Yandere Neighbour - Noncon
With your electricity out and your devices dead, you have no choice but to turn to your neighbour for help. He's more than willing to welcome you into his home. Really, you're lucky he's such a nice guy.

Living in the middle of nowhere had its perks. Privacy. Untouched nature. Peace and quiet.
But after the third day with no electricity, those perks were starting to look pretty damn weak. Your fridge was sitting in an ever expanding puddle. Almost all your devices were dead. And if you had to take one more cold shower you were going to cry.
It was when you were digging through your drawer looking for desperately needed batteries that you found your neighbour's number. He'd offered it to you a little while after you moved in, and while you two were on friendly terms, you'd never actually spoken for longer than a few minutes. You sighed, looked at the 10% left on your phone and decided that desperate times called for desperate measures.
You: hey, it's me. I still haven't got any power. Do you mind if I come over to charge some stuff?
He replied almost instantly.
Unknown: aww that sucks
Unknown: come on over. I've got hot stew and a generator
Unknown: and you can take a hot shower too if you want
Score. And to think you found him intimidating at first. Just goes to show that you can't judge on appearances. You packed a change of clothes, your devices and the last tub of ice cream that wasn't totally melted. You'd find some way to properly pay him back but a tub of chocolate fudge double cream wasn't a bad way to start.
He was waiting on his porch when you pulled up. A bear of a man in a flannel and blue jeans, a five o' clock shadow darkening his jaw.
"Howdy neighbour," he drawled, opening your door for you while you grabbed your stuff. "Regretting leaving the city yet?"
You huffed a laugh. "You do NOT want to know the answer to that."
His cabin was much larger than yours, a two storey behemoth with wide windows and exposed beams. It had a rustic charm - like some natural park Air BnB where they charged a weeks pay for just one night. A little too big for just one man. Didn't he get lonely?
"I brought some ice cream and chocolate to say thank you. And also because it miiight have been melting."
He opened the door for you and ushered you through with a hand on your lower back.
"Hell, I'll never say no to something sweet."
There was a fire burning in the fireplace and a stack of logs in a crate next to it. He was so much better suited to this life than you were. He locked the door behind you and slipped the keys into his pocket.
"Old habit," he explained with an easy grin.
"Why don't you get settled? I'll plug your stuff in."
You handed over your tech with a relieved sigh.
"Thank you. Really. I'm so behind on work already and I haven't heard anything back from the power company."
"I wouldn't hold my breath," he said. "Once ended up going a week straight with not even a light bulb flickering."
You winced. "It gets that bad?"
"Yep. Especially in winter. Gets dangerous then too."
He tilted his head at you, concerned. "You need to get yourself better sorted before it starts snowing. I hate to think of you stuck out there when the blizzards start rolling in."
God, could you be any more of a city slicker? You rubbed your neck, embarrassed.
"Thanks. I've been here a few months now and I guess I just didn't realise how serious things can get."
"It's all good. But if I'm honest, I get worried thinking about you out there all alone. Plenty of drifters end up passing through. Not a good place to be alone, not for a little thing like yourself."
Little? You wanted to feel indignant, but looking at his bulk, you reckoned that most folk probably seemed little to him.
He lead you to the fireplace and poured you a mug of coffee from the pot that was waiting for you. He jerked his head at the hunting rifle on display above the mantle.
"I can teach you to shoot, if you've got some free time."
You took a sip of the coffee, internally debating with yourself. You could see the sense in your offer but you weren't a big fan of guns. Hell, just being around them was nerve wrecking enough. Maybe -
You looked down at your mug in surprise.
"This is some really good stuff."
The coffee was strong, bitter in the best sort of way. You could catch a hint of chocolate in it too. Just sweet enough to make your toes curl.
" 'Course. Only the best for my guest. Help yourself to another cup. I'll just put your stuff on charge and be right back."
You finished your drink in a few sips and happily poured a second serving. Hot coffee... man, you didn't think three days without it would be so tough. Usually, you were pretty sensitive to caffeine. But by the time your neighbour came back, your head was tilted back and you were half asleep.
You tried to shake yourself out of it but he just laughed and pushed you back down.
"You probably haven't had a good sleep since the power went out. Just rest. We can talk once you wake up."
"I'm sorry..."
"It's fine." His hand was still on your shoulder, thumb rubbing small circles into your neck. "It's just fine with me."
You drifted off after that. Into a deep sleep without any dreams. Waking up was like slogging through molasses.
"Finally up sleepy head?"
It was dark outside and your neighbour was on one knee in front of the fire place, coaxing fresh wood to catch.
You sat up slowly. Your muscles ached and there was a strange, salty taste on your tongue.
"My heads killing me..."
He stood, poker still in his hand. "You must be starving then. I've already got some food on the stove. You'll feel better after you eat."
You didn't feel hungry at all. If anything, you felt almost hangover.
"Thanks," you managed. "I'm sorry to be such a bother."
He waved you away. "I don't mind a bit."
He came back with a bowl of steaming hot chow and stood with his arms crossed on the back of your couch while you ate.
"It's real late. I reckon you should stay over. I don't want you driving on dirt when it's so dark."
"Oh, it's fine. I've already put you out so much."
"Don't be silly. I insist."
You shivered without meaning to. That almost growl, low and bordering on menacing. It was so familiar, so...
"Just like that. Look at you, half asleep and still desperate for my cock."
"You like the taste? Yeah, I bet you fucking do."
"Ain't just gonna use your mouth next time."
You squeezed your eyes shut. Where the hell was this coming from? Were you remembering some sick dream from this afternoon?
"You okay there neighbour?"
You nodded. "Just my head."
Maybe he was right. Driving when you were so disorientated was just asking for trouble.
"If you really don't mind... I'll be happy to sleep over."
He laughed, a deep, rumbling thing. "I'll make the guest room up special, just for you."
"Could I use your shower too?"
"I offered didn't I? Come on, I'll show you where it is."
He took you to the master bedroom and jerked his thumb at the en-suite.
"Hot water is the most reliable in there. Door doesn't close that well though, so don't mind it. I'll be downstairs when you're done."
You brushed your teeth carefully. You lips felt sore, bruised in a way you couldn't explain.
You waited until you heard his footsteps going down the stairs before you stripped off your clothes. You stood under the hot water for a good few minutes, luxuriating in the feeling. The bathroom was thick with steam when you finally got to scrubbing yourself. The door was open just a crack and the bedroom beyond was dark. You forgot all about it until you heard the creak of the hinges.
You whirled to face the door, your hands coming up to cover yourself. The steam was too thick to see through. You called his name.
Nothing.
You stepped out with suds still on your thighs and pushed the door open. The room beyond was empty.
You sighed. God, you were being paranoid. Your neighbour was a great guy. It was unfair of you to treat him like a peeping tom when he'd gone out of his way to make you comfortable. It must have been just an errant draught.
You stepped back into the shower and rinsed yourself off. But no matter what you told yourself, you still kept an eye on the door.
When you went to change into your fresh clothes, you spent at least five minutes hunting for your underwear. Did you drop it somewhere? Oh, please say your undies weren't just sitting in the middle of his hallway. That would be beyond embarrassing.
Eventually you gave up and just decided to go without them. Not comfortable at all but still better than walking around in a towel to look for them. And much better than calling your neighbour in to help. Wouldn't that be fun? 'Hey neighbour that I don't know that well, you haven't seen my intimates lying around, have you?'Â Yeah, you'd never again get invited over after something like that.
When you were dressed, you found him already on his way up the hall. He was carrying a glass of water and some pills.
"Thought you might still have a headache, so I brought you some painkillers."
You paused, nervous but not sure why.
"Thanks." His hands dwarfed yours when he handed them over. You didn't recognise the name of on the pills, but they looked harmless. You tossed them back and gagged at the bitter aftertaste.
"They pack a punch, so tell me when you start to get drowsy."
"Aye aye captain."
You followed him to the guest room. It was at the very back on the second story, quieter than the rest of the house. A huge glass wall gave you a view of the forest disappearing into the darkness. You could see the ghost of your reflection in the glass, your neighbour a hulking, shapeless mass at your shoulder.
He took a seat in an armchair across form the bed and stretched out his legs. You perched on the edge of the mattress, still feeling a bit like an intruder.
"How long have you been staying out here?â you asked.
He smiled at you, teeth glinting almost wolf-like. "Got you curious?"
"A little. Folk in town say they hardly see you. I don't know... I'm just wondering if you ever get lonely."
He was quiet and you cursed yourself for being so nosy. You hurried to fill the silence.
"It's just that I get a bit lonely out here too. 'Specially when it's so quiet. And I guess I was wondering if it's the same for you."
He smiled at you, rueful. "At times. Used to be worse, but I've got a new interest to keep me occupied nowadays."
"Oh yeah? What?"
"Bird watching."
"Really? What do you look for?"
The way the room was lit up, you couldn't see his eyes. They fell into shadow and you only had his lips to read his emotions by. He smirked, slow and almost mocking.
"Just one bird I look out for. Flighty little thing. Tends to get caught by predators a lot. Youâd probably recognise it."
The polite thing to do would be to ask what it was called. You didn't. Some part of whispered that you wouldn't like the answer.
You must have been quiet a little too long because he took it as his cue to leave. He stood, a mountain of muscle, his eyes not quite as nice as they seemed that afternoon. A trick of the light, surely. He wouldn't hurt a fly.
"You rest up. Got a busy day tomorrow."
"G'night."
He was gone before you thought to ask what he meant. And you were passed out on your pillows before you realised it. He was right. The pills sure did pack one hell of a punch.

You were aware of a shadow at the end of your bed. You weren't fully awake, and your limbs were slow and heavy with more than just sleep.
"Who..."
The shadow reached down and one warm paw circled your ankle.
"Just me little bird."
You knew that voice. It was the voice that brought you warm food and invited you in from the cold. You could trust it. Could go back to sleep and not worry about anything.
'No,' some part of you hissed, 'He's not as safe as you think.'
"Cold..."
The shadow laughed and it was the laugh of the fox finding the rabbit's den. Nasty. Hungry.
"Cold huh? Don't worry baby. I'll warm you right up."
He yanked your ankle towards him and your whole body slid down the bed. You were too drowsy to stop it.
"Knew you were gonna be mine the second I saw you," he cooed, hands running up your thighs.
His fingers slipped under your waistband, nails scraping your hip bones.
"Dumb little thing from the city. Doesn't even realise I've tripped all their breakers. That's why you don't have power baby. It's all me."
His fingers were as big as the rest of him. Thick, meaty. Skin rough from working outdoors. You whined when his fingertips scraped the edges of your hole.
"No underwear. You needy slut. That's practically a written and signed invitation to fuck you."
He pulled your pants down to your ankles and pushed your knees up to your stomach. And you were too out of it to stop him. Limp and pliable as a fuck doll.
Your tight ass was exposed to the cold air, entirely at the mercy of whatever he wanted to do.
"Cute." He circled his thumb around the rim, almost pushing in but not quite. "Wanted to be in this ass since you first showed up at my door all those months ago. Lookin' up at me all sweet. Fuck, it's enough to drive a man to desperation."
He lowered his head and you could feel his warm breath washing over your thighs.
He dragged his tongue across your hole. Some part of you must have been more awake than the rest, because your whole body jerked away from him.
"None of that," he cooed, hands digging into your thighs and dragging you back. "I haven't even gotten started yet."
He licked you again, deeper this time. The flexed tip of his tongue pushing at your entrance, and to your dull horror, actually slipping in. He moaned and you could feel the vibrations all through your crotch.
He pulled out and spat, rubbed it in with his fingers. One of them pushed in until the second joint, curling into your walls so rough that you gasped.
"Please..."
"Please what?" he mocked. "Please fuck my tight little ass? Please cum inside me? Use your words little bird."
"Please...stop..."
That made him laugh again, made him shove his finger in all the way to the knuckle. Twisting so cruelly as he pulled out and jerked back in.
"Stop? Stop? After all the work it took to get you here? No way baby. I'm not slowing down and I'm sure as fuck not stopping."
You heard the sound of his belt unbuckling, followed by a sharp intake of breath when he nudged his leaking head against your hole.
"Youâre not going to remember this. And I'm not going to leave any evidence."
He pushed your legs tighter against your chest.
"So as much as I want to fuck you rotten, you're gonna have to be happy with just the tip."
He'd done a good job loosening and lubing you, but it still burned like a hot poker when he forced his way in. He groaned, almost in pain.
"You're fucking choking me. God, do you want my cum so bad?"
You could feel when the tip was in. That tiny difference in thickness between his head and shaft was oh so noticeable when your ass was clenching and fluttering around it. It was the smallest mercy, but mercy nonetheless.
He was panting from the effort of getting it in, the effort of holding back. The size difference between you almost perverse. Like a draft stallion trying to mount a pony. In every way, he was just too fucking big.
He spat in his hand and brought it to his cock, ran his palm up and down his shaft with sickly wet strokes. The combination of his palm and your squeezing ass was fucking delicious.
He had great stamina but fuck if it didn't feel like you were milking him.
He let go long enough to smack your ass. It almost finished him. You clenched around him so hard it felt like his tip was getting fucking crushed.
"Shiiiit, you're the best hole I've ever had. Can't wait 'til I can go all the way."
You whined, pitiful as snared prey. There were words there, though they were too slurred to make out. Something about Daddy and please and stop. He ignored you.
He pushed in a little deeper and watched your face scrunching up. So helpless, so fucking caught. That was what did it. The knowledge that he could do this to you at any point and you'd be helpless to stop it.
He came inside you, snarling through clenched teeth, his fingers digging into your thigh hard enough to bruise. You'd notice the marks in the morning and chalk it up to just being clumsy. But he'd know. He'd see the bruises peeking out from the hem of your shorts and his cock would twitch just a little at the memory of leaving them.
His cock pulsed. Shot strings of spunk deep inside you. You could feel it. Hot, too hot. Gross. Make it stop. Get it out.
He pulled out with a wet pop. His cum drooled down and he took a minute to work it back into you with his finger. Your hole was gaping just a little and it made his balls pulse. If he had the time...
"A real fucking mess. And on my good sheets too. You're a terrible guest."
He mopped up whatever cum remained with a balled up piece of martial that he pulled from his pocket. Even in you stupor, you recognised it as your missing underwear.
"Terrible guest, but the perks of having you around are pretty fucking sweet."
He dropped your knees back to the mattress, pulled your pants back into place and roughly yanked the duvet over you. He grabbed your jaw and smiled at the lost, drowsy look in your half open eyes.
"Got a big day tomorrow. Gonna wake up and find your whole house was flooded. Ruined. Gonna have nowhere to stay but with me."
He sounded smug. It made your guts twist.
Outside, the night grew quiet. A predator was hunting and most prey knew better than to catch its attention.
"I made sure of it. All your family and friends in the city are away from home. There's no one around to help you out..."
He tightened his grip just enough to watch the fear start dancing in your eyes.
"No one...except me."
He let you go and smiled that same warm, comforting smile from that afternoon.
"Dumb little thing. Got no clue how your water mains work, do you? Got no idea how easy they are to sabotage."
He tutted. "Got me so damn busy. I'm gonna have to run to your place, fuck shit up and be back here before you wake up for real."
He traced his index finger over your lips and left behind a sticky coating of spunk. You'd wake up tasting salt again, with no memory of why.
"But it's fine. I forgive you. After today we'll have plenty of time together. Rest of our lives in fact. So just sleep tight and forget what you think you've dreamed."
There are perks to living in the middle nowhere. Privacy. Untouched nature. Peace and quiet.
There are perks, but unfortunately for you, your neighbour isn't one of them.

@steddiebingo prompts: lecture + skull rock | 1.2k words | G/T |
Eddie closes his locker to find Nancy suddenly standing right beside him. âJesus!â he startles, hand pressed to his chest. He hadn't even heard her approach.
âSorry.â She has the decency to look apologetic. âI didn't mean to sneak up on you, I just wanted to talk to you for a sec. I hear you and Steve are...together?â She says it carefully, with the inflection of a question, and Eddie has a vague feeling like she's testing him but he has no idea what for.
âUm.â He doesn't know what the right answer is. âWell, I don't know exactly- I mean, kind of? It's not really anything, we've just...made out a couple times.â
Nancy raises her eyebrows. âYou just...made out a couple times,â she repeats.
Eddie shrugs, getting a little nervous that he's failing her test. He really cannot get a read on her right now. âYeah, um, I mean, it was probably just like a one time, two time thingâŚâ
A tiny scrunch flickers across her face and she mutters to herself, âGod, is that what I sounded like?â
âWhat?â
âNothing, sorry, I just got major deja vu.â She shakes her head and then looks back up at him with those big, serious eyes. âAnyways. Look, you might not think it's anything, but I know Steve and I guarantee you he already thinks you guys are something. So if you only wanted it to be just a one time, two time thing, then you better tell him quick before he gets too deeply attached. He falls fast and he falls hard, don't let him get too serious if you're not.â
She reminds him vaguely of a teacher lecturing some clueless kid, but Eddie feels less chastised and more like he's just been punched in the chest. âWait, you really think-?â
âHe wants something real, he always has,â Nancy continues, âand if you guys haven't talked about it, he's just going to assume that's what you are. He's a hopelessly hopeful romantic, Eddie, he can't help it. He's all in already, I'm sure, so if that's not what you wanted out of whatever you two have got going on, then don't waste his time - don't waste your time. Don't play along and break his heart if you already know you don't feel the same.â
âNo, I wouldn't-â Eddie finds himself at an uncharacteristic loss for words, can't do much more than give her a sort of deer-in-headlights stare.
âI'm not judging you,â she reassures him in a slightly softer tone now, clearly misinterpreting something in his expression. âI'm not upset with you. I'm just trying to give a little advice, from my own experience. Just make sure you two are on the same page, alright? That's all I'm saying. For both of your sakes.â
âRight- yeah, thanks,â he stammers. He points his thumb awkwardly over his shoulder. âI, uh, I gotta goâŚâ
He doesn't wait for a response before he turns and hurries down the hall to get outside. A deep breath of fresh air to shake off the weird suffocating feeling Nancy's lecture had given him, and then Eddie's heading straight for the nearest phone. He has to talk to Steve, has to see him.
âHey, Stevie,â he says the second the other line picks up. âI'm ditching class right now, wanna hang out?â
âYeah, of course,â Steve agrees immediately, a smile in his voice. âI can meet you at our usual spot in, like, 20 minutes?â
'Our usual spot', aka Skull Rock, the make-out spot--their spot now apparently since that's where it started, since that's where they've met the last three times they've hung out alone, the last three times they've kissed and kissed and not talked. But Eddie can't think of anywhere else to suggest, so he says, âYeah, sounds good. See you soon.â
He hangs up the phone and heads for Skull Rock.
A short drive and a longer hike and he's leaning against the side of that infamous skull-shaped boulder, watching the surrounding foliage for signs of Steve. He doesn't have to wait long before Steve steps out from the brush in all his gorgeous glory, face lit up in a beautiful smile just at the sight of Eddie.
âHi.â
âHi.â
Steve walks up to him and draws him straight into a kiss, because that's what they do here, at Skull Rock, the make-out spot, their spot. His lips are soft and warm and Eddie melts right into it, draping his arms over Steve's shoulders and kissing back before he remembers that he'd meant to use his mouth for talking instead.
âWait, Steve.â It takes all Eddieâs willpower to break the kiss and pull back enough to speak. âIs this real to you?â
âHmm, feels pretty real, but I donât know, I could be dreaming. I never can tell around you,â Steve flirts easily, voice a smooth murmur as he brushes some of Eddieâs hair out of his face, caressing his cheek. âMight need to pinch me just to be sure.â
âNo, I mean-â Eddie ducks out from between Steve and the rock, putting a little more space between them before he can give in to the ever-growing urge to give up on talking and go back to kissing. âUm, Nancy kind of ambushed me in the hall earlier, gave me this whole lecture about how you get attached really quick and how if I only wanted this to be something casual I should tell you fast before you get too serious, because she thinks you're probably already serious and that you want something real,â he provides context in an awkward, nervous rush, not even pausing for a breath, âand I just- I need to know, is that true?â
âOh.â The previous playful flirtatiousness drains from Steveâs expression and his face falls. âUm.â He shakes his head, more like he's trying to clear his thoughts than anything. âShit- Iâm sorry if she freaked you out. She had absolutely no right to try to speak for me like that. I mean, I really am fine if you just want this to be casual...â
âI don't, I just thought that's what you wanted,â Eddie says. He hasn't been explaining this right. âBecause that's all we've been doing - we come here and we make out and thatâs it, casual, so this whole time I just assumed that's all it was to you. But then Nancy said all that stuff about you and it gave me this hope I hadn't let myself have before, so can you please just tell me if she was right?â He looks at Steve, eyes big and earnest. âBecause I really, really want her to be right.â
Steve just stares at him for a moment, then softens with a sigh. âYeah,â he admits, a tentative smile tugging at his lips, âshe was right. I definitely don't just feel casual about you - it's real; I want real.â
Eddieâs face bursts into a grin. He throws his arms around Steve and pulls him into another kiss. âThen letâs get out of this casual fucking place.â He takes Steve by the hand and starts dragging him away from Skull Rock. âCome on, let me buy you some lunch.â

The apartment listing had sounded too good to be true.
"A modern two-bedroom in a great neighborhood! Affordable rent! Recently renovated!"
You had jumped on it. Places like this didnât stay on the market long, and after what felt like a lifetime of apartment hunting, you were ready to sign a lease and never look at another rental website again.
So, you scheduled a tour, packed a mental list of negotiating tactics, and prayed to whatever higher power existed that this would finally be the one.
Across the city, Oscar Piastri was doing the exact same thing.
Unlike you, he hadnât even bothered looking at multiple listings. He had sent his assistant a simple message: Find me an apartment. Quiet, good location, no crazy landlords. He wasnât picky, he just needed a place to live between races. Simple.
At least, thatâs what he thought.
One Hour Later â At the Apartment
The moment you walked into the leasing office, you knew something was off.
For one, the landlord, a middle-aged man named Greg who looked permanently stressed, was nervously shuffling through papers like he had forgotten how to read.
For two, there was already another person standing there, signing a stack of documents like he had just secured the place.
You blinked. âUh, what is happening?â
Greg looked up, his face immediately twisting into an expression that screamed oh no.
The guy next to you, a very casually dressed guy in a McLaren hoodie and cap, barely glanced up. âIâm signing my lease,â he said simply, like this was his apartment and you were the intruder.
You frowned. âNo, Iâm signing my lease.â
Greg audibly gulped.
McLaren Hoodie Guy finally looked at you properly, his eyebrows pulling together. âThat canât be right.â
You turned to Greg, arms crossed. âOkay, Greg, whatâs going on?â
Greg inhaled sharply through his nose. âSo, funny story..."
You knew it was not going to be a funny story.
â...there was a bit of a mix-up, and it looks like I⌠um⌠may have accidentally leased the same apartment to both of you?â
Silence.
You blinked. "What?"
McLaren Guy squinted at Greg. âYou may have?â
Greg winced. âOkay, did. I did lease it to both of you. But in my defense, I didnât realize it until just now, and I already spent your security deposits, so I really canât refund you until next month.â
Your jaw dropped. âYou already spent...!?!? Are you kidding me?â
McLaren Guy let out a long breath, pinching the bridge of his nose. âSo what are you saying? That neither of us can live here?â
Greg let out a nervous chuckle. âWell⌠I could cancel the lease for one of you, butâŚâ He glanced between you two. âDo either of you have another place lined up?â
You exhaled, crossing your arms. âNo.â
McLaren Guy sighed. âNo.â
Gregâs face paled. âRight.â He rubbed his hands together, clearly dying inside. âSo, um⌠what if you two just⌠shared it?â
You and McLaren Guy turned to each other at the exact same time, both shaking your heads.
"Absolutely not."
"Not happening."
Greg held up his hands. âOkay, okay! Just hear me out.â
You shot him a look. âYou literally just admitted to scamming us.â
âI didnât scam youâ"
McLaren Guy scoffed. âYou spent our deposits.â
âOkay, I accidentally scammed you.â Greg sighed, running a hand over his face. âLook, Iâll cut the rent in half if you both agree to stay. Just for the first few months, until I can sort this out.â
You turned back to McLaren Guy, fully expecting him to shut it down. Instead, he looked like he was considering it.
You frowned. âYou cannot be thinking about this.â
He shrugged. âDo you have another option?â
ââŚNo, but that doesnât mean I want to live with some randomâ" You gestured at him vaguely. ââMcLaren fanboy.â
McLaren Guyâs eyebrows shot up. âFanboy?â
âWell, yeah,â you said, motioning to his hoodie and cap. âYouâre decked out in McLaren gear. You look like youâre about to go meet Lando Norris.â
Greg made a strangled noise.
McLaren Guy just stared at you, something unreadable flickering across his face. His mouth opened for a second, then closed.
Then he exhaled, shaking his head. âYou know what? Fine. Letâs do it.â
Your stomach dropped. âWaitâwhat?â
He grabbed the lease papers, signing his name at the bottom with zero hesitation. âI donât have time to find a new place, and Iâm not about to couch-surf across Australia.â
You turned to Greg. âYou cannot expect me to live with a stranger.â
Greg gave you a deeply exhausted look. âI expected to lease this apartment to one person. Life is full of disappointments.â
McLaren Guy grinned. âYouâre lucky Iâm an excellent roommate.â
You let out a humorless laugh. âI highly doubt that.â
Two Days Later â Moving In
You were right.
Oscar Piastri was not an excellent roommate.
The first issue became apparent when you opened the fridge and found nothing inside except for a can of Monster Energy, a half-empty bottle of water, and two whole heads of lettuce.
You turned to him, arms crossed. "Do you⌠not eat real food?"
Oscar barely looked up from setting up his PlayStation. "I eat at the McLaren hospitality tent most of the time."
You squinted. "McLaren hospitalityâ" You let out an exasperated sigh. "Oh my god, youâre a team employee, arenât you?"
Oscar blinked at you. "Huh?"
"You work for McLaren," you said, pointing at his hoodie, the McLaren duffel bag by the door, the literal McLaren keychain hanging off his keys. "Thatâs why youâre obsessed with the team."
Oscar stared at you for a long moment. Then, very carefully, he said, "Yes. Thatâs exactly it."
"Called it," you muttered, going back to unpacking.
Oscar smirked to himself but said nothing.
The second issue? He was too quiet.
You were used to some kind of background noise. Either it was music, TV, literally anything, but Oscar? He just moved around the apartment in silence, which somehow made you more on edge.
Then, later that night, you really reached your breaking point.
You had been winding down, wrapped in a blanket on the couch, scrolling through your phone when you suddenly heard a deep sigh behind you.
You turned your head slightly, only to see Oscar staring at you from the other side of the couch, arms crossed, looking very unimpressed.
You blinked. "What?"
Oscar sighed again, slower this time, louder. "You chew really loud."
Your jaw dropped. "Excuse me?"
"Youâre, like, aggressively loud."
Your eyes narrowed. "I will throw this popcorn at you."
Oscar smirked. "You wouldnât dare."
Without hesitation, you grabbed a handful of popcorn and launched it at him.
Oscar gasped, dodging the attack. "Greg was right! This was a terrible idea!"
You grinned, grabbing another handful. "Welcome to hell, roomie."

self indulgent horny brainrot. i'm coping w period cramps and i need him terribly. minors dni or you will be blocked
dabi is unfairly quiet. silent. sneaky.
unfair that when he is home, he's the loudest motherfucker in existence. doors close so heavily, boots echo in the hallway⌠he's loud. he makes it known when he's home.
however, in the quiet of the night, somehow he was able to slip in undetected. he wasn't planning on sneaking in, hell there really was no reason for him to sneak in completely silent like he did.
but the scene playing out on top of your shared bed was enough for him to stay quiet.
here he was, thinking he'd come home from recon mission with the league, be able to curl up next to you and maybe watch a movie for the night. he was feeling lazy. order take-out and just veg for the night. apparently, you had other plans.
for some reason, keeping the bedroom door open. lying on top of the sheets, bare to world that in contained to the four walls of the room except for a ratty old t-shirt of his, and a toy between your thighs. if it weren't for the bedroom door being open, he'd assumed you couldn't wait for him to get back tonight and decided to get yourself off on your own.
no, apparently you wanted to give him a show.
and hell, he'll admit it was a show. the lewd way you'd grab at your tits underneath the fabric of his shirt, how your back would arch off of the bed-- the soft and breathless pants leaving those sweet lips of yours. he's almost upset that your eyes weren't open to catch how he paused in the doorway at the sight of you.
and now, he's too enraptured by the scene that he can't even bring attention to himself. he's crossed the threshold of the room, one hand in his pocket and the other covering his mouth ever so slightly. as if to muffle his breathing-- which definitely gets heavier when he hears his name drip off your tongue.
he has to bite down on his knuckle as he watches you. you know your body-- but dabi has some sort of sick satisfaction in the knowledge that he knows it even better than you do. he watches you as you move the toy around your swollen, puffy folds-- the toy glistens and drips from your arousal-- but you're clearly not hitting the right spots.
spots he knows he can reach. spots that he's memorized the location of. it's probably been so long that you've been on your own getting yourself off that you've probably forgotten those spots.
he can tell you're getting frustrated. little huffs and whines leave your lips every so often-- it causes a fire to start low in his gut. he's moving before he can even think, sliding inbetween your spread legs and dipping his head between your thighs almost immediately.
you jump almost six feet in the air at the contact, your hand almost dropping the toy and pushing at the warmth that suddenly appears between your legs. his lips barely graze along your folds as he speaks, "no, no-- keep going."
"when did you get home?" you question him, your voice breathless from the almost thirty minutes of struggling to get yourself off. "you didn't even make any noise--"
"i said keep going."
heat pools in your gut. a different kind of heat-- the kind only he can create. your imagination could only do so much, and hearing the real thing is always better.
your fingers shake as they curl around the toy again, sliding it along the opening of your cunt and dabi watches with hungry eyes. his hands are warm on your thighs, spreading you even further, leaving you so much more open than you were previously. you can feel his ragged breathing against your folds, hot and heavy.
he watches you tease yourself, slowly inserting and pleasuring-- but he can tell you're not as eager as you were before. almost like you were shy-- embarrassed or something. he barely hides the click of his tongue before his fingers wrap around yours and he begins to guide your movements.
you swallow hard, feeling that familiar burn in your tummy and the coil beginning to tighten. your head falls back against the sheets with a whimper of his name and dabi watches it all with lidded eyes.
"c'mon, pretty," he murmurs, low and rough. "like this, yeah?" he nudges the toy to a certain spot and your spine creates a delicious arch that he used to seeing. you try to pull your hand away from the toy, but he doesn't let you. his fingers tighten around yours so you can feel how you practically drip all over the toy and down both of your hands.
he practically coos as your thighs tremble-- a telltale sign that your orgasm is building. "that's my girl," he mumbles, his eyes locked onto your cunt as he watches the toy disappear into you with each stroke and movement. his free hand moves to your hip, blunt fingernails digging into the skin.
your hips roll and grind into the toy, finally able to let go of it so you can slide your fingers into the dark locks. your fingers curl around the strands and you tug, a gasp leaves your lips as the toy is quickly replaced by two slender fingers that curve immediately to the spot that has you seeing stars.
his tongue is warm and wet on your clit, circling in deliberate motions as his fingers pump in and out. you thighs are practically shaking around his head, your cries of his name are drowning out the lewd and wet noises that he's pulling from your cunt.
just when you're about to free fall over the edge, dabi's mouth connects with your clit, flicking his tongue over the sensitive nub and sucking hard.
you cum so hard you're pretty sure you're crying. panting and trembling, your hands are limp in his hair as you melt into the mattress, barely registering when dabi climbs up the bed to hover of you, his lips slick and smug. he waits for the haze to dissipate from your eyes before he props himself up above you, a hand next to your head and the other on your waist, his thumb stroking your trembling skin soothingly. "feel better?"
"i'm putting a bell on you."
dabi snorts, but he doesn't reply. instead, his head dips down and attaches to the skin of your throat, smirking when you gasp. yeah, like that will ever happen.

As an autistic person, did you struggle to make and keep friends? And have you found friends through the writing world? I ask because my mom always said i needed to find my people. I did finally find them (they are neurodiverse trans nerds, haha), but not until i was like 30. And i wonder if its true of other autistic people too. So i guess my question is: did you find your people, and when?
thank you this is good question. i have always had a LOT of CLOSE BUDS even from a very young age. i would actually say that i am unusually socially adept in my way and that it is partially BECAUSE of my autistic trot. LETS TALK ON THAT FOR A MOMENT
'BUT CHUCK YOU SAID YOU ARE ON THE SPECTRUM AND AUTISTIC BUCKAROOS CANNOT BE SOCIALLY ADEPT' some say. and sure it is UNUSUAL overall, technically speaking, but there is also an important reason we talk about this as a spectrum of buckaroos and not a monolith

when buckaroos ask me what it is like to be autistic i try to explain like this: there are certain cues and markers from the outside that serve as a sort of identification checklist but because of masking they are not always correct. instead i see it as question of WHAT IS IT LIKE INSIDE YOUR BRAIN?
internally my brain is different. its taking in way more information all the time, including the stuff that neurotypical buds block out, and that can become overwhelming. it is hard to navigate because i do not have that automatic neurotypical 'here is what is important here is what is not' function
so yes i can be easily distracted and zone out as i watch the patterns and fractals spin off. and yes i can miss certain things in social situations. in many autistic buckaroos this makes large groups overwhelming and the OUTPUT of behavior matches what we typically know as signs of autism
FOR ME however, same thing is going on inside, but i have managed to HARNESS that information. even from very young age i see that everyone is DOING THE HUMAN ACT but instead of rejecting that and shutting off i think 'well okay i am just going to do THIS because thats what they actually want'
in other words, most neurotypical buds say one thing that has a kind of spiraling social-cue-related OTHER MEETING (they do this ALL the time) and instead of rejecting that i have trained myself to be REALLY REALLY good at knowing the hidden meaning. it is EMPATHY but on a sort of LOGIC BASED level
and because i have always been pretty good at that, people like to trot around me and say 'wow this is a good friend they understand me'. now for ME that can be a little exhausting and there are things i need to do and stims and all that to release the effort, but overall it is worth it to me
OTHER THING is that i was a successful CREATOR AND ARTIST BUCKAROO from an early age which is socially seen as 'cool' especially when you are trotting around in your youth. it is not particularly FAIR but it is true that some level of fame makes buds treat you well even if you are 'weird'.
of course it can be a sort of FAKE 'treating you well' but as an autistic buckaroo it is still more of a chance than you might otherwise get. this timeline has sort of carved out a very special little sliver of social grace for the token odd artistic weirdo to have a seat at each cool kids table
ANYWAY that is the trot of my life. it is a unique trot that i dont get to talk on much but since you asked THERE YOU GO. every chance i get to say 'I LOVE BEING AUTISTIC' and talk on HOW MUCH IT HAS IMPROVED MY LIFE i try to take a moment and do that. when i was young i had few autistic heroes
and OF COURSE it can be difficult and overwhelming and we need to have space for those stories and voices, but i want young buckaroos who get this diagnosis to know there are ALL KINDS of stories and trots on the autism spectrum. MINE IS PRETTY DANG COOL and maybe yours will be too. LOVE IS REAL

Missing You !

ŕłââˇ: how the l&ds boys are when they miss you.
a/n: I want these men so bad it hurts. n e ways trying something different from smau đ¤ this is part one, will write the other boys later. Also pls send requests !!
content warning: the boys missing you to the point where it's a bit concerning. maybe ooc. Suggestive in Xavier's part towards the end. Did not proof read srryđ
ft: Zayne, Xavier x reader (separately)
pt. 1 , pt. 2

âË・âââ・Ëâ zayne (705 words)
the hospital holds an unnerving chill in the air. everyone can feel it; the staff, nurses, patients and the other doctors. and even though everyone could feel it, no one chose to acknowledge the source of this tension. because no one wants to disturb Dr. Zayne when he's in one of these moods.
It's another hard day for Zayne. The paperwork seemed endless, he's had to deal all sorts of patients, and he hasn't seen you in a week. You were out in a mission, nothing out of the normal for a hunter. But Zayne couldn't help but worry. He loves you, knows you're more than capable of handling yourself, but worrying about you comes as easy as breathing to him. It's second nature, an everyday thought.
Just as he starts to steady himself, the ink of his pen explodes on the report he was writing. He about ready to lose it, letting out a deep, heavy sigh. Zayne isn't usually this disoriented, and it's making him go mad.
Moving from his desk, Zayne paces around his office, opening your last message. it stresses him out that it was 2 days ago.
ms.hunter: ugh this mission is so dumb. smt happened and now it looks like ill be gone longer. im sorry babe :(((
He grips his phone a little harder. Paces the room with heavier steps. Breaths another sigh.
What is wrong with me?
A knock at his door disrupts his pacing.
"What?"
Zayne doesn't realize he said that with a bit too much bite, a bit too coldly. The door opens to reveal his new secretary, looking like a scared little lamb entering the lions den.
He looks at his secretaries face, realizing his harsh tone. Zayne murmurs a quick apology, asking his secretary if there was something needed.
"There's someone here to meet you, Dr. Zayne. Said they had an appointment?" The secretary trails their sentence like a question, knowing that Zayne shouldn't have any appointments today. Poor thing was shivering from the doctor's cold demeanor.
The veins on Zayne's head are almost visible now. On top of this day, an unscheduled appointment? Had it not been for his doctors oath to not harm, he would've denied this appointment.
Another sigh leaves him, as he tells his secretary to let the mystery appointment inside his office. Zayne makes his way back to his desk, head in hands trying to compose himself.
"You really shouldn't be sighing so heavily, Dr. Zayne. Heard it's bad for you"
Zayne's head whipped so fast towards the doorway, that you almost left bad for laughing at the action.
He blinks once, then another, before standing up and meeting you halfway across the room.
" 'm sorry for not texting you sooner, but I've been working twice as hard to get done with my mission-"
You don't get to finish your sentence before Zayne crashes his lips into yours. This kiss was desperate, filled with longing and want. It's almost startling, usually Zayne is more composed than his.
"would be more composed had you told me you'd be arriving back today" Zayne responds, perfectly reading your thoughts. Before you could say anything, he kisses you again. This time, he's softer, placing one hand on the small of your back and the other cradling your face.
You're the one to pull apart first, desperately needing air. Looks like your boyfriend missed you more than you realized. Oh, this was gonna be so fun.
Zayne scoffs, but he's still holding you close. "I do not scowl. It's just been a stressful week at the hospital."
You laugh at that. God, he missed your laugh. He missed you. He walks the both of you to his desk, where he sits you on his lap as he takes a seat.
"Did you miss me that much? It's only been a week."
"A week too long, my love"
While you and Zayne catch up, the rest of the hospital is glad that the chill in the air has died down. Looks like the staff knows who to call when their doctor is in that mood.
đŠâ§đŞ xavier (570 words)
there's only a few things that causes Xavier to wake up. Either you shaking him awake, peppering his face with kisses, or when you steal the blanket from him.
Actually, it's mostly you that causes him to wake up. And right now, the reason why sleep escapes him is because it seems like you escaped the bed at some point.
Xavier feels around your side of the bed, only to be met with emptiness. Confused, he wakes up, and looks around to see the room still in pitch darkness.
2:34 a.m. It's still horribly early, so you wouldn't have woken up for work. Plus, Xavier knows your schedule better than he knows his. He knows that you don't have any kind of missions to attend to right now.
So, where were you? A sudden rush of thoughts occur at once, and Xavier can't help but assume the worst scenarios. He jumps out of bed and checks around the apartment.
Bathroom? No. Living room? Empty. Kitchen? Quite. He's going a bit crazy, because where did you go?
He just about to rush outside when he hears the sound of keys opening the front door. Turning to the sound, he watches as the door opens to reveal you.
You, holding a bag from the nearby 24/7 convenience store. You walk in, not realizing that Xavier was watching as you enter the room.
You're holding your phone in your other hand, staring at it. It wasn't until you looked up that you noticed you were being watching by your boyfriend.
Your words don't make it to his ears. Rather, he answers you with a question of his own.
"Where were you?" His voice is deep, laced with a serious tone that doesn't quite suit him. Oh no, was he mad?
"I went out to buy ice cream. I couldn't sleep and wanted something sweet. I texted you where I was!" Defending yourself, showing Xavier the bag with a few ice cream bars.
Oh right, he never checked his phone. Xavier pulls his phone out of his pockets, and opens his notifications to see that you in fact did text him where you were.
"Oh."
You move to the kitchen, putting the ice cream away. "Yeah, oh is right. What, d'ya think I just left without saying a work ?" You only meant that jokingly, of course. Turning around, Xavier is right behind you, caging you between himself and the fridge.
It wasn't until you looked at his eyes when you realized that, oh, he was worried. The realization sets in, and you understand what just happened. Xavier had woken up, and genuinely thought you were done.
Your eyes soften as you look at him, moving your hands to his face "Oh, baby, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you like that." Xavier melts into your touch, and you both stay like this for a while.
You speak up first. "Why don't we go back to sleep?"
Xavier opens his eyes, looking down at you. "Actually, I'm not sleepy right now. I think I'm hungry."
"Do you want some of the ice cream I bought? I got your favorite flavor- Xav- Xavier why are we going to the bedroom?"
"I said I was hungry."
"Oh...?!"
Later that morning, you had to call into work "sick" for both you and Xavier.

Hi lovely, any chance you could do James x reader who is stressing over exam season?
Thanks for all the great work bb we appreciate it so much :)
Thank you angel, I love you <3
James Potter x fem!reader ⥠768 words
âHey, lovely girl.â James comes up behind your chair with an arm around your front and a kiss to your head, surreptitiously slipping away your coffee. âHowâs it going?âÂ
âItâs going fine,â you say. Itâs a lie, but you have larger concerns. Your boyfriend is acting suspicious. âWhat are you doing?âÂ
âJust checking in on you.âÂ
âNo, what are you doing with my drink?âÂ
âI was thinking we could make an exchange,â James says casually.Â
You sigh, both craving and resenting the break. âI need to focus. No side quests.âÂ
âThis isnât a side quest. Itâs aâŚa brief deviationââ
âThatâs another way to say side quest.âÂ
âYou didnât let me finish. A brief deviation which will ultimately result in you being more productive.âÂ
You pause. âOkayâŚâÂ
James stamps a happy kiss to your hair. âSo, first, I was thinking we could pick up some matcha or somethingââÂ
âJames,â you cut him off gently, âthatâs a sweet thought, but matcha doesnât have any caffeine in it.âÂ
âIâve heard that, yeah. Thatâs a key feature of the plan, as it happens.âÂ
âI feel like I sort of need caffeine for my studying, lovely.âÂ
James makes a wishy-washy humming sound. It buzzes against the top of your head where he rests his chin. âHave you noticed that youâre vibrating?â he asks.
âIâmâŚâ You take a quick stock of yourself. You feel exhausted, drained. Not vibratey. âNo, Iâm not.âÂ
âMhm. I can actually feel your heart beating against my arm right now.âÂ
Now that he says so, you can feel it too. âWell, Iâm nervous.â Your voice takes on an unintentional sharpness. âIâve got three exams this week, and I want to do well. I canât just check out.âÂ
James might have been anticipating youâd get prickly. He stays perfectly calm, only sweeping his thumb over your collarbone mollifyingly. You feel instantly ridiculous for your small breakage.
âI know, angel,â he says, in that everythingâs-just-fine voice of his. âI get that youâre stressed. And it sucks that it is so stressful, but Iâm not saying you should check out. I just want to make your studying go easier.âÂ
Youâre quiet, guilty and embarrassed for sniping at him when heâs so relentlessly kind to you. James never does anything but make things easier for you, even when heâs not trying to. He makes your life easier just by existing.Â
James lets go of you with the arm across your chest to squat by your chair, looking up into your face. He touches his thumb to the top of your cheekbone.Â
âYou look like your eyes hurt.âÂ
âThey do,â you admit.Â
He smiles ruefully. âCan I tell you the rest of the plan?âÂ
âYeah. Sorry.âÂ
âI was thinking weâd take our matchaâor uncaffeinated beverages of your choiceâand go to the park by Remusâ place. It has that little quiet area down the trail, remember? You could bring your books. Itâd still be studying, butâ âJames shrugs, looking at the bright light youâve positioned above your textbook, your grimy coffee mug, the chair youâve been sitting in since you got up this morningâ âthis isnât good for you. Maybe a change of scenery will help.âÂ
Now itâs you wanting a deviation. A side quest, an excuse to check out. You want to take Jamesâ face between your hands and spend the rest of the week ensuring no inch of it goes unkissed. Screw exams. When he looks at you like this, so wholesome and earnest and chock full of good intentions, you genuinely think you must be the luckiest girl in the world.Â
âThat sounds nice,â you say.Â
James grins, and god, his dimples dig in so deep you really could get lost in them if you let yourself. âYeah?âÂ
âYeah.â You give in slightly to indulgence, leaning down to press your lips to his cupidâs bow. Retracting before you forget about exams altogether. âThatâs a really lovely idea, Jamie. Thank you for thinking of it.âÂ
âWell, it wasnât hard,â he says breezily. âAll I had to do was think to myself, if I were wearing my eyes out being a swot all day, where would I rather be?âÂ
You smile. Jamesâ doubles in wattage because of it. âWell, you nailed it. That sounds perfect.âÂ
âPlans are my forte, lovely. Letâs see, maybe we try studying there until the sun starts to go down, and then you can call it quits for the evening.âÂ
âI thought we agreed on no checking out.âÂ
âBut what if I put cucumbers on your eyes? Thatâs not checking out, thatâs just rejuvenation.âÂ
âIâŚmight be slightly more amenable to that.â

Absolutely LOVING the use of Mabelâs slang and Fordâs slight hesitation but willingness to adapt because like. Those kids talked like old timers in the show (likely just from being around one for a while)
so you KNOW they came back when in high school with Dipper saying stuff like âIâm about to absolutely crash out on Robbie this time. MABELLL?? WHEREâS YOUR GRAPPLING HOOK-â
And Mabel saying stuff like
âSlay the house down mama!!â And âyou better WALK that DUCKâ and even Dipper is like,,
âSo from what I gather this is⌠a way of her saying essentially youâre doing really well and your outfit is so good it couldâŚkill her??? I think??â
And itâs also a lot of Ford finally caving and begging for a presentation from Dipper about their generationâs Slang. Mabel has to be Dipperâs project partner; while he initially didnât want to drag her into this, unfortunately he hit a wall in his research where he fully couldnât see the connection, and Mabel was completely overexcited to oblige.
First half of the presentation:
Very well put together slides, including graphics here and there introducing a timeline for when said slang started taking off, Dipperâs theories as to *why* certain slang rose more popularly/had longer âstaying powerâ, and even some older slang from Fordâs generation that roughly translates to something modern. âIâm gonna crash out on ___â roughly equals âyouâre cruising for a bruising, palâ
While the other half was essentially:
*disorganized bright colors and really hard to read print over graphics that donât really technically go with whatâs being talked about?? From what Ford can gather??*
The first presentation is an absolute disaster, but after finally setting aside their differences to create a better, much more comprehensive presentation, it ends up with Dipper learning a lot more lingo, too (for better or worse, you decide lmao), and having Mabel do more of the sort of explaining to Dipper (he did the graphics and visuals this time, it hurt his SOUL to see his sisterâs side of the presentation BDJSVDJ) and Mabel helped Dipper grapple with the connotations of lingo a little more. For some reason the worse it sounds it seems to mean?? Something better?? It confuses him just as much as it does Ford, and Ford really starts to see âtism signs in Dipper as he slowly realizes how much Dipper is just like him growing up (like. Dudeâs REALLY trying to understand âslayâ âyassâ âqueenâ and he gets that down and Mabelâs like âalright, beginner level over, now, what does, âslay the house down boots mama!â Mean?â
Even adding her extravagant gestures to the slang, which, to his credit, surprised Dipper because normally body language helps but like. Mabel body language and âwhat the cultureâs feelingâ arenât exactly the same thing. He couldnât, for the LIFE of him, figure out whether or not the gestures were actually includedâ as in, used by anyone other than just Mabelâ and he was in fact wrong because it turns out the gestures ARE important, but thereâs also varying LEVELS of importance.
Like the more emphasis (more âcartoonyâ/fluid/exaggerated the movement, the more the person REALLY fucking means it, no matter how little or how much emphasis they put into their voice (kinda going against his autismâs way of learning because like. Tones are?? So important I thought??? Why does this not apply here??)
Genuinely once theyâve presented all the information, and Ford gets a better idea of it, theyâre all ready to just end this information exchange,,, until Stan walks in and overhears Dipper say to Mabel, âI think we slayed this presentationâ
To which the twins simultaneously face palm as they realize they have to do the presentation again,
and Ford gets The BIGGEST grin, because, you see, Fordâs ability to process information is largely dependent on setting, generally, the mystery shack is⌠not a place heâs overjoyed about being at, but with others around it can sort of quell that sick feeling he gets and such.
So while he *mostly* understood the presentation, he didnât want to have the twins repeat themselves (especially after learning what âunc statusâ means) so when his brother, Stanley, has to endure the same chaos but WITHOUT the prior understanding Fordâs now working with, all he can do is pull the twins aside and whisper, âhow about we add something to your presentation, I think it might help Stanley understand this one term better-â
After a few slides where Stanley hardly seems to be paying any attention, Mabel clears her throat, Dipper stifling his laughter as Mabel announces loud and clear that a ânew termâ âjust droppedâ. She points the clicker super professionally, and as the slides turn, itâs the most abhorrent neon slide to ever disgrace the earth. Glitter. Fairies. Graphics that actually DO work this time though, she made sure to give more accurate visuals.
Introducing: GRUNK STATUS!
âItâs like Unc status but even more archaic!â Mabel enthusiastically declares.
Dipper is giggling so hard heâs having a full out asthma attack on the floor, and Ford finally canât contain his laughter either. Mabel starts to laugh along and Stanley looks absolutely miserable for a moment.
âAw, câmon theyâre just kids,â Ford laughs.
âYou put them up to this. I donât know how to prove it but I KNOW you did this. That stupid fucking Pun has YOUR NAME written ALL OVER IT-â
*cough/mumbles something about it being Stanleyâs name, legally, last he checked which IMMEDIATELY Started a fight, until Mabel slams her fist down.*
âAhem. Gentlemen. The presentation isnât OVER. Sheesh, talk about Crashing out,â Mabel says, SO calmly that both grunkles sink back in their seats a bit like kids in trouble for causing a ruckus at school. (Mabel and Dipper do a lil thumbs up bc hey, that was a great way to give an example of a Term, Mabel! Good job!)
âOhh⌠I get it, Crashing Out means youâre cruising for a bruising!â Stanley declares (sort of under his breath). To which Ford replies, voice equally lowered, âwasnât that a few slides back? They already said that,â as if he hadnât had the EXACT same epiphany earlier on, and was merely able to contain it before sounding âeven more uncâ (he tries, but the grammar with the slang is slightly off sometimes).
This essentially causes another argument.
This third run of their presentation took them 2 hours to get through due to Stanley and Stanfordâs arguing.
Their first two runs with only Ford took maybe 45 minutes max (not including their needing to fix said presentation).
The twins put up with Stan and Fordâs fighting because they realized itâs probably essentially exactly how they looked when they were bumping into each other the first time they were trying to create this presentation.
Some things never change.
Sibling Rivalry? Absolutely timeless.
I was thinking about how he did not have to include this photo of himself in TBOB and how it really looks like it had to be taken by someone else.

1-800-LONELYCHEF (ii)
Summary: It's date night with Sanji. He meticulously prepared this for weeks and he's so nervous that he feels like he's going to faint. Afterwards, he's planning on asking you to come over. What will happen if you say yes? WC: 7.5k CW: NSFW! Afab reader w/gendered pronouns (she/her/hers). Modern-ish AU; pwp; intercourse; oral (f. receiving); ejaculation inside. Minors do not interact!

Itâs a Friday night. Months ago, you would have been gearing up for a long night at your job, being a phone sex operator. But you quit a while ago and your weekends look different now.
Like many Friday nights over the last year, youâre spending it with Sanji. But this time heâs actually thereâmaterially present, in the flesh, smiling at you a couple feet away.
Itâs a special night tonight. Youâve been seeing Sanji for around a month and a half, and tonight youâre at his restaurant, finally. Youâve fantasized about this for ages.
The darling chef across the table from you planned this carefully. He adjusted his scheduleâinstead of working tonight, heâs added an extra shift in next week, making up for the deficit.
Heâs gone to great lengths to ensure that the crew in the kitchen is the best of the best, including that sous chef, who he strongly dislikesâbut personal feelings aside, in Sanjiâs kitchen there are only the most talented of chefs. Heâs made sure of it.
He watched the ordering forms and produce vendors like hawks in the week leading up to this. You will only be eating the best quality ingredients, the freshest food, and nothing less.
Sanji is tense and heâs so nervous that heâs starting to feel sick. Heâs running the logistics over in his head, trying to calculate if thereâs anything he forgot, anything he missed, anything that could fall flat.
You can tell heâs overthinking, and itâs endearing. When his eyes arenât darting around the restaurant, peeking into the semi-open kitchen and factoring all sorts of minuscule variables in your dining experience, heâs looking at you.
His gaze is warm, and when heâs around you, heâs sunshine personified. You canât deny that he looks at you with such reverent adoration that itâs almost off-putting. But nothing he could do could actually put you off. Youâre far too in love with him for that.
The restaurant is dark and the lights are warm. Slow jazz music plays at a low volume and the whole establishment smells exquisite.
There are tea lights on each table, with tiny flames that reflect in the gorgeous dark mahogany accents and mirrors on the walls. Next to each candle is a small vase filled with a couple flower stemsâtonight, Sanji specifically asked the front of house staff to use your favorite flowers.
Across from you, the blonde man is dressed in what you now know is his signature outfitâblack slacks with a button up; the sleeves are rolled up and a few buttons are undone. He looks effortlessly handsome and stylish. Your heart beats a bit faster when he catches your eyes.
How many dates has it been?
Youâve lost track at this point. Maybe you should be taking things slower with him, but you canât hold yourself back when it comes to spending time with him.
One thing that youâve been very intentional about, however, is intimacy (which is interesting, given your relationship history). After all, Sanji used to be one of your clients. Youâve had plenty of phone sex, but you havenât gotten to the real thing yet.
Youâre saving that for the right moment. Sure, youâve made out with him a few times and you canât deny that you both certainly get excited, but youâve exercised self-restraint so far. You take this man very seriously. That seriousness entails caution.
The caution is only naturalânot only do you feel like this man may be the love of your life, but he also wounded you deeply before. Building your trust, becoming accustomed to his affection and attention, and mending your heart has taken a little while. Itâs an active process. But youâre comfortable now.
Soundlessly, Sanji breaks your train of thought. He reaches his hand across the circular table and places it palm-up in front of you.
You slide your hand onto his and he twists his wrist slightlyâyour fingers are entwined now. His thumb tickles as it draws a soft circle across your skin.
The flame from the tea light on the table reflects in his irises.
âMy love?â He asks, rousing you from your stupor of thought. âWhat do you think?â
He gestures to the scenery around and you take a second to respond, soaking in the ambiance before giving him your verdict. Heâs dying to know whether or not youâre impressed.
You havenât told him yet, but youâve been here before. Just once. A date took you here long ago, years before you started your old job, years before Sanji took up the position as head chef. The ambiance hasnât changed much but it feels different now. For one, the man sitting across from you is simply radiating love. Heâs devilishly handsome and chivalrous. He squeezes your hand gently.
âI like it,â you reply. âItâs just like you described. Very classy.â
He smiles. âI canât wait for you to try the food.â
Youâve had Sanjiâs cooking before, and itâs (simply put) the best food youâve ever been served. Any time you go to his apartment, he cooks for you. But tonight, Sanji isnât in the kitchen. This is a show of his skill in managing the kitchen, purveying ingredients, instructing his subordinates, and running the show, more than anything else.
âTell me about the menu tonight,â you prompt him. You know heâs put an exorbitant amount of thought and energy into creating and testing what will be served tonight.
This restaurant is French. Sanji describes the prix fixe menuâhe tends to link the dishes and flavors he constructs to very specific memories, emotions, or envisioned scenes. Itâs impressive, and he shares each nugget of inspiration with you as the courses are served, per a promise he made weeks ago.
This experience is necessarily intimateâthis is his passion, his art, the thing that heâs dedicated his life to.
It doesnât escape him that youâre listening intently, appreciating the nuances of what heâs saying, and looking breathtaking while doing it.
The courses are small and painstakingly procured and presented. Itâs interesting, looking at each dish and hearing the waitstaff explain whatâs going on with each one, especially when the man in questionâthe artist and chef himselfâis sitting in front of you. You can tell that the waiter is a bit nervous to serve him, but Sanji is kind and affable, putting them at ease immediately.
The first dish is a rocket salad with pears, pea blossoms, and a light vinaigrette.
âThis recipe was actually passed down from my dad,â Sanji begins. âThe story is kind of funny. Years ago, he was exploring some island and came across a tavern. They served something similar to this. He tried to get the recipe but ended up getting in a fist fight with the owner, so he just had to recreate it himself. He always complains that this salad isnât as good as it should be, since itâs missing that âje ne sais quoisâ, but over the years heâs tweaked it. I stole it, obviously, and made some of my own adjustments.â
The dish is tangy, refreshing, and bright. Itâs ridiculously good. Obviously.
You compliment him and, even though the room is dark, you can make out a pink flush across his cheeks. He lives for your praise.
Next, thereâs a soup. Sanji explains how it came about.
âWhen I was growing up, Zeff had a bunch of leftovers that he was going to use for something else and I swiped them when he wasnât looking. I threw them into a pot and⌠this is kind of the outcome. He was making some dish with leeks, so the scraps I stole were mostly leek trimmings. He was pissed when he realized I snagged them. The soup turned out awful the first few tries, like it was literally inedible, but I got it down to a science at some point. The trick is adding in some sage and the tiniest amount of white wineâit changes the balance of flavors completely.â
âHow old were you?â You ask between flavorful spoonfuls.
You swear no one has given him any attention or love before, from the way he responds to your questions and praise. He looks genuinely shocked that youâve asked him a such a thoughtful question. Heâs never gotten used to the very sincere attention you treat him with, hasnât reckoned with the fact that someone like you would be genuinely interested in him. Youâve known him (and treated him like this) since your first conversation, but it still takes him aback.
Sanji explains that he must have been 13 or 14 at the time, and he goes on to describe how upset his dad got with him over the whole fiasco. When Zeff finally tried the one of the more perfected, streamlined iterations of the leek soup, he said dropped the subject entirely. âThat means that he liked it,â Sanji explains.
Youâve tried to piece together the man in front of you as long as youâve known himâevidently, he wasnât showered with praise as a child. The stories heâs told you, and his reaction to your compliments, make that clear. But he still has so much kindness in his heart, itâs absurd.
While Sanji tells you about the anecdotes and memories that prompted certain recipes, you notice that heâs figeting with the edge of his napkin with one hand. Heâs nervous. It melts your heart a bit.
You lose track of the courses. Each is more scrumptious than the last, which shouldnât be possible, but heâs a culinary genius so heâs pulled it off somehow. Afterwards, thereâs a cheese course, a platter of dips, a carpaccio of some sort, a savory galette, another salad⌠the plates are small and never ending.
The last dish is, of course, dessert. Itâs a tiramisu, scooped out of a huge serving dish, table-side.
The layers are defined, and it smells like cocoa. Sanji hesitates with this explanation. You wonder why.
âTiramisu? Howâd you come up with this one?â You smile at him, sensing his pause, and his heart flutters.
âWell,â he says, clearing his throat. âI heard my mom say that she liked it one day, offhand⌠So, I made it. Iâve been making it ever since.â
This is the first time heâs mentioned her in all your long months of talking. âYour mom?â
âY-yeah, she uhh⌠She passed a long time ago when I was a little kid. She got really sick. She never got to try the tiramisu. But, ah, fuck, this sounds a bit cheesy, but whenever I make it, I make it for her.â
âOh,â you respond, softly. âThatâs very sweet, Sanji.â
He averts his eyes for a split-second, and you see that blush is taking over his whole face. Your heart is twisting at his storyâhow is this man real? He makes it for her? Fucking hell, heâs perfect.
Each story heâs told tonight has given you a look into his character, his childhood, memories, and impressions of the world. The tiramisu is perfectâitâs not too sweet and the flavors are balanced. The perfect way to end the perfect meal.
âFuck, Sanji,â you say, furrowing your brows in an expression of incredulity. âItâs delicious. Like, one of the best things Iâve ever had.â
âThanks, sweetheart. I made this batch myself.â
You can taste the love that itâs made with, really. This whole meal has been ridiculously good. You didnât know food could be this good. It tastes even better because the handsome man across from you is showering you in compliments and the bill is completely taken care of.
âSo, what did you think?â Sanji asks when the meal is over, reaching for your hand again. Heâs smiling and a bit shy.
âIt was amazing.â You respond simply, and he sees your lips curl up into that smile he so covets. âThank you, Sanji. Seriously. For sharing everything with me. This was lovely.â
âIt didnât disappoint?â His eyes are brightening. You can see heâs starting to positively beam at your praise.
âIt didnât disappoint in the slightest. Youâre so talented, itâs just, wow.â
When you leave the restaurant, you walk into the parking lot holding hands. You reflect in the third person for a secondâhow wild is this, to be with this man here, right now, hand in hand, with bashful smiles. Those familiar butterflies stir when he looks at you.
Like clockwork, Sanji invites you back to his place. You usually decline his invitation (which he presents without fail) because you donât want to get too attached too fast, but⌠youâve decided that sentiment is futile. Youâre already attached. Very attached. Thereâs no point in deluding yourself any longer, really. Youâre madly in love with each other and itâs no secret.
âWould you like to come back to mine for a drink, gorgeous?â
You take a second to study him. He does look fantastic, so put together and well-kept, and heâs been so sweet with you. You like him too much to decline.
âIâd love to.â
The ride back home is quietâyouâre comfortable enough with Sanji to sit in silence for periods of time. Itâs peaceful, and it feels like youâve known each other for years. He reaches a hand over and sets it on your thigh, giving you a soft squeeze.
Before you know it, youâre in Sanjiâs apartment again. Youâve been here a handful of times. Heâs made you dinners and lunches, youâve watched shows together and cuddled on the couch. But tonight, you feel something in the air. Maybe tonight is the night that you go all the way with him, finally.
When youâre settled on the couch, he offers you a glass of wine or a cocktail. He caters to you like youâre royalty. An interesting irony.
âWould you like a pair of sweats and a hoodie, darling?â He asks after heâs fixed you your drink. You smile at him and respond in the affirmativeâthe stuffy, cute outfit youâve been wearing is getting on your nerves, and itâs going to feel so much better to wear his clothes. It always does.
When you change into his clothes and return to the living room, Sanjiâs face goes crimson again. Heâs only seen you in his clothes a handful of times before and it makes him feel things. His heart and stomach are doing flips and his eyes are practically turning into hearts. Heâs adorable.
âWould you like to watch something together, gorgeous? Maybe that show you were telling me about?â He asks as you both get comfy on the couch. Your bodies are pressed side-by-side.
âHow about we just snuggle for a bit?â You propose, and he readily agrees.
âI could be persuaded to snuggle.â Sanji puts an arm around your waist and pulls you closer. âI canât believe you spend time with me. Iâm the luckiest man on earth.â Heâs smiling and peppering your face with kisses.
âSanjiiii,â you say, giggling. âCut it out. It tickles.â
âIâdonâtâeverâwantâtoâstop,â he kisses you somewhere between each word. Your cheeks, your neck, your hand, your forehead. Anywhere he can reach. âYouâre stunning.â
His hand reaches for your chin and guides your lips to his. Heâs preposterously suave. Itâs like something out of a romance movie.
When he breaks the kiss, he says, âHow did I land you? Youâre just too beautifuââ
You cut him off by pressing your lips on his mid-word. You can tell heâs nervous and high-strung from dinner. But now that heâs impressed you like he wanted, he can calm down. He relaxes into your embrace after a second.
The kisses start soft, but they quickly increase in desperation. He wants you so bad that you can feel his yearning with each kiss. Ever the gentleman, he keeps his hands to his self, only placing one on your cheek and the other softly on your hip.
Maybe tonight is the night.
As you lock lips, you move his hand from where it rests on your hip downwards, so heâs touching your ass now through the sweatpants he lent you. Sanji timidly grabs a handful. Heâs being gentle and shy, but you suspect that heâs in agony with desire.
This is a moment heâs dreamed about for around a year at this point. This night is about to be filled with moments that heâs been dreaming of.
You move his other hand from your cheek to your chestâhis hands do as they please, petting and kneading you through the fabric of his clothes. After a few moments of Sanjiâs hands getting their fill, they trail to your waist and he maneuvers you backwards, guiding you to lay on the couch while he perches over you.
Youâre on your back now and heâs braced over you, with one hand next to your head and the other placed on your waist. He slides a knee between your legs, pressing it up between your legs, leaving it to rest there. Who knew this chef had it in him.
As you continue to lock lips, the pleasure from his knee grazing your core starts to make heat bloom between your legs.
You start to grind onto his knee slightly, and when your quiet sounds of pleasure seep out of your lips and into Sanjiâs mouth, your hand finds his hard bulge. You caress him gently and pulls your lips from his.
âI want you, Sanji,â you murmur, and he pauses his wandering hands. He wants to ravage you totally, to have his way with you and make you reel in ecstasy, but he needs to check on you first.
âWait, wait, my love, are you sure?â He whispers, softly placing a hand over yours, keeping it still. âAre you absolutely sure you want to go farther?â
âMmmhmm,â you look at him with pleading eyes and he almost melts on the spot. âIâm sure, Sanji.â
âThen letâs get more comfortable,â he says. âWant to go to my room?â
You agree, and within moments youâre in Sanjiâs bed under the covers. The bed is big and plushy, the sheets are soft, and the lighting is low and warm. He wastes no time pulling off his shirt and pants as he slides under the sheets.
You do the same, pulling off the clothes he so nicely lent you. Youâre in your underwear now, and heâs in his, and heâs looking at you like youâre a piece of art. Heâs wondering if he should pinch himselfâis this a dream?
Not only does he get to spend time with you, the person he loves, but he also gets to see you and touch you? Heâs thanking his lucky stars. If he knew many months ago that this would be his future, he wouldnât have believed it.
Sanji pulls you to him and your chests are pressing together. He brings his lips to your neck and kisses a trail down to your collarbone.
âWhat did I ever do to get so lucky?â He asks again before he presses his lips on yours. His skin is warm, and his hands are rough. But the rest of him is softâespecially his hair, which your fingers weave their way through.
You throw a thigh over his hip and draw him closer. You realize that heâs hard, pressing on your core through the fabric of your underwear. While he kisses you he starts to slowly, barely rock his hips into you.
Sanjiâs strong hands wander to grab rough handfuls of your ass. He uses his grip on your skin to press your body closer to his, and at the same time, he grinds harder into you. Heat is starting to build at the base of his spineâhe can feel his lust slipping out. Heâs about to lose his composure.
You suspected that Sanji would have some skills but heâs sinfully good in bed so far and youâre not even naked yet. Just the way he rolls his hips is mesmerizing. His kissing technique leaves nothing to be desired.
You have a feeling that he could do this for hours. But heâs not going to make any first moves here, no matter how crazed and desirous he feels. Youâve already talked about what this moment would look like, after all. Sanji told you a while ago that if and when you had sex for the first time, he wanted you to take the lead. He hates the idea of doing anything to you that makes you even the least bit uncomfortable or pressured.
Knowing this, you extricate yourself from him and remove your bra. He helps you shimmy out of your panties. Then you place your hands on him and drag your fingers downwards, conjuring a trail of goosebumps in their wake. Your fingertips pass over his broad chest, his toned and hard abs, and his dark happy trail. They reach the waistband of his boxers and slide underneath.
When your fingers touch his bare skin and wrap around his erection, his breath hitches and he goes completely still. All of his senses are focused on how soft your hand feels on his aching length and how leisurely you start to stroke him.
âAh,â he lets out a sound thatâs somewhere between a whine and a groan. âThat f-feels so good, gorgeous.â
You hum in response and bring your other hand to the waistband of his underwear, pulling it down so his erection springs all the way out. Bringing both hands to his shaft now, you stroke him, slowly twisting your wrists.
His shaft is thick and longâthe perfect size. You can tell itâs going to feel like a nice good stretch when he finally nestles himself inside you. If heâs not careful it might be a bit painful. Heâs quite well endowed.
Minutes pass like seconds and precum starts to weep from his head, trickling down your fingers. Heâs squirming slightly. Every twist of your wrists around his throbbing length elicits a delightful, lewd noise from him.
âFuucck,â he whines softly, âif you keep it up Iâm gonnaâgonna cum.â
âWell, we wouldnât want that yet, would we?â You offer him a coy smile and stop moving. Â
Sanji kisses you in short, passionate bursts. After a second, he makes a proposition.
âHow about I go down on you?â
âMmmm. Iâll allow it. I heard youâre quite talented.â You smile, referencing a conversation the pair of you had many months ago. Sanji cracks a grin, and you giggle.
âLetâs hope I wasnât overselling myself, huh?â
You lay back on the pillows. Sanji gets on top of you, situating himself between your wide-spread legsâhe starts to leave a trail of kisses from the hollow of your throat over your sternum and across your belly button. His lips keep moving lowerâwhen he reaches the space where your thighs meet, he pulls one of your thighs up slightly. He holds it up effortlessly, kissing from behind your knee inwards and upwards towards your core. His lips stop right before they get to the place you crave them the most.
Sanji does the same with your other thigh, lifting it up and kissing the inside until heâs painfully close to your sensitive spots.
After teasing your thighs with kisses, Sanji finally touches you where youâve been waiting for. He brings his fingers to your already sticky core. When his flesh meets yours, you gasp. He spreads you apart just barely, giving himself full access to your clit.
He wets his lips and places a soft, delicate kiss right on top of your sensitive bud of nerves. Itâs a slow kiss, one thatâs so gentle that it leaves you wanting more. When he goes in for a second kiss he uses a bit of tongue this time, just barely swirling the tip of his tongue in a circle. It sends a zap of pleasure through your bodyâyour toes curl and you inhale sharply.
Sanji spends a few minutes doing this. He kisses your clit, alternating between using tongue and no tongue, and when your thighs spread wider and you begin to shake just the tiniest amount, he places a long lick from below your folds all the way upwards, ending with your clit. He dips his tongue in slightly, tasting you and relishing your scent, noises, and movements.
Your hands wander into his hair and he holds back a smile. He needs to focus on making you feel good. He knows heâs doing that right now, but he wants to make you feel even better. Heâd love to hear you begging for more.
âS-sanji,â you murmur, your tone bathed in lust and oozing with need. You donât say anything other than his name, but he knows what you mean.
His tongue and lips move lowerâhe presses his tongue into you slowly and it feels otherworldly. He brings it out and back in again, going as deep as he can. One of his hands rests on your thigh, pushing it down so he can have better access.
He relishes the weight of your fingers in his hair and your shallow, rapid breaths. This is heaven. He wishes he could freeze this moment and live in it forever.
As more arousal seeps out of you, Sanji pushes his ring finger into you slowly. He hooks it, delicately pressing you in all the right spots. While his finger explores, he keeps placing kisses on your clit. After a few moments, when youâve adjusted to his finger, he presses another one into you.
Sanjiâs cock is weeping against the covers as he eats you out and fingers you. His hips press into the sheets, humping against the fabric slightly. He canât hold himself back.
His eyes snap upwards and meet yours. Youâre staring down at him, gazing at where his pretty lips meet your flesh. When he looks up at you, he sees how glossy and half-lidded your eyes are. His heart patters and threatens to stop. He takes a mental screenshot.
Sanjiâs fingers search for a certain spot inside of youâa spongy, gooey one. When he thinks heâs found it, he presses it slightly. Your thighs shake, your back arches off the sheets, and your toes curl again.
âMmmppphhhh, Sanji, fuck,â you moan and he hums in response.
The slurping noises that heâs making are paired with muted squelching noises from where his tongue works on your heat and his fingers caress you inside. Youâre almost at your limit.
He pulls his lips away and his fingers stop moving. âDo you want to cum, princess? Or do you want to wait?â
Heâs so polite even when heâs feral. Itâs heart melting.
Your brain is short circuiting. You do want to cum. You feel too good to ignore that crazy desire. But you also know that waiting and edging yourself a little bit would result in a better orgasm overall. But whoâs to say that you canât cum multiple times?
Sanji can see you check out mentally while you have this inner conversation with himself. A couple seconds pass. Itâs hard to think straight while his fingers are inside of you, while his lips are poised so closelyâŚ
While you attempt to think it over, Sanji presses a kiss on your clit to get your attention. You whimper and respond, âI canât make up my mind.â Your face looks tortured and itâs making his heart do flips.
âJust let me make you feel good,â he says, voice warm and comforting. You nod, closing your eyes, and he reaches under you to pull you even closer to his face.
Sanji draws his fingers out of you slowly and then presses his lips back to your entrance, probing his tongue against your hot arousal. Your hips buck inadvertently, and the movement presses his tongue deeper into you. Lost in pleasure already, you pull on his hair so hard that it hurts him (in the best way).
Sanjiâs technique is mind blowing. You lose track of where his tongue and lips and fingers end and where your skin begins. All you know is that the space between your legs feels good, and hot, and sloppy, and buzzing, and throbbing, and Sanjiâs there.
He can tell youâre close after a little while, can feel you writhing against his eager tongue as depraved sounds trickle out of you.
After fucking you with his tongue and playing with your clit, Sanji slides a finger into you to caress and pet your g-spot as he lavishes your clit with the rest of his attention. Itâs mind-numbingly good and brings you to orgasm in seconds.
âS-s-sanji, Iâfuck, fuck,â you whine at him and moan his name through your orgasm. The greedy slurping sounds that ring in the room are filthy and loud. While you cum you pull him (by his hair) as close as he can get to your core. Sanji licks you clean, savoring every last drop of the pleasure he coaxed out of you.
Youâre in a daze, riding out the ripples of ecstasy from your orgasm as he moves upwards, climbing over you, to pull you into a tender kiss.
Heâs prepared to leave it thereâhe doesnât want to push anything further. He made you cum and thatâs his dream come true. But even though you just came, you feel a burning, carnal desire for more. More of Sanjiâs skin on yours, more of his hips moving, more of his soft hair in your hands, more everything.
âSanji,â you mutter and his ears perk up. âWanna do more.â Itâs both a statement and a question.
âAre you sure, gorgeous?â He looks worried for a second. He doesnât want to push you too far. But when he sees how strongly you nod your head yes, how blown out your pupils and lidded your eyes are in lust, he lets go of all apprehension.
âHow about you sit up, pretty?â He asks, and you do as he says. Sanji sits up too, and he maneuvers you so youâre straddling him, chests pressed together. Your arms are thrown over his shoulders, you wrap your legs around him, and your lips come to meet his neckâhe smells manly, musky, and faintly of cologne. His heart is beating so fast you can feel it in your chest.
Your head is still floating from your orgasm moments ago, but you have enough sense to lift up slightly, positioning yourself over his erection.
âPlease, darling,â he whispers, feeling your hot breath on his neck.
While you place kisses on his neck, you sink down onto his length, slowly and cautiously. Itâs a delicious feeling of being spread openâyour body conforms to his girth and accommodates his (many) inches. The stretch feels amazing somehow, not painful like you were worried about.
When heâs fully inside of you the wiry ring of hair at the base of his shaft meets with your skin and he lets out a quiet groan.
âF-fuuhhhckkk.â
You sit like this for a secondâhis arms come to wrap around your waist and your walls throb around him. Heâs trying to be patient, trying to fully appreciate this moment and etch each sensation in his mind. But his body is going into overdrive. His patience wears thin and disappears.
Sanji presses his hips upwards slightly, eliciting a gasp from you that makes his heart flutter. He does it again and the leaking tip of his shaft brushes that spongey spot inside of you just right.
âAh, Sanji, fuck that feels good,â you whimper, speaking into the crook of his neck.
He does it again, harder this time. Each thrust of his hips conjures what feel like fireworks of pleasure. While your eyes are squeezed shut and your mouth hangs open in absent concentration, each press of his hips makes pretty colors erupt behind your eyes. Every burst of pleasure is red, white, purple, dazzlingly distracting.
His hands creep from your waist to your ass, then lower, to cup your thighs underneath and youâre reminded that this is a very real moment. He begins to slowly pull you up his length and press you back down, manipulating your movements on his shaft in a way that makes your eyes roll back in your head and your moans increase in desperation.
âFuck, youâreâyouâre perfect,â Sanji forces the words out between ragged breaths and grunts. âPerfect for me.â
Sanji is getting dangerously close to orgasm. He doesnât know what to doâshould he go slower now? Edge himself? Would you prefer he pulled out and took care of his own business?
As Sanjiâs mind races for a second, you mutter something into his neck that makes him feel like his heart is going to stop.
âInside.â
He pauses.
âWhat?â
âI saidâahâI said inside.â
Sanji gets the message. And while youâve been explicit, he has to check. Heâs just a gentleman through and through.
âAre you absolutely sure, beautiful?â
You nod again and lick a soft stripe up his neck. Sanji stifles a groan. His voice is hoarse, and his groans are punctuated by raspy breaths that go straight to your ear (and right between your legs).
When he starts to move again, Sanji finds a measured pace that shifts up a notch every few thrusts. The speed grows and heâs using all strength and concentration to make you feel as good as possible.
Your moans are so guttural that they almost sound like sobs. Each one goads on Sanjiâs paceâand all the while, heâs actively conscious of the fact that heâs having sex with you, the person he loves, the person heâs loved for many months, the person heâs fantasized about being close with in every way.
If you could focus enough to get a good look at him youâd see that his cheeks are ruddy and his hair is plastered around the temples with sweat. He looks like a mess, and damn, it suits him.
In your daze, youâre approaching orgasm. You want him to cum, too, of course. You have an idea of something that might push him over the edge.
Your lips trail from his neck upwards, finding his earlobe. When you suck on it softly, Sanji pauses almost imperceptibly. Heâs holding on for dear life. Heâs close to orgasm, resisting it as much as he can so he can relish this moment for as long as physically possible.
But when you bite down on his earlobe, just enough to cause pain, Sanji crumbles. His thrusts turn haphazard and frantic. He loses himself in pleasure. Each gravelly moan that tumbles out of his mouth is followed by a whimper.
He cums when you bite down again. And while he cums, you whisper his name into his ear in the filthiest tone you can manage. Itâs a tone thatâs far more erotic than any you employed with him on the past. Itâs a sincere one, one from the heart (and elsewhere), totally anchored in the reciprocal and yearning desire of the present moment.
Sanji comes apart and splits at the seams. As his arms encircle and pull you tighter, he rocks up one last time then, per your request, he orgasms inside of you. He moans your name through his orgasm, much like you did for him, and you know that heâs done this many times before. Your name is familiar and comfortable in his mouth.
The difference now is that (among other things) his words are met with a pair of ears other than his own. His moans are caused by your real warmth, flesh, and pleasure, too. Itâs more intense than he could have imagined. Heâs seeing stars. He buries his face in the crook of your neck while he orgasms, shuddering breaths while he embraces you so tight that itâs almost painful.
After many moments of labored, recovering breaths and soft nuzzles into each otherâs skin, Sanji gingerly pulls out of you. He lifts you and sets you on your back on the bed. Youâre coming back to reality slowly but surely. He props himself next to you and brings a hand to pet your hair.
âThat was spectacular. Youâre perfect, my love.â
âNobodyâs perfect,â you roll your eyes jokingly.
âMmmm. Agree to disagree, gorgeous. Câmere.â Sanji kisses you softly once, cupping your face with both hands. When he pulls away, he seems to stiffen a bit. He offers a smileâdid that look a little reserved, or are you overthinking things?âputs on his boxers, and goes to the bathroom to get you a towel.
The thought that just flitted through Sanjiâs mind making him stiffen up isnât a kind one. Frequently these sorts of thoughts weasel their way into his mind. This one just reminded him to not be 'too much'. Donât be too overbearing. Donât scare her away. Donât suffocate her with your affection. What if she doesnât want it? What if itâs too much for her?
Sanji reflects as he walks to grab you a towel. Heâs been holding back his love for you for months. Ever since you first talked on the phone, he knew that he loved you. It has been many long months since then. And through all these long months, heâs tried to keep the visceral strength of his emotions at bay.
Now that Sanji knows you in real life, now that heâs started seeing you, now that the feelings are (supposedly) mutual, the love inside of him has only grown. But it hasnât grown proportionately to what he allows to escape. In other words, as much as his love for you grows, he tries to reign it in for fear of being too much for you.
Sanji has been counting down the hours, minutes, and seconds until youâre comfortable enough with him for him to be fully himself. Because of his fear of scaring you away, heâs been trying to practice restraint. Heâs been trying to present a version of himself that doesnât seem too eager, too lovey-dovey and too obsessed. But every time he sees you, he feels like heâs going to burst at the seams.
As he walks through his apartment to grab you a towel, thoughts of self-doubt and caution assail his mind.
Could someone like you really love someone like him, a lonely, desperate loser who only works and smokes? It doesn't make any sense.
Will you get sick of him if he lets loose the strong feelings inside? If you get sick of him, he doesn't know how he'd cope with the heartbreak.
If heâs open with you, if he pets your hair like he wants to, holds your hand, stares longingly into your eyes and pulls you closerâif he does all of that and more, would it be too much for you? Will too much put you off, chase you away, or scare you?
Concern is written on his face plain as day, as much as he tries to hide it. Youâve noticed it a couple of times. On a few of the dates youâve been on you've seen it peek through. And you saw it just now, when he stiffened up a bit.
You ponder for a moment on how to ease the tension you feel from him. How best can you offer this man some solace, in a sincere way that doesnât have a trace of the artificial sugar through which you used to have to filter your words?
A couple seconds pass and you can hear Sanji padding softly back into his bedroom with a plush, white towel.
You take a second to admire his frame as he approaches the bed. Heâs slender and toned. His hair is ruffled up and his cheeks are still rosy from the effort moments ago.
Your eyes sweep from his feet to his legs and thighsâtheyâre thick and hairy. Upwards more and you admire his pretty happy trail that snakes up his abdomen and thins out before it reaches his belly button.
Your eyes wander farther and you see his pecsâtrimmed and definedâthe same goes for his biceps, shouldersâŚ
Sanji can tell youâre giving him a good look and he flushes crimson. The blush is enough to avert the negative thoughts mulling in his head.
As your eyes flick up to meet his, he smiles, but you can still make out some restraintâthis faint tension from Sanji is a tension you can only surmise comes from his insecurity. You know him too well.
âHere you go, beautiful,â he says, rounding the bed to your side. He gets ready to kiss you again and help you get a bit tidier.
âSanji,â your tone is different when you speak. Itâs soft and firm at the same time. He pauses, heart stopping for a second.
Are you about to tell him you donât want him? His mind races to the worst-case scenario.
âYes?â
âDonât forget that Iâm head over heels for you, okay?â You reach out a hand to him. âYou donât have to hold anything back with me.â
He exhales and sits down on the bed next to you, sliding his fingers through yours.
âFuck. Am I being that obvious?â He furrows his brow and lets out a nervous chuckle.
âMmmm, only a little bit. Are you doing okay?â
He brings a hand to your cheek again. âIâm doing wonderfully. Iâm just⌠Iâm trying not to drown you in affection. I like you so much and I feel so strongly about you that I get a little worried about scaring you away.â
âSanji.â You frown. It hurts to hear him say something like that. Maybe you havenât been vocal enough with him about how you feel. âYouâre not going to drown me in affection. I told you Iâm head over heels for you. I mean it. Iâm here for good and I love you.â
âYou promise?â He squeezes your hand, and a smile takes over his lips.
âI promise. You're not going to scare me away. So no more holding back, okay?â
Sanji nods, relieved, and leans in for another kiss. He goes in with the intention of giving you a good one. But it turns into multiple.
His kisses feel different this time. Maybe they feel more honest. Softer. Sweeter. Something has changed.
When he pulls away from you, he keeps his face close. Heâs so pretty up close like thisâhis eyes are stunning. His irises are a complicated color that you canât quite place, his cheeks are flushed, and his hair is pushed back. His smile is charming and makes your stomach do flips.
âNow that Iâm not holding back anymore,â he begins, âdo you know how precious you are to me? How much I cherish you?â
âA lot?â You venture a guess, and your grin makes Sanjiâs heart trip.
âA lot is an understatement. I canât put it into words. I just want to shower you in affection, cook for you all day, and treat you like you deserve. I think about you a, uh, probably a concerning amount. Iâm enamored.â
You thread you fingers through his hair again, pushing it back to expose his forehead some more, admiring those pretty cheekbones, and those swirly eyebrows.
âWell, I feel the same, Sanji. Iâm glad you finally worked up the nerve to ask me out. You say that Iâm perfect, but I think thatâs you. Do you know how much I cherish you, Sanji?â You bring your entwined hands to your lips, kissing Sanjiâs softly. "A lot. So don't ever hold back with me."
âHearing that makes me happier than I can put into words, gorgeous.â
After exchanging more kisses and sickeningly sweet words, you put Sanjiâs comfy clothes back on. You move to the living room again and he fixes you anything you please. You show him that show you love a lot, and he watches intently, laser-focused because he believes your taste in media (and other things) reflects some part of your character. As he watches, he wonders, what does she like best about this? What speaks to her about this?
His ardent admiration for you seeps out of him in a steady stream now. You soothed his heart and applied a salve of words and kisses. Heâs happy to his core, with every fiber of his being, a pure sort of joy that he hasnât felt in many, many years. He savors you as much as he possibly can and never stops counting his lucky stars, per say.
Maybe his lovesickness and insecurity will sneak up again on him. Most likely. He knows that next time that crushing wave comes for himâthe wave of self-doubt and disgustâyouâll reassure him wholeheartedly. He wonât scare you away, he canât, and he will never be too much for you.

I went to summer camp as a kid. Six times, actually. I have many fond memories, and even more terrible ones. Here's one that's a mixture of both.
To set the stage, I had just spent the night in the infirmary due to a big fight I had with almost my entire tent. They never wanted to sleep, and were always obnoxiously loud with a lantern dubbed "the sun" that let me see movement around me with my eyes closed from the shadows passing over it. I was sleep-deprived, overstimulated, autistic-but-unaware-of-that, and twelve years old, and I already disliked these girls because they talked shit about me behind my back and took advantage of naivety. This unfortunate combination lead to a blowout meltdown in which I said some things I regret, so the counselors decided it'd be best if I spent some time away.
Now, this had the unforeseen consequence of putting me in a place with less supervision. This place also had some strange bugs. They were small, about the size of my pinky fingernail. Most of their bodies were in their tails, which curved downwards like a reverse scorpion. They were black and white, sort of striped, with six legs and no wings. Their fangs were very thin, but long, extending out from their faces like brownish parentheses. They had a propensity to bite.
Perhaps you can see where this is going.
While messing around with these bugs, I noticed that when they bit, they didn't just chomp and leave. They sunk their fangs in and they kept them there for a long time. Naturally, I decided to see what would happen if I let them, nay, encouraged them to bite me, as an experiment. When would they extricate their incisors from my flesh? Would my reaction to the bites vary depending on the amount of time each bite lasted?
I let these bugs bite me four times, once for about 13 minutes, once for about 5 minutes, once for about 1 minute, and once for 45 seconds (I didn't have a watch, so these are estimates). Then, I forged a peaceful resolution with my tentmates and we went to watch the beginning of Color War.
Except, turns out it's stupid to let unidentified insects taste your blood. The bites swelled up huge. I got chills. My stomach hurt intensely. My counselor took me back to the infirmary to get them checked out.
Needless to say, this was not easy to explain to the nurse on duty ("WHY" "For science!"). His first thought was we needed to figure out what bit me. If only it were that simple.
We combed through the databases for insects in the state. We expanded our search to arachnids, even, although it certainly wasn't one. I drew a little mock-up on a Post-It to show him. There was not a single match. To this day, I have no idea what it was that I let bite me. I was given orders to come back tomorrow to get them checked by a doctor, and also return every morning and night for a week to put warm compresses and medicinal ointments on the bites, and a strong directive to never do anything like that again, with a side of "What the hell were you thinking????"
A couple of months later, after camp, I went to my friend's bar mitzvah. The woman in the row behind me tapped my shoulder. She asked me how the bug bites were. It was the doctor from the infirmary.
-- @dr-robert-chase-apologist
That was a beautiful ending. I have a similar story, but less gruesome than letting bugs bite me. My family used to go up to trips to the Mogollon Mountains two or three times a year. The woods were where my dad always felt the most at peace.
My dad used that time to hike through the trees. And I grew into that eventually, but when I was very little, I felt a particular kinship to the small things of this world. Worms and beetles and woodlice and those peculiar Arizona grasshopers with wings the size of jellybeans and tummies the size of my thumb.
And on one trip, there was an incredible number of these beautiful, fuzzy caterpillars. Picture below.
I went a little crazy about them. They were fluffy, and they were had pretty colors, and they had the cutest, softest, stubbiest little suction cup feets that I'd ever seen. Watching them climb up stalks of grass or over fallen branches was enchanting.
So I caught, like, twenty of them, and most got put in a little terrarium where I could watch them do cute caterpillar things. Mostly eat fresh pine needles and wriggle gregariously. But some I kept out just to play with. I'd put them on my palm, and I'd watch them crawl all the way up to my neck, then I'd move them somewhere else. They tickled, and I was charmed to be their jungle gym.
But apparently, those little hairs break off like fiberglass, and they have some kind of venom on them, so I had these strange, wriggling, almost tattoo like rashes all over my arms up to my neck. Very embarrassing to explain to my parents.
There was an entomologist on the street that I grew up on named Freddie. And he wasn't just a bug expert, he was specifically a caterpillar expert. He had a garden in his backyard that was specifically tailored for butterflies, he'd always draw in clouds of Monarchs during their migration. My parents asked him about the mysterious itchy caterpillars, and he said they were lophocampa ingens, and that I was lucky that I didn't inhale those hairs. They can stick inside your throat and make it swell closed. Scary little bastards.
I'd still see them after that, but never in such numbers. And while I appreciated them, I always tried to keep a few feet of distance. Just to be safe.
(Also, just wanted to clarify that I didn't remember the name for 20 years, I googled "irticating caterpillar Mogollon", and saw the picture. It wasn't until I read the caption that I was like oh yeaaaaah, that's what he called them. But it was one of those memories I could never have pulled at will.)

So like--- read Gender Troubles
but i know ur not gonna do that, so heres the short of it: gender is not like--- real. it is a category of persons, who have relatively disperate traits. Not all 'cis women' have the traits we would generally consider 'woman' (from chromosomes through to actually having a uterus, through to all sorts of other intersex schtuff, along with yknow all the various social traits)
So butler argues that gender isnt really something you are, its more something you do. Saying "i am a woman" is alot like saying "i promise" youre *doing* something alongside saying something.
Of course gender doesnt exist in a background and what we considered "regular people with genders" could more aptly be considered "gendered subjects" and without a society to subjectify them there would be no gendered subjects. Which is why trans people oft prefer society to not suck ass.
TL;DR: gender doesnt exist without a society, the only reason we dont call "femboy" or "worker" a gender is because those arent things we considered worthy of the gender status. So to say "science" says anything about gender is a little bit dishonest. You can change genders because you can change how society views your traits (this is called resignification btw).
Because you can change your gender, and the only reason a person would ever do that is to make their lives better (including children, children are people too) there is no reason not to indulge the change, because WORST CASE SCENARIO they change back, and look at the past with saddened eyes.
But you know what happens if you dont, and they dont change back (abt 99% of cases of transes dont detrans) YOU FUCK UP THEIR CHILDHOOD. I would know. Some of them even kill themselves. If Pink Floyd never recorded I'd prolly be among them ngl.
So as informal as this is, your take is dogshit, learn about Postmodernism, get good, go home, and im not looking for a reply.
Love, Lilly <3
P.S alcohol and cigarretes are addictive and fuck up brain development, being called a name that doesnt make you want to kill yourself is neither of those things, hope that helps :P

maybe a hot take idk
look I know many people are upset about the pricing/fee situation of the TIT livestream (me included, I was pissed as hell that I got a large surprise fee), and I hope everything gets sorted out. Iâm proud of the phandom for being loud and demanding fairness from the platform. you will not get shit past us.
I understand that. however, I completely disagree with some opinions Iâve seen (mainly on twitter but whatever) that charging for the stream at all is greedy, especially for people who have already paid to see the show. this is a weird take imo because this stream is supposed to be an opportunity for people who didnât get to go to see it with an audience as a communal experience. but if you already spent money and donât want to spend more, donât!
and I donât know anything about anything but based on the very little information dnp have provided about the cost of touring, I really donât think they have the option to just do the stream for free. this is just my opinion, but based on how dan said he lost money touring WAD, i would not be surprised if the livestream paid for the rights he needed to release it for free on YouTube (and the extremely important rights to play All Star in the credits). just because he wrote and performed it doesnât mean he owned it. it would not surprise me at all if the profits from the stream donât go to dnp only.
and also, Things Cost Money, including livestreams. I think the platform has really showed their ass, but if we remove them from the equation for a second - everyone who put on TIT, including Dan and Phil, deserve to be compensated for their work. I donât expect them to bleed money into this project forever just because it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Iâm sure theyâre doing just fine financially, but they are not and never have asked anyone to take food off their table to support them.
I actually find it really disheartening to see just how many people were like, legitimately, personally angry with dnp before they had even had a chance to respond to our concerns. Iâve been around long enough to remember when they announced TABINOF, there was an uproar about how they were sellouts because they were writing a book just like every other youtuber, making a shitty cashgrab when they had nothing to say. in the 2 days before we knew what the book would even be about, the Discourse had never been more annoying or mean spirited.
and it made me wonder, what are yall doing here if you assume the worst like that? have you just been waiting for the masks to slip? are you appalled that they participate in the heinous capitalistic act of selling their labor like everyone else? have your years of support not earned a little bit of grace when thereâs a miscommunication?
Iâm not saying approach everything like âtheyâve never done anything wrong once in their whole lives and never willâ, but the vitriol that seems to come out at minor fuck ups is alarming. some of yall do not like them and it shows. (I am looking directly at twitter dot com now)
I find that attitude really sad. after the TABINOF drama, I promised myself Iâd never lose sleep over phandom nonsense again, so Iâm going to bed, just had to get some thoughts out there. đ

i am FASCINATED by the little scraps i've heard about bill's uncle. am i allowed to know more about him. and if the answer is no do you have a chapter estimate for when i am
yeah sure, I already made a post on Bill's mom, I've finally got enough material to make a post on Bill's dad.
Bill got his gorgeous eyelashes, warm color scheme, black limbs, and personality from his mom. He got his shape, his brick lines, and his slitted pupil from his dad. His dad's a self-made businessman*! (*His dad got suckered into joining a multi-level marketing scheme and now he makes money by suckering other people into joining the MLM scheme.)
And: his dad has a brother. They're twiiins!
Bill keeps targeting twins. (The Stans, the kids, TBOB says Pyronica's got a twin sister Hydronica...) I imagine Bill's twin obsession is rooted in something close to home.
Because Euclid & Euler's eye split in half mid-development, they have unusually oval-shaped eyesâa common sign of twins. They've been going to an optometrist since they were toddlers to deal with poor eyesight and floaters in their peripheral vision. They've had a mix of surgery, corrective lenses, and medication to narrow their field of view to the area they can see clearly. So when baby Billy said he was seeing "bright white dots" on "the outside of everything," Euclid went aha! He knows exactly what Bill's seeing!
He did not, in fact, know what Bill was seeing.
Bill's parents didn't regularly visit family, but Euler was the one relative they saw most often. He was the first person to snap out of the "haha it sure is funny how Bill can guess when somebody's about to knock on the door" rationalizations to realize that Bill really could see things no one else did.
And since Bill's parents are sort of disasters who think starting a cult is a great get-rich-quick scheme, Euler was one of the most emotionally stable role models in Bill's life. It sure is a good thing that Euler was a constant presence and nothing happened to him during Bill's tender formative years!
"But wait," you say, "you told us that Bill got his shape and slit pupil from his dad. But wouldn't that mean he got genes for a square? And how could he have gotten a slit pupil if that wasn't a genetic trait, but a consequence of an eyeball splitting in half?"
Triangles and slit pupils don't run in Euclid's side of the family. But squares and twins do.
I imagine Bill's twin obsession is rooted in something close to home.
"So Steve exists in your headcanonâ?" No. He's a stillbirth his parents pretend doesn't exist. He's a crime Bill committed before he was born. He's the imaginary phantom Bill's parents are searching for when they look at Billâstarting fires, hallucinating, spitting up his medicineâand wonder what he'd be like if he was different. He's a symbol representing a source of unconditional love and support that Bill deserved and needed, but never had. Steve's all those thingsâbut he doesn't and never has existed.
And there at last is my Euclid headcanons post. If y'all are interested & didn't see it, here's my Scalene headcanons post! And some headcanons about shape twins that still basically work post-TBOB, we just know now that Euclideans don't need a line and a polygon to reproduce.
(95% of my headcanons about Bill's dad & uncle are pre-TBOB. The only difference is that I originally designed Euclid & Euler as green trapezoids that had split from a hexagon. Trapezoids so that Bill and his dad could do this, green so that Bill's dad could be the original color Bill was designed as before the Gravity Falls crew made him yellow & so that his family could be money-colored: gold-colored Bill & mom, dollar-bill-colored dad.)
(After TBOB/TINAWDC revealed his dad's a triangle and either red or blue, I decided to make the twins blue-green (because I wanted to keep in that "bill's original color scheme" reference) and finagle it so that Euler could still be a trapezoid; after Pyramid Steve came out, I suddenly had a really good thematic reason to make them blue-green. I'd been playing with the idea of making Bill a shoulda-beena twin, Steve finalized that decision by giving me a physical design that could tie into Bill's extended family.)
#euclid cipher#scalene and euclid#bill cipher#euclydia#the book of bill#gravity falls#headcanons#my art#pyramid steve#anonymous#ask#(the funny part of their names is that even though they have similar spelling they're pronounced entirely differently)#(you'd expect yoo clid and yoo ler. but it's yoo clid and oil er)#(anyway since i'm not updating the fic this week here's your substitute art/headcanon post)

Danny&Dan, Black, Solstice, clove @to-lost-futures
Post the comic teenager Dan.
The chain link fence around the roof of the school rattled as Danny let himself fall back against it. The posts squealed rustily when Danny rested his elbows on the railing in a way that should have concerned him, but eh, he could fly. He tilted his head back and looked up at the cloudy sky instead of at his moody companion whoâs space he was invading.
The smell of the clove cigarette was oddly heavy on that cloudy day.
âYou know, those things are going to kill you.â
Dan barked out a bitter laugh and took another purposeful drag.
Danny rolled his eyes. âYou know what I mean.â
Dan didnât answer. He usually didnât. Danny tried to think that as alright, hearing his own voice out of Dan, in that bitting tone, was still hard for Danny most days. But Danny kept trying to talk to Dan anyways. Kept trying to connect.
âIs that a Vlad thing or something?â Danny asked. âI sure have never wanted to smoke and I donât think Mom orââ
âDonât,â Dan finally snapped. âTheyâre not my parents.â
âUh, dude, youâre me so they really are your parents.â
âNo.â
âYes. Yep. Uh-uhââ
The fence rocked behind Dannyâs back.
âThen why the fuck donât I get to see them?!â Dan yelled as he hit the chain links. âWhy do I have to cut my hair differently and wear glasses and tell people my name is Eddie!â
âDanââ
âI have to walk past that building and Tuckerâs house and Nasty Burger like they arenât mine too! And I have to do it all while being Eddie!â
Danny yanked Dan into a hug. The cigarette burned at the back of Dannyâs neck before Dan startled, moved away for a moment, and then back to cling to Danny with a sort of desperation that Danny hadnât thought either of them capable of.
âI hate that fucking name,â Dan sobbed into Dannyâs neck.
âIt really is awful. It sounds like some deadbeat uncle who works for the mob in Chicago. Not even, like, a good mob job. He just handles the dry cleaning. Here ya go Boss, all clean of blood. Even got that sauce stain out and had thems use that ocean fresh scent ya like so much.â
Dan choked a laugh back. âFuck you. I hate you.â
âYeah, I know.â

I have a few but I'll just say this. It's a couple points rolled into one and might not be super unpopular but it's unpopular with some people
Being extremely strict with food will likely result in the very things you don't want to see happen to your child. Now obviously, this doesn't have anything to do with medically necessary diets like someone who has celiac or whatever
Treating junk food as "poison" or going so far as to forbid them from even enjoying something sweet like cake on their birthday because it's unhealthy doesn't actually teach your child about healthy eating. Your body needs components like sugar. It needs it to function and while of course there's a difference between eating sugar that's naturally found in things like fruit vs cake, there's nothing inherently wrong about consuming the 'bad' sugar
But a lot of people don't see it that way. If you find a video where a child is eating something that might not be the healthiest, even if it's just a small taste, you'll get comments about how the parents or whoever have started a lifetime addiction, the child is about to have diabetes, their weight is gonna shoot up, etc etc
It's crucial that your child has a good relationship with food. By being overly strict you're increasing the chances of them developing an eating disorder - such as binge eating disorder - because you're not actually teaching them to be healthy. You're not teaching them about moderation. You're also increasing the odds of them going behind your back to sneak food and/or develop a weight problem and health complications when they're out on their own without you to deny them of anything
You don't want to instill guilt and shame into your child. That sort of thing can linger for years. It's good to teach them to eat healthy but teaching them that sugar is the root of all evil and not letting them have treats every once and a while isn't the way to go. You're going to set your child up for failure and increase the chances that what you don't want to happen will happen

Shelter - 2
Summary: You save Soap's life. Yours continues to go off the rails. Pairing: Simon "Ghost" Riley/F!Reader Warnings For This Chapter: Canon typical violence, panic attack, my continued attempt to write Soap and Ghost's accents, military inaccuracies, more canon divergence, Soft!Simon. MINORS DNI A/N: I truly cannot believe how sweet you guys were about the first chapter. Thank you so much for being so kind! I apologize for the wait. I was almost done with this chapter when I decided I hated it and scrapped all of it and started over. I also finished another draft of my novel! Busy times. This is definitely more of a slow burn romance and I'm thinking it'll be around 10 or so chapters.
Well, at least you were out of the hospital room. It wasnât far from the hospital room, but the horrendously beige room down the hall had a television and a few chairs you could sink into and a small kitchen that always seemed to be stocked with snacks in neat boxes on the counter. Were they good snacks? Not really. But you werenât about to complain when it was a break from the nutrient dense and flavorless food theyâd been shoveling down your throat the last handful of days.
Coronation Street was playing on the television as you soaked a plain biscuit in your tea. This was probably a breakroom of some sort, cleared out of anything that you could have possibly used to communicate with the outside world and you were pretty sure the blinking light in the corner was a camera to make sure you werenât going to do anything ridiculous. Like climb out a window.
No.
You just wanted out of that stupid room with its uncomfortable bed and terrible pillow and beeping machines.
The biscuit crumbled in half when you tried to remove it and you stared at your tea for a stretched moment as the soap opera continued to drone on. Dammit. You shoved the rest of the biscuit into your mouth and then sipped on the tea for a moment before digging out the remnants of the biscuit with your spoon. Not your proudest moment.
You were pulled from your sad cup of tea and entertainment by the door opening and Soap walking in, arm still in his matching sling.
âWhy am I hearing about ye not taking yer pain killers?â He asked instead of a greeting. You found that Soap did that. He barged right into things. No slow starts for him. It would be endearing if this were any other situation.
And just like you not saying anything to Ghost about your sister and why she wouldnât be found in any intel about you, you wouldnât give Soap a straight answer either. You were not going to take any of those pain killers if you didnât feel like you needed them. You knew⌠Well, that didnât matter right now. âAre they telling you my medical history? I donât think thatâs legal on either side of the pond.â
He frowned. The big Scot frowned and you almost laughed with how it made him look like a puppy. âDonât ye need it? Ye were shot.â
âIâm aware of that. Trust me.â You turned and grabbed at the sleeve of biscuits, knowing it was a blatant change of topic. âThese are awful, by the way.â
Soap snatched them out of your hand and scowled at them. âThese are shite. Whyâd ye do that to yerself?â He then pivoted and rummaged through the cabinets you werenât brave enough to open and then set down a pack of shortbreads in a fancy looking tin which he popped open with one hand (you tried not to be jealous about that particular skill). âThatâll be the only thing going near yer tea.â
The shortbread was delicious and you wordlessly made another cup of tea for yourself and a cup of coffee for Soap. You were prouder than you wanted to admit to hear you guessed correctly when you said he looked like he preferred coffee and prouder still when you dug some out of the cabinet and made it just the way he said he liked it as he settled on the lumpy couch beside you to watch the rest of the episode. He knew what was going on better than you and regaled you with the storylines long since finished and convoluted family ties of the characters. It was nice. Soap wasâŚnice.
He had finished his coffee by the time the episode ended and scooped up your mug on his way toward the breakroomâs tiny kitchenette and set them both in the sink. He turned back toward you, bright blue eyes scanning your face for something. He had a casual set to his shoulders, even with the sling, but you knew the look of a smart man trying to pick his words carefully. Soap honestly reminded you, just a little bit, of a guy you went to highschool with, who looked the part of loveable idiot but eventually went to an ivy league school on a football scholarship. He was currently a doctor, knee deep in cancer research, if those annoying alumni emails had any truth to them.
âJust say what you need to say. Iâm sure I can handle it.â
The corner of Soapâs mouth twitched like he was trying not to smile. âI wanted to let ye know that yer intel was good.â
You just nodded. That would explain why you hadnât seen the other three lately. They had been sent to Kastovia. âThat mean I can go home?â
Soap sighed and your heart shriveled a bit more. âNo, lass. Iâm sorry.â
Someone had left a calendar in the breakroom. You had tried to keep track of the days that had slipped by, but you just wanted to be sure. You counted on your fingers how many days you thought had passed, but the pain killers the first few days after the tunnel had made everything hazy. You worried your bottom lip with the blunt edge of your teeth as you flipped through the next month and dragged your finger down to the day you knew Kirby was due.
Just a few short weeks. Thatâs all you had. You needed to be there. You needed to be back in time. Youâd promised Kirby you would be. Youâd never broken a promise to your younger sister and you didnât want to start now. Those stupid, useless tears stung at your eyes again and blurred the calendar dates. âFuck.â You wiped at your eyes, trying to keep them from falling before anyone saw, before you felt more useless and trapped than you already did.
Another episode of Coronation Street was playing, a hum at the back of your mind, but it started to mutate and grow until it was a screech. You needed to get to Kirby. They had what they needed from you. You would sign anything they wanted, change your name, dye your hair, live off the grid. But you needed to see Kirby.
You promised.
The door opened easily and you strode out into the hallway. Did you know where you were going? Not really but you just needed to leave. You could figure out the rest later. After all, Kirby always said you landed on your feet. It was time you proved her right. You turned down another hall and yelped when a meaty hand clapped on your uninjured shoulder. You turned, tamping down the urge to throw an elbow and snarled as you realized it was only Soap and his ridiculous blue eyes.
âWhatâre ye doing?â
âIâm leaving. I have to go.â Your heart thudded painfully as you turned, slipping out from his grip. The edges of your vision started to blur and you hated that you knew what this meant. It had been years since you felt like thisâbut this situation hadnât exactly been great for your mental health.
Thud.
Thud.
Thud.
Each beat of your heart hurt.
âYe cannae do that, lass. Ye know that.â
âIâm leaving.â You turned again to leave and grunted when he pulled at the back of your shirt. âLet go of me.â
âLass-â
You turned and tugged your shirt free, letting the snarl curl your mouth as your vision continued to tunnel.
Thud.
Thud.
Thud.
âIâm leaving!â
What happened next was not your finest moment but youâd also been through worse. Soap reached for you again and after you pulled out of his grip once more, he lowered his shoulder and ran at you, hauling you up and over. His arm anchored you down, a weight across your back as his shoulder dug into your stomach. You didnât even freeze as he turned, presumably to bring you back to the breakroom. Your arm pushed out of its sling and you wrapped your hands around one of his thighs and let his next step help pull you from his grip. Heat lanced across your shoulder as you wiggled against the grip until you yanked your legs free and kicked them above his head and over your own until your heels hit the ground. And then you were throwing yourself forward and dashing down the hallway. Out. You needed to get out. You needed to leave. Every breath burned a little more and-
The tile was cool against your cheek but Soapâs arms were a heavy firebrand as they banded around your waist. âCalm down. Calm down fer me.â
You thrashed against his hold as he stood but he didnât seem to care and it wasnât like you were a match to those dumb, hulking muscles. But still, your memory was hazy as he dragged you back to the breakroom and shoved a shortbread into your hand.
âNow, Iâll talk to someone. But ye cannae do that. Ye understand?â
By the time Simon arrived back on home soil, theyâd moved her and Soap to a different part of the base. A hall of barracks that had been recently constructed but not yet assigned to a different squadron had been a good place to hide away their injured sergeant and American informant. Laswell had informed Price of the move and then sent along a video in lieu of an explanation.
Simon wasnât entirely sure how many times he watched her claw and wiggle her way out of Johnnyâs grip but Price did eventually take the phone away from him. (But not before Simon sent himself a copy.) She was wily. Strong. Stubborn.
Even when she had tears smeared across her face.
It was easy for Simon to claim one of the rooms as his ownâit had always been better for Simon to be on base anyway. His flat in Manchester never felt like home. Just an expensive place to rest his head when he was ordered to take his mandated leave. Knowing the others were down the hall was more comfortable than any sort of high priced pillow anyway.
The mission had been successful. And a shitshow. The second, and larger, cache of gas in Kastovia had been exactly where her intel had said it would be in a barren steel plant. But the handful of missiles had been an unexpected find. As had the small militia that awaited them. While they had been easily dealt with, one of them managed to set off what Simon could only describe as a failsafe to take out the entire plant and the surrounding area. The gas dissipated quickly but not before it had caused extensive damage. Makarov wanted them dead. And he wanted her dead, too, if the picture one of his men had pinned up beside a map of different caches and routes to take over borders was any indication. It was upside down and some artist had taken it upon themselves to scratch out her eyes and draw an obvious axe buried in her neck. Charming. There were a few smaller pictures beside it but he didnât get a clear look at them.
The explosion meant they didnât have more than the one picture Gaz took of the map and Simonâs lungs burned a bit every time he took a breath. Nik had been quick in the exfil but still cut it close. Too close. And it grated on his every nerve that Makarov hadnât been there. Still in the wind.
Simon had been told to visit the medbay before going to bedâLaswell was supposed to be arriving tomorrow for a debriefâbut he thought that was more of a suggestion than an order. Heâd dropped his bag on the floor and rinsed off before lumbering into the small bed, letting the standard-issue sheets scratch at his skin. It felt like coming home. And he watched the video again, feeling a strange smile push at his mouth.
He could bother Johnny about her ability to get away from him in the morning.
The doctor whose name you couldnât be bothered to remember told you to start physical therapy. And, just your luck, Soap had been told to do the same. If he was wary of you because of your outburst, he didnât show it at all. He would smile at you, eyes crinkling, over his coffee whenever you opened your door at the crack of dawn. A tea would be in his other hands and ready for you. It was a nice routine as more days continued to slip by.
Youâd stretch and grumble about the slowly fading pain in your shoulder and Soap would do the same. At least you didnât need to use the sling anymore. But this was, pathetically, probably the closest youâd had to a friend. Heâd talk and talk and talk. About his mom and sisters up in a small town outside Glasgow. About the dog he had as a kidââBoots was the best dog a boy could have, lass, lemme tell ye.â About anything that seemed to pop into his head as the sun would intermittently peek out from behind the low hanging clouds to splash warmth across the dead grass beneath your sneakers. You counted it as a win that they let you outside. It was behind a fence with razor wire at the top, but a win is a win. Mostly. Maybe they were seeing if they could actually trust you outside those beige walls.
Youâd swallow nails if it meant you could be at Kirbyâs side when she needed you.
One of the more ridiculous exercises the doctor had you and Soap do was passing a yoga ball between one anotherâof course, you had to move your arms a certain way to get the right stretch or whatever, but it all felt a little silly, even with the twinge growing more pronounced with each pass. Hands on top and on bottom, twist so theyâre on the side, hand to Soap. Heâd repeat.
âThis feels very stupid.â
âAye. But theyâre watchinâ so weâd best play nice.â
The yoga ball nearly slipped from your suddenly-slick fingers. âWhat do you mean?â Youâd heard a bit of thudding from the empty room next to yours last night but thought it was a faulty air unit. Was there someone else here?
âThey got back last night. Give âem a chance to settle before they say hello, aye?â Soapâs blue eyes sparked with mirth and you might have shoved the ball back at him a little harder than necessary. He just laughed at you.
You chanced a glance at the rectangular windows cut into the metal building, close to the sharp edge of the roof. He was probably just being funny, but now you couldnât fight the feeling of someone watching you. And why did your mind conjure Ghostâs ridiculous mask?
He hadnât said much after you had told him you werenât going to pour your heart out to him. But heâd continued to stare until he and the others left for Kastovia without a word. One guy whoâd found you âmysteriousâ while you were in undergrad thought that he could figure you out and stared, too. Thought that his attempt at a psychology degree would unravel allâŚwell, all of you. He gave up after a couple of months. Ghost didnât seem the type to give up. But that still didnât mean that you were going to tell him anything.
You threw another glance toward the window and the yoga ball hit you in the face.
Simon stared down at the inhaler. This was stupid. The doc had hurriedly explained that being exposed to the gas during the explosion had done a number on Simonâs lungs. At least he wasnât Price whoâd hit his head on his way out and was told heâd had a concussion and also needed the inhaler. Gaz had been the only one whoâd managed to get out mostly unscathed aside from needing a butterfly bandage for a cut over his eye.
His next breath burned and Simon finally shook the damn scrap of plastic and took a puff just as he heard the back door open. He stood and watched Johnny and the woman trudge out into the dead grass, carrying a few bits of equipment, including a yoga ball, craning his head just enough to see them through the high window. And well, if he stood on the small desk chair to watch, who would know?
He couldnât hear them but he watched her throw a few glances toward the window. And then Johnny hit her in the face with the yoga ball. She promptly slingshotted one of the resistance bands at his head in retaliation.
âHeh.â
The debrief later that morning with Laswell had gone as expected: More intel was good. Makarov not being spotted was bad. They needed time to heal. Farah and Alex would investigate possible gas caches just within Urzikstanâs borders.
The picture Gaz managed to grab was helpful and did verify a majority of the intel they had already. But it did mean that Makarovâs network was larger than they had ever thought. One of Laswellâs contacts had enhanced the slightly blurry picture and Simon recognized each of the 141âs faces, pinned to the board, too. They were targets just as much as she was. Small bits of paper stemmed from Price, Soap, and Kyleâs pictures and Simon knew what they represented even without the fancy tech trying to make it clearer. They were hunting for weak spots. Family. Friends.
They needed to leave. Keep low. Hide. Simon hated it. He hated that the others had families on the line and he could do nothing but take a few puffs of his stupid inhaler and wait. These were men whoâd become his brothers-in-arms and their families were at risk. He knew what it was like to lose.
Priceâs hacking cough basically ended the debrief and Laswell said she needed to make some calls, disappearing to another part of the base and Price griped as Kyle urged him to go back to medical. Johnny said he was going to start packing.
Simon walked away as Price continued to grumble and walked down the small hallway toward the bunk rooms andâ
BANG.
Simon paused just for a moment, straining his ears as he pushed further down the hallway. With how the mission had gone, he couldnât rule out that someone had attempted to get onto base and finish the job the gas couldnât. There were security gates and checkpoints, of course. The high fences. And this part of the base was underdeveloped for now. But having a traitor in the midst wasnât something Simon could write off.
âFuck,â came an annoyed voice.
The tension slipped from his shoulders as he pushed open the nearest door.
Sitting in a chair in front of the mirror atop the tiny dresser, she was picking at her stitches with a pair of needle nose pliers. A small pile of the twists sat atop the dresserâapparently sheâd been at this for a while. Simon walked in, watching as she leaned closer to the mirror, trying to see the stitches across her shoulder better as she plucked at them. Sheâd jammed her tongue between her teeth and the strap of her thin top had been tugged down. A book, probably pilfered from the breakroom, was open beside her.
(Simon stared. Just for a little.)
The pliers fell from her hands and bounced off the dresser before hitting the floor. That had been the sound heâd heard.
âNeed a âand?â
She let out what he could only describe as a squeak as she turned toward him, hurling the book at his head as the pliers slipped from her other hand. He caught it without letting loose the laugh he felt growing.
âJesus Christ! How long have you been standing there? Donât you knock?â
âHeard something. Thought something bad âappened.â Not a lie. He tossed the book onto the bed. He watched her mouth curl at the edges and Simon wasnât sure if she was going to yell at him or laugh.
âRight.â She stared at him for a little longer before bending down to grab the pliers again. She settled in front of the mirror again and stared at the remaining stitches. At least the ones she could see. Simon had a clear view of the mess of stitches on her back. Sheâd never reach those.
She stared back at him in the mirror. The grip she had on the pliers was tight and grew tighter when he stepped closer. But he still easily pulled the tool from her hand and then reached down to turn her chair around to face him.
âWhatâre you doing?â She asked as he started to untwist the next stitch.
âHelping.â
âI didnât ask you to do that.â
âDoinâ it anyway.â
Well, fuck.
You could do very little except stare at Ghost as he undid each of the stitches. You werenât stupid enough to tell him to fuck off. What he was doing was nice. You couldnât deny that but why the hell was he doing it? He was even bigger from this angle as he loomed over you. But he was being gentle with you, so gentle. And silent. Maybe it would be better if he talked to you through it all or said anything at all, but he wasâŚquiet.
And so were you.
Until the door opened again and Gaz came in, gun drawn. You had pivoted back toward the door, only for a moment before Ghost let out a short, sharp breath from behind his mask and nudged you back into position. You still managed to see Gaz holster his weapon with a smile on his face, perfect teeth glinting in the low light. âAll good here, LT?â
He grunted but didnât turn to look at his teammate. You chanced a look up at Simon to see him still singularly focused on your stitches. His dark eyes didnât stray from them even though you were sure he could feel you looking at him.
By the time he reached down to turn your chair again, letting him start on your back, you found yourself liking how quiet he was. Small talk had never been your forte and you surmised that it wasnât high on Ghostâs list of skills either.
When his thumb pressed into your spine, covered by the harsh fabric of his gloves, you tried not to shiver as you let him move you so he could see the stitches better. And he removed those, too.
It was when his finger trailed against the new scar on your back, barely a whisper of a touch, that you couldnât stop it. God, you really were pathetic. When he moved the strap of your shirt back up your shoulder, you managed to bite the next one back. âThanks,â you said, the word uneven and warbled. âYou going to help Soap take out his, too?â You werenât sure if you were being sarcastic or not.
The way Ghost tilted his head made you think he wasnât sure, either. âCap did âis already. Looks like shit.â
And you laughed.
The nondescript SUV rocked slightly side to side as it tore down the road. Gaz seemed hellbent on getting wherever you were headed quickly. There had been some good-natured ribbing about not letting Ghost drive. They seemed to like each other, a good camaraderie between them that seemed as easy as breathing. But you guessed that would probably happen in their line of work. Defying death together usually did that. Price, however, did seem at least a little put out about not being the driver.
And you were stuck at the back of the SUV, listening to them talk amongst each other. To his credit, Soap and Gaz both tried to involve you in the conversation. They would ask what you had been doing in London, if youâd ever been outside the city, if your shoulder was giving you trouble. It was nice.
They were still nice.
You didnât really understand why they were trying so hard but you werenât about to ask. Especially not now when you had a black bag over your head. They didnât really trust you but it had been a weird kindness when youâd felt Ghost buckle you in and place a light blanket over your lap before youâd departed. It was probably a silent order to go the fuck to sleep seeing as you hadnât been sleeping well since youâd hastily weened yourself off the most intense pain killers. It didnât help that youâd been shuffled outside right after midnight and told to get in the back of the vehicle without much fanfare. And you knew better than to argue.
You had a bag over your head and were heading to an unknown destination. The power dynamics didnât exactly scream trustworthy. They kept you alive, that was true. But they didnât trust you. Funny.
You leaned your head back against the seat and sighed, the fabric rustled against your mouth. It was a strange feeling. Weirdly comforting, like when youâd push your face into the pillow and scream when you were a child, desperate for an outlet.
âI can see why you like the mask,â you muttered.
âWhot?â
Hm. You said that out loud. Well, too late to take it back now. âI said I see why you like the mask.â
âSheâs bloody insane,â Gaz whispered. But you liked to think he was smiling while he said it.
âMaybe Ghostâll lend ye one of his? Ye two could match.â
There was an answering smack and âoch, what was that for, LT?â before the blanket was adjusted over your lap.
âGo to sleep.â
You smiled beneath the bag. And, knowing you had nothing better to doâŚyou went to sleep with Ghostâs low rumbling echoing in your ears.
