A New FC Video！〜Boat Tour Edition, Deadline and Halloween🎃〜

Here are the Same-chan sticker presents for those whose message I read duringthis month's Talk Garden! ︎🦈 I went for a little Halloween vibe~♪ (Today is Halloween 🎃) And I chose these postcards ♡ A goldfish theme🐟💕 Actually, I bought these as a souvenir at a special place I went to with my niece the other day 😊 Since starting my podcast, I've been always looking for nice postcard designs to send to everyone 😂 It's fun to wander around searching for good postcards ~ 🫶 I'll post lots of photos of the place where I bought these goldfish postcards next time 😉 I also added cute goldfish stickers on the envelopes. Crispy here! As I've made more and more roleplay blogs and gained more and more experience in the pokemon irl community, I've learned a few things. For one, I don't really like clogging my blogs with ooc messages. For another, sometimes communicating as the mun is necessary to help things go smoothly. And, most important of all, it's a pain in the butt to repeat the same announcement across 5+ blogs. So, I thought I'd solve all of those problems in one fell swoop by creating this blog! Current arc: Bede is trying his hardest to deny the fact that he has a crush on his best friend. It isn't going well.

@gmax-butterfree - my Galarian bug type gym leader OC, Hemmi. They try their hardest to look cool and appeal to other trainers, but they are really awkward at heart. The blog explores their passion for bug type pokemon and insecurities about being in Galar's minor league.

@pixieprince - my interpretation of Ortega from pokemon SCVI. He's here to speak his mind and deliver the hottest takes this side of the great crater. ...And maybe to be there for his friends, but don't say that part out loud. Current arc: Ortega has recently come into possession of both a Furfrou puppy and a newborn Milcery. Can he handle the responsibility?

@when-lechonk-learn-levitate - my Naranja-Uva student OC who loves all things that oink! Her name is Samrah, and her main concerns are growing up alongside her little brother, determining her path in life, and spreading the love for pig pokemon. Her enthusiasm knows no bounds, and she's itching for a friend to share it with.

Current arc: Samrah's scrambling to gather willing student participants for her to start a Lechonk Fan Club at Naranja-Uva. Maybe she can find some like minded trainers on rotumblr...?

@medicalmystery7 - a faller blog for Medic from Team Fortress 2! Dr. Ludwig has been spat out in the pokemon world by unknown means with no memory to fall back on... just a pocket full of syringes and a Pidove named Archimedes. Honestly, it's not the worst situation he's ever found himself in, and he's making the most of it by applying his ingenuity and general disregard for human decency toward pokemon battles.

Current arc: After being fired from his job at a Nacrene City pokemon center, Medic is hiding from the authorities at an undisclosed location in Unova.

@macrocosmos-social - a Chairman Rose blog meant to compliment @ballonleastadiumofficial. It's meant to allow Rose to answer questions that Bede would never be caught dead answering and shed some light on Bede's upbringing that led him to become the person he is today. Oh yeah, it's also meant to allow me to roleplay being an insufferable jerk. Exploring perspectives like that is fun. Here, Rose has bribed his way into getting internet access from jail and is making it everyone else's problem. He is using an old, failed corporate account designed by a public relations worker for Macro Cosmos long ago. That original creator of the blog, the Rotom in Rose's device, and Oleana may make brief appearances on this blog.

This blog is a villain blog and thus will act in cruel, antagonistic ways. In particular, Rose is noticeably classist and transphobic. He acts this way to blend into the narrative I have in mind for Bede. If this might upset you, please feel free to block! If it sounds interesting, please feel free to interact! I will tag anything I believe people might find upsetting, in particular #tw transphobia, #transphobia, and #transphobia warning.

Coming from an isolated cabin deep in the woods, Bormot is a stubborn, matter of fact, and extremely troubled scientist who mysteriously emerged into the Slumbering Weald after taking a fateful walk through the forest. Now, he is staying as a guest in the home of Emelia, mother of Gloria, Galar's own champion, and trying to wrap his head around both pokemon as a whole and modern human interaction. Emelia and Gloria may rarely make appearances on this blog.

Current arc: Bormot is getting his first pokemon! ...Eventually. Once he fully grasps the concept.

Idia was walking back to his dorm, coming back from his club. He was socially drained and so ready to log into his games and do his dailies. That was until his gaze caught a delicate vase full of beautiful colored flowers. He stared at them, unsure as to why they were outside his dorm room. After contemplating what he should do, he just decided to gently pick it up and bring it into his room.

After placing it on his desk, he just stared blankly at the flowers. He studied the vase, wondering if someone pranked it. He memorized each and every petal, leaf, and stem on each of the flowers. The set-up looked gorgeous, he admitted to himself, but nothing in his mind was making sense. He fixed his posture as he brought his head into his hands, so hold it.

Idia was curious as to why anyone would send him flowers like this. His mind couldn’t wrap around all the possibilities. He thought it was a prank, someone secretly recording him just be completely rejected. Suddenly, his eye’s caught a small tag attached to the vase. He turned it gently and softly read it to himself.

“To…Idia…From Y/n? Huh? Why would Y/n send me these? Couldn’t they have just texted me?”

He sighed and gave up the internal fight on whether he should read the note Y/n had sent him. His hands shook as it gently brushed against the soft petals of the flower. They were so soothing, helping him to read the note Y/n had written. His eyes widen the deeper he read, not knowing how to feel about it. All he felt was his face become warm and his heart beat faster. 

I love you so much, Idia! You’re so amazing and captivating. You have this hidden beauty within you that just has me in a choke hold. I have never felt this intense admiration and love for someone before. You’re so beautiful, and I can’t have asked for anyone better. Nothing in my mind could ever drive me away from you. My love for you rivals the love of the sun and moon! I love you to the moon and back.

Honeysuckle: True Happiness

I could only ever wish for your true happiness and for happiness within our relationship. I can only ever think of your gorgeous smile and your cute giggle. All anxiety just dissipates when I feel your calming aura surround me. You don’t realize how much you make me feel better and how much warmth you give me. You sending him this bouquet sent Idia into a full on pink color, from hair to the tip of his toes. He couldn’t process the fact that someone out there loved him this much. He couldn’t process that someone could feel this much about him, in general. Idia managed to walk to Ramshackle without passing out and knocked on the door. You pulled him into the dorm and softly cuddled him on the couch.

i wanna go back to the old way but i’m drunk instead, with a full ashtray. with a little bit too much to say.

the bass reverberating through the walls makes you dizzy, the world feels like it’s spinning under your feet, and the flashing lights make it difficult for you to focus. the braids are slipping out of the messy bun on your head, laying heavily on the heat of your skin, adding to the heaviness in your heart that was lifted temporarily by the drinks and making it settle heavier than before.

suddenly, the steady pump of music isn’t freeing, it’s suffocating, knocking the wind out of your lungs as you blink hard, your emotions flowing out so quickly that it knocks you off-kilter. the rush of your heart in your throat forces your words to strain, “hey ri, think i’m gonna step out for a second,” then you’re avidly shaking your head at her, pulling her into a hug when she makes a move to follow you out, and the action slightly quells her worries, “no, no, you stay, i just need some air.”

the hesitant nod of her head compels you to send her the best reassuring smile you could manage, your head clouding in a way that makes you panic, needing to get outside quickly. you push your way through the sweaty bodies, your skin crawling in overstimulation as you finally step out, the cold breeze brushing against your skin when you walk to take a seat on a nearby bench.

you bring your hand up to press against the ache in your chest, feeling the oncoming of what you know is a panic attack, and close your eyes as you hold your breath, counting to ten slowly. the haze in your mind doesn’t lift but it settles enough to push you to do something you know you would never dare to do sober.

“…s’thandwa?”

and her voice makes a lump form in your throat, she sounded hesitant, and worried, her shock ringing warning bells in the depth of your spirit. and maybe it’s because you’ve downed a little too many cups of whiskey, or because she carves the edges of your usual strong, independent self, into the soft, open, and vulnerable side of yourself, but you find yourself standing on the defense.

“you piss me off so much, do you know that?” your voice is trembling as you continue, “why can’t i hate you, shuri? i want to lie to you and tell you how much of a fucking ass you are or how much i don’t miss anything about you or how much i don’t fucking think about you,” the harsh words lack bite and conviction as the lump in your throat crawls out of your lips, and your voice is breaking on a sob.

"but i can’t, i can’t because i can’t see past my devotion to you. and i know, i know i could be more creative and tell you poetic lines but i just miss you.”

the line is silent as you sob pathetically, the loud thumping of the club behind you doing little to dampen the sound of your heartbreak and you feel pathetic, after all, you were the one to end things with her. the sound of her letting out a shaky sigh reaches your ears, and you can almost see the anguish that makes itself present on her delicate features, but still, still she manages to speak softly to you, her voice tender and soothing.

“don’t move, okay? i’m on my way.”

the words ground you in a way, the raging pump of your veins quelling, the harsh beat of your heart recognising the object of its affection, but your body still aches in longing. you mutter out a quiet agreement when she prompts you to respond, and time seems to warp in your head as you wait, your eyes stuck on the beads as the call continues silently minus the sounds of shuffling and the gentle hum of shuri’s car.

you’re still staring at the device when you hear the opening of a car door, both through the device and near your seated figure, you don’t look up even as a body, her body steps in front of you. she sighs before crouching before you, her hands moving to rest on your cold thighs before pausing in their journey and opting, rather, to gently pry the beads from your tight shaking grip.

you don’t look at her. even as she tenderly grips your triceps to pull you to stand, nor as she seats you in her car, carefully strapping you in, the car is warm and silent as you look at your hands. the tears silently track down your cheeks as your body trembles from anxiety and the guilt you've been ignoring pushes at the forefront of your mind, taunting you.

she’s driving fast, not that you would notice, aching to get you somewhere safe, to, once again, be that pillar of comfort she was to you. and shuri's hurting, hurting because she knows you're trying, trying to care for her by keeping your distance, but you're still caught up in your permanent emotions, stringing her fragile self along with the dainty hope you spit at her over and over again. and the idea sends shuri into a daze, feeling like she's everywhere but nowhere all at once.

once you reach her apartment, she’s pulling your unresponsive figure through her door and moving to seat you on her messy bed, the action snaps you out of your dissociative state though you still feel like you're floating in the air. your eyes slowly raise to find her shifting through her wardrobe, clearly looking for something to dress you in, and your lips part before you can think, the alcohol in your system giving you courage, “shuri, i…”

you trail off as she tenses, her movements stuttering before her hands tightly clench around the articles of clothing, turning around with an unreadable expression on her face, and coming to stand before you. she reaches her free hand to tenderly grab your hand, pulling you to the bathroom and your legs feel like lead as she places the clothes on the closed toilet before her hands drop to your waist, hesitant like she has been all night, lifting you to sit on her sink where she moves to stand between your legs, reaching for items to clean you off with.

“i’m drunk with a little bit too much to say.”

the bluntness of your voice makes shuri pause in removing the makeup on your face, and for a reason beyond her, your words make her lips twitch in amusement before she continues her actions, throwing the cotton pad away, before she speaks and her voice is so soft and so loving, “you always have too much to say.”

once the words register in your hazy mind, your jaw drops in disbelief and offense, the slow blink you give her coaxes a soft chuckle from her, and the familiarity of the situation makes your stomach sink. her eyes are tender as they sweep over you, trying to cement in her mind that you were okay, safely within her reach, or at least physically within her reach, before she's guiding you off the sink, leaving you to get dressed.

her eyes had dropped to your lips, and she caught herself before she could place a tender peck on your full pout, her mind is reeling as she closes the door behind her, then the tears gather in her eyes as she sighs heavily, looking to the ceiling. her heart is violently clenching in anguish, you were so unfair to her, no matter how regal, or powerful she was, she was still human, and she wondered if you thought about that when you were playing your push-and-pull game with the strings of her heart.

as her hand tiredly slides down her face, she finds herself feeling lost in the middle of her bedroom, standing still like she had no purpose, no reason in the space that was once yours and hers. the door to the ensuite is clicks open and she’s schooling her expression, turning to face your meek figure dressed in her sweatpants and a large plain shirt. she lets her eyes fix on you, the same pain you bestowed upon her heart, lifting in your presence.

there are tears in your eyes as you wrap your arms around yourself, and it makes shuri’s chest ache to see you like this so she slowly steps towards you, knowing how jumpy you get when you’re vulnerable like this, and lifts her arms to wrap around your shoulders as you let out a heart-wrenching sob, one that digs itself into her ribs, freezing the blood in her veins and she wishes she could hate you too.

“i’m sorry, i’m so sorry i hurt you, shuri.” your words are wet and remorseful, your tears staining her sleep shirt as your arms tighten around her waist so hard it makes it difficult for her to breathe, but shuri welcomes the embrace, knowing no pressure compared to the crack of her heart under the weight of your confession. she swallows thickly before responding, the tears blurring her vision as she moves to rest her chin on your head, her voice is shaky, tender, sewn with a deep seed of hurt.

“i know, i know you are, baby.”

her arms tighten around you as the term of endearment makes you sob harder, and she's pulling you closer as she walks toward her bed, her hands soothingly rubbing along your back as she gently deposits you onto her soft sheets. and everything she does to you is so tender, so soft, so gentle that it makes the guilt claw at your aching throat, and your arms tighten around her when she goes to pull away.

“please stay, please.”

the raw desperation in your voice makes shuri still for half a beat, her eyes shutting tightly before she hesitantly shifts to lie beside you, your arms refusing to let her get too far, using your close proximity to gently guide her hand to lay across your waist, then moving your arms to wrap around her shoulders, nuzzling into her neck like a lost puppy.

the room is silent, and shuri’s thinking about how much your love could kill her, how you try to kill her, and her head taunts her with the idea that you knew she would spend her life in the dark to give light to yours, planting seeds of doubts in her mind. when your hesitant voice cuts into her spiraling thoughts, she's tightening her hold on you to ground herself, “do… do you still love me?”

you sound small, and remorseful, your head digging into her neck like you’re embarrassed, and she can hear your heart rate speed up like you’re fearful, and it makes her clench her eyes tighter in pain, her lashes clinging to each other before she's exhaling a heavy breath, what did she do so wrong to have you, her lifeline, try to kill her?

“you know i do.”

and all the loving i've been giving goes unnoticed. it's just floating in the air, lookie there, are you aware?

No. This is more like a book club concept; watch on your own time and discussions happen throughout the week (one nominated episode each week).

What if I don't have time to watch the episode, can I still join the discussion? Can I join some weeks and not others? What if I don’t want to rewatch the whole thing?

There is no minimum commitment; come and go as you need. Not everyone will want to watch all the seasons and that's fine; drop out any time you like. Or join any time!

Does it matter if I haven't watched the show before?

Everyone is very welcome, but be aware the discussions will likely contain spoilers.

Though the day of Christmas was over, the season of gift-giving was still in full effect. As he was running errands around his city of Echizen, the young lad, Kohaku, was informed that he had a package delivered to him at his house. Deciding to stop by his house for a quick visit now that he had finished his current job, the young Filipino boy found a package addressed to him waiting by his front door. Intrigued, he tore it open and looked at what was inside.

It was kohakutou, his favorite treat in the whole wide world! Tearing the bag open without a second thought, he quickly popped two into his mouth, biting hard on the flavorful treats. What's more, there was more than one bag inside, meaning that once he was done with this bag, he had another one to partake in. Smiling as he popped another one in his mouth, he wandered briefly who delivered them to him. Fortunately, a letter inside the package answered his question.

"Dear Kohaku Meguno,

You may not know me, which is understandable since we've never spoken. But my name is Mireya Quinlan, owner of Gypsy's Palace, the #1 nightclub in Minato. Due to the length, I made a “Vol#5 Part①” in which I only talk about the blog comments🤣 “Vol#5 Part②” will be uploaded at a later date, on that podcast I will be focusing on reading the messages for the original talk theme 🧚✨

The comment section was full of everyone's thoughts and feelings, I had a really hard time reading through all of them, I actually cried so many times that I had a stuffy nose. Despite that, I am happy that you shared your thoughts with me, I felt like I could relate to everyone in my own way. Thank you so much.

When I read that many of you are seeking music as a source of comfort in times like this, I wanted nothing more than to sing for you right away. Which is why I was more than happy to be able to announce an online broadcast for February 6th. I'd love to watch a sequel to see how the characters evolve and how the city develolps. I really enjoy every one of your posts, especially those that are long, and I can't understand at all how someone can blame you for anti-behavior or somthing like that. All I see is how much you love BTS (and books/animes). Your posts about the diffrent albums are also great, I really hope you will do it in the future too. In general - I really miss reading your point of view about current events, etc. so much that it surprised me. Of course I unterstand what led you retreat and I think you're very strong that you post again. First of all I appreciate you for rigging the game and complying to my silly request so I can discuss certain things. Secondly, this answer is going to be so incredibly long, I'm sorry about the length of this post @ all of my followers. Deal with it though, Willow is my fave and I love talking about her. Willow is a manipulative bitch. In the best sense of the word. The real question is "When was the last time she told the full truth and nothing but the truth?" (on that note @ someone feel free to send me an ask to tell you the few times Willow was completely honest I guess) Willow is a queen of half truths and lying by omission, in addition to fully twisting situations to fit her narrative. Once again, even if we choose to ignore the masquerade in place to shield humanity from the woes of kindred society, Willow has been lying for years. Her parents don't know she's not straight. Her parents don't know she dropped out of university. Her parents don't know she's gone into sex work. And that's just barely the surface of the web of lies Willow has spun over the years. So um. Here's a list of some big lies Willow told post-embrace and their consequences? - My grandma is dying and I have to go back to the USA. and I don't know who you are. In an attempt to break ties with her best friends after the Prince banned telecommunication between kindred and put the coterie in their own house, Willow needed an excuse to no longer have to live with her kine best friends. She decided to message them over Facebook and tell them her grandma was on the brink of death, which they bought without much issue. Things got more complicated when they showed up at the club Willow had just started, though. They kept trying to get her attention, she kept telling them they must be drunk and she doesn't know who this Willow is, but alas, her co-workers told her to get her friends to be more normal. Didn't go over great, but Willow charmed her way out of it. - Everything will be okay. Said without words to one of her two best friends when the three of them were invited to a dinner at the seneschal's house. The other best friend is blood-bound to the seneschal, and while he was threatening Willow and the other friend, he decided to show the kine friend what the other would do. Willow tried to assure the kine friend it would be okay. It was not okay. She was held captive by the seneschal until yesterday in game, when Willow had to choose between killing her, embracing her, or turning her into a ghoul. - I have to work that night. Written on a note that was delivered to the seneschal's house. This ties in to the previous one, because Willow originally denied the invitation to come to the dinner. She had just started a new job and offered to take someone else's shift after cancelling on the seneschal to get out of having to go to the event. She eventually did attend because the ventrue that owns the club she worked at, told her it was best if she went anyway. - I didn't know my coterie would kill the sheriff. Said to the harpy after Willow helped her coterie kill the sheriff. This is the lie I wanted to talk about when I told you to rig the game. Willow went to the harpy's house before the coterie killed the sheriff at the end of the night before the event, so that she could report a masquerade breach (a human man may have seen the brujah kill a random guy on a bike). She also lied about how the coterie didn't know she was ratting out the brujah, but that's beside the point. The harpy reported the masquerade breach to the sheriff, who showed up the next day and basically ran straight into an ambush. A day later, Willow went right back to the harpy's house, where she told this lie to her. The harpy "want[ed] to believe her," and told Willow she liked her. To fully sell the events, she even decided to tag along with her bodyguard (now promoted to sheriff's right hand man) to Elysium to explain what had happened. And what may very well be the worst series of lies she's ever told: Willow nearly manipulated her way out of a conversation with the new sheriff, his right hand man, and the Prince of Amsterdam when they interrogated her about the death of the sheriff. She was asked to recount the events, she omitted crucial parts, and nearly got away with it too, if it wasn't for that pesky Prince. (6 successes vs. his 7) This landed her in jail, with her best friend hand delivered to her as a midnight snack, should she get peckish. So that wasn't ideal.

30. How much does your oc swear? Or do they keep completely clean? Why is this? Is there any situation where they would be the opposite?

Willow grew up in a religious household where swearing was basically banned. She's still a bit reluctant to actually start cussing, but her vocab has grown and she's less afraid to use cuss words. That doesn't mean she doesn't know what to say to hurt people. Cuss words are cheap digs, and Willow is classy. She'll read a person and hit them where it hurts the most. She will not specifically cuss at people unless they really ask for it, but might slip and cuss to herself quietly while doing things she doesn't wholly agree with. It hasn't happened often, but it nearly happened semi-recently where she was seconds away from cussing at the Prince of Amsterdam. After the events in the question before this one, and he told her he should set her outside to watch the sunrise, Willow was milliseconds away from just telling him to "Just do it, motherfucker." Good thing she had the willpower not to do that.

32. Is your oc a pacifist, or someone who picks fights? Why? In what situations would they be the opposite?

Willow considers herself a pacifist. She's better with words than she'd be in actual combat, and will thus always at least try to talk it out before she resorts to violence. All of this gets thrown out the second her people get put in difficult situations, though. When her people get threatened or mistreated, she will get violent, will pick fights, and will give up her own life to protect the lives of others. The sheriff who killed her sire had to die. The seneschal and the Prince are also high on her hit-list. And if she can't get those taken care of eventually, then maybe she's the one who doesn't deserve to live.

Manor House Reading Corner: Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo

What this is: I love books and I love Young Royals. I also love connecting people with books they might love too. That’s really all there is to it! In my “manor house reading corner” tag, I will be sharing forward titles that remind me of things I like about YR. Simply because this is my series of posts and I make the rules, I am specifically avoiding books that focus on characters with royal/aristocratic status or ancestry. This is probably because people are more likely to link those books to YR right away, and they don’t always line up for me in terms of what I like about YR. I will, however, try to highlight books as many books as I can with queer protagonists, as well as protagonists from other groups outside of a white/cishet/able-bodied/neurotypical “norm.” Feel free to message me if you’ve read one of these books and liked it, or if you have titles of your own you think I might enjoy. While the Lily and Kath’s feelings for one another run deep, they’re also working through understanding the lower dynamics in their society and the challenges their relationship will face. Moreover, Lo’s textured prose is realistic and incredibly grounded in the senses, so you can almost feel the world of the story as you read. It reminds me of how the production design of YR makes all the classrooms and bedrooms look lived in. Come for the sapphic longing, stay for the evocative descriptions of San Francisco’s Chinatown in the Cold War era.
