After two arduous weeks (Aug 1st - Aug 15th) the Sun cold porcelain figure is COMPLETE! DONE! FINISHED! HE IS HERE IN ALL HIS GLORY

Its been a long (and at times painful) process considering the time it took for all the stuff to dry and for me to have free time to finish this project, but now the silly little jester is in my hands and he looks SO CUTE AND COOL!! HE EVEN HAS A HOOK

Thanks everyone for hyping me up and keeping me motivated during this <3 It literally meant a ton and helped me keep working on this bonkus shit

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PROCESS!

Q: What materials did you use for this?

A: White Cold Porcelain, Hot Glue, super glue, pencils, pliers, paper clips, scissors, paint, all purpose varnish, paintbrushes, metalic pens

Q: How long did it take to make him?

A: Roughly two weeks

Q: Are you going to make moon too?

A: yes but it will take a while

A: trust me, I know. Ive been staring at his model for roughly a whole week and mentally rotating him in my brain , so if something is missing its cuz i was either having a hard time making it or cuz I took creative liberties lmao

Q: How long did it take for the stuff to dry?

A: The cold porcelain abt 3 ish days; Paint took 1 day and the varnish also a day (as it states in the bottle)

FINAL NOTES:

Yes, you can use colored cold porcelain instead of painting it! It's just easier for me to paint it over

- For the love of god, be careful when applying the varnish, that shit is bad for your health! read the instructions, do it in a ventilated area, and NEVER put it too close to your face, or u might get some not so good side effects ( like yer eyes burning)

No, i dont intend on selling him anytime soon sorry ( this was asked before regarding some other cold porcelain thing I did, so I just thought i would add it here)

- If u dont wanna spend too much money on the colors u can just buy some Yellow, Cyan, Magenta, Black and White (CMYK) along with some skin tones; u can basically make any color from those

- I used two of Sun's main poses in the game as inspo for making this

- His faceplate is supposed to spin but since it keeps falling off I decided to glue it

-At first, you had 0 idea what to expect. Your boyfriend got sent a letter inviting them to a mysterious manor and he had to go alone. You were worried for him, considering the events of his past, but you let him on his way.

-It only took a few weeks for you to recieve a letter similar to what Norton recieved — from the same manor. It mostly contained that you are invited to the manor for reasons the writer rather not disclose trough a letter.

-Considering this was the same letter that made Norton leave, you immedieatly grabbed your suitcase and started to pack a few clothing items you deemed fit.

-The ride towards the manner was long —making you nervous by every second that passed. Would you see Norton again? Did something happen to him? What is it that this mysterious person wanted to talk with you about? Aswell as with a few others who would be present?

-When you finally arrived infront of the manor, you took a deep breath. Not too sure if you were ready to hear or see what was going on inside said manor. You walked up to the door and knocked, waiting for a few seconds (Which felt like hours in your point of view) and the door opened.

-A butler opened the door. Not saying anything aside your name as a question. Wanting to confirm it was actually you.

-You nod and give the old-looking man your invite, to which he nodded and let you inside. A maid bowing infront of you slightly as a greeting, before saying that she'll be your guide, and that you were free to ask questions whenever you wanted.

-You felt like you wanted to burst into words, you had so many questions. But anxiety has sewn your mouth shut, unable to mutter a single word besides an affirmation to the maid and following her to your temporary residence.

-The tour tooj atleast 1,5 hours in your opinion. The whole manor was... giant, in your words. You asked questions here and there to the maid, to which she either responded... or not. Which made your gut feel weird, but you shrugged it off.

-You already met a few people already. Like Mr. Kreiburg...But you wouldn't actually call it a meeting. As you reached out your hand and tried to introduce yourself, he only picked up his cane and moved your hand away from him before walking past you, his face only being... sour. Quite the asshole, you thought.

-Ms. Plinius, the entomologist you saw outside the small garden of the manor. For being such a big house, the garden was for sure small to your standards. But Ms. Plinius atleast didn't... shrug you off first chance she got. She simply introduced her and went back to examining... or atleast that's what you thought she was doing with the bees.

-You also met Orpheus. He was nice. He actually conversed with you for a bit. You found out that he was a writer of some kind, and that he's mostly at the manor because of this.

-You also met Ms. DeRoss. Or how she preferred — Alice. She was also nice. She conversed with you for a bit aswell. She was a journalist, that's what you found out about her.

-As you continued to walk around the manor, trying to see if there was anyone else, you had no luck. When you peeked inside the last room and you didn’t see anyone, you sighed.

-Wasn't Norton invited here? Why isn't he here then? You were confused. And mostly scared for your lover.

-You decided to shrug it off. You were already tired from all that travelling you did during the day, the meetings —Good or bad—, the tour.

-You ate dinner with the invited people who... participated in the dinner, because Mr. Kreiburg... was missing. As it seemed like it was a common occurance for him to not attend, he usually asked his food to be brough to his room appearently.

-After you were done, you said your good night's to everyone and went to your room. Your luggage being next to the small space next to the bed, as you picked it up and placed it on the table, rummaging trough it for your nightly wear.

-When you found it, you tried to change as quickly as possible to be able to get more rest that your body and consciousness craved at this point.

-Tomorrow morning, you were woken up by a sharp knock on your door. The person on the other side for sure knew how to wake someone up... You called out a 'come in' in a sleepy tone stretching as your body popped here and there from the movement.

-The butler from before came in. He informed you that breakfast would be starting soon, and that you should probably gather yourself together for the day. You yawned and nodded in response. The butler soon walked out when he saw your nod — giving you your privacy.

-You stood up, going to the bathroom to wash your face. After that, you went to your luggage still on the table, opened, and picked out your next outfit for the day.

-You opened the door and walked out, closing it behind you as you saw someone with black hair and a... hat of some kind walk down the stairs? It was... a green or grey. You couldn't really tell from how fast they rushed down the stairs.

-You shrugged it off, walking downstairs in your own pace and walking to the dining table.

-When you arrived, you looked around. Alice, Ms. Plinius, Orpheus... and Norton?

-So he was actually here! Your heart felt like it could burst open from happiness any second now. You wanted to scream in happiness, but no. You couldn't. You were with people who were technically still strangers.

-Norton did notice and recognize you too. His reaction simply being his eyes widening than narrowing to his usual look. He always had a better poker face than you — that you both knew.

-But for some reason, there was no space set in the table next to Norton... So you simply put your fingers on the satin that was under the plate, and pulled it infront of the chair next to Norton, sitting down beside him.

-You took your food and while you did, everyone besides Norton stared at you weirdly for a bit. Why did you... sit next to Norton? They barely managed to get his name out of him (which was actually given by the butler) but you sit next to him? The most anti-social person besides Kreiburg?

-They were confused to say the least. But... hey. You do you. They guess.

-While everyone was eating, talking, Alice noticed that Norton was... actually talking to you? Sure, she couldn't hear what you two were conversing about, but Norton was definitely going on and on about something.

-Did you two know eachother? Probably. No. Most definitely. Norton hasn't spoken a single word to anyone, yet he is actively talking to you. You two definitely knew eachother from somewhere.

-Alice looked over to Orpheus as he was talking to Ms. Plinius, slightly nudging him with her elbow and she signalled to the pair of you with her eyes.

-Orpheus kept talking to Ms. Plinius, making an act of as if they weren't watching the two of you, while he glanced at the both of you from time to time. Nobody could tell, but Ms. Plinius took the hint aswell and noticed the same thing as Orpheus and Alice.

-It was as if the two of you were friendly with eachother. Maybe even more.

-But they couldn't do much at the moment... they might ask you two... or more specifically you of your relationship with him later.

for those interested: the basic story of the comic would be like. so that ham guy (pictured and labeled above) hires viv and scorch’s merc company (eddie would also be here in this hypothetical comic) for like 900K pixels because he goes to this mostly-water-planet to catch a highly sought after and rare fish, but it’s recommended that to catch it you have at least like. 5 people at the BARE minimum, and he only has two other people already. (i also had the idea of shrike and beebs being there too?? sorta like. you hired two merc companies?? is that allowed??? or something. but they still do it bc a) ham goes like “well the more the merrier!” or something because to catch this fish? it really is, and b) its for 900K for both companies. how? the fish would end up being around 2.7 million so it just gets split up among the 3 parties involved 👍)

i find a lot of people relate to not forming crushes on other irl people, but finding themselves forming crushes on romantic characters. i haven't had a crush on a real person, as far as i can tell, in my entire life, but i do develop crushes on fictional characters as well. irl, usually the type of feeling i get is "i want to be close to this person, be there for them, help them, and make them happy". it's definitely the desire to partner, but with virtually no romantic feelings whatsoever.

it's strange because i find that i can enjoy romantic relationships as long as the other person understands that i don't really get those types of feelings. like i'm okay if someone is in romantic love with me, i just want folks to respect that i personally cannot feel that specific type of love and recognize that it doesn't hurt anyone that i experience love differently (or not at all). i still would care for this person and be there for them, even if i'm not the world's biggest fan of kissing or cuddling or romantic gestures

Hey! Thanks for reaching out! It’s always cool to find others in Ontario. There are a few of us around 😁

Getting started is always going to be the most difficult. A lot of the events are private/vetted so it’s a bit of a process to put yourself out there and start to meet people. Probably your best bet is to try to find a munch in your area (a munch is a casual hangout in a vanilla setting like a bar or restaurant). The ones I know best are in the KW and Guelph area but I know there are others as well. Fetlife is probably your best bet for finding these, or feel free to DM me and I can send you details! I might even see you there 😊

There are also bigger tickle gatherings in the USA. NEST is the big one that happens over a weekend in May near the Philadelphia area. There is also Bella Bash in Columbus Ohio in November and AUNT in Albany New York in February.

There are others but I got to be careful about posting about them publicly. Unfortunately, people who have been banned in the past have been known to try to figure out where they are and show up uninvited.

My best advice for newcomers is to be patient and don’t give up. It’s probably going to take a few tries before you start to make friends and feel more comfortable in these spaces. Most people are friendly and try to welcome newcomers as best they can, but still…it takes time.

And don’t hesitate to reach out with more questions! I can’t always reply in a timely manner, but I do my best to be helpful when I can 😊

Heya, Milk! You got any advice for somebody who wants to start taking commissions but doesnt know where to start? I been drawing for a while (about 10 years), but I never tried selling my art before. It's kinda scary. I don't need a lot of money right now, so it's not urgent, ive just heard people say it's good experience. Is it worth trying at all rn? no worries!! i dont think anyones asked me about this stuff before tbh... im in a similiar boat where i dont really do these out of necessity lol its definitely worth it!! if u thought about it even briefly its worth it to try

its been a hot minute since ive first started taking comms but i guess these would do for starters:

- your following might affect comm interest - i would only get very sporadic ones for the longest time unless i undersold (DO NOT DO THIS GET UR MONEYS WORTH) so dont get discouraged at first is what im saying. get ur pals to promo the announcement posts and put urself out there and eventually someone will get interested

- you can start small and lowkey. if u wanna just dip your toes in the commissions water before doing full blown pieces its absolutely ok to start with doodle or sketch comms. they tend to be cheaper and attract client bases that way anyway - so its a win win! low stakes and you can slowly figure out what works for you

- for the love of god make a TOS. having a document of things that are and arent allowed that u can point at whenever somebody tries to pull a fast one on you is a lifesaver. mines really thorough but i like to cover all the bases

- pretty much at every step where youd think 'going back to fix something after this part would be a pain in the ass' stop and send the progress to ur client and ask if anythings off or needs fixing before you keep going. better safe than sorry. in general be communicative and upfront about any info with ur commissioner - its a nice thing to do and will make both of ur lives easier!

- make sure ur comm post includes clear examples of the kind of art u can offer - this is gonna be the forefront that attracts ppls attention! they should know what theyll be getting

- set up a comm only email or a google form for taking in comms its. much easier to keep track of things this way. actual communication can go somewhere else but its good to have a single place just for the actual initial inquiries etc.

ive been trying to be more active here and coming back with my usual affs and methods for my manifestations or the void, ive been loosing focus to the point where i feel its impossible to reach back again —its not—, and i want to tell you: if you are a person who has entered the void more than twice but for some reason you cant seem to do it again, look for disturbances around you, DON’T blame the 3D. the 3D shouldnt be included. i noticed that having so much pressure in the daily gets me to a state where i overthink and i cant seem to focus in my meditations. if your circumstances seem very tight to the point where you feel drained and feel hopeless, PLEASE do not attempt to enter the void in a time crunch. why you may ask? and the answer is pretty simple: you’re focusing more in your circumstances than the objective behind it all itself. it’s impossible for a person who overthinks and has big doubts to think in a positive way or stop getting distracted at the right very moment. if there’s something you can do in the meantime to help yourself like distracting yourself in the day, going out to make you feel better, reprogramming your subconscious, please do it. its very necessary to have a positive mindset whenever youre planning something, or otherwise how will u be able to accomplish that if you dont believe in yourself and that youre capable? if you have trouble focusing while meditating intending to tap into the void, try to wake up there. its easier, i tell you by my own experience. something wont work out if you force it, when you do things naturally theres a 90% more chance that it will turn out right the way you want, the other 10% are the complications that you oversee yourself in.

zhongchi - the ship that’s ruining my life

disclaimers:

this post is an OPINION and you DO NOT HAVE TO AGREE. if reading about why i dislike zhongchi is going to upset you, maybe give this a pass 

i do not dislike childe OR zhongli. i just think their ship is silly. 

if you are a zhongchi shipper and you choose to read this anyway, this is not written as a personal attack. i said "zhongchi 😒" one too many times and a non-genshin friend said "why do you hate that ship so much" and then i wrote a manifesto 

ive never been involved in real fandom drama and idk how it goes but i would like to remain ignorant and free, pls do not attack me over this i am small and nervous and do not mean any harm 

part 0: the ship 

"who are they and why does this ship exist?" you might ask, if you've never played genshin. on the surface, this is a simple question with a simple answer. the two characters for this ship are in the same place at the same time and their stories overlap heavily. childe is the big bad of zhongli's story arc. (not that zhongli fights him; you, the player character, fights childe.) so they potentially have enemies to lovers, and they are actually friends before some truths come to light and it's revealed they're on "different sides". childe also pays for things for both you (the player character) and zhongli, which people read as caring. [1]

childe/zhongli is the most popular genshin ship on ao3. there are currently 132,000 works on ao3 for genshin impact and 12,735 of those have the ship tag childe/zhongli. that's only 10% of the all existing works, but the second largest ship tag has only 6,600 works, which is half as many. 

relevant as an influencing factor is another popular ship early on in genshin's inception. that other ship was the first two hot male characters to have tension and an overlapping storyline, but they turn out to be "related" and a large part of the fandom collectively dropped them like a hot potato. but these fans were already in the fandom, already playing genshin, and they needed someone to ship. so they collectively jumped over to the SECOND set of two hot male characters with perceived tension and an overlapping storyline, i.e. zhongli and childe. the story containing zhongli and childe is 1) permanent canon content and 2) presented relatively early to the player, so zhongchi as a ship is more accessible than other popular ships that don't show up for 50+ hours [2] of gameplay.

furthermore, neither childe or zhongli have many meaningful interactions with other characters, and both characters were very popular upon launch. their initial popularity caused an epidemic, and a subsequent over-saturation of the ship on ao3. [3]

part 1: the characters

zhongli is a retired ex-god who faked his own death so he could have a break and go play at being human in the most mundane way possible. he's spiritually and emotionally an old man. he watches operas and drinks tea, has very expensive taste but no money, and works the front desk at a funeral parlor. he's thousands of years old and not entirely human (more on that later). [4]

childe is in his 20s and an affable general in the evil army. at 14 childe fell through a hole into genshin hell and lived there for a few months and emerged Changed. he can also turn into a demon now, just as a fun side note. upon getting him back, his parents found him to be a very scary menace and they quickly enrolled him in the military. he is the youngest ever person to be made general in the evil army, but this is less due to him being driven by ambition and more being a violent gremlin who couldn't be controlled and who beat up everyone in his path. 

in his spare time, childe gets into unwinnable fights and pushes himself to the limit just so he can feel something. he's utilitarian, having grown up poor, and when you ask about his least favorite food he tells you that being picky about food is a bad thing and you should cut that out. he "has money" but it's not his money, it's his government's money. the budget for his evil task is very, very high, and he uses it for mission things though he tends to be pretty loose about what that includes. his mission budget shouldn't matter, but will unfortunately come up later. 

childe is diametrically opposed to zhongli and zhongli's city; or he WOULD be but childe is too friendly and zhongli secretly has a deal with childe's boss, paying them to do the evil thing so he can retire in peace. this is a slight betrayal to childe but when it comes to light he isnt upset at zhongli, he's upset at his coworker for being the literal worst. childe is still seen around fantasy china after he tries to destroy it with a meteor[5], and only the townspeople seem to have any hard feelings. zhongli and childe are not canonically depicted as having any hard feelings. 

part 2: "making it work"

past the superficial reasons listed in part 0, zhongchi makes no sense to me as a pairing. zhongli is a boring old man and childe barely seems to consider people anything more than NPCs unless they end up having fighting prowess, in which case he tries to fight them and then (if they don't die) considers them friends. 

childe is dynamic, always striving to be better, stronger, faster[6]; childe is an adrenaline addict. zhongli is static and intends to stay that way. 

the characters have undergone some personality changes to make them fit together better. 

zhongli is part dragon(?) so people give him an obsession for pretty things and a massive possessive streak. since he's "broke", childe becomes a sugar daddy type in many works. zhongli is also almost exclusively on top in sexual situations, because duh, old, powerful dragon. [7]

childe couldn't possibly be in a position of power when he's with a older, more powerful male, so he becomes very submissive and swoon-y and teenage girl. the betrayal hurt him *ever* so deeply and he may never emotionally recover. he canonically has a family whom he loves, so people come down on that hard and say he's a real family man and he wants to have a family of his own and obviously he wants to settle down with zhongli and have zhongli's babies.

part 3: losing sight of canon

the further this ship goes, the further we stray from god. [8] 

childe is now super rich and loves paying for other people's things, especially zhongli's (forgetting that the money he has was in fact part of his mission budget). the tag "battlesexual childe" is a sortable tag on ao3, but the zhongchi part of genshin has all but forgotten childe likes to fight. zhongli is now possessive to a borderline abusive degree, and childe likes being tied down (metaphorically) to his dragon husband (did i mention they're frequently and casually married? this is the erasermic[9] of genshin). 

another side effect of being auto-married by the fandom is that it pushes the domesticity angle of zhongchi. you know, zhongli, an ex GOD OF WAR who COMMITTED GENOCIDE and a childe, a dude so obsessed with fighting that his own family couldnt handle him and shipped him off to the military at 14. them. domestic. what drugs are you on [10]

part 4: dragons 

hey. why did so many people have to latch onto the dragon thing? on a personal note, i do not understand the appeal but have no room to judge. on a cultural note, zhongchi is DOING IT WRONG. 

in canon, zhongli's "dragon form" is based off of chinese dragons[11]. which makes sense, since the place he's from, liyue, is modeled after china. genshin impact is created by mihoyo, a chinese company. 

what im saying is a chinese company writing a chinese game with a character from fantasy china would NOT make this character a western dragon. 

western dragons breathe fire, are very aggressive, collect hoards of gold, and are often depicted as greedy and possessive. eastern dragons not only look different, they're associated with water (rain) rather than fire, they're cultural symbols of prosperity and good luck, and they FOSTER HARMONY. i have exclusively seen zhongli's "dragon personality traits" modeled after western dragons, not eastern ones. like. yeah. i get it. the dragons the english half of the fandom is familiar with are western dragons. maybe they don't even know how eastern, and specifically chinese dragons, are different. but that doesnt make them any less INCORRECT. 

and hey! seeing dragon eggpreg content makes me want to die[12]. there’s so much. i wish there was less much. this also further encourages the feminization of childe which is :\ must we keep returning the gender norms to fictional romantic relationships

part 5: the ripple effect

the zhongchi version of childe has escaped containment[13]. im unhappy about it. i always know it when i see it because childe is an insatiable uwu bottom who would rather have sex than have a street fight. 

because this ship is so hellaciously popular, other childe ships are relatively rare[14]. anywhere you go, if someone is a fan of zhongli or childe, they probably also ship it. i never want to see another piece of zhongchi fanart again and yet, i soldier on. this is my curse. this is my burden. for childe, i must persevere. 

in conclusion,

[7] there are, of course, bottom!zhongli works. the name for this ship is "chili" (dont get me started on the top/bottom dynamic wars within the same pairing, we'll be here all day and i will scream until i pass out). it's more difficult to use ao3 numbers to prove my point here, as i find the tagging of top/bottom dynamics on ao3 to be inconsistent. instead, i will use statistics on zerochan.net. at the time of writing, zerochan has 1,765 images tagged with "zhongchi" and 228 images tagged with "chili". (so, ~90% of the childe/zhongli ship on zerochan is marked as zhongchi, i.e. top!zhongli and bottom!childe.) should i be using only a single data point to definitively say that zhongchi is exponentially more popular than chili? no, i should not; that's what we call bad science. but it illustrates the skew in the dynamics and the clear fandom preference, and this is a rant post not a scientific study. 

[8] to some degree, inaccurate fanonizations involving popular characters in a large fandom is inevitable. i understand this. i do not accept this. 

[9] erasermic (aizawa shouta/yamada hizashi) is a popular fandom auto-married ship from boku no hero academia. im not a fan of erasermic either but at least it's existence hasn't left a permanent stain on the characterizations of either character. 

[10] ok so maybe zhongli could do the domesticity thing given that he's working that mundane human angle, though it would take some effort and learning and guidance. but childe? a house husband? lol. lmao. 

[11] to be specific, he's half-dragon half-qilin but everyone seems to forget the qilin part. this isn't unreasonable, given that my experience is with the english speaking part of the genshin fandom, and qilin isnt really a thing that shows up in english media. one time i was watching a cdrama with a friend and the subtitles said "he has a dragon tattoo!" and she started YELLING and we had to pause the show because it wasnt a gd dragon it was a QILIN and they are VERY DIFFERENT THINGs, and then i got a whole rant about how even a unicorn would be a closer translation than dragon and i had to look up qilin's on wiki to follow along with the rant. and thats how i know what a qilin is.

The Main Argument:

ive always felt theres something no one ever really touched on when it comes to cassidy.

dual process theory asked why a random missing kid would be narratively important enough to be the vengeful spirit, and they concluded that cassidy is the crying child, charlie is the faded text, and michael is the vengeful spirit. all things i agree with, as it helps the narrative feel more cohesive to me.

the larger community asks why michael draws a nightmare animatronic, which is close.

the question i think everyone misses is simple: why does faded ask such specific questions? some of them, like 'what can you see' and 'do you remember your name', are questions that could be asked by a stranger. but then for other questions, faded knows far too much about the crying child.

a stranger would ask "did you have a favorite toy?" but faded asks "was your favorite childhood toy a plastic purple telephone?" (page 23)

a stranger might say "did you ever have a toy you talked to like a person?" but faded asks "does [fredbear] still talk to you?" (page 75)

this clearly implies that faded already knows altered/cc, and is specifically trying to get them to remember who they are. to which cc responds by spelling out the only name they can think of: cassidy.

why would cc, when they remember so little, be able to spell a strangers name? why would mike (who gives multiple numbers)? why would faded put so much emphasis on finding the crying childs name only for cassidy to be theirs?

cassidy cant be a stranger, a random fifth kid. altered/cc and michael clearly already know who cassidy is, and faded knows who cc is. since ccs friend circle is established to be his plushies and his family at best, cassidy cannot be a random kid. and the only unnamed kid in the circle of aftons is cc themself.

'but then whos faded', asks the little strawman of cassidy truthers im propping up to make this last point. why do they write "MY name" on the grave if theyre not cassidy? well, thats easy. if youve seen dual process' theory, you already know the answer. its charlie. but here, little strawman that doesnt believe them, let me provide one last point: page 31.

while its been dismissed by those who dont think the girl is cassidy, which has been the primary argument for importance by the Cassidy Truthers, it IS, definitively, essential. on this page, the puppet is giving a pink, tiered cake with three cherries on top. a cake which, while clearly distinct, bears a striking resemblance to the cakes seen in the happiest day minigame. this logbook picture is the second time the puppet is ever seen giving out cake. hells, the page itself tells you to "reflect on the happiest day of your life" and "write about one specific memory from that day that will make you feel better if you find yourself facing CERTAIN DEATH". it could not BE a more obviously important page. and what i find interesting is that that is the page where faded asks, right in the center, "DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR NAME?" all of this comes together to clearly imply that the puppet is the one asking the question, just like how you ask any birthday kid their name so you can properly wish them their happy birthday.

Hey, Why Isnt This Mentioned In Any Mainline Theories?? (Bonus Segment)

the puppet shows up on a second birthday themed page (page 98), right next to the page where michael brings up the bite. its almost like this motif is important or something.

the first number given is pointed to by a red arrow with "MY NAME" written on it. also, the page is about what prizes you would want to see behind the prize counter. hey, that sounds an awful lot like the puppets prize corner!

yes, faded writes "MY NAME" on a gravestone. a gravestone that mike drew when asked about his future. also, theres 2 graves in the picture whos names we cant see; the 5th child and, again, (presumably) charlie. page 32, for the record

on page 43, faded writes "MY NAME" on a page of childhood toys. page 42 is where they ask CC if the toys look familiar. interestingly, on page 42, the toys are a bike, a doll of a boy, and a phone, much like cc. on page 43, they are a flute, a girl, and a jack in the box. much like, say it with me, the puppet.

on page 79, "MY NAME" appears to be written in red ink, at least on the archive.org copy. its the same font, though, so it may be michael tracing fadeds writing, possibly to ask if cc remembers either of them.

3 of the "MY NAME"s are written near bloodstains. the middle three, in fact, which is a very interesting choice.

mike draws 3 hearts on the page where youre asked to write the names of 5 people you want to see at the end of the day, as well as anyone you recommend for the job. no names are written.

"do you have dreams" with mike responding by drawing a nightmare animatronic is really interesting; it mirrors the shift in who the greater community believes is the protagonist in fnaf 4. i think its also the catalyst, but still.

"do you miss them" is asked on a page about people being stuffed into suits. a page where foxy is shown tearing up while writing, but nothing else is actually written on the page. possibly meaning its a question to michael.

actually. why are they using MICHAELS book to communicate. surely theyre talking to michael as well, it cant be the only paper with text they could possibly use. michael already responded to one question (do you have nightmares) and is implied to be the recipient of another (see above) so. how many of the questions that we think are for cc are actually for michael?

My favorite caitvi fic is called Butterflies (Don’t belong in zoos) an it’s a pop star au. It’s very good, got a drop of angst, overall just amazing. Only warning is it EARNS that explicit rating so uh. Don’t read it in public? Unless you can control your facial expressions :}

The other one I have bookmarked is also very good! It’s called The Threads Of Fate Tangle and Twist. It’s a prison fic and it’s pretty intense but it is worth it I promise. As far as I remember it’s not too bad as far as explicit content but I have a horrid memory so

i don't know shit about the mormon religion but tbh ur posts about it have me thinking about looking into it since ive been on and off looking for a religion that fits me. do you have recommendations on where to start?

alright! so! quick (2 paragraph lol sorry) crash course! the mormon church is more formally known as The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. this is noted bcs i think its important to know that the church Is a branch of christianity!

the main difference between the church and other branches of christianity is that we believe that we have the restored gospel! to elaborate, we believe that during the years christ was gone, his church and doctrine began falling apart - misinterpretation, mistranslation, etc, all playing a role. the power of both the aaronic priesthood and the melchezidic priesthood was lost. sure, we also have the book of mormon (+ the doctrine&covenants and the pearl of great price), but the reason we have those in the first place is because the priesthood was restored to us.

the subtitle of the book of mormon is "another testemant of jesus christ". basically, you know all those times that jerusalem got destroyed in the old testemant? well, one of those times, this guy lehi takes his family and his pals and goes to the american continent! and then the book of mormon chronicles what happened to him and his many descendants, ending when they all... destroyed each other in war. the doctrine&covenants and the pearl of great price are both stuff from the prophets and apostles in the early days of the church! also, joseph smith (the "founder" of the church) did a retranslation of some parts of the bible. pretty neat!

now that thats out of the way, ur question - where to learn more! if there's a mormon church anywhere in your area (which is pretty likely, esp if u live in the usa) then you can reach out to that church and/or any missionaries on the area! u can attend church at a mormon church without being a member, and plenty of ppl do! ppl r very welcoming there! the missionaries can always teach u more! also, if u download the lds gospel library app (or use the library), u have access to all the lds materials! this is the bible, book of mormon, etc, but other stuff too. for example, theres the 3-volume book "saints" which is all about church history! its very detailed but not hard to listen to or read at all, and it focuses on individuals to help paint the story of how the church formed and was built (i love saints if u cant tell)

i love being mormon and wouldnt trade it for anything. however i feel like warning u that at the moment, the church has a bit of a toxic culture regarding queer stuff, and it can be rlly hard to deal with esp as a queer person who genuinely believes in all the true concepts that the church upholds. but! its absolutely not impossible! #queerstake right here on tumblr is a shining example <3

anyway im only one mormon teenager on the internet, so id suggest checking out the gosepl library, talking to missionaries, and even attending a session on sunday to see what its like if u feel like it. also go ahead and look thru the #queerstake and #tumblrstake tags, bcs theres a lot of both rlly good insight and rlly good community there! feel free to reach out to other posters in that tag for more info if this wasn't sufficient ^^ and good luck, anon!!
