i know that no one like,, actively gives a shit about this but it's important to me for people to know so im going to speak my truth

i have like 5?? wips at the moment. two of these i am actively working on while the other three are just sort of microwaving around in my google docs/mind. i will get to them later.

i also have a life outside of this blog, obviously. because of this, i write when i can, but i do also leave some free time for myself where i can just sit, stare at a screen, and not think while watching my show

i am still crazy obsessed with dps. it's like a hyperfixation that is poking the back of my mind constantly. there is not a single day that goes by where i don't think about it. i am excited for fall to start...starting so i can rewatch the movie and get another wave of excitability about dps.

the only way that i can engage with this hyperfixation are reading fics (which there aren't too many of), and writing my own. writing my own is slow going because of the events in my life.

i just needed to say that i know im not posting nearly as often as i used to. but that's because i am working on bigger projects in my free time, amidst balancing personal stuff, not because my interest in dps is gone.

You know, during the 6-8 weeks that I fully stepped away from tumblr, it was in large part made possible by the fact that my personal life has been an on fire dumpster wafting down a stream of sewage (no I will not be elaborating publicly) to the point where I have been utterly incapable of engaging with anything else.

But one very pale upside to this is that, for those 6 - 8 weeks, I was so caught up in my own personal bullshit that I lived in a world where violent antisemitism on the left, violent transphobia on the right, horrific war updates, and the upcoming terrors of the US election and its potential societal fallout didn't exist to me.

And in particular, I was blissfully unaware of any unhinged things the tumblr red-brown alliance goon squad were saying about Jews.

On the one hand, I'm glad my real life has stabilized (a bit. for now.)

On the other hand, coming back to this site for even just a couple days has felt like

heres what my main rules would look like:

If you don't already have an 3d then don't join looking to get one. This isnt a place to get/start an ed but a place for people who already have it to talk. No coaches. This is for safety. Its okay to motivate people but no ana coaches as they are always no good. No fatphobia. I understand that fatphobia is woven into the fabric of 3ds but its still very harmful to decide that other people should change because of your opinions. This also means no f4tsp0, as it is inherently fatphobic. Keep your 3d to yourself, dont force it on anyone else. (this rule will be STRICT) Body checks are okay as long as they are in the dedicated channel and tw are put for si/sh. Also very little clothing is okay but no s3xualizing clothes or things that are meant to make you look s3xy. Also no br3ast or groin. Obviously. No substance talk. No no, nope. Talking about what meds you take is fine or whatever, but no promotion of alcohol, illegal dr-gs, vaping, grass or tobacco. Also no other forms of substance abuse, no matter how obscure. I am well versed enough to know the slick things and I know just how dangerous and horrible these kinds of things can get and while I can't stop you from doing it, I refuse to allow its influence to be spread. No homophobia, transphobia, ableism, racism, ect. I am also VERY well versed in minorities of all kinds and for these kinds of things its a one strike and you're out. If you say something and it comes off wrong then it will be a warning, but ignorance or hate will be immediately deleted. This would be a 17+ server strictly. oh, you're 16 and your birthday is in two months, nope. Got to wait. I wont ask for any personal info to prove age or anything of the sort, but If in some way I find out you are underage then you will be banned. NO CREEPS!!! I know redflags for gr00mers, and creeps. I will be on the look out. I have had other discord servers in the past where I had to put close friends on blast for creepy shit. I do not care if someone in the server is my best friend, if they are being a creep to you, you can tell me and I will take care of it. I wont shame you, or tell anyone who said something. I have been a victim too and had to go to court. I didn't get justice, I will not cause that kind of pain on even the smallest level to go without justice.

The last one is not even just for my discord server, but in general. If you are going through something my dms are open. Idc what the situation is, if you think you deserved it, if you are a boy, if they were a girl, if they were younger to you, if it was your partner. It doesnt matter to me. I'm here to listen, or to back you up if you want.

There would be other smaller rules, but these are the main ones. If theres some sort of issue with discord and why theres a reason people dont do this then also let me know pls. Also, if there are any other rules I should add, or questions put it in the notes or in my ask box and I'll answer!

Also, this would have a pretty thick authentication system. I hope I can figure it out. But I'm thinking some sort of level system where the more you are active the more access to the server you get. This will help with any raids or creeps. You would need to have quite a few days of talking in the main chat to get access to more and more channels. And the more sensitive ones (like body checking and vent) would be the kinds where you need to be talking daily for a week to get type thing. It sucks but I really need to weed out the minors, creeps, people who dont have 3ds and the like.

i've been thinking, and i think it's about time i take a tiny, teeny lil hiatus. just wanted to let you know i'll be gone for a lil while (hopefully a week+ depending on how it goes). this is NOT because of any of you - in fact i am going to miss you all dearly. just think i need a bit of a mental health reset luvs.

Good grammar, punctuation, 3rd person perspective, and somewhat consistent tense are very important to me, though if you slip up every so often, don’t worry, I won’t bite! I love to write A LOT (at least at the beginning), usually breaking discords message limit. However, quality over quantity is even more important, so don’t feel like you need to grind out 6 paragraphs if you don’t have the inspiration/material to work off of! I tend to shorten down to usually 2 paragraphs as the roleplay goes on, maybe even less depending on the scene, but sometimes i’ll go off on a tangent again. As said before, feel free to discuss with me! Communication is key.

Please no ocs! I ONLY do canon/canon, at least at first. Once I get to know you and get comfortable with your style, I usually become more open towards ocs, especially if we can make some together!

As for continuity, I mainly go for an ambiguous universe or an amalgamation of multiple. If we want a specific one to work with, I’m most familiar with IDW (disclaimer that I’m not the most knowledgeable out there), G1 universe and the aligned continuity. IDW would be my first pick though!

i haven't really done such posts on tumblr but i wanted to give it a try. i'm looking for people who can mirror my responses or are just good with lengthy replies. i dont have ocs prepared nor am i complicated at all, im just up for good rps and maybe meeting new people. but please also understand i have a life, i have people to attend to and a new job coming up. so I'll be busy but I'll still communicate things through. as well as the possibility of having multiple partners, so i hope whoever messages me respects that I'm a busy person but will communicate it nonetheless.

as for the writing style, i type in 3rd pov/person,, I'm good with details and such but i dont really do ocs but if you do, i can respect it and see where it leads. i also don't do "double roleplaying" as it gets confusing for me and I can't really commit to the plot entirely without feeling overwhelmed. so if we're doing a roleplay it'll most likely be just us creating the plot, the dynamic of our characters and so on.

i am just fine using any kpop group as long as the member used is not deceased or problematic. my favorite koop groups are: kiss of life, NCT as a whole (mainly 127 and dream), enhypen, zerobaseone, aespa, got7, monsta x, tbz (slightly as im still new to the group) and i dont mind using anyone or any pairing of the sort. I'm mostly experienced with bxg and bxb dynamics but i dont mind if you'd like to try other things out. i usually am the top-dominant person but i wouldn't mind trying other stuff as well! im open minded.

im asking abt modpack design. what makes a good modpack? Is that the same as a balanced modpack? how many way are there to work around mods not wanting to coexist & how much work usually goes into packs you make?

Ive slapped together a few packs for myself that took a few allnighters back when i wasnt sleeping anyway lol. then wanted to play with friends and had to slim it down to something all our pcs could handle.... fun times

oh boy here we go... What makes a good modpack is simply: Fun. Not every good modpack is balanced, and not every balanced modpack is good. Generally, the more balanced a modpack is, the better it is, but you can have crazy op superflyingdragonkilling ultra 9000 swords and still have lots of fun with them, as long as they aren't literally made out of dirt. An example I like to use when people ask "well how could an unbalanced modpack be fun?" is the Minecraft but X is OP! type datapacks that are pretty common in clickbait YouTube thumbnails. Those are really fun to mess around with! Balanced? Oh gods no. But sometimes how ludicrous it is can be the fun in and of itself. A balanced modpack is one where your power level as a player is roughly proportionate to how much time you invest into it. It's roughly self explanatory but can be a bit hard for me to put an example to with something in regular minecraft. Another, minor aspect of a good modpack imo is the environment and ambient atmosphere of everything. If you have a mod with mspaint sprites that are plastered everywhere, it's gonna ruin immersion and make the game less serious, which is a big component of keeping a modpack engaging and therefore fun. In terms of getting mods to work that just refuse to? For some performance related backend mods there are alternatives (LazyDFU and DataFixerSlayer, Rubidium/Sodium and Embeddium, etc.) that could solve issues, but more often that not, if it's a crash, you just gotta cope and take one of them out of the pack. If it's a not crash related issue, for example for balance or something related to, you can always remove the mobs / items / anything else that is causing issues with mods like Bad Mobs, You Shall Not Spawn, or Item Obliterator. I usually put 1-2 weeks of work into a good serious modpack, but I mostly make kitchen sinks, and the longest project I ever worked on personally took me around 2 months to fully complete and be ready. Custom textures, modifying datapacks, tweaking mods and finding new ones, all to create an intensely immsersive atmosphere for a roleplay server that never ended up going live. (yeouch) Slimming down modpacks is honestly tough, but I just like to focus on a direct theme or two. Earlier this week I had a pack with 218 mods that i slimmed down to just under 100 by cutting out chaff and really focusing on the 3 lines of progression the people wanted. First off, merry Christmas to all who celebrate lol

BKDK RP request!

So I’ve been wanting to get back into roleplaying for a while, but I’ve never actually gone out and looked for an rp partner in the wild. So… I’m just gonna make a post here and hope for the best.

My current hyperfixation has been mha, more specifically bakudeku so that’s what I’m looking for (I’m open to other ships but this is specifically for bkdk). I like doing AUs mostly but I’m also down for canon compliant/slightly canon divergent plots. I have a lot of different plots in my head but I’m open to plotting and discussing, one of my favorite things is worldbuilding and plotting for rps, I also like just talking about headcanons and such, I've been known to make moodboards and playlists for just about anything because I'm insane and when I get into something, I get obsessed. I would really love to find someone who can match that energy, join me, be insane with me.

But, I do have AUs that I usually go for, that I have a lot of ideas for, or I'm just really interested in:

Any fantasy au, I eat that shit UP

Hybrid au, especially with a lot of worldbuilding to how a hybrid society would function have I mentioned before that I love worldbuilding?

Spiderman au

Quirkless hero support Izuku au, a classic and one I have so many thoughts for.

Omegaverse, this... but less focused on the rut/heat thing and more the weird intricacies and the implications of the au.

Other than that here are some additional rules and requirements:

NO MINORS! I'm 19 and don't feel comfortable roleplaying with minors, even if there's nothing nsfw I'd just overall prefer it if you're 18+. That being said I'm not comfortable doing nsfw either, suggestive content is ok but nothing actually nsfw.

I write Deku mainly, I can write other characters for flavor, just so thing's don't feel too empty, but I'm looking for someone to who writes Bakugou specifically.

I write long winded, descriptive replies. My replies can range anywhere from 2 paragraphs (although I try not to do this so 2 paragraph replies aren't common) to well over the discord character limit (more common than I'd like to admit). I don't expect anyone to match me paragraph for paragraph, don't feel pressured to if you genuinely can't, but I'd like to find someone who can match that energy. I'd prefer anyone who does semi lit to advanced. In that same vein I'd like someone who can respond fairly often, but I understand that life happens so if you can't reply just lmk, take your time, this is a fun and casual rp request lol.

I'm audhd and dyslexic so sometimes I make a lot of mistakes or I miss things, just give me a gentle reminder if that happens or I take something out of context because of that. Please also use tone indicators when talking ooc.

I write in third person exclusively, first and second person makes me uncomfortable, so I would prefer to rp with people who also write in third person.

If I do or say anything that makes you uncomfortable please let me know right away! On top of that if you have any triggers that I should know about please lmk, I don't want to make anyone feel bad. And ofc I'll do the same ^^
