You’re leaning against a wooden crate while Grover proceeds to explain why Clarisse is the lightning thief. The pounding of your heart was the only thing you made yourself hear, tuning out of the conversation. You couldn’t believe it. You refuse to believe it. Clarisse wouldn’t do something like that. Something’s wrong. They are wrong.
“Y/n?” Percy stands in front of you, looking apologetic. You meet his gaze, realizing that they must have finished talking. You don’t say anything, figuring that your conflicting emotions are visible to them. “I’m sorry about Clarisse. I know that you think she’s not capable of stealing the lightning bolt, but all signs lead to her.”
The glare that you send Percy makes him flinch. “She didn’t do it.” You claim. Percy opens his mouth to protest, but you weren’t done talking. “I know she didn’t. I’m sure of it.” You say the words with such conviction that Percy can’t help but feel bad for you. You scowl upon seeing his sympathetic look, shaking your head. “Don’t give me that look.”
“Y/n…” Grover interjects, moving to stand beside Percy. “I know that this is hard to hear since Clarisse is your—” Grover cut himself off, “But there’s no other half-blood Ares could possibly want to protect except his favorite daughter.” He says softly, trying to reason with you.
You were far past reason, however. Not when Clarisse is involved. You walk a few steps closer to them, your jaw clenching. They both take a step back, their backs hitting a combination of crates and cages. They weren’t used to seeing you like this. They’ve watched you protect them from monsters, but they haven’t experienced being on the receiving end of your wrath. It was not a good feeling.
“Say one more word about Clarisse being the lightning thief and I will make sure none of us get to the underworld in time for the solstice.”
Grover and Percy merely nodded, too afraid to argue.
You retreated to the corner furthest away from them; feeling more exhausted than you had been since the quest began. A part of you wanted to ensure that Percy completes his quest and that he clears his and your father’s name, another part wants nothing more than to protect Clarisse, but the emotion that overpowers both is your anger.
How could they all just sit there and come to that conclusion without thinking it through? Their accusation didn’t even have that much of a backbone to support it with. You were mad at yourself for not being able to convince them otherwise. You were mad at Ares for taking Grover’s bait and for not ratting out the real thief, which you probably shouldn’t say out loud. Though, at this point, you didn’t care because tomorrow morning, Percy and Annabeth were going to send an Iris Message to camp and there will be nothing you can do to stop Chiron, Mr. D, and the rest of the demigods from going after Clarisse. You needed to act and you needed to act fast.
---
As soon as Percy, Annabeth, and Grover fell asleep, you stood up and silently moved to the truck’s doors. Percy was leaning against one of the cages, his eyes peacefully shut. Sometimes, you forget that he’s still a kid. He should be enjoying his childhood, not going off fighting monsters. But unfortunately, that’s just the way life goes when you’re a half-blood, being in constant danger. Yet another reason to be mad at the gods. You shake your head, trying to ignore the pang of guilt when you think about leaving your brother. If there had been another way, you would have taken it.
You just hope Percy forgives you when all of this is over.
…Or if he survives the solstice.
You stop in your tracks, wondering if what you’re about to do is the right decision to make when Annabeth starts to stir.
It was now or never.
You continue making your way to the door, but something in the corner of your eye stops you.
The bag that Ares gave.
There was something about it that drew you in. You know you shouldn’t, but you grab the bag, opening the top zipper. There was cash, clothes, and golden drachmas, exactly what the god of war said. You had no need for cash or clothes, so you take those out. You scoop a few drachmas and place the rest on the floor, putting the coins inside the bag since it would be handier than putting it in your pockets. You sling the bag over your shoulder and bolt for the doors, the metal making a loud bang the moment you force it open. Before either one of the trio could go after you, you were already a few miles ahead – or behind, depending on which direction you’re looking from – of them.
You don’t stop running until you reach a coast. You wanted to collapse in exhaustion, but you force yourself to keep going until your feet touch the water. Sighing in relief, you close your eyes, allowing the water to give you strength. The wind was chilly tonight, darkness looming above you. The possibility of war was getting closer yet here you were, having just abandoned your brother for Clarisse.
You didn’t know what you were going to do when you reached camp. Would you try convincing Chiron that Clarisse wasn’t the culprit? Would you run away with your girlfriend? Or would you take the blame despite not having the lightning bolt yourself?
You hear a whine before you, prompting you to open your eyes. A creature with the head and front legs of a horse but with the tail of a fish appeared in front of you, tilting its head a little. Your eyebrows scrunched in confusion, “Did my dad send you?” You asked.
Yes, my lady.
Your brows scrunch even more (if that was possible) at the term. Your hand reaches out to pet the hippocampus, the creature leaning into your touch. You were still surprised that your father, Poseidon, decided to help you. He did listen to your prayers most of the time, but you thought that he wasn’t your biggest fan at the moment, seeing how you were about to go to camp and possibly ruin his reputation. You guess you were wrong. A small smile graced its way onto your face as you mumble, “Thank you, father.” You get on the hippocampus, the creature making sure you were properly seated before it started moving.
---
The sun had completely risen by the time you reached camp. Being on a hippocampus was by far the best mode of transportation, in your opinion. You got good sleep this time. You get off of Summer (you learned that that was her name when you were trying to make conversation), your feet landing on the shore.
“Thank you, Summer. I promise I’ll give you a snack when I see you again.” You promise, smiling softly.
Summer made a noise of approval before diving back into the water.
You look towards the woods, feeling like something was about to go wrong. “You can’t back down now.” You mumble to yourself. Clarisse needed your help. This is the reason why you came back to camp. You will your feet to move, one foot in front of the other.
This wasn’t gonna end well.
---
Sneaking into camp was easy. Getting past the campers was the hard part. If they saw you, they would bombard you with questions. You can already sense the kind of questions they’d ask, the things they would say. You grit your teeth in annoyance. Everyone seemed to be doing something. Though, the number of campers in the archery practice range and the dining pavilion were smaller compared to the last time you were here. Odd. You shake your head, trudging forward, trying to look for Clarisse.
“You stupid moron! I told you. I didn’t steal the lightning bolt!”
Ah, there she was.
Your heart flutters upon hearing her voice. There was no mistaking that that was her.
You see Luke get out of the armory. You could make out a figure behind him, a girl tied against one of the tables. Your expression hardens as you stare at the Hermes cabin councilor. Before he could meet your gaze, you hide behind one of the cabins.
Anger coursed through you again. Your fists clenched, leaning your head against the structure of the Zeus cabin. You wait for a minute, then another, then another, before you feel your anger subsiding. You use the back part of the cabins in order to get to the armory, rushing past groups of campers before they could spot you.
The armory was unguarded, which was a bad decision on Luke’s part. Like seriously? The armory is the best choice you can come up with to lock up the alleged thief in? There are dangerous weapons in there. If they had caught the real thief and locked them there, it would have been a bloody day. You scowl at their incompetence, but your expression morphs into one of worry when you open the door and see Clarisse.
She glances towards you, squinting her eyes from the harsh glare of the sun. “Y/n? What are you doing here?”
“I don’t have time to explain.” You march towards her and settle yourself in front of her. Her hands were tied. “Gods, what have they done to you?” You mutter, grabbing a dagger from the table above her and using it to cut the rope.
“They’re accusing me of stealing the lightning bolt, which is stupid because I didn’t do it. This must be Percy’s doing.” Clarisse grumbles, an apologetic look crossing her face after she says the last sentence. “Sorry. I know he’s your brother, but…”
“They’re wrong. I know.” You nod reassuringly. Not a second after you finish cutting the rope, Clarisse surges forward to pull you into an embrace. You laugh in surprise, pulling her closer, “Woah, there. Hi.” You close your eyes, inhaling her familiar scent. It was good to have her near you again. You let out a sigh of relief, placing your hand on her hair. “I missed you.” You say.
“I missed you too.” Clarisse replies before reluctantly pulling away. She places both of her hands on your face, as if memorizing it all over again. Her brows were scrunched as she looks at a scar that wasn’t there before you left and you found yourself wanting to ease her worries.
“It’s not as bad as it looks.”
She scowls. “You got hurt.”
“I’m okay now.” You insist. Before she asks follow-up questions, you try to state why you were here in the first place. “I tried to convince Percy, Grover, and Annabeth that you didn’t steal the lightning bolt, but they wouldn’t listen. So, I jumped out of the truck when they were sleeping. I got a few drachmas in case of emergencies. Then, I went to a beach, where a hippocampus appeared and brought me here. And now I’m realizing I didn’t think too far ahead because I don’t know what to do now. If I can’t convince Mr. D or Chiron that you’re innocent, I… We can run away. Yes, that we can do.”
“You did all of that for me?” Clarisse had an unreadable expression on her face. She looked like she wanted to kiss you, yell at you, and cry all at once.
Your brows furrow. “Of course I would. Why wouldn’t I?”
“You could’ve gotten hurt.”
“But I didn’t.”
“That was really stupid.” She says.
“I know.”
“You jeopardized the quest.”
“I know.”
“You could’ve experienced your father’s wrath.”
“I know.” A small laugh escapes you.
Clarisse shakes her head, “You’re unbelievable, you know that?”
“Yes, so I’ve been told.” You roll your eyes.
“Gods, I love you.” Clarisse mumbles.
You sport a teasing grin, “Aww, you do?”
“Shut up.” She punches your shoulder playfully.
“Ouch!”
“What are you doing?”
Your playful banter came to an end when you hear Luke enter the front door, two of the kids from the Athena cabin standing behind him. You turn, stepping forward to stand in front of Clarisse. You’ve been in similar positions in the past, except she was the one protecting you. Now, it was time to return the favor.
Both Athena kids step forward on Luke’s signal, dragging both you and Clarisse outside, where there was a cluster of campers watching you.
Great, a show. Just what you needed.
“What were you doing with the lightning thief?” Luke questions.
It took a shake of Clarisse’s head to stop you from attacking him. You settled for “accidentally” stepping on his toes instead. “Clarisse is not the lightning thief.” You state. Around you, there stood at least two dozen campers. You spot Chiron and Mr. D amidst the campers and your eyes light up. “You don’t even have proof that she stole the lightning bolt, so how can you be so sure that it’s her?”
Luke ignores your question entirely. “Just give up, Y/n. Stop protecting her. You know that she stole it. We all do.”
“She didn’t steal it!” You yell, meeting Luke’s eyes. It felt like having a staring contest with a statue.
“Yeah, well, how do you know?!” His voice raises to match yours, his cold gaze almost scaring you. Almost.
You fall silent, not having a proper answer to that. Truth was, you didn’t. You could just feel it. But making choices based on feelings isn’t a good enough reason for anyone in this camp. You turn towards Chiron for help, but he doesn’t say anything. The entirety of the Ares cabin is quiet as well. That’s when it occurs to you that if they don’t speak up, there is a zero percent chance that anyone else will.
Luke appears smug, as if he had proved his point. “Exa—”
“Because I did it.”
You shock even yourself at your words, but you do nothing to take them back. You weren’t able to see any other option left. You were surrounded. If you’d try to escape with Clarisse, you weren’t making it out of camp alive. This was your last resort.
“What?” Clarisse says beside you, her voice barely above a whisper. You force yourself not to look at her. You wouldn’t be able to stand the look of betrayal on her face. You’d rather have her hating you than have her punished for something she didn’t do.
Luke scoffs, “No, you didn’t.”
“Yes, I did.”
You don’t break eye contact with Luke as you say the words, ignoring Clarisse’s screams of protest.
For once, Luke was taken aback. He keeps shaking his head, “No, you’re lying. Just give up already. You can’t protect her anymore.”
“I stole the lightning bolt.” You say, louder this time around.
“Miss L/n, that is a serious admission.” Chiron says, his tone grave. You could see the apprehension in his eyes. “Are you sure you stole the lightning bolt?”
“She’s bluffing.” Luke announces, but he sounds unsure.
Your bag grows heavier, as if someone placed a boulder inside it while you were talking to Luke. It was too much to carry. Naturally, you removed the bag from your shoulder, setting it down on the grass. You open the backpack’s zipper, your breath hitching when you see the thing that has been weighing it down. You pull it out of the bag, hearing gasps and words of alarm from the campers.
The bolt crackled in your hand, the color mesmerizing you. You tilt your head with a sly grin, your eyes fixed on Luke.
“Do you believe me now?”

we can't be friends (wait for your love) | luke castellan
synopsis: where luke survives the battle of manhattan and returns to camp half blood, only to see you (his ex) in a new relationship.
based on we can't be friends (wait for your love) by ariana grande
luke didn’t plan on making it out alive from the battle of manhattan, but here he was, back in camp half blood, wishing that he succumbed to his wounds instead of fighting to stay alive. the camp was different, cold and foreign to him, even though he’d spent a good chunk of his life on the campgrounds. all his best and worst memories were made at camp half blood, but that life seemed unreachable now. at this point, luke didn’t know if the memories that he recalled were actually his or if they were just tricks kronos was still pulling on him.
the campers knew him as the ‘traitor.’ the kids he used to help with their sword skills cowered in fear whenever he approached them. the apollo kids only tended to his wounds because they had to and even then, they glared at him and wrapped the bandages just tight enough not to cut off blood flow. the satyrs who used to slip him strawberries from their fields, spoke about him in hushed whispers whenever he walked by them. but the thing that hurt the most was seeing you walk around with theo harvey, hand in hand, just like he used to do with you.
he didn’t have the right to be upset. it’s been years since the two of you were last together, years since he held your hand in his, kissed your lips, felt you asleep on his chest. it was before he turned into this monster with hands stained with the blood of the people he considered friends, considered family. he knew you’d move on. he told himself that he wanted you to be happy, to receive the love that you deserved, but selfishly, he knew deep down that he wanted you to have that with him– not the theo harvey, child of athena, favored by the gods.
at first, luke thought he’d be able to make it through the summer. as far as he knew, the older kids didn’t stay at camp half blood throughout the year, but he was thoroughly disappointed when he found out that a lot of the older kids stayed to guard camp just in case something happened. luke blamed himself for his own suffering. getting used as kronos’ host hurt less than seeing your lipgloss on theo’s cheek when they sparred; or noticing that the necklace he made for you when he was 15 was replaced by the one that theo bought you; or hearing your giggles from across the campfire while theo whispered corny jokes in your ear. he did this to himself.
it made him sick to his stomach. he discreetly moved into the poseidon cabin with percy (he grew tired of his siblings falling silent every time he walked into the hermes cabin. he no longer knew how to sleep in silence because it was always loud and rowdy when his siblings were involved, but alas, that changed too). luke was scared of it at first, knowing that he was on thin ice with the gods, but percy, being percy, scoffed.
“you already tried to dethrone them,” the younger boy joked, trying to lighten luke’s broody demeanor, “i think you staying in a cabin you’re not assigned to is on the bottom of your list of offenses.”
“dude. too soon.”
“my bad.”
the trio tried their best to cheer luke up. they knew that it was probably difficult for him to come back to camp after everything, but it became clear quickly that luke’s mood was not just due to everyone at camp hating him, but rather because one person at camp wanted nothing to do with him.
anyone who saw you and luke interact before everything went down, knew that there was something between you guys that nothing in the world could touch. none of them knew the extent of your bond until it was your voice that snapped luke out of kronos’ control. it took one word. one syllable. luke. the second he heard your voice, it was like a switch was flipped in luke’s brain.
percy made an ill-timed joke after the dust cleared, “if y/n was all it took to bring you back, we would’ve dragged her to see you a long time ago, buddy. would’ve saved us a lot of time.”
“percy.”
on the way back to chb, luke revealed that he made a deal with kronos to keep you out of harm’s way. he only agreed to be kronos’ host if it meant that he would protect you, keep you away from all the bloodshed of the war. the titan agreed but underestimated your stubbornness and prowess. when you showed up to the battle of manhattan, a part of kronos knew that his plan was spoiled.
so luke’s actions, sulking during meals, spending too many hours training, opting to be alone, made sense to them. you hadn’t so much looked in his direction since he arrived at camp half blood; not even a smile, a wave, an acknowledgment of his presence. it was painful to watch luke stare at you from across the room, longing evident on his face, only breaking his gaze when theo finally showed up to take his usual spot next to you. luke still loved you, that part was clear, but at what point was it too much?
annabeth, who’d watched your love story unfold, and was your number one fan, was heartbroken to watch your relationship crumble. she liked theo, her half-sibling was great, but luke was her brother and as much as he messed up, she felt bad for him. you were it for luke. if luke was going to end up with someone, it was you. she always believed that it was written in the stars, crafted by the hands of fate, professed by the goddess of love herself, that in this life you and luke would prevail and when your time came to exist in the afterlife, you’d find each other in elysium. but with how things were looking, annabeth began to question her own belief system.
it happened during one of the many nights luke couldn’t fall asleep, no matter how hard he tried. he threw on one of the hoodies he left behind at camp before sneaking out of the poseidon cabin to smoke a cigarette, a habit he picked up during his days on princess andromeda.
he saw you then, standing by the lake seemingly on patrol. he didn’t know that you’d be assigned to guard tonight. if he did, he probably wouldn’t have come out of the cabin. as much as he stared at you and scratched at his palms wanting to talk to you, he never made an effort to. he knew you well enough to know when you wanted nothing to do with someone and how you were treating him right now made your intentions very clear.
luke was trying his best to be quiet, but he accidentally burned the tip of his thumb with his lighter and let out a hiss. you turned around immediately, sword drawn, in a fighting stance. you narrowed your eyes, trying to make out who was out of the cabins this late at night.
“shit,” luke mumbled, stuffing his cig and lighter in his pocket. he’d been so distracted looking at you, trying to hide himself, that he didn’t notice the fire was so close to his skin. he raised his hands up, trying to show that he wasn’t looking for trouble, “i-i’ts uh, it’s just me. sorry, i didn’t mean to scare you.”
you froze in your spot, arm slowly falling to your side. you placed your sword back in its place, walking over to him, “luke?”
it was pathetic how the corners of his lips quirked up in a smile at the sound of his name leaving your lips. he hadn’t heard it since that day and it made a warmth spread across his chest. he wiped the smile off his face as you got close enough to see him, afraid that you’d think he was making a joke out of the situation. he stood there awkwardly as your eyes studied his face and his body, probably assessing if he was a threat.
“hey, y/n,” your name tasted sour in his mouth. he hadn’t called you that in years, always referring to you as baby, or babe, or love, or another cringy pet name that you pretended to hate but the blush on your cheeks said otherwise. using your real name felt too formal, like you were strangers. perhaps you considered him a stranger now. the idea made luke want to disappear. “i just uh, came out to get some fresh air.”
you stayed silent, pursing your lips as you continued to stare at him. luke tried not to think about how much of a mess he looked right now. the sweater was a size too small on him, sleeves falling short on his wrists. his pajama pants were wrinkled and stained with mud where they dragged on the floor on his way to the lake. his curls were a mess on his head. he ran a hand through his hair one too many times while he tossed and turned on his cot. the bags under his eyes weren’t the most flattering and the smaller scars that had been added on his face since the battle were disgusting to look at.
he cleared his throat, “i can go back to the cabin, i-it’s really not a big deal. i’ll just crack a window open or something.”
“where are you staying?” you asked, crossing your arms over your chest, “i know you’re not sleeping in the hermes cabin. the stolls told me you haven’t been there in days.”
luke rubbed the back of his neck, “i’ve been staying with percy. ‘m not really welcomed in my cabin right now.”
“i see,” you replied.
“yeah.”
“you need to stop it.”
luke gulped, “stop what?”
“staring at me,” you licked your lips before taking your bottom lip between your teeth. you scruffed the bottom of your shoes on the grass, a tell that you were feeling awkward. he was brought back to the day you confessed your feelings for him.
you were sixteen, he seventeen, right after he returned from his quest. he’d taken you out into the woods to get away from the judgment of the campers about his failed quest. he was lying on his back, pointing out the constellations in the sky, when you got up with your hands on your back. you shyly rocked back and forth on the tips of your toes and the balls of your feet, staring down at him with a red flush on your cheeks.
you started dragging your feet on the floor, ignoring the dirt that kicked up from your actions that stuck on the fabric of your converses. you had mumbled that you liked him and luke couldn’t believe it. he asked you to repeat yourself, louder the second time, partly because he wanted to hear it again, and partly because he thought he was hearing things. when you groaned and walked away, fully believing that he was messing with you, luke jolted from his position and ran after you. he wrapped his arms around your waist and spun you around, proclaiming his own feelings for you in between fits of giggles and kisses to your cheek.
this scene was the opposite of that. your stare was cold and serious, needing to get this point across. luke thought you looked different. physically, you still looked like his y/n– same hair, same eyes, same lips, but the look on your face was distant. you’d never looked at him like this before, like you didn’t know him at all, like he had no place in the life you created for yourself. luke didn’t know if it hurt more to have you ignore him like you had been doing for weeks, or have you look at him like this.
“i have a boyfriend, luke,” you sighed, “you can’t keep looking at me like that.”
“i-i’m sorry,” he stuttered out, tears burning his eyes. “i just miss you.”
“please don’t do that,” you whispered, turning your head away from him. luke watched you wipe your tears with your forearm and all he wanted to do was engulf you in his arms like he’d done a million times before and hold you until the storm was over. “you don’t get to say things like that to me.”
luke rubbed his jaw, trying to keep his hands occupied, “you know i can never lie to you.”
“i need you to lie to me this time, okay?” you refused to look at him now. “i need you to say that you don’t feel anything for me anymore.”
“i can’t do that, y/n.”
“i spent years loving you and you left, luke. you chose to betray us,” you placed your palms on your stomach, trying to steady yourself. you felt like you couldn’t breathe. this is why you’d been avoiding him. you knew that the minute he made his way back into your life, you’d fall on your knees, at his mercy. a part of you knew that he wouldn’t do anything like that again, but you also knew that in the off-chance that he would, you wouldn’t survive a second blow. you barely made it out alive after the first one. losing luke for a second time would ruin you. “i like theo. i’m finally learning to live without you and i can’t lose all this progress over some wishful thinking. luke, i can’t do that.”
“it’s not wishful thinking,” luke replied, sniffling.
“stop it!” you sobbed, turning to look at him. your tears were streaming down your face, despair and hurt clouding your eyes, “stop it, please! i’m begging you to let me go. i-i can’t have you in my life. don’t you get it? i’m tethered to you. you’re the other half of my soul. you own a piece of my heart that i can never ever get back, but i-i’m exhausted trying to fight you off.”
luke’s shoulders deflated at the sound of agony in your voice. he took a step back, mouth opening and closing as he tried to will his mind to say something, anything, in response to you. but he couldn’t. where does he even start?
should he tell you that it was the memories with you that kept him sane all those years he was held captive? should he tell you that he visited camp half blood despite knowing that it would cause more harm than good during those years just in the hopes that he could catch a glimpse of you? should he tell you that when the corners of his vision began to blur, it was the feeling of your hands pressing against his wounds that made him fight to stay alive?
he’d stay alive just to feel your touch, warm and steady hands on his tattered skin as he’d always remembered, for a second longer. he’d use his last bit of strength to place a kiss on your knuckles, injuries be damned because he needed you to know how he felt. he’d use his last breath to tell you that you looked beautiful, bloodied and bruised, under the light of the world burning around you. he’d spend the rest of his life hated by everyone in the world just to have you glance in his direction. he’d spend his time in the afterlife in tartarus if it meant that he had a shot at rebirth, in a life where you loved him again.
“make it easier for me and put me out of my misery,” you choked out, “you at least owe me that decency.”
luke knew that he was difficult to love. his mom went crazy because she loved him. his dad abandoned him because he was too much. thalia hated him because of who he had become. annabeth still flinched when percy made jokes about kronos because it reminded her of what luke did. luke knew that loving him was a chore, a burden, but he never thought that loving him would cause someone so much suffering. especially not you, who told him once that loving him was effortless, as easy as breathing in oxygen in the air. you once said that loving him was simple. it was second nature to you.
now, he watched you cry out in pain. pain that he caused. and he knew he couldn’t in good conscience deny you of your request. luke stuffed his hands in his front pockets, “okay.”
he looked at you, for the last time, before walking away, stumbling in his steps as he left you alone.

Yan!Boyfriend Percy Jackson headcanons? 🩵
❝ 🌊 — lady l: here!! Hope you like it, anon! I want him, is it too much to ask? Sorry for any mistakes. 🥹🩵
❝tw: obsessive and possessive behavior, jealousy, implicit death and toxic relationships.
❝🌊pairing: yandere!percy jackson x gender neutral!reader.
Tumblr media
Percy is good to you, or at least, he tries his best to be good to you. He wants to be a good boyfriend and, if everything goes according to plan, your future husband. He wants to be the best in your life, someone who can never be replaced. You can't replace him. Never.
He tries everything, he does everything and a little more for you. Percy is always paying attention to everything you say, the moment you start talking, his attention will be on you and only you.
By always paying attention to you, and focusing as much of his attention on you as possible, Percy always knows what you need and when you need it. From knowing when you are feeling uncomfortable or even anticipating your actions. Like pulling out a chair for you or covering you with a warm blanket during cold nights. A real gentleman.
Percy is completely obsessive and overprotective, making the relationship suffocating at times. He just has to know that you're okay, he has to be sure that you're safe and that if something were to happen, you would call him without thinking twice. Percy is your protector, he has to protect you at any cost.
He is very sweet and kind, offering loving and encouraging smiles, looks full of devotion and whenever he has the opportunity, he will present you with something that he knows you will like. Especially if it's blue, anything blue.
Your relationship is suffocating, but you can't blame him. He has to care for you, love you and offer his entire being to you. Only for you. Percy knows it's you against the world and he will sacrifice the world for you if necessary. They don't matter, the gods, the humans, the monsters, they are nothing compared to you.
Your favorite moments are when you are in the water. He is a son of Poseidon, he is almost always in the water and having you there, wet and with your clothes stuck to your body, is paradise according to Percy. He loves to see you laugh when he splashes water on you or makes little waves with them, all to your pleasure.
Percy's love language is touching, not always with ulterior motives, but just because he likes it, because he needs it, to touch you, to know you're there. Always having an arm around your waist, or holding your hands, makes him happy because he knows you're there, just as much as he's there for you.
Percy is extremely jealous and possessive of you. He gets jealous very easily, it gets ridiculous, but he knows how to control himself. He'll just do something, to the person who made him jealous, if they cross him, cross you. You are an angel for putting up with all that, all those people. But don't worry, Percy will be with you no matter what.
He can't be away from you, he's too clingy. Percy needs to be close to you, and breathe the same air as you. If you spent all your time at the Camp, he would stay too, if you went to a school on the other side of the country, he would follow you. Everything to stay with you.
If you have to go on a mission, he will be with you. Percy will make sure he is your chosen companion, even if you has to have a third. Due to his overprotection, Percy rarely lets you fight. Even if you are Ares' child, he won't let you get actively involved. He can even put you in one of his water bubbles and send you to a safe place.
On the one hand, it is annoying but very effective. You don't remember a single monster being able to lay a finger on you. So maybe it's not all bad. After all, Percy does everything for love. Just because he loves you more than anything, right?
Percy can be a lot of things, very suffocating but he means well, most of the time. He does all this because he loves you, because he wants the best for you and wants to see you well. Your relationship is defined by your boyfriend's overprotectiveness and insecurity, but everything will be fine as long as you remain by his side. Never leave him or Percy won't be able to control his next actions.

You can ignore this if it's too much, but I remember you writing a small request involving a Percy Jackson crossover with Record of Ragnarok? One where a child of Loki falls into the Ragnarok dimension? Well... can I request something similar?
Like instead of just the child of the god falling through a portal alone, their mortal mother gets dragged along.
Like a child of Hades or Poseidon, since in the books (excuse me my knowledge on PJO is a bit faded) Neither of these gods are supposed to have kids because of an oath. So, when Zeus found out, he tries to kill the demigod child along with their mother, only for the pair to fall through a portal into Valhalla... where a different version of their father lives.
Neither Hades or Poseidon are prepared for the sudden fatherhood, but they're charmed by their new child... and the child's mother.
-It had been a chance encounter, running with your mother, the two of you trying to get away from the enraged Zeus, while your ‘father’ did nothing, not willing to stand against his brother.
-It wasn’t your fault that your father, Poseidon, had ignored the rule set by the Greek gods in not having anymore children, making demigods like you. It wasn’t your fault that you were born, and your mother raised you on her own.
-However, Zeus was not to be reasoned with, not willing to listen to your words or your mothers, as the two of you were more easily taken care of compared to his brother.
-You were desperate for help from anyone as you clutched your mother’s hand, trying to flee from a god, and by the grace of someone merciful, a swirling portal appeared in the pond you were hiding near, glowing brightly with sparkles.
-You hesitated, only for a moment before holding onto your mother, “Let’s go mama!” she was scared too, but held your hand as the two of you leapt into the portal which closed instantly behind you.
-You landed hard on your rear and your mother behind you, landing a bit more gracefully before you opened your eyes and froze, seeing Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon there, but they were different, they weren’t like the ones from your world.
-You immediately stood, standing in front of your mother to protect her, your eyes sharp as Zeus approached, an amused look on his face, “Oh ho~~~ seems like this is another one of the demigod children from another world. It looks like you two have had a rough time.”
-You were distrusting of these three before Hades came over, offering an explanation on how a few portals had opened from your world to this world, for the children of the gods, bringing them here where it’s safer for them.
-Your mother put her hand on your shoulder, listening to them, “Are we truly safe here?” Hades nodded softly, seeing her concern and she relaxed, sighing softly.
-Zeus felt a bit sheepish when you told him how that Zeus had been the one chasing you two, trying to kill you despite it was your father, Poseidon who broke the rule.
-When Zeus heard that Poseidon was your father, he was quickly on the ground, dying from laughter, pointing at Poseidon who looked surprised to learn this, that you were his child from another world.
-Poseidon knew it was karma for being kind of a pain all these years when he agreed to take you both in, as you were his child, that you were a sassy pants, not trusting him as you hated the Poseidon from your world for abandoning your mother.
-You were a bright child however, full of life and personality, despite it being a rough personality at times, but Poseidon could see so much of himself in you, as you were determined, and you loved the ocean.
-Surprisingly, your mother warmed up to Poseidon pretty quickly, as she was witty and sassy as well, being able to take the god by surprise a few times in their conversations and it was hard for him not to fall for her.
-You were, not surprisingly, a little salty about this, as you didn’t fully trust this Poseidon, thinking he was like your real sperm donor, but your parents took it all in stride, letting you cope in your own time but not forcing you.
-It took time, as well as meeting some of the other kids from your world who came to this world, to learn that these gods were not the same as the gods back in your original world. They were willing to be parents to the children who were abandoned.
-Poseidon took you out one day, on a suggestion from your mother, for ice cream and as the two of you sat on the beach together, you turned your head away from him, “Thanks dad.”
-He almost dropped his ice cream but when he looked at you, you were still turned away, your face bright red, showing that you were a bit shy with showing emotion, just like him. He just lifted a hand to your head, ruffling softly, as the two of you enjoyed your treat.

How does Triton wedge himself into Mama Poseidon AU? Is he horrified that his father is wearing outfits that show him entirely too much of what his father brings to the table? Blame Percy for the fact that godly brain bleach doesn't work? Realize being a big brother has perks when that teary little pearl turns to you with baby seal eyes and insists they need blue cookies because Mom and Mama and Dadmum are too busy to ask (they're defiling Poseidons office again)?
I would say that Triton has less complicated feelings about Percy in this au than he does in canon. Less because his mother is so clearly involved with his life and adores him. I imagine with immortality (and just how gods are in general) knowing Too Much about each other is pretty common but Triton just tries not to think about it too much. (He could do without being the one who has to watch the kingdom when his mother and father decide afterwards that they’re going to start seeing Sally again.)
He does eventually bond with Percy and is quite fond of his younger sibling.

hey 😘 do you think you could write a percy jackson x sister reader. it's totally up to you and i'm good with anything but angst/annabeth involved with percy. thank you!!
The Curse of Aphrodite
Tumblr media
Pairing: Percy Jackson x Jackson!Reader
Warnings: implied in*est, sibling in*est, Aphrodite being petty
Words: 1866
Summary: You should have feared Aphrodite just as much as you feared Ares. She was terrifying, and her revenge might as well have just ruined your life.
(This is an older fic from my A03 but figure it was perfect for this request :>)
Another hectic day of being a demigod. Trying to keep a low profile from monsters and worst of all. . . getting through Valentine’s Day at school. All the pink hearts and cupids that littered the school’s halls was enough to make anyone grow nauseous. You and your brother Percy could only grin and bear it, for any grumpy comments might carry over to the Goddess of Love herself. She already wasn’t too pleased with Poseidon’s twins. Sure she was willing to give you and Percy advice last summer in that hellish junkyard, but it was for her own agenda and you didn’t like that one bit. And of course as all your friends were well aware of, you wore all your emotions on your sleeve. Including your distaste for the love goddess. Aphrodite saw it bright as day. Used to being adored by millions, she didn’t take too well to your disdain. For even though she let you and Percy out of her limo, you caught her once fluttery eyes ice over when she looked at you. You really should have listened to Annabeth and keep a mask on when you interacted with the gods.
Now you were going through one of the worst days of your life, and that's saying a lot. Everything that could go bad, did. And poor Percy was stuck with you for the entire ride.
“Here.” Percy handed you a slightly dampened paper towel.
Grumbling a ‘thank you’, you take it and dab the front of your shirt that was stained with spaghetti sauce. Your face was still red from the humiliation. Everyone had seen in the cafeteria how your tray of spaghetti seemed to explode onto you.
Percy had helped you clear a few noodles that had landed in your hair.
Gritting your teeth, you begin to rub furiously. “It HAS to be her. Of all freaking days!”
“You should have just been nice to her.”
“Not my fault that you were the googly-eyed one in front of her. That’s how her power works because guys don’t think with their brains!”
“Suiting since Ares doesn’t have any brains.” Snidely remarked Percy with a coy smile. Putting himself at risk just to make you smile was enough to make you dryly chuckle. Percy didn’t have it easy either. Him and Ares had been butting heads ever since your first summer at Camp Half-Blood. He should have feared the animosity that Ares possessed toward him. That was certainly one god you didn’t want to mess with.
Finally admitting defeat, you throw away your paper towel and simply sigh. “Can’t we just ditch for the rest of the day?”
As if he had been debating the same thing seconds ago, Percy easily replied “Mom would kill us. We already have a truancy record here anyway. We just have to push through it.”
That was the last thing you wanted to hear. Hearing it out loud made you want to cry out in frustration. Sitting on the dirty hallway floor next to you, Percy throws an arm over your shoulder. “We’ve been through worse days. In comparison, today is just an annoying hiccup.”
“Even fighting monsters I never had to deal with smelling like cafeteria spaghetti.”
You feel Percy begin to sniff you like a dog, prying a giggle out of you. “I don’t know. It’s not such a bad smell. I happen to like cafeteria spaghetti.”
Rolling your eyes, you offer “Want to switch shirts then?”
“No way!” Percy laughs. “I wouldn’t even be able to squeeze into it.”
Simply imagining Percy stretching out your shirt was enough to make you snort. You had always been the one with a temper and prone to dark moods. Percy, without fail, could find a way to make you laugh. He was your twin after all. No one knew you better than Percy did. He knew the inner workings of your mind and the remedies to whatever ailed you. Claiming it was his duty as the older twin to take care of his younger sibling. There was pride in his voice when he told you that.
“Thanks Perc.” you quietly whisper.
“No problem (nickname).”
That made you groan again. “I told you not to call me that in public.”
You help eachother up once the bell rings and sling your backpack over your shoulder. Of course as students swarmed the halls to get to their next class, many stared your way.
Percy squeezes your hand before leaving you for his own class. “Remember, we’ve been through worse than this.”
Nodding, you squeeze back in return. You were a daughter of Poseidon for crying out loud! Aphrodite didn’t scare you one bit. She can go ahead and make your clothes a mess as much as she wanted. You had fought deadlier monsters than the Lady of the Doves.
Glaring at a sparkly cut out of cupide, you internally challenge her.
Children of Poseidon truly did have seaweed for brains. When you thought you had made it through the school day, there was a storm waiting for you on the walk home. Not an actual storm thankfully, but one that would ruin your life regardless.
Outside of school there was hardly any reminder of the hallmark holiday except for a few flower vendors at each busy corner. Bouquets of red, white, and yellow roses were being sold by the dozen. Store window displays were decorated with multiple shades of pink. At least you were almost home where you could safely hide in your room, put the entire day behind you.
At one corner, Percy presses the crosswalk button while bouncing on his heels impatiently. You look across the street, past the zooming cars to see more street vendors selling Valentine’s Day treats and other cheap trinkets for desperate partners.
Crosswalk light alerting you that it was safe, you and Percy make your way to the other side.
Even though you hated the holiday, you enviously eyed the tasty looking treats for sale. Cookies shaped like conversation hearts caught your attention. They were well made and utterly cute.
Percy stops and looks over your shoulder. “You want one?” He picks up a cellophane package that had two of the cookies comfortably inside, tied off with a red ribbon. There’s even a blue one in here!”
Shocking, Percy liked the blue one. It made you smile how he would never change at least in that manner.
You scooch closer to your brother to read the icing on them. The blue cookie was on top, reading: Be Mine. The other one you couldn’t see as it was hiding behind the top.
“You two make such a cute couple.” An older lady with a knitted lilac beanie atop her crazy curls smiles at you and Percy.
Inwardly you vomit. “Actually-”
“We’re not-” Percy’s voice reacted at the same time with your own protest but the older lady just laughs.
“Aw to be young and shy. Because you two are so cute, I’ll give you them for free!”
Both you and Percy are quick to protest but they fall on deaf ears as she pushes the cookies further into Percy’s hands.
“I insist!”
Glancing at Percy you know he was just as exhausted with arguing with her as you were.
“Um, okay. Thank you so much.” Awkwardly, Percy unzips his backpack and places the cookies safely inside.
Grabbing his arm, you start hurrying the both of you away. “Thank you! You’re very generous!”Once you’re out of her hearing range you shudder. “Couldn’t she tell we’re related?”
“Probably not with those big, pink tinted, sunglasses.” Shrugs Percy. “At least we got free cookies out of it!”
“I’m kinda skeptical about them now.” Warily you shift your attention to his backpack. “It doesn’t make sense that she just let us have them for free.”
“Don’t knock on the first good thing that’s happened to you today!”
Exactly. It was too good to be true. If Annabeth were there, she would agree with you.
When you got home however, the smell of the cookies was simply too good for you to ignore.
Percy handed you the one that had been underneath the blue cookie. The icing was yellow, written on it simply: Love.
You inhale the sweet scent before biting into a corner. Percy hadn’t waited around to eat his cookie like you had.
“That has got to be the best cookie ever.” He comments through a semi-full mouth with cookie crumbs dusting the front of his shirt.
They were amazing. So delicious, you wished you had more to munch on.
“We should have gotten one for mom.” You mention while collapsing on the couch, remote in hand. Homework could wait. You needed to de-stress after the day you had. Your brother didn’t answer you as he had ventured to your shared bedroom. Not paying much attention, you flip through the channels. Down the hall you were able to hear Percy shuffling around the room.
And then a gagging noise.
You sit up. “You okay Perc?”
More gagging had you bolting from the couch and into your room where Percy was on his hands and knees. Back arched, his dry heaving continued.
“Per-” Oh no. A nauseous squirming sensation bubbling in your stomach. Incredibly uncomfortable, you brace yourself against the door frame. Your vision was spinning. For some reason, a memory popped into your head. You, sitting in the back of a limo, arms crossed while your brother did everything in his power to resist Aphrodite’s charm.
”Twins are so special.” She had said. “Have you heard the legend behind twins? They say lovers who commit suicide are reincarnated as twins. Isn’t that romantic?”
Just thinking of her voice made a shiver run through you.
Then it just stopped. Nausea gone and head back to normal, you open your eyes to find Percy recovering too. “Those stupid cookies. . .”
“I told you.” You remark with a small smile. Watching as your brother rolled himself into a sitting position, you run your hand over your forehead. Maybe you should call your mom so she could take you to the hospital. There was clearly something in those cookies. Perhaps you would even get sick again later. If you induced vomiting that should be enough to get it out of your system right?
“(y/n). . .” You heard Percy breathe out and you fear he’s about to feel sick again. When you look at him though, he’s staring right back at you with those gentle sea foam eyes of his. They were sparkling, a misty awe to them as your own heart fluttered in your chest. That’s when you felt like you were floating.
Percy blinked, unable to lift whatever spell the both of you were under.
You think back to your own cookie.
Love.
How stupid you had been. Aphrodite. Of course it was Aphrodite, and this was her curse. She must have been in disguise as the vendor. What a naive child you still were; you should have feared her just as you did Ares. Her vengeance was much more evil. For she could warp the sibling love you had for your twin. Warp it into another Greek Tragedy.

Percy Jackson & the Olympians episode 7 spoilers
If you asked me which part of the books I would cut from the series adaptation I would’ve told you definitely Procrustes. The thing is… Uncle Rick made sure that the whole scene with Procrustes wasn’t just a dumb trap on the side of the road like on the books. No, it was a confrontation between brothers about the theme that permeated the entire season, that is: how ridiculously f*ked up and dysfunctional the Olympian family is. And it’s amazing!
Having Grover lose the fourth pearl links with how he always gets the blame for himself in the first book due to his failure with Thalia. It works to remind us that he feels like he should be the most responsible person of the group, but can still make mistakes. And, seriously, it’s lot more in character for Poseidon to give them four pearls.
Somehow this adaptation makes me feel like the characters make a lot more sense than the original work they come from. Sally teaching Percy about Greek mythology from a young age sounds a lot more like Sally than just letting him grow up completely clueless about what he’ll have to face someday. Having her praying to Poseidon when she sees no other choice, and having him coming immediately to answer her, but not dare to see Percy in fear of the consequences looks a lot more like the Poseidon that loves Percy, but preferred to keep a distance for his safety. It sounds a lot more like the god that is still in love with Sally, but doesn’t want her involved in the family drama.
And can I have a round of applause for the most accurate depiction of Hades in recent history?! This man is just chilling in his house, living his best life away from the family drama, the dysfunctionality. He’s just thriving in his realm, alongside his wife (for half the year) and his dog, you know. Hades is just vibing, sipping his wine and watching his siblings fight over the most ridiculous things through TVHepheastus. And I love him for it!
This entire episode the only thing I was thinking is just how it’s all within the adaptation theme and all just makes so much sense for all the characters. Even the small chances they made for the adaptation had a positive impact that left me thinking it actually makes more sense if this character had made it this way in the source material too.

It's difficult to put into words exactly how I feel because there are some aspects I adore with my whole heart, and others that really don't sit well with me. Thoughts on PJO with spoilers are below the cut, with both positive and negative thoughts. Tl;dr I think the show is fine. Just fine.
The cast of this show is out of this world better than we could have ever hoped for, they really brought their A game and gave a phenomenal performance. I'm genuinely devastated we will never get to see more of Lance's Zeus because he felt born for that role. His quiet power, the danger in his stare that could turn in an INSTANT absolutely fucking ruled. Whoever takes over has big shoes to fill already and he was only in one scene!
The choice to really flesh out Sally as a more important part of the story and Percy's life was so, so special to me. I think this is the one aspect where the show shines above the book. Sally in the books makes a lot of tough choices for Percy's benefit, but we get to see that out of Percy's head and in Sally's for a bit.
Edit: I FORGOT POSEIDON!!! I liked the change with the deadline forcing Poseidon to take an active role and make a choice to protect Percy. I loved the Nereid sent to help Percy. Poseidon is far less passive in the series and I love that so, so much. In the same way we see why Sally would tempt a god, we also see why Percy is worthy of a God like Poseidon putting himself on the line.
But (and I know this will ruffle feathers because Uncle Rick was involved heavily so please understand I love him too, but our heroes are not infallible) think some of the writing choices were questionable. I understand they set out to tell a unique story from the books and I don't mind some of the changes. But my main issues were:
They really toned down Gabe. I don't know why or what the reasoning was, but it kind of feels like they thought "a strong woman like Sally wouldn't put up with abuse" was the way to go, which in itself doesn't sit well with me. But then you end up with her sticking with this kind of shitty husband, and I don't think they ever explained why! So if there is no emotional manipulation and there is no practical reason given, to someone who hasn't read the books it's like.... Sally Jackson went from Poseidon to THIS and stuck around? As far as I can tell Sally is the breadwinner too so what reason does she have, to someone who doesn't know about the smelly thing, for her to be here?????
Also I know that people will say "he figured out Kronos from clues, he figured out Luke from clues, and Hermes *probably* told him about Crusty" but I really think the show doesn't show its working enough. If enough people had the reaction that Percy was figuring out things a little too easily, EVEN IF it can be explained away, there's probably merit in the idea that they were kind of handing things to him to move the plot along. There was a lot of showing without telling happening.
It also felt a little like some of those reveals, particularly Kronos, could and should have gone to Annabeth instead. They sort of piled a lot of character strengths onto Percy and didn't give her as much of a chance to shine where it mattered, beyond a few shallow jokes about her being quicker than Percy. They also didn't really touch on the gravitasse of Luke's betrayal in regards to her feelings!? We got one line. The story is out of Percy's head now, we should have gotten that! It's so important to her character. I feel like the teeth of Annabeth's trauma have been blunted a little bit here in comparison to the books, where you get a better sense of why she acts the way she does. The rivalry with Athena and Poseidon is barely mentioned at all!
Basically, despite the show leaving Percy's inner monologue, I don't feel we gained enough perspective from other characters in return.
Finally, the set choices leave a lot to be desired where it counts. I hate volume stages PASSIONATELY, I always have, and did anyone else notice that it feels like no character in the entire show sees a ray of sunshine or hard light? It's all soft, evenly lit in a greyish scene that makes even Olympus feel really, really flat. The Mandalorian suffered the same volume stage look, I hated it then and I really wish they'd stop or learn to light them or saturate them better.
Basically I did enjoy watching but I also don't feel the thrill of a piece of art from it. Some scene have that magic, but others just feel like they're trying to get from point A to point B. I have said it before but Lockwood and Co isna much better example of how to adapt a middle grade book in a way that is both unique from the source material while keeping the spirit alive and delivering a perfectly fleshed out product. I hate to say it because again, I adore Rick, but I'm not sure that his talents as an author translate into the strongest screenplays.
And I would finally remind everyone that the show being made does not mean the books no longer exist, you can read them! Right now! Nothing is ruined by a less than 5 star venture into the screen! And these are just my personal thoughts, the impressions I got. If you don't agree that's fine, but I hope we can keep aggression out of the PJO tag because I've been seeing people come for anyone who dares say anything not positive about the show as if they're personally campaigning to get it cancelled. just take a step back and remember we're allowed to not think it was a perfect end result.
Edit again because I forgot another big issue: WHY WAS THE ARES FIGHT THE FIRST REALLY GOOD FIGHT WE GOT??? I really loved it, it played EXACTLY how I imagined it in my head (albeit both the guys were browner in my head akshdhshs) but it also dawned on me that it was so much better than everything else we were shown except maybe the Clarisse fight way back in ep 1. In particular the Medusa scene was over far too quickly without enough suspense (dare I say this, the movie actually did the Medusa hunt better for the most part) and the Minotaur was kind of... Idk. Something about it felt a little underwhelming. Th chimera was over in two seconds after a pretty cool shot of it prowling, and the Fury outside Medusa's was so anticlimactic -- why would I want to watch the action from a kitchen window with no music??? In comparison to all the other action, the Ares fight blew it all out of the water. So I both loved that, and didn't like the rest so much.

Robin, if a demigod (whose parent is one of the big three) and an Olympian second generation/or a minor god<>goddess have a child together, who will it belong to?
a more powerful grandfather or a divine parent?
My headcanon — grandfather, because the big three likes to show their superiority over the Olympian second generation.
But I am very interested in your opinion on this issue.
It depends on which of the Big Three it is.
Zeus usually claims his divine children even when he has them out of wedlock (the list of which includes: Apollo and Artemis, Athena, Dionysus [used to be a demigod], and Hermes off the top of my head). Zeus didn't raise any of them except Athena but it should be noted that all of them are major Olympians and under his strict control. That being said, even though Thalia (and others) knew he was her dad, it's unclear if Zeus ever actually formally claimed her. That level of distance might have been because of the oath he took, but frankly we just don't know. I'm leaning towards not having much involvement though.
As we learned in Chalice Of The Gods, Poseidon has absolutely zero boundaries with Percy. Aside from watching and photographing Percy in bathrooms using the condensation on the bathroom mirrors, it's directly said that (gods) Poseidon (and possibly other gods) will show up in Percy's shower. It's safe to assume that this isn't actually new behavior (except maybe showering together), especially since we know that Percy has a memory of Poseidon from childhood that Sally doesn't know about and because Poseidon has been sending nature spirits to spy on Percy. I wouldn't be shocked to learn that Poseidon is a bigger part of Estelle's life than anyone really knows because he's obsessive about things that are his.
Hades behaves like a man who has had too many family members taken away from him. He's generally cold and distant toward Nico (calling him the di angelo kid, saying he'd rather have Bianca alive than Nico, using Nico to get the upper hand in the war, hoarding Maria and Bianca's souls for himself) but there are some times when Hades does what might be considered caring things for Nico (giving him a room in the Underworld, the zombie chauffeur driving him around, actually listening to Nico when Nico talks to him about joining the battle of manhattan). Hades has his favorites and they're in his domain with him. I don't think he'd care very much about any grandchildren.

I have a couple of complaints and changes that I could have done for my own personal benefit or for the benefit of others:
1. Three Alternate Openings
Instead of Percy narrating the story in the cold open, I have three alternate openings that I think could have enhanced (or degraded) the story if they had taken place before he utters the iconic opening line: One romantic, one dramatic and the other a framing set up.
The romantic version shows how Sally and Poseidon first met instead of it being a flashback for the Montauk scene. It is a slow montage with no dialogue or sound effects, just music. The cinematography and mis-en-scene are high reminiscent to the opening of The Notebook, in which Sally and Poseidon are dark figures silhouetted against the red light of dawn, almost completely obscured. We see Sally walking up to the beach and Poseidon stepping out of the water, going on a boat ride and everything else we saw in the show. As the montage draws to a close, we finally get a good look at Sally seeing the Poseidon is gone and she is pregnant. We cut to her giving birth to Percy and her first line is her christening him. The music ends as the scene dissolves to 12 years later with Sally staring out the window of her apartment when Gabe calls her for his seven-bean dip. She responds, leaves the window and we pan all the way out towards Manhattan in the direction of the museum and then we hear Percy's opening monologue.
The dramatic version is a bit similar to the opening of the 20th Century Fox adaptation in which we get to see the Winter Solstice meeting with the gods. Everything is copasetic until Hermes tells everyone that the master bolt has been stolen. Zeus and Poseidon get into an argument and then Zeus tells everyone that there will be a war.
The framing set up would be Percy, as an adult telling the story of his life to his kids or even the younger campers of Camp Half Blood. First, he starts with "I didn't want to be a half-blood", there is a flash of lightning and we cut to Percy's 12-year-old self like in the real show.
2. Seeing more of Percy's life before Camp Half Blood
Percy did mention other incidents that happened before Yancy and it would have been both a hilarious and a very sad way of seeing how he got expelled from several different schools. But of course, they do have a budget and it's not very big.
3. Principal Riordan
When I saw that principal and how desperate and worried he looked in his efforts to find Percy and get him off the roof, I knew in a moment that Rick pretty much wasted a good opportunity to play the guy because Percy is his baby and seeing him act more like concerned father than a typical school principal would definitely be in his DNA. But if there is one good side, it is seeing a pegasi and one of those animatronic bulls. I also like the flashback where Percy and his mom go to the museum, but I kinda miss Mr. Brunner's lecture, it would felt more like you were in school again listening to an awesome speech on mythology. But then again, to most kids of the 2000s, school was boring.
4. Nancy calling Percy a dumb blonde
If Nancy was that cruel, she'd probably have another reason to call Percy dumb...because he's blonde. Even if such a stereotype has faded into obscurity, it would probably still make you want to give you another reason for hating her. It also could have given Percy some development as he learns for himself, and proves Nancy wrong, that not all blondes are dumb.
5. Percy calls Nancy out
Even if the scene we got was close to the book, one change I would make, that I would find to be cathartic, would be Percy telling Nancy what kind of a person she is before he pushes her into the fountain, and it would go something like this:
• Percy: (grabs Nancy by the arm) Don't you have anything better to do in your spare time? One that doesn't involve being a *technical term for a female dog*?
• Nancy: Well maybe I like being a *technical term for a female dog*, it makes me feel like a goddess.
• Percy: Well guess what, Nancy, you're not a goddess, you're just as human as you and I and if you had any decency like a real human should, you would treat me and my friend with some respect! *slaps Nancy and force pushes her into the fountain*
6. Percy vs. Mrs. Dodds: Dawn of the Unnecessary Relocation
One of the things the Fox adaptation of The Lighting Thief ironically got right was Percy's fight with Alecto/Mrs. Dodds taking place in an empty part of the museum and Mr. Brunner giving Percy the Riptide pen in the middle of the fight. Here the fight takes place outside and Mr. Brunner gives Percy Riptide before the fight. I find this change to be very odd and the fight itself to be very underwhelming. Rick has a lot of explaining to do.
One minor note: I think Percy should have said the now (in)famous line "But this is a pen!"
7. My Riptide Sense is Tingling
I'm not sure what led Rick to make Riptide be Percy's personal alarm, and while I kinda like it, I feel mixed because what if it gets too loud and the enemy hears it?
8. Intertitles for Each Chapter
One creative way of telling the audience when a chapter begins is a title card, maybe one slightly animated and drawn on a piece of school textbook paper, think Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I know it's cheesy, but then again, drama is better.
9. Et Tu, Grover?
One change that does seem to sit well with me is Grover telling the heads of Yancy that he encouraged Percy to push Nancy into the fountain. It makes Percy's defection from Grover pretty dramatic, but at the same time, Grover not being able to tell his secret can also be concerning.
10. Has It Now Become a Sin to Feature Gaslighting in Kid's Show?
Aside from one mention, Mr. Brunner and Grover are never seen gaslighting Percy over the denial of Mrs. Dodd's existence. Instead, we get a "you are special" speech from Mr. Brunner. And I ask why? Featuring the gaslighting would have made the show feel more like a suspense thriller a la Hitchcock and adds to the mystery.

I am so about to hella fixate on Maria reading Nico an older Italian version of the little mermaid. Maria would be subtle about her storytelling, she would talk about the mermaid dissolving into water and becoming seafoam, and about the world down under, she would offhandedly mention the mermaid being the daughter of a sea king, but she would quickly gloss over that, instead focusing more on the mermaid's life above water, and on her prince.
I wonder if Poseidon would have still offered to safeguard Maria and their children, underwater, from Zeus, cuz something tells me that's Sally Jackson only, special treatment. And the second Nico finds out that only did his father abandon them, he also left Maria totally to her own luck, he just develops a lot of resentment towards him.
He would try to show himself as detached, and completely irrelevant to everything to do with Poseidon, but he would still feel a little joy at getting some approval after the War, and a lot of hatred towards being abandoned.
After Nico is dipped on the River Lethe, those old stories are one of the very few things he can actually sorta remember, and dream about, sometimes. He wouldn't know who told them to him, but he would always remember how safe he felt during it all.
Just like canon Percy, I can see Poseidon really only ever expressing some second hand pride for Nico, and that's it.
Can't really see Poseidon helping Nico out at all, unless it was very necessary in order to save the world, or whatever.
Hades would be so so so smug that it was actually his kid that defeated Kronos, and Poseidon would be super salty the whole time through that Nico wasn't, even after defeating Gaea, I just can't see Poseidon ever getting involved with Nico's life at all.
I think the dissolving part wouldn't really be a tangible feeling if you will, while Nico is putting himself back together, it would just feel like putting your hand through a passing waterfall, but he would be so scared the first time. Being unable to properly move himself together, being unable to feel his flesh and bone, being capable of sensing that which is around him, but not being really able to see it, or to stay stable.
Nico would be all alone, in the ground, in a realm he definitely wouldn't belong to, thightly wrapping his arms around himself, because he doesn't know if any minute now, the process is gonna repeat itself. How could he even explain that sort of fear to anybody else.
Then Minos would immediately sense him, such a strong and powerful demigod, so nearby, one who definitely shouldn't be there.
I think he would still address him as Lord Nico, but he would add something like: From The Seas to the title, just to denote that Nico is stepping into foreign territory, when he really shouldn't be.
I can totally see Nico being drenched on the raging storm, but seconds after, drying off completely, and Percy being able to see that bright blue symbol, the trident on top of Nico's head, before he's gone.
Percy would be so mesmerized, because it would be his first time seeing anybody get claimed, he wouldn't get claimed at all, or until the Hades Cabin gets built, because there would be no point to it, even if everybody already knows who his father is.
But Nico himself wouldn't be able to see the claiming happening, and by the time he can finally calm down, it's already gone.
Nico only really understands who his father is once Minos reveals it to him.
So Minos would effectively have a child of the big three, with a great potential for magic, a lot of hurt and vengeance on his mind, who's also at his weakest, completely alone, and terrified of suddenly dissolving into water, constantly making mini earthquakes hit around them.
And on the other hand, we would have Percy, desperately searching everywhere he can think of, while shadowtravelling and constantly tiring himself out, getting skinnier, and getting shadows that look like bruises under his eyes, but he cannot stop searching for Nico. He can't ever relax until he knows Nico is safe, somewhere.
I think Percy wouldn't like using his shadowtravelling very often, because he knows it makes him look even scarier.
But there's also that part of him, that's sick and tired of trying to fit in, who knows his powers are dark and scary, and he's alright with it, who can proudly say that however bad you are, he's definitely worse.
And it just hit me, that even after Nico has already long since dissapeared from sight, and Chiron has deemed it better than Nico dies somewhere in the forest ,before joining their enemy.
There would still come a point, maybe late at night, when Percy is trying to fall asleep, where he feels that sudden tear, like a soul breaking apart into a tiny million different recipients, and departing, and it's effectively Nico's soul, splitting into the sea water droplets, and falling through the cracks all the way to The Underworld.
And Percy immediately knows, that no matter what the rest of his friends say, he cannot stop searching for Nico.
Afterwards, when Percy gets the dream visions to figure out where Nico is at, he would feel so perplexed that the one place that he never thought to look at, The Underworld, was exactly where Nico was at, before reaching the Laberythn.
Hades would immediately know Percy's lying about the Ghost King business, but he wouldn't even care enough to call Percy out on it.
Like Persephone would be right next to Hades, discussing on their throne, because C'mon honey that was the most blatant lie we ever heard, and Hades just laughs, because the whole situation really amuses him.
And either way, before soon will come the day, where he meets this new Ghost King on the flesh.
I picture son of Poseidon Nico as still having a pretty weak constitution and getting tired and exhausted from his powers pretty easily when he starts overdoing it
But specifically, Nico with the Poseidon bloodline, I picture him just like dissolving, becoming many many droplets of sea water.
He would usually hit his limit and dissolve when he's already on water, so others would just have to wait it out a little bit, while Nico's pulling himself back together.
At first they don't even realize he's straight up dissolving, and figure out that he's just going underwater to swim around a bit, and recuperate his strength before coming back up.
But one time, Nico hits his limit while fighting on earth, and somebody like Percy just has to dive right in, and catch the droplets on a bucket or something, because nobody knows what would happen if they didn't, and they sure as hell don't wanna be finding out in the middle of a Quest.
This process Nico goes through also makes him feel more isolated, as other people, sometimes point out that it's a lot like what monsters go through once they are killed, and then reformed
Fortunately, anybody who says anything like that in the earshot of any of Nico's friends, is immediately getting sent to the Aether

“I’m too sober for this.” “You don’t even drink.” “Maybe I should start.” PLS
This is based on my canon fic about Estelle being a daughter of Poseidon. Yeah it’s canon!
writing prompts
“I’m too sober for this.”
“You don't even drink.”
“Maybe I should start.”
Annabeth gazed over at him, eyebrows raised. “Giving up already?”
“Paul having a thing for Chiron is one of the most traumatizing things I’ve ever heard. I have every right to start drinking.”
Annabeth snorted. “Is it okay if I tell you that some Hermes kids saw them yesterday? In the Big House? With Mr. D, might I add?”
He leaned back into his rocking chair, a heavy sigh leaving him at the prospect of this. Closing his eyes, he said, “You’re a horrible person, you know.”
“Hmm. And you’re too dramatic.”
His eyes opened, then. But they opened only to be greeted by her. Annabeth had always fit in with the summer, he’d come to think. It was just the natural order of life that she was the most beautiful in this season, to fit in like putting on a pair of shoes—her golden hair in a messy bun, grey eyes sharp as she kept watch over Estelle playing volleyball with the other kids.
“Anyway,” she said. “Love is love and all that.”
“Um, no. I never said it wasn’t. I’m strictly homophobic for only Paul and Chiron.”
“Ha-ha.”
“Go ask Stella. She thinks the same thing.”
“Stella copies everything you do. Cassie is no better.” Then, she muttered, “I can just imagine what will happen when she grows up.”
“You leave our daughter out of this. You might summon her, for all we know.”
“With Sally babysitting?” She crossed her leg over the other one. “I don’t think that’s possible.”
“Everything is possible with her.”
Suddenly, they heard a loud thud, then a grunt. Percy glanced at the volleyball court, only to find the ball bouncing away into the grass, some child of Mars he’d forgotten the name of lying face-down in the concrete, and Estelle apologizing profusely.
“Is everything good?” Annabeth called out.
Estelle jumped at the sound of her voice but composed herself quickly, throwing them a thumbs up. “All good! Just, um, hit too hard!” She walked over to the kid on the other side, who was already standing up. “Seriously, I’m so sorry! Oh my gods, are you bleeding?”
“She fits right in,” Percy found himself saying.
Annabeth made a breathless sound, something akin to a laugh. “Tell me about it. She’s worse than you.”
“And you.”
“Shut up.”
Their eyes met, and he realized something. Nothing had ever changed. Their smiles lingered in the warmth of July.
He tugged at her wrist. “Come here.”
And she did. Really, during the summer, Annabeth or Estelle weren’t the only ones that fit in. They’d always always fit, always clicked into place. Annabeth’s head rested in the crook of his neck as his arms wrapped around her torso. Pressing a kiss into her curls, he found himself forgetting about everything else. About Chiron and Mr. D and Paul and his unnaturally strong sister.
“So. Are you going to file a complaint against Paul?” Annabeth murmured into his shirt.
His fingers tangled into her hair, lightly treading on. “Someone else will do that. I’ve worked too hard to get involved with that horse again.”
“Hmm. Good.”
The wind picked up, another call of the summer. A reminder, that no matter how much he aged, Camp Half-Blood would stay as a magnet to him, forever pulling on.
“But maybe I should start drinking. I can’t be sober all the time. Not with this shit.”
“Keep talking.”
“Oh, I will.”
“Okay.”
“Is that a challenge?”
“The last time you drank, it was at Connor’s college party,” Annabeth said. “So yes, this is a challenge. And you cried like a baby after. And threw up. And had the worst hangover I’ve ever seen.”
“You’ll see. I’ll ask Clarisse later tonight. She’ll agree because she fucking hates me.”
That sparked out a laugh from her, which then sparked him to smile fondly at the sky and at the fading sun. And the wind picked up again. And July kept its candid pace.

connor stoll during the titans curse!! what does he do when he finds out annabeth is missing im so
this is more than you asked for anon, but i couldn’t help myself. today, i serve you jealous connor and percabeth. tomorrow, who knows?
he cries.
never in front of any of the other campers though, not even travis
he pretends to be tough and thick-skinned as if nothing ever gets to him. but this does. this one hurts. this is his best friend.
and well, connor isn’t really the questing type. mini-quests? sure. but quests all the way across the country that involve a kidnapped goddess? he feels useless in comparison to the children of the big three that are going on the quest
he wants to go, he wants to save her, but his doubt in his own abilities and his trust that the hunters and more experienced demigods would be able to do a better job than him holds him back
he just wants annabeth safe. and he doesn’t want to compromise a quest by tagging along.
what does he have to offer in comparison to a daughter of zeus? to a group of immortal hunters who have been training for years? he can steal and manipulate. he wouldn’t be too great in any combat scenarios which quests provide plenty of.
or at least that’s what he thinks and he convinces himself that they’re the best group to go and save annabeth
he and annabeth always kept in touch frequently during the school year. they IMed and emailed a lot
he had been really looking forward to finally seeing her at camp again that winter break but. percy tells him she jumped off a cliff like the brave, reckless, impulsive, self-sacrificing hero she is
it’s a punch to the gut. she fell of a cliff. with a monster. what, really, are her chances of survival?
he’s waiting for her to pop out around the corner when he least expects it, sneak up on him and shout “Haha, got you! Thanks for playing along, everyone.” as if it were all some elaborate prank. he wouldn’t put it past annabeth.
but the heartbreak and grief in percy’s eyes are real. he’s never the seen the son of poseidon more moody, more quiet, more worried.
percy can tell connor’s worried sick because, well, it’s like looking into a mirror. it’s like a piece of their hearts has been ripped out of their chests and there’s a lingering emptiness in everything they do.
when percy mentions annabeth was considering the hunters he resisted the urge to scream and tear that pamphlet into pieces. luke had already abandoned them. annabeth couldn’t too.
and when news of percy sneaking off to save annabeth and be the intrepid heroic little shit he always is reached connor, connor is simultaneously relieved and jealous.
he knows the quest won’t fail if percy’s on it. but he also knows that it’s percy smile she’s going to see first. it’s percy’s arms she’s going to run into. it’s percy that’s going to be her hero. he’s the one that’s going to save her, not connor, her first best friend.
and he knows it’s selfish, he knows he shouldn’t be thinking these things, knows he should be grateful that the son of poseidon would save her, but he can’t help the envy lodged at the back of his throat.
it always about percy. percy defeating the minotaur with no training. percy slaying medusa. percy returning the lightning bolt to olympus. percy saving grover from Polyphemus. percy retrieving the golden fleece (clarisse came back to camp announcing she had done it, but he had a feeling it hadn’t been without extensive help). he knows percy couldn’t and didn’t do any do of those things without help, either. but it hurts to think about how that help was annabeth.
connor gets the news of percy’s dream of annabeth taking the burden of the sky from luke, through grover (who percy told) when the state IMed camp to update Chiron. it’s relieving and heart-wrenching at the same time. she’s alive. but she was manipulated. she’s bearing the weight of the heavens in a way only immortal beings could do. shes in the most excruciating pain of her life. she’s dying.
connor had never been more angry at his so-called brother. the charming, easygoing brother he looked up to for so many years. finding out about Luke’s betrayal from annabeth sucked the air out of him and she had to hold him while his knees went week and the rage bubbled up at the back of his throat.
now that anger is amplified by a thousand, and he despises his brother for betraying their family. for hurting the girl he was supposed to protect. he would never forgive luke for that. this kind of betrayal would hurt from anyone, but from Luke? the one who watched over the two of them for years, who entertained their scheming, who helped him secure his connor-annabeth time, who taught them how to survive? it knocks the breath out of him and fuels the bitterest rage he’s ever known and his insides ignite like match striking lighter fluid
those weeks she was gone were the only weeks at camp connor didn’t engage in any sort of mischief. it felt wrong without her. not to mention he wasn’t in the mood.
on one hand, he didn’t want to bear the burden percy had to. he recognized he was really fucking lucky to not have to endure the horrors percy had. but he would do it in a heartbeat if it meant annabeth looking at him the way she looked at percy.
when annabeth gets back to camp safely, she looks exhausted and worn out and traumatized, and as pretty as ever. she is tired, he can tell, tired of everything, but she carries herself with an ounce of hope. hope for what, he isn’t sure. but he’s glad to see she’s not completely miserable.
he runs up to her and crushes her into his embrace and she lets him hold her, laughing wetly into the crook of his neck and he blinks back the tears gathering at the corners of his eyes
she’s back, she’s here, she’s home. where she belongs.
he finally lets a breath out that’s he’s been holding in for a long time, when he’s told thalia joined the hunters but annabeth didn’t.
she’s here to stay.
when percy mentions annabeth was considering the hunters he resisted the urge to scream and tear that pamphlet into pieces. luke has already abandoned them. annabeth couldn’t too.
annabeth tells him she just knows Luke is still out there, that he didn’t die, and a part of him feels guilty for thinking Luke’s death would be much easier for everyone. part of him wants Luke to stay dead. he hates the way Annabeth says he’s alive with such conviction, a wave of jealousy passing over him once again. he loved Luke, yes. and he had thought that Luke was capable of redemption. but how deserving was Luke of a second chance when he resorting to hurting the people he loved? if Luke was willing to hurt the person he cared about most in the world, where would he stop? how much would he hurt others? if Luke dying meant he wouldn’t get a chance to inflict on others the pain he inflicted on Annabeth, then Connor was fine with that.
he can tell percy feels the same way about this Luke thing. but Percy has a lot less to be jealous of. he could tell there was something a little different about him and Annabeth, the way they acted around each other.
little did he know it had to do with a visit from a certain love goddess and the son of Poseidon being seconds away a from confessing his feelings before the goddess of wisdom intervened.
after he finally secured some alone time with Annabeth to just talk about everything that had happened, she shyly tells him about the dance she and Percy shared on Olympus
her eyes are averted, but bright, her cheeks are tinted pink, and her lips are pulled into a soft, reminiscent smile. he thinks she looks gorgeous, but the thought of Percy being the one to put that look on her face made him feel vaguely ill
he knows he looks at her the way she looks at percy. he hates it.
it was always percy this, percy that. percy, the prophecy child. percy, the most skilled swordsman. percy, the son of the sea. percy, the object of annabeth’s attention.
he loved percy, but when would connor be enough?
he loves his best friend with his whole heart. he wants her to be happy above anything else. and she loves him too. but he knows he can’t give her the happiness she deserves. the happiness percy can give her. they grew up together and know every part of each other. one gaze from her and he feels seen. one snarky, offhand remark from her reduces him into a incoherent, snickering mess. one laugh from her spreads warmth curling down his body, from his cheeks down to his toes. he can love her in every way, but he knows she can only love him in one.
and somehow that has to be enough.
so yeah, maybe she’s here to stay. but who is she staying for?

First post of the new name/direction of this blog with my Linked Universe Percy Jackson AU! Meet the Demi-God boys!
After cleaning out my room a couple of weeks ago I found my old PJO & HoO books and my old obsession clashed with my new one along with my passion for mythology! I have a lot of stuff thought up about this AU and I’m going to keep riding the self indulgence juices for as long as I can!
Some info on the boys/the AU can be found below! Not everything is below, I would like to keep some secret/for the future ;) And feel free to ask/send questions about the AU, I would die of happiness if you did!
Wind -Son of Poseidon (God of the Sea, Storms, Earthquakes, Droughts, Floods and Horses) Counselor of Cabin 3. -14 years old. 3 years at camp. -He is a summer camper, and lives with his Grandma and younger sister Aryll when not at camp, they are unsure if his sister is a Demi-God as well. -Has gone on a few of quests so far, mainly ones that involved the sea including one to the sea of monster with his best friend/best rival Tetra.  -Really excited about all his new cousins and family. -Hates being underestimated due to his age, he’s been on quests, he's a son of Poseidon, he’s just as capable as the rest of them! -Favourite part of his powers is his ability to talk to fish and horses. Horses don’t like him back though. Wild -Son of Hypnos? (God of Sleep and the Personification of Sleep) -Doesn’t even know his age, let alone his birthday. -A year round camper, well he’s got no where else to go. First year at CHB -All he remembers is being inside a nice plush cabin with lots of pillows a tree growing in the middle that leaked a milky colored sap that was dripping over his hands and lips. -Slept for a really long time and he guesses now he has no memory? At least that’s what Chiron told him. But why does he feel so guilty? -No quests just yet, he likes practicing archery trick-shots with the Apollo kids. -A daughter of Athena keeps trying to get him to eat frogs and bugs. Some of them make him feel funny. Twilight -Son of Lupercus (God of Shepherds and Wader against Wolves), Champion of Lupa (Wolf Goddess). Centurion of Cohort 3. -19 years old. 4 Years at Camp.  -Summer Camper, goes home despite it being uncommon for Romans to do so. -Wasn’t found until he was 15, his father was too minor of a god to really draw any attention to Twilight. He liked it that way. He trained himself and it was enough to protect himself for a couple of years. -When he was 15, one of his mortal friends was killed the crossfire of one of the few monster attacks, afterwards he was taken to Camp Jupiter. -Whilst completing his training in the Wolf House under Lupa the wolf Goddess, the she-wolf took a liking to him and agreed to train him further than other Demi-gods and eventually took him on as her champion. -On a quest met someone and they teamed up and he fell in love with her despite knowing that she could never love him back. -Talk shit you get the stick Sky -Son of Zeus (God of the Sky, Lightning and Thunder. King of the Gods) Counselor of Cabin 1. -19 years old. 3 years at Camp. -Year round camper, but wishes he could be a summer camper like his girlfriend. -Very in love with his girlfriend who is a Daughter of Apollo, they knew each other as kids but never knew they were both Demi-Gods. -Has been on only two or three quests but they were very big/very important and needed the power of a son Zeus. Doesn’t like to think about his first quest.  -Prefers to use his Wind powers over his Lightning Powers. -Feels quite bad due to the fact ever since he and his younger cousin (Wind) showed up at camp the number of monster attacks have only increased. -Jealous of Wind’s ability to talk to some animal, he wishes he could communicate with his bird.
Four -Son of Hephaestus (God of Fire, the Forge, Metalworking, Technology and Blacksmiths) Co-counselor of Cabin 9. -18 years old. 4 years at camp.  -Summer Camper, goes home to his Grandfather during the year. -Quite small for an child of Hephaestus but that doesn’t put him down. -Known for stealing extra end of year beads from the Big House. -Sometimes seen talking to himself. -Is most skilled in weapons but has dabbled in creating automatons but all he ended up with was a cranky bird who likes to sit on his head, he named him E.Z.L.O. -”Yes I did flex and my sleeves fell off, shut up Legend!”
Hyrule -Son of Hecate (Goddess of Magic, Crossroads, Sorcery, Necromany and Light) -16 years old. 2 years at Camp.  -Year round camper -Still quite new at all this Half-blood Demi-God stuff . -His Saytr guide got killed while escorting him to camp, managed to make the rest of the journey by himself. -His magic goes a bit haywire when he is stressed, last time he turned 3 members of the Hebe cabin in an acorn, plank of wood and a toaster for a few hours. -A little scared cause he feels unworthy next to all his siblings and all the other heroes in camp, but knows deep down he might be stronger than most of them. -Keeps taking the new Hypnos kid into the forest around the camp and sometimes they don’t show up again for a few days.
Time -Son of Janus (God of Beginnings, Transitions, Time, Duality, Doorways, Passages, and Endings) Former Praetor of Camp Jupiter, Former Centurion of the First Cohort. -Age unknown, but he’s quite old for a Demi-god.  -Gave up the Demi-God life and his Praetor position years ago to go and live with his mortal wife. -Due to his powers he sometimes ends up walking through doorways through time and space. Thats how he ended up here. Not his first rodeo in this time though. -Was raised by a group of forest Dryads for the first years of his life before moving to Camp Jupiter.  -Been on many quests, including one which ended up with him having to battle against the primordial moon goddess Luna. After winning the fight he took her sword. - “Look, I didn’t ask to be a half-blood.” Legend -Son of Hermes (God of Roads, Travel, Athletes, Diplomacy, Thieves, Commerce and Trade. Messenger of the Gods) Counselor of Cabin 10. -17 years old. 7 years at Camp. -Year round/Summer Camper, it kinda changes every year. -Currently holds onto the record for the most quests at Camp Half-Blood. Kinda proud but also kinda over it.  -Hoarder of all sorts of items, unknown where he gets all these items from.  -Bonded with Hyrule while he was holed up in Cabin 10 before his claiming by Hecate. -He sees a possible opportunity in the son of Poseidon to help him return to the mysterious island he wash up on years ago. An island where he fell in love with a goddess who could never leave. But he is going to find a way, he will. -Stole a pair of his dad’s flying shoes, but turns out they were kinda a dud. Can’t fly but can run really fast. Warriors -Son of Mars (God of War and Destruction) & Legacy of Venus (Goddess of Love, Beauty, Desire, Prosperity and Victory). Praetor of the 12th Legion. Former Centurion of Cohort 5. -18 years old. 4 years at Camp. -Year round camper. He’s in charge so he’s got to stay. -At first thought to be another child of Mars with a pretty face he was placed in Cohort 5. He was quickly made centurion of the ragtag group of Demi-Gods and quickly the cohort was competing with the best of them.  -He caught the eye of the current female Preator and when her colleague failed to return from a quest, she promoted Warriors to Preator, despite him not having completed the minimum 5 years of service to be eligible for the position. -Most well known for helping defend Camp Jupiter during a war a year ago, which helped solidify his new position as Praetor. But he feels guilty for every life lost in each of the battles. -A bit of a heartthrob who can't help but flaunt his double legacy sometimes.
