It tends to be Kaeya or even Jean, whenever the Knights of Favonius are too busy to handle something a little too dangerous. Sometimes it’s even Venti, trying to persuade you to convince Diluc to lower the dandelion wine price.

Whoever the person is, they come to you because they know that Diluc has a soft spot for you. If something catches your eye, expect it on your doorstep the following day. He loves to spoil you, to the point in which you have to tell him to stop gifting you things, and that his love is and will always be enough.

And obviously, they know that if someone can convince him of doing something, that someone is you. It’s amusing how the normal situation switches when it comes to you. If Kaeya approaches him and asks for a favor, expect a very angry Diluc rolling his eyes and turning around, completely dismissing him while trying to not make a scene in front of you and the other costumers at the tavern. But, if it’s you who delivers the message, he just sighs and meditates it, eventually giving in. You see him smile slightly once you quickly kiss his cheek and thank him.

To understand this feeling more, he started doing research on couples in Mondstadt. Was he the only one that felt this way at the sight of someone he cherished? While he was doing his research, Klee appeared holding one of her treasures. She wanted to show Albedo her newest creation, but instead she found him staring at some old couple sitting by a fountain. Love, such a strange concept. He read about it, and now that Klee mentioned it, he realized that it made sense. He felt funny every time he managed to make you smile or laugh, and even more when he saw the blush on your face after complimenting you. He realized that the “funny” feeling happened because he loves you. He loves when you visit him, he loves when you ask him questions about his research and when you offer to help him. He loves you.

He immediately started searching for you, he felt the sudden urge to see and tell you about this discovery. Once he found you, he couldn’t help the smile that appeared on his face. Since he has to go away for weeks due to his line of work, he wants to spoil you so you don’t forget him. Not that you could anyways, you always thought of him and even prayed for his safe return. When he comes back, expect little souvenirs from his travels and stories he may or may not exaggerate a tiny bit.

His line of work is dangerous, and you know that. There are times in which you’re exploring some ruins with him and treasure hoarders appear. In those cases he asks you to close your eyes, and only open them when he tells you to. Under no circumstance he wants you to witness this side of him he tries so much to hide.

Once it’s over, he would reach to you gently and tell you to open your eyes. When you do, the sight in front of you breaks your heart. He was alright, not a single scratch on him, but his face was filled with worry and fear. “I’m sorry” he would say, closing his eyes and taking your hand. “Why are you apologizing?” “I’m a monster” he said, not daring to look at you.

It would take you a few minutes to convince him that he actually is not a monster. Those treasure hoarders appeared out of nowhere, and threatened you. He was just protecting you. “This is what I do all the time, how are you not scared of me?” He asked. "Mine." he chirps, the happiness overwrites the fatigued and tensed muscles of his face  smiling ear to ear as if there were suddenly small hearts in his surroundings when he felt soft kicks on his cheek resting on the spot, "My pretty babies—" he kisses the left side of your stomach, "Mimiko," then onto the right, "and Nanako." using both of his hands to rub your stomach. He just couldn't get enough of touching you, and he was so excited to see the twins in less than a month by now!

"And my other pretty baby." he teases as he grabs a finger full of your cheek to tug gently and to squish. Suguru was dubbed to be quite an intimidating person thanks to his looks. His voice was far from what people imagined yet the lighthearted tone still sent shivers down to anyone's bones like they were cold, clawing fangs about to bite their heads off. How can they be scared of this man? He was nothing but the definition of adorable!

"I know but can you let me go? My cheek is starting to feel numb, Guru." you pouted playfully, only for him to laugh and pat your now reddened cheek. "You're pretty excited to meet them, huh?" rubbing the side of your belly, gazing in amazement that you managed to pull of the pregnancy changes, "I just know you'll be an amazing daddy for these two angels." moving your hand to cup the side of his face, to which he happily melts to and watches you dream on about the soon to be family that's about to come true, "Just like how you're an amazing hubby for me."

It felt like cloud nine to be able to witness and have all of these happen to him. To be able to kneel before the only person he'd bet his entire being on to do anything. The smile you wore still fresh from his memories that felt like the longest dream he's had during those nights of reminiscing— reminiscing memories he hadn't witnessed but had gain a familiar idea and shared the same vision when Satoru ran up to him a cried on that day. A breath of relief and teary, longing eyes, the words uttered out sent chills to his body before he finds himself crying out of joy and remorse.

Still like old times, you look at him as if he was the most precious thing ever given to you. The bitterness that was now brought back to his current reality haunts him. How the world changed so much after those events of whatever timeline that had been— how he's left you rather than to treasure you like you deserved. You were still baffled. It wasn't always the man cried, only at your wedding of course. It left you on babbling on what happened or if you said something. He snaps out of his daze and shakes his head, leaning forward to shut your worries out with a kiss.

"It's nothing, my love. I'm just really sleepy."  wiping away the wetness from his eyes, coming up with the coincidental excuse.  Luckily it wasn't a full out sob and just a few drops. "Don't worry. Why don't we go lay down for a minute? I'll cook dinner in a few." standing up from his position, he then helps you out of the couch. Even when leading you to the bedroom he loves to hold your hand while the other rests on your belly.

His back feels more light now that it was relaxed on the soft mattress. You removed the tied bun over his head before laying down next to him, hearing the appreciative groan finally freeing his long hair. Turning over to his side, you traced a finger on his jaw, drawing his attention further to yours as he nips on the finger playfully.

"I'm really okay, sweetheart." tapping onto your nose lightly, "I'm thinking of how wonderful it would be to tell our little angels the story of how we met. Like you said."

"You are a sap, good sir." slapping his arm with a bit of force, he whines and buries his face on the strands of your hair. Inhaling the fragrant scent of your shampoo, finding a complete serenity on the nostalgic scent and moment.

Like the night he last laid with you on bed before walking out with heavy steps from the apartment he's shares many memories with you.

"I love you." wincing out to block all of the bitter past that came to haunt him. "I love you so much— you have no idea, angel." adjusting his position to hold you. The dire need to feel you more and more just so he can prove his point he knows your past self wouldn't believe. Afraid to make you go through all of that again. Never again, he spits on the horrid images of your pained face and shattered heart. Never again will he allow those to repeat on this second life. The life he should've lived before along with his friends and shared the same goal that was now completed after the fall of evil.

Little does he know of how purposely you walked into that office he's about to get into trouble that day. Little does he know you've done the exact same actions that led him to fall in love with you as the day he's snuck you around the campus of jujutsu tech. Little does he know the day you cried after his love spilled confession for you came back— your Suguru was back. The cliffhanger has finally been written.

"It's bullshit."

Rick's content to watch you pace around your kitchen, a small smile on his face. You had taken his plate before he even finished, ranting as you scraped the rest of his and your dinner into the trash. He learned a long time ago that whenever you got started like this, you tended to occupy your hands without thinking.

"I mean, who do they think they are?" You snap, your back to him now. A rhetorical question; You knew exactly what he was dealing with. It's a wonder to you how he didn't lose his mind every damn mission. Rick leans an elbow on the kitchen table, the other drawing his beer up to his smirking lips.

"Just the job, hon." Rick soothes before he takes a swig. You huff as you scrub at the dishes, your head shaking.

"The least they could do is give you the bonus. Especially after that shit show with the nuclear warheads."

Neither you nor Rick really cared about the money. You brought in a surprisingly steady amount yourself when it came to your bounties. It reflected your skill in a competitive black market. But Rick? He never did his job for the money.

But he knows you're heated over the principle of the thing— The risks he's willing to take versus the recognition he'll never receive.

It's a black ops unit, [Y/n]. They're not gonna put any shit I do in a newsletter, he's told you over and over, amused.

Despite that, Rick never imagined he'd meet someone outside Argus to tell all his secrets to. You knew about the squad, about Waller; Through the trust you shared or perhaps some sort of metahuman powers you haven't told him about yet, Rick was an uncharacteristically open book with you.

He did consider, however, that maybe it was just because he loved seeing you like this; Cocked and loaded and ready to take on even the fucking Wall if you ever got the chance to meet her. Not that he would let you. God help everyone else in the room if the two of you ever clashed.

That, and Rick has learned to keep this part of his life far away from Belle Reve and the task force. The pieces of you that wouldn't fly with any other partner— The traveling the world, the fake identities— It's a relief that he doesn't have to keep tabs on your safety. You're out from anyone's thumb before he can even track you down first half of the time.

Rick is already standing up and heading over to the cabinet where you keep the dishes, setting his bottle down on the counter top. You wipe each plate with heated vigor before shoving them at him as you continue. He places them up high, where you keep the good china (You only ever brought it out when he was around for dinner anyway).

"I'll drive down to that fucking prison, Flag."

"Yeah? You gonna hash it out with the sentries at the front gate?" He replies, already snorting at the idea of it. You purse your lips, shooting him a look, and it only makes him grin wider.

"I'm sure I'll figure something out." Your anger cuts with something diabolical, something way too determined for this joking conversation. Rick arches a brow down at you, crossing his arms over his chest.

"If anyone's gonna get me fired before I ever get killed it would be you, wouldn't it?"

You shrug. The flame has lulled now—Still a simmer in your eyes— But now you're leveling him with that look. The one that's all adoration, mischief, and everything Rick Flag can't quite go long without anymore. Before he can humor the idea any longer, before he can really worry about the two halves of his life butting heads, Rick is unfolding his arms and pulling you into him. You slot comfortably between his parted legs as he leans back on the counter, his chin coming to rest down on the top of your head.

You sigh then, pressing your cheek to his firm chest.

Your work — your world — was always trying to overpower you. Big lug heads the size of Rick or bigger always thought they could brute force you around; You made it your life's work to take their underestimation and shove it up their asses. But not with Rick. You feel yourself relax as his body folds around you. He was nearly twice your bodyweight, but you never felt more equal somehow.

That didn't stop the goosebumps your your skin when he drags his nails softly down your back, of course. You shiver at the way his single, splayed hand nearly covers your entire back.

"What was I saying?" Your catchphrase in the middle of these kinds of rants. You feel Rick's deep chuckle against your ear.

"You were gettin' over it."

You yelp when his muscular arms scoop you up by the waist, tossing you easily over his shoulder.

"Richard Flag!" You protest. You bite back a grin as you lean down over his back to slap the seat of his pants.

"Yes, Ma'am?" His tone is far too innocent. He returns the gesture, slapping the back of your thigh playfully. It takes him just a few of those long strides across your apartment to the bedroom.

Rick throws you down onto the bed, hardly giving you any time to laugh before he's taking his tight shirt off with one, swift tug and making his way up your body. He laughs when you take his shirt from him and give it a little twirl around your head.

He lays down over you, framing your smaller form with his. You hum, excited and still fired up from earlier; Rick is only kissing your neck for a moment before you're slipping out from under his body and using his own weight to flip him over. You bracket your thighs around his head, grinning down at him.

"Jesus Christ." He breathes, gripping both your legs through your jeans. He's aiming the kind of smile up at you that makes your knees weak— Not that you weren't already having a seat.

As much as you didn't mean your stupid threat of breaking your way into Argus's base and wreaking havoc on the assholes in charge, you still meant every word of your devotion. You lean down, threading your fingers through his soft hair. What wouldn't you do for him?

"Hope you don't have a job tonight, baby." He murmurs, kissing the inside of your thigh. He does it again, his eyes falling closed as he nosed against the fabric. "Have a feeling I'm gonna be showin' you how much I've missed you all night."

Afterwards— after he's brought you over the edge again and again as promised— you grin to yourself, breathless, when he finally falls on top of you, exhausted. You're content to sigh into the sheets like that for awhile, the sound of your shared breathing the only thing left in the room.

Eventually, you grumble as Rick presses his face into the pillow above you, his weight pinning you to the mattress heftily.

"Rick." You mutter, voice muffled. When he doesn't stir, you reach around to slap at his bare waist. "You're still in me, dummy."

"Yeah?" He says, like he doesn't fucking love the warm, tight feeling of you around him, even now. You huff again, rolling your eyes. At this rate you’ll need another round.

But you're too in love with the way he's relaxing behind you, his muscles physically letting go of all the tension you know he carries with him everywhere he goes. Your own eyes flutter after awhile; You drift off for a moment or two in the soft silence.

Rick finally moves. You startle, bemused when he wraps his arms around you and tilts you both over so that he can keep holding you, keep his face nestled in the locks of hair at the back of your head. You wrap your arms around Ricks' in return.

"You want me to get up?" He asks you eventually, sleepily. You grip him tighter, nuzzling back against his body firmly.

"You're not going anywhere tonight."

So, when she decides to date one of the scouts, this is where he gets worried and concerned, he starts to watch every move of the person she is dating and will interrogate them, he won't care if its someone he knows, he will make sure they have no bad intentions with his little sister and he would give them his cold and strict glare 24/7 (also he would tease her a lot while she is dating them-).

When Levi found out his little sister was dating Eren, he was quite shocked to be honest and he had to go find her and actually confirm and hear it from her. “Are you actually dating that Kid? Fucking Yeager really?” He would say as he crossed his arms and was giving his little sister one of his looks, where it was him wanting answers from her now.

“W-What about it?” She said nervously, and looked away. ‘Shit, how did he find out?’ She would wonder as she looked around to find an escape route. She would always do that when she knows her big brother is going to give her one of those long lectures. “You are not going anywhere young lady. You are gonna stay here and tell me how the fuck you both started to date.” Now she is trapped.

When Eren found out that the person he was dating is Levi’s little sister, he was scared as fuck. He was worried that Levi would appear out of nowhere and beat him since he is dating his little sister. “Oh my god, Is your big brother going to kill me cause I am dating you?!” He would say and as he held on both of your shoulders and his eyes would wide, he was actually nervous and scared. “No, Don't worry. As long as you are with me, you are fine! He wont dare lay a finger on you.”

Then Levi appeared out of nowhere, “Oh hell yea I will if you mess with my sister, and make a one meter distance from her shithead. I don't want her to catch your germs.”

His little sister then would turn at him and give him a glare, “Levi, stop it.” She would say and give out a long sigh. 

Whenever his little sister comes back from a date with Eren, she would go see her big brother Levi to see how he is doing and he would say to her with a glare. “You were with him, Hm? You’re filthy now, go shower.” His sister would give out a long sigh and tsk at him while leaving his office, she knows Levi says that on purpose cause he started to tease her more ever since she started dating Eren!

Levi would watch and look after his little sister even more when she started dating Eren, because he found him a bit fishy. “Hey, you sure about this?” He would say one evening as they were drinking tea and he sounded serious, Levi would then give her a big brother/sibling talk.

Eren would always wait for you either when you are cleaning, training or in a meeting and Levi would think he was stalking you and following you at first. “What do u think u are doing following MY little sister? You are so fucked kid.” Levi would say approaching Eren, and he was ready to beat him up again. “LEVI WAIT- that’s the guy I am dating now!” Levi would suddenly stop, and turn around with a surprised expression looking at his little sister “Seriously...”

Once, just once, Eren made Levi’s little sister tear up and Levi did not leave him at all that day and was looking for him. He ruined his life that day. Levi’s little sister teared up cause she got ready to go out with Eren, but Eren somehow forgot and stood her out!  Would be scared to make her cry again, cause he doesn’t want to get beaten up by Levi.

She would tease Eren sometimes. Like, “Hey Eren can you do this for me now?”. “No I need to train, not now!”  he would say and he was approaching the training area, “Hmm…okay I’ll go ask Levi instead” Eren stopped from his tracks, and turned around quickly towards her. “W-WAIT! Actually I can make some time.” This would always make her giggle.

Levi would actually find Eren annoying once Eren started to date Levi’s little sister. “I think he has a thing towards us.” Levi would say to his sister as they both looked outside from his office window and looking at Eren who was searching for Levi and his little sister. “He chases around me, and is dating you, why can’t he just leave us alone...Ugh”.

They know Levi worries a lot about his little sister, as she is the only one left who is family to him. So Hanji would update Levi about his little sister from time to time, especially after a date. “Heyyy Levi! Just letting you know that she is doing well and finished her work early today!” Hanji would say cheerfully, and Levi just knows that they had just seen his little sister. But, this gives him a relief to know at least that she is doing well as he is quite busy sometimes to check on her.

Would help his little sister to convince her brother with things. “Don’t worry, I can talk to Levi for you babe!”. Hanji would say with a big smile and a light blush would appear in their cheeks, they want her to depend on Hanji.

“Oi, Don’t send Hanji to me again. I cant even shut them up now ever since you are going out with them.” Levi would say as he gave out a long sigh, defeated by Hanji as he let them win with whatever they were trying to convince him. Hanji would not give up and wants to impress his little sister!

Hanji would be good at lying to help Levi’s little sister out just incase she tried to skip something such as cleaning or some training lessons, and Levi would actually fall for it sometimes.

His little sister and Hanji are loud and squeal a lot, it would Levi go mad and yell out at the both of them to shut up, but Hanji would think he is joining their squeals. “Oh my god....Levi finally joined us!” But, his little sister would go to Hanji and whisper to them “Um…I think he’s mad.”

Literally anything his little sister asks Hanji to do something, they get so happy and hyped up. And Levi sees that and actually finds them both cute, he would also appreciate how Hanji is willing to do anything for her and that makes him glad.

If he sees his little sister really down one day, he would see Hanji trying their best to boost her energy up, and Levi would really admire that about Hanji, making his lil sis happy <3

Levi would definitely intimidate Jean, just to test him (He lowkey thought Jean was a fuckboy) and this would piss his pants.

Whenever Levi passes by his little sister and Jean. Jean would salute to him quickly like an idiot. And to just rub it on his face so Levi can scare him more, Levi would say “Jean, You are not causing trouble to my little sister right?”.

Jean: “N-No Captain!!”

Levi: “Hm, better be.”

“Yo....Your brother is scary. Does he hate me?!” Jean would say, full of concern in his tone as they both looked at Levi who was giving out orders for everyone. “Um...You kinda annoy him to be honest.” She would say as Jean looked down with a sad look. “B-But don't worry! He’s just like that in the beginning.”

Jean can’t believe the sweet, cool and lovely girl he is dating is related to Levi. He had to even make sure and see if their last names matched!

“I-Is your brother here today??” Jean would say to her as he looked around, making sure he wasn't near as they were both alone in the stable. He wanted to give a kiss to her cheeks but he was scared as hell if Levi appeared out of nowhere. “It’s either now or never Kirstein.” 

Jean would try to do more tasks and try and to impress Levi just a bit. He would show him his ODM gear skills, and the only thing he got from Levi is saying “You’re an idiot.” and he would give him a stoic expression and walk away. “Huh..” Jean said as he was left all alone in the training area. Although, Levi did appreciate his hard work.

Levi would seem to like Jean later on as he was observing how he was treating his little sister and it would be with respect, love and even respecting her boundaries and Levi found the guy good, but won’t admit it.

Finds it amusing how he gets a small gift for Levi’s little sister every time whenever he went out to town, “Okay, he got taste.”

He also likes Jean because he found out he is hygienic and clean, and how he always presents himself clean and tidy, with a nice outfit every time he goes on a date with his sister during the weekend. “She’s in her bedroom, she will come for you soon.” Levi would say as he opened the door for Jean to enter their small house and Jean would stand like a stickman, too afraid to do anything that would upset Levi. “Hey brat, are you alright?”. It lowkey made Levi chuckle, and Jean thought this was it for him when he heard his small laugh.

Levi got now, two idiots to deal with. His sister and Connie, who would always bother him with stuff and their stupid games they keep telling Levi to join.

They actually do a lot of pranks on Levi, most of it is Connie’s idea and Levi’s little sister would agree with them and try to do it. But if they get caught, Connie would take the blame and when he does that and Levi sees how he would never bring his sister involved he would just let it slide.

Levi actually likes him, because he makes his little sister laugh a lot with his jokes, and Connie always tries his best to make sure he does that at least once everyday. He would say the most random things and she would laugh and Levi would look at her and think ‘That was not even funny...But, at least she is laughing.’ 

She would get in trouble sometimes with Connie, and if Levi found out, Connie would immediately defend you and just babble about things that did not even make sense. This would make Levi be so confused and even get lost in track to what he was even saying at the beginning. His little sister would try and hold back her laughter. Levi would just sit there, give up with the conversation and say “You know what, Forget it. You both are dismissed.” After they left, Connie would say with a big smile “See! I told you I could convince him!” “Connie...You weren’t even- Nevermind.”

When Levi walks in the hallway and hears someone laughing, he would know it’s Connie making his sister laugh and he actually smiles about it. He would later come in after they finished laughing and talking (giving them some time) and Levi would say “Oi, idiots. Focus on your work.”

Such a mature boy when he dates Levi’s little sister, and to be honest Levi would have no problem with him dating his little sister.

He’s also a softie and always makes sure he gives what his girl wants, and Levi appreciates that how he is willing to do his best for his little sister only.

Levi can tell before they were dating how Armin would always look at Levi’s little sister, admiring her beauty and character and Levi would think to himself ‘This kid is so lovestruck’

Levi would go to his sister later on and let her know that someone is interested in her, “Who is it!” She would say blushing and looking at Levi, waiting for a response. “Hm...You will find out soon. I think he will ask you out.” Levi would say as he flipped through the papers he had. “Oh come on tell me big bro!!!” Levi liked teasing his sister and he would then say “Okay...I will tell you if you bring me some tea.” And, even after she does that Levi wouldn’t say it and she would want to beat him up.

During missions, he trusts Armin to be with his little sister since he knows he will protect her and have her back while he is away.

Armin wants to prove to Levi that he is capable of taking care of his little sister too! And he would risk his life for her, Levi knowing that would go up to Armin and say “That’s nice and all, but use your brain and don’t die. Besides...that would make my little sister sad and I wont forgive you if you do that.” That was the only time Levi was real and showed his way of trust to Armin, and that made him happy.

When Levi goes to the library, he would spot his little sister with Armin being all lovey dovey as he wanted to go and grab a book. “Tch, what do you think you both are doing?” Levi had no idea that they were actually on a date and both of them were blushing and were shy. But, he lowkey found that adorable. Later on, his sister would yell at him at how he ruined her date and he would say “Yeah yeah....Sorry.”

a few reasons that range from: gives power/comfort over their trauma to lets them release emotions that otherwise have no outlet.

beyond that is that some people don’t have the resources or support system needed to cope in other ways. all they may have is a pen and paper or a laptop. they may not live in a home where they were believed, they may still be trapped with their abuser, or they may just plain not be able to afford therapy.

but do you know what the fun thing is? plenty of these people who choose to cope in this way are advised by their therapists to do it. like myself.

i used to write in little notebooks as a child -- really dark, foul shit and i didn’t understand why i did it. i talked to my therapist and i was told it’s a great outlet! i have to say writing is probably one of the top reasons i managed to get to the space i am in today.

when i learned the wonders of the internet growing up, i also sought out to READ the content. of course, it was very hard to find because of people like you who do nothing but shame it simply because of the real world values the crimes possess and for some reason refuse to see it in a fictional, helpful way.

it’s a very real and very valid coping mechanism: both reading and writing are incredibly beneficial.

this outlet also helps people just the same as it can hurt people. i don’t know who or what you think you’re doing but survivors who are triggered by the content of a darker nature WILL NOT CLICK ON IT TO READ IT. why are you acting like survivors and victims are brainless, mindless idiots who will read something clearly labeled with their triggers as if there’s some invisible force dictating them too?

and who are you? a highschool student? a college student? a therapist? what right gives you, a random person on the internet, to dictate something that has been ADVISED and PROVEN to help with coping to trauma to deem it wrong?

im gonna go ahead and say your morality. nothing beyond that.

Not to continue this vent matter, i also dislike it when strangers vent to me but to those who do, i have something to say to y’all. You guys don’t know inky beyond this blog, and whatever measly interaction u have had. And trauma-dumping onto unsuspecting ppl is rly not good bc you don’t know their triggers, you can whoever you’re trauma-dumping to have a bad mental reaction to it.

But if u guys still feel like you need to let out your feelings and you have nowhere to talk to, make a reddit acc and vent in /r/offmychest or /r/trueoffmychest. They’re places that you can genuinely vent to and have ppl support u and not accidentally trigger someone whilst ur at it. It’s that easy.

I had made and deleted a vent post about family issues and then get an ask about family issues, while im already not doing well, with no question of if i was okay to vent to first

Also, it just reminds me of back whenever in high school, a really bad time for everyone. And whenever I was slowly getting ahold of myself, one of my "friends" basically said shit like Oh i Did A Thing and would send me a picture of their self harm marks. No heads up, no warnings, no asking if I was okay to vent to.

Of course, that would make me relapse, make me miserable and that led to them being miserable because their usual therapist friend wasnt up to making them feel better.

Its a slippery slope and there a certain topics i will need a heads up to be vented to about, or im fucked too. Self harm, eating disorders, sexual abuse, toxic family members, homophobia and transphobia and ableism. Especially child sexual abuse.

But no, if they're feeling bad, they need to be taken care of. They will preach about how important mental health is but will not care about anyone else's on their way to vent.

Sometimes its an accident, like one of my friend's roommates casually telling a story about something that happened between her and her cousin and I need 5 minutes upstairs to cry before going back down, but it wasn't her fault. Nor was it my roommate's fault who needed to talk to me about her recent experience and my friend was over who also went through the experience, and got triggered and needing some time in the bathroom to calm down. That was on me, someone who knew what both of these women had been through and didn't think to take the discussion with my room mate elsewhere or warn my friend. Because i wanted neither in pain but it didn't matter because i didnt think to make the environment safe for two people i loved.

But someone sending anon venting on the internet doesn't know me, doesn't love me or know my triggers. But who cares, right?

Who cares, because as long as their situation sucks, it means they're the one doing the worse at any given time and needs to be heard out.

I know they probably didn't mean it that way, that they just needed an ear, but ffs, sending that to me after i was already on the edge of my tether and miserable and not in a good place. They didn't care to check and so I spiraled.

I dont care that I didn't respond in a way that soothed them and made them feel better. Yes, i am sorry they're going through that, but I am not ashamed nor do i feel bad for setting some fucking boundaries, even if i was angry.
