rolls her eyes and looks around, her eyes finding a small, black cat hiding in the bushes. She smiles.
"Yes, I saw her", the woman grits and glances at Jerry for the millionth time. "I'm not surprised someone like you wants to find her."
"What's wrong with me?" Jerry questions coldly.
"Do you sell yourself looking like that?"
Jerry scoffs and smiles, tilting her head. "At least I'm not some washed up rag cloth carrying a wooden pole big enough to make my husband insecure."
Silas sighs and moves behind Jerry to cover her mouth with his hand. He holds her tightly against his chest.
"Excuse her", he mutters, feeling Jerry either lick or try to bite his hand from the inside. "Why wouldn't you be surprised that someone like us tries to find the woman?"
"I don't want people like her in my village."
"You can't do anything to us, we're not from this village. King's rules."
"Then I don't have to tell you anything. Now leave."
Silas knows that they won't get further. He drags Jerry with him.
"Did she imply that I was a prostitute?" Jerry scoffs the very second Silas lets her go.
"Can you blame her?"
"And what is that supposed to mean?"
"You dress like a man, your hair is short, you use foul language … if they didn't think you're a prostitute, they'd think you're a witch."
"You little-"
Silas grabs her arm. "Come now, let's go."
Tumblr media
"Edmund!" Jerry shouts as the two assassins run into the castle.
"It's 'your majesty', you pig", Edmund mutters and meets up with them. "Well? What have you learned?"
"Our guest is from a village in the start of the mountains", Silas begins, "and they refuse to say anything."
"They indicate that they don't want 'people like her' and whatnot", Jerry adds on. "Stuck up people. I swear they all have those wooden poles shoved up their asses …"
"Is she awake?" Silas asks.
"Yes, miss Hedwig is currently cleaning her up in the bathroom", King Edmund replies.
"Lucky bastard", Jerry mumbles and pushes through the two men.
She heads for the bathroom, finding you curled up in the tub with Hedwig sitting on the floor. Your entire body is shaking. Jerry only has time to introduce herself before she notices the marks all over you, especially the ones on your wrists and ankles. Suddenly, it's all clear.
"Holy fuck, it can't be true …", she breathes out.
"What?" Hedwig asks worriedly.
"They thought she was a witch."
You flinch and hide your face down in your knees. Hedwig looks at you with fear in her eyes, not knowing what to say.
"Is it true, Y/N?" she almost whispers.
You don't answer. The two women watch you break out in tears and that's the only answer they need.
"Oh my …", Hedwig whispers, putting her hand on your bare shoulder. "I'm so sorry."
They dry you up and wrap you in a big, fluffy towel. You get to sit down on the floor with the two of them in front of you.
"What happened?" Jerry asks.
You squirm. "I hadn't done anything … only rescued a black cat", you whisper. "It was dying … so I took it in. When the others noticed him, they wanted to burn me at the stake."
"What happened to the cat?" Hedwig asks.
"I-I think they killed him", you mumble.
"No, they didn't", Jerry says firmly. "I think I saw him when me and Silas were there."
You breathe out in relief and finally smile. The two women find your smile to be enchanting — but not in a bad way.
"Why were you wet?" Hedwig asks with furrowed brows.
"Before they burn you at the stake, they have to make sure that you really are a witch", you mumble. "So they tied my hands and feet together and threw me into the lake. The ropes loosened up in the water and I managed to save myself."
"They didn't like that, did they?" Jerry mutters.
"No, they didn't. They were about to burn me, but I managed to run away. So … they threw stones after me. I don't know how long I ran or how far they followed me, but I remember seeing the castle and hoped that I would be saved."
"You are", Hedwig reassures you softly. "We don't think that you are a witch."
"Thank you …"
You've noticed how Jerry looks different by now. Her shoulder length black hair, her name and manly clothes. She wouldn’t survive a day in your village.
The two women help you get into a nightgown and take you back to bed. The sheets have been changed and you slip down into the new, warm, clean sheets. You think back at the bath and squirm at how quickly the people calling themselves your friends suddenly turned their back on you.
The door opens and three men enter, one being the doctor, one being a stranger … and the last one being the king.
“Your majesty …”, you almost stutter, sitting up straight.
“Lay down again”, he says.
You obey.
“I’m happy to see you alive”, he says. “Your bruises and cuts will fade and the evil people who did this to you will pay the price. I promise you.”
Tears fog up your vision. You’re both relieved and embarrassed to know that other people know about the Hell you’ve gone through these last few days.
“Tell us what these cocksuckers did and we’ll slaughter them”, the unfamiliar man says.
“Silas, language”, Dr Kry reminds him.
“I can tell”, Jerry said. “She told us.”
And so, you’re forced to relive it.
Tumblr media
Your bruises heal up a few days later. You’re allowed out of bed and out in the garden for some fresh air. At least one of your five new protectors are with you at all times.
"What's wrong, dollface?" Jerry asks. "You look like a lost kitty."
"Nothing", you sigh. "I just miss my family. I can’t believe that they thought …"
"That you were a witch? Shit happens. My parents think I'm mental. What's the big deal?" She shows her pants and shirt. "I can assure you, women will dress like this in the future. I'm just starting the trend."
"I wish I had your confidence."
"It's really not that hard to achieve. You just have to do your own race and then you will find who sticks by your side." She looks around. "Silas doesn't care."
"Are you a couple?"
"Fuck no, he's disgusting. If anything, I see him as that parasite you get under your shoe that you can't get rid off."
You smile slightly, gaining a smile from Jerry. She pinches your cheek softly.
"You should smile more. You have a … bewitching smile."
"Stop that", you laugh. "I don't want to hear the word 'witch' ever again."
Jerry smiles slightly, but her smile drops as she sees Silas coming into the garden.
“Isn’t it my favorite girl?” Silas smiles. “And Jerry of course.”
“Thank you, Silas, much appreciated”, Jerry mutters.
Silas wraps his muscular arms around you and gives your forehead a gentle — but somehow possessive — kiss.
“You’re such a cute little thing”, Silas says and lifts you up in his arms. “Let’s get you inside, things aren’t fully safe outside.”
Jerry gives him a questionable look and he nods noticeably. Silas carries you inside and leaves you in the painting room.
“Why don’t you paint a sweet little painting together with Hedwig?” Silas says. “Me and Jerry have some business to attend to.”
Hedwig enters the room together with the king himself. The heavy, long curtains covers the windows, making you frown.
“Y/N!” Hedwig smiles and runs over to you, wrapping her arms around you.
King Edmund holds his hands together behind his back as he smiles.
“Hello, dearest”, he says. “I’m so happy to see you again. I’ve been quite busy … finding the people who hurt you.”
You shrink.
“Don’t be afraid, they have it all under control”, Hedwig smiles and caresses your cheek.
You nod carefully. Silas and Jerry leave the room and you reach for a paintbrush.
“Hedwig, please, don’t sit like that”, Edmund mutters.
“I’m just sitting”, Hedwig says.
“Not like I want you to sit.”
“And how do you want me to sit?”
“Like your father wants you to sit. Don’t make me write him a letter.”
You look at him, wondering what the connection between Hedwig and Edmund really is. He seems to be able to understand your confused eyes.
“You see, I’m in care for Hedwig at the moment”, King Edmund says. “She’s a relative of mine who should have gone off to finishing school, but instead was sent here for me to deal with.”
“It’s just because we were late in sending the application …”, Hedwig mumbles.
“And now I’m stuck raising you.”
Edmund’s barely older than Hedwig. You sit there, painting for what feels like hours. The door suddenly opens and the doctor enters.
“Your maj- …”, he notices you and stop. “Y/N, nice to see you again. Your majesty, may I speak with you? Now?”
The king nods stiffly and stands up.
“My ladies, I will have to depart from you now”, he says apologetically. “There are things I have to do. Dr Kry will stay here with you.”
You look back at Hedwig once Edmund’s left. Her entire face is pale and her eyes are slightly widened, but she’s trying to hide it. It’s obvious.
“What’s wrong?” you ask cautiously. “Everyone is acting weird today …”
“Nothing is going on!” Hedwig says quickly. “Nothing at all!”
Dr Kry sighs.
“Don’t let her scare you, Y/N”, he says. “Everything is okay, don’t you worry. Continue painting. I think you’re doing it very well.”
You try to shake off the feeling in your stomach and turn back to your painting. They tell you that nothing’s wrong, but you can’t shake off that feeling. It only gets stronger when you hear loud shouting from the outside. Hedwig gasps, but quickly hides her mouth behind her hand. You frown and stand up to go look out the window. Dr Kry mirrors your moves.
“Y/N, don’t”, he warns you, grabbing your arm.
“Why?” you question carefully. “You said that everything was okay.”
You glance at Hedwig who looks even paler than before and then at the strict look on Dr Kry’s face. You rip his arm off of you and hurry over to the window. Roughly, you rip the curtains to the side, exposing the inner yard. A big fire is raging in the middle … with a pole in the pit of the dangerous flame. You freeze when you recognise the people getting tied up, the poor humans crying out for help and forgiveness.
“W-What’s going on?” you stutter.
You flinch heavily when you feel Dr Kry’s large hands on your shoulders.
“Y/N, come with me-”, he starts.
“No!” you bursts out. “I don’t want to! I want to know what’s going on!”
“Y/N, dear, please, I’ll take you to bed-”, Hedwig says but you cut her off.
“I don’t want to go to bed, I want to know what you’re hiding from me!”
The doctor and the young girl looks at each other.
“We’re just helping you”, Dr Kry says calmly. “The king insisted on punishing the people who wanted you dead in the same way they wanted to kill you — at the stake.”
In horror, you look back out the window, desperately shaking your head.
“No, wait …”, you hurry to say. “I can’t let them do that! Sure, they’re mental, but they have families too! Please stop this madness!”
You can’t have this on your conscience. You’ll be indirectly responsible for their deaths. Quickly, you loose yourself from Dr Kry’s hold and sprint for the door. He’s right behind you, catching you before you have the chance to flee. His strong arms wrap around you, lifting you up.
“There’s clear orders from the king: you’re not allowed to leave this room until he’s back.”
He places you back down in front of your drawing. Hedwig sits beside you, not saying a word.
“You can’t let this go on, doctor!” you plead. “People are dying!”
“Yes, but … I can’t disobey the king or I’ll find myself strapped to a pole as well. Now continue your painting, it’s wonderful.”
“I agree”, Hedwig says weakly. “I really like it, please continue-”
“How can you pretend that nothing is happening?!” you almost scream.
“They’re traitors who get what they deserve …”, Hedwig mumbles, eyes stuck in her lap.
You stand up again, more forcefully this time. Dr Kry grabs your arms firmly.
"No, I have to-!" you start frantically.
Dr Kry hushes, but your voice grows higher. Realizing silencing you verbally won't work, he brings your face into his chest, locking it in place and hushing louder.
“It's okay, Y/N”, he comforts you. “Everything is for you, everything we do is for your safety and happiness.”
You try to push him away. Hedwig runs over to you and cups your cheeks between her soft hands. You shake your head in pure fear.
“Tell them to stop”, you plead desperately. “Please!”
“We can’t”, Dr Kry says. “King’s orders.”
You can’t shut the screams out. Hedwig hurries over to the music box and turns it on to drown out the horrible noise. Dr Kry brings you back to the painting.
“If you finish it before the king is back he will be pleased with you”, the doctor says.
You sit there, staring in front of you in pure disbelief. This can’t be true. Have the kingdom gone to Hell?
Tumblr media
The door opens. King Edmund, Silas and Jerry enter one after another.
“How’s your drawing going?” the king asks.
You ignore him.
“Y/N?” Edmund asks.
“She heard”, Hedwig says quietly. “And saw.”
“I see.” He walks over to you, crouching down beside your chair. “Don’t be mad. You’ll never be hurt again.”
“You can’t do that”, you say. “You can’t kill people like that!”
“They were criminals. They tried to murder you.” He lifts your hand, kissing it gently. “And as your king, I can’t allow those scums to live.”
You rip your hand back and stand up.
“Don’t fucking touch me!” you spit.
“I wouldn’t talk to him like that if I were you”, Silas smiles amusedly with his arms crossed over his chest.
“What? You’ll throw me in the fire too?”
“No, but we have the dungeons for a reason”, Edmund says. “Do you want to end up there, sweetheart?”
You glare at him, refusing to answer. Your silence tells him everything he needs to know.
“You’re all barks but no bite, doll”, Jerry says, just as amused as Silas.
“I want to leave”, you say. “I’m well now. You don’t have to keep me here anymore.”
“I don’t think you’re going to leave”, Edmund says. “I order you to stay here. If you disobey, you’ll be punished severely, got it?”
“What’s the punishment?”
“Marrying me. Although, I’d see it as more of a privilege. Don’t you?”
“And even if you left, where would you go?” Dr Kry asks. “Your entire community is gone. There’s nothing left but a ghost village.”
“You’re not leaving, you hear me?” King Edmund says firmly. “You’re staying here now. Where you’re safe. The outside is clearly too harsh for you.”
“You’re insane …”, you whisper.
Hedwig sighs, grabbing your shoulders carefully. “Come, Y/N, I’ll take you to bed.”
You let her drag you with her. Mostly because you want to get away from the other four. Hedwig tucks you into your bed with a soft, apologetic smile.
“I’m sorry that we lied to you”, she says. “But we couldn’t tell you what we were doing. We knew you’d get scared.”
“I thought you were nice”, you mumble sadly.
“We are. We’re doing the right thing … we don’t want people like that around you. They had to pay. We really do cherish you. Bringing you in here was the best choice we’ve made. Honestly. We really want to protect you, Y/N. You’re such a precious soul.”
“Leave me alone, Hedwig.”
She nods carefully and fixes your sheets. Before she leaves, she gives your forehead a kiss. You turn on your side and hugs your knees close to your chest, feeling a sickeningly feeling in your stomach. You shouldn’t feel guilty … the others certainly aren’t. Those people wanted you dead, why are you feeling bad?
Tumblr media
After a while, the door opens behind you, but you don’t turn around to see who entered.
“Y/N, turn around”, Jerry says.
“No”, you answer.
“You difficult shit.”
She walks over to your bed, putting something down on the covers. You can feel small movements and soon hear a little, familiar sound. WIth a gasp, you sit up straight and look at the black kitty making cookies on your blanket. You lift him up in your arms, hugging him tightly.
“My little baby, oh my god”, you breathe out into the kitty’s black fur. “You’re okay. I’m so happy to see you again.”
“You’ll forgive us now, right?” Jerry asks.
“You can’t buy my agreement, Jerry.”
“Of course we can. Every human has a prize. This is yours. I know it.”
Of course she’s right, but why should you tell her?
“My dearest Y/N”, she says lowly, stroking your hair. “You understand that even if you had a higher price for your freedom, we would find it. You’re never leaving, do you understand me?”
You gulp and nod noticeably. Jerry chuckles and kisses your cheek before leaving the room. You breathe out shakily, hugging the cat closer to your body. Is this how it’s going to be from now on? A tear runs down your cheek. You really did bewitch them all.

Living Weapon Whumpee part 13
Warnings: forced living weapon/fighter, war, bleeding & bullet wounds, several deaths, hostage situation, held at knifepoint
Whumpee tuned out the vicious fight going on behind him, the screams of pain and panic as the two sides tore each other apart with bullet and blade. He only had one mission now…
Using Myra as a human shield, Leader turned away from Whumpee so that Whumpee could protect and cover his back while Myra blocked his front, aiming for the hall to escape. The fight was almost over now, the Flint soldiers dispatching the last few of Leader's men.
Leader took one step toward the exit, roughly shoving Myra ahead of him -- when a bloody blade suddenly came bursting out of his chest, the tip of bright metal protruding out his front in a spray of blood.
The knife fell from Leader's hand as he stared down in pure shock and horror at the blood rapidly soaking through his shirt.
Whumpee leaned in from behind to whisper into his ear. "With all due respect, which is none... I'm not your puppet anymore. And you forgot to never turn your back on an enemy." That was always the biggest rule Leader had drilled into him, to never take your eyes off your opponent. Ironic, that it would be Leader's own fatal mistake.
Leader choked, mouth agape as he gurgled blood, drowning in it. Then Whumpee yanked his dagger out, and Leader fell to the floor, twitching and jerking spasmodically. It lasted mere seconds before he stilled, dead.
Whumpee stared down numbly at the body of his former handler -- before crumpling to one knee with a wheeze, clutching at his ribs. He must have taken more hits than he thought, and now that the adrenaline was starting to wear thin, he could feel it catching up to him. The agony, sharp and piercing, stabbing every nerve and setting it on fire.
He was barely aware of the scene around him anymore, the last dying cries of Leader's men as Flint soldiers took them out, a gorey mess of blood and death painting the floors in a gruesome mosaic. His ears were ringing, head throbbing with every heartbeat, but he was distantly aware of a hand on his shoulder, followed by arms around his neck.
It was Myra, clinging to him for dear life and shivering all over, hiding in front of his large form and burying her head into his shoulder to stop looking at all the carnage behind his back.
"T-Thank you W-Whumpee," she whispered, voice wobbling. She was sobbing and shaking like a leaf, and Whumpee couldn't blame her for being traumatized by all the death and destruction. He had learned to tune it out to focus on his missions, but Myra hadn't tasted war before -- her first glimpse had been when Whumpee killed the townsfolk.
Whumpee's chest was heaving, raspy breaths escaping him, but he put a reassuring arm around the small girl in a careful, gentle hug, being highly conscious of his own supernatural strength. His hands were covered in blood, but Myra didn't seem scared of him in the least, and it made Whumpee's heart ache. The only person who didn't see a monster to run away from. He craved that feeling of being wanted and appreciated as more than Weapon, being more than a scarred-up war beast.
"It's okay... Myra... You're safe now..." He panted, holding her close. "I just... need to lay down... for a bit..." Whumpee’s voice grew faint and thin as he gently untangled her small arms from around him so she wouldn’t get hurt as he awkwardly fell onto his side with a grunt, blood pouring from his wounds. Everything hurt, it was hard to breathe, and the room wouldn't stop spinning.
In his peripheral he could see Flint soldiers watching him warily, unsure if they should approach or run away before he had a chance to get up and attack. Mixed reactions of curiosity and terror.
Myra was leaning over him, and he saw a blurry figure appear behind her, tugging her into a fierce hug, and Flint's worried voice filtered into his foggy conscience.
"Myra! Thank the stars you're all right..."
Whumpee couldn't help cracking a small smile, a wave of satisfaction rolling over him. He'd done the right thing for once, fought on his own terms, not because someone told him to. He felt accomplished... free.
His vision was growing hazy, and he closed his eyes against the pain, not wanting Myra or anyone else to see it. And before long, the darkness floating in his head swallowed him whole. And he knew no more.

Tumblr media
I wasn't so frustrated anymore, I went well all the way and told the staff that I was transgender and gay, but not yet pregnant. In fact, I haven't done the test yet, I didn't have time to do it, I went everywhere, including the hotel room and the sauna room, but only in the bathtub where I sat with a bomb foam machine and most of the time I fell asleep there until Jon, Max, Ollie or my alarm clock woke me up I didn't have to, I can always sleep well there, it calms me down, especially after stressful days.
"Jesus, I left my test behind" I zipped up my jeans, which had been tight lately. "How is your test, my son?" Dad looked at me, I was shocked and confused and gave him a stupid answer. "I was invited to a quiz show test." ,,I think Lando, you will fail at the first geography or history question because you are not the smartest boy in the world, your IQ is also 110." "Good no pregnancy test, I think I'm pregnant by Ollie." I knew, I knew, I shouldn't have done that, dad has no idea what I'm going through right now and he doesn't need to know about it. "Let's leave it to your mother's, not your resort." "Are you pregnant? You're already a boy." "No, I'm not the girl, I was just born in the wrong body and there's a long road ahead of me and behind me, I'm sorry to say this only now, but I'm transgender and gay." "I believe, go ahead, the reporters are waiting, you are third."
"I'm the third, should I take this as cash now?" I looked at the camera that took me, I couldn't believe it and nothing was going to work out as described in the ledger, now third place. "Lando are you okay?" You almost cry.” "Of course, of course Max, I just can't believe what I've heard. Tomorrow I'll start from third place, now if you'll excuse me, not only is the press waiting, but I can finally take care of my ongoing business."
Tumblr media
"Lando!!!! Wait, current affairs, what do you mean?” I ran after him, breathless, when I asked all the existing reporters around, they said they had already given interviews. "Oscar, haven't you seen your teammate? Nothing." I saw that he had his hands in front of his mouth and was crying. He shakes something again and again, I went there and hugged him. "Is there a problem Bob? What is it in the beginning? it smells like urine, I mean it." "I'm pregnant, I can't believe I'm slipping in." It says I'm pregnant and 3-4 weeks old. Shouldn't I be seeing a gynecologist, Max?" He shook his head and still started to see this, my blood ran cold, I thought it was just a joke, he was joking, he told me the truth for the first time, and I have since supported him in everything he does, no matter what. "Well, come here, my old warrior friend, there's nothing wrong. I will stand by your side even if the evil gynecologists have a good laugh and send you to the end of the world on vacation in sunscreen and swimming trunks." I saw that faint but tiny Lando Norris smile in his eyes, I knew he had to cheer him up, he was spoiled.
Tumblr media
"Yes, thank you" I put down the microphone and followed them in my racing clothes, only to see that Lando was begging for something. "Max? Here…” I’m pregnant Ollie slipped in, you get it!!!!!” Lando gasped and knelt on his stomach. Almost on the spot I collapsed from the pain. "I understand, but why? I'm just worried about you, man. During the winter break, you won't be seen or heard, and I called you so that if you're already here, come to us, but you're going to pick up that fucking phone, fuck you!!!!!" I walked up to him and slapped him and showed him my middle finger. ,,What???? Damn you Osc!!!!! I pour my heart out to you and you answer like that, you're a fucking Australian!!!!" "Here??? How are you talking to me you bastard Bristrol fuck!!!!” "Nana, stop it!!!!! Now I don't know who you are, but this seems to me like gay snogging." "Lando kissed me!!!!" "And you are my boyfriend!!!!" "Who the fuck is exciting my dick then and there I roared into you Lando, understand, it was more than just a kiss for me, you see." I went over to him and put my fluffy lips to Lando's, whose lips were a little wetter but softer and I kissed him. "Oscar, fuck Lando!!!" "Ollie!!!!"
Tumblr media
"Wait for it!!!!" I ran drunkenly through the crowd after Ollie, "Ollie, please, it's not what it seems." "Why are you walking behind my back with Osacar? You're a bastard from Bristol, you've managed to prove it again." He tore the test out of my hand and threw it away, presented it to me, and then ran away. ,,Fuck!!!!!!!! My test is now the fucking half-pedock will know the truth.” "Lando, we saw that Ollie was said to be immature and an Essex monkey in a relationship. That's what all his exes have said about him so far." "It's not about that, fuck you, it's about the fact that I'm pregnant for you. Max is my baby's father and he flunked the test, which indicates that he's an immature dick and I still thought I loved Ollie. Where the hell did I go wrong and how can I fix our relationship because of the bean?" "You saw this, I don't know, friend, I think if you both look at yourselves, you will figure it out and I suggest you talk it over." "I don't think it's going to work because of the kiss, maybe I'll have to raise the little one alone, and I've just started to have feelings about this matter, what should happen, should I end it or not, if not, what a scandal it will be, should I give it up for adoption, if so, where?" ? But will I be able to raise him and how much help will I get? The whole thing is complicated for you.” Burying my face in my palms, I started sobbing, my body was shaking, I didn't know who to turn to and when I should say this, and I was afraid of how big of a scandal this would be.
Tumblr media
,,Whose is this?" I walked back and saw that Lando was crying a lot, "What did you and Carlos get together with?" "I've only known since yesterday that you don't mess with him." "We really couldn't agree on anything except that mine is my test." "Lando, are you pregnant by whom?" He started sniffing, he leaned his head on me again, his lips wanted to form words but his brain forbade him, I started stroking his badger hair to comfort him. But there was no other way, and his brain buried it in a deep, very deep place, a mournful place from which he can only return in his nightmares. "From Ollie and I think it's over because of an idiotic kiss that only lives in Oscar's mind that he and I are an idyllic couple who will get married next year. That's not true, he's just an old friend of mine and my teammate, I don't want to fight with him, I think it's disgusting." "Well, Lando licked back that certain ice cream, you went with your teammate at that age too and we sat here and cried about how Danny was the last one to throw for a girl." ,,Congratulations Lando" ,,Thank you on his behalf Cheko" ,,I know more..." ,,Is Max sleeping?" I kissed his hair and he drooled so much that he fell asleep, I smiled, I could always stand it when Lando was sleeping, he's the cutest in the field.

Tumblr media
You are currently standing above a shadysider, drawing your mini ax into the sky before suddenly dropping the sharp end  onto a young girl who was only fifthteen, the same age as your younger sister. You didn’t care at all, that was until you looked up and saw Cindy standing there in fear as she had tears pouring from her eyes. You suddenly feel normal again when you lower your ax to the ground, continuing to stare at her. She comes and stabs you before dragging you to the ground.
Everything began two hours earlier..
You’ve felt weird all day and you started to wonder if you maybe developed a concussion when you hit your head from falling. But that didn’t stop you from going on about your day as you walked into the outhouse. Doing your deeds, you finish rather quickly before walking out when you and Cindy cross paths. The thoughts of you dating her clouded your mind as she managed to pull you out of your crazy thoughts.
“Hey, are you okay? I saw you fall.”
“Yeah, I am fine. I just hurt a little bit.”
“Do you need to lie down?”
“No, I’m good. I just need an ice pack, that's all.”
“Okay, do you want some help?”
“Cindy, I’m fine. I can do it myself.”
“Oh.. okay.”
You knew you hurt Cindy but you wanted to sound stern and not like you needed her aid every time you got injured. You kinda felt like Ziggy. The thought hits you abruptly while walking out of the stall before heading towards a shed to process everything, seeing that night has officially set over Camp Nightwing. You’re alone while running your finger across the blade of a small ax that managed to steal your attention. For some reason you don’t think right as you grab it, holding it as you smirk.
You felt no remorse for wanting to take the life of a camper or counselor. And so, you did. You walked out of the utility shed right when you came across a young boy named Jeremy. He was cleaning his glasses when he put them on, looking straight at you. You strike him in his head watching as his lifeless body hits the ground when you continue to batter him, the life has already slipped away from Jeremy as you step away from the deceased body before moving on.
Jeremy’s blood was splattered on your face, your clothes are now colored red when it once was a white tank top with blue jean shorts. Your white slip on shoes were covered in blood as if you were the one who got murdered. You swiftly move through the forest before heading towards another cabin, seeing many as the commotion gets louder. Slipping in, you hold your ax firmly before seeing Joan in bed with Kurt as you hide away in the other room waiting to scare her.
Once Joan gets out of bed, dressed, she startles when she notices the front of the cabin open before you come out as it scared her to the max.
“Oh, Y/N.”
You don’t react as you dig your ax into her skull, killing her instantly. You continue to strike her multiple times before drawing your ax and walking out of the cabin before moving on to another camper or counselor as no emotion goes through your body.
Cindy’s point of view
As you walk around the camp, looking for Y/N  you begin to feel some type of discomfort while moving around. You push that feeling down and continue on when you see a blood puddle until a body catches you off guard and a little sick. A scream escapes your lips as everyone including your younger sister, Ziggy watches from afar. You begin to feel scared as you grab Ziggy’s hand and run away and hide in your shared cabin— the cabin you once shared with Y/N.
“What the hell, Cindy?!”
“Ziggy, listen.”
“No, I don’t need to listen. I already know what you’re gonna say. I know there is a  killer on the loose.”
“It’s not that.”
“Then what is it then?”
“I can’t find Y/N, and it makes me wonder if she is causing this.”
Your younger sister crosses her arms, brows furrowed as her expression is stern.
You sigh.
“We need to find her.”
“Cindy, are you crazy?! We could get murdered.”
“But what if she’s in trouble,”
Ziggy looks down, biting her lip. She then looks back at you and agrees to come with you to search for Y/N, so you all can be safe together. Ziggy splits from your grasp as she goes another direction, running into a scared Alice while you go and search for your love– the love of your life. That was until you see a female figure so you go towards it, trying to make out who it is. Of course you didn’t think to grab a flashlight but you continue on anyway.
(Your point of view)
You are currently standing above a shadysider, drawing your mini ax into the sky before suddenly dropping the sharp end  onto a young girl who was only fifthteen, the same age as your younger sister. You didn’t care at all, that was until you looked up and saw Cindy standing there in fear as she had tears pouring from her eyes. You suddenly feel normal again when you lower your ax to the ground, continuing to stare at her. She comes and stabs you before dragging you to the ground. You drop your ax before looking up at the night sky.
You've killed a total of eleven people in the span of a few hours, but you felt like your normal self again…somewhat again as Cindy’s expression softens and so does yours. She stabs you again before you black out completely, not remembering anything that happened. From you becoming something you're not to killing Jeremy and many other's.
Everything slips away before you could respond.
While you lay on the grass, you soon regain consciousness as you feel pressure on your shoulder and stomach area. The pain makes you grunt as you look at Cindy with blurred vision. Am I… dying?
You thought to yourself, but soon come back when she helps you sit up. You lean yourself against a large oak tree, looking down at your wounds.
“What the hell!”
“I stabbed you …twice. You were killing someone– and I didn’t know how to respond.”
“I– Cindy, I don’t recall killing anyone.”
“You did. You killed, like, 9 or more that I know of.. What exactly happened?”
You stay there silent for a moment, trying to find the right words to say but can’t seem to find them as you can’t retain the information with you becoming possessed. It’s not that you didn’t want to tell Cindy what got into you, you just didn’t know how to respond. The thought of telling you were possessed made you feel bad, because you knew Cindy would give you an annoyed look, the same expression she gives her sister …and Tommy. That was until they broke up. But you decided to focus on each other for the moment being.
“I don’t know how to explain it. It’s– It’s like I got possessed or something. I couldn’t control myself from doing that, but sitting here now makes me feel small. I couldn’t imagine myself killing anyone in this camp. I love the campers, even the ones from Sunnyvale.”
“Well, in conclusion you did. And, the witch curse isn’t real– neither is the devil.”
“You don’t know that, Cindy.”
Cindy manages to stop your bleeding as she helps you, you both walk to camp before you abruptly stop in your tracks, the pain getting more aggressive as you take a seat on the grass. Laying down before looking up at Cindy.
“I think I’m dying,”
“No, you are not. You hear me.” She says in between sobs. “You can’t die on me. You’ve made me feel like myself, and you love me for me. Y/N, you can’t choose to die. Please…”
“C–Cindy, I’m sorry.”
“Y/N, no..”
You grit your teeth together before grabbing her face and bring her lips to yours, kissing her before staying there for a while until you both pull away from each other. She tries to process the thought as you do the same, but it was too late to say anything. An ambulance is seen at the entrance of camp as Cindy tries to get you to stand up but your body refuses. You do so anyway, more blood coming out this time as you both make it to the ambulance. The paramedics get out and assist you while you go in and out of consciousness, trying to stay strong but your body is weak beneath you.
Hours later, you wake up to the sound of a heart monitor as you look around and see the light sky outside. Cindy is right next to you along with her sister, they are both asleep as you decide to let them snooze but the pain in your body causes a grunt to come from your lips, Cindy wakes to your sounds. She looks at you before standing and calling a nurse to come and check on you, before coming back and holding your hand. She strokes your face, seeing the bandage on your forehead. You muster up the courage to give her a weak smile as she smiles back at you, feeling better knowing that you are okay.
“Alright, everything looks good. But, you need some fluids in you or your body won’t work. You also need to rest.”
“Got it,” Your croaky voice speaks out.
What happened in the process of all this? Who possessed me?
Was I actually possessed or did I muster up the thought to blindly rage through camp and kill many people?
I don’t know.
You come back to reality as you watch the nurse leave your hospital room, closing the door behind her loudly as Ziggy startles awake. She looks around her when you and Cindy catch her eyes before relaxing as she stands up, walking over to you and crosses her arms. She glances at your frail body before unfolding her arms as she lightly rests her hand on your leg, sitting on the hospital bed as well.
A police officer steps into the room, holding a notepad as a pair of handcuffs hang on his belt. You didn't know why a cop was coming towards you, and it scared you.
"I'm officer Kapinski,"
"I'm Y/N L/N"
He writes it down.
Were you a suspect?
"I'm gonna get right to the point here. We have eleven bodies at Camp Nightwing, and a witness told me that she saw you murdering someone. Can you explain that?"
"What? I would never hurt a fly. Everyone knows this, even Cindy and Ziggy Berman. The last thing I remember was leaning against a large oak tree, bleeding out from being stabbed. I looked over and saw a dead body of a camper."
"No, I've been told that you were the last person to kill a young camper."
"I'm not lying. I don't remember what happened. I swear. I- I would never do that."
"Officer, she had a certain look in her eye, but it seem to have dissapeared when regained consciousness. Something seemed off, but now she's fine. And before you say anything, I am not defending her.."
"Ms. Y/L/N came in with blood splattered and doctor's couldn't determine if it was yours, or someone else's. And witnesses have stated that you were the last one to be seen around the deceased bodies."
"She did murder people, but now she's back to normal."
"Normal people don't chop up their friends,"
"I'm very aware, officer."
Sometime later the officer stepped out of the room as you watch him speak to a fellow partner. You didn't know if you killed anyone or not. Yeah, you had other's people's blood on you, but you would never hurt those dead campers and counselors. You would die for those kids in order to protect them, even if that meant you leaving Cindy behind.
He came back in, sighing and looking over at you with a serious expression.
"Look," He begins. "The city of Shadyside will not press charges. But you will have to go to court, and may have to serve sometime in community service or be declared insane, meaning you'll have to stay at a mental hospital till they believe you're ready to be released."
You sigh, glancing at both Cindy and Ziggy. "If it comes down to that, officer, then I will."
"Y/n, no. What are you thinking?" Ziggy questioned as her brows knitted together.
Cindy stayed silent, knowing that she was upset too, but didn't want to say anything.
"When do I go to court?"
"Well, we will have to arrest you and get an arrangement, then pre-trial hearing, followed by pre-trial motions. Then readiness hearings, trial. And finally, you'll be sentence to jail depending on what degree of murder you're charged with."
"Well, officer, you can arrest me now. Keep me in the hospital room till I am ready to leave, and then you can take me to jail."
"Okay."
The officer pulls out his handcuffs and places them on her pale wrist, and cuffing the other one to the handle beside you.
"Now, ma'am, you'll have an officer present outside the door, so if you leave you will be caught. We will have doctors and nurses monitor you, and when you're well enough, they will let us know."
You sat there, cuffed to the bed before your eyes move towards Cindy's pale and dirtied face. She had tears forming in her eyes, her hands began to shake. All you wanted to do was bring her into your embrace, but you knew that if you were responsible then you will need to stay away from the person you care most about.
Once when the officer leaves, you bring Ziggy into your embrace, saying your last goodbye to her as you cry into her pale and freckled shoulder. She sobs too, knowing that it'll be the last time you both see each other. Not wanting to let you go, she does anyway before stepping back as you motion Cindy over. At first, she's hesitant, but her sister gently pushes her toward your hospital bed. She gently grabbed your hand, staring into your eyes.
"Cindy, I'm so sorry, but it's best. Maybe I am a danger? Maybe I am insane? If I am, then going away will be best for the both of us, so I don't hurt you or Ziggy. Please, be happy when I'm gone-"
"Y/n, no. What are you saying?"
"I'm leaving, so please be happy. I love you so much, and hope you will keep me in your heart forever."
You bring her face down, planting your lips on her. The two of you stay there for a few seconds, pushing her back and telling her to leave. If Cindy stayed, you would have trouble moving on with your life. And that's what she did, she took Ziggy and left the room, shutting the door behind her.
You find a tray nearby, eyeing a scalpel sitting on top. The tray wasn't far from your feet as you move your leg, hooking your foot and rolling it towards you. You lean over and grab the tool, and bring it to your throat. Tears pour from your eyes while you think about Cindy, digging the scalpel into your neck, drawing blood before continuing. You slit your throat and drop the blade, gurggling on the blood forming in your mouth and choke at the same time.
A massive wave of blood flows below you, soaking your gown and bed beneath your dying body. Soon enough, your head bobbles to the side as death takes over you.
A few minutes later, Cindy comes back to give you a piece of her mind before seeing your bloodied corpse, dropping to her knees and letting out a distressing cry her baby sister never heard before.
"How could you do this to me, Y/N..." She sobbed, not being able to anything else but get comforted by Ziggy.
At least now you won't be accused and punished. You are free, and ready to forever sleep with the ones who you were supposed to protect.

He finds her subtle laugh at the sight of his business partner rather endearing, making Selena look even more beautiful than she already was. While other men might've found this gesture insulting, Xuan found himself smiling too, in agreement to the fact that yes, the other man was indeed rather ridiculous in the way he was swaging around the other women with whatever stupid things he deemed himself admirable for. After all, Xuan disliked this kind of men who thought themselves to be the center of the universe and who expected everyone to bend in backwards for them and kiss their feet.
"You're pretty when you smile like that. You should do it more often. It looks much better than the fake smile from earlier." He added before nodding his head and following her. "Indeed, lets not make him wait. A little bit more and I feel like he'll end up fainting from his high blood pressure." Sketching a smirk and a mocking snort of his own, Xuan shook his head in disagreement at the way his associate behaved. Following her lead, Xuan then starts looking around the bar at the various 'attractions' Selena was pointing at, humming and nodding at her explanation. Sure, while he didn't really care much about the place itself, since this might've been his one and only time stepping foot in here, the raven haired man still didn't want to seem impolite or dismissive of the woman's efforts of doing her job as best she could. He was a man that appreciated hard work after all, in all of its forms. "I see... Well, since you take pride in the variety of drinks you offer, I guess I'll leave myself in your hands, my lady. Surprise and impress me tonight." Another charming smile follows the words, signaling that so far, the young mob was enjoying their interaction. "As for my desires, it remains for us to see if you'll be able to fulfill them, sweet moon goddess..." Xuan leans in to whisper in her ear before they finally reach their destination. A little challenge it seems, even if the matter of the fact was that there was that someone was yet to appear who'd be able to withstand this proud dragon's scorching flame.
"Ah, Mr. Hyun! It's a pleasure to see you here tonight!" Xuan bows slightly in the customary respectful gesture of greeting, to which the other man's eyes widen for a moment before he sketches a big goofy drunk smile and gets up to hug him. "Xuan! What took you so long to get here?! A little bit more and we would've drank all the good stuff here without you! Come now, sit sit!" The other man, identifying as Hyun based on what Xuan addressed him, pushes to the side one of the women next to him to make space for the green eyed man and motions for him to sit down.
Xuan however chooses to put some space in between him and the man and declines the gesture, opting to sit opposite him in the booth, so that Selena could sit by his side without getting the other guy or his girls in their way. "Thank you for the offer, Selena my dear. Whilst I must admit that Champagne of the finest kind is my favorite, I wouldn't mind trying something new either, so as I said earlier, I'll let you surprise me." He addresses the woman, completely disregarding his associate who in turn sketches a scoff and nudges one of his own escorts to pour him another round to drink as well. Only once he's done talking to Selena, Xuan finally turns his attention back to Hyun. "So, Mr. Hyun, the thing you wanted us to talk about? If I remember right from your letter, you're looking for someone to help take out one of your competitors, right?" The green of his eyes darken and his smirk from earlier starts fading again now that Xuan is back to his serious mood. After all, he was here for business, not for partying, and he wanted to make this clear to his associate too. "I can get the work done, no problem. But first, how much are we speaking in terms of numbers? You know my services aren't of the cheap kind and I won't waste my time here if the sum isn't one of interest."

It’s the way he takes her hand, lifting it to his lips for a customary kiss that catches her off guard. The kind of surprise she actually welcomes. A gentleman’s gesture—could the gods of nightlife finally be answering her prayers? Unlike the typical patrons who seek only fleeting pleasure and ego boosts, showing little regard for the women they encounter, this hand kiss signifies care, refinement, and charm. Her smile is the perfect response to that. As he mentions not wanting to make his partner wait, she glances over her shoulder, suppressing a laugh. His associate, deep into bottles and distractions, is thoroughly enjoying himself. She turns her attention back to the Feng heir. “That’s very thoughtful of you, Sir,” she begins, stepping forward to lead him. “We wouldn’t want him getting impatient, would we?” The humor in her tone reflects the associate's current state, even though she tries not to be too obvious about it, in case Mister Feng, him, desires to focus on business. Indeed, erhaps the Feng heir is here for business, but when he calls her beautiful, she genuinely appreciates it. “Thank you, Sir,” she replies with a warm smile, “for a beautiful man to call me beautiful.” She starts walking, guiding him through the club. “The Red Line is here to fulfill all your desires tonight,” she says, gesturing to the stage where dancers move sensually and men sit captivated in the booths. “Our bar offers a wide array of elixirs—just let me know what you desire, and I’ll make sure your glass is never empty.” As they reach a large table where her associate and his entourage are gathered, she awaits for him to sit first before taking her place beside him. “As for my name,” she says with a smile, “I am Selena.” Though her real name is Sena, Selena is her escort persona. “Like the goddess of the moon, I’ll do my best to light up your night.” Turning to the group, she introduces him with a flourish. “Everyone, say hello to Mister Feng.” The girls offer their greetings, and the evening unfolds with promise. Oh she just knows the other girls are jealous the minute they land their eyes on him, he's too handsome, isn't he? She needs to stay focused though. "Mm anything you wish to start the night with, Sir? Even if the table is having champagne, I have my personal favorites we can share together... Something a little more special and unique." She teases. It is in her personality to do so, Selena is a tease, she's playful somethinng a little light about her, her words, her smiling doe eyes. "Want a taste, are you in for the experience?"

yandere!EraserMic x Reader
Mic skips a couple of steps and brings their darling home earlier than planned.
18+ only
tw: mention of blood, kidnapping, restraints
Hizashi felt panic bubble up his throat as he aggressively ran his fingers through his hair. This wasn't good, he wasn't good. He fumbled around trying to pull out his phone so he could message Shota.
-Sho, when are you getting home???
Probably in a few hours...-
why-
Shaking, the blonde continued:
-I brought her home
Hizashi was convinced he'd burn a whole in the rug with his pacing. Staring at his phone screen it looked like Shota was responding, then it stopped, started, stopped, and started. Finally after what felt like forever he got a simple reply:
I'll be home in 15 -
---
"Mic, what did you do?" Aizawa sighed. The grumpy man intended to scold his partner but he couldn't bring himself to do so when Mic was so close to a full on panic attack.
"She agreed to meet up with her ex, he was talking about getting back together and I panicked."
Aizawa sighed; he understood where his partner was coming from. Even though Hazashi had abandoned their plan to wait, he was no longer surprised by Mic's actions. There was an understanding between the pair as the atmosphere softened.
Mic lead him down the basement stairs, instead of using the overhead light there was already a dull glow from nightlight that allowed the Pro Heroes to see well enough. On the bed in front of them the comforter rose and fell along with the breath of their darling.
"She should be asleep for another hour or two," Mic whispered. "I only cuffed one wrist to the bed, I figured without her quirk she won't be too troublesome."
Aizawa lovingly rolled his eyes. His partner was such a softy. Nodding in agreement he moved the blanket aside to see the clunky metal quirk-cancelling cuff encircling her ankle. The two had plenty of equipment from their jobs that allowed them to make a "safe" space for their girl.
The couple had stumbled across you on accident; you worked at the new cat cafe that opened near their home. The two quickly became regulars and you snagged their hearts when you recognized them as cafe regulars. They went every Sunday, you had their orders memorized and even told them which cats seemed to miss them the most. Hizashi fell hard and fast. It wasn't until Aizawa found you crying in the ally after one of your shifts that your fate was sealed. You told him that one of the cats ran out of the cafe earlier that day got hit by a car. Learning about the death of a cat wasn't the only thing breaking his heart.
When he got home that evening he told Hizashi. They both agreed that you needed to be protected, shielded from the pain of reality, and never subjected to cat-death-by-car ever again. Essentially they baby proofed their home for you. Anything dangerous (from silverware to chemicals) was locked away. Eraserhead installed cameras throughout the house that streamed to both of their phones. The windows were locked and shatter resistant and they even installed a top of the line security system.
Then came the stalking, both kept tabs on you - in their minds they both casual about it. Aizawa even visited you (broke in) one night to bug your phone. This was how the learned about your ex. The breakup was amicable enough that you two occasionally checked in on each other. After all, you had been together from middle school all the way through your teens. The two of you just wanted and were ready for different things.
---
Sure enough, two hours later they could hear your faint scream travel up from the basement. Mic had taken care of the acoustics, of course. He made sure that not a peep could be heard from outside of the house; even before you were in the picture this was in place for his quirk. Between each floor of their house he also added sound minimizing flooring and installation. They needed to be able to hear you but also maintain their sanity.
"M-mr. Yamada? Mr Aizawa?"
Your wide eyes were filled to the brim with tears. As Mic sat on the edge of the bed you withdrew as far as you could from him.
Aizawa seemed more conscientious of your space; instead he knelt in front of the bed so he was at least on your level.
He was the first to speak, "There's no need to scream, y/n, you're safe here. It's just Zashi and I."
The tears finally spilled over. You tried asking them to let you go, that you wouldn't say anything. You told them you had work this evening (even if you didn't) and that they'd know something was wrong if you didn't show up. What made it worse was that the men just kept nodding, taking in every plea you made.
Finally Mic cut you off, "You don't have to worry about work anymore, me and Sho are gonna take care of you, it'll be great. We won't have to wait a whole week to spend time together."
"You can't," You hiccupped, "this is illegal. Once they find out you'll be in trouble."
It was as if they didn't hear you. Mic just kept rambling about what you three could do together and how perfect everything was and how you'd love living with them.
Aizawa on the other hand sighed and indicated to Mic that he should get off the bed. "It's a lot to take in right now, new environments can be scary. You should get some more rest, Zashi gave you a pretty strong sedative."
That explained the pounding in your head. You didn't bother to keep yelling as the ascended the stairs. Instead you focused on not crying. You kept telling yourself that now wasn't the time for tears. You needed to get away from your abductors. You had never been in handcuffs before, you tried pulling against the bed frame in hopes that something would give way. As you expected, nothing really happened. The cuff was secured tightly around your wrist and with every pull came a dull pain in your hand. There wasn't anything useful within your reach.
After crying on the bed for what felt like an eternity you were all out of tears. You thought back to a movie you saw last summer, this detective was cuffed to a furnace and he pulled his hand free. However, that guy definitely lost the flesh on his hand and probably broke something. Your stomach churned at the thought. Then your mind wandered to terrible things the men could do to you. What if they were cannibals? Or wanted to sell your organs on the black market? Weighing the pros and cons you began to pull violently away from the bedpost. The metal dug into your skin and you couldn't help but scream. Hopefully your captors wouldn't come until you were free. There was a small window at the very top of the adjacent wall maybe you could squeeze through.
The searing pain became too much and you stopped to collect yourself. There were already gashes along the base of your wrist and blood coated the handcuffs. You stifled a cry as you resumed your work. You let out a blood-curdling scream when you felt a pop. Instead of freedom, you felt even more trapped. Your thumb looks wrong and looked like it was caught half way in the handcuff and halfway out. Movies make everything seem so much easier.
Light poured in as the door to the basement opened. Panicking you concealed the evidence under the blanket. Both of your hands and parts of your clothes were painted with blood.
"Hey kitten," Aizawa cooed. "We brought you some water. Are you feeling any better."
It was Mic who noticed first. You flinched as his hands cupped your face, his thumb ran along your cheek and you felt something slick.
His voice was rushed and panicked, "Sweet girl, this is blood. Shota come here, y/n is bleeding."
The blonde man handles your face and neck trying to find the source of the bleeding.
You pulled the blanket tighter, "I'm okay, please let me go."
Then Aizawa noticed the specks of blood on the sheets. He tugged at the blankets until you couldn't hold on any more. You were really only holding on with one good hand. You couldn't recall seeing that much emotion on his face in the past.
"Mic go get the first aid kit, now," Eraser's voice was strained and quiet but it sent the other man scattering up the stairs. He pulled a key out of his pocket and unlocked the cuff. Instinctively your cradled the hand to your chest, crying for the umph-teenth time that day. The scruffy man pulled you on to his lap, cradling your head to his chest like you would a child.
"You're okay, Mic's gonna get the first aid kit and we're gonna get you all taken care of."
When it came to flight or fight involving direct confrontation, you chose the third option: freeze. You focus on your breathing as the man continued to soothe you. You could hear Mic nearly throw himself down the stairs as he made his was back to your side.
Mic was gentle with your wound, after cleaning the blood off the cuts were visibly deep but not as bad as it seemed. Aizawa told him that it looked like your thumb was dislocated and that he would fix it once the bleeding stopped.
As Hizashi continued to apply pressure you were able to hear him sniffling as he held back tears of his own. Aizawa reached over to comfort Mic as he continued his fawning over you, "You're safe, everything's okay now. We should've known that you would get scared, all by yourself down here. We won't leave you alone again, especially while you're adjusting to your new home."

Part I - The First Year
Hogwarts will be fun was the first thought you had when you opened the letter in your hands.
Tony, your older brother, ruffled your hair slightly as he came down into the kitchen and watched you open the mail.
"Your letter finally arrived, huh, little witch?" He joked with a smile as he sat down at the table.
"I can't wait to go!" You commented excitedly rereading the acceptance letter for the third time.
"Miss, after coffee, can we go to diagonal alley if you like?" Jarvis, your butler, asked you politely as he poured Tony's coffee making you hesitate slightly. Tony, who had his eye on you, forced a smile as he patted you on the arm.
"I'll go with you, don't worry." He assured and you nodded.
"I wish dad would come." You grumble as you sit down and Tony sighs.
" Yeah, me too." He says. "But you know he's busy, and we can't leave it to the last minute."
You mumble in agreement as you serve some sweetbreads on your plate.
Eating in silence for a few moments, you are startled slightly when Tony lets out an exclamation.
"Damn, I forgot to write back to Steve." He announces getting up and walking over to the next shelf where there were some stationery and pen.
"Your boyfriend will be upset." You tease lightly, and Tony mumbles softly without responding.
When he finishes writing the letter, he goes to the kitchen window and opens the metal, whistling loudly in a familiar rhythm. A few seconds later, Iron, his barn owl lands in front of him. Tony stroked the animal gently before dangling the letter in his paws.
" Please take this to Steve, Iron." He ordered and the animal made a noise before flying away again.
"Jarvis, I'll get ready to go." You tell the man as soon as you finish eating and head off toward the stairs.
//-//
Diagonal Alley is a noisy place.
Tony asked you to walk beside him, but you stopped walking at the first Quidditch shop you spotted, and he had to turn back halfway when he noticed you were no longer beside him.
"Don't do that." He warned, mildly annoyed, but you glazed over at the exposed broom in front of you, and he let out a chuckle when he noticed. "Come on, Y/N, you already have a broom."
"But that's no ordinary broom." You retorted with an impressed look. "It's a Nimbus 2000, it's the fastest broom there is."
"You have the 99, I don't understand the difference." He retorted with his hands in his pockets and you shrugged.
"Tony, can we buy it?" You asked pleadingly, making your brother laugh slightly.
"Let's buy your stuff first please" He retorted with a smile and you grumbled but accepted the arm he offered for you to hang on. Jarvis walked behind you with a keen eye on your surroundings.
After you had bought the vast majority of your supplies and replenished your stocks of potions items for Tony, Jarvis took you to Blossoms and Blurbs to buy this year's books.
"Good morning! Hogwarts, third and first year books, please." You heard Jarvis tell the clerk who approached you three. Tony nodded his head signaling you to feel free to walk around the bookstore in the meantime, and that is exactly what you did.
You found many interesting books in the place as you walked among the shelves. One in particular caught your attention, as there seemed to be little miniature magical creatures trying to jump out of the cover, and you grabbed it on a table, watching the item carefully.
You smiled when an ink dragon jumped into your hand, moving your head as if you were looking around. Distracted by the book, you let out a low exclamation when someone bumped into you.
"Sorry, kid." You heard a female voice speak in a humorous tone. It is a girl taller than you, short red hair. "I ended up tripping over some of those runner books."
"It's okay." You said with a smile. The girl looked at the one book in your hands for a moment.
"Do you enjoy creature tracts?" She asks casually as she reaches for a book on the bookshelf beside her.
"I don't know yet." You say and she looks at you slightly confused, "I never studied."
"Ah, first-year." She understands and you nod in agreement. "Hogwarts too or some other?"
"Hogwarts."
"Cool, I guess I'll see you there then." She says. "I'm from Slytherin, third year."
You let out a surprised exclamation.
"Maybe you know my brother." You say and the girl takes her gaze from the books in her hand she was checking to look at you with her eyebrow raised in curiosity. "His name is Tony Stark, he's also from your house."
The girl lets out a short laugh.
"I can't believe you are Stark's sister." She says. "We're not exactly friends, but I've seen him around the dorm several times. And your brother is a pain in the ass, by the way."
You laugh lightly, agreeing.
"I am Natasha Romanoff." She introduces herself next, balancing her books in one hand to greet you. You introduce yourself with a gentle smile. "Good luck with your books." She says before turning away.
You think it's cool that you already know someone besides your brother before you start at Hogwarts.
//-//
Buying your wand is a rather strange experience.
Mr. Ollivander has a glint in his eye as if he knows everyone's secrets, and seems to disappear and reappear in his store very easily.
Tony sat on one of the stools while he waited for you, and Jarvis went to buy something for you two to eat.
After trying almost five wands, and exploding a glass vase when he tried the last one, Mr. Ollivander sighed.
"Sorry, I don't know why it's not working." You asked feeling nervous, but he smiled.
"Don't worry, dear." He said. "Difficult customers are so much fun."
He walked back in between the shelves after that, and then reappeared with three new packages.
"I remember when Howard Stark bought his wand." He told smiling nostalgically as you opened one of the packages, a black wand in front of you. "Phoenix, Cedar, slightly flexible."
"Dad has changed wands thousands of times." Added Tony wryly, but Mr. Ollivander didn't seem to mind.
The wand you tested let out a faint spark when you tried to cast a simple conjuration spell, and the man in front of you was quick to take it from your hand the next second.
"I think I have a better idea." He announced turning around, and then climbed the ladder supported by the wall, picking up a package at the top.
"Try this one dear." He asked handing you a dark wand, the wood was shiny, a color you didn't know exactly what it was, but it was beautiful.
When you grabbed the item, you felt a tingling sensation spread throughout your hand, and the wand vibrated slightly for a few seconds, causing Ollivander to let out a noise of excitement.
"You see, I knew I would find an owner for you dear." He spoke and you realized that he was speaking with the item in your hands. Soon he turned his gaze back to you. "Take good care of this one, will you, it was quite difficult to get dark elf blood for the core."
"R-right." You said with a slight frown, not quite sure what to make of that information.
Tony laughed lightly at the interaction, he should be used to Mr. Ollivander's eccentric manner by now, since he kept breaking his wands just like your father and often returned to the store to get a new one.
After paying, you and Tony met Jarvis outside, he was carrying some sweet rolls.
//-//
July ended too quickly for your happiness. You were very eager to go to school.
You spent most of August at home, playing quidditch with Tony in the backyard, curiously reading the magic books you bought, and trying to peek into the basement where your father worked, but he always caught you looking and smiled, asking you to go back to your room.
You would like your father to take you to the station, but he said he had a magic conference in September, and would be traveling for the next few weeks. Tony was upset, but he put his arm around your shoulders and asked you to hurry to get your bags.
When you finally got to the station, you were slightly nervous about going through a wall, but Tony laughed, and showed you how to go first.
You hugged Jarvis good-bye before following your brother along the way.
Tony dragged you across the train cars to the first empty cabin he could find. He commented that it would be nice if you made your own friends, but that he would like you to sit with him.
So here you were, sitting with Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes, Tony's best friends since the first year. The boys smiled encouragingly at you. You already knew them, because Tony kept inviting them to spend holidays with him all the time.
"Hey, Y/N, how was your vacation?" Steve asked as soon as you sat down next to him. You shrugged, saying that it was nice, but that you were looking forward to attending Hogwarts.
Soon the boys started talking about what they were excited about next year, and you did your best to keep up, not knowing exactly who the people they mentioned were, or knowing the classes they talked about.
Many minutes after the train was moving, a girl opened the cabin door.
"Hey, strangers." She greeted with a smile.
"Hi Peggy." Steve said with a smile, you frowned at the slight scowl on your brother's face.
"They're calling for us in the prefects compartment, Steve." She warned and Steve nodded, getting up. He and the girl then left, and Tony crossed his arms.
"What's wrong?" You asked noticing his posture and the way Bucky had a little smile on his face.
"It's nothing." Grumbled your brother, and as he turned his face to the window, Bucky who was standing in front of you, whispered to you.
"Tony thinks Peggy likes Steve." He recounted. "So he doesn't like Peggy very much."
"Oh." You said, pretending to understand the whole plot. It didn't make much sense to you because everyone couldn't be friends, but you figured that when you were your brother's age you would understand better.
//-//
The Hogwarts Express only stopped at night.
Properly uniformed, you smiled when your brother patted you on the shoulder, telling you that he would meet you at the castle, since the first-year students had to go by boat.
Your hands were sweating a little as you walked up to the extraordinarily tall man who introduced himself as Drax.
"First-year students, please, six in each boat." He shouted to the crowd, and the students moved closer together.
You sat in one of the first little boats, five other children you didn't know surrounding you.
"I'm so excited." A blonde girl commented cheerfully, waving her hands. She smiled at everyone as she introduced herself as "Harley Quinn".
"I bet you''ll blow something up once we get there, Harley" Added a redheaded girl sitting next to you, you could tell by her tone that they were probably friends. The blonde, Harley, laughed.
"Shut up, Ivy." She said, and then Drax was back, climbing into one of the boats beside her. He checked the boats one last time, then waved his hand, and the transports began to move.
Everyone, including you, let out a chorus of excitement.
When you noticed the castle, you smiled. It was huge, and just as amazing as Tony used to tell you.
"Wow, it must be amazing to fly over all that." You quietly observed, and the girl next to you turned her head in your direction, smiling.
"Do you like flying?" She asked, and you nodded. She looked at you for a moment and then held out her hand to greet you. "I am Diana. Diana Prince."
"Hi, Diana." You said introducing yourself next. "Do you also like to fly?"
"I love it." She says. "I hope i can make it onto the team."
"I don't know if the first-years have any chance, but I'll be rooting for you." You assure, and Diana smiles.
When the boats stop in the harbor, the students are all excited to get out and see the castle, but Drax's almost intimidating posture makes everyone properly behaved.
He leads the crowd to the staircase, and then there is a lobby. There is a woman waiting for everyone, her strict posture makes you think she is someone you wouldn't want to upset.
"Welcome to Hogwarts." She announces. "I am Professor Okoye, head of Gryffindor house."
The students exchange burbles next, but the teacher's gaze shuts them up almost immediately.
"As long as you are here, your houses will be like your families." She continues. "Your triumphs will earn you points, and if you break any rules, those points will be taken away."
She says, casting a disapproving glance at one of the students in the corner, who giggled. "In a few moments we will begin the sorting hat ceremony."
The teacher then turns around, heading toward a large bronze door, and talking to someone on the other side. You hear someone laughing near you, and you turn your head to the side in curiosity.
It was a blond boy, and he seemed to be enjoying himself as he balanced one of the gold cups he picked up from the surrounding shelves. You thought he would be in trouble if he knocked it over, and this seemed to be exactly the same opinion as the girl next to him, who was looking at him disapprovingly.
"Stop being an idiot, Peter, put that back." She complained and he laughed, shrugging.
"Gamora, you're a spoilsport you know." He retorted and when he put the cup back, it spun and fell to the floor, breaking into several pieces. The boy turned pale as Teacher Okoye turned her head in his direction.
You rolled your eyes, walking over to them.
"Reparo" You said drawing your wand as you pointed at the broken object. Some children let out impressed exclamations when they saw the bowl form again, but you just put your wand away in shame. It was no big deal. Okoye caught up with the three of you next, looking reproachfully at the boy.
"I expect better behavior during the ceremony, sir..."
"Quill"
"Mister Quill." She completed and took one last look at the boy that had with his head down before turning back to the front of the crowd again, waving for the students to follow her.
"Hey, that was pretty cool." Peter commented beside you as you walked. You shrugged, focusing on the path.
//-//
The sorting hat was something exceptional.
Tony never told you how the choice was made, and you knew it was only to annoy you. He had sometimes joked that the students faced each other in a duel, and even though you told him to shut up, you had a look at his spell book before you came.
The actual ceremony was much simpler, however.
When it was your turn to climb onto the small stool, you bit your lips, hoping that everything would go smoothly. Just as the old cloth of the hat fell over your eyes, blocking your view of the rest of the hall, you heard a voice in your head.
" Hello, dear, no need to be so nervous." Announced the hat gently. "You are a curious little thing, I see."
"Is that a good thing?" You thought, and the hat chuckled lightly.
"It might be." He said mysteriously. "Interesting what I see here. Very interesting."
"What are you seeing?"
"Your memories, dear."
"Oh." You thought, feeling slightly embarrassed. That seemed like an intrusion of your privacy. The hat laughed again, and you remembered that he was on your head.
"You're hard to sort out." He says, and you squeeze the stool. "Don't worry, I'm not going to send you home, that's not how it works."
"Oh, right."
Hat was silent a few moments.
"I see courage in your heart." He says and you try to remember the characteristics of the houses. "But that courage is well forged with your loyalty."
You swallow dryly, feeling your anxiety rising. This was definitely taking much longer than the people who went before you.
"You are as smart as your father and brother, both members of the Slytherin house." He says.  "There's a willingness not to let them down."
"That's personal." You grumble feeling your cheeks flush, but the hat doesn't care to apologize for bringing up your insecurities.
"Ah, this is interesting here. A pure kindness, yet pruned in your origins of shallow paternal affection”.
You frown, not understanding what he is saying.
"You are quite adaptable child, it has always been one of your best virtues." The hat remarks, and you get the impression that the next part is only said for you. "Tell me, where would you like to stay?"
"Isn't that your job?" You retort in thought, and hear him laugh again. You rush to correct yourself, not wanting to be rude. "Sorry, hat. I don't really know. I'd like to stay where I fit in best."
"You would do well anywhere." He retorts, and you frown. "And that's pretty impressive, you know. I haven't met another hatstall since the last century."
You swallow dryly, not knowing if that was a good thing or a bad thing.
"I'll work hard, sir." You tell him. "I don't want people to think I'm a special witch just because of my family. That's something I'm sure, I don't know if it helps you choose."
Hat lets out a sigh of relief.
"Actually, that's exactly what I needed."
It takes a moment for him to speak again, and when he does, you feel your whole body shake.
"Hufflepuff"
//-//
Steve Rogers is the head boy of Hufflepuff and he celebrates excitedly when you sit down at the table next to him.
"That's so cool" He comments. "I'll be able to tease Tony all year about it."
After that, director Agatha Harkness, made the announcement of the beginning of the year. If her goal was to scare the students, she succeeded when she talked about the deadly dangers surrounding the forbidden forest and the punishments for the disobedient. Professor Strange interrupted her speech as he cleared his throat, awkwardly waving for Agatha to stop saying such things, and the woman giggled.
Dinner is delicious, and then you are following the crowd of students into the communal rooms.
"Butterbeer" Steve said to the portrait on the wall, and you blinked in surprise when the painting moved to the side, a door behind.
You sighed when you realized how cozy the Hufflepuff's common room was.
"Everyone please come in." Asked Steve in the center of the room, waving to the students who stayed behind. When everyone was around him, he smiled. "The dorms are divided by gender, but you can sleep wherever you feel most comfortable. I will only suggest that none of you try to sleep with the seventh graders, because they are scary." Steve joked making the crowd laugh lightly. "We have a supply of food in those lockers, just in case you feel like having a snack in the early morning, outside of the permitted hours for walking around the castle." He continues and stands thoughtfully for a few moments. "Most of the things you need to know are on the bulletin board on that wall, and you can also ask me anything you want. Your belongings have already been taken to the free beds, but if you want any help, you can organize among yourselves or just come talk to me."
Steve smiled as the crowd moved. You headed in the direction where he said the rooms were.
//-//
You let out a surprised exclamation as something landed on your head.
"Damn, sorry!" Asked an asian girl approaching you, and pulling the small being out of your hair as you entered the room. "Groot, I told you to behave yourself."
"I am groot." Grumbled the little creature. You looked at it wide-eyed, impressed.
"Wow, is that a tree?"
The girl laughed, putting the small creature sitting on her shoulder, sitting on the bed next to the one you identified as having your things.
"Yes and no." She said. "I found Groot in my garden over the vacations, and well, I don't know what he is exactly. But I think he was trying to make my mother's plants grow."
"He's really cute." You commented approaching with your finger extended. Groot smiled, accepting your touch.
"I am Mantis." Says the girl next and you smile at her as you introduce yourself. "We're going to be roommates."
"Yes, and so is Groot." You add as you take off your cape to throw on the bed that would be yours.
After eating so well at dinner, it doesn't take long for you to fall asleep.
You dream of glowing green eyes and a red light, but you don't recognize them or understand what it means, and when you wake up, you no longer remember.
//-//
Two weeks since you started at Hogwarts, you are used to how eccentric everything can be.
The classes weren't as difficult as you imagined, but that's probably because you've had contact with magic all your life and always had an easy time learning things. All the teachers were unique in their own way.
Professor Rocket, for example, taught Transfiguration and spent almost the entire period transfigured into a raccoon, even outside of class hours. He was temperamental and got irritated very easily when students talked too much in his class, so it was not recommended to do so.
There was also Professor Fury, who had an eye patch as a mandatory piece in his daily costume, and all the students spent more time trying to guess how this happened, than listening to his explanations of defense spells against the dark art.
Your astronomy class on Wednesdays was taught by Professor Odin, who like to claim that he was a descendant of the Olympian gods, but no one believed him. He was also the father of two of your classmates, Thor and Loki Odinson, who were the exact opposite of each other. While Thor was warm and friendly, Loki was cold and reclusive, plus the former was from Gryffindor and the other from Slytherin. Surprisingly, you liked them both.
You ended up meeting the head of your house only on the second day.
Professor Heimdall taught Divination, so you wouldn't have any classes with him until the third year. You bumped into him when you were late for fifth period and had to run to the common room for your Potions books, and almost fell on the floor when you turned the corner without looking and the professor was there.  He prevented you from falling with a wave of his wand, smiling gently.
" Forgive me." You said clumsily, feeling slightly intimidated by the yellow irises as the magic set you on your feet properly, as well as catching your books in the air and placing them in your hands again.
"Be careful with the castle corridors, Miss Stark." Said the man, and for some reason, you thought he wasn't just talking about this little incident.
"Professor Heimdall, let's talk in a private place, please."  Asked Professor Okoye, who was standing at his side, she looked at you with a certain disapproval, and you couldn't tell whether it was because of your intrusion, or the fact that your tie was hanging loosely around your neck, in addition to the open buttons on your shirt.
After this little incident, you asked Steve who Professor Heimdall was, and he explained that he was the head of Hufflepuff, and might seem intimidating at first glance, but that he was very kind.
But so far, the professor who has intrigued you the most was Professor Erik Lehnsherr, who taught Potions. He didn't say anything that wasn't related to the subject, didn't make any comments about behavior or events at school. And he had such a stern and mysterious look in his eyes that no student had the courage to ask him anything. You heard Peter Quill make a bet with Thor Odinson that Professor Erik was unable to smile because of some particular sorcery, but you thought it best not to laugh, especially since Mr. Lehnsherr was looking at your direction.
When you had your first Potions period with Slytherin, after herbology professor T'Challa needed to reschedule classes for an appointment, you were surprised to discover that professor Lehnsherr had children.
Gamora ended up on the same bench as you, and she was talking to her sister, Nebula, about an incident that occurred in their dormitory.
"Clearly, the professors' children have an easy time getting away with punishment." Nebula bitterly remarked, and you frowned in confusion.
"I don't think it was the girl's fault." Gamora retorted as she put the ingredients into her cauldron. She looked at you quickly, realizing that you were listening to the conversation, but she didn't scold you, she just kept stirring the mixture.
"What happened?" you asked next, and Nebula looked at you with mild irritation. She seemed about to tell you to mind your own business, but Gamora smiled, moving closer to whisper to you.
"A girl lost her temper in the Slytherin dorm bathrooms last night." She told. "She's a second year, her name is Wanda Maximoff. She and her brother are Professor Lehnsherr's kids, and everyone is saying that she didn't go to detention because of it."
Your jaw dropped, impressed.
"I can't believe Magneto has children." You said making Gamora and Nebula laugh at the nickname. Last week you found out that the school had been calling Erik that since he stopped the hall chandelier from falling on the teachers' desk two years ago when he used non-verbal magic to attract the metal, and everyone started calling him that behind his back. Tony told you and you liked the story.
"I know right, he seems so self-contained." Gamora remarked looking back briefly. Professor Erik was focused on his own potions book.
"That noisy kid from Gryffindor said he's married." Nebula added next and Gamora laughed lightly.
"Peter Quill?"
"Yes."
"Wow, that's surprising." Says the girl. You both return to stirring your cauldrons in silence after that little conversation.
When you have finished your mixing, Professor Erik gives Hufflepuff five points for your good work, and you smile with red cheeks.
"You're nice." Nebula suddenly said beside you as you were leaving the room. Gamora stood next to her. "Do you want to walk around with us?"
"We're already walking." You joked and Gamora laughed unlike her sister who grimaced.
"Yep, definitely cool." She added. "Do you want to have lunch with us?"
"At your table or mine?"
Gamora and Nebula exchanged glances.
"I'm not sitting with Hufflepuff." Nebula declared and you sighed, rolling your eyes.
"You know I'm from Hufflepuff, right?"
"I'm reconsidering the invitation." She retorted and you frowned, but Gamora smiled at you.
"Will you sit with us, please?"
You sighed, nodding in agreement. You could talk to Tony after all.
//-//
Lunch at the Slytherin table became an everyday thing after that day. It took two weeks for Mantis to start joining you, and then you realized that you had a small group of friends now.
At Christmas, neither you nor Tony came home, because your father was working and you didn't want to be alone in the Stark mansion. You ended up turning down Tony's invitation to spend Christmas with Steve Rogers and his family, because you weren't really friends with Steve. Tony insisted, not wanting you to be alone, but you assured him that you would be fine in the company of your friends, and that he needn't worry.
On Christmas morning, Groot woke you up by jumping on your face. You laughed lightly because he was so small that he was like a tickle, and stood up as you returned the little creature to Mantis' bedside table.
A few hours later, as you were opening your presents at the Slytherin table along with Gamora, Nebula, Mantis, and Peter Quill, who had also stayed at Hogwarts for the end of the year, you let out an excited exclamation.
"I can' believe it." You spoke, opening the package in front of you. It was a large box, it was bewitched and only revealed the actual wrapping once you tore the paper off. It was actually a broom.
"Wow, that's cool." Peter remarked as he looked at your present.
That's how you ended up in the middle of the snow, testing your new broom while your friends cheered and celebrated below you.
"Are you sure you can fly?" You asked Peter as soon as he asked you if he could ride. He shrugged, smiling.
You and the girls watched as he controlled the broom for a few feet above the ground, and then he overspeeded it and sped away.
You all ran into his direction, while the broom seemed almost annoyed at his lack of control, and knocked him into a tree. Peter fell between the branches, onto someone who was resting under it.
When you all reached him, you frowned when there was a boy pushing Quill.
"Watch it, dude!" Warned the boy, but before you could say anything, Gamora was already stepping forward, wand in hand.
"It was just an accident." She said and the boy looked at her surprised with her wand outstretched. He crossed his arms however, not looking scared.
"Oh, you're going to spell me now, are you?" He teased.
"Piss off, Maximoff." Warned Nebula next, taking a step beside her sister. So this was Pietro Maximoff. You figured that confidence should come from being the son of one of the professors.
"I suggest you leave my brother alone." Warned a voice behind you. You turned next, only to catch sight of a girl with brown hair, green eyes that glittered with anger.
Gamora clenched her jaw, and Nebula drew her own wand toward the girl, who also had her wand in her hands.
You sighed, raising your hands as you stood in the line of fire.
"Would everyone please calm down?" You asked. "It was just a misunderstanding, and the broom is mine anyway, no need to fight about it."
It takes a moment, but Gamora puts down her wand, and everyone follows her after that. She has an insinuating smile on her face.
"You really are a Hufflepuff, aren't you Stark?" She teases, and you laugh sheepishly, putting your hands in your pockets.  "Come on Quill."
Gamora warns and the boy shoots Pietro an ugly look as he leaves. You accept your broom that he hands to you, and turn around, your gaze meeting that of the girl who is supposed to be Wanda Maximoff for a moment. You feel your face heat up at the intensity of the angry look, and you look away, following your friends.
//-//
The months went by quickly as the rest of the school year passed. You managed to do very well on the exams, and didn't get involved in any near-fights again.
When the year ended and the Hufflepuff didn't win the House Cup, you thought you should have been more upset, but you didn't mind having Gamora and Nebula celebrating beside you, laughing and hugging you excitedly.
You also didn't understand why you felt your stomach turn when you caught Wanda Maximoff smiling amidst the Slytherin celebration when you looked around.

He was toying with her, and it was obvious, of course, but Gustav had never let things like that stop him from having his fun. He wanted to see her angry; it was like free entertainment to him. The woman’s beauty and dignity were small in comparison to her power, and for the life of him, Gustav couldn’t understand why she didn't let that power roar. She was still too human, even after all these years, and like humans, she let her money speak for her instead of the strength she possessed. Something about this annoyed Gustav. Everyone in his cursed family was just so damn controlled. They threw their stupid parties and bought food that gave them no sustenance at all, and the top shelf booze they poured down their guests throat to dull their senses needed three times the amount humans needed to affect them at all. Gustav could recall his early days after turning, drinking a tavern dry only to get a small buzz going. In his rage over how the simple pleasures of life were taken from him, he’d ended up slaughtering the patrons, barmaids, and proprietor, and it was only then that he’d felt something.
“It’s a fucking rug, Leda. Get a new one. One that’s ‘in season’ or whatever vogue terms you women throw around these days.” He bitterly hissed back. Leda, like their maker, bored him. They existed centuries before him, and had seen so much that life had to offer already that they were no longer fun or willing to live the only joys this lifestyle truly offered. Smacking his hand away both angered and aroused Gustav. As a dark grin crept over his pale face, he suppressed a chuckle at her rant. “ Do you hear yourself? This place is old and dusty and cliche for our kind. There are stone walls! That’s a little on the nose, don’t you think? And why should I be happy about throwing some stupid party when it takes the thrill of the hunt out of everything?!” With haste, Gustav moved towards Leda, towering over her easily. “ We are the world’s most fearsome hunter. The apex of any species on Earth. Faster, stronger, stealthier than anything and anyone… We can do anything, and yet you rob the joy of being what we are with your stupid fucking parties like it’s door dash for the undead.” Gustav scoffed.
With the same speed it took to get next to Leda, Gustav moved towards his nearly-dead victim and scooped her off the ground. Her body was limp in his arms as he held her back to his chest with a simple hand placed on her stomach. His other hand clutched her neck and pulled her head to one side, seeing the pleading in her eyes but not caring at all. “ And these things? They’re helpless prey. Food for us to play with. Just like they slaughter their cows and pigs only to sustain themselves, they oo, have to meet their end one day.” With that, Gustav sank his teeth into the girls neck. She let out a faint, struggling sound, but it was nothing anyone but them would hear, and it was over within seconds, as was her life. When he heard her heart stop, Gustav stopped feeding and let the poor woman fall back to the ground, more blood oozing from her neck as he stared at Leda. “ That was respect. I offered to share. And yet you were the one who didn’t appreciate my gesture. “
Tumblr media
Time had given Leda a better grasp on certain thoughts and when to release them. She found a practiced merit in the occasional lingering silence and in choosing her own words carefully. This was especially important around what would have been her son, had she any real emotion besides fury to associate him with.
It wasn’t hard to tell when he was trying to get a rise out of her. The unfortunate part of remaining under the same roof for centuries meant they knew each other in totality, all for the good and evil that they truly were. Once established in a remote location with a safe and spacious home, Leda found that it opened them to the world, some less appeasing than others. She even felt a twitch in her neck at that shrill voice he used when he wanted to annoy her, a coo coming from his bloodied mouth, decaying corpse slouched on the floor.
“Might come out.” She repeated, not caring to withhold the roll of her eyes. “There’s an expiration on items produced a few decades ago, Gustav.” Leda pulled her nails from the wood, entering the room to get a better view of the damage done. The girl was almost turning blue, a pale discolored sheen beginning to show under the skin. She looked over her body unflinching, dragging her gaze from the ground back to her infantile son and smacking away the hand that tried to pass off blood on few fingers. She tried to levy at the tone of her voice, but her words were not without spite. “I’m trying to find a reason why we throw these parties and invite all these people here, for you and for your sister to stay safe, just for you to go and do the very thing we made so easy for you.” Leda didn’t let it slide that she was his mother, even in the most slippery of distinctions. He hated being reminded of that, to be paired with Aoibhinn like a couple of rugrats. “I guess I was hoping by now for a little bit more respect and appreciation for how lovely of a set up you have here.”

Tumblr media
You and Shinsou had been seeing each other secretly for years. And in the famed city of Musutafu where the existence of hybrids were extremely rare, that wasn’t exactly an easy feat.
The statistics varied around the globe but the general trend ended up to be less than 5% of the world’s population being born with some kind of animal trait.
Because they were so rare, most humans lived out their whole lives without encountering a hybrid in person once, but for the odd individual, sometimes they would catch a glimpse.
Ever since he was young, Shinsou had to fight every step of the way to get what he wanted. He had to work harder than most just for the mere scraps of attention from scouts that came to search for those with talent to become future heroes, but he never once complained. Until a fight broke out at school, the jocks beating him up in the cafeteria, calling his aspiration to be a hero stupid while everyone else just sat there and watched.
They called him all sorts of horrible names that made his skin crawl and at the end of it all, they didn’t even get punished for starting the fight. He did.
After that, he stomped away from the school grounds and never looked back.
Overcoming life’s great trials, he made a name for himself in his own community in Japan with the help of his mentor, Aizawa.
The scruffy man demanded that he at least get the bare minimum of an education with him if he really refused to go back to his original school, and that’s how the odd pair that resembled father and son more than anyone else ended up getting homeschooled by the veteran underground pro.
Eventually, the once scrawny black panther without a quirk transformed into a seasoned pro that Japan’s law enforcement called on whenever a case called for his skills.
Shinsou’s hybrid traits made it easy for him to sneak around despite his size, making him one of the idealistic hires when police needed someone for undercover work. Coupled with the prowess of his build body, he was more than capable to takedown whatever targets were given to him.
Once he reached adulthood, he left the police reserves and went out on his own, seeking a life that lacked the emergency sirens and ways of deceit that it had been filled with previously.
He bounced around from job to job, starting from the bottom up. He washed dishes in a kitchen for a restaurant then went on to be a cashier and then finally worked on the side of the road, cleaning up litter left behind by inconsiderate people.
Shinsou found that over time, he appreciated doing those jobs more and got fulfillment out of it that he didnt find before.
Little things that happened daily put an extra spring in his step, like strolling down the street and seeing an elder needing help to get across. The simple actions of holding open the door or complimenting someone in hopes of making their day, it was so much clearer than it had been before.
That wasn’t to say that life was a walk in the park for the estranged panther. He still got comments about his appearance when his hood slipped off or from people who looked closely enough spotted his tail, but he no longer cared. His self-worth didn’t rely on pleasing them.
He was done with trying to blend in with the humans. He was different and he was proud of it.
Shinsou’s jaw clenched and his eyes hardened every time someone muttered something not-so-kind under their breath but he pushed on out of sheer determination, shoving it down until he could process it and release the feelings that came with it. He didn’t want to be the type of person who held a grudge.
Nothing good came out of that.
It was hard, but he had an example to set. He didn’t want his son to end up like the person he used to be.
A loner, an outcast, filled with so much anger aimed at the world that he lacked the ability to get along with anybody. And he didn’t want that for his son.
Naoki. His five-year-old kid with as much spunk as you had.
His wife of seven years.
Shinsou had met you on the eve of a grand ball being hosted in honor of Midoriya’s birthday, a party thrown for the Number One Hero by his large circle of friends. The black panther hybrid had been serving as protection for the night to Kaminari, an old human friend of his from high school who had hooked him up with a steady job within his own company.
Private security.
Since his panther genes gave him a much more built physique, Shinsou didn’t have any troubles convincing the big boss that he was the right fit for being a bodyguard. Coupled with his impressive background, that sealed the deal in one go.
Shinsou had been over at the bar getting a drink for the hyperactive blond conversing with his other guard, Jirou, when it happened.
The grand doors to the Victorian ballroom opened and in you entered, causing everyone’s jaws to drop to the floor.
Your floor-length gown was breathtaking. Diamonds glittered on soft skin from where the expensive necklace sat just above your collarbone. Ruby heels peeked out from under your dress as you floated through the entryway, coming to a stop at the balcony high above all the guests’ heads.
White chiffon skirts sweeping the marble tile, your satin heels clicked against the floor as you strode in, your chin turned delicately at the audible gasp that left the doorman.
An easy smile popped up on your features as he hastily apologized for staring and you brushed it off with an airy wave of your hand.
Shinsou didn’t even know if you were aware of all the eyes on you as you glided down the steps and warmly greeted Todoroki, the one who actually reserved the ballroom for the night, and Bakugou, one of your oldest friends.
Thank Eraserhead for his enhanced hearing.
However, Shinsou practically fainted when you walked over to him, commenting that he looked nice right before introducing yourself. The dress code that he had previously complained about to Kaminari earlier went out the window as soon as his eyes settled on you, drinking in your figure.
You were the embodiment of a goddess.
At that point, he wasn’t sure if he died and went to heaven or what, but he knew one thing. You were absolutely breathtaking.
Your elegance, your ease and instant kindness whenever you interacted with someone had him weak in the knees.
You were a vision.
Radiating pure light and beauty.
Sliding over to him, Kaminari had flashed him a cocky grin and reassured him that Jirou could handle his responsibilities if he, oh, wanted to pay a visit to a particularly stunning girl.
Jirou, his right-hand woman, swatted the electric blond’s shoulder as he doubled over with laughter but calmly told Shinsou that if he wanted to stroll around for a little while before coming back, then well, there certainly was nothing wrong with having a little bit of fun.
Blushing, he refused, claiming he couldn’t possibly leave Kaminari alone that long. He would find a way to set something on fire somehow.
The man had a weird affinity with fire.
Shinsou busied himself with the glasses, pouring the drinks that he had originally came over to get and he was about to get back to Jirou and Kaminari, both who suspiciously disappeared from sight, when he glanced up and saw you in all your splendor.
Right in front of him.
The crystal flutes he had been holding smashed onto the floor, clear shards flying everywhere. All heads turned to him but this time, the attention was unwanted.
Shinsou was frantic, trying to amend his mistake before you saw, even though that was literally impossible at this point, and Kaminari popped up out of nowhere, intervening before the enraged caterer could say some not-so-kind words to him.
That was fortunate for him.
What wasn’t as fortunate was you crouching down the second you heard the crash, disregarding everyone else’s shouts for you to be careful as you raced to his side, bending down to help.
“Are you alright?!” You asked, eyes wide with panic when your gaze landed on his palms and you froze. “Oh no, you’re bleeding!!”
The next ten minutes consisted of him adamantly refusing to let you help him clean up the shattered crystal and you arguing against him. Shinsou was forced to cave into you as you insisted on helping, threatening to haul him into your car to take him to the hospital yourself if he didn’t at least let you look at it, so he wasn’t left with much of a choice.
It wasn’t long before all the dangerous fragments were swept up and once the situation was handled, you led him out of the way to tend to his injuries.
Shinsou was quiet the entire way out, only protesting when you finally reached your destination of the nearest single stall bathroom. Here, at least it was quieter than the party that had resumed out there. Definitely wasn’t his crowd, but he wasn’t about to stomp all over the opportunity that Kaminari gave him just because he was a bit uncomfortable.
He could handle it. He was a panther, for crying out loud.
His frame was broad, his sharp indigo eyes terrifying and he was tougher than anyone else out there.
And yet, you didn’t flinch away from his wary gaze, going so far as to tend to the cuts and scraps on his bare hands, disinfecting them gently before bandaging them up in soft gauze you found in the cabinet.
It wasn’t odd to have amenities at an event like this where some kind of physical discourse was bound to happen. You knew it well.
Shinsou eyed you while you worked. “... I didn’t catch your name.”
If you were put off by the low drawl edged with a slight growl clearly meant to intimidate you, you didn’t show it at all.
Shrugging nonchalantly, you ducked your head somewhat shyly as you tied off the cotton. “L/N. L/N, Y/N.”
Shinsou smirked. “Nice to meet you.”
You flashed him a grin. “Likewise.”
This time, he was the one to look down shyly as his heart skipped a beat, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck with his newly banadaged palm as you wrapped the other one. “... Thanks for doing that.”
The snort that left you had him doing a double take.
“Thanks for letting me.” You retorted, tugging a bit harder on the end of the gauze to emphasize your exasperation with his earlier stubbornness and Shinsou winced, already regretting it.
“Sorry about that.” He murmured. He didn’t want to be on your bad side already. He had just met you.
Your gaze softened a tad as you picked up on the genuine strain in his voice. “It’s okay.”
After you finished tending to his injury, giving him a lame excuse why you knew first-aid so well, the two of you returned to the ball.
He let it go. For some reason, he had a feeling he shouldn’t pry.
Shinsou readjusted his tie, knowing that if he didn’t, Kaminari would do it for him. That’s just the type of person the electric blond was. It was hella annoying.
But his indigo gaze kept on you the entire time as your skirts swept across the floor, capturing all the attention of the guests once again.
Shinsou tapped the rim of the champagne glass to his lips contemplatively, mulling something over in his mind.
He saw through your weak excuse that you just knew how to do first-aid. He spotted the way your hands shook when you saw the blood, no matter how shallow the laceration was, and he couldn’t help but do a little bit of digging.
Jirou helped him find out that you weren’t a doctor or a nurse. In fact, you weren’t in any kind of profession in the medical field.
While Shinsou was slightly glad you weren’t so that he wouldn’t run into you when missions went sideways, he was more disappointed than anything else.
What if he never saw you again after tonight?
The thought of today being the last time he laid eyes on you was too much for him to bear and even though he tried to keep his distance, tried to stomp out the blossoming warmth in his chest for you when you giggled and threw him a smile through the crowd with logic, nothing worked.
Shinsou gathered his courage and with a push from Kaminari, literally, he had a date with the bashful bartender by the end of the night.
Waving goodbye to you after he walked you to his car, his arm dropped back down to his side as you drove off into the night. This is going to be fun...
Two weeks passed by and he still had yet to see you.
At first, he was the one to get called away. Kaminari needed him for a gig while he closed a deal on the nightclub that he owned that he was looking to expand. Apparently, Jirou and Sero were unavailable. He apologized profusely, promising to make it up to you, but you didn’t even mind.
You understood that sometimes life just happened and things got in the way. He had nothing to be sorry for. You rescheduled for the following week.
That was when you got called away. Family emergency.
Shinsou spent twenty minutes on the phone with you, promising that he wasn’t holding it against you for needing to push back the date again. His eyes softened when he clearly heard how distressed you were through his cell and he sighed, murmuring into the receiver that it didn’t matter how long it took or how many obstacles the two of you would have to get through.
His heart still longed for you just as strongly as the first day he saw you.
With his quiet yet passionate reassurance, you were able to attend to all that you needed to, keeping in contact with him throughout the week. You were ashamed to admit it, but with how easy he was to talk to, you found yourself falling hard.
Then, the day finally came where life allowed you this one happiness.
According to you, the first date went well. Sure, Shinsou was a bit shy and awkward, fumbling over his words but you found it extremely cute.
He wasn’t nearly as intimidating as his figure portrayed. Underneath all that brawn, the black panther was sweet and he was kind.
It took some time for him to actually warm up to you, but you were there waiting for him patiently. You never pushed him, never asked him to reveal secrets he didn’t want to talk about or divulge information about his personal life unless he himself wished to talk about it.
But when he finally did open up, close to a year later after that initial meeting at Midoriya’s birthday party, he found that he couldn’t stop running his mouth when you trained your keen gaze on him so intently, hanging onto his every word.
Shinsou told you everything.
He told you about his lonely past, about the man called Eraserhead but how he knew him as Aizawa, how he preferred coffee over tea because while neither of them actually had any taste, one of them did a much better job of keeping him awake at night when he had to work.
You giggled and told him you took note of that, leaning forward to plop your chin in the palm of your hand as you regarded him mischievously.
“Does that mean the great and famous Toshi doesn’t like water?” You teased lightly, stirring your hot chocolate while the snowflakes fell outside, melting the instant they hit the window.
The pillowy softness looked deceptively soft and cozy but you knew after many experiences of jumping into piles of snow that that was definitely not the case.
Shinsou scowled at the lilt in your voice but the edges of his mouth twitched, desperately trying to hold back a fond smile at the sound of your nickname for him.
You gave him that nickname after you learned his given name. He had shared it with you months after you two started dating regularly. You had pestered him for it for a while after the first coffee date but after he asked you to stop, that he would tell you when he was ready, you stopped immediately.
Boundaries had to be respected.
One of your old girlfriends made fun of you for it, claiming that it didn’t make sense so you shouldn’t feel the need to respect it.
You dropped her right after.
Understanding didn’t matter. If it was close to him, then it mattered to you. And that went for everyone.
Shinsou tucked his hands into the pockets of his pants and leaned back in the booth, a low chuckle rumbling from his chest. The only other person he let call him Toshi was Aizawa and that was on the rare occasion that his mentor praised him for a job well done.
“You have some nerve, doll.” Shinsou teased right back, the barest amount of amusement twinkling in his eyes and he cleared his throat. “But no, I actually do like water.”
In spite of the common misconception that all cats hated water, he got that a lot once people saw his ears and tail, fangs poking out between his lips. But if anything, he had no issues with it. Let them say and think whatever they wanted, it didn’t matter to him.
You however… he couldn’t have you thinking things that weren’t true.
Shinsou made a face. “I just am not fond of baths.”
You slapped your knee and cackled at that, laughing so loud that you drew the attention of some of the other patrons in the vicinity but you couldn’t even catch your breath long enough to apologize for ruining their calm coffee cafe experience.
The two of you dated for quite a long time before Shinsou popped the question.
For you, it had taken you by a complete and utter surprise. You had expected him to ask you to move in with him first or something since his place was big enough, not this. No one had ever committed to a relationship with you long enough and serious enough to make you think that marriage was part of the equation.
But while you were startled, you still agreed, tears caught in your lashes. You may have been shocked but you were so elated.
Shinsou, keen as ever, wiped away your tears and coaxed your face up, finger hooked underneath your chin as he examined you closely.
Indigo hues softened in concern. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing, nothing,” You reassured him with a sniffle and bright smile. “I just— Sometimes I forget how good of a person you really are, Toshi.”
He was taken aback at that. His whole life he had been told the opposite. And yet here he was, with the love of his life telling him otherwise.
His heart was going to explode.
It hadn’t been the first time you said it but he hoped that it wouldn’t be the last.
And when the news that you two were now engaged finally hit you, you took some time to soak in the scenery.
The place he picked was absolutely perfect.
An alcove secluded and filled with fragrant flowers, vines trailing up the expanse of the old stone ruins. Soothing streams cut paths through the quiet garden, a serene and tranquil place hidden amongst the bustling town of Musutafu. There was no one else around. Just you two.
It was perfect. It was perfectly Toshi.
“Thank you.” You whispered, leaning your head and resting it on his shoulder.
He booped your nose softly, smiling slightly when you scrunched it up cutely and his tail curled around your waist protectively, holding you close.
“I love you.” Shinsou murmured, closing his eyes as he breathed you in.
There was no hesitation in your soft reply. “I love you too.”
But your relationship with Shinsou wasn’t all sunshine and roses. There was a time where you thought you might lose him.
That he might die.
It was bad. Kaminari had called you right after it happened but because you had been working at the time and your dick of a boss didn’t let you have your phone, you didn’t see any of those messages until after you got off your shift.
But when you finally did look at it, your heart stopped.
What happened next was a blur. Your phone slipped through your fingers, uncaring how the screen cracked and went black the instant it hit the pavement and you tore off in the address now ingrained in your memory despite only looking at it once.
Please be okay, please be okay, please be okay, You chanted in your head, tears streaming down your face and the city lights faded into the background as you zipped down the familiar path to the hospital you swore you would never step foot in again. Toshi, I can’t lose you too.
The front desk receptionist didn’t even stop you as you barreled through the front doors with panicked eyes, chest heaving. She simply waved you on. You knew where to go.
When you finally got to his room, your heart stopped.
Kaminari wasn’t kidding. It was bad.
No one else was in the white room with white walls that contained your beloved lying deathly still on the single cot in the center of the room.
The hospital room was vacant. Empty. No color.
You hated it.
But you suppressed those feelings of unease that made you sick to your stomach and stepped a foot inside, racing to Shinsou before you could talk yourself out of it.
“I’m here.” You cried out, reaching for his hand. A choked sob left you when his fingers weakly curled around yours. “I’m here, Hitoshi.”
The doctors came and went but you stayed by his side, not even batting an eye when Kaminari, Jirou and Sero came to visit.
There were heavy bags under your eyes from lack of sleep due to the past few days. “When will he wake up?”
Kaminari hesitated, glancing at Jirou, hoping to find her usual reassurance but a foreign worry wrought her features.
“I… don’t know.” He said finally, placing a hand on your shoulder, sighing when you didn’t even look up at him and smiled like you normally did. “He’s under a pretty heavy anesthesia—”
“He’s going to wake up.” You stated firmly, brow kitting stubbornly and you squeezed his hand tighter.
But when it was clear he wasn’t going to squeeze back, your grip loosened and your hands fell back in your lap.
“He’s going to wake up.” You repeated, voice shaking this time around with insecurity as you faced the possible reality that he might not.
That you had just grown close to someone else who was going to leave you.
According to the report that Jirou had tried to tell you about, Shinsou had gotten attacked by someone he had helped the police put away a long time ago.
A retaliation hit.
Stabbed in the shoulder with a gunshot wound through his femoral artery, there wasn’t a lot of hope for him. He lost a lot of blood.
But you were certain he would fight. He could make it through this. He promised you that he would never leave you.
Resolve strengthening, you wiped away your tears harshly with the back of your hand before covering his motionless hand with yours once more. As long as you were here, you would provide him all the support he needed to get through this.
“Toshi…” You sobbed as the other three took their leave after failing to convince you to go home and get some rest. They would get some food and bring it up to you, sure you hadn’t eaten in days. You didn’t want to be the one to tell them that they were right.
Shinsou never liked it when you skipped meals. What would he say if he saw you now?
You pressed a wet kiss to the back of his hand, tears blurring your vision.
“I’ll be right here when you wake up.” You promised, eyelashes fluttering close as you failed against the anguish.
“Please, don’t leave me alone.”
Days turned into weeks and your hope was dwindling with each passing hour.
You had lost your job at the diner that you worked at because you refused to leave his side. You were lucky to have Kaminari reassure you that money wouldn’t be a problem and you were eternally grateful that he knew just how important it was that you didn’t leave Shinsou’s bedside.
Jirou and Sero rotated shifts to keep watch over their friend, coordinating with Tsukauchi, All Might and Eraserhead to provide top security but you couldn’t be bothered to pay attention to their activities.
All you did, from sunrise to midnight was stare at Shinsou’s peacefully sleeping face in hopes that he would blink open those tired eyes and gaze at you once more.
Please, You begged for what seemed like the millionth time to someone, anyone who was listening. Please help him.
Let him be okay.
When a month and a half had passed, you were at your wit’s end. There had been no change since day one. The doctors said that all his injuries had healed, thanks to Recovery Girl, but that it was likely he would never come out of the coma.
You had no more tears to cry. Your figure was gaunt, facial features sunken in like you had seen a ghost and lost your mind. No one could convince you to eat or sleep.
If Shinsou died, there was a good chance you would too.
Life was empty without him in it.
You couldn’t take this anymore. The waiting, the not knowing. You hated it.
You begged him even though you knew he couldn’t hear you, angry at him, angry at the guy who put him here, angry at the world for being so unfair that you lost it. Yelling at him, you fought back frustrated tears as you poured your heart out to him.
But then you stopped. He didn’t know.
Sinking back into the uncomfortable plastic chair that your body had molded to, you closed your eyes in defeat.
That’s right. You never told him.
Eyes growing sad and regretful, you debated for a second before you decided that if you were feeling this way, you might as well tell him why.
Holding his hand that teetered on the edge of chilly due to the slowed down circulation, you took a deep breath.
“You always wanted to know, ever since we first met.” You started softly, playing idly with his fingers to distract yourself from the horror of this story. “I knew you saw right through me then, should’ve taken the warning and run.”
You smiled faintly. He never would’ve let you.
“I…” You trailed off, losing your courage. Breathing shakily, you tried to gather yourself. You knew this wasn’t going to be an easy feat but somehow, this was the hardest part of it all.
Where you had to admit what you felt with no hidden truths.
Clearing your throat, you started over.
“I never told you about Ryuu.” You confessed, blinking up at the stained tiles of the ceiling in an attempt to hold back the tears that welled up in your eyes. “He was my little brother, passed away when I was 15.”
You exhaled shakily. “He was only six.”
Your dad had gotten mugged and was beaten to death on the outskirts of the city before you were born. Your mom raised you as best as a single mother her age could but it was hard.
She had no job, no family, no one to help her. Your childhood consisted of you bouncing around the streets to make a penny, then crashing in whatever crumbling, rundown building you could find for the night.
Any run-ins with the law weren’t good.
You knew that they would take you away from your mom if they knew, put you in the foster care system. You couldn’t let them do that, who would take care of her?
She didn’t tell you that she was pregnant. You found out when she started showing.
You didn’t say anything about it for the nine months she carried that baby, supporting her with all you could. Life was okay. You got a job running errands for the kind man who owned a grocery store at the corner of the street.
You had enough money to put some food on the table.
When she birthed the baby, you were there the entire time. You were there when he had his first cry, when the nurse cut the umbilical cord, and when your mother passed away on the hospital bed, too weak from labor to carry on.
You didn’t mourn. No matter how hard you tried or how much you wanted to, no tears came out.
Instead, you held Ryuu in your arms, kissing him on his little forehead as you vowed to protect him.
He was life. He was precious.
But you couldn’t protect him from himself.
Ryuu was born with a flawed heart. The doctors predicted that he wouldn’t live more than a year.
But your little brother pushed through. By the time he turned four, he was already showing signs of great progress and healing. You were hopeful that he could grow up like a normal kid and experience life to the fullest.
You hoped for too much.
Visits to the hospital became more frequent when he started coughing up blood. Violent seizures overtook him and one day, it claimed his life.
And you didn’t cry.
Onlookers speculated that you had no heart if you couldn’t even grieve for this poor boy, but no, that wasn’t it. That wasn’t it at all.
You thought you were over this already, that you had gotten over your fear of hospitals and all the despair that came with it, but no.
Seeing Shinsou laying there, deathly pale, had your heart beating right out of your chest, and not in a good way.
“When you wake up, I’m going to kill you.” You swore through the hot tears stinging your eyes and rolling down your cheeks.
Slouching heavily back down in that same uncomfortable plastic chair that dug into your back and made your butt incredibly sore, you clasped Shinsou’s hand tightly.
“You’re such an idiot.” You sobbed, fingers shaking as you let up the pressure, grazing over the back of his hand as though you were afraid he might disappear on you if you pressed too hard.
Vision blurry, a sob welled up in your chest and your body trembled uncontrollably as you let it all out. The build up of all the emotions you had been suppressing since you were younger released onto him and you cried and cried until you couldn’t anymore.
But your eyes flew open as something soft and fuzzy ruffled your hair.
Shooting upright, fresh tears gathered at the corners of your eyes and your hands clapped over your mouth in shock.
A broken cry escaped you. “Toshi…”
Shinsou’s indigo eyes opened just a crack but they were trained on you and the faintest of smiles graced his lips.
“Hey, doll.” He breathed tiredly.
His mouth barely moved but you heard him.
With an astonished and disbelieving cry of relief, you flung your arms around his neck.
Despite his body just waking up and getting accustomed to its surroundings, he didn’t hesitate to catch you, tucking your head under his chin and he buried his nose into your hair and inhaled deeply. Damn, he missed you.
“Fuck, I’m so sorry.” Shinsou apologized, wincing a bit as he tried to prop himself up. You were quick to realize what he wanted and helped him, fluffing the pillows behind him as best as you could even though it was hard to reach around his much bigger frame. “How long—”
“Too long.”
Shinsou’s eyes softened and he gently brushed away the teardrops escaping with the pad of his thumb as he cupped your face tenderly.
“I’m sorry, Y/N.” He whispered, eyes closing briefly as he rested his forehead against yours.
You glowered at him even though your heart was already surging towards him with open arms. “You better be.”
The sound of his throaty chuckle was a welcome one and you melted into his embrace, sighing at the deep purr that rumbled from his chest.
“Princess…” Shinsou murmured, Kaminari’s outburst and Jirou’s relieved expression as they burst into the room going unnoticed as he focused only on you. “Forgive me?”
Vaguely, you registered Sero bolting out the door to fetch the doctor but you blinked up at him and pouted, playing with the collar of his hospital robe.
“It wasn’t your fault.” You mumbled under your breath.
Shinsou’s eyebrows drew together. “I heard about your brother, I think. I’m sorry I didn’t—”
“You don’t need to ask for forgiveness.” You whispered, grip tightening on him when the doctor entered the room and asked you to leave so he could examine him. “There’s nothing to forgive.”
Shinsou begged for just one more minute with you, one more minute to hold you in his arms but the doctor was insistent. Reluctantly, with great difficulty, he let you go, the man taking your place in a second.
You swallowed harshly as you stepped away from him, Jirou patting your shoulder comfortingly and you turned to her as Kaminari peppered the exhausted panther with endless questions.
“Toshi?”
Shinsou turned his head at your soft voice and motioned for you to complete your thought. He knew that look on your face.
You broke away from Jirou, leaving her with Sero as you approached him once more. Slowly, with intent, you strode towards him, watery eyes diminishing as your resolve strengthened.
Taking his hand in yours, something flashed through your eyes. “I’m gonna make them pay.”
In spite of his vision growing foggy as the anesthetic kicked in, a small smirk played upon the edge of his mouth and his gaze flickered over your shoulder to lock purposefully with Kaminari’s. A silent request to keep you safe while he was out.
Shinsou sighed, settling into the thin mattress as comfortably as he could when you pressed a loving kiss to his forehead.
He smiled, eyes fluttering shut as the last thing he heard was your hushed declaration of how much you loved him.
“Go get ‘em, doll.”
Seven quirk-cancelling handcuffs, demolished turkey stuffing and a plate of thrown pudding later, you left the individuals responsible for attacking your Toshi in the police’s capable hands.
It had taken you forever to heal from the trauma of that day that landed your life partner in the hospital in such a dangerous predicament, but taking one slow step at a time, you managed to get back up on your feet and move forward.
Now, years later, the shining daylight turned into the ambiance of night, and that was when the real party started.
Purple lowlights glowed softly in contrast against the glittery sparkles of the disco ball hanging above the dancefloor.
Jirou spun tunes at the DJ booth, Sero jamming with Kirishima unabashedly to the loud EDM in the crowd, Bakugou violently fighting against his best friend when Kirishima begged for him to come join.
You poured drinks from behind the counter with an impassive Todoroki, bopping to the music that pumped through the air and reverberated through your bones. Your coworker continued to serve customers, strolling out into the dining area as someone waved him over. Uraraka and Aoyama, you think.
Kaminari had given you a position at his nightclub, asking if you wanted to put your bartending skills to good use since his last guy quit once he got a better gig. You accepted immediately.
You bustled around the back of the counter of the bar, glass shelves stocked with liquor high behind you. Polishing glasses, you handled several things at once as customers put in orders and talked to you all at once.
Tonight was a celebration and a bunch of your friends were here.
Bakugou was now begrudgingly dancing with Kirishima on the dancefloor, the permanent scowl on his face growing once Todoroki leaned over and casually noted how much he resembled a put off skunk in that moment. Midoriya had to intervene and drag away a clueless Todoroki while Kirishima wrangled back a furious pomeranian.
Kaminari hung out with Yaoyorozu by Jirou, Shoji and Ojiro drifting over to them as soon as they stepped in through the front door.
Excitement thrummed through your veins at all the familiar faces. With all your friends in one place, you were eager to see the one person you had been looking forward to catching up with all week.
He should be getting off of work soon…
A ring from the doorbell as it opened caught your attention.
“I’ll be right with you!!” You called as the figure who had just shuffled through the door of the bar sat down at the counter.
“No worries.” The man responded smoothly despite his tired tone. “Take your time.”
At the sound of the familiar voice, you casted a glimpse at him, spotting ruffled purple hair and indigo hues brimming with love fixated on you.
He waved you off with a lazy grin and you fought back a smile as you continued to make the requested cocktail for the customer you were currently serving.
You had both agreed to not act with familiarity at your workplace but that didn’t stop you from putting an extra bounce in your step as you flitted around from behind the counter with grace and practiced ease to help ease Todoroki’s workload.
Shinsou’s gaze followed you as you swapped places with the dual-haired man.
He had just got off of patrol with his old mentor, Eraserhead. Kaminari had given him the day off and let him spend time with the scruffy man. And of course Aizawa wanted to spend it doing work.
Taking off his signature mask to let it hang around his neck, Shinsou set down his keys on the polished obsidian tabletop, tapping his fingers idly while he waited for you to come back, his eyes flickering to the employees’ door that led to the back.
But he had no complaints while waiting.
One of his favorite pastimes was watching you work. The grace while you floated around the crowd of people coupled with the delicate precision you used to handle each glass while you poured liquor in different combinations, he could watch you for hours on end and never be bored.
Wiping your hands on your white apron dirtied with stains from this shift, you dashed back behind the counter to send out a few plates full of food that a table had ordered.
Shinsou rested his chin in the palm of his hand nonchalantly, his tail swishing lazily from side to side as you took care of things seamlessly, picking up the influx of business that came with the busy hour.
He briefly wondered why there were only you and Todoroki waiting on tables, scowling slightly when he thought that you had to deal with waitressing on top of bartending but you didn’t seem to mind.
With an easy smile and light shining in your eyes, you dealt with all of it with grace.
“Hello!!”
Shinsou glanced up, one of his rare smiles threatening to break out across his face at the sight that greeted him. You were leaning over the counter towards him, spinning a pen between your fingers smoothly as you whipped out a notepad.
“What can I get for you?” You asked politely but the mischievous glint in your eye gave it away.
Shinsou had been so lost in his thoughts that he didn’t hear you come over. Easily enough, a smug smirk curved at the edge of his mouth and he recovered rather quickly as he chuckled.
“Just water is fine, thanks.” He said and you nodded, flashing him a quirky smile.
You got him his water within seconds and in the blink of an eye, you were back to serving others. Caught up in the craziness of the rush hour, you barely noticed a little someone toddling up to stand up behind you as the door burst open.
“Mama?”
The babysitter you hired for the night came rushing in behind him, hauling your son back frantically, wrought with worry from when he sped ahead of her. “Oh my god, I’m so sorry, L/N-san, I just—”
You held up a hand to stop her, calming her down. “It’s okay, Gen. Take a deep breath and tell me what’s wrong.”
In a single hurried breath, she relayed in a panicked manner that she had a family emergency to take care of. You reassured her that it was okay to go, ushering her out the door when she continued to spew out apologies for bailing like this.
This wasn’t the first time something like this had happened and you were quite sure it wouldn’t be the last. The girl was nice and she got along great with your son but her parents struggled with their health and usually one of them or both of them landed in the hospital every week.
The stress.
You shook your head. It was unfair to put such a young girl through something so strenuous but you didn’t have any say in it and you inserting yourself into their lives would be intrusive so you settled for supporting her whenever the opportunity presented itself.
“Need a ride?” You asked, eyes sympathetic as you headed over to her, snatching your coat from the hook, already ready to help in any way that you could.
Gen waved her hands quickly, the smile that appeared gone as fast as it came. “That’s okay, but thank you, L/N-san!! Monoma is taking me to the hospital.”
Her knuckles turned white at how tightly she gripped the strap of her bag and your eyes softened understandingly as her boyfriend’s sports car pulled up just outside.
“Go on.” You urged softly. “And be careful.”
“I will.”
And with that, she turned around, leaving behind a fidgeting little boy tugging on the bottom of your apron.
“Mama? Where’s she going?” Naoki pouted, cheeks puffing out. “I thought we were gonna play…”
You hid a smile, reaching behind you to pat him on the head as you expertly handled a tray of empty beers and put the glasses in the sink. As Todoroki took over for you, you bent down to ruffle his hair.
“What is it, little one?” You questioned softly and somehow your son managed to hear you above the noise and clamor of the partying going on.
Normally, you would’ve done everything you could to keep him away from your workplace. Having your husband watch him in the back room was preferable until your shift was over. Naoki particularly enjoyed coloring.
The last babysitter you hired before Gen ended up being careless and lost track of him, letting the small boy wander out of the house. He found you at your workplace easily enough since it was a few blocks away but you were in hysterics when he trotted in through the door with his favorite Eraserhead plushie as one of your regulars held open the door for him.
Grandpa Shouta would never admit how much he loved the little guy but it didn’t matter. He and Hizashi constantly showered Naoki with gifts every weekend when they came over to take your family out on a shopping spree and obligatory trip to the cat café.
You didn’t have any relatives that lived close by or else you would’ve asked if they could babysit Naoki and Aizawa was out of the question since his job was just as dangerous and demanding as Shinsou’s.
Your workplace wasn’t exactly the traditional nightclub, it was actually a very sophisticated bar with tight security and respectful customers. Rarely you got anyone new but the steady stream of regulars was more than enough to keep the place up and running.
Nobody usually got violent when they had too much to drink but if they did, the bouncers Kendo and Tetsutetsu were both quick to throw them out of the establishment until they sobered up.
Naoki liked to cling to your legs when you were at home and since all your regulars knew of him from that little incident before, no one was surprised when the small boy tucked himself behind you shyly.
The disco music’s volume lowered a tad as Jirou realized that Naoki was with you, reducing it to a much more acceptable level for conversations to flow easier.
Shinsou sipped his water. Gen was in and out as quickly as she came, and there was no need for him to do anything when you took care of it so fast. Besides, his son hadn’t even noticed him yet.
Until now.
Beaming widely, Naoki faced his dad and hugged your leg.
Shinsou fought back a fond smile, waving at him discreetly to avoid catching the attention of the others. He rolled his eyes though when his silent and goofy conversation was interrupted by a Kaminari and Sero obnoxiously hooting from the side.
You remained oblivious, cleaning up a pile of dishes to clear your workspace as Todoroki disappeared into the kitchen where Sato and Tokoyami were continuing to crank out plates of food for the night.
Tugging on your apron, Naoki’s wide eyes met yours as you knelt down to his level. He pointed to someone sitting on the opposite side as his dad.
“Mama, that man looks mean…” He whispered fearfully, cowering behind your legs as you straightened up to your full height.
“Can I help you?” You asked with a pointed glance, tone hard as you addressed the one intimidating your son.
While any other person would’ve bristled at your icy tone, this burly man just snickered and leaned closer, making his intent clear.
Arching an eyebrow, you crossed your arms over your chest and pulled out your notepad. You hadn’t seen him around before, he must be a newcomer.
You sighed after a beat of him just ogling you, tapping your pen to the edge of the mini spiral impatiently as you suppressed the urge to vomit at his behavior. “If you’re not going to order anything, please sit at one of the tables instead so that another customer can take your place at the bar.”
Naoki whimpered and scuttled to hide more as the man stood up. He towered over you and the little boy’s heart started to beat faster with fear.
“Oh, is that right, princess?”
You bristled at the nickname and bit the inside of your cheek to stop some very colorful words from escaping, throwing a hard side glance at your husband when he abruptly stood up with a snarl painted on his face.
Moving to stand in front of him, blocking the man’s view from Shinsou and also stopping your husband at the same time should he do anything reckless, you plastered your best customer service smile on your face.
“Please do not call me that.” You stated, making it clear that you weren’t actually asking. “If you cannot treat me with respect then you should leave.”
“Oh?” The man chuckled, the sound grating against your ears unpleasantly. “And what are you gonna do about it, sweet thing?”
Oh, that was it.
“I’m taken.” You responded dryly, crossing your arms over your chest. “I really don’t appreciate how you’re talking to me, and my husband wouldn’t either.”
He smiled a sinister smile, causing your skin to crawl. “I don’t see him.”
And Shinsou was done letting you take this disrespect.
“Hey.” He barked, standing up to take his place next to you. “If a lady tells you to back off, you listen.”
A snort came from the other and then condescending laughter followed. “Yeah right. All girls are ever good for is being a pretty little thing to show off on your arm, am I right?”
“You’re dead wrong, prick.” Shinsou hissed, indigo alight with unparalleled fury as he came up behind you, wrapping beefy arms around your waist and glaring at the guy who had the audacity to harass you like that. “You don’t talk to anybody like this, especially not my wife.”
The man should’ve taken the obvious warning and backed down but he didn’t. Instead, his interest transformed into judgement and you could visibly see the walls coming down and locking as his hatred overtook his entire being.
“Hybrid, huh?” He sneered in disgust at you. “No wonder you went after someone like her.”
Shinsou’s arms curled around you tighter protectively and he stiffened behind you, coiled like a cobra and ready to strike but you held him back again.
But before you could throw him out of Kaminari’s establishment yourself, someone beat you to it.
In two seconds flat, the man who had been snickering at you and high-fiving his buddies folded over, clutching his stomach as his expression contorted in pain.
Naoki planted his hands on his hips and nodded his head proudly as he kicked the man where it hurt. “No one talks to my Mama like that!!”
“Naoki!!” You cried out.
He had slipped away so quietly and so fast that you didn’t notice in time to stop it.
Leaning over the counter, you spotted him blinking back at you innocently as Yaoyorozu hustled him away from the troublesome men he had just put in his place.
Bakugou appeared, a menacing aura surrounding his broad frame as he loomed over the sniveling man now cowering beneath him.
“You’re fuckin’ lucky she asked you nicely, cause the rest of us ain’t gonna, bastard.” He snapped, explosions popping from his palms.
Twisting his arm behind his back, the fuming man marched out the front door with the captured one in his iron grip squealing like a pig, followed by Kaminari and Sero taking the others with Kirishima cracking his knuckles while flashing a smile over his shoulder, shutting the door behind him. They were going to teach him a little lesson.
Naoki raised his hands high above his head joyfully, a wide smile spread across his face. “Mama, Mama, did you see?! Did I do good?!”
Immediately, you and Shinsou rushed over to Naoki, pulling him in for a hug.
“Are you okay?!” You exclaimed, scanning over him for any injuries, making sure he isn’t hurt. “Naoki, you can’t just run off like that!! Or kick people!!”
He pouted, lowering his hands slightly. “But Papa taught me how!!”
Shinsou collapsed into a fit of laughter when he heard that and your head snapped towards him.
Your eyes glittered with a hint of amusement, wry tone rolling off your tongue. “Did he now?”
Naoki nodded vigorously, his mop of purple hair flopping around on his head. “Yup!! He said that if someone’s mean, then they’re a bully and I can fight back!!”
At this point, you didn’t know whether you should applaud your son or scold your husband for teaching him such things.
Yaoyorozu shook her head as you deftly tickled Naoki’s sides, making him laugh loudly. He looked so very proud of himself, rambling on and on about how he protected you against the big bad scary man, just like his daddy showed him.
Shinsou, who was leaning back against the counter casually as he observed the two of you, pushed off as his son tunneled into his legs.
“Papa, Papa, are you proud of me?” He pleaded to know, staring up at him with wide eyes just like a koala as he hugged his father’s shins.
Shinsou patted his head, brushing the wispy curls away from his eyes and chuckled. “Of course I am, squirt.”
“Toshi!!” You scolded good-naturedly, pushing up onto your feet.
Despite the talk about how nonviolence is a better route you knew would have to come later, you simply picked up Naoki and rested him on your hip as Shinsou tapped your cheek and murmured into your ear that he was going to go check on things outside.
He tucked your hair behind your ear. “Will you be alright?”
You nodded reassuringly. “Of course. Go. But don’t beat him up too badly, love.”
Shinsou huffed out a curt laugh, the waggle of his eyebrows making you giggle, dissipating the tense atmosphere in an instant.
When he disappeared from the establishment, you took Naoki to the back room to get away from all the craziness and clamor that came with your son kicking the prick in the balls. Midoriya offered to help Todoroki with serving the food while you took care of your son.
“Here you go, little one.” You whispered as you gathered up the coloring books and crayons hidden away in the bigger desk, placing it on the smaller one Tokoyami built just for him.
Naoki clapped his hands excitedly, making grabby hands for it, a happy noise emitting from him as soon as gave it to him. “Thank you, Mama!!”
While he busied himself with coloring in a tiger with blues and yellows, you kept him company. That was, until the door clicked open.
You stood in a second, running over to him and flung your arms around his neck to hug him tight. Naoki remained engrossed in coloring in the Disney Princess on the page as you checked over the black panther.
“You okay?” You whispered shakily, a hint of fear slipping in as your collected façade cracked.
Shinsou rested his forehead against yours, breathing softly as he cupped your jaw. “Yes, I’m alright. Don’t worry, doll.”
The corners of your mouth twitched as you protested childishly, “... ‘m not worried.”
He exhales sharply, chuckling faintly at your characteristic stubbornness and hummed nonchalantly. “Whatever you say, princess.”
He lowered his voice, murmuring repeatedly that he was okay as your trembling fingers brushed over his bruised knuckles. They were a little busted up and bloody from a particularly hefty punch he delivered to the jerk’s jaw. He was going to feel that in the morning.
Shinsou kept you in his embrace for as long as Naoki took to finish coloring his picture. By the time he did, you had calmed down enough to go back out and finish your shift.
Wiping sweaty palms on your uniform, you sniffled and raised your head up high. You could do this. You had come a long way from the little girl who became paralyzed at the mere sight of a drop of blood.
He was a bit battered but he would heal. He was okay.
As you bustled about behind the counter, fighting back a smile as Kaminari sashayed up to you and asked for your favorite so that he could give it back to you, you laughed out loud when Shinsou smacked him upside the head for doing such a thing.
Naoki ran around, looking for more bullies to kick in the balls before Shoji caught onto what he was doing and diverted his attention to helping Jirou spin some tunes, with some earplugs in, of course, so that his hearing wasn’t damaged.
Shinsou’s cheeks colored as you stretched up on your tiptoes to press a gentle kiss to his temple.
“Thank you for defending my honor.” You whispered somewhat teasingly. “It’s nice to know that my boys have my back.”
His chest rumbled with laughter and an arm looped around your middle, drawing you close to his side as the night rush slowed down and you were finally given a chance to breathe. Tail wrapping around your hip, the cool metal of his ring kissed your skin as his fingers intertwined with yours.
Ignoring the banter of an indignant Naoki and a pouty Kaminari, Shinsou nudged his nose against your temple and sighed softly.
“Forever and always, doll.”

Bound Blood (Cassandra Dimitrescu/Reader, Soulmate AU) Pt. 2
Fandom: Resident Evil: Village
Rating: T+ for blood, language, nudity, and horny
Warnings: Implied pain/blood kink
Summary: Local vampire tries to give her human soulmate a bath, but the human is feral and loving it. Then it gets a lil horny, to both of their frustration.
Previous Chapters: 1: Sharing Is (Not) Caring
2: Bloodbath, Baby!
“I take it you changed your mind about the clothes? Or am I supposed to use these towels like a makeshift toga?” You asked, glancing around the bathroom, eying the ornate tub with mild interest. This certainly wasn’t where you had expected Cassandra to take you, especially not when she had somewhat promised you garments to wear. There were no pants or shirts (or even dresses) in sight, just a rack of the softest looking towels you had ever seen. It was admittedly difficult for you to resist the urge to use one to wipe the blood off of your shoulder. However, you figured that it would be best to save that for after you were given a good behavior prize. After all, it was much more fun to be a bastard if your “victim” (not that Cassandra really counted as that) knew how polite you were capable of being, and you were, under normal circumstances, very polite. Most of the time. Maybe.
“What did I say about talking?” Cassandra snapped at you, glaring at you from her perch on the counter. She was sitting on the edge, waiting for something, occasionally eying the room’s entrance.
“You told me to shut up for ‘five minutes’. It’s been eight, at the very least! I’ve been holding back, just for you, babe,” you replied, smirking as you did. For a moment your soulmate seems to consider chucking a bar of soap at your head. Eventually she thinks better of it, opting to roll her eyes at you instead. “For the record, I did count, just to be sure. Wouldn’t have wanted to make any assumptions about the passage of time, considering how fast time seems to fly when I’m with a loved one.” Unfortunately, this does not get a rise out of Cassandra, who has shifted to face away from you. Not yet willing to give up your buffoonery (and assuming that you would not, in fact, be getting a good behavior prize anytime soon), you released a loud, exaggerated sigh, before switching tactics.
Standing up with the blanket still curled around yourself, you maneuver over to the tub, eagerly climbing inside. With how large it was, laying down was fairly easy, though you weren’t entirely flat. Wanting to be as comfortable as possible, you adjust yourself and the blanket until it covers you, while letting one end go behind your head like a pillow. It’s nowhere near as nice as you had hoped. On the plus side, however, is the attention it gets from Cassandra. Before long she’s standing adjacent to the tub, staring down with an expression of exasperation.
“What the fuck are you doing?” She asked.
“Napping, obviously. Care to join me?” You answered, without hesitation. Then you gently pat the blanket, as if offering to let her sit on top of you. This only serves to make her angrier. Now she’s leaning over the basin, bracing one hand against it, her other hand reaching to grab your throat and pull you towards her. The two of you are so close that you can’t help but blush, and the feeling of her skin against yours is weirdly attractive. “I should have known you were the kinky type. Not that I mind,” you murmured, gaze wandering a little farther south than her lips. Before you know it she’s shoved you back down and let go of you. She shakes her hand a bit, like she’s just touched something gross, but you see the pink rising on her cheeks. As much as you want to tease her, the sound of approaching footsteps takes priority. Soon the door is opening, revealing a stressed servant, a pile of clothes in her arms. Suddenly you’re glad that Cassandra pushed you away, considering you don’t think she would have enjoyed having someone walk in on the two of you in that position.
“Lady Cassandra, I have what you requested. Would you like me to draw a bath for you? Or-” she pauses when she sees you, clearly unsure of what to make of your behavior. Hell, she almost drops what she’s carrying, and makes a soft ‘oh’ sound. Presumably dying inside, Cassandra quickly takes the bundle from her. Then she stands between the two of you, blocking line of sight, looking as tense as could be.
“Just get back to work, and don’t mention this to anyone,” she growled, gesturing towards the door. As soon as the maiden closes it behind her, Cassandra is turning back to you. “Get rid of that stupid fucking blanket or I’m forcing you to wear wet socks.” Understandably, you start giggling at her request, hardly able to believe that she had really just said those words out loud. “Would you prefer I cut up the soles of your feet? I’ll heal long before you do, asshole.” Now that makes you pause, trying to figure out whether or not her threat held up. Even though everyone had a basic understanding of how blood bonds worked (the less romantic, and more historic, way to refer to soulmates), the specifics were confusing for most people, including yourself. Would your aching wounds bother her? Or only the initial injury?... Somehow you had a feeling you’d figure out the answer within the next few days.
Until then, you decide to err on the side of caution, for once in your life. Still, you roll your eyes before you pull the blanket up and out of the tub. Again you spot a faint rosy tint on Cassandra’s face, and her gaze most definitely lingers on places other than your eyes. In the end you have to bite your lower lip to stop yourself from calling her out on it. Gotta get some clothes first, you think, then back to being a dick. Holding back only gets harder from there.
Wordlessly, Cassandra takes a seat by the front of the tub, where your feet are propped up on the edge. Giving you a judgemental look, she pushes them aside so she can reach the controls knobs easier. You give an exaggerated pout in response, only for her to ignore you completely, trying very hard to look anywhere but at you. It was in stark contrast to how she had looked at you a mere half an hour earlier. There were several interesting things to note about her behavior, and you found yourself almost excited to figure out the puzzle she presented. Did she care about you now? Simply because of your blood bond? Did she have a genuine soft spot for romance?... Those sorts of questions were all you could think about, even as Cassandra turned the handles, letting cold water splash into the tub.
“I’d say ‘fuck you’ but honestly, were I in your position I would likely do the same,” you said, shivering a little. Cassandra raises an eyebrow, staring at you like you were stupid, before turning the handle a bit more. Eventually you figure out what she meant by it. “What, you guys don’t have a quality water heater? This is Romania for fuck’s sake. I would have figured the water would be a hell of a lot hotter by now,” you added, only for her to splash some still very much cold water on your face. “Is this fun for you? Are you enjoying this? God, I hope you assholes have Legos somewhere in this maniac menagerie, so I can step on them while you sleep.”
“Do you always spit in the face of kindness?” Cassandra asked, moving towards the other end of the tub as she spoke. Once more you laugh, though this time it’s much more of a hollow sound, and your smile doesn’t reach your eyes. “My sister wanted to kill you, but I pulled your pathetic corpse out of the basement, now I’m letting you use my bath, and you’re mocking me. This is why I don’t bother with this shit,” she growled, even as she wets a washcloth and starts dabbing at your wounds. On one hand you understand her frustration… but on the other you couldn’t get the image of her past victims out of your head.
“Don’t get me wrong, I’d rather be clean than not,” you started to say, pausing to think for a moment. Then you reach out, putting your hand over Cassandra’s, making her freeze in place. It’s soft enough of a touch to surprise her. Which is why it’s so easy for you to snatch the towel from her hands. “You ‘don’t bother’ with this ‘shit’ because you’re a fucking sadist, who thinks all humans are beneath you, who acts like she has every right to bleed innocent people dry, who thinks she’s God’s gift to this goddamn hellhole we call Earth. Do you think this makes up for your sins? Do you-” her nails dig into your arm and she grits her teeth in pain- “think that I can forget listening to the screams of your victims? Whose graves is this castle built upon? Whose fucking bones am I standing on? Who died to keep you alive? How many other versions of me have you killed, in other timelines, in other lives, where the universe didn’t demand that we be together? I’ve seen your heart, girl, and it’s as raw as they come.”
There’s a brief second of intense, furious eye contact. Then a flash of movement, a rush of pain, tears filling the corner of your eyes. Blood pours from the new hole in your shoulder, but Cassandra is quick to lick it up. She’s groaning in between each run of her tongue across your skin, clearly feeling it every bit that you were, yet she shows no signs of stopping. If anything, her pain seems to spur her on harder. Even you can’t help but blush a little as you struggle beneath her grip. Why did vampires have to use their mouths? Why couldn’t they get blood transfusions, like the rest of society? This way, your pleasure mixes with your misery, leaving you confused, and the fact that you’re still naked is not at all helping.
“Oh fuck off, please,” you gasped, trying to push her off of you. To your surprise, she does as asked, pulling away after one last lick. When you turn to look at her, you see your blood covering her lips and dripping down her chin. “You’re a mess, Cassie. Hot water?” With that you return her favor from earlier, splashing some of the (finally above room temperature) water in her direction. Most of it misses her. A few drops, however, do manage to hit their mark. Then she’s wiping her face on her sleeve, scowling the whole time. There’s still plenty of blood on her face afterwards, but it’s nothing compared to what’s gathering on your shoulder. She eyes the wound, nostrils flaring briefly, a predator dying for one more bite. “If you bite me again, I swear to whoever that one lady y’all worship is, I will bite you. My teeth aren’t made for that shit, but I don’t care. We’ll both be miserable and that’s it, baby! That’s love! I’m threatening you with an unhealthy perception of affection, dipshit!”
This time you expect her to move away, or hit you, or do anything other than what she does. Calling your bluff, she moves around the ever-filling tub, pausing to turn the water off, before hiking the edges of her dress up and… oh. Oh. Somehow she’s in the tub with you now, legs on either side of your waist, presenting the side of her neck to you with a knowing smirk. But you are not known for your cleverness. Nor your ability to make good decisions, at that. Perhaps your blood loss was starting to affect your cognition. Whatever made you so feral, so beautifully unhinged, you embraced it with utter glee. Soon enough your teeth find themselves on Cassandra’s throat, digging in enough for you to feel your blood bond reacting. For a moment she stiffens in response. Then she relaxes, even takes in a rush of air that sounds oddly content, leaning into your touch. What the fuck? You think, almost shocked enough to let go. Almost.
“What’s the matter, pet? I thought you wanted me to know what it felt like on the other side of things?” Cassandra teased, voice quiet and low. Something about her tone sends a familiar, although unwanted, feeling to your core. Still, her words egg you on, and you find yourself biting harder, tugging at the skin a little. More tears gather in your eyes, but you fight through the pain as best as you can. You drag your teeth across her skin, wishing for sharper canines, before letting go to inspect your work. There’s a clear outline where your mouth had been, but not a single drop of blood. Frustrated, you go back in for seconds, choosing a different spot to target. Again you go through the motions, only for no crimson to stain your lips. This cycle repeats several more times, with you running your tongue along her neck in between bites, so focused that you don’t realize that she’s grinding against you until she stops.
“I need to file my teeth,” you mused, trying to forget about what you had just done. Now that it’s over, Cassandra seems to feel the same, and she quickly climbs back out of the tub. She’s refusing to meet your gaze, instead focusing on arranging the clothes the servant had brought earlier. By the time she’s facing you again her blush is almost entirely gone.
“Finish cleaning up, then bandage yourself and get dressed. I’ll have a maiden wait outside to bring you back to my room. Don’t even think about trying to run,” Cassandra said sternly. You’re too distracted by the thought of what happened to give her any snarky response. So she simply nods to herself, then leaves, slamming the door behind her. Though you had expected to be relieved by her absence, you find yourself groaning, holding your head in your hands. Why is she so attractive? This is probably illegal, you think, in at least several countries. Or it should be, at least. Now that she’s gone, there’s nothing to distract you from the price of her attention, with your shoulder and neck aching horribly. Cleaning up was going to hurt even worse. Still, you think, at least I’ll have some time to think of new insults. With that in mind, you begin to wash away the blood, thoughts entirely consumed by your newest ‘partner’.

C/n: no no your English is fine. Thanks for requesting and I hope that you enjoy🤍

No Words.(Levi x Reader)
If there was one thing that Levi hated in his adult life, it was people getting on his nerves.
Today just wasn’t it. Levi could feel his head starting to throb and his blood boiling. It was super hot and he had to stay outside for three hours training the new recruits. And when there’s new recruits, there’s stupid mistakes and horrible decisions.
He could not wait to get back inside to have a cold shower and to have his new tea that he bought a couple of days ago. But it looks like, the Man upstairs wasn’t on his side today.
“Levi.” Moblit calls to him and hands him papers. “What’s this?” Levi asks annoyed as he looks through it. “New documents sent by Erwin. He needs you to look over it ASAP and to sign these.” He gives him another stack of papers. “What the fuck? Now?” He asks Moblit. “Yeah. Unfortunately.” Moblit says and turns and walks away. “For fuck’s sake.” Levi muttered and went into his office.
It was dinner time in the Survey Corps and Y/n walks through the halls to her love’s office. She hasn’t seen him the whole day which made her a bit worried because he didn’t even have lunch. Y/n stood in front of his door and knocked. “What?” His rough voice said and she smiles to herself. “It’s me.” She calls and she hears a faint “come in.” Y/n enters his office and he heart sinks at the state of it.
Papers scattered, his desk was a mess, teacups dirty and just laying there. “Levi? What happened here?” She asks as she looks around. “Nothing. What do you want, Y/n?” Levi asks harshly making her wince a bit. “What do I want? Levi, you haven’t eaten the whole day. By the looks of it you were only drinking tea. It’s not enough. Did Erwin give more paperwork?” She asks as she looks as the papers. “Yeah. Seriously, Y/n. I need to do this. Go and eat.” He tells her and she doesn’t move. Instead she takes his hand that was busy writing and holds it, jolting his movements. “Come on, baby. Eat something first.” She tells him softly and he scoffs. Levi abruptly pulls his hand away and looks at her.
Levi’s eyebags were beginning to darken and he looked drained of all life he had. “Y/n. I’m not going to tell you again. Leave me alone.” He threatens and she sighs. “Levi. Please just-” “GET OUT! Stop being so damn irritating for once.” Levi cuts her off and she shuts up. His chest was heaving, but he rolled up his sleeves and continued to write not even acknowledging how Y/n’s tears were running down her face. She puts her head down and walks out of his office and shuts the door behind her, leaving Levi to work.
~~~~
Two Hours Later.
“Fuck.” Levi groans as he rolls his shoulder and wrist. He exhaled and looks outside of his window. By the looks of it, it was already 10pm. He suddenly thought of his conversation with Y/n. “Oh shit.” He sighs out and puts his face in his hands. He was such an ass. He should’ve just left the paperwork and went with her, or not give her such for trying to get him something to eat. Your heart was always in the right place but his head was thinking when he shouted at her. He groans as he thinks of the shot he said to her, stupid shit that he should have never said.
Levi wakes up from his desk and goes outside to find Y/n. He needed to apologize. To own up to his mistake. But, he couldn’t find her. She wasn’t in her office nor the mess hall. So Levi goes to his next hope. “Yo, Four-Eyes. Where’s Y/n?” He asks Hange as she wipes her equipment. “I don’t know. I haven’t seen her since dinner when she went to get you. Where were you, by the way?” She asks. “Shitty Eyebrows gave me heaps of shitty paperwork.” He tells her as he runs a hand through his hair. “Ohhh. But no I haven’t seen her, Levi. Sorry.” Levi nods and leaves. Where could she be? If she wasn’t coming to bed with him, where would she sleep? “The girls chambers. Shit I can’t go in there.” He mumbles to himself but he continued to walk there anyway. He just stood outside and looked at the door. Levi couldn’t wait till morning but it looked like he had no other choice. So he left back to his office where he wouldn’t catch a wink of sleep, because Y/n wasn’t next to him.
“Is he gone?” Y/n ask from the bedroom. “Yeah. You can come out now.” Y/n opens the door and walks to Hange. “Thanks. I owe you one.” She says as she sits down. “So can you tell me what happened?” Hange asks and Y/n explains everything. “Shit. What are you gonna do?” Hange asks Y/n who rubs her face. “I don’t know. I’m just angry right now. With him.” Y/n says and Hange lays a hand on her shoulder. “Get some rest, Y/n.”
~~~~~
The next morning, Levi saw Y/n sitting and talking with Hange in the Mess Hall. Finally. Levi and her lock eyes for a short while but she continues to talk with Hange. “Tch.” He walks and makes his tea and sits across from her. She could feel how intense his gaze was, the aura that radiated from him almost made her want to turn to him and tell him to knock it off. But she didn’t. She didn’t want to piss him off further.
“Y/n.”
She almost flinched at the sound of her lover’s voice. But she didn’t acknowledge him making Hange make big eyes at her and motioning her to her to look. But Y/n subtly shakes her head and gulps down her coffee. “Ms L/n.” Y/n turns to see her commander standing next to her. “Commander.” She says and Levi’s eye twitches. “The new recruits need more training. They’re waiting for you on the field.” Erwin tells her and she nods. Waking up, she nods farewell to hange and completely ignoring Levi’s presence. He almost grabbed her wrist but said no. She’s probably would’ve slapped him if he did.
Y/n stood in the training grounds and watched the cadets train. She expected that they would probably be done by lunch and she could finally rest. What she didn’t expect was to see Levi walking to the cadets. Oh god. What is he doing here?
“Cadets. Sparring time.” He orders out and looks at you. You break the eye contact as many cadets started to murmur among themselves. Y/n groans softly as Levi teamed up cadets with each other. The first match was up and Y/n watched while Levi watched her. His eyes never left. After the first five matches Levi stops the fighting. “Braun.” He says and Reiner stands up tall. “Sir?” He says. “Fight me.” Y/n gasps and looks at Levi with a “what the fuck are you doing” type of look. Levi takes off his jacket and meets Reiner who was already shitting himself. “Start.” He tells Reiner swings his arms in an attempt to punch his Captain but Levi easily dodged them. Suddenly, Levi looked at Y/n and brought Reiner on his stomach with his hands pinning behind his back. All while eye locking with his girlfriend. Y/n scoffs and turns and walks away back to the barracks and Levi wakes up from Reiner as he watches her. “Continue.” Levi orders and takes his jacket and walks to Y/n.
“What game is he playing?” Y/n mutters to herself and rolls her eyes. Unexpectedly, she is yanks by her waist and pulled into a nearby room and was pinned to the door as it closed.
Levi’s eyes bore in not hers as she tried to break away from his grip. “Stop. Stop struggling.” He whispers and she drops her head and became limp. “Talk to me.” He tells her but she doesn’t. What do you want me to say, idiot? Everything stopped and the silence filled the room. Y/n refused to look at Levi but he gently takes his hand and lifts her chin up. “I’m sorry. For what I said. I didn’t mean it. It’s just, yesterday was so horrible and I took out my frustration on you. I shouldn’t have.” Levi apologizes as he cups her cheek. After his apology, Y/n still didn’t talk to him. It’s like she couldn’t. Like she lost her voice from not speaking to him for so long. Levi began to panic.
“Y/n. Hey come on. Stop it. I’m sorry. Talk to me.” He pleaded wanting to her beautiful voice. The voice that tore him away from his nightmares. The one that brought him back to reality.
Y/n looked into his eyes as hers began to water. “I..” she began. “I don’t know, Levi.” Y/n says and looks down. His breath hitched and his eyes widened. “What? Don’t know what?” He asks and his heart began to race. “I didn’t mean that you were irritating. I didn’t, I swear. I love you. I love you so goddamn much. Don’t do this.” He rests his head on her shoulder as his voice cracked. Y/n sighed and hugged him back bringing him closer to her. “I’m not leaving you, idiot. I forgive and love you. But..” she pulls away and cups his face in her hands. “Let me take care of you. Let me help.” She whispers and he closes the gap between their bodies. It’s not hard or rough. He poured all of his love for her in that kiss.
“I will. Just never do that again. I was going insane without hearing your voice.”

PRETTY CARE TAKER.
A/N: In the gross memory of staying 2 days in hospital and making a mess out of myself in the ER + not getting any Harry to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Y/N doesn’t have any idea how she reached here. Last thing she knows is, her joints and limbs were on fire and she felt like a chicken rotisserie; wrapped in a blanket and adorned with a shitface she called an Uber and that’s how she found herself in this hospital bed where someone’s hovering over her and some imbecile’s slapping flies away packed in corner she wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out to be her bestfriend.
With a pounding head she tried to peek through narrows slits painstakingly if she’ll be honest the first thing she was smacked with was green eyes, too bright and shiny and assuring yet concerned for the girl who’s comically surprised as if she woke up on the lands of Mars and the second a little name tag that was too hard to read with such fuzziness.
“Hi, honey. ‘M Harry Styles, your assigned nurse.” He greeted her tucking her reports and her vitals clipboard in his armpit, pressing a button to elevate her bed to make her feel comfortable.
“How long I’ve been out?” She asked groggily. Vision blurry and throat parched with tiniest bit of drool on the corners of her mouth.
His brows raised begrudgingly from where he’s concentrating down on her reports. He slowly moves his eyes to set on her, smiling at her softly, he’s got dimples and all those pretty boyish stuff Y/N would have squealed over if she wasn’t feeling this sick, “You fainted on the doors of ER. don’t worry I got ya strawberry blanket safe and secure in one of your lockers.” Her head quickly bobbed down to take a look at herself finding herself in a hospital robe cheeks tinting with embarrassment from either the information.
She tilted her head in the big pillow to wash away her own awkwardness asking him teasingly, “Was I heavy to lug around.” A rum of cackle mingled with the sound of air conditioner running low and Harry shook his head matching her wit even though they both know stretchers exists for a reason.
“Jus’ a sack of rice.” He quips moving his eyes away from Y/N who's giggling tiredly with a pout to glance back at one of the lady nurse bringing a tray of food and Y/N’s medicines for the day. He grabs the trays from the older nurse and thanks her politely before sitting it at the wooden palette.
“Y/N do y’want t’a go to washroom before having your meal? It’ll be better if you do.” He asks watching gears going maniac in her brain for the littlest of thing. She does want to. She just doesn’t want to make a mess out of herself.
“I feel wobbly,” She murmurs trying to sit up and Harry immediately comes to her side unhooking her IV carefully and helping her up with his hand spanned on the length of her shoulder, “’M here for a reason. You not worry and jus' relax.” He coils his arm around where his hand was previously and uprights her on her feet towards the washroom.
“Will you be okay on your own inside? Do you want me to call some lady nurse?” He twisted the door-knob for her easily and she just shakes her head passing him a weak smile, “I’ll be fine. Thank you.”
He was pouring a glass of water for her when she trotted back and helped putting her feet back on the bed when she struggled to, “I look like some vampire sucked all blood out of me.” She murmured shuddering at the cool air hitting her wet face.
“Mosquitos are eviller than vampires.”
“Malaria?” She asks, her suspicions already confirming at his pity-filled eyes.
“Out of all people, these nasty bugs had a personal issue with me?”
“What a personal attack!”
“Quite personal because your platelets are low and you mightyy have to spend a week here, atleast you’ll get alot of rest.” He fills her with the news slowly and cautiously not sure how she’ll take it because most patients tend to cry at the spot— but she paints a brave expression on her face and nods curtly.
“But what about my UNI? They’ll have my head on plate.” She rolls the peas and if not for Harry’s deterred careful gaze on her she’d have move to the pomegranates already.
“We’ll take care of it, yeah? The only way you could heal early is to rest and relax got it?”
.
“Rise and shine, love. How are you feeling?” Next day in the morning he comes with a tray of food and her medicines in a cup himself.
“Proper dog poop.” She knuckles at her eyes, voice barely audible and when she sits up with much tug and war she sees galaxies everywhere.
Her time has finally come.
“Harry. . .” She calls him from where he’s checking her reports from last night and Harry’s head snaps up quickly, scurrying towards her worriedly when she flops back into the pillows weakly— her groans and whines filling the room.
“M-my ears, they are.. buzzing and I couldn’t see a thing.” She sniffled grasping onto his wrist in panic and Harry rubs her arms, “’S okay you’re okay.” His voice calming and tranquil and Y/N wonders how many patients had just healed from his rasp alone.
“It’s hot in here and ye' blood pressure is high from all of the medicines– did you ask to turn off air conditioner last night?” He adjusts her to lay a tad straighter on the pillows and she nods feeling her tongue swelling up, “Was cold.”
“It’s okay. It happens from suffocation, you’ll be good in a second lemme just—” He didn’t realize he was gripping onto his pager with such force as he rushed to roll the curtains to let the sunshine in and turned on the AC setting it to a low temperature.
“Take a huge breather f’me, honey.” He croons. Heart stringing at the gloss in her eyes and she follows the rise and fall of his chest.
“Have breakfast. Ten minutes later, I’ll give ya your medicines and take a nap. If you’ll be able to walk we could go outside and sit on one of the benches for fresh air, yeah?”
He notices the tremble in her fingers trying to grab onto her fork and without a word takes it from her weary grasp and tears the french toast bringing it to her mouth.
Never in her life Y/N thought she’d be treated such as a royalty moreso from someone who’s this darn handsome.
“How are you feeling now?” Though, the white dark circles are prominent on her. Her lips and nails pale and her cheeks missing its plumpness, she still manages a tiny murmur that makes Harry smile.
“Peachy.”
“Good.”
.
It’s her fourth day in the hospital today. Harry visits her four times a day how much she assures him it’s not necessary and but he scolds her that’s she’s equally important as other patients. Bonus points are him tagging along her doctors checkups and waving her sneakily with his arms folded behind him and passing her a small shy smile.
She’s already bored to hell. Quite sure if her bestfriend would’ve been here the days would have passed in a span of light but due to covid restrictions visitors aren’t allowed and y/n doesn’t want to be selfish and put her friend in danger.
She isn’t allowed to use her phone, not any conspiracy behind it but Harry had strictly demanded her not to. It sores your shoulders and makes you more sick than you already are par him (he’s worst than her mom who believes in WhatsApp remedies alot and thinks that phones are rooted to every problem), she doesn’t watch telly because it cranks her neck and it got the same episode of kardashians running on loop making her want to scoop her eyeballs out because they already burn alot so when Harry brought her a puzzle she was surprised and over the moon to busy herself solving it.
Until now, as she couldn’t put it together and she slams her fist with a pout.
Her eyes heavy and her body turning lethargic, “Think you really wanna have fight with me.” She grumbles softly and he just chuckles collecting the puzzle to put it away and she flumps back crossing her arms atop her chest.
“Nope.” His eyes flits over her adorably grumpy features as he tucks away an extra pillow from behind her and lower her bed, “Whyyy.” Her whine sloppy.
“’Cos I know I wouldn’t even last a round fighting you.” He says nonchalantly whilst checking her thermometer and even though he tries to keep himself grounded but the last few days he has grown fond of her which's very not him when tending to patients.
“Would hurt my poor ego, wouldn’t it, love?” He asks. Adoring gaze on her trying to fight the sleep away, her mouth parting and her eyelids drowsy as she folds onto Harry’s side.
“What did you put in my cherry slurpi?” She asks him not sure why out of blue she feels so sleepy and ready to knock out.
“Drugs.” He deadpans. He’s not wrong though.
“Sneaky enough.”
Her next innocent question, hitches his breath and blows his pupils away.
“Would you be there when I wake up?” She asks drowsily. Trying to brush away the annoying strands of hair falling in her eyes away.
“’Course, love.” Harry promises her tucking her hair behind her ear and gives a little pat to her head.
That night Harry stayed past his shift to fulfil his promise and got teased from the HR staff for being whipped for the girl that’s equally very fond of the brunette.
.
“Harry...?” She sure couldn’t believe her eyes, her sick eyes when Harry makes his way inside not to wake or startle her.
He’s not in his nurse scrubs. Wearing a bode corduroy shirt and brown pants, his hair aren’t gelled as they usually are instead they’re tousled into cream ribbons and he’s such a sight for sore eyes.
They both wouldn’t admit it but they missed eachother terribly especially Harry because Fridays were his offs and he wanted to make sure Y/N was okay.
“Hi. How are ya?” He asks sheepishly and Y/N laughs. It’s the first time he has listened her sweet laugh and she bobs her head, “Do you even rest? Or I’ve been a major reason fo’ your nightmares?”
“Could never.” He simpers sitting on the couch near to her and how he’s gonna tell her she’s more in his dreams than his nightmares, he kept flipping restless whole night thinking if she’s okay and a lady nurse comes with steel tray of Y/N’s daily injection giving Harry a knowing smile and Y/N doesn’t want to be rude but it’s the first time someone else will do it except Harry and the anxiousness is obvious on her healing face.
“I’ll tend to her, it’s okay Mrs. Bright.” Noticing her unease Harry flies to latch on trays quite theatrically making nurse Bright shake her head at the foolish sweet boy in disbelief.
No words were exchanged as he snapped the latex gloves around his wrists filling the injection with the medicine, “This ones gonna sting.” He tells her softly and she rolls her bottom lip in anticipation bolting her eyes shut as he taps the spot before inserting the needle in her delicate skin.
She wheezes a breath, that catches Harry’s slightest attention and he smiles when she tries to distract herself with the round circles on her arms he’s marked with a pink sharpie, like giving a fussy kid stars to make them happy, “Why do up keep tattooing me Mr. Styles.” A lilt of tease and waver of pain in her voice.
She hisses when he carefully takes the needle out, “It’s to make sure I wouldn’t inject you in the same spot again.” He watches her curling her toes because damn it actually stings like a bitch.
He soothes her with sweet hushing, rubbing her arm that numbs for a second and she breathes out a chuckle, “Fuck.” Tears blossoming the corners of her eyes.
“You’re okay, ‘s alright, ‘s okay.. woul you like some cherry slurpi darling, hmm?” He croons sweetly, smiling how her eyes brightened up at the mention of slurpi.
“Yeah I’d love.” He’s already jabbing the straw in the tiny straw and wrapping her fingers around the packet and tapping the end of straw against the smiling slope of her lips.
“I’ll be a half nurse when I’m stepping out from here.”
“Good. ‘cos trust me nursing schools are pain in arse.” He discards his gloves away and goes to sit closer to her, making her tummy absolute butterflyyy she blames it on her sickness.
“You’re the best, y’know tha’?” She chews onto her straw nudging his thigh from where he’s sitting parallel to her and he tugs at her toes, “Boosting my ego aren’t you?” He grins and she doesn’t hesitate to agree.
“You still don’t want to have a lil fight with me? C’mon ‘m bored!” She sways and closes her fingers into a fist as she’s ready to take him down any minute slumping in defeat when he shakes his head with a giggle.
“Don’t you want to fight for this pillow fort and these beeping machine kingdom?” She grins lethargically now sure he actually got some drugs in this slurpi because one sip and she feels like a blob fish.
“I’ve got this hospital castle all to myself why would I want your small cottage?” He teases, massaging her calves and hesitates when she breathes heavily but soon she's purring into her pillow ready to drowse off and Harry squeezes her ankle wishing her a good sleep.
It was past midnight and Harry frowned, he hasn’t left her side and he feels quilty for his feelings coming in between his profession but then he gives himself the excuse of Fridays are off card and every guilt washes away.
He frowned. Heart tugging in concern when Y/N woke up with a scared gasp and a cold sweat searching blindly around the bed in the mellow light of lamp.
He’s turns into a puddle of floss when she murmurs his name sleepily and hoarsely, “Harry?” Before it got any louder he scooted towards her wiping sweat away from her forehead and caressed a thumb up her cheek.
“’M here... ‘m right here, darling.” He whispers carding his long fingers through her hair and in haziness she feels the chillness of his rings she has never seen on his fingers before, “Can you ... “ She gulps, eyes fluttering in slumber, “Will you cuddle me, please?” She curled into him shivering with the chill of her sweat drying.
“You’re so warm... “ She murmurs when Harry wraps an arm around her and pushes her closer to him, cupping her head to make her nuzzle in his chest. His lips quirks up when Y/N whines again cuddling into him like a touched starved kitten, “You smell nice too. I smell like hospital, meds and Vicks balm.”
.
On her discharge day. She was bummed she couldn’t find Harry anywhere she just wanted to thank him and a sad pout sat on her lips, too shy to ask the receptionist about him.
She was walking out of the hospital when a loud heavy pant of her name stopped her in mid-tracks, a beam of thousand suns adoring her face as Harry gleams at her endearingly.
“Y/N ...” He breathes with a wide mouthed simper ducking a little from running all the way to her.
“Harry ...” She grins, taking a step closer to him and feeling her insides swarm with giddiness at his gentle hold to her wrist.
Her eyes falls over her strawberry blanket and the lily scenting bath bombs (hoping it might help her get rid of hospital smell) he has wrapped in a gift bag with a ‘ready to fight me?’ tag which he forwards towards her, scratching the back of his neck.
“Thank you, Harry.” His heart hiccups in his chest when she tiptoes to plant a soft peck to his cheek and his warm loving hand spreads on the lower of her spine instinctively.
“Will you gimme your number already, or I’ve to come back to collect you myself?” She teases him, taking his beloved gifts happily from him and twirls the tag feeling his nose running down her hairline.
“I hope not. Seriously, no.” He grimaces petting her hair and she smiles shyly as he writes his number down on her palm.
“Fridays are off, right?”
“Fridays are off.” He nods with a grin.
“Meet you Friday night?”
“Meet me Friday night.” He’s already waiting impatiently and excitedly to meet her out of hospital premises.

Class Drama and Anger Issues
Hey besties this will contain swearing, violence, catcalling/ sexual harassment, blood and just horrible behaviour so please take care reading this, love you all <3
You had always been very protective of your friends
It wasn’t like you didn’t think they could stand up for themselves
You understood that 100%
However whenever anyone insulted them or talked bad about them you were the first person to throw hands
You were sure that your jaw had locked from how long you had been tensing it. You see, being sat at the back of the classroom was great, you could see everyone and hear everyone. Which means that whenever someone decided to bitch and moan about the people in the little group you had managed to join, that you would be the first person to hear it. Like right now for example, Liz and Peter had broken up a few days ago and she didn’t take it so well and had taken up talking about him behind his back. Which had led us to this: you at the back of the room, fists and jaw clenched in an effort to not walk over to her and her little friends and wipe that smug look right off her face. “And he isn’t even that smart, God knows how he got into Stark industries” nope that was it, that was the last straw. You pushed the stupid science lab chair back so hard it fell to the ground, heads turned to you as you stormed over to where Liz and her group where currently at which just happened to be at the front of the classroom. God, were you lucky that the teacher had left to go grab some more textbooks from some cupboard down the hall, otherwise you would have been dead when you said “Listen Liz. Peter is an amazing and smart boy who cares more for others than he does himself. He works harder than anyone else I know and he still manages to make sure others are okay. He is twice the person you will ever be and if you don't shut up in the next 2 minutes you won’t have to worry about being bitter over a breakup, you’ll be too worried about getting a set of new teeth”. If this was a cartoon steam would be pouring from your ears and your face would be blood red, which wasn’t too far from what you looked like now. Peter had taken a sick day and thank god he had, otherwise he would have killed you for even saying anything, however Ned was still here and he was waiting to see how far you would go before having to step in and calm you down. “Oh how sweet L/n, you think you’re all strong and scary” her and her friends' sickly sweet laughs echoed in your ears as you clenched your fists even harder. “Y/n come on Peter wouldn’t want this” ned tried to reason and even in your rage filled stupor you realised he was right and took a breath to try and calm yourself down “say anything again and you’ll see just how strong and scary I can be” you spat, stroming away, grabbing your bag and walking out of the room just in time for your teacher to walk back in, “where’s L/n?” he asked.
Okay maybe you did tend to overreact
You just really cared about your friends
They were there when you needed them and you wanted to do the same
You couldn’t help it that you got angry when people decided to talk about them
In some situations though it was acceptable to get angry
You, Mj and Betty had been coming back from the Cinema late one night after deciding that you deserved to spend some time together after exam week to treat yourselves. Unfortunately walking through the streets at 10pm meant getting some very unwanted attention from older men. “Hey mama looking good” one man slurred as you walked past him grabbing the girls hands a little tighter in an attempt to ground yourself and reassure them that you would keep them save, “hey don’t be like that, we just want to talk” another man added, honestly what was it with them? Couldn’t they see you obviously didn’t want to “talk” to them. You hadn’t even realised your feet had stopped moving until Betty gently placed her hand on your shoulder and whispered “It’s fine just let it go” and tried to give you a nudge in the direction you had originally been going. “Hey! Don’t just ignore us! We know you want some attention” you didn’t know who had said it and at this point you didn’t care, worrying more about teaching them a thing called respect than about who voiced their unwanted thoughts. Letting go of your friends hands, turning around slowly and walking towards the men with a smile on your face so sweet it was almost scary. “Didn’t anyone ever tell you that women aren’t your submissive little toys?” you sung punctuating your sentence with a kick to one guy's nuts and a punch to the other's nose. “Because someone really should” and as the men were recovering from your atack you stalked away along the dimly lit street and continuing your journey to Mj’s house.
Okay so we have clearly established your hatred towards people who disrespect your friends
The Avengers new about your strong feelings and respected the fire that you had
Of course they did have Bruce try and teach you some breathing exercises
Spoiler alert they didn’t help very much
So when Bucky got a call from your school telling him that he would have to pick you up as you were suspended for a week
He couldn’t say he was surprised
“I’m going to pick Y/n up from school, be back in a bit” Bucky called to the rest of the team who had been watching some sort of reality show on the new Tv Tony had no reason to buy but did, “why? What happened?” Steve replied, a look of concern on his face “They got into a fight and so they are suspended for a week” the supersoldier sighed, grabbing the car keys and whispering “what did you do this time Y/n” to himself.
I’ll tell you what happened
You had been on your way to English when you had seen Flash taunting Mj, waving her book above his head and laughing hysterically about something. Instantly you dropped your bag to the floor and stormed over to them “Hey Flash, what are you doing there buddy?” you shouted loud enough to seem intimidating but not loud enough to capture the attention of the teachers and students who were already in class. “None of your business Y/n, move along” he spat back, if looks could kill he would be six feet under and halfway to hell as you ripped the book from his grasp and slammed him into the lockers “really? Because to me it looks like you’re being rude to my good friend Mj and I don’t take that very lightly”. Gripping him by the collar and pushing him even further into the lockers that he was sure his body had made a dent in the metal, however flash was never one to give up like the shaking leaf of a man he was. Pushing you hands off and shoving you by your shoulders he said “aww look Mj your angry little guard dog has come to your rescue again. How sweet” if there was one thing you hated more than stupid boys and disrespect it was being called a dog. You weren’t gonna let him call you that. Quicker than he could say “Don’t hit me” your fist came flying straight into the boy's noise, a satisfying crunch being made upon impact. Now throughout all of this no one had heard the commotion and they wouldn’t have if Flash didn’t scream out in pain and then faint at the sight of his own blood.
That’s how you ended up getting suspended
It was what you had told your dad when he picked you up because you had no reason to lie
No matter how proud of you he was he still gave you a talking to
You both had a long talk about how best to go about controlling your anger and instead of going back to Bruce you decided to take a few anger management classes
And so far it’s going great
(Until flash decides to open his mouth again)

Ateez as Vampires (Vampire AU)
Tumblr media
Obviously this had to be done! Ateez just dropped A Vampire Version of Deja Vu so of course I needed to do this! Link in red!
So what would Ateez be like as creatures of the night! Maybe this might tie into a story, not sure yet.
But let's get to it!!
Warnings: Blood (obvi), some language
Scenario: romance, drama, vampire au
𝓗𝓸𝓷𝓰𝓙𝓸𝓸𝓷𝓰🥀
Tumblr media
He's the leader
He's use to being in charge
When he first meets you and you don't comply to his orders
He's going to get mad
He's going to threaten you
"Obey me... or else"
Something like that
But the more he knows you
The more he wants you
Not even your blood
He wants your heart
He wants you to belong to him
"You're mine now... and I don't plan on giving you back"
Oof my heart 😳
𝓢𝓮𝓸𝓷𝓰𝓱𝔀𝓪🥀
Tumblr media
He has a cold aura to him
He had you pinned against the wall of an alley ready to sink his fangs in your fresh clean neck
But he couldn't
He couldn't take his eyes off of you
You weren't even showing any signs of resistance
Like you had come to your fate
His fangs wouldn't even show
Everytime he wanted to taste your blood
His body would reject the desire
It was almost like he couldn't hurt you
He wanted to protect you
"For some reason... I can't hurt you... and it's kind of pissing me off"
Suddenly everything was you
The reason why he was here
And he would kill anyone who tried to hurt you.
"I want to protect you... please let me protect you"
𝓨𝓾𝓷𝓱𝓸🥀
Tumblr media
This boy has singlehandedly stolen my heart... I have given in
Yunho is gentle
He has always been
When he first met you he saved you from being attacked by another vampire
He picked you up and carried you to a safe place
But then after that
He was completely captivated by you
His mind became foggy
He couldn't think straight
You roam every corner of his mind
"I can't stop thinking about her"
He would do anything to see you again
He would also do anything to make you his
"I have to find a way... to make her mine"
(Boy! It's working 🥴)
𝓨𝓮𝓸𝓼𝓪𝓷𝓰🥀
Tumblr media
Yeosang was cold
Harsh
Your words meant absolutely nothing to him
He sank his cold fangs into your warm neck
Your soft whimpers were faint in his ears
But the coldness of his heart made him almost deaf to your small cries
But as he pulled away and saw a single tear roll down your cheek
His heart ached
He shouldn't feel it because his heart isn't beating
But he felt stings
He ran and brought a wet cloth out to clean the blood from your neck
"I'm sorry" he said blankly
The guilt poured out from him eyes
He gently wiped the tears that burned your eyes
His touch was gentle, you felt like porcelain in his hands and if he applied even the slightest pressure, you'd break
He caressed your face
Something about his touch was soothing
It shouldn't be, because he just bit into you
But it was
"I'm sorry... I won't do that again"
𝓢𝓪𝓷🥀
Tumblr media
He was hypnotic
You were immediately drawn to him
And he was the same towards you
He wanted you
But not in a sexual way
He wanted to hold you
Feel your gentle touch
Kiss your sweet lips
His mind went cloudy with all these thoughts
Blood wasn't even running through his mind
Which was odd
He's been with girls before
And they all end the same way
His fangs in their neck tasting the blood he craves
But you were different
He didn't want to your blood
All he wanted to taste was your lips
You were the only thing he craved
When he finally got the taste of your sweet kiss
It was all he wanted.
"I have a craving... and it's not for your blood"
𝓜𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓲🥀
Tumblr media
Mingi was confused
He was a killer
A monster
He fed on human blood
He didn't deserve to have such a beautiful soul be in love with him
And yet here you were
He didn't deserve your love
The kindness you always showed him
You knew exactly what he was too
You just didn't care
You should have been terrified of him
Run away from him
But you stayed
You held his cold hand
The warmth of yours sent chills through his body
"I don't understand you should be afraid of me"
He held you in his arms as sleep took over your body
He watched as your eyes fluttered your heart beating at a gentle rhythm against his chest
He brushed the strand of hair away from your face as he watched you dream your beautiful dreams
A small smile tugging his mouth
"I won't let anyone ever hurt you"
𝓦𝓸𝓸𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓰🥀
Tumblr media
He specialized in the art of seduction
That's how he caught his prey
You would be his next victim
But you didn't buy into it
In fact you weren't interested at all
This put a slight dent in his ego
And he didn't like this one bit
Suddenly you were a challenge to him
A challenge he was losing at
And he hates losing
So when he got you alone
He had you pinned to the wall
"You're driving me nuts, you know that?"
You gave him a challenging expression
And a little smirk
He was ready to dig his fangs into your flesh and make you pay for your actions
But when he got close to your neck, he left a soft kiss that slowly trailed up to your lips
He got lost in your sweet taste and your blood was his last priority
He looked you in the eyes
Licked his lips
And with a small smirk at the corner of ruby red lips
Simply said
"I knew I could get you to crack"
𝓙𝓸𝓷𝓰𝓱𝓸🥀
Tumblr media
Being the youngest was always difficult for Jongho
He had to depend on his hyungs for a lot of things
Including them explaining to him the feelings he had for you
He couldn't explain it at first
Normally every human made him crave blood
He would think of their blood running down his throat
But this time
It was you
And he he felt other things
He wanted to hold your hand
Walk beside you
He wanted to have you to himself
But everytime he thought of what your blood would taste like
His mind was changed he would see your face in this thoughts and suddenly he couldn't think of hurting you
"I can't hurt her"
He was thinking too much on it
He had you in his grip
He was going to bite you and taste your blood
You were just another mortal to him
Nothing more
Your worried eyes stared at him
He leaned in
But he froze when he saw your eyes shut tightly in fear
With out hesitation his lips slowly found their way to yours and he couldn't resist himself anymore
"I can't contain myself anymore"
Hope everyone had an awesome, fun and safe Halloween! I'll be doing more scenarios including some Christmas ones soon!
Happy Halloween my lovely Atiny! 🎃

Tattoo Shop AU - a quick, practical guide for writers
Guest Post by lebanon-hangover
lebanon-hangover said: this is based on my personal experience with the industry only, so depending on the era and country you are portraying, it may not be 100% accurate for your setting.
Hygiene
It may not be obvious at first glance, but most tattooists are clean freaks. We work with human blood every day, and we get clients from all ages, ethnic and social economic backgrounds, with all sorts of medical conditions.
We usually mop frequently, bleach the sinks, wipe down everything, and use cling film or bags to wrap everything. I mean fucking everything. We also scrub in, and sanitise the area on the person we work on.
Needles are collected in a sharps bin, and handled very carefully. Medical waste goes in yellow bags, and both are collected by a professional service.
Used ink caps may look full, but the ink gets diluted by blood. Like you dip the inky needle into the person, but you also dip the person’s blood into your ink. These are medical waste too.
Cleaning up must be done promptly after the session. Bin everything disposable, put things through the ultrasonic and the autoclave, and sanitise the area. We may take machines apart, but more for maintenance than cleaning, sometimes we swap parts in them too.
We have two sinks, one for hand washing, one for cleaning.
All inks and needles have use by dates.
The internal dynamics of a studio
Depending on the country, some tattoo shops tend to have ties to biker gangs, and some of those internal dynamics and unwritten rules are often present.
There’s a pecking order and it’s dead serious. Basically the longer you’ve been in a shop, the higher ‘rank’ you are, you get the better positioned stations, first pick of walk-ins, etc (Unless the client is asking for someone by name). Regardless of your actual experience in the industry, like if you move into your old apprentice’s shop, they are still senior to you. If the owner or their partner is an artist, obviously they are on top of the chain by default.
We are self employed, but we have a boss. You are only making money if you are working, but you still have set work hours.
We get paid by the clients, and we pay the studio a cut. In return, there are some items provided by them, and some we buy for ourselves. Usually the chairs, tattoo beds, gloves, cleaning products, clip cord covers, masks, aprons, ink caps, vaseline, green soap, and some basic ink is provided by the shop. We buy our own machines, arm rests, stations, pedals, power supplies, clipcords, tips and grips, needles, special colours, stencil fluid…these are a personal preference, and often depend on the artists’ style.
We totally ask to try out each other’s equipment sometimes, or ask for a certain type of needle if we ran out.
The receptionist is usually just one of us, maybe a piercer, but it also can be a hired person in top studios.
The apprentice in the traditional system is often mistreated, and they have to pay for their education, have to be there multiple days a week and don’t make any money. It’s kind of like a tear them down, build them back up again thing to see if they are really serious about the job. Times are slowly changing, but 99% of them will always need a second job. Most of them are working as bar staff.
When you open a new studio, you must visit all the existing local ones and introduce yourself, otherwise you may get a brick through the window. Otherwise there’s not much beef among individual artists, they are often friends, go to conventions together and party after, etc.
The Artists
Tattooing is a fairly physical job, stretching skin is very important. We have to also keep our clients safely still, so we often use positions to pin them down a bit. Sometimes you hit a reflex point on the foot or under a knee, and you don’t want to get kicked. Sometimes you have to pull away super fast, cos they are sneezing, yawning or giggling.
Most tattooists drink a lot of coffee, tea or energy drinks.
Some people are all rounders, some have specific styles, but we recognise each other’s art styles. Sometimes we delegate work to each other, if we think our coworkers style fits the concept better. For example if there’s a person who does script well, we give them those projects.
We don’t like when people come in with designs from other artists. Art theft is frowned upon, and we work best with our own drawings.
Most apprentices practice on their own legs, and sometimes we tattoo each other when it’s quiet. Most people have cover ups, or bad pieces from their early days. The artists’ own tattoos sometimes are in a different style than what they do, but we like to collect ink from friends or colleagues we admire.
In the first 1-2 years one is an apprentice, then junior artist. At 5-8 years of tattooing, you have earned your stripes and are considered an experienced artist.
Conventions are really fun, but can be stressful. You can make good money working at one, and sometimes get awarded for it too. We can also spend a lot at a convention.
Sometimes we poke our fingers by accident, and it’s a scary thing. Good case scenario is just some random dots on your fingers. Let’s not go into the bad case scenario.
We do guest spots sometimes, just to meet new clients, and change it up a bit.
We spend a lot of time drawing up things, and designs are meant to fall on specific muscles, stretch with the skin a certain way, so they are tailored to the body proportions of the client. A good tattoo is also an optical illusion, complimenting the body shape.
Social media presence is like a second job, you need good photos, and you need to market yourself.
Tattoo ink does not wash out, so some stains are inevitable when pouring it out. Those ink bottles get stuck so easily, and we wrestle them a lot. We try to avoid it, but wearing all dark colours is a thing for a reason.
The Clients
Tattooists need to have a good ‘bedside manners’ too. We get nervous or self conscious people, and we are told personal things during long sessions. For example scar coverups and memorial pieces can be very emotional.
We have pretty good poker faces and first aid trainings. People can faint, get shaky, throw up, some have seizures, have b.o., get sweaty, etc the same way as at a blood donation event? It’s no big deal really. We sit them down, give them some water and some sugar, and re-book them if necessary. Most artists keep some wet wipes, mouth wash, deodorant, sweets, maybe even some clean clothes at work, just in case.
If someone comes in with a wild idea for a jobstopper, we would sit down and have a long talk. If they haven’t got many tattoos, we usually try to stir them towards more safe choices, offering them creative ideas. It’s like those jedi mind tricks sometimes.
If someone is undecided, we show them our own hand drawn flash sheets. Once its gone, its gone tho, we don’t use the designs twice.
Pinterest is full of photoshopped fake tattoos, some that won’t even work as real ink. Many people also touch up their work digitally on photos, so some clients have really unrealistic expectations.
We can totally tell if someone is intoxicated or hangover. It thins the blood, and they bleed out the ink, and it’s super annoying. if it’s bad, they will be sent home and rebooked.
Some folks are self conscious about body hair, their size, stretch marks and scars. Chances are, we have seen similar, and we aren’t bothered by it, because it’s work. Surgery scars, scars from accidents, self harm scars, burns, we see it all the time. We shave some really hairy dudes all the time girl, your legs are fine. Seriously. If something makes tattooing you dangerous we will tell you.
Fit, muscular people are harder to tattoo because they are really firm. Its a workout for us.
Everyone gets midnight messages about the aftercare from nervous clients, and drunken booty calls about getting inked right at this second. We have copy paste replies…
We get creeps sometimes. Stalking, weird conversations, tmi info dumps etc.
Other things to include (for fun, or for plot reasons)
We sometimes have those “oh fuck” moments. We all do, but mistakes can be fixed, and we play it cool.
Tattooing takes time. Usually 30 minutes to multiple sessions though years and years.
Healing tattoos takes about 2-4ish weeks, and your characters shouldn’t go roll around in dirt, sunbathe, swim, pick at the scabs. Nasty infections, and messed up tattoos would be the results.
If you have a strong immune system, and you get a lot of work done in one sitting, you may get a brief bit of a temperature. It’s normal, and will go away.
Its a lot easier to get seriously drunk after getting a tattoo. Be careful.
We sometimes draw on each other for practice with our marker pens.
Tattoos are inside the skin, not on top of it. Imagine a low opacity, skin toned layer over the ink, adding to the healed tattoos’ colour. Please stop making your characters skin fully transparent.
Heavy blackwork and palms are done in multiple sessions.
You can’t cover up moles, because if they develop skin cancer, the dermatologist can’t see the signs.
There’s a stereotype about piercers having blacked out sleeves.
Stencil fluid looks just like cum.
You get that annoying itch on your face when you scrubbed in, put on gloves and finally ready to go.
Some artists have a strong preference for coil or rotary machines, and they bicker about it a lot. Coils are louder, more punchy, and more traditional, perfect for lineart. They can be customised, and they last forever. They are also called glorified doorbells by people who prefer rotaries. Rotary machines are smoother, lighter, and often use needles that are pulled back into the cartridges for safety. They are better for shading and delicate line work. Older tattooists often say they are dildo or butt plug shaped, overly delicate and are for “soft millennials” only.
Every artist owns like 5 to 20 machines, and they have specific machine builders they are loyal to.
The “which cable is broken and cutting out” guessing game. Clip cords and pedal cables get worn out easily, and that results in your machine running really jerky.
Walk-in always show up 10 minutes before closing.
We often look quite silly at work. Sleeves rolled up, folks use all sorts of plastic ppe, headlamps, and we tie up our hair. Add couple of purple smears from carbon paper, and we aren’t scary at all.
