                Aaron felt Emily's hand on his thigh without having mentally prepared himself for it. He barely suppressed a gasp and the look of surprise that should have been on his face. He and she were sitting in a local restaurant with the rest of the team around them. Side by side, they tried to create an illusion among their counterparts, who were – normally – unaware that their relationship was not at all the one expected by the Bureau's rules of procedure. They had been sleeping together in total secrecy for several months, and it had all happened in the most natural way.

                After his divorce, she had come regularly to his home to keep him company, sometimes alone, sometimes with other BAU agents, and so they had spent many evenings talking about anything and everything, watching movies or TV series, before leaving each other light-hearted when it became indecent to be awake any longer. He had always really enjoyed spending time with her; everything seemed so fluid, so simple in her presence, that he always wanted her to stay longer. They had also seen each other in less relaxed moments, when it was essential – vital – for them to talk about the case they had just solved. He had reassured her, supported her, encouraged her and, without him asking, she had done the same.

                But it was on one of those evenings when they'd started watching that old shows that their friendship had taken a turn for something else. Why? How? He was still unable to explain it, but their bodies had come together incidentally, their skin had ended up touching, their fingers brushing against each other and, one thing leading to another, their mouths had found each other. They had kissed, for a long time, tenderly, languorously. Their hands had begun to roam over the reliefs of the other's anatomy and something had suddenly reminded them that they had no right to do that. Emily had stood up; her cheeks flushed, grabbed her bag and jacket and stormed off without a word.

                The next day, Thursday, they had carefully ignored each other all day, and he had thought that this slip-up would remain nothing more than an accident. That they would avoid being alone for a certain period of time, but that they would remain professional nonetheless, until she again had adventures with someone other than him, which would bury this hazard once and for all. But she had knocked on his door that very evening and without exchanging words, they had ended up in his bed where they had united several times before sinking into a sweet, restorative sleep. With his lover snuggled in his arms, he felt invaded by a serenity that had long eluded him. And despite the forbidden nature of their new bond, they repeated their lovemaking the following weekend.

                Initially, they had planned to sneak into each other's sheets only in their spare time, taking advantage of the days when he didn't have custody of Jack to express all the love they'd had for each other for some time now, and which they'd always padlocked within themselves until that night. But they had both wished to keep their feelings from spilling over into their work, and so had held back during the investigations. Until the day Emily came knocking at his door because she couldn't sleep. He'd welcomed her into his room and they'd slept next to each other, tightly packed in that single bed. The next day, she had reappeared on his doorstep and he had once again offered her the warmth of his arms. The torrid embrace that followed left them breathless but blissful. They had cum so intensely that they immediately gave up the idea of not repeating the experience.

                But it had to be possible to do so. Which wasn’t the case this time. They brought the necessary information to the local police and enjoyed a moment's respite over a good meal.

                That's how they'd ended up in this restaurant, and how chance had it that they were sitting next to each other. And, while chatting with Dave, Emily had discreetly brought her palm to his thigh, sipping her drink without looking in his direction. Clearly, she wanted him as much as he wanted her. And his heartbeat quickened as her hand slowly progressed in the direction of his crotch. What he saw of her intentions didn't help keep him calm. With his thoughts muddled, he was unable to perceive the words his table-mates were saying. Fortunately for him, Derek, Spencer and JJ didn't seem to need his intervention. Especially since his instinct was to make things worse.

                With the same discretion as his partner, he settled back in his seat and slid a hand under the table to caress her bust. She flinched briefly and he saw her clench her teeth. She was restraining herself to smile. His phalanges descended, inch by inch, along her side as she moved up towards his hip. “Okay,” JJ replied before bouncing off a point Spencer had made.

They didn't look after him, and that suited him just fine. He followed in his partner's footsteps and knocked gently on the bathroom door. It opened and the black eye of his accomplice appeared. She immediately grabbed his wrist and pulled him inside. No sooner had the latch closed than she pressed him against the wall to devour his lips. They kissed and caressed each other with a fiery ardor, exploring the valleys and mounts of each other's bodies as if they hadn't visited them in years.

                As he kissed her neck, he unbuttoned her stocking to lead his hand into her panties. He saw that she was more than ready to welcome him. She must have masturbated while waiting for him so they wouldn't be gone too long. He thanked her in thought. Then he has a moment of hesitation. They exchanged yet another furtive kiss, and she left to join their friends and colleagues. It was some time before he joined them, and his slice of pie was waiting for him in its place. He swallowed his first spoonful, regretting only that he wouldn't be able to give his neighbor pleasure with his mouth that very evening. Too bad. It would wait two or three days.

Ayyy finally answering this, friend! Sorry that it took centuries to get to!

The one thing I don't shut up about is Hunter's ensuing depression after Belos's death, contrary to the Hollywood kind of ending where everything becomes sunny and everyone can easily move on. We would see the stuff that a therapist would tick the checkboxes for in a mental status exam: slowing down psychomotor-wise e.g. slower speech, flat moods which are the unsettling polar opposite to the earnest emotional expression we love him so much for, distracted attention span, less tidy appearance, and he'd be sleeping excessively for some time. (full mental health meta on this subject here: link) Camila would be making sure he has plenty of movies to watch on the couch so that he isn't locking himself too much in the basement T_T Darius would be monitoring how he helps to rebuild the Isles so that he doesn't overexert himself.

Amity, the twins and Alador would go for walks to the store, in the woods etc, and this bonding time in restoring their relationships would be so important.

Luz's two main challenges would be: 1. becoming more aware of the domino effect of teaching Philip the light glyph spell in the timepool, especially now that everyone is coming out of survival mode, 2. the guilt surrounding Flapjack...I don't think she'd just move on from puppet!Hunter's words "And then I lost him, helping you. But you still get to have your own palisman?!" God this makes me wonder...what was it that the Hexsquad went through in their minds which led to the beautiful decision to get their red tattoos together? I'm gonna sniffle, jfc.

Gus might be the first person to broach the subject of Flapjack again, since he verbally put the same subject out in the open in For the Future (working with Willow, who took the flyer derby photo off the wall to show to Hunter and trying to reach out to him). It's also in line with how he was the first one to express sadness after they became trapped in the human realm i.e. he broke down crying right away. I love this about him whereby he may excel in Illusion magic but he gets down to the truth right away.

Willow is utterly exhausted and there's still some remaining upset from her breakdown about how much she missed her dads, shouldered things on her own and kept things bottled up. She approaches Camila not long after they leave The Collector's Palace to say that Camila was right, and to say thank you. And she needs a bit of space alone for the upset feelings to run their course.

Mattholomule has more surprises up his sleeve for Gus, lol. Gus just doesn't stop being flabbergasted.

The first person to say anything to Kikimora, who is moping and stewing away somewhere, is of course Luz.

Luz and Hunter more or less switch places emotionally if you compare their TTT and WaD demeanors (in FtF, they were both under somewhat similar emotional strain, in their own arcs). In TTT, Luz was very far from her vibrant self, ruminated on her guilt and slowed down so much, while Hunter was on the move: excitedly exploring his self and interests while being in his comfort zone of wanting to help others (he still had the capacity to do so!). Luz wasn't out exploring and connecting with others: she was in the dark prison of depression. If we flip this for the pre-timeskip era: Hunter would slow down by gradually running out of steam to even help others, and isolate himself before getting better...struggling with the absence of Flapjack and Belos, being frozen in time in terms of this bereavement. While Luz, 1. became unfrozen from her long-term bereavement by beginning to accept that her dad and Papa Titan were gone (an emotional place which Hunter simply cannot reach until many months later), 2. was reunited with Eda and King and on the same page as Camila, and would be on the move seeing what she can do to contribute for the Isles. There is a parallel between both of them wrestling with guilt: Luz's guilt about how her encounter with young Philip led to Belos's regime, Hunter's about the impact of his actions as the Golden Guard.

God this one is tough to lay out in clear detail but...the sleeping arrangements for the Hexsquad during the first few nights...emotions catching up to them...I really wonder what it was, and who would want more of their own space and not trouble others (yet definitely not being at peace with whatever was going through their minds) versus who expressed their need to not be alone at night.. Maybe Luz wanted to be with Eda, Raine and King in the Owl House, Amity would have her space back in Blight Manor, and we have Willow, Gus and Darius extending invitations to Hunter. There's no way I can predict which choice Hunter made, coz he may have gone with an arrangement that would've left the others concerned. Whether he obliged out of politeness or was firm enough to say that he didn't want to burden them...hard to tell. OMT, what if he slept alone BUT the palismen secretly huddled by his side in the night like in this beautiful fanart which is one of my faves??: link

Contrary to Hunter, Vee's response to Belos's death would be far simpler closure because she had zero attachment to Belos. Hell, she wasn't raised by him for an entire childhood. And while she would've had some survivor's guilt, we know that the other basilisks eventually came back to life, unlike (ughhhhh) the Grimwalkers who can't be brought back. These are the clues as to how Vee could open up more, smile brightly, and begin to explore the big wide world around her:

Which means she would've definitely been an important influence for Hunter's recovery.

PROPAGANDA

ALLURA (VOLTRON: LEGENDARY DEFENDER)

1.) Okay so, they really wanted Allura to be a #girlpower icon, but the way that came about is that they basically stripped her from having emotions. She only cries once in the whole show, and it was in the first season (when the show was actually good.) After her one cry she basically becomes a leader figure who doesn’t get to bond much with the other characters. They then decided to pass her around as a romantic interest to three different men. The first one was only set up, but she ends up dating two of them within the show’s short run. The second character they set her up with turns out to have enslaved her people. The third character they set her up with has been shown to be interested in her through the shows run. Despite Allura’s consistent lack of interest, she ends up being pressured into going on a date with him. Despite it being a terrible date (in my opinion) they decide to peruse a relationship. The relationship is terrible and they really only spend time together to rant about their problems. At the end of the season, the very same one where this relationship started, Allura sacrifices herself to save the universe. This stupid fucking decision not only came out of nowhere in terms of in-universe logic, but also that her death is treated as sad because the guy lost his girlfriend. Most of the other characters don’t really morn her, and the guy she was dating just becomes sadly obsessed with the idea of her for the rest of his life. Not really the nice send-off for the #girlboss.

2.) She was given plenty character, but not a lot of things to do narratively speaking.

She wanted to free the Galaxy from tyranny. She's the leader even though she doesn't pilot the black lion. She's can talk to mice. She's kind, and she's among the the last of her kind. Her home planet was destroyed. She kept going even when things looked horrendous. She had to wait 10,000 in stasis sleep before she could fight to protect others. Because her father wanted to protect her and made the wrong decision in not fighting the Galra with Voltron. She had to destroy the AI of her father when he was corrupted in season 1. She had to deal with her Dad dying twice.

She had cool powers like shapeshifting but didn't get to use them often. She starts piloting the blue lion, at season 3. Her father worked with the big bad Zarkon and she is portrayed just to hate him. When it was more like she was completely betrayed by him.

She didn't get alot of interactions with the other cool female characters. Even Pidge who was on her team, which can only form Voltron through teamwork. 8 seasons and they never talk about how how much they miss their families. Pidge's main motivation is finding her father and brother. It would have been perfect. The only time they hangout is to get Allura ready for a date.

She was distrusting of all Galra since there empire wiped out her kingdom. But when she got an arc about learning to not distrust all Galra. It functionally ended with Prince Lotor of the Galra making people batteries out of the survivor's of her kingdom.

Then she was basically relegated to her relationship with Lance's interaction wise. She didn't get many interactions with anyone else she was close to in the season she died. Not even with Coran, the guy put in stasis with her.

For the finale she dies sacrificing herself to restore all realites. She had to give up her new family and her people. She would do that, I just don't think the writers had earned doing that. She deserved a happy ending. She never gets to see that her sacrifice even brought back her planet.

3.) season 8. Season 8. SEASON 8. Allura deserved so much better than an out of nowhere romance arc with Lance and then dying without being able to say goodbye to Coran (her royal advisor, closest friend, and last remaining member of her family and her planet). AND they had her give Altean marks to Lance right before dying, leaving him with a constant reminder of her for the rest of his life!! Why!!!!!!!!! AND THEN THE LIONS FLY BACK INTO SPACE TOWARDS A NEBULA SHAPED LIKE HER, LIKE THE WHOLE FINALE WAS SATISFYING AND NOT A MASTERCLASS IN UNSATISFYING CHARACTER ENDINGS!!!!!! Allura you will always be the confident princess and leader of the rebellion in my heart i am so so sorry season 8 happened to you

MIKAELA BANES (TRANSFORMERS)

1.) mikaela's case is so egregious that i struggle to really properly word any propaganda beyond 'just look at the movie. look at it.' but congrats to mikaela banes for getting in! was thinking of submitting her along with my arcee but couldn't even like. begin to describe it. agh.

best i can really say for her right now is 'open her tfwiki article, open sam's, look at the pictures, compare how they frame the two, you will see what i mean then and there.' but i might do a rewatch of the bayverse transformers movies just to be able to get all my more complex thoughts in order to actually submit a breakdown of her. which is not something i want to do, but if anyone deserves it it's mikaela. she deserved so much better.

2.) She was the female character played by Megan Fox, and Michael Bay wanted to make sure everyone watching knew this was a woman played by megan fox. She is the quintessential "not like other girls" (in fact, this is the second sentence of her wikipedia page - "She is differentiated from "typical" women in her age group, having inherited mechanical skills from her father") who has guy interests, but is still hot and wears crop tops and jean shorts. I remember two things from that movie, Bumblebee and the scene where she is working on the car ~sexily~, which today genuinely seems like a parody, but was included entirely earnestly (I wasn't going to add a picture from this scene, but it was literally the first and third pictures that showed up when i googled her)

3.) Mikaela is so sexualized it's unreal. Like, I feel I really just need to submit this screenshot:

Look at the way she's posed, the way she's dressed, the fact her head isn't in the shot. It's pure objectification, like the kind that should be in textbooks as easy examples. The way it emphasizes both her butt and her boobs but also shows her stomach is just astonishing. God it doesn't even show her FACE. This shot really amazes me, just good god.

And then there's also this famous shot:

It's so aggressively sexy, so much a pose and not at all a way a real human would position themselves. The way her ass is popped out, the way her hair is flipped, jesus christ. Someone needs to put Michael Bay in misogyny jail.

I Called It!

After, finally being able to watch the latest episode of Welcome to Dreamworld I noticed most of my predictions on my AO3 Welcome to Dreamworld headcanons came true (and some didn't). Here's a few that came true and didn't and headcanons of what may happen:

1.After watching the video on how Sara killed him and erased most of his memories Norman decides to help Wiatt and Damian to find Sara and return everyone to their bodies and he's gonna feel a lot of guilt/betrayal:

Before Sara killed him, she got him interested in the idea of immortality.

The reason he doesn't bat an eyelash over the dead workers/visitors is because when his soul was transferred into the animatronic Sara hide his morality along with the memory of her killing him.

After, he watches the videos Norman is hit with a wall of guilt. Sure, he wanted to live and be young forever, but not at the cost of human life!

Norman will slowly help Morris and Astra restore their memories.

Will attempt to make Hayden help bring Sara, Pen, and Lisa back.

Norman will feel betrayed by Sara and question their whole relationship.

And start crushing on Morris/ Andrew.

2. I was wrong about Hayden and Pen knowing each other since childhood.

It turns out Audrey/Astra and Andrew/Morris knew Hayden during high school, are the reason why he had blue highlights in his hair, and got hired around the same time.

We'll find out more about Pen later on.

3. In the show the animatronics dream, so they may have their own sleeping quarters similar to the animatronics in Five Nights at Freddy's Pizzaplex.

Each room is designed to accommodate to each animatronic and is on their respected floor.

We saw Morris's room in the latest episode, and it's located at Watchful Eye. We'll most likely see Astra's when she gets her memories back.

4. Rex/Mike's history being revealed from:

Childhood - Mike most likely normal childhood and had many friends.

Transitioning - Mike starting to question his gender and starts feeling isolated.

Being kicked out and rejected by parents - (warning tearjerker) It was nothing nice (look what that horrid excuse of a dad did to Mike's eye), poor baby was homeless, maybe stayed in shelters, and as soon as Mike found out Dreamworld was hiring he took the job to survive.

Crushing on Alyssa - Being roommates, bonding over sexuality, and they were roommates tropes!

Being crushed to death in the trash compactor and who put him there - (warning tearjerker) Died alone, Sara stored his body with Lewis & Oliver's, and only Alyssa tried looking for him.

5. The souls of the victims' weren't just placed into the animatronics at random there had to be a connection for them to come to life:

Lewis & Star Light - Artistic, perfectionist, kind.

Eric & Rainbow Dancer - Loveable goofballs, creativity, protective-dad-energy. 

Mike & Rex - Protectors, caring, laid-back.

Alyssa & Glory - Caregivers, kind, a bit of a tease.

John, James, Jake & Masquerade, Melody, Mimic - Innocent, mischievous, playful.

Carly & Cheer - Brave, tomboyish, competitive.

Ben & Liz and Lolli & Pop  - Fun-loving, adventurous, curious.

 Andrew & Morris  - Loyal, energetic, nervous.

Audrey & Astra - Friendly, kind, observant.

Carlos & Winnie, Sara & Millie, Lorenzo, Night Light, and Gruff will get connections later.

Things to come:

With everything happening in the facility with the talk of immortality, the countless deaths, and ghosts talk I wouldn't be surprised if Litho was running a cult!

We know of the rumors of the facility with a mechanic (Carlos/Winnie) during the 1980s, but that is just the most recant and popular rumor up to date!

There must have been thousands of deaths near that cave even before Litho arrived.

Some of the cult members work at Dreamworld *COUGH*JAMESON*COUGH*. Heck, some of the cops (not caring and being bribed) and maybe people who live nearby know too.

Litho has ordered them not to mess with Wiatt.

They're aware Litho most likely will kill them and put them into animatronics, at the end of the day they just want to live forever.

2. We're gonna see more Hazel and the other Animatronics!

Hazel will finally meet Wiatt and introduce him to the other animatronics.

As much as Wiatt doesn't want Hazel involved, he sees bits of him in her so he's crazy protective of her. 

Whenever Oliver is near Millie he goes into corrupt-soul-mode that freaks/confuses everyone even himself (nobody knows Sara is possessing Millie). 

The first thing Lorenzo, Night Light, and Gruff will remember are their names. 

  We'll get an episode of how Hazel met Lorenzo, Night Light, Gruff, and Millie.

We'll see why Hazel is interested in Dreamworld's mysteries. I think it may have something to do with John/ Masquerade, James/ Melody, and Jake/ Mimic.

3. Alison will return to the facility at some point. And we get to see more ghosts.

Most of the ghosts want to help and get revenge on Litho.

Others are too blinded by the immortality promise to rebel and fully believe in Litho. To add support to the theory Litho did but souls in the animatronics and is keeping their bodies alive so some of the ghost believe Litho will do that for them.

4. Either Glory/ Alyssa, Cheer/Carly, or Lolli/Liz & Pop/Ben will gain their memories next.

5. When Glory gets her memories back, she's gonna feel extremely guilty for causing Morris's death.

Morris accepts her apology because he knows Glory wouldn't harm anyone on purpose (except Sara/Litho).

When Astra starts gaining her memories, she'll remember that she and Glory/Alyssa worked together on the same floor.

The three become gossip buddies.

6. Wiatt stops recording and his healthy starts to decline.

We'll most likely see things via security cameras or normal viewing for most of season 2.

Wiatt will still help get the animatronics their memories back. Because, HELLO - if your family/friend's soul got trapped in a animatronic by an evil demon wouldn't you save them?

Everyone will notice something is off with Wiatt (mainly Star/Lewis), but Wiatt will brush it off.

Wiatt will start having nightmares similar to his Grandmother (Lucy) and dad (Owen) did.

Wiatt's soul is linked to the camera (the one he mainly uses) and the more time he's away from it the sicker he becomes. His situation is similar to Allison and his violin since those items hold their souls since Allison is a ghost and Wiatt is most likely an animatronic/cyborg.

Everyone will find this out when it's too late!

I fell down the Cult of the Lamb rabbit hole HARD so here are my COTL OCs

Third youngest Bishop, the Bishop of Conquest

Kikimora

Before Narinder's betrayal she was a militant and just leader. Often found plotting on how to scower heretics from her and her siblings lands or painting art pieces for her siblings. Her lands were called The Nestlands, a dying forest near Darkwood with very little agricultural lands. The Nestlands had no written language, instead using images to write the history of the Cult of Conquest as Kikimora had severe dyslexia and struggled to learn how to read and writ. She often lead her cult on crusades every decade or so and it was a ritual many in her cult enjoyed. She was particularly close with her immediate older brother Narinder and in her younger years as a chick he would encourage Kikimora do do mischief which often got both of them scolded by Shamura. When Heket and Leshy were brought in to the Old Faith she was happy to help them grow and discover what type of gods they wanted to be. After Narinder's betrayal she became a recluse, only recently coming out of it because of Leshy's encouragement. She turned her crown into hands when she needed them. She shut herself off from the rest of her remaining siblings because she felt immeasurable guilt and grief over the loss of their brother and parts of themselves. She stopped her crusades and rarely left her temple unless absolutely necessary so her high ranking and most trusted cultists had to do a lot of work around the cult. As a follower of the Lamb she mainly cooks and prays as she cannot do much else because of her missing hands. She has two unique quests that the Lamb can do, retrieve her lost hands and restore a painting of her and her siblings that she tore Narinder out of in a fit of overwhelming grief shortly after his betrayal.

Andreal

Andreal is the first boss of The Nestlands, he is also one of Kikimora's most loyal followers. He walks with a limp because of a past injury. He is fiercely loyal but very sickly, often being one of the first to get sick when sicknesses start spreading in the winter months. Other than that he is an excellent follower, quickly earning the trust of the other followers, though his war memories gave him minor PTSD but the Lamb is more than willing to accommodate for him and Kikimora's other followers. On the plus side some of the younger followers like his many stories.

Phoenyx

Phoenyx is the second boss of The Nestlands. She is quite passionate about what she believes in and often gets into fights with desenters if the Lamb is off on a crusade. Like Anreal she has PTSD but it's only triggered if someone tries to touch her scar without her consent, a trait she and Leshy share and have bonded over while the Lamb was away on crusades. She has a higher body temperature than most due to being a pheonix so during particularly cold winters she wakes up with the whole cult sleeping on and around her, she doesn't mind as long as they respect her boundaries.

Painon

He was the most loyal of Kikimora's following when she was a Bishop of the Old Faith so she gifted him a diadem with the cult symbol on it, the Lamb let him keep it but changed the symbol on it to their cult's symbol. He doesn't like it when someone touches his neck as it reminds him of a time a heratic almost took his life via strangulation, he also doesn't like the feeling of the Cult's robes rubbing against his neck so the Lamb is working on a special robe for him where the neckline doesn't touch his neck. Painon and Andreal often telling, or rather acting out, stories from their former Cult to the members of the Lamb's Cult as they find them entertaining, even the former Bishops.

Witness Beleth

They often just hang out with the other Witnesses as they are shy compared to the other former members of Kikimora's cult who are often a jovial and outspoken group of birds. They haven't kicked the habit of calling Kikimora "My Lady" or referring to her as "My Lady Conquest" in conversations, they are working on it though. Rarely and only when exhausted, Witness Beleth will sometimes call the other former bishops things like "Leige War", "Leige Knowledge", "Lord Pestilence", "Lord Death", "Lady Famine" and "Lord Chaos" and on occasion they will call the Lamb "My Leige Death" as a sign of respect.

Given my lack of sleep, this may not be particularly coherent. Bear with me

Isnene the Swift is my Nerevarine, who was originally named by cleaning up a keysmash and became a character in her own right when I poured on the lore and forgot to say when. I knew very little about Morrowind when I first played her, so I just kept seeing cool new things and adding them

Isnene is the granddaughter of Barenziah's child that (in my universe) Talos failed to kill, meaning she is also a dragonborn, and that the Blades have a standing order to eliminate her and any of her family they find. This makes the beginning of the game incredibly nerve-wracking for her. She is also descended from House Dagoth, maybe even Voryn himself, on the other side of the family. Girly got ISSUES.

She grew up as a street thief on the Anvil dockside, and was arrested for Thieves Guild crimes before being deported to Morrowind at the start of the game. She fights with a spear and mostly restoration and alteration spells, as well as a bunch of potions and enchanted gear. She joined House Hlaalu out of a "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" mentality, and also joined the Thieves Guild and Mages Guild. (I'm definitely not still salty that the Twin Lamps didn't get a whole faction and questline. Not at all)

She is actually Nerevar reborn, and when she is sent to Kogrohun to prove herself, she follows the path that she doesn't know how she knows, all the way up to Dagoth Ur. As soon as she steps into the Heart Antichamber, all his memories come back. Which. Is. Traumatic. So she runs away to Solstheim to process everything. And then has to deal with werewolves n shit. And then before she finishes getting named Hortator and Nerevarine by everybody, she goes to Mournhold to figure out the whole assassin thing. And it's only a week or two really before she is face to face with HIS WIFE. More. Emotional. Damage. So she is so very sad and haunted by the time she goes up mountain, but also happy because it's almost over. And when she collapses beside the Heart, she doesn't even try to ward off the figure looming over her as her vision goes black. And then she wakes up at her marked location, with her hand closed around her recall amulet, with cuts across the backs of her fingers like too long clawed hands. Like forgiveness.

A/N: I'm very sorry this took very long! qwq. I wasn't sure what type you wanted so I went with a short oneshot. Thank you very much for requesting!



The whole ceremony was in chaos in a split second. Students were running for their lives as a small monster began to breath fire, setting the whole chamber on fire. The middle aged man shook his head as he cover the infant in his arm, to prevent their eyes from the disastrous scene. Let us recap what happened shall we?

This year's ceremony turned out to be a disaster for the Headmaster of Night Raven College, Dire Crowley. Not only did the Black Carriage brought a non-magic user inside the campus, it was an infant nonetheless!

Thanks to Mozus Trein, one of the teachers in this school, he managed to calm the Headmaster down. Only for it to be useless once another uninvited guest infiltrated the ceremony. A monster that resembles a cat or a raccoon. Which brings us back to the current situation.

The monster was managed to be caught by Riddle Rosehearts with the use of his unique magic. Soon, peace was restored in the chamber. While Headmaster was discussing with the others to escort the monster out. Trein remain silent as he observe the little baby cradled in his arms.

Scrunching it's forehead, their eyelids flattered as open as it slowly met his. Despite being sleepy, a small adorable smile grace its lips as they try to reach out to his face. The old man himself couldn't resist upon seeing that precious smile. Holding their small covered left hand, he lightly swing his body rock the baby to sleep once more.

He will admit it was a shame. It was only a short moment they shared but it was worth it. Time for the little one to be returned to their parent's.

After the whole fiasco, the Headmaster instructed the dorm leaders to lead the freshmen back to their dorms to get some rest. Trein stood in front of the mirror along with Crowley. The baby in his arms, who remained awake after the attempt on making them fall asleep, gurgle seeing the glowing moving face as it move its hands in excitement.

"Magic Mirror, show this little one's way home!" Crowley commanded as he rose his arms in the air.

"It does not exist." The mirror replied in a second.

A total deaf silence befell among them. Their ears didn't clearly fooled them, but it still made them stun.

"Doesn't exist? Then where in the Seven did this little one come from?" Trein glance down at the infant, worry present in his eyes. Immersed in his monologue, Crowley began to despair himself muttering nonsense stories that might happen if ever a word of a baby taken by the black carriage.

"Crowley, handle this matter to me. Out of all of us, I have the most experience with them seeing as I am a married man with my own children of course."

"I-Indeed. Are you truly sure about this, Trein? What would your wife think?"

Crowley voice out his concern. His co-worker's wife might think the baby was born out of wedlock despite explaining the truth. Trein sighed before reassuring the Headmaster.

"Do not worry, Headmaster. I can already imagine my wife showering this little one lots of love and attention."

He was silent for a moment as he recall the conversation he had with his wife before. With their children already grown and can fully handle themselves, they were always not at home. They still come home every holidays but he and mostly his wife felt a bit lonely without them. Sure both of them also have their own jobs, but the joyful atmosphere in their home was not the same without their children.

Sensing his mood, you let out a shriek as it tries to catch his attention by lifting your hands towards him. A small smile crawl upon his lips as he held your hand against his cheek.

Like what he said, his wife fell in love at first sight of you. When he came home with a baby in his arms, she almost got a heart attack until be explained your situation. His wife was heartbroken to learn you had no home. Taking you from him, she made sure to pour all her attention and love to you.

It was a peculiar sight for students to see the History professor to be carrying a baby in a sling in his arms during lectures. Usually Lucius is the one in his arms, but the cat was relaxing without a care atop of the desk beside a small bag containing your needs. Thankfully for Trein, you sleep like a log which made his teaching flow smoothly without a problem. From time to time, you'll stir in your sleep before going motionless as before.

This brought back memories of him taking care his children when they were still your age. The time he was a new father who had no knowledge on how to take care of a baby.

Almost a week has passed when Trein himself can tell he had grown on you. The same can be said to his wife. Seeing as you could already turn yourself over and crawl made him speechless and proud. Every little smile and giggle you give him made him warm and soft inside. It was when they decided to adopt you as their own but before contacting their children about it first.

He'll had to admit, at first he was anxious his children won't accept but they happily agreed as they express their excitement to meet you once the holidays have arrived.

Lucius at first was indifferent at you. But after stealing his spot in his master's arms, he was quite grumpy towards you. Contrast to that, whenever Trein was away, he would guard you and will bop your small head out of curiosity. Slowly but gradually, he would act like an older sibling as he would cuddle himself close to you at home in bed.

After signing the adopting papers, it was official. You were now part of the family. There are many more memories to come as Trein quietly promised to himself that he'll protect you and love you with all his being.

Lena watches the anti matter wave swallow Earth-38. In the blink of an eye, the entire planet vanishes from the screen, but that isn't what stops the heart in her chest, freezing the breath in her lungs.

No. What makes the world stop is the sudden emptiness in her mind, the vacuum in her thoughts that is the absence of her cluster.

The shock of the severed bond makes the world spin around her. Her knees knock together, catching Supergirl's attention.

"Lena, it's okay, we'll fix it..."

The rest of her platitudes fall away as Lena's grip on reality falters, and she sinks into the nothingness.

Alone.

When she awakens, Kara is hovering next to her, perched anxiously on a stool beside the med bay recliner Lena rests in. But the physical nearness to another person does nothing to quash the deep isolation in Lena's chest.

Not one of them had made. None of her cluster survived.

She expects tears to rise, expects the tightness in her chest to resolve into a sob. But nothing comes. She's completely and utterly empty.

"Lena, are you--"

Ignoring the concern, Lena pushes out of the recliner and heads towards the door to the med bay as soon as she's on her feet.

By the time Lex shows up, Lena has nothing to react with. She sees her brother's smirking countenance, egging her to say something, but she remains silent. Not even the fact that her lack of reaction rankles him is enough to make her feel anything.

That doesn't keep him from negging her.

"Tell me," he says, sauntering into the lab the Legends have assigned them, "did any of your imaginary friends manage to evacuate? Or are you alone like the rest of us mere mortals--"

Without a word, Lena whirls and decks her brother in the jaw with a powerful right hook. He staggers, but Lena doesn't give him time to recover. The next thing she knows Sara Lance is hauling her away from where she's straddling Lex's chest and delivering blow after blow to his head and face.

She nearly catches Sara in the face with a flailing elbow in her effort to break free and resume her task of pulverizing Lex's skull to pieces. In response Sara cleanly flips her onto her back, slamming her as gently as possible to the deck and pinning her there.

Still, Lena feels nothing.

"Easy," Sara soothes, "easy now."

Lex coughs, rolling to his side before spitting the blood from his mouth.

"Bravo, sis." His voice is little more than a wheeze, but he still hasn't lost his arrogance. "I didn't think you had it in you." He tsks. "What would your cluster think?"

Lena regards him coolly, her muscles slackening under Sara's weight.

"Fuck you."

Resurrecting reality is easier than Lena expects, all things considered. Time spent in the dawn of time isn't really spent at all. None of them age, none of them know when a day has passed or a hundred. Sleep is useless. So Lena works.

The quiet of her own singular consciousness never fills. The emptiness in her chest gapes, driving her to spend every moment working on a solution. At least the other paragons know to keep Lex as far away from her as possible.

When they succeed, when their solution WORKS, as soon as she opens her eyes Lena feels full again. Her thoughts no longer rattle around her mind-- they're ensconced, cradled by the consciousness of the others. Lena stands in the sun of Earth Prime and breathes what feels like her first breath since the destruction of Earth-38.

With tears building in her eyes, Lena closes her eyes and reaches out through the restored connections emanating to and from their shared consciousness.

A flash of images bombard her, but she barely feels it as alarm floods her mind. Her breath quickens in panic, as realization slowly dawns.

She realizes she doesn't know a single one of them.

Was he choosing not to notice how thin she gotten? Yes. It had seemed like - at least towards him - no matter if he genuinely cared and fretted or feigned not to care, it was never seen as welcome. It was entertained, the notice and brushed off. Something he was used to from those that were long dead. Well, Dead in a sense.

It was as if it didn't - no, never - never mattered what he thought, that it didn't matter what he felt anymore. As if suddenly a genuine marriage, their marriage was just some sort of political alliance. Some thing to be for societal appearences alone. Something forced.

He hated that. It's why he doesn't stay on his mother's homeworld any longer than a few minutes.

He's been in those before and usually he would befriend the other and make it more into a rebellion ceremony or - if they had lovers before his arrival - officiating the marriages between them and letting them run off. Make it seem as if he gets left at the alter while they enjoy their life without the constraints of status and expectation. Friends helping each other out. Those were enjoyable.

This was different.

Like he was being shoved into an ill-fitted coffin with the wrong gravemarker in real time. Trapped by Dantalion again - except now, it wasn't Dantalion but by societal expectation out of someone else's pedestal.

It didn't matter that wasn't what was said, it was all in the actions and these were those actions: that joint approach.

But this was how he felt. But that did not matter. It never mattered. Love from him? His love? His care? His worries? No, they didn't matter. Why would they? They were always a substitute, weren't they? They were always seen as something to hang on the wall of a house never made for and with him. A docket.

This was never spoken. This was never relayed through. This feeling was never shared.

No, instead, he gave warmth. Not doubts. Not worry to himself. Not to the afterthought. Not to the aftertaste. Just genuine kindness.

Whether they cared or not.

After all, his word was binding.

"Did you want the front door locked or unlocked?" Her home, her choice.

Vin follows her inside and proceeded to close the door behind him but he didn't remove his coat. Why would he? He wasn't a welcomed guest. He was a stranger they brought in to entertain their own curiosity outside of what was familiar, was he not?

He knew she had gotten the restored bond she actually wanted from the one she actually wanted it by. After all, his mother’s mob in the intergalactic section watched over all as shifting into literal trees or cars or sometimes buildings, all missives sent strictly to him in pictures with brief explainations of what was going on in his family's lives. All burned away once recieved.

It was a clean bond. Why sully it with his fil– why did she need his? Wasn't her true bond with yet the latest version of the one she and her family always wanted not enough anymore or was this also his f— no. That was the question. Why did she still need his own? They were... separate now. Why did she need his bond back too? Was it out of pity? Was this seen as a bargain or something along the lines of 'i only needed the one amazing quarterback but the water boy will have to do'? Or was it as a reminder of what they used to be? A literal break from the norm, from the usual monotonous choice, from what was expected? Preordained?

Her home, her choice.

Trapped, one could say?

"Did you drink or eat anything?" He noticed how she physically looked. Reminded him of how he was, how his sister was. Forget to eat until forgetting to eat was part of forgetting to sleep because 'time got away from them' when, as graduated Time Lords, they would have to forgo that excuse, wouldn't they? Better than the truth.

In his case, why eat if your existence was never yours but, held together by unpinned string built on the death knoll of a reality long erased and a sheer force of sentient will? Why drink when everything you thought you were was built off of someone else's curious whim, of what would happen, of manipulating reality where once just a chemical change of cells suddenly had their own life? Why tether to something that was created simply out of the memory of the experience of being them for personal amusement?

Her home, her choice.

This, Vin, didn't understand the current why. He wanted to bond with Kira but, what would she be truly bonding to right now? How much of it would be genuine to him as a extended concept of his sister and how much would be of her actually wanting him to be real, to be his own person, to be just her one thing outside of what she leaned on as the predictable and familiar and painful and untrustworthy but 'highly questionably' safe choice?

What would his kids be connecting with, truly? Despite the years, despite the merger, Vin remembers what he is told to remember. Despite feeling the edits of his timeline, of someone clipping out a vein and stitching in string in its place for each birth: he remembers adopting each kid that he had with her. The same ones that cut him out of their lives the second he unwittingly chose to pull and unfurl those strings where veins used to be. He remembers holding Kate as she was born but Kate was always already born by something that was string, not vein. Holding each sibling before her when they were born but, it was always a birth he was never apart of. A family he wandered into as they cut out and scratch out the face of the one that stood where he was now incorrectly glued in their place. Kira may have been lied to by omission but his feelings for her were always true, they were both just entertained by what he was not: by what can be used - even now - with familiar reference.

Nothing more, nothing less.

But none of this was not said. None of this was not felt. All in a half a second, this was gone. In its place: kindness and warmth.

Rhaegar (a married man and the father two children) kidnapped Lyanna and raped her to fulfill a prophecy, not even caring about what was going to happen to his family. Robert fought a war in her name trying toget her back. What did he do, sleep with women? Rhaegar did the same and he already had a family

Are you....are you expecting me to admit both are equally worse or something???? did you not get the memo that i like neither but my hate for robert, who's character is adequately fleshed out for me to violently despise the dude in comparison to rhaegar, whom i dislike for the actions which are CANON??? Or are you expecting something else here?

Listen, i don't care about how many women rhaegar slept with (which was TWO according to the canon, btw. not the whoring type i'm afraid. sucks for you) but if the two were REALLY in love and it was absolutely mutual and consensual, i wish he had went about it in a manner that wouldn't have resulted in the deaths of Rickard and Brandon but instead, an alliance which could have resulted in a war with him having more allies than reach, dorne and crownlands. Aerys (with viserys as his heir) vs Rhaegar should have happened, but it got all messed up and that pisses me off the most.

Also, the rhaegar/lyanna business isn't clear cut enough. was it consensual, did it start off consensual but later got complicated, or was it outright kidnap?? We won't know until the books come out, or that play- whichever comes first.

What i DO care about is how he went about it.....the crowning of lyanna in front of all the lords of the continent indirectly lowering the political power of his wife- which, given how the feudal society works, depends on her husband's regard for her. Which over time, could've been restored. but at that moment, it was an insult to her in front of the people. Next, the elopement. She was still in Crownlands while he took off to Dorne, his wife's homeland. How the personal dynamics were between them, we don't know. I doubt we'll ever know. It's all speculation and headcanons and fanfics nonnie.

Which is why I don't have anything against rhaegar stans/rhaelya stans. Now, had their attitude towards the critics been deplorable, (i didn't have to start shipping r/l btw to be friends with them) I wouldn't be interacting with them. They're a hell lot more accepting than the "we're the only ones right here, if you don't agree with us you're cancelled. Also #RadFeminism #PseudoActivism" crowd. As long as you have the basic decency and decorum to accept the opposing views of obscure af aspects like the issues among these three (because let's be fucking real here, we don't have the entire picture yet) and, idk, focus on the shared love for the main characters, who, y'know, are the ones actually driving the plot and who's heads we're very much acquainted with? over five whole books??? it's pretty easy to bond with people with whom you don't agree with on everything i would have had exactly four people to talk with if i had to avoid everyone i don't agree with on everything jfc

She will no longer "Embrace Destiny"

Destiny is more often that not a goal or fate one's life is chained to. If destiny is a force of the universe, no one can "control" destiny so to speak. However someone of a higher power, domain or "providence" can change the destiny of one with lesser power, control and/or knowledge (of their own destiny).

Kairi was only four years old when Apprentice Xehanort took her, experimented on her and shipped her off of her world for two purposes apparently:

1) For her "Heart of Pure Light" to resonate with the "key bearer" and lead Xehanort to them.

2) As of Melody of Memory, apparently Apprentice Xehanort also wanted Kairi to arrive in a world of neither light or darkness which could possibly be The Final World. Ironically, this would mean he was successful on both accounts by the end of this game.

However, it's clear up above Kairi is upset and that line of "You're the one who keeps messing with my fate" implies much like how Aqua finally figured out in Kh3/Remind that Xehanort possessed Terra, Kairi will finally find out how and why she was ripped away from her grandma and home of Radiant Garden. Not only that, but it shows us she never really had a choice in how her fate was twisted and manipulated to whichever way the Xehanorts needed at the time:

- Apprentice Xehanort shipping Kairi off to Sora and Riku

- Ansem SOD/Riku sacrificing Destiny Islands causing Kairi's heart to take refuge in Sora's heart.

-Xemnas and Xehanort taking Kairi to crystalize her heart to use as a final gambit to open Kingdom Hearts.

The next lines "If it weren't for you Sora and everyone would be safe...I won't let you walk away" indicate for Sora, her friends and herself, she will no longer allow anyone control over her destiny. She has the strength and determination now to make her own destiny and fight against anyone who messes with her fate again.

This is the reason I can see Kairi getting a new keyblade.

A lot of the main characters' keyblades are symbolic of their hearts and roles within the series, as well as how they've grown and evolved over the course of their journeys.

The most obvious case being Riku.

Riku

Kingdom Key> Soul Eater

The Kingdom Key was originally meant for Riku, as he was the keyblade's chosen. But when he chose to give in to the darkness the keyblade went to Sora instead, and of course Soul Eater was a weapon of darkness given to him by Maleficent to signify his alignment with her.

Soul Eater> Way to Dawn

It's in the name.

But seriously Way to Dawn is a perfect symbol of Riku's journey of acceptance of his darkness and redemption from kh1 to kh2. The keychain is the dark heart on his "Dark Riku" form which signified his complete fall to darkness. But from the keychain upwards we see the "Gazing Eye" encircled by an angel wing and demon wing, symbolizing Riku's decision against alignment with light or darkness. Afterwards majority of the blade is the demon wing from Soul Eater largely because Riku's role within kh2 is him working from the shadows undercover as Ansem and doing his best to distance himself from his friends who walk the path of light. However at the very end, an angel wing meets the large demon wing which is symbolic of us teaming up with Riku finally, as he showcases his mastery of light and darkness alongside Sora and friends.

Way to Dawn> Braveheart

In DDD, Riku materializes Soul Eater and questions his worthiness as a keyblade wielder. He still has doubts but still continues to hold on to his true motivations being to protect Sora. Riku accepts that he can use the power of darkness while standing firmly on the side of light to protect his friends. He no longer needs to find or follow the way to dawn, because by the end of DDD came the Dawn of Riku, a Keyblade Master and Guardian of Light.

And "Braveheart" is pretty simple. Riku found the strength to protect what matters, and it's perfectly symbolized by Riku's sacrifice for Sora.

"I'm ready now, I'm in control now."

Terra and Aqua (technically Ven as well) have never left home by the beginning of BBS and throughout the game they experience trials and tribulations that challenge their friendship and we see by their Keyblades at the end the results of these trials.

Terra

Earthshaker> Ends of the Earth

Strong and powerful, after hearing Riku's motivation for strength being his friends he bestowed upon him the keyblade which reignited his devotion to his friends. This is also symbolized with Lingering Will, as that's the keyblade he's left with. He'll go to the ends of the earth to save his friends and right his wrongs.

Ends of the Earth> Chaos Ripper

Terra's devotion to protect his friends turns into rage against Xehanort for killing Eraqus, taking his home and manipulating him. Allowing darkness to further consume his heart.

Aqua

Rainfell> Stormfall

Aqua's journey mostly consist with things happening around her and to her friends. Aqua being the only master of the three and worried for their safety, Aqua does her best to assume responsibility and watch over them. Much like rain, it was a light and simple task. But Xehanort's manipulations and temptations with both Terra and Ven, increased Aqua's worry and need to have control over her friends to keep them out of danger. Unfortunately certain seeds had already been planted amongst them, causing Aqua's worry and concern to come off as patronizing and distrustful of her friends. This weakened the trust in the bonds they share making her job to protect them even more difficult and adding to the weight of responsibility she carries.

Stormfall> Brightcrest

Terra and Ventus have both lost their hearts to darkness. With Venuts sleeping in Castle Oblivion and Terra taken over by Xehanort, Aqua was their only chance of ever coming back. She was the only one who knew how to find Ventus and the only one left to defeat Xehanort once and for all. She stood tall and was willing to risk it all for her friends, she was their "light in the darkness".

Ventus

Wayward Wind + Lost Memory

Ventus' keyblade is the only one that doesn't evolve or change throughout the game. Instead Lost Memory is gained when Vanitas forces Ventus to remember how he came to be. Ventus gains a newfound acceptance for his fate with this knowledge and only cares if his friends are safe.

Axel/Lea (Dark Rescue)

Flame Liberator

Axel betrayed the organization. Axel did everything he could to keep Roxas and Xion unaware of the truth so they could live in blissful ignorance (or be happy). He saved Sora at the last minute in DDD and made it his mission in KH3 to get Roxas back. He even declared to Saix that he would bring him home as well. His keyblade represents his determination to save and free his friends from a cruel fate.

Destiny's Embrace also tells a story for Kairi, but much like how she got it, the symbolism isn't representative of her personal journey.

- The keychain of Destiny's Embrace is funny enough, a popular fruit. When two people share paopu fruits, their destinies become intertwined.

- The chain, unlike many others is a red thread in knots, most likely representative of the Red String of Destiny. The "Destiny Knot" (pokemon references ftw) is what ties two people together romantically or what ties two destinies together.

- The hilt of the keyblade is the King chess piece. The king in this case referring to Sora (Crown, Throne, Holds his keyblade like King Arthur in artwork). To me this is symbolic of how Kairi has literally held Sora's fate or destiny in her hands at certain points in the series.

• In kh1, Kairi reverts Sora back from a heartless/the darkness after sacrificing himself to restore her heart.

• In khcom, in order for Sora to regain his memories, he has to focus on his "light in the darkness".

• In kh2, it's not until after reading Kairi's letter to him that the Door to Light opens the way for Sora and Riku to return to Destiny Islands in the realm of light.

• In kh3, it's Kairi's light that keeps Sora from fading away within the demon tide and holds him together so he can save the other guardians.

- Surrounding the grip is a heart with half of it having a sea/ocean/wave aesthetic. It could be representative of Kairi's heart and the heart of her nobody counterpart Namine, whose name means wave.

- Half of the heart with the vine extending down the blade is identical to the keychains of Sora's Ultima Weapons in kh1,2,DDD,3.

The crown connects to the heart which belongs to both Kairi and Namine which makes sense because Sora and Kairi together created Namine.

- I'm not sure what the blade symbolizes aside from maybe fire because of her entanglement with Axel (doubt) or more likely the fires of Kairi's determination to improve, so she can stand by Sora and Riku.

- The flowers at the end with "logo" heart of course represents Radiant Garden. I think Nomura always planned to explore Kairi's past at some point especially with how connected it is to Union X, and that Kairi as well her grandma would be the bridge connecting the past and the present.

However, because of kh3 and most likely M.O.M, I think Kairi will quite literally be freed from "Destiny's Embrace", both Xehanort and the keyblade.

Like I said before, a lot of the symbolism for Destiny's Embrace is externally based. Mostly because Kairi never gets the chance to shine nor do we get to see what's going on inside of her head. Some of this is also because of Kairi's reluctance to bring up her past trauma when asked about it.

• Sora is gone, no need to be a plot device/motivation for him. Instead it's the other way around.

• Namine is her own person now.

• Melody of Memory will finally tackle and resolve Kairi's past.

Everything Destiny's Embrace represents will be resolved by the end of Melody of Memory. So just like how Riku completed his Darkness character arc by the end of DDD and got Way to Dawn replaced by Braveheart as a symbol of his newfound growth, either by the end of M.O.M or in KH4 Kairi will be rid off all of the things holding her character back from truly growing on a narrative and meta level and the keyblade that symbolizes all of those things:

Episode 1:

Cas is slowly dying, practically naked, in a bed, and the first thing he says when talking about Dean is "I miss him" (6:35), with a soft smile. "Why would he just disappear?"

... I'm sorry but If Cas Were A Woman, this would look like a scene from a movie or something, where the wife talks to a friend over the phone about her missing husband. JUST SAYING

Crowley: "The girl seemed nice. Slightly damaged. I could see the old you falling for that." (9:29) uhm... who else is "nice and slightly" damaged? I don't know... CASTIEL??!!!

So... these two men (actors Todd Mann and Brad Mann) we see with the DemonGang, are real life twins (9:14).

At (27:18), Crowley states him and Dean did "extroardinary things to triplets" ... and, well, the only twins with a possible other sibling we see are... them

And this is not the first time we hear about Dean doing "things to triplets" with a buddy of his (15x07)... and the first time he was NOT a demon... so, there's that. And triplets don't necessarily mean "all females"

Cas, while talking about the good things that come with choices, mentions "hope, love, dreams" (39:06), and Hannah points out that "those are human things". Human things...

Cas is talking about his own personal experiences with creating chaos, so those are the things he felt after rebelling for... Dean... WOW. ICWAW, it would totally be read it as a reference to Dean. A romantic one. Fight me

Episode 2:

Cas is dying, just got back from a fight that left him wounded, doesn't have enough power to heal himself, is on a mission to restore Heaven, and once again he chooses to go save Dean (9:35), and the way rage builds in his eyes when learning Dean has become a demon. Look at this shit

I might be crazy, but this feels like a touching metaphor to me:

"I think you don't know what you want. Tell me, Dean. What are you? A demon? [...] Maybe you're human. [...] Why don't you do us all a great, big favor... and pick a bloody side!" (22:22)

Episode 3:

We are reminded that, even tho in terrible conditions, on the verge of death, Cas is willing to risk it all to save Dean, and is devastated by the thought of Dean not making it (4:47 - 5:17)

This is so funny to me, I'm sorry, but Cas is so visibly uncomfortable with Hannah touching him, it's hilarious (15:58)

"I've been around humans for long enough to see how easily distractions occur. Emotions, feelings... They're dangerous temptations." (22:32) like rebelling against your own kind, destroying your home, falling... all for a human?

"I'm trying to keep our priorities clear." Moments earlier, Cas listed "Getting to Dean" (22:17) before anything else. In fact, Hannah says "I am very clear of my priorities... and yours." = Dean (23:00)

Cas is not sure whether the cure will kill Dean or not, and in any case, he wraps his arms around him, and softly says "It's over... Dean it's over." (35:40) as if hushing him to sleep, in what could have been their last moments together... wow. Think about this ICWAW

"Well, I can see his point. Only humans can feel real joy, but... also such profound pain. This is easier." (36:17) Look at the way Sam is looking at Cas looking at Dean

In all of this, Cas is trying to make Dean feel better about the whole situation (DAT SMILE 40:18), and Dean replies with "I'm glad you're back, man.", basically no-homoing himself...

Cas starts walking out of the room, but stops and turns back [insert concerned husband here] (40:27), and Dean has that hopeful look in his eyes, like Cas is going to stay, and the hurtful look comes back as soon as Cas is gone

Episode 4:

"On your knees!" "Wow, I'm awfully flattered-" (34:33) SASSY BI DEAN IS THE DEAN WE DESERVE

Episode 5:

Fucking kill me NOW!!! Dean's reaction to Destiel is PRICELESS!! And even before he learns what that is, he just looks at the girls playing him and Cas and... freezes for a moment (13:18) And the eyebrow raise thingy at (13:34)... what's going on in your brain, Dean?

I'd like to point out that the Italian translation for "You can't spell 'subtext' without S-E-X" is, for once, AMAZING:

"It's just that... their bond is so strong it has subtext of a... sexual nature."

"There's things... people, feelings that I... I would experience differently than I had before. Or even for the first time." (25:28) and the priest believes Dean is talking about love.

Well... "people, feelings"... who could he be referring to? Does Dean want love all of a sudden? People he wants to experience for the first time... uhmmmm... Is Dean opening up to his attraction to MEN??!! Or one angel in particular?

Dean is overwhelmed by Charlie's death, Sam and Cas' betrayal, the Mark changing him and all the other shit.

The Mark is taking over, and Dean can't (and won't) help it. Cas knows it. He doesn't want to hurt Dean. He is not even resisting. Doesn't put up a fight.

And just like Colette with Cain, Castiel only asks Dean one thing: "Stop." (40:38) [9x11]

The only thing that stops Cas from killing Dean, is him begging, clutching onto his sleeve.

Anais:

1. She's really really good at climbing trees, and really fast at it too. It was originally a skill she picked up to better her hunting (high ground is always the best place to shoot from), but it came in handy while she was on the run too. She spent a lot of nights sleeping in trees when beds were hard to come by.

2. She's got quite a few piercings and tattoos. Some of them were from her rebellious phase when it was just her and her mom, some of them are from her time with the bandit group in Cyrodiil, but her first was when she came of age. It was the symbol of Hircine on her right shoulder, it's was a right of passage in her family, meant as a way of showing their devotion.

3. Though magic isn't her strong suit (read: she sucks at it), she's a little above average with her restoration. She originally picked up some simple healing spells from some priests while she was on the run, but since she started traveling with others she's taken it upon herself to learn as much as possible so she can keep her friends safe if need be.

4. She is very easily startled. Even when her guard is up while on the job, if someone manages to take her by surprise she'll let out a yelp before putting the hurt on em. Her friends have learned that scaring her isn't the best way to prank her if you wanna keep your teeth intact.

5. Since gaining the allegiance of Odahviing and co. they've taken it upon themselves to give her a name in Dovahzul. Since she is both mortal and dovah, and Anais is her mortal name and Dovahkiin is too impersonal, they've taken to calling her Aazmornir, meaning mercy, glory, hunt.

Murza:

1. Yamarz, the chief of Largashbur during the cursed tribe quest, is Murza's older brother. He over took their father just after she left the stronghold.

2. Ugor and her were best friends growing up, but as they grew up Ugor's dedication to protecting the stronghold and Murza's desire to leave caused them to drift apart.

3. She hates sweet food, they make her teeth hurt. She hates mead for the same reason and hates how hard it is to find almost anything else to drink.

4. One of the things she and Anais bond over is their shared love of dogs. When adventuring and world saving becomes burdensome, the two of them like to discuss future plans to breed and train dogs together.

5. Though she used to be curious about dwemer technology, after doing numerous ruin dives with Anais, she doesn't really find it all that interesting anymore. *not ordered in which is better or worse, but it will be in chronological order*

Also some things are worded weirdly. I have a pain in the ass time trying to get my thoughts across in words so... I thank you for your patience :))

1) The scene where Callum, Ezran, and Rayla find the dragon prince. Ep. 2

I think this is one of the more pivotal moments in the show. I mean it is literally the scene that sets the story in motion after all! Two human princes, an elf assassin, and the lost dragon prince (who was thought to be dead/gone/egg destroyed(?)).. this is just IT.

*also i’m aware that Ez probably found the egg first cos he already knew about this secret area but still

2) Viren (attempts to) proposes the idea to trade his life in for Harrow. Ep. 3

Now there are other well thought and well written posts on this scene with Viren and Harrow, so I won't waste your time with all the gushy stuff. I find this scene important because it shows the lengths that Viren would go for his friend. Whether he's doing out of the goodness of his heart or some other selfish reason... maybe both(?)..

In the book Moon, it dives deeper into the plot along with expressing the characters' thoughts and feelings. As for Viren, it's stated in the book that he wanted to:

"offer his life for Harrow's, but he wanted him to understand that this was more than just a sacrifice of a subject to his king. This was personal"

"... he would need to be straightforward. He wanted to say simply I love you and I will die for you" (Ehasz 80).

I have no doubts that Viren didn't not love Harrow or anything of the sorts, but at the same time it feels like there was another motive. Maybe there was, who knows.

All we know about Viren is that he's a father of two (Claudia & Soren), divorced/ separated from his wife, and he's a dark mage. Of course there's some more (like he's taller than Harrow according to the character line up)... also his staff... like if you look at it, it's the same one as the mage who faced Sol Regem all those centuries (?) ago. Maybe he's related to him, or possibly descended from one of the followers. I'd imagine that teaching dark magic may be a thing within his family and ancestors... he taught Claudia dark magic. That doesn't prove anything but it's a small thought.

ANYWAY-- this scene is one of many scenes that show Viren in a vulnerable state. The book gives a look into how he felt when he decided to sacrifice himself and everything. It's just interesting and I'm here for it. 

3) Amaya and her weapons grade baguette Ep. 4

On a less serious and more fun note, the fact that Amaya is a breakfast connoisseur is just perfect. Amazing. Fantabulous.

"As a breakfast connoisseur, she was offended that Ezran would neglect a hearty morning meal" (Ehasz 120).

I only emboldened and italicized "offended" because in the show YOU CAN LITERALLY SEE HER FACE WHEN EZ TELLS HER.

It's right at 13:36 time in the show... the slow zoom in and all 😂

4) Amaya and Gren meeting Viren at the statue Ep. 5

I’m trying to see if I should have paired this with the first scene where Amaya arrives first. That scene is pretty calm but has a somber feeling. It introduces the relationship of Amaya and Sarai without having to directly say it. 

But this scene here is... interesting. Not in a good way or bad way, but we see they’re reminiscing of the past. At some point, they all got along nicely. Callum even noted in his spellbook that Viren’s family became like a second family to him when he moved to the castle. 

This interaction was cute tho. It started out positive (sort of) with them joking about Viren eating the last jelly tart which pissed Sarai off lol. But then Viren went on to apologize to Amaya and reassured her that what he does is out of the goodness of his heart and love for Katolis. But...

“Aaaaand, he’s back, Amaya thought” (Ehasz 150). 

And then went on to sign that he’s on a bunch of bs. See? Even Amaya knows he’s full of shit lol. But really tho... it makes me wonder how much of bs Viren goes on even before the events of the current story line. 

5) Rayla saves Bait from the sea monster Ep. 5

Let us give a round of applause for Rayla going against her fear of water to save Bait, the grumpy frog who hates her. I think this just goes to show how compassionate Rayla really is. This would include the time when she goes back to grab bait back in the banther lodge in episode 4. 

6) Viren giving his kids their *secret* missions Ep. 6

Okay this isn’t just one scene. I cheated yeah yeah whatever >:3

When Viren is telling Soren what he must do when he finds the princes, at first he doesn’t fully get it, but then.. OH n0

Viren’s intentions are starting to unfold and come together as one. Like, this man just told his own SON that should he find the princes, he should kill them. This 18 yr old bby

And Viren didn’t say it aloud, but he heavily implied it. Only to then gaslight him later on when Claudia confronts him in prison. 

As for Claudia, Viren tells her that she must retrieve the egg. And do everything in her power to bring it back, even if it means that she’ll have to sacrifice Soren... her own damn brother ;-;

7) When Callum finally lets Rayla hold the egg Ep. 6

This scene is pretty big. Rayla knows that Harrow is long gone and is trying to find a way to tell them. Obviously she doesn’t choose the best time to try it.

They were in a dire situation that could potentially kill them (even tho they had plenty of those moments already). The reason why this scene is so big is because it shows her struggle to break the bad news (ever since the right binding fell) as she continues to grow closer to them. Here you can see Callum passing the egg to her, despite her hand being in the terrible state that it is in. It is also the scene where right before passing it, he finally tells Rayla that he trusts her. 

8) Human Rayla!! Ep. 7

Human Rayla is so corny but it’s the good kind of corny. One of the best comedic jokes in the series! 

That is all cos human Rayla needs an AU of being a nighttime tv host or smthg

9) Viren and Runaan Ep. 8

yo this is alot okay. The scenes with these two introduced some Moonshadow philosophy and such (ie. not being scared of death). Runaan being the stoic and serious assassin that he is. And Viren not having any of this shit. 

There are three major things here:

 Runaan knows about the mirror and is most likely aware of who Aaravos is. He literally says, “That mirror? You have found something worse than death.” Goddamn...

And then Viren just... trapped his soul.. his essence into a goddamn coin. Just like that? wow. And hold it, almost admiring it in front of Gren. 

Also this is the first time we officially see Viren in that form. In the beginning of episode 5 we are given a darkened silhouette of Viren and the butterflies. But here we see the damage resulted from years of having done dark magic, and it’s horrifying. He is the high mage and all but goddamn. I mean with every action there are consequences so- 

10) Callum destroying the primal stone Ep. 9

I feel like this is one of the “of course it’s this one!” scenes but it really is! Callum realizes that only a sky dragon can be hatched in the eye of storm and there he is with a literal storm in his hand. By now, Callum has come to understanding what feels right and that being a mage is his destiny. But he also understands that he needs to sacrifice some things for new beginnings. This whole journey was to get the lost dragon prince home and restore balance and peace and with the egg starting to die... well you can’t really do that without the egg. 

It’s at 18:50 where he realizes all of this. It’s one of the big boy moments in the show. Seriously, it’s a big moment and the suspension helped get the feels in. And we got a cute baby dragon!! 

End, begin. it’s all the same. (pls someone get that reference ;-;;;)

Some honorable mentions:

- Episode 7: Claudia and Soren interacting. I love their sibling bond; it’s so silly and sweet and I love it. It makes me wish I had an older brother of some sort. 

Ellis and Ava,, I like the flashback story given when they meet the dragang. I just like it, okay? Smol chiald w/ smol wolf pup and a hippie Lujaane seeing the beauty & strength in Ava. 

CGI Coran. That all I have to say about that guy lmao

- Episode 8: When the group is going up the cursed caldera and they encounter that giant leech. Like can we just appreciate Callum’s funny way of making out a plan? Fat respect for that. 

Another is when the group split up and waited for the leech to leave. The conversation between Ellis and Callum were sweet as was the one between Rayla and Ez. I loved Ellis’s admiration for Callum being a mage. And her expectations of what a mage was is pretty hilarious. So wholesome. The same goes for Ez when he gave Rayla that daily fill of positivity. 

Like... Ellis is telling Callum how smart and confident and cool he is. And meanwhile Callum is like... it’s not me, it’s this. *whips out primal stone* And she goes on to tell him that she believe he’ll be amazing with or without the stone. 

And Rayla is telling Ez how she failed in her job of killing the enemy. And Ez is telling her how she’s awesome at everything she does.

this is the positive wholesome shit I come for like... this is parallels but GODDAMNIT it’s so.. ;;;;-;;

Yo this is long ENOUGH! Thank you so damn much if you read to the end. You’re the real beauties. Anywho... uh parts 2 and 3 will be up soon.
