I gotta be honest based on the way I’ve seen it talked about I expected the sarina episode to be way worse
#unless there’s another one but like#obviously it’s a bad relationship but it’s actually. treated that way for once.#like I think given that hes become more and more isolated from his friends following the augment reveal I can see him making a bad decision#upon finding someone who might be like him#but obrien explicitly says ‘this is inappropriate youre her doctor’#and julian himself admits that he acted irresponsibly and pushed way too hard too fast while she was trying to process her new life#so it did actually feel responsibly handled within the confines of this episode#HOWEVER#if we’re talking about it within the broader trend of how Julian’s romantic relationships are handled that’s a very different thing#but just like specifically for this episode based on what I’d heard I thought it was going to be excused way more#ds9 liveblog
