The way I'm about to fucking lose it at the way Marius' tag has been polluted. Fuck off out of his name tag if you hate him! Start using an anti tag or something like a decent person and leave his actual name to those of us who love him!

So to start with, if you don't like this blog and the things I post on it, nobody's putting a gun to your head asking you to look at it. Feel free to block me, blacklist my username, block the anti and critical tags I try to use VERY frequently, etc. Nobody's asking you to look at the things I post and, quite honestly, the fact that you felt the need to leave me this message tells me that between the two of us, you're the one being unhealthy because you felt the need to tell someone innocently staying in their own lane that they're participating in fandom wrong rather than just... moving on and doing fandom in a way you enjoy more. If you want to see something else, go look at a different blog or make your own posts. Nobody's stopping you, least of all me.

But to actually answer the question you didn't ask, I made this blog because I wanted a place to make the kind of posts I wanted to see. Yes, it's a venting blog. That means sometimes I vent about the same thing more than once. Breaking news: people in fandom talk about the same hyperfixation more than once sometimes!

My best friend in the Star Wars fandom happens to be someone who really likes Anakin. So whenever I disliked something about Anakin, she was not the person I could go to in order to discuss it. Well, not always anyway. Not when I got particularly bitter about it. And at the time that I made this blog over a year ago, I didn't have anywhere else to go to vent those feelings, so I made one for myself. I made myself a tiny safe haven where I could simply write those feelings out that I never really saw anybody else making or discussing. This wasn't intended to be a popular blog. I expected it to get about two followers total maybe and a LOT of haters.

Instead, I've actually heard from a number of people that this blog let them feel seen. That the things I've written have felt really relatable to people who just can't connect to all of the Anakin love that tends to exist in the fandom. Because yes, Anakin's been the villain since the 1970s, but you must not have spent a lot of time in this fandom because that is NOT a thing that a lot of his fans tend to remember or even believe anymore. According to a good number of Anakin fans, the Jedi are the real villains and Anakin is just a tragic victim who didn't really do anything wrong. And even a lot of the people who DO recognize that Anakin is the villain of the story often still tend to like Anakin as this tragic character and will primarily post positive things about him. So for those of us who just... don't LIKE Anakin very much, there isn't as much content out there for us. You either accept all of the Anakin love along with the content for the other characters you like or you just... don't consume very much content within the fandom. Or you find a very specific niche to try to stay in that you like better, I guess. But Anakin's the main character of the main saga, he's hard to avoid entirely.

So this blog helps provide one little safe haven for others who just... don't like this character much.

And that's not even the entirety of this blog anyway. If you had scrolled through it much, you might've noticed the fic rec lists that have nothing to do with Anakin at all and are actually a lot more aimed at being Pro Jedi. Because this blog is just as much about loving the Jedi as it is about disliking Anakin. You might've also noticed the extensive AU concepts I've written a few times, one of the most recent of which actually ended up leading to Anakin surviving ROTJ and figuring out how to stop being a Sith and getting mentally healthy. And Anakin's not even the only character who's GOTTEN criticism on this blog, the pinned post on this blog lists a good 10 characters I've had to add to it because there IS going to be criticism for them here, too, from Satine and Bo-Katan Kryze, to Aleksander Kallus, to Crosshair and TBB as a show in general, to Padme Amidala herself. Not to mention some criticism of Ahsoka, as well, sometimes. I'm an all access kind of hater I guess, I like to have a varied diet of characters I complain about.

So yes, it's a blog named antianakin because the url wasn't taken, I thought it was funny, and it works as a WARNING for anybody who sees my posts or decides to come onto my blog. Obviously it doesn't keep EVERYBODY out who shouldn't be looking at them, look at yourself for a good example of that. But I like to think it's helpful. Yes, this is a venting blog where I allow myself to be negative and complain about characters I don't like in a space I have created for me to do that in. This does not mean that I am not EVER positive about Star Wars, it doesn't even mean that I'm never positive about Star Wars ON THIS BLOG. It just means that this is a place that I am allowed to be salty in, it is a place where I put my most bitter thoughts and feelings and throw them into the void that is Tumblr just to get them out of me.

This is MY safe space, MY little fandom haven. Nobody asked you to be here, so if it doesn't feel safe or even just entertaining for you, you're more than welcome to leave and go find somewhere else you like better or create your own little fandom space where you can create the kind of things YOU want to see. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

I genuinely don't care if you like Chris or not. He's a fictional character, so you don't even need a reason to dislike him. It's your right to hate him if you want. But nitpicking a six-year-old's every move to justify your hate for him isn't it. And also, don't try to dismiss his abuse because "it doesn't make sense." It's wrong to do that. You should probably consider joining Tim Drake's fandom because this is the same thing they do to Damian.

It's obvious the reason you don't like Chris is because you like Jon. But maybe don't go on Chris' tag, a tag used by his fans, and say how you don't believe anyone cares about him. The tag you should've used is "Anti Chris Kent." You wouldn't like it if someone said, "I don't understand how anyone can like Jay Nakamura" and tagged the post "Jay Nakamura." (And no, I don't hate Jay. He is a cool dude. It's just an example.)

As for your arguments:

You don't need your hand held through the whole story to understand why Chris acts the way he does. He's an abused kid who latches onto the first adult who shows him kindness. It's not a headcanon, it's shown in the story. They don't need to spell it all out for us to understand;

Seriously, nitpicking a child saying he is hungry? Really?;

In the story after the one with Tim, Chris is shown to be scared Clark is going to abandon him. It's why he acts like a picture-perfect kid. At the end of the story, Clark reassures him he would never because they are a family now;

Even post age-up, Chris is still Clois' kid. That's how adopting a kid works. Lois is a recurring character in his portion of New Krypton. Chris has something the twins don't—a relationship with Lois. Unfortunately, PKJ never bothered to give Lois any scenes with the twins. Not that he had the page space to;

Almost every argument you gave as to why you don't like Chris can be used for Jon. He was tortured for years by an evil version of his dad and came back normal. He even ate an apple and isn't hungry Clois kids something you dislike? Jon shows no signs of PTSD, no nothing. So clearly, a character showing no signs of previous abuse (even though there isn't a right way to be an abuse survivor) is a problem to you only when you already don't like the character;

Don't try and dismiss Chris' abuse because "it doesn't make sense" for Zod and Ursa to do that. They are monsters and what Chris went trough sucks;

At the end of the day, unlike the Batfam, Clark and Lois' kids don't get enough time and space to develop properly, so there's a lot more that could be done with them. This applies to Chris, Jon, and the twins. There are things I didn't like about how they handled Chris' character (mainly his New Krypton arc), and there are things I didn't like about how they handled Jon and the twins. None of them are perfect or have had their full potential utilized.

Like I said, like what you will. Don't care. Just don't go on characters' tags and say you don't understand how anyone could like them. I ain't coming back to argue more, this is my last anon. Peace.

You're right I should have used the anti tag. You know, I outlined about 5 times, that I am NOT talking about the character. I had also said "hey, this is all entirely on ME, I am not convinced by this storytelling". I had not mentioned Jon extensively(three or four lines iirc) & stuck mainly to the super twins. I had constantly said "Geoff John's fucked up writing this story". You are the one who kept sending me asks, I gave you an explanation. I had repeatedly said "I see why people enjoy the themes attempted at being explained by Chris Kent but the execution was not compelling to me "

I will not be treating a fictional character, ultimately vehicle for storytelling and conveying themes, like an actual human. The Zod-Ursa thing, let me illustrate; Brainiac is an absolutely evil villain but he wont be calling any potential child of his a "little shit" or resorting base verbal abuse because despite this being legitimate child abuse behaviour, because for Brainiac-the-character, its OOC. He'd call any child of his inferior and dismiss any concerns or questions the child has, he won't be using his own hands, he'd be using his tech, he'd not raise his voice. And if he did, I'd ask why because this isnt in line with previous behaviour. I'd say the same for nice character as well, Clark's kindness is different to Bruce's because their backgrounds dictate the way they act. Clark is going to take a kid he rescued to park & talk to him lots and initiate jokes to calm them. Bruce is going to give a kid he rescued candies, speak to them calmly and have a more settled tone focused on helping this kid process the experience. Character motivation and MO.

I am not going to feel bad about asking a fictional character to be written with more coherence. I'm not nitpicking. That was an entire page with a giant establishing shot out of about 20 pages. I'm not nitpicking an actual 6 year old, I'm questioning GJ and the artist's choices in depicting that entire interaction so strangely. This entire medium is visual storytelling, and im going to ask for better. Chris in that issue was apparently so insecure and afraid he was....lifting shit up and smiling the entire time, cool as a cucumber. The tone was WILD. Pardon me for critiquing a creative move.

Okay, I'll take it seriously. Jon ate an apple, Jon actually on his return from torture volcano time specifically, pointedly, ate a LOT. Because we see via art on previous pages that Ultraman was barely feeding him and when he did, it was a LIVE PIG. Jon's hungry because of the torture. Even a detail you think is innocuous had previous establishing moment. Jon still eats and eats a LOT, because he was starved. Abuse impacting behaviour! And Jon does show symptoms of PTSD throughout SOKE & AOSJK & every subsequent run he's been in.

It manifests as his insecurities about his powers, and his apprehension around Clark! Jon's been told by Ultraman and many others that he is a tool, an object for people to do whatever they want with. He is also been a rather mercurial and too-powerful tool who on-page has been manipulated for his powers specifically time and time again(even in the recent arc). So how does Jon deal with his trauma? By controlling his powers and making them as fine-tuned as possible. Jon DOES exhibit signs, and it makes sense for his character. His entire deal is being a good Superman, and to do that he neglects anything bad that happens to himself and keeps suppressing, this plays a role in his coming out too (illustrated in SOKE #5 and in Dark Crisis). So no, Jon eating an apple & exhibiting signs of PTSD in a covert manner....is intentional and entirely present & you'd have to read subtext. This is where the writing leaves stuff for readers to pick stuff up from the background and won't handhold me through, which you have entirely forgotten despite how obvious it is.

I literally led you through why, from an objective standpoint, PKJ is a better storyteller, but you keep making this into a conversation about the characters and act like I have kicked an actual breathing 6 year old and made him cry. I read the Tim issue, I further read to the issue where Chris Kent finally expressed an actual emotion that made sense for his character and it took.....let's see....about 10 issues from his moment of existence? And it was done by a different writer! Busiek is good at writing Chris & I'm sure if they continued writing him, or started by writing him, they'd have done a better job with everything. The whole abandonment and adoption theme actually exists as a thing under Busiek in Superman.

I don't care about Chris. It's not a "ahaha I'm evil I hate this abused child" thing. I don't care about Tim, Damian or a million other characters with similarly tragic backstories which probably got handled well. I personally, am not compelled by him and in year 2020-2024 when I jumped into comics, I have more options of super kids to enjoy.

You dont need to make me imagine a scenario where people say Jay or Jon sucks and they arent compelling because half of Jay & Jon's tags are a billion times worse than the two lines I said, often with people tagging on "Chris was better" accompanied by sprinkles of biphobia, homophobia and a dash of racism against Jay. I didnt even say "Chris Kent bad". You are also free to think Jon and Jay dont compel you. If you make such a post, I will block you and delete any ask outlining that, because I don't care to subject myself to that. I'd also probably make a meta post on my own blog about jon and jay. I said I dont think Chris Kent fans exist because at this point in time, the Chris Kent iteration is completely gone from any ongoing storylines and I just didnt think people would be dead-set on a writing decision made over a decade ago. That'd be like saying "hey I miss robin version of Jason Todd, he should come back" at least in my perspective, but I am clearly wrong.

You could've just directly initially informed me to put in the anti tag, you are right in asking for that and I am sorry I didnt do that. I assumed you wanted a conversation with me since this is my blog, my platform & I'm too detached to Chris & the Super twins so I can talk in terms of writing rather than "this character is precious blorbo". I had only read on the Geoff John's Action run and the writing and art was so bad and that's all literally anyone in the chris kent tag even talks about. I get that you're defensive about chris, but you're barking up the wrong tree on speaking of his good traits because I just, I really dont care. Not dislike. I'm utterly indifferent to him as a character. The fan reaction from that side to Jon is what prompted me to make the initial post.

If you are still reading for some reason, go forth, have fun making Chris headcanons, live your best life. I still am not compelled and am confused why people are this hung up on him.

sorry this is unprompted but it’s bothering me a lot—I love Eddie very much, but he pisses me off because it’s like he was written specifically to knock billy down a peg and make people hate him. aggravating (for different reasons but still), long curly haired metalheads from broken homes with few friends who both die to be “heroes” bc that’s all they were written for. but Billy’s actually fleshed out because Dacre fucking cares about him and relates to him on a level that none of us will ever know, and it was important to him to make it vehemently clear that Billy is not a villain for villain’s sake; he’s a deeply hurt and traumatized kid. people seemed to understand that better before s4 when Eddie came into the picture and is “better” because he’s personable. but he also lives with someone who actually loves him and treats him well. his trauma doesn’t follow him like Billy’s does. I hate that I can’t just like Eddie for Eddie, I have to also hate Billy and reprimand every little thing he’s ever done. I’m tired of feeling like I have to walk on eggshells looking through either of their tags; I can’t fucking filter everything to avoid indirects about either of them or their sub-fandoms. at this point it just feels intentional from the writers that Eddie is supposed to be Billy 2.0 because they wanted to write a better victim, not just that the fandom is perceiving him as one.

and I’m irked because I’m not, nor have I ever been, ashamed or embarrassed to love Billy, but now I am both about liking Eddie bc I feel like I have to make it clear that Billy was my #1 long before Eddie came into the picture. I don’t want antis to think I’m one of them if I fail to mention Billy in a post that’s not about him. not to mention the loud loud handful of jq’s fans that are unhealthily obsessed and make Eddie look even worse to outsiders. Eddie doesn’t even represent the whole “freak” thing at all anymore, he’s just a tool to prove that Billy is irredeemable which is a wild disservice to both characters and Dacre especially.

I think Eddie would have a lot of potential if he were written from good hands with good intentions instead of an addendum to Billy once they killed him off, and Billy deserves better from everybody—characters and showrunners alike

I strongly believe that The Duffers introduced Eddie for the wrong reasons - mainly to make money off of the fans and boost interest without having to keep him on the show. I don't like their intentions with the character, and I think a lot of Billy fans feel that the way people treat Eddie as a fandom darling and position him as a better version of Billy is annoying and shallow and hypocritical. So, that's where a lot of the dislike comes from. I, too, don't like a lot of mainstream Eddie fandom because they are rude and annoying and want to be catered to.

There's an Eddie who exists in my head who could exist in the show based on canon things he has said and done, and I like that Eddie better honestly flaws and all. I don't go looking for Eddie content because a lot of it is made by people I do not like. However, you should not have to put on a performance for any fan to prove you're a good fan. Just enjoy what you like, and ignore all the rest. Too many fans are afraid of liking Billy which is ridiculous, because the accusations people make against Billy fans are baseless... and if you like Eddie in Billy spaces, then so be it. There are people who might not like Eddie but you don't have to appeal to their likes or dislikes. You're your own person.

I'm fucking tired man and am not here for hate

I can dislike something someone has done or said

But still fundamentally they're important to me

And more importantly they're important to Jared

I'm not here to fight his battles

I'll certainly defend when I can but he and Jensen's friendship is their business

Some people have been in too deep and this is a reality check that nobody and no relationship is perfect

But they clearly have something special and are bonded for life

You're not a better person if you're hateful to Jensen nor if all you do is defend Jared constantly

I think some people clearly love drama and tbh it's really immature

None of us are in this friendship all we can do is support and love the people we do

NOBODY IS PERFECT and everyone makes mistakes

I'm not thrilled about this but I'm so done at seeing shitty stuff on my dash from people who clearly couldn't wait for another chance to drag Jensen

Some things are just not that deep people and imo this has been blown out of all proportion

Saw a really good post (I can't find it now) about all the bullshit surrounding Jensen and the prequel drama basically fans taking a measured and supportive response to it instead of blindly hating and turning Jensen into some sort of supervillain. Jared would be proud and not of those who spend all their time smashing Jensen down (or anyone tbh) and pretending they're better fans of Jared for it. He would be appalled at the way some people talk about Jensen and hating him certainly doesn't make you a better fan in fact it makes you worse because it goes against everything Jared has taught me. They are grown men they have dealt with this grow the fuck up

I didn't get the post from you, I got it from a mutual/someone I follow that had replugged it. So sadly your tagging system did not reach me.

Second of all, I never said that they *had* to feel sad about a dragon being killed, I just said that they thought it was a bad omen because they've been conditioned for generation to be so.

Third, applying real-world situations to a fantasy show, and especially using an area part of which is currently undergoing a very real genocide endorsed by America as your anti-mythical-creature example, really does not sit well with me. But I recognise that's subjective.

It's not a genius PR move when those godly beings are also the source of YOUR power. You're effectively telling them that they can very easily kill YOU. Unless Criston is secretly a smallfolk rebel whose aim is for the people to take the targs down, but to my knowledge that's... really not the case. He wanted to serve his side, but instead showed everyone that his side can be killed, then his side proceeded to shut the people in and out of KL, forbade them from leaving or seeking refuge, and essentially forced them into free labour. I really don't understand how any of that is good PR for TG (which are just as Bad Targ as TB, by the way, so I don't exactly understand how you're claiming to be "anti targ and anti dragon" while also stanning the side with the literal WORST WMD, Vhagar, but that's your prerogative and honestly I'm not here to police what you do, go ham).

Also I never said the people's notion that dragons can be killed is objectively terrible. It is terrible if your side has dragons and you're trying to make the people like you, though. That's literally it. Just because I personally love the dragons doesn't mean I don't think the targs (both TB and TG) have been oppressing the people.

I agree that the show is fucking up both TG and TB if I'm honest. They've character assassinated Daemon, Alicent, Aegon (the r*pe thing??? literally no purpose other than to make the fans dislike him), and I'd argue even Aemond and Rhaenyra. That doesn't change that what Criston Cole did hurt his side. And that I also personally found very distasteful because I happen to like dragons as a creature and the bond between dragon and rider Makes Me Feel Things. If you somehow think that me liking this fictional high fantasy element and disliking what happened to Meleys, also means I'd like to see people bombed irl... that'd a you problem.

Sorry. I don’t care what anyone says anymore. The processions through Kings Landing of Jaehaerys and Meleys, showing them to the smallfolk is actually a genius tactical move.

Aside from just gathering sympathy the dichotomy of those two processions send such a clear and powerful message.

With Jaehaerys they show “Behold the power of team black. They killed an innocent and defenseless child. They are cowards. They are cruel. Look at their brutality and weakness.”

With Meleys they show “Behold the power of team green. We’ve killed a mighty dragon in a glorious battle. We are courageous. We are strong. Look at our victory and strength.”

I just love it. The way these two scenes juxtaposed are meant to show the two sides. To show the “victory” of team black compared to the “victory” of team green. To compare the murder of a child to the murder of a dragon to show your might. 10/10 manipulation. I love team green and their pr team

Look I love Lucas but..people are allowed to dislike Lucas, like Billy, dislike Billy, like Lucas or freakin like and dislike both! Wtf I hate when antis act like they're the content police. Let ppl enjoy media however they want, thanks.

I've never said people can't like or dislike any character they want including Billy.

My issue with the hate for Billy is a couple of things:

That hate far too often spills over to real people and isn't even just stuff like, "I hate you if you like Billy/or ship Harringrove" (which is still problematic). More often than not when it's targeted at us Billy fans the hate is clear cut harassment, "If you're a fan of Billy you should just die." Worse there have been many times when this harassment isn't just on someone's personal blog and in the tags but people are also sending it through messages, leaving vile comments, reblogging and sometimes out right reposting(stealing) our posts to hate on them. There's a lot of people in the Stranger Things fandom who think because they dislike Billy and because they see him as racist that it makes okay for them to bully people who like him. None of this behavior is excusable.

My other issue is that the way a lot of people talk about Billy is above and beyond just disliking this character. I've seen many people in the Stranger Things fandom laugh about and celebrate his death and say he deserved so much worse. I've seen people say he should have gotten hit more from his father and maybe he wouldn't be how he was. This fandom talks about Billy as if he is the worst villain on the show, the only villain. As if he is comparable to Vecna and or like he was going around killing people (when he wasn't possessed by the MindFlayer). As if Billy killed Lucas or something. People talk about someone who literally just turned 18 in season 3 like his whole life was a waste with no regard at all for how that kind of language affects real life abuse victims. I get it that some people see Billy as racist and that's a major reason why they don't like him but in my opinion there's racist tones to Jason (not mention he almost killed Lucas with a gun) and most of fandom doesn't even care about him some even defend him. I've even seen people defend Henry Creel. My point is that when I've spoken about the Billy hate this isn't me saying you're not allowed to hate Billy but I honestly think that Billy and his fans have become the fandom scapegoat. It's literally become part of the way the Stranger Things fandom operates to an extent, hating on Billy and his fans has become like a thing people collectively do in this fandom and it's really toxic.

But Mal is not a MoC in the books, and there are several critical rants about him and why people dislike him, I don't know if you read them or want to. If it seems like shit on your ship I apologize, it's because often Malina stans have been asses to all the other stans (Darklina, Genyalina, Nikolina, etc) for pointing out Mal's faults, or being outright condescending to others, when the showrunners and the producers+

The post you're reffering to was already more of a follow up on a post I'd made before the show aired about how I mostly liked Mal/Malina not based on promo material, but out of spite over how overblown the anti-Mal stuff was

Sorry if I've given off the impression that this has anything to do with me liking Malina, because it doesn't at all. I watched a season of a tv show and enjoyed the main ship, I'm not even like in the fandom. My annoyance comes from the fact that in the weeks leading up to this show I couldn't go more than a few hours online without seeing some Darklina* stan frothing at the mouth over something Mal related

And I'm sure there are nasty Mal stans out there too, especially now that the show has made him more popular. But for me as an outside person, I've never had a single issue with them. Unless you count treating shadow man as the villain as a bad thing, but??? I kinda feel like if a character is written as the antagonist in the text it's okay to treat him as such? But I've never seen them come after Nikolai or Genya, and every Malina stan I follow seems to multiship Genyalina. Doesn't mean the hate isn't there but it's not so in my face as the anti-Mal stuff(which I have also never seen coming from Nikolina or Genyalina stans. I didn't just wake up one morning and randomly decide to hate shadow man's fanbase ok it was directly caused by behavior I kept seeing over and over)

You also haven't really given me any sources on the stuff you mentioned, so while I'm not saying it's not true, I also can't really take it to heart. Though, I will say that the author drawing from her own experiences to write Alina's story =/= Darkling being based on her abuser. Those are two seperate things

As for the thing about LB mocking the fans in her books, maybe ask yourself how extreme a fanbase has to be to make an author wanna do something like that. It's also okay for a her to write about her own character without pandering to his fans. It's her creation after all

Regardless, none of that warrants the amount of hate I've seen sent her way either. But I'm going to assume you didn't mean to imply those reasons made that kind of behavior ok

Some anon sent me some angry asks recently on the recurring (and at this point, quite frankly, tiresome) topic of Bradley James being a terrible human being, which I disagree with. This is a sentiment that certain Twitter users (some of whom also declare themselves as Colin fans) express vocally and one or two of them drop by my Tumblr anonymously every so often to yell about it in my inbox. I assume they are the same people (or more likely, the same person, if we’re honest) because they always repeat the same talking points. If I understood the previous anon correctly, they were referring to those incidents and being sympathetic, along with the added commentary on the anti!Brolin ask.

With all that said, I am very unhappy with the shorthand here on Tumblr that refers to a handful of hate-tweeters as “Colin twt” 🤨 I too am a Colin fan on Twitter (albeit a not very active one), I follow the same Colin fans there that I follow here and all of them are absolutely lovely people. Admittedly, I am not on Twitter very often, but I never run into any hate and drama unless I deliberately go looking for it (and I usually only do so when somebody shows up in my inbox to yell at me about it). A few weeks ago, I got a somewhat disturbing ask where somebody told me how they no longer like Colin because they now associate him with some loud Twitter bullies, which I feel is an unhealthy attitude to have, so let me summarize: 

1. I find the idea that you can’t be a Colin fan if you don’t hate Bradley and are also a Bradley fan absolutely ludicrous. 

2. I think that hating on Colin just because somebody out there who likes Colin also hates Bradley and sends him hate tweets is a very unhealthy attitude to have and that it will eventually lead you down the same path as the previous group. 

3. I think that you are allowed to dislike anyone for any reason (Bradley, Colin, whoever), your feelings are valid and you don’t have to justify your reasons to anyone. However, hate-tweeting at a celebrity and sending anon hate to people who don’t share your opinions is just wrong and vile and anyone who is doing this needs to sit down and take a long, hard look at their behaviour. This also goes for sharing hate and slander on a public platform, even if you do not tweet it directly at the person in question. 

4. As a principle, I am against fandom wars, anti!campaigns, calling people disgusting for the kind of fiction they write and enjoy and general nastiness directed at actual people. Ship and let ship and don’t involve actors in the fandom, unless they come into our space of their own accord! 

With all that said, anon, I don’t know who you are and which group of people you belong to, but feel free to unfollow if any of the above bothers you! I feel like I am generally a friendly and reasonable person, but all of the above is just common sense as far as I am concerned! Let’s all just be nice and tolerant of each other! 💙

The only baby he interacted with throughout the whole show was Adora - and he saved her for no reason, she was a useless baby to him. Shadow Weaver was the one who saw utility in Adora

Those are your head canons and you are entitled to them but if you want to argue about stuff in the show then use scenes from the show in your arguments otherwise please go away, I really don't care about fandom purity and cartoon activism when I'm trying to enjoy my escapism.

You are not the only autistic person in the fandom and your opinion is just that: yours. Everyone else is entitled to theirs including Other autistic fans which happen to like the thing that you hate.

I'm autistic and guess what I love them. I think they are sweet and that it's amazing to see an autistic woman forming an attachment to someone and it's not being played off as a joke - Which is usually what happens in media.

It's touching that he genuinely cares about her when no one else in the show seems to and no one else in the show has ever put her in her interests to the forefront. Entrapta was recruited to make weapons for the alliance, Catra manipulated her into staying in the horde, Scorpia didn't come to her defense when Catra sent her to her death, Glimmer didn't want to rescue her right away, Bow did only because they needed her expertise, Mermista and Perfuma were angry with her because of her supposed betrayal but they never bothered to actually talk to her and see things from her point of view or learn what happened - they just assumed.

You're free to dislike his character or the ship, I really don't care but if you're going to make a point about it and about why we are all assholes for bothering you with our liking a character on our side of the fandom then at least use the actual shit he did against him. Make your arguments with logic and proof - screencaps. I'm tired of emotional responses and Big Words (That are used in the wrong context mind you, or terribly misused) being thrown around then people attacking Us- the fans for being immoral, ableist or whatever else you come up with.

Either way you can block the tag and not have to see any of us enjoying our thing in peace.

It really boggles the mind why people that hate this ship insist on bothering the rest of us especially when they use arguments that are blatantly untrue within the show.
