Hahaha okay rant about this amazing fanfic (you probably heard of this one already but still)

So whenever it comes to explaining and writing under my posts I just get lazy but I need to push through this cuz I need to talk

So the fanarts were made for the lmk fanfiction sunbreak, that a lot of you (probably mostly shadowpeach shippers) had read, and it is amazing, I read trough it as fast as my brain let me and as you can see it has pleasantly scratched my brain so much so that I even (attempted) to make fanart for it

Ngl if I wasn't a major pussy I would try to illustrate the whole thing or make covers for each chapter but Im unable to work on something more than 2 hours and I would want those to look good, but good looking art (if I don't mess up) takes 6 hours ughh--- annoying much---

Anyways I'm not good with literature but man is this fix a masterpiece *chefs kiss* its everything its amazing, I was unable to put it down once I started it

Okay i dont think I have the brain capacity to explain how much I worship the writer of this masterpiece @ladygreenfrisbee , so i'm just going to talk about the drawings a tad

So first picture with Red Son and MK its sort of like an au in the fic where the whole lbd plot is somehow nonexistent and after Macaque gets to his sisters domain they settle down and raise the kids together without much of an issue aside from assassinations keep happening and trying not to get in trouble with the heavens

Id like to think that Gongzhu still wouldn't let the court tailors to put any form of red or gold on MKs outfits and only allowed the yellow after when MK was old enough to declare that yellow was his favorite color, but even now she would insist on some form of purple and shadow motives to let others know who the mother is

We also got baby MK and toddler Red Son and sassy LIF and Mac

Third pic with the lion: I don't know what it was or why but I just love general Song so much--- he's a major dickhead but sgvshshsevkdididhr (actually I kinda love all the original characters in this one, from the generals to the old lady in the beginning of the book, (gosh I also wanna draw some scenes from those chapters I loved how Mac and she interacted hshsjsj))

so chapter 34 was probably my favorite so far I re read it about two more times cuz it was amazing to see Macaque being the schemer he is and try to piss of Song lol

Last picture: its a sketch/a wip or whatever (probably not going to finish it but im still putting it there cuz its somewhat decent looking)

Its the part where Wukong remembered of Macaque finally finding him and asking for him to come back to flower fruit mountain.

I tried to make Macaque look more unhinged on this one but since I didn't finish it I dont think its that noticable so fuck that but I also gave him a halo like the saints to symbolise his suffering and what not (thought it looked cool and fitting think whatever you want about it lol)

I saw a post by @bellenotthebeast about the hate drivers are getting at the moment and this is a written version of what I put in the tags of my reblog because I didn't realise I was going to go on a rant when I tapped on the reblog button.

All of the hate that drivers get for making mistakes is getting absolutely out of hand. It's frankly ridiculous how many people will jump at the chance to nitpick and be rude about another driver and whatever mistake they made minor or not. (This is specifically in relation to comments taken severly out of a very important bit of context and actual driving moments, if there is something serious then yes I think they should be held accountable for their actions, just because they're rich and in a very elite sport should not make them immune from accountability even though it does appear to sometimes.)

The stuff with Lando is actually sickening with how far its gotten. None of them should have to see that. In fact, no one, f1 driver or not, should ever see or hear such horrible things that people are saying to or about them. The death threats???? Hello??? What the actual fuck were people thinking. The drivers are people too the fans of those drivers are people. Get a grip and don't fucking send death threats???? Is that really that hard to have basic human respect for other people???

I see hate so much. Be it in the comments of an edit on tiktok or on a fan page on Instagram. Even the drivers own comment section and the official F1 account. People. What the fuck. Be supportive of people, for goodness sake. Don't be dicks??? Is it so difficult to be nice to people? I can tell that, unfortunately, I'm going to be using that phrase a lot.

I want to see the positives in this sport too. I think with all of the hate, all the good things have been buried under the swathes of hate and pain ignorance in some cases. I want to read or watch a video on how driver A did something so well, even if it's small and insignificant in the overall. I really want to hear about the amazing defending, even if they did get overtaken eventually. I want to hear about them being so fucking happy with their Quali position. I want to hear them screaming down the radio when they get in the points. I want to hear the feedback on the drive, where things may have gone wrong, and even where people think things could have improved. I want to hear about the track and the conditions and how well everyone did and how the people and the fans and their teams are so proud of their achievements during the weekend.

The thing I do not want to see is - ew i hate driver B. EEK no driver C ruined everything. Driver D should crash into the barriers. DO YOU NOT REMEMBER WHEN THERE WERE COMMENTS HOPING DRIVERS WOULD DIE IN A CRASH. What the fuck is wrong with the people saying that???? That is NOT okay. EVER. Have you not seen how outraged Max Fewtrell was when someone said that they hoped Max V crashed and got hurt in his twitch chat room. He was furious. Saying how that wasn't okay and how fucked up it was to say something like that. Listen to Max for fucks sake please.

WE👏 DONT 👏KNOW 👏THEM👏.

They're public figures, and we only know the public side of them, not the side they reserve for behind closed doors. And for the fifth hundred time, we aren't entitled to know anything about them behind closed doors either. We dont have any ground to stand on to demand anything like that. Because who the fuck do you think you are to demand something like that. Seriously, some people need to understand that this ISN'T okay and the way these people are acting will NEVER be okay.

I get it, really. It's frustrating MCs who have no control, but it's a journey MC won't be like that for the entire book! 😒 my main issue with books like that is only that for most of them, MC has no ally's, and some writers are like heavy on the MC abuse. I can think of two books off the top of my head i dipped out of because 6 chapters in and everyone is still horrible to MC including the ROs and MC is just a fucking doormat being ridiculed and punched down. In those instances, i don't blame the writers if thats the direction they want to go, but it makes me very uncomfortable, especially with immersion.

This, however, isn't that. IT'S NOT EVEN REALLY OUT YET. Anon wrote this to a writer with another blog where MC is going through some deep shit but not once have i felt that uncomfortable feeling because MC has hope and people that love them and i enjoy reading about their growth and pain.

About language brainrot. Imagine writer creator reader who finally learns how to write in Teyvat's weird symbols and they want to publish their book. They decided to do it anonymously to avoid the "aaaaaah our creator wrote the holy scripture" sort of situation. Except it didn't work. The reader's style is too different from the rest of the world, so even if they tried to simulate the flowery speech it wasn't effective.

Another thing. Reader who decided to read some local books to practice their reading. They asked for something simple and similar to their speech. But the only books merely similar to it are 2000 and more years old. It's funny how the older text is the more you can understand it. On this note. If reader write something i feel like it would be hard to understand for Teyvat's people.

Imagine a reader who is autistic or has any other NDs imparing their communication skills. They practically trained themselves to say sertain phrases in sertain situation. But it doesn't work in Teyvat. And everything just stacks at each other. Difference in speech, being a God (so people react weirdly to you), bad communication skills, not understanding nonverbal cues and so on. There's gonna be a lot of misunderstanding. I imagine how followers would walk on the eggshells not to upset and angry their God and reader who does the same not to say something people will get wrong. Again.

Reader who regained all their memories of creating Teyvat, they're super powerful and stuff. But they still struggle with the modern language. Because all the memories are like millions years old.

i was just re-reading your ACOTAR rant and it made me weep because it sums up all of my thoughts about the series and how tamlin continues to be disregarded and vilified for literally every single thing. i walked into the series already knowing rhys was endgame for feyre and that’s fine, but the minute i started ACOMAF i literally was like… what is happening here and why does everyone on instagram (i wasnt active on tumblr and mainly saw acotar stuff on instagram) hate tamlin so much. then i finished acomaf, acowar, and completed the series and i’m still so… confused?

all this to say, i’ve always been a tamlin girlie since the first book and i always will be. I’m genuinely scared abt what will happen in the next book whether tamlin will get redeemed (and he literally did redeem himself already in my opinion, esp. after acowar) in a horrible way or if he gets killed of. a part of me selfishly wants him to stay alive because thats my baby but also… idk how i feel about sjm’s plans if she does write a “redemption arc” for him.

When I started Acotar I had already spoiled the entire series for myself. You could ask me any question about it, down to mfing details and I would’ve been able to answer correctly. Before ever even touching the book!

I think knowing whats gonna happen lets you honestly look deeper into the characters and relationships cause its no longer a surprise but an inevitable.

Makes it a lot easier to see how fucked up F*ysand really is. Tamlin didn’t deserve any of the villainisation he went through. Acomaf was completely out of a character. Which is another reason I think people go so quickly to Rhysand and refuse to see his red flags as well. Because Tamlin was shamed for having any sort of imperfection, the reader is shamed for ever having liked him and it is a really shitty feeling.

So people overturn it with becoming hardcore Rhysand stans.

Just a theory but it would explain this kind of cultish following his has that is targeting Tamlin.

My biggest headcanon for her is that Melissa (TGWDLM, Hey Melissa) is her cousin. She’s not a serial killer but she does have a little bit of a screw-loose like her. She also loves cats (and as opposed to being all serial-killer-y about people being animals, she’s really just into petplay-)

That connection being established, I think her family is rich! In Miss Holloween (a couple scenes were read in one of the fundraising livestreams for Cinderella’s Castle), it’s established that Stacy goes to college at Vassar in New York and that is not easy to get into and not cheap, so they’ve gotta have a bit of dough ykwim??? And in Hey Melissa, it’s stated Melissa flew all her friends in, and paying for 3 peoples’ airline tickets can’t be cheap. So……… They’re well-off.

ANOTHER STARKID MUSICAL. this one is just…… soooo good and funny and also . tragic. one of the characters reminds me a lot of toji :’3 former veteran w a dead wife…. who struggles to show his son how much he cares…… and the theme of capitalism and money and how it corrupts ppl also feels in line w toji’s character!! but above all else this musical is abt. Family. and that’s more toji than anything!!! :((( this is another musical that i rlly recommend checking out, it’s set in the same universe as the guy who didn’t like musicals but like . an alternate timeline. it’s not my favorite in the series but the songs slap and it made me cry so <3333 yeah.

CC Character Rant

(I just started reading CC3 but this anger at this character started in CC2. I just read chapter 1 of CC3. I have kept myself mostly spoiler free for the over arching plot but for this character I hate my friend tried to help me understand her better and gave me some spoilers but yeah those spoilers did not help one bit. If anything I got even angrier which is why I had type this out and see if there are any other Lidia Cervos Haters out there.)

I HATE LIDIA!!!!! Like with all my being. With a passion. With anger I have never felt towards any character ever. I HATE THIS CHARACTER.

I hate the idea that I need to read this book and have SJM and fucken Lidia and any other bleeding heart character in CC who forgives her, GASLIGHT me into thinking she is some victim. She is a MURDERER. Her reason for being a double agent who murders her secret allies for the enemy are stupid and flawed and not worth the innocent lives she has MURDERED.

She is not a victim, she is the abuser. And her excuse for doing what she does is stupid. She had some accidental babies which she kept secret from EVERYONE and hid away. No one knows about them and then she joins the asteri and becomes their death warden all to protect them. From WHO?!?!?! NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT THEM!!!!! YOU HID THEM!!!! YOU GAVE THEM UP YOU STUPID BITCH!!!! You cannot use them as an excuse for you murdering people to keep them safe. THEY ARE SAFE DUMBASS. Just stay away from them, they obviously don’t need you as their mother. They are better off without you in their lives.

And I am suppose to read this book and then feel sad for her FUCK NO!!!!!! She is in the dungeons order ruhns torture all while she is gonna be pleading in his mind to “please talk to me I feel sad for hurting you and your family and i need you to forgive me and tell me it’s ok I murder innocent people daily.” And the worst part is sweet kind Ruhn will finally give in and talk to her all while having his skin peeled off and tell her “it’s ok your just doing what you have to” because that stupid fucken mate bond of theirs is gonna make him do it.

If SJM ever wants to do a rejected mate bond plot it should be for Ruhn and Lidia. This bitch deserves no happiness for the rest of her life. She should live in an isolated cottage in the woods somewhere where none of her victims or their families have to see her walking in the street with a smile on her face, like everything is normal. She has a metal bar for a jacket collar because of how many people she has killed. Every single one of her victims or victims families have every right to hate her and not be lectured on forgiveness being the greatest form of healing. FUCK NO!!!! SOMETIMES FOR A TRULY EVIL PERSON THEY DESERVE TO BE HATED!!!! She is the worst character I have ever come across.

And I love CC. I want to finish this book for Bryce and Hunt and for Tharion and Ithan. And originally I wanted to see Ruhn happy but I gave up that hope. But this bitch makes me so fuming mad when she appears on the page that I am actually contemplating if I should just DNF it.

Killers soul seems to be a liability esp considering monsters giving birth would be LARGELY tied into souls and or magic

Depending on the kingdoms views, dream might be bad bloodline wise as well because of how they were overpowered and ridiculed, making them appear weak….i also could see them no appreciating mixing Royal blood (especially weaker systems with bad rep) which is kind of STATED??? Like that is part of why they don’t have MARRIAGES with other kingdoms with rivaling bloodlines ig complicated things seemingly

Then prefering someone that doesn’t steal the thunder from THEIR bloodline is so interesting

Horror WOULD have been best but he physically can’t *cries* SOMEHOW dust fits the criteria best…..not only that but he’s already got insane magic and is unatrually strong…with no overly important bloodline to mess with reputation….i keep imagining little dust having kids with cross and both their huge pools of magic just making the kid a fucking POWERHOUSE. It feels like almost a twist candidate for child rearing💀 I absolutely am in love with the idea

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU HAVE PLANNED AND I HOPE YOU DONT MIND MY LITTLE RANT and like no expectation of you to answer it but 😆I can’t get it off my mind and want to share with someone BSISBDIDJ I love your series so much and re read chapters an embarassing amount (reading the newest chapter has just fueled the fire man I cannot they are so sweet)
