SYPNOSIS > Wanting to start a new stream series with his best friends, Jay had a bright idea of playing some simple Minecraft with them. Everything was normal, until he realises there is another person in the call with them. He quickly learns that it was ni-ki’s older sister, (name). Watch how streaming a simple game of Minecraft can dig up some interesting feelings between the main leads.

a/n: the inspiration behind jake’s little world naming…that was the first word that popped into my head. don’t ask why. I’d like to know too.

finally after so long with multiple technical issues on jay’s end, the minecraft series could officially start. he could hear jake and ni-ki just chatting about the free online soccer game they found on steam. his eyes gazed the mute button right beside your username. the other boys had turned on their cameras in discord while you and angel(Yvette) didn’t.

he hasn’t once heard your voice. well, he could barely hear your voice since he shut ni-ki’s stream off earlier due to the boys attempting to catch something. he only heard your giggle once and that was it. nonetheless, in that short moment he thought you sounded adorable. his heart drumming in his chest, wondering how your voice would sound like.

he shook his head and clicked on the stream button. as per usual, he puts on a waiting screen to tell the viewers that ‘hey, we’re going to play soon. please wait.’

he unmutes in the discord, “hey, everything has been set up. I just wanna ask what should the server name be?”

“asscrack.” jake suggests as he looks up from his computer and directly into the camera.

“what?” heeseung speaks up as he was caught off guard by the weird name.

“I don’t know, don’t ask me. I’m shit at giving names to things.” jake shrugs. the other boys deadpanned at him.

“let’s name it…sunoo and the boys.” sunoo suggests.

“as if. just put the default ‘My World’ that’s the easiest. not a single hassle to the world.” jungwon adds.

“Alphas.” sunghoon voices out.

“uhh, have you forgotten there are two girls here?” ni-ki says.

“well, who cares about that. Women can be dominant too.” sunghoon shrugs.

jay sighs, “I’m just going to call it MineStream.”

“lame ass name.” jake says. jay turns on his camera on discord and zooms in the camera to his face. he gave jake a death stare and so jake awkwardly laughs it off.

“okay, you scare me. I’m sorry.” jake pouts.

as for you, the moment jay opened his facecam. your eyes widened, a tiny gasp left your throat. since no one could see/hear your reaction due to you being muted and your camera was turned off, you were basically in shock. that man is most beautiful man you’ve ever seen.

the way his eyebrow raises as the rectangle glasses suited his face. he was just in a simple black shirt and his jet black hair was parted prettily. good lord. you were going to play with him? you were going to play with all these pretty boys?? oh lord.

“okay, the world is loading so wanna do the intro when we all load into the world?” jay asks.

“yeah, we should. we have new guests here and we have to introduce the fans too!” sunghoon says.

“alright, I’ve already loaded in. I sent the world invite into the discord. by the way, there are mods that I added to make the game more interesting.” jay says.

“the only interesting thing we should try to do is do hardcore mode or like a ‘if one person dies, everyone dies’ kinda thing.” sunoo suggests.

“we could do that for another time.”

you had clicked on the link and waited to load into the world. since ni-ki helped to create your account, you could easily go in and of course he was your first friend in the game. you had finally clicked turned on the camera in discord and so everyone could see you. you weren’t exactly streaming but you were recording for a video since ni-ki suggested that putting up videos onto YouTube also generates money. once everything was settled, jungwon claps his hand and starts off with the intro.

“hello everyone, today we are-” ni-ki’s character punches jungwon’s as he was talking. “ni-ki!”

“whoops misclick.” ni-ki says. jungwon rolls his eyes.

“today we are playing minecraft! woo!!”

“the premise of how this started. jay hyung wanted to do a series together that was nostalgic and so we decided to go with minecraft because who doesn’t love minecraft!” sunoo says.

“besides our normal friend group, we have two other people on here! let’s welcome angel and (name)!”

“hello hello.” angel says. her little vtuber character moves and tracks her movement.

“woah, cool character, angel. it’s really pretty.” sunoo says.

“oh, thank you.” angel smiles. everyone’s attention was now on you.

“oh umm, hi. I’m (name). I’m ni-ki’s older sister.” you waved towards the camera. everyone was mesmerised (excluding heeseung and ni-ki), you were beautiful.

“good god.” jake says.

“you have a very sexy voice. would love to hear that all night-” sunghoon gets cut off.

“sunghoon hyung, i will find a way to ban you from this server.” ni-ki warns him.

you giggled and jay’s heart melts. god, he’s a simp but he can’t show that…his facecam was turned on. jay turns to read a couple of his comments. most of them were simping for you. kinda made him jealous, not going to lie. plus, it didn’t help that jay had this overlay thing where whoever talked, it would display the person’s facecam (if turned on) from discord to his livestream.

— “she’s so pretty.”

— “wow, she’s so…no wonder she’s ni-ki’s older sister. the family genes are so strong.”

“let’s just start playing. gather resources everyone.” jay says.

and so everyone does. each of them collected wood, from the trees. you sat there looking clueless and so jay comes up to you in game.

“something wrong?” he asks.

“oh, sorry. this is my first time playing minecraft so I have zero clue how to do things.”

“want me to guide you?”

“sure.”

jay happily guides you on how to play the game, from punching wood to making crafting benches and finally making tools. jay turns to read the comments for a bit,

— “woah, what is this visual couple going on?”

— “yoooo, they would look cute together! like wow.”

jay was satisfied by the comments. he can’t help but look at your facecam, your concentrated face as you mined for stone and attempted to make stone weapons.

“hyung!” jungwon whacks jay’s character. it causes him to turn around.

“did you have to hit me.” jay deadpans.

“whoops, anyways. ni-ki and sunoo found a cave. I don’t remember minecraft caves being fucking huge.”

“there was a huge update I believe 1-2 years ago so yes, huge cave.”

“they also found a mob spawner with saddles in the chest and jake hyung stole them to try and get horses.”

jay sighs, “can’t say I’m not surprised.”

“are you and (name) noona flirting?” jungwon suddenly asks. it causes you and jay and to look at each other in game before turning to jungwon.

“no? he’s just teaching me how to play minecraft.”

“yeah, she doesn’t know much about the game so what better way then to teach her?”

“don’t believe it one bit. next thing you know, we will have a couple in a minecraft server who share a house together, sleep together and have cats and dogs together.”

— “oooo, jungwon is onto something.”

“the comments are agreeing with me.” jungwon smirks.

“shut the fuck up, my friend.” jay shoos jungwon away. the younger boy runs off to find sunghoon, who wants currently getting chased by a creeper.

jay sticks by you throughout the whole thing, he gives you tips and even hands you some stuff.

“we are making a community.” heeseung says.

“and why?”

“because with 9 people on this server, all the resources are going to be sucked up. also I am not sharing a house with any of you. especially, (name). she’ll make the house with pink wood.”

“there’s pink wood?” you say.

“there is, you just need to find a cherry blossom biome.” jay explains.

“why are you helping her?” heeseung asks.

“because she doesn’t know how to play and I’m just being a gentleman since you guys aren’t helping her, clearly.”

jake bursts out laughing, “I’m sorry but this is the first time I see you being so gentlemanly to a woman.”

“do you want me to set myself into creative so I can blow up your shit dirt house.” jay threatens.

“go ahead, I feel like renovating it anyways. just let me move my stuff first-”

sunoo quietly hands jay some tnt and a flint and steel. before jake could even grabbing his things from the chest. jay covers his base with the tnt and ignites it. it hisses.

“(name), I suggest you run if you don’t wanna blow up.” jay warns.

“oh.” you quickly dashed out of the way and the explosion was massive. it causes sunghoon to yell.

“I had a pet dog in there…” jake says.

“too bad, mess with me again and I’ll burn your next house.” jay says.

jake definitely learnt his lesson of not teasing jay during this session.

Vampire Levi x human reader

Levi helps Erwin run a very powerful gang that brings order to vampires in a massive city, but in his spare time, he watches you, a cute streamer who brings him comfort at night. You get very close to Levi online, then a chance meeting leads to the two of you becoming a very passionate couple. The two of you have to face a lot of troubles together. Some fans like you a bit too much and Levi's job is incredibly dangerous. You both stay close, passionate and deeply in love even in the darkest of times. Through everything you both stand strong.

It’d been about two months since he discovered you, and he’d been entranced. However, most nights had gotten lonely since he managed to get total power with Erwin. Vampires were all over the city and working in harmony with humans, but there were some minor issues, there were vampire haters who spread hate speeches against it. Levi could understand because vampires were revealed to be living among humans, that there were purebloods who had some sort of power among other vampires.

After gaining a lot of power over the city through gangs and deals, the place became just a little safer for people. Levi was the muscle of the gang, he trained people up and punished anyone bad. He also helped run a lot of the bars and clubs, but he had to admit he was bored now everything was in order so he scrolled on his phone and found you.

Levi enjoyed video games, he would play them now and then but there was something about watching you play them, talk to your fans and be so relaxed with everyone. You didn’t dress up for the camera, just light makeup and sometimes nothing at all. You’d wear a mix of things from comfy to very pretty. You were incredibly honest with your fans, even when you had a sponsorship from a game or company.

At first, Levi watched and he watched some of your old uploaded streams. After that, he started donating and he was one of your biggest donors. A little online friendship bloomed because you were shocked at the amount and had to talk to him privately with your mods to make sure the amount was correct. Soon after that, he became a mod for you. He loved it when all the mods got together on a call because it meant he could talk to you.

Only recently had the two of you spoken on private calls and he looked forward to them. He had noticed that his voice did things to you like your breathing would change a bit and your heart would race. He liked the things he did to you because had a strong crush on you that controlled him. He knew he was a bit obsessed with you and he was going to work on that, but vampires tended to get a little obsessive with the people they had feelings for.

He'd even bought some of your merch, it made him happy to have a part of you with him. It also warmed his heart that a lot of your profits went to charities. He had a phone charm hanging off his phone of a little bunny with bat wings, it made him smile every time he saw it. Back at his home, he had a few more things.

“Leviathan! You’ve been quiet for a bit. You okay?”

Levi blinked a few times, his heart warmed at hearing you call him by his online name. He hummed and typed a reply in the chat. He was so wrapped up in thinking about you and gazing at you that he forgot to say anything. He sent a little message to let you know he was there. He blushed when you smiled brightly and talked right to him.

You leaned closer to the camera. “Leviathan, hey. I missed you. I hope you’re okay.” You read his reply and nibbled your lip. “Good, I’m glad. Did you get that issue sorted?” You leaned your cheek on your hand and smiled. “Wonderful. I did worry about you.” You pouted when your fans were flooding the feed with talks about shipping you and Levi as a couple. “Quiet you lot and no more shipping art. You lot are wild little beasts. I run a tight and well-behaved warren.” You burst out laughing at them. “You’re all cute little bunnies.” You blew them kisses. “Love you all. Now, let’s start our game.”

Levi watched you play a new horror game for a while before sitting and chatting with everyone. He groaned as he felt a hunger inside him. “Damn it.” He stormed over to his heater and grabbed a bottle of fake blood with all the things vampires needed. He downed some as he thought about you. “Mm.” He moved back to his phone and watched the last of your stream. “Tch, I want more.” He was about to message you asking for a private chat but you sent him a message asking to call. “Yes.”

You waved goodbye to your chat and ended the stream. As soon as you were done, you yanked on a hoodie of yours that was old merch. You tapped away on your computer and called Levi, he answered right away like he always did. “Hey, Leviathan.”

Levi sighed. “Hey Batbunny, you seemed a bit off today, is everything okay?”

You shivered at his tantalising deep voice. “I’m okay.”

“You can tell me anything.”

You sat in your chair and grabbed a can from your little fridge. “Ah…I dunno…it’s just this guy.”

Levi clenched his fist tightly. “What’s his name and how much can I hurt him?”

You giggled making Levi blush. “You don’t need to do a thing. I thought this guy was good, but he had a girlfriend. He just wanted to see if he could get with a big named streamer.”

He shot to his feet. “I need his name.”

“Leviathan.”

He whined a bit. “He hurt you though.”

You hugged your legs and smiled a little. “You’re…you’re so wonderful.” You hummed. “You’re like a dream.”

“I’m not a dream.”

You frowned. “Leviathan.”

He hummed. “I’m pretty sure I’m real and not a dream.”

You giggled. “You’re cute.”

“I’m…umm…” He shifted a little. “Th-thank you.”

You mumbled a little hoping Levi wouldn’t hear. “I wish I could meet you, my dream man.”

Levi heard you with his sensitive ears. “S-So, you know m-my online name?”

“Mm?”

He gulped hard. “It has my name in it. My name is Levi.”

Your heart raced. “Levi…Levi…I love it.” You gave your name as Levi felt like his heart could burst from his chest. “I’m glad you became a fan because I made a friend.”

“I’m glad I found you too.” He glanced at the time. “You should be having dinner, right?”

You gasped. “Oh! You’re right, I should cook something.” You nibbled your lip as you thought about what you were going to make. “Mm…I’m not sure what to make.”

Levi huffed when he saw Erwin was calling. He called your name. “I have to mute, I have a work call sorry. I’ll be right back.”

You smiled a little. “Sure!”

Levi muted himself and answered Erwin. “Yeah.”

Erwin sighed. “I need your help.”

“With what? Everything is in order.”

“We’ve got an issue with young blood. He’s trying to get powerful like a pureblood. Some humans have gone missing.” Erwin growled. “I think the fucker is using humans as blood bags. We know where he hangs out. I think it’ll be a quick job, but I know how much this means to you.”

Levi thought about his father. Levi’s dad was human and his mother turned him so they could have eternity together, but before he met Kuchel he had been used and abused by a female vampire. Levi wanted to protect his father, who was a soft and sweet man. He had muscles but he was romantic in the sweet classic way. So, anytime he heard of a human being used for their blood and not seen as a living thing, it enraged him.

Levi’s rage subsided when your keychain tapped against his wrist. He smiled softly as thoughts of you made him feel better. “I’ll come help. Be there soon.” He ended the call and paced around his penthouse and stopped by the large window that looked out on the city. He tapped for your call. “Hey, sorry about that.”

You squeaked in delight at hearing Levi. “Hello again. It’s okay, I started cooking finally.”

“What did you decide on? I bet it’s delicious.”

“I picked bolognese and garlic bread.”

Levi smiled a little. “Sounds perfect. I’m sorry to say this, but I have an emergency job to do. I have to go.”

You whined a bit. “That’s a shame, I’ll miss you. Please be safe.”

“I will. You keep safe too.” He hummed a bit. “And I’ll miss you as well. Bye.”

“Bye.” You ended the call and felt a bit sad. “Levi, huh…” You picked up your bunny plushie with bat wings and smiled as you hugged it. “I want to meet him.”

You’d been a streamer for a few years and you don’t know why, but you took off and people really liked you. You always streamed at night so humans and vampires didn’t feel alone. You were welcoming to all kinds of people. Your laid back fun vibes just seemed to pull people in. Plus, you welcomed all kinds of people and played all sorts of fun games. You did shove merch down people’s throats you didn’t often release stuff, you just didn’t want to bother your fans too much.

No matter how much you thought about it, you still couldn’t figure out why you became a popular streamer. You had fantastic fans, mods and now editors who helped you set up a page with playthroughs and edited streams. You would sometimes go to conventions to meet fans, sign things and take pictures. You enjoyed meeting your fans and forming bonds with a lot of them, but it was emotional sometimes knowing you couldn’t reach everyone.

Making connections and lasting relationships was a bit hard because a lot of people loved you for your fame, or they loved Batbunny and not you as a person. It could be very lonely at times so the people who you let in were very close to you. Levi was someone you were letting in, you liked him so much and you did know it was crazy you’d never met him and you had the biggest crush on him.

You smiled at the chat as you read a few things. You were currently on a break after playing a very intense chapter of a horror game, so you were winding down with your watches so you could play something fun. You had some banter going with a few of them but then you saw someone say something rather gross about you. You tried to ignore it, but then they got worse.

“Mm.” You glanced at the mod chat to see that they were trying. “It’s okay, mods. You’re doing amazing.” You smiled as Levi privately messaged you. “I’m okay, thank you. This is normal.”

Levi sent you a few messages saying he’d take care of it.

You smiled a bit. “Take care of it, huh? That’s so cute.” You glanced at the chat asking if you were talking to Leviathan. “Oh, shush you lot, but yes I am talking to Leviathan.”

Levi sent you more messages that everything was sorted and you could go back to having fun. What he didn’t tell you is he used his gang to find out who this man was harassing you, then he sent someone over to the man’s place and made him stop. Levi was going to protect you no matter what. He knew you’d probably be scared of him for being a pureblood vampire, as well as being rather protective of you to the point he’d hurt anyone who hurt you.

The smile he adored on you returned and you were back to being happy. He blushed when you sent him a sweet message to him and started playing a game he enjoyed. He knew you were doing it for him and it warmed his heart. Levi wanted nothing more than to wrap you up in his arms and kiss you. His heart and soul belonged to you. He wanted you with him so he could protect you better from the terrible people out there.

A dark feeling hit him. “Oh…oh shit…this is bad. I’m no better than…” He whined and knew he needed to sign off for a bit. “Damn it.” He messaged that he had work to do and he’d speak another time. “I need to get some air and work.”

The night air was cool to most, but Levi didn’t feel it. He knew going for a drive would clear his head, so he hopped onto his motorbike, strapped on his leather gloves and put his helmet on. He sped off and drove around the city and enjoyed how it felt, along with the flashing of neon lights. A big part of him wished you were sat behind him holding him, but he could only dream.

He came to a stop at a convenience store that was always open. He liked the store because it was in a nice part of the city and always had food and drink for vampires. He took his helmet off and put it on his bike before walking into the shop. He released a long sigh, grabbed a basket and began shopping. He moved around and tuned out the world around him, but then he heard a sweet voice that he recognised. He frowned a moment, turned his head and looked down to see you were right next to him.

Levi’s eyes widened as he took you in, you were incredibly beautiful in person and you smelt better than he imagined. “Ah.”

You looked up at him. “Sorry, am I in your way?”

He gulped hard. “Batbunny?”

You flinched a little because a man as stunningly handsome as the one before you couldn’t possibly be a fan. “Y-Yes.”

He placed his hand on his chest. “It’s me. Leviathan.”

Your eyes widened as fireworks went off inside you, this man truly was your dream man. He was a walking bad boy with tight black jeans, biker boots, leather jacket, leather gloves and that deeply dark look in his eyes that became ever so soft and loving as he gazed at you. “Levi.”

Levi blushed. “Ah, hearing you say my name in person is just…” He smiled softly. “It’s so nice.” He cleared his throat. “I can’t believe we bumped into each other. Oh! I hope you don’t think.”

You held your hands up. “No, no, I don’t think you’re a stalker. This really is a chance meeting. It’s cool, I love it.”

He grinned causing him to flash his fangs. “Really?” He covered his mouth with his hand. “A-Ah, sorry.”

You moved closer to him causing his body to tingle. “You’re a vampire?”

“Yes…does it bother you?”

You shook your head. “Not at all. They look lovely. You don’t need to hide from me.”

He lowered his hand. “Sorry, a lot of people are not comfortable with vampires still.”

“I’m comfortable.” You grinned at him making him blush. “Hey! Do you want to come over?”

Levi’s eyes widened. “Wh-what? Are you sure?”

You nodded. “Mm, I’m sure.”

“You trust me that much?”

You put some things in your basket. “I do.” You looked over at him. “Is there a reason I shouldn’t? I mean, we talk almost every day. I feel like I know you very well.”

He smiled softly. “It’s just…it makes me very happy. I’m not used to such kindness. I would love to come over.”

“Great!” You cleared your throat. “Sorry, that was very excitable of me.” You gulped. “I’m just gonna get my stuff…” You walked away from Levi but he heard you mumble to yourself. “Idiot. I’m an idiot. The perfect man is right there and you’re fucking it up.”

Levi smirked a bit and did his shopping before meeting you at the till. “Allow me.”

You gasped. “Oh, but you do plenty for me.”

He tapped his card against the reader. “I want to do more.”

You whined a bit as he packed everything. “You’re so nice.”

“Only to you.” He grabbed everything. “Come with me.” He held back a smile when you followed him like a cute little puppy. “I hope you don’t mind motorbikes.”

You stopped by his bike. “Wow!”

He took your bag with his and your things. “Let me get that.” He packed them away before picking his helmet up. “I only have the one. Do you like far?”

You shook your head and gave your address. “It’s rather close.”

He placed the helmet on your head. “I’ll get on first then you sit behind me. Make sure you are holding me tightly, okay?”

You nodded and gave him the thumbs up. You waited for him to sit before getting on behind him. You wrapped your arms around him and felt your heart racing at being so close to him. The muscles you could feel were incredible. You gripped him hard when he drove off, it was so fast it surprised you and the skill at how Levi moved around traffic was impressive. The ride was only short, but you looked forward to when you could do this again with him.

Levi pulled up into a parking spot that had your apartment number on. He waited for you to get off before he did. “You know, I was expecting a house.”

You pulled the helmet off. “I like apartments. I mean, it’s just me so it doesn’t make sense to have a big place. It’d be a waste of money and it’d cost me a lot.”

He grabbed the bags of food. “Makes sense to me. It’s a very secure building, very safe as well.”

You bumped yourself against him. “You worried about me?”

“Always.”

You hummed a laugh and walked into the building but Levi stayed outside. “Levi? Oh! Come on it.”

Levi smiled. “Thanks.” He walked inside and sighed. “Seems like a silly thing, but it’s a true thing about vampires.”

You walked into the lift with him. “How about the whole silver and sunlight thing?”

He leaned against the wall of the lift. “Silver hurts us. Sunlight is…well…if you are a weak vampire like you are turned by someone that had been turned by someone else, you don’t do okay in the sun and you will burn. However, if you’re a pureblood like me you’ll be fine but you’ll feel a bit weak. It’s best to just be active at night.” He walked out of the lift with you. “I’m glad I did that because I met you.”

You used your keys to unlock your door. “Me too.” You walked into your place. “Come on in, Levi.”

He slipped his shoes off in the little shoes area before moving to your very modern and perfect kitchen. “Mm, this is nice.”

“Thanks!”

He frowned a bit. “There are vamp things here.”

You looked at the devices to heat blood. “Oh, it came with the apartment. They asked if I wanted it removed but I wanted it to stay.” You started putting your things away. “Glad I did.”

Levi placed his blood things in the special heater. “You do this sort of thing with others?”

You shook your head. “Nope.” You smiled at him. “I have a stream later today.”

Levi’s blush faded. “Oh, I’ll head home then.”

Your head tilted like a curious rabbit. “Why?”

“Well, you don’t want me then.”

“I want you though.” You hurried off. “I want you to stay.” You grabbed a big bunny with bat wings and ran back. “I have a spare room. You could stay over.” You paused in front of a flustered Levi. “Sorry, I’m pressuring you. It’s just, I feel such a strong connection to you and I really like you.” You looked up at him. “I can imagine this is a lot for you and my scent is everywhere.”

Levi cupped your face. “I want to stay. You don’t make me feel uncomfortable. This place and you smell incredible.” He leaned closer. “I like you so much it’s slightly crazy.”

You hugged the toy. “Mm.” You shoved the bunny into his arms. “F-For you.”

Levi took the bunny and felt himself smiling. He enjoyed that he flustered you so much and that you had feelings for him. “Oh, hey this bunny?”

You pulled your jacket off and hung it up. “Oh, yeah there are only two in the world. I have both of them, well not anymore.” You pointed at the bunny. “You have the other one.”

He squeezed it. “I will treasure it.”

You giggled. “I’m glad.” You pointed at him. “Can I take your jacket?”

He placed the bunny down and peeled his jacket off. “Thanks.”

You stared at him in a tight black shirt with short sleeves. The shirt was pulled over his pecs and squeezed his waist. What shocked you the most were his arms. They were covered in tattoos and seemed to pop on his skin as if they were brand new. “Ah…”

“Oh, vampire tattoos have silver in them to get them to stay.” He noticed you were shaking a little, he thought it was due to fear because of his muscles, but then he sensed how your heart raced and the smell of your blood. He gulped hard because now he knew you were incredibly attracted to him. “Do you like them?”

You reached over and touched his arms a bit. “Yeah, they’re pretty.”

He shivered as you kept tracing them. “That feels nice.” He purred as he moved closer. “Don’t ever stop touching me.”

You looked up at him with the most adorable look. “Levi.”

He went bright red. “I’m so sorry, that just came out.”

You hummed a laugh. “I’m happy to keep touching you.” You moved closer to him. “In fact, it brings me comfort.” You reached up and caressed his cheek. “You’re so soft.”

He leaned into your touch. “Mm, thank you.” He closed his eyes and relaxed a bit. “I like how you feel.” He opened his eyes. “You’re so warm and squishy.”

“You want a hug to see how warm and squishy I am?”

He gasped in delight before wrapping his arms around you and hugged you. “Mm.” He squeezed you tightly. “Mmmm.”

You nuzzled your face against him and released a long sigh. “It’s so strange. We’ve only met in person today, but I feel like this is how we’re supposed to be.” You pulled back a bit and looked into Levi’s beautiful eyes. “Does that make sense?”

“It does.”

You pulled back and hummed. “So, uh…I have to stream. Are you okay with joining me?”

He cleared his throat. “Yeah, but is it okay if I hide my face? I can sit off-camera.”

You took his hand and pulled him along. “Of course.” You led him to your office. “Here is my office.”

He marvelled at the setup you had, the neon pink lights along with the nerdy collection of figures and posters. “This is perfect.”

You released his hand making him sad. You grabbed an old custom-made gaming chair of yours and placed it just off camera. “There, if you sit here they won’t see your face but they can see your chest, arms and thighs. This also allows you to see what I’m doing.”

He sat down and stared at your three monitors, cute desk, custom-made rabbit-themed tower that lit up so nicely and an adorable keyboard to match. “I like your setup.”

“Thanks.” You grabbed a hoodie and dragged it on. “I think I need to update it at some point.”

He watched you set everything up. “Would you change the colours?”

You nibbled your lip as you thought. “Maybe. I do like the custom ones. This team sets up the tower for me, then they transfer everything over for me. I know tech, but I don’t think I could fully build a PC.” You laughed. “Don’t trust myself.”

He smirked as he watched you. “You’re cute.”

You pouted a bit as your cheeks heated up. “Thanks.”

He reached over and caressed your cheek a few times. “You really are like a little bunny.”

You gazed at him as he smiled allowing you to see his fangs. “You remind me of a black kitty cat.” You reached over and pointed. “Cause of the adorable fangs.”

He nipped your finger making you squeak. He licked your finger and released you. “I guess I am like one.”

You hugged yourself with one arm. “You are…you…” You huffed.

He hummed a laugh and sat back as you started your stream. He adored being able to see you work. It flustered him when chat was screaming about him. “Ah, they like me?”

You giggled. “They like the mysterious man to the side of me. Chat, stop taking screenshots of him. I know his chest, arms, hands and thighs are lovely but behave yourself.”

Levi shifted and clenched his fists a little. “You think that?”

You looked over at him and whined a bit. “Y-Yes.” You looked back at the screen. “Who is it? It’s Leviathan. Yes, he’s incredibly handsome.” You gulped hard. “Are we dating?” You glanced at Levi as he tilted his head and smiled a little. “Ah, no we’re uh…we met by chance today. This is the first time we’ve met in person.”

Levi reached over and took your hand. “You’re even more beautiful in person. It’s hard to believe.” He lifted your hand and kissed it. “Pretty bunny.”

You pulled your hood down. “Jeez. Chat, tell him off. He’s been this sweet and smooth with me all damn day.”

Levi waved at the chat. “Hi all, you better be on your best behaviour. We have good little bunnies in this warren, right?”

You peeked at your chat and saw them freaking out at Levi saying that. “I think you have fans now.”

Levi waved at the camera. “Hello, little bunnies.” He reached over and squeezed your thigh. “Do you want something to drink?”

You hummed as your heart raced. “S-Sure.” You watched him leave your office and waited a bit before speaking to your chat. “He’s got such a lovely deep voice.” You stared at your chat. “He’s so handsome. I know you can’t see him cause he wants to hide his face, but he’s amazing. I have the biggest crush on him. We’ve been talking for so long privately and I just…I really wanna date him, but keep it hush-hush, okay?”

“You wanna date me?”

You turned and went pale as Levi stood there with a drink and a snack for you. “Um…well…”

He pointed to the screen. “Mind pausing?”

You hurriedly tapped away. “Sorry, everyone! Short break.” You paused the stream and turned to Levi. “I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I just…well…I do. Speaking to you through messages and phone calls for a while, I just had these feelings build up for you and then meeting you in person…” You pulled your hood down on your hoodie with the rabbit ears on. “I’ve made this awkward. I mean, why would someone as handsome and cool as you want me? I’ve fucked this all up.”

Levi placed everything down before kneeling in front of you. He softly called your name and massaged the back of your legs. “Look at me.” He tapped his chin on your knee. “Please?”

You pulled your hood back a bit. “Mm.” You gazed at him. “Levi.”

He leaned up and kissed you before you could say anything else. He lightly nipped your lip before pushing his tongue into your mouth and kissing you with all the love and passion in his heart. He pulled back a little and spoke against your lips. “Sweet little bunny.” He nuzzled his nose against yours. “I…I��”

“I knew-.”

He kissed you again. “I want to say how I feel, but I don’t want to scare you. Fuck, bunny I’m in love with you.” He lowered his head. “I’m the one who’s probably fucked this up and made things awkward.” He tapped his forehead against your knee. “I love you so much.”

You reached over and ran your fingers through Levi’s hair. “You mean it?”

He lifted his head. “I do.”

“Well…I…I um…” You covered your face with your hands. “I love you.”

Levi shuffled closer. “You do?” He took your hands and pulled them from your face. “You make me so happy.” He smiled at you causing his fangs to show. “I promise I’ll take care of you. I am sorry I will be a bit possessive of you, but I’ll try my best to be good.”

You smiled. “Vampire thing?”

He nodded. “Mm.”

You caressed his cheek before diving for him and knocking him back on the floor. Your lips were on his as the two of you kissed over and over. “I like that. I’ll try my best to be a good girl, and I’ll try not to be too possessive either.”

Levi massaged your hips. “I might like it, you being possessive that is.” He leaned up and kissed you. “You’re so delicious and pretty.” He rolled over onto you. “I just want to spoil you, dote on you, love and care for you.”

You giggled as he started kissing your face and neck all over. “Levi.”

He licked your neck then pulled back. “A-Ah! Your stream.”

You sat up on your thighs and pouted a bit. “But I want more kisses.” You crawled towards him as he backed up a bit. “I want you to bite me. Don’t vampire partners bite their lovers so they can make them theirs?”

Levi’s back bumped against the wall as you crawled closer. “Th-They do, but I uh…I don’t want to hurt you.”

You sat between his legs and peppered his face with kisses as you placed your hands on his plump pecs. “You’re so sweet.”

He took your hand and pressed loving kiss after loving kiss on you. “Mm.” He looked eyes with you as he playfully nipped the plump part of your thumb. He licked the skin before opening his mouth and sinking his teeth in. He purred as you flinched a bit at the pain, but then you began moaning so sweetly. He dragged his tongue over your hand over and over. “Your blood…” He sighed. “It’s so delicious. It’s like honey.”

You shivered. “Maybe I have too much sugar.”

He chucked as he dragged you against him. “That’s not it, my cute little bunny.” He held you a moment. “To vampires, it means that…well…your affection for me is strong, and…” he caressed your cheek as he smiled. “It means that we’re connected on a deep level.”

Your eyes sparkled at him. “Soulmates?”

He blushed a bit. “Yes.” He pricked his finger on his fang. “Here, drink.” He moaned and felt arousal go through him when you licked and sucked the blood. “A-ah.”

You hummed. “It tastes so good.”

“Fuck, I want to eat you.”

You gasped. “H-huh?”

He growled and attacked your neck making you squeal in delight. He nibbled and sucked your neck like a cute kitten needing to attack to show love. He held you tightly and nuzzled. “Mm.” He sighed as he held you. “My happy place.”

You wrapped your arms around Levi. “Mine too.”

He picked you up and walked over to your gaming chair. He sat down with you on his lap. “Mm, there. We can stay together and they can’t see my face.”

You shifted on his lap as he hugged you tightly and hid his face. “I-I’ll get back to work then.” You put the stream back on. “We’re back.” You felt your cheeks heat up as chat made comments. “Y-Yes, I have a cute little black kitty with me.” You chatted, giggled and played a few things until it was time to end the stream. You finished with lots of donations and subscriptions. “Bye everyone, be safe and snuggle up in your little warrens.”

Levi kissed the back of your neck. “Is it over?”

“Everything is turned off.” You slipped off his lap making him pout and whine. “Normally my routine is, I have some dinner and then relax before getting some sleep.” You turned to him and smiled. “Do you want to join me?”

Levi gripped the arms of your chair. “I wanna chase you, hold you, bite you, kiss you and just adore you.”

You backed up a bit. “Chase me, huh? Well, I supposed cats chase bunnies.” You nibbled your lip. “Chase me.”

Levi’s eyes widened when you turned and quickly sprinted away. He purred in delight before launching himself out of his chair and running after you. “Little bunny!”

You squeaked as Levi appeared right in front of you. “Levi!” You ran around your apartment with Levi right behind you. “Danger kitty!”

He grabbed you and lifted you. “Got you.”

You kicked your legs and gazed at him. “You’re fast.”

“Does that scare you?”

You shook your head. “No.”

He sat with you on his lap. “I’m glad.”

You cuddled up to Levi and nuzzled the crook of his neck. “You’re so comforting to me.” You closed your eyes a moment. “You just make me feel safe.” You relaxed against Levi. “No one has ever made me feel this way before.”

Levi held you close and knew that there was pain in your past and his presence was just fixing that for you. He kissed your forehead a few times. He blushed a little when he felt your heart slow a little, your breathing too, his presence had calmed you that much you’d drifted off to sleep in his arms.

He squeezed you a little. “I’ll protect you and love you, always.”

genuine question!! why do you care about sefikura so much when they are not real people? i get not liking a ship for whatever reason but your strong feelings on the ship seem unwarranted when you're literally running a dirty confessions blog. liking sefikura =/= condoning abuse nor invalidating real peoples trauma. cloud is not real. neither is sephiroth. thats why you can sexualise them silly style on a tumblr blog! i do not mean this maliciously, i am genuinely wondering

To start, above all of the other concerns, I don't like nor allow anything related to sefikura on this blog because it conflicts with the pedophilia rule. In game canon, Cloud and Sephiroth first met when Cloud was a young teenager, and Sephiroth was very much an adult.

That alone is enough to make it not the kind of content I want to promote to an audience. Though I do run a dirty confessions blog, I aim to make it as safe as a space as possible for everyone. Dirty, sexy, or NSFW spaces do not automatically have to be an anything goes, "you shouldn't have a problem with anything if you go here" place. In that light, I tag kinks that may be upsetting just as I don't allow underage, abusive, and other dynamics of relationships that can not only be triggering, but a bad, dangerous example for teens and other young people.

I am fully aware that fiction is not a direct equivalent to reality. However, I think it is very much true that it has a real effect on reality, especially in how individuals see themselves in it and relate to it. I've had a conversation on this same topic before with a veteran of the FF7 fandom who witnessed a Vincent/Yuffie roleplay couple online turn out to be a real pedophilic situation. Obviously, this is far from the case for every instance, but it happens. Just as I cannot allow confessions about underage characters to protect potential teenagers looking at this blog, I also cannot allow the romanticization of a relationship that could hurt or remind traumatized people of their own pain.

I do not believe that every person who ships sefikura "condones abuse" or "invalidates trauma". Likely, most don't even think about that aspect and simply like seeing the characters do whatever they want to together. I understand that. But speaking from the perspective of a traumatized person who has related deeply to Cloud Strife's story, I do believe that there is something to the dynamic that just isn't being understood if it's being ignored to play dolls. This is not to say that Cloud and Sephiroth being together is a 1:1 mirror that will remind anyone who's ever been in a bad relationship of their pain. Rather, it's what Sephiroth represents to Cloud, and how the games portray his feelings towards him. In some readings, you might even argue that Sephiroth is a metaphor for trauma: something unbeatable, always in the back of your mind, waiting to seduce you back to the patterns of self destructive behavior that the traumatic event might have created in you. I think that Cloud's struggle with this and his efforts to move past it are a large core of FF7's story, and to me it rings hollow to ignore that because neither character is, as you said, "real".

I don't expect to change anyone's mind, and my stance on this has already been clear on the front page of the blog for over a year now. I am sure that tens of dozens of sefikura fans who otherwise liked the blog have blocked me over this. And that's fine! Nobody has to agree with me, and there clearly will always be another space to go to for those that want to see that stuff. But it matters to me both on a personal level and as the mod of a public blog to talk about this stuff in a different light. Because if fiction can help people in a real way, it can also hurt them in a real way. I think that a level-headed perspective on all these issues can be reached. It's not all or nothing.

my pokemon bw friend code, for anyone else who may have jumped through the necessary hoops to get nintendo wfc working.. and if you havent but want to know how, then i'd be happy to help :-)

SO MUCH rambling under the cut because its absolutely incredible to me how all the pieces fell into place for this

there are several issues that would stop someone from using nintendo WFC for a DS game

1. nintendo WFC was shut down in 2014.

2. the nintendo DS has outdated wifi capabilities; it can only connect to open networks or networks with WEP security. it doesn't support modern WPA wifi.

3. im also doing all this on a 3DS, and obviously online services for the 3DS shut down in april.

so you would think using online services for pokemon bw would be out of the question. but you'd be wrong!!

pokemon bw/bw2 are unique in that (afaik) they're the only DS pokemon games to have "DSi enhanced" versions, which are what they sound like. this is important because the DSi does support modern wifi connections!

so if someone had a copy of pokemon bw/bw2 that was DSi enhanced, they could use modern a internet connection. this would also work if you used this copy on a 3ds, since the DSi binaries would pull from the 3DS wifi settings.

"but tetra the WFC and 3DS online services have both shut down!!" USING THE POWER OF MODDING ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. a development team called Kaeru released their own WFC services, a restoration of the official servers, that can be used on your DS/3DS via changing the DNS of your wifi connection!!!!!!!! check it out at kaeru.world/projects/wfc (tumblr wont let me directly link it for some reason)

so there you have it. there is the issue of if you dont HAVE a DSi enhanced copy of the game, but with a modded 3DS you can find a ROM of pokemon bw/bw2 with the DSi enhance thing, and then use that!!!! the end, roll credits etc.

funny enough, i did have to get past one more issue after this.

i tried several different pokemon white ROMs with the DSi enhancements, but they all would give me an error message when booting up the game. it said something like "DSi binaries missing! press any button to continue in DS mode."

so the DSi enhanced ROMs i could find online were..just not functional. i tried several and they had the same issue. and that takes me right back to the nintendo DS wifi limitations problem. a phone hotspot could be a work around, but since i have an iphone i cant set my hotspot to have no password!!!! unless i wanted to use fucking. a mcdonalds restaurants wifi or something, i was stuck.

tbe only reason i managed to make it work is because of an old reddit post discussing the same issue. someone in the comments gave a copy of the DSi enhanced pokemon white that ACTUALLY WORKED when i tried it. and while its very possible they got it from a site i would have been able to find, i still think it's neat.

isnt it cool how the stars can align like that for something like this? something that's only been kept alive and functioning because of the passion and love the modding community has for it?

About that Roadmap...

So I think now is a good time to talk about what the future of Palworld should be. Yes, I'm aware of all the negatives that people have said about Palworld but I REALLY like the monster catcher genre, so I just want Palworld to be a better game rather than a game that has to be cancelled because it supposedly used AI or is an genuine example of plagiarism (which from the definition of the word is a semantic argument outside of literal theft).

I can't chastise people who are being short with Palworld too much because I was literally that kid that said Digimon was a knockoff of Pokemon.

I refused to watch it and argued with anyone about it. Once I actually watched the show I realized that it had nothing in common with Pokemon (no monster collection, real stakes, character development, and villains that are a real threat) and when years later Pokemon just so happen to discover the idea of Mega Evolution I was like "This is what we've come to huh? Will Pikachu be wearing jeans next?" but I really like Mega Evolution in Pokemon and play Romhacks specifically because they have Mega Evolutions in them so it's like, I don't really care who had the idea first, I care about how the idea is implemented.

So on that note, if the Palworld devs want to improve the game (after patching things up of course) the best course of action is to be more like Rimworld. Specifically Raids.

Raids are a really powerful narrative device in Rimworld. Sure Vanilla rimworld is dominated by the killbox strat but even with that, enemy raids can still erupt from the ground and drop from the sky and that's what Palworld needs.

Pathing is always going to be a bug bear and I imagine pathing patches and pathing mods will have to work together to make it really work but a good work around for raids that take place at hard to traverse areas would be drop ships.

Imagine the Syndicate driving their legally distinct LAAT, and in order to end the raid you have to destroy the ship but while the ship is there it's spawning enemy pals and humans with guns basically every 15 seconds and initially drops like a dozen of them on top of you.

What if a subterranean vehicle just bursts from the ground, destroying everything in its way and it has a big door and just a bunch of humans and pals (that can fit in the ship so small ones) just piled out and start attacking?

Raid Bosses are supposed to be a thing and I don't know how they will manifest that gameplay mechanic but it's important that raids can fuck your shit up. Might even be spicier if your pals could be killed or kidnapped in a raid that goes really bad.

Now the Palworld devs said they want to make PVP work and not have it fall apart like Rust and previous imitators have. I looked into Rust PVP, I reflected on the many years I've spent playing PVP games.

And I just have no idea. The only thing I can think of is "Make it like EVE online." Because EVE online has this limitless skill ceiling and is basically untouchable for new players but by the same token there are tools to enable newcomers to start playing the game without much issues and the community molded itself into safe and unsafe zones and raids are these really extensive affairs that involve dozens of people fighting for weeks on end. Form alliances, breaking them up, etc.

I don't know how to put that into Palworld other than make every place outside of the safe zone territory an area where you can build a base, but you can only personally build 4 bases. Other players have to build bases and you have to take those over but when you raid a lower level person's base your level is made equal to them.

And maybe, I dunno, once you start taking bases from other players the risk of your own base being raided by AI multiplies (in terms of frequency and power), and if any player claims your base afterwards in your absence (or as a result of your defeat) then they get the pals that were stationed for that base. So new players can get high level Pals by just waiting for AI raids to attack unattended or poorly defended bases.

And there's no fast travel so once you get really far away from your base you better learn some tech to help you get to a base fast if you want to actively defend it (There's like maybe a period of 30 seconds where the base is being converted where if you show up the conversion is paused in a battlefront sort of way).

The idea is that much with the main game, you are going to slip up. The AI is going to get lucky and someone is going to steal your progress and you can either sign a truce with them or you can get revenge. And that sort of repeats over and over again until everyone gets bored or one player somehow rules the entire map.

That's my idea. That's what I do here. If anyone makes use of this idea for anything, I don't need credit, I don't need money, Just send me a slice of Pepperoni Pizza and we'll be good.

What’s your favorite Sims death?

I didn't think I had an answer for this because I don't usually kill my sims...and then I remember that the first story I posted on tumblr was a Black Widow Challenge. I think my perennial favorite is the old pool with no ladders trick, which got harder in Sims 3. But if you put cones and caution tape around the pool while someone is swimming... I mean, how did they miss those warning signs when they went swimming? *walks away whistling*

Alpha CC or MaxisMatch?

For Sims 3 I like Alpha hair, skin, makeup, skin details, etc, but I don't mind a lot of the EA clothes. With the right texture or pattern, some of those things can be really cute. And really...I guess it's the same for Sims 4.

Do you cheat your sims weight?

In Sims 3, no. In Sims 4, it's situational. I don't have an issue with overweight sims. I'm overweight myself. But it drove me bananas when Noa, an active sim who swims every single day for her job didn't lose the baby weight. So...sometimes?

Do you move objects?

Absolutely. It's the bane of my existence that you can't pick up and move sims in Sims 4.

Favorite Mod?

My favorites are all the toddler mods by @thesweetsimmer111.

Livin' Large for Sims 1. I bought the first game for my kids and we just kept going from there. Now, I'm the only one who still plays. My first experience with the franchise goes back to playing Sim City on a Macintosh computer in college, so now you know I'm super old.

Okay, so if we count sims born in-game, then in Sims 3 it would clearly be Keahi Solomon. If that doesn't count, then I'd say Ciaran Delaney. For Sims 4, it would be Travis Stephenson.

I don't think? If I did, it would have been in my Sims 2 era, but I don't remember doing so.

My favorite is almost always pale blonde, either Sims 3 or Sims 4. I rarely use it because I'm super aware that I could easily overuse it.

None of them in Sims 3. In Sims 4, I like the casual side braid.

In Sims 3, it's toddler. All day, every day. Gimme those adorable toddlers! In Sims 4, the baaaaaaabies. OMG. The babies. I can't get enough.

I haven't gotten the hang of building in Sims 4 yet. Everyone says it's easier but I find it kind of daunting. I enjoy building in Sims 3, but I wouldn't consider myself a builder. Which is a long way to say... gameplay.

I'm not. I wish I had that skill.

Not a lot, really. I'm still a storyteller (I used to write Sims 2 stories on the TSR community forum) but I'm trying to get better at screenshots.

I think about a year and a half? I really only started it so I'd have a place to post screenshots that wouldn't get downvoted to hell, and I found a really fun community. Y'all are the best.

I have zero photoshop skills so I just try to go for composition, angles, and lighting and hope for the best. Doesn't always work, but sometimes I get some bangers.

SimPAI, an initial review

So recently a new Sims 2 tool has emerged: SimPAI; or as it may be known to some: new online version of SimPE

So, I took a look at it, even recorded my initial reaction etc. I don't have the time irl to upload it unfortunately, that may come later, so here, have a lil text review:

Keep in mind that SimPAI is, at time of writing (June 1 2023), still a proof of concept. And it makes sense that a lot of things are rough around the edges or missing. This rough list of impressions is not exactly positive, and while it may take a while for it to get anywhere close to SimPE, I do think it could become a very useful program.

Initial impressions

The UI is very reminiscent of vanilla Sims 2. It fits in well with bodyshop, homecrafter and the game itself. Kudos for that

The CSS does need a lot of work though. Particularly in screen optimization. Dropdowns would, well, drop down off my screen and it's not very mobile-friendly.

Not all resources are supported yet. There are a few resource types that can be viewed and edited, just to name a few: BCON, BHAV, GLOB, #STR, TTAB, TTAS, OBJD. This means that the things you can do with this tool are currently limited quite a bit. You can't make objects or bodyshop content and even though mods are theoretically possible, at the moment it would be far too tedious for the average modder to even bother.

The editors:

TTAB

Starting off with the crowning jewel here, the TTAB editor is honestly better than SimPE. Having separate motive dropdowns for each age/pet instead of an awkward side-scroll with poor visibility is just Amazing. I love it. The only thing that would make this editor better, would be a copy button for motives. This thing is bae.

TTAS

There is a certain naming inconsistency here, the resource being called "TTAB Descriptions" if I recall correctly, instead of "Pie Menu Strings"). This is an easy fix

The TTAS editor shares a bit of an issue shared with #STR and Catalog Strings. I will elaborate later.

BCON (+BCON Strings)

Honestly, it's a good basic editor in both cases. It does what it's supposed to do and does it well. Not much to comment on tbh.

BHAV

Can't skip the BHAV editor as BHAV modder, no? Well, uhhh, to put it bluntly. It's not good at BHAV editing

UI issues make it difficult to see a lot of the elements. Another issue is that the node part of the UI is unbelievably tiny. You really can't see what's going on. You can't get a good view and for BHAV modding, you really do have to see what's going on.

The biggest issue plagueing the BHAV Editor, in my opinion, is that there are no wizards I could see. This is a major disadvantage and would require a modder to either have many Simswiki tabs or Expression type spreadsheets open to figure out which values to enter. This can get even worse when you want to use a Const.

One thing I do like, is that in the false/true target dropdowns, you can select the node you want it to go to and it even shows you the opcode of said code. SimPE take notes!

#STR/Catalog Description

Yeah I don't have all the resource names memorized.

Okay, this is not an issue that everyone would notice or find much of an issue, I think, and that would be that there is no good way to translate. Multilingual strings... I have no idea how to do it. You set individual strings to a language, but does that mean that that string number is then empty in all others? Does adding a string and changing its language set the number to 0? I have no idea! It is an issue that I see English, Finnish, Chinese etc strings all in one window. It's very inconvenient.

SimPE does multilingual strings by simply letting you select a language from a dropdown, you can usually view the default strings to the right of your language x strings. This makes translation a whole lot easier.

OBJD

There are some inconsistencies in terms of naming. Notably, there is "guid" and "Guid" and some inconsistencies in raw data 0x022 aka "sale price" aka "ignore quartertile (SimPE .75) this should be an easy fix

I don't think it can handle or even recognize build subcategories yet. Tbh, SimPE isn't always that good at it either.

GMDC/GMND/SHPE/CRES/TXMT/TXTR/MMAT

Aka all the stuff for objects

None of these resources can currently be edited. MMATs are not even recognised and show up as "unknown".

Exporting a gmdc does not yield a .5gd file, just a .gmnd resource. So you cannot use this program to extract a mesh.

To summarize

My review may sound overwhelmingly critical, but as stated before, it's new, it still has a long way to go.

Do I recommend it? No. Not at this moment. While you can make careers with it, I would personally still use SimPE for that.

The only situation in which I could recommend it, is for MAC users that would like to do some tiny edits. BCON tuning, changing catalog prices or description, tweaking autonomy. It's quite useable for that.

I do think SimPAI could become very useful in the future, so I am looking forward to seeing how it'll develop.

To the developers: kudos for making this! It shows great promise and I'm looking forward to future updates and support for more resource types!

Vent post

Went through a traumatic experience online in November. I've seen friends endure it, but I honestly didn't fully understand how much damage online bigotry could cause until I was the subject of it. I was targeted in an organized smear campaign, orchestrated by a popular member and former mod of a video game discord. Why? For befriending a gay man and shipping our ocs.

That's. It.

That was enough to get me (and him) singled out for surveillance and hate campaigns across multiple platforms.

Yes. I have receipts, but no one wants to read all that. And this is just a vent post anyway.

It got to the point of open, unprovoked hostility, which we reported. The mods would assure us they would act, but they're busy, they have lives, they can't get a call scheduled. Turns out, the delay was to allow them time to investigate the victims, because if they could find a reason, any reason, to shut up the whiny [insert slurs] their job would be so much easier.

Of course bigotry thrives in clusters, so you can't have h0mophobia without white supr3macy. I made the mistake of supporting a Native lesbian for calling out a damn egregious example of the white saviour trope seasoned with forced assimilation. Aaand that was all the mod team needed. They told them if they disclosed the DM, if they showed them what I said, they'd address the issue, they'd use it to better understand and deal with the racism.

I got the ban notice a week later.

But LN, why do you care if this place was such a shithole?

Because it turns out, I was not the only person banned that day. Turns out the mods posted a whole group chat where their bff was making UTTERLY FLASE accusations of criminality and planning a full-on mass reporting campaign against me and my friend. Why? For shipping our "evil ocs" with their "pixel vampire bf" and talking about being gay in the server's LGBTQ+ channel.

They posted the GC in the server for all to see, full of homophobia and bigotry and frothing, senseless hate, but they didn't post my message offering support to someone enduring racism in public. They did post my name, though. Along with the names of vocal bullies and bigots, but only after I was banned and couldn't voice my side. They didn't even do me the courtesy of giving me a heads-up that I was the target of a smear campaign they planned to publish. They didn't warn me they'd be posting my name to be judged for the words of racists and homophobes -- words aimed at me.

When this master plan was discovered, they allowed their good (white) friends a chance to respond. They were given chance after chance -- until they grew bold enough to include the mod team in their ridicule and that was the last straw. "We can excuse white supr3macy and h0mophobia, but we draw the line mocking the mods."

So I was ostracized and silenced and humiliated by so-called "allies" in retaliation for being the victim of harassment, which is nothing new. But what drove me to make this post, is one of them coming into my inbox 2 days before Christmas to "wish me well" and express their hope that I "don't feel resentful that they did what they had to."

I don't know which part they thought was necessary.

Deliberately failing to disclose why I was banned, so they can carry on ignoring their white supr3macy issue with impunity?

Breaking their own rules on ban procedure without so much as a parting flip of the bird?

Allowing their friend to have a final say, to defend the indefensible without showing me the same regard?

I don't know.

I never will, and I know these people will go on patting themselves on the back for their "allyship" while addressing prejudice by silencing the victims.

So many fandoms I find either do not have space for people that dont fit the fandom norm or activity gatekeep people out for stupid reasons.

The furry one, and really most other fandoms, feel very awkward to be in due to my low sense of cuteness. My reasons for liking anthro being more fantastical and seeming to have a lot more depth than most, who seem to be infatuated with the aesthetics alone. Also i keep fucking running into the conservative ones.

I've found ytp communities where all they talk about is how much they hate vegas and then post videos and claim they could see that it used it.

A lot of art, any form of creation, communities seem to also have an issue where people will only post about their own stuff and then not interact with other peoples stuff, making them feel more like advertising boards or business conventions rather than places you can talk. Drawn art is really the last one that hasn't devolved into being a skill before being art, unlike video editing or game development.

Older cartoons will have communities that contain people copyright striking uploads of the cartoons for using their recording of the film aswell as shit talk archivists for making them free and public and lost media finders for taking the value out of personal collections.

The public domain ones have people constantly debating about ai art aswell as telling less skilled people to go to a generic art community instead. Straying outside of the community will have me explaining the concept of public domain often to people, that often still wont understand it and will see it as usual fan art, an AU, or theft.

The source community bullied me for trying to compile all of the source mods made so far. I've completely lost all the joy I got out of it and can only really enjoy the games solo now.

Roleplaying feels like I either need to be able to write multi paragraph posts when taking a very simple action or be comfortable with someone who does not respect me and just wants me to basically write for them for free. Dnd is also incredibly stressful cause of DMs unwilling to accommodate for my adhd.

Not even going to go into detail with anything music or roblox related.

The mike and melissa one was really nice until the fandom owner (owner of the only community) used and abused me

Ive tried making my own communities, but so often people will look into them for only a second and then leave, even when its for something that does not have a fandom at all.

The doom modding one seems nice, but i feel like a lot of my interests alienate the other people due to the age gap. A lot of other fandoms also have the age gap alienation issue, but in the opposite direction. It feels as if there's almost no one in their 20s online that isn't a normie.

Levi lied to you. He said he could go all night, but he was wrong. He went all night and all day and didn’t stop until three days later. He was impressive, giving, and worshipped you. The man just kept cumming but staying hard. The two of you lost the concept of time and it was only when you were getting exhausted and hungry that he stopped. The aftercare you received was pure perfection. He massaged every inch of you, gave you a warm bath, wrapped you in a comfy blanket and fed you food and drink as he held you.

He cradled you in his arms while kissing your forehead a few times. “Do you need anything else, my love?”

You snuggled up to him. “Mm.”

He chuckled. “You’re really tired, huh? Humans are so cute.”

You caressed Levi’s cheek. “I love you.”

“I love you too.”

“Mm, I need to stream for a bit.” You looked at your legs. “I don’t know if I can walk. Levi, could you carry me?”

He stood up with you in his arms and carried you into your office. “Oh, you’ll need a bra.”

You yawned and dragged on your big baggy Batbunny hoodie. “This will do.” You turned everything on and signed in. “I bet everyone is wondering where I’ve been.”

“You’ve been happy and in love with me.”

You giggled. “Yes. Oh, are you hidden enough?”

Levi checked the camera and hummed. “Yeah.”

You started the stream and waved. “Hello, my little bunnies. The warren is open, the lights are on and it’s time to party. I am sorry for the absence but I have been enjoying some romantic time with my boyfriend who you know as Leviathan.”

Levi waved. “Hello.”

You wiggled on his lap making him grunt. Your cheeks heated when you felt him getting hard against your bum. You cleared your throat. “Alright, let’s have a look at the old poll to see what you lot wanted me to play!” You scrolled through the feed and smiled. “Horror. How am I not surprised?” You giggled. “Sure, let’s play a fun horror game.”

Levi squeezed you. “I’ll protect you.”

“Thank you.”

While you entertained the chat and played your game Levi was peering over your shoulder and keeping an eye on your chat. He frowned a little when he saw a few people being nasty about you. He pulled his phone out, logged into his account and messaged the other mods about what was going on. All three of them worked together to remove the comments. What annoyed him was they were seeing Levi as theirs and not yours. These fake fans didn’t like that you had Levi and they wanted him because they thought he was hot. It was pure jealousy.

He set the bot to delete or remove anything that mentioned negative things about you just to help them out. It was becoming clear these people had formed a little hate group against you. He felt helpless. He could deal with issues in person, but when it came to issues online it was a lot harder to deal with. He wanted to put an end to it all, he wanted to protect you, he wanted to make sure your life was filled with love but being an online personality it was a lot harder than he thought possible.

Levi wanted to remove you from any harm. If he could steal you away from the online world, he would but he knew how much you loved your job. He gave you a loving squeeze as he thought things over. He fought against his anxiety and made sure you were focused on playing your game. He noticed the chat was getting a lot better than it was before.

He smiled when someone said you looked like a rabbit. He reached around, squeezed your cheeks with one hand and chuckled. “She’s like a biteable plump bunny.” He turned your head. “Could I get a kiss?”

You pulled your hood a bit to hide your faces and kissed him. “Mm. Love you.”

“Love you so much.”

You nibbled your lip. “I shouldn’t say what I’m thinking 'cause the mic is on.”

He chuckled. “We’ll chat and flirt later.” He helped you turn back around. “She’s all yours again chat.”

You huffed. “I’ll tell you what, chat, you have no idea how much this man behind me gets my heart racing. He went from this shy guy online to this confident beast.” You let out a long sigh. “I love him so much.”

“I love you too.” He leaned a bit so chat could see his face. “Look me in the eyes, little rabbits.”

You gasped. “Levi, they can see you.”

“I know, I want them to.” He pointed at the camera. “You hurt this precious little bunny and I’ll make sure you regret it.”

You whined a bit as you felt aroused and you could see your chat was just as crazy for him. “Leviathan, calm down.”

He gulped hard when he saw them talking about him and revealing what he was. “Tch, you lot are thirsty, huh?”

You leaned and read them. “That’s Levi Ackerman, he is in a vampire mafia group led by Erwin Smith.” You pulled back and looked at Levi. “I didn’t know you were famous, is that why you hid your face?”

Levi stared at you for a while in disbelief. “You…you’re not…you’re not bothered that I’m mafia?”

You cradled his face in your hands. “What matters to me is if you’re safe. Plus, you don’t treat me like trash, you treat me like I’m so precious. I’m not concerned, well, I am a bit about your safety.” You hugged him and whispered. “I suspected something because you sent me so much money and bought me lots of gifts, you have a lot of money.” You pulled back and kissed him. “Remember Levi, I love you for you. I fell in love with the sweet vampire who was shy and flustered around me. I don’t care about how much you earned or that you work for Erwin Smith. What matters to me is you love me just as much as I love you and you’re safe.”

Levi whined a bit. “Well, there’s an issue with that all.”

You frowned a bit. “What’s wrong?”

“I love you a lot more.”

You giggled at how sweet he was. “This isn’t a competition, my grumpy black kitty.”

He smirked a bit. “I’d win.”

“Even if I pout and gaze at you like this.”

He stared at your cute doe-eyed look. “Tch, damn it bunny. You’re too cute when you look at me like that.”

You giggled and kissed him. “You’re adorable.”

He sighed. “Joking aside, I’m glad I don’t scare you. I’ll tell you more after the stream.”

You flinched and turned to the camera. “Helloooo, little bunnies.” You giggled at all the things people were saying. “Yes, yes, we’re very in love. For those concerned about me, thank you so much but Levi is very gentle with me and incredibly loving. He’d never hurt me. The only thing he’s done that you could view as hurting has been drinking my blood, but I agreed to it all.” You wrapped Levi’s arms around you. “He’s wonderful and I love him. I don’t mind if you don’t support us, that’s okay and if you want to leave the warren, that’s okay too. Go where you are happy.” You blew kisses to them and felt so happy when people sent non-stop praise. “I don’t deserve you lot, I really don’t.” You sniffed back tears. “I love you all.”

Levi nipped your ear. “But you love me more.”

You petted his hand. “Always.” You cleared your throat. “Right, now the crying emotional moment is over with, let’s get back to gaming.” You played longer than normal with your fans because you’d been away for a while. It was starting to get late and the sun was starting to rise. “Okay, we have gone on longer than normal today. I hope you enjoyed this extra-long stream! Time to turn down the lights, get all bundled up and snuggle up in your spots in the warren. Rest well, my little bunnies. Love you all.”

Levi peered around you. “Bye-bye.” He waited for you to sign off on everything before grabbing you, tickling you and showering you in kisses making you squeal in delight. “Tasty bunny.”

“Can we talk about your job? You’ve mentioned before you want to let it all out in the open.”

He picked you up and carried you to the sofa. “Okay.” He sat down with you. “I work for Erwin Smith. He is the leader of the vampire mafia group in this city and beyond. We own a lot of things here, such as clubs, bars, restaurants and even shops. We handle vampires and vampire-related issues. Recently, I dealt with a businessman who believed he was the prophet but he was draining vampires of their blood to be stronger. The vampires he had were infected by a very old virus.”

You rubbed Levi’s chest. “Must have been horrible to see.”

“It was.” He shook his head. “I have also stopped a vampire bleeding a lot of humans and using them as…slaves…” He winced a bit. “I’m not giving you the best image of vampires.”

You kissed his face all over. “You’re incredible and you’ve given me a lovely image of vampires. There are ugly sides to any race. I mean, humans are shitty people.”

He caressed your cheek. “I don’t think you’re shitty.”

“Humans.”

“You’re not.”

You covered his mouth with your hand. “I know I’m not to you. I just meant humans in general. Anyway, my heart goes out to you. You’re always busy and you work so hard with Erwin to make this city safe. I’m proud of you.” You cupped his face and kissed him over and over. “My wonderful handsome vampire boyfriend.”

He nuzzled his nose against yours. “Mine.” He hummed. “I have more to say.”

“I’m all ears.”

Levi started talking about all the things he did for Erwin, including beating people and interrogating others. He went into depth about how things happened in the city and vampires. He went on about the vampire hierarchy and how pureblood vampires differed from turned ones. He explained there were key families, including his and Erwin’s, who had power for generations and worked hard to look after others.

You nodded and hummed a bit. “That…that’s a lot…to think your kind hid in the shadows for as long as you did…it must have been so hard.”

“It was.” He massaged your legs. “But, I have you now and I’m happy and deeply in love.”

You hugged him tightly. “You’re incredible. I love you so much and I’m so damn proud of you.”

He hugged you back. “Mm, I love you too. It makes me happy that you still love me and it flusters me that you’re proud of me.” He pulled back a little and began kissing you. “Mm.”

You smiled against his lips. “Levi?”

“Mm.”

“Are you hard?”

He whined. “Yes.” He released a long sigh. “You just make me feel…” He caressed your cheek. “You are so sexy and tasty.”

You licked your lips. “Wanna get naked?”

He growled as he lay you down on the sofa. “Yes.”

You gasped. “Oh, could we take this to the bed? Also, no going for days this time.”

He chuckled. “Yes, my love bunny.”

Levi offered his hand to you and helped you off his motorbike. “Now, remember to stay with me and don’t wander off.”

You let him pull your bunny helmet off as you giggled. “I know, I know. I’m not a kid.”

“I know you’re not, but you’re walking into a restaurant full of vampires.”

You smiled sweetly. “But they’re all your friends and in your gang.”

He sighed. “That’s why it’s dangerous. They’ll just see how cute, curvy, squishy, cuddly and tasty you are and try and take you away.”

You hummed a laugh. “Well, I love you and I won’t leave you.”

He cupped your face and kissed you. “These people are determined like me. If they steal you away from me and you fall for them, I will warn you little bunny.” His eyes darkened but not in a scary way but more like a man deeply and obsessively in love. “I will hunt you both down, kill him and then take you. I’ll make you wear a cute collar, lock you up in a room and never let you leave again.”

You smiled a little. “What if I like the sound of that? What if I wanna put on a cute little collar and be wrapped up in your arms for eternity?”

Levi shivered at your words. “F-Fuck, bunny behave yourself.”

“You brought it up.”

He grabbed your cheeks and squeezed. “I should punish you.”

You smirked. “Want me to count the spanks?”

He snarled as his fangs grew a bit. He looked away and growled. “Tch, damn it.”

You giggled and slipped off his bike. “I’ll stop the teasing.”

He hugged you tightly. “Naughty bunny.”

You kissed his arm. “I am. So, shall we meet your friends?”

“Yes, please.”

He kept an arm around you and squeezed your hip as you both walked into the restaurant. It was filled with chatter and a mixture of different kinds of people, from overly dressed-up people to those who looked chilled and relaxed. Everyone appeared the same age like they just stopped aging when they reached their 30s. There was a clear ranking situation in status with how people were served and the group around them.

As Levi walked you through the room people were gazing at the two of you and whispering, like Levi was important. A few others bowed to him a little and looked rather scared and nervous. Levi had told you the things he did for Erwin, but you didn’t expect him to be this important of a person. It worried you that you weren’t good enough to be at his side, at the same time you were incredibly proud to be his lover.

You snapped out of your world when you saw Erwin. You’d met Erwin before, he knew where you lived and collected Levi from you, but you never knew he was such a powerful man. “Hi, Erwin.”

Erwin hugged you tightly as he said your name. “Lovely to see you. Thank you for coming to this get-together. It’s been so hard to get Levi here. You’re like an angel.”

Levi pulled you close. “Goddess.”

“Sorry, goddess. It’s lovely to have you. You will be part of this family for eternity.”

Levi squeezed you. “Of course.”

You looked around and noticed two men standing together kept staring at you with a look of pure excitement in their eyes. After looking away you locked eyes with a man who almost looked disgusted by you. You flinched a bit when you felt something dark coming from him. “Mm.”

Levi looked down at you. “Are you okay?”

“Yeah, it’s just that man over there doesn’t seem to like me.”

The man you were referring to was Ivor, he was head of the most important pureblood family. Ivor was a stickler for the ancient rules and didn’t like humans dating vampires too much, humans were better as mistresses. Levi was the head of the Ackerman family, so the fact that Levi was parading you around, a human, as his lover and potential wife didn’t sit right with him. He was tall, with broad shoulders a chiselled jawline and a mean glare. His hair was messy and tamed black locks that framed his perfect face. Rings covered his fingers, but it wasn’t the only way he showed off. His white shirt was open so low that when it reached his waistcoat, it wasn’t buttoned. He was a man who loved his body and wanted everyone to see it.

Levi kissed the top of your head. “Ignore that asshole, okay?”

“Okay.”

“Focus on meeting my friends.” He gestured to a very tall man. “This is Mike.”

You shook his hand and squeaked when he sniffed you. “A-Ah, hello.”

Mike hummed. “She smells incredible, but I can also smell Levi on her.” He smirked at you. “He’s a hungry beast, huh?”

Your cheeks burned. “Maybe.”

Levi gently rubbed your back. “Ignore him.” He gestured to another man. “This is Henri.”

You gasped when a slender man with delicate rings, a long neck, smooth soft skin and gentle features approached you. He was the type of man who could smoothly talk anyone into doing as he asked. He had such soft and cute features, but you knew very well he’d be in full control. His suit was pressed and perfect, clearly designed and measured for him. His eyes were a greenish blue that sparkled with mischievousness. His hair was a beautiful deep pink as well as his brows. You hummed as he took your hand and kissed the back of it.

Henri lightly ran his lips on the back of your hand. “Bonjour, mademoiselle. It is an honour and pleasure to meet you.”

Levi tugged you back. “Oi, Henri, tone it down.”

“I can’t help myself when there is a beautiful woman before me.”

“You better control yourself or I’ll pull your eyes out over and over again, even when they’re regrowing.”

Henri smirked. “Promis, mon mi?”

You giggled and turned to an average-height gentleman with dark brown hair with a side parting, but it was so neatly cut like a butler or gentleman from years back would wear. He was in a buttoned-up shirt, waistcoat and smart shoes with a pocket watch on a chain. He adjusted his thin square glasses bringing attention to his beautiful and soft reddish brown eyes.

The man flinched when you looked at him. He offered his big slender hand to you. “Theodore.”

Erwin chuckled. “Come now, Theodore, she’s harmless she won’t hurt you, so don’t be so nervous.”

He bowed deeply to you as you shook his hand. “I’m so sorry.”

You hummed a laugh. “It’s alright, I get shy sometimes too. It’s lovely to meet you.”

Theodore’s eyes sparkled. “I’m uh…I’m glad I’m not alone.”

Henri slapped his arm around Theodore and squeezed him. “The more you get to know this fucker, the better. He’s pretty incredible, he’ll design you the most beautiful clothes and shoes.”

Your eyes lit up. “Really?”

Theodore nodded. “Y-Yes. I’d be happy to design things for you.”

Henri referred to himself. “I control a lot of the media. So, if you want to star in a TV show, I can help you.”

You hummed a laugh. “That’s cool, but I’m already known by people.”

Henri stared at you. “What, really?”

Levi kissed the side of your head. “She’s a gamer and has a massive following. Millions follow her. She streams and uploads videos as well. She’s Batbunny.”

Henri’s eyes widened. “Batbunny!? I’ve heard of you! Wow, that’s impressive. I would love to talk more about how you do it all. I want to learn.”

Theodore moved closer and hummed. “I ah, I’ve seen your designs for clothes that your fans can buy, they’re very lovely.”

You patted your cheeks as you felt flustered. “That’s uh…wow…”

Levi pulled you against him. “You lot have flustered her. That’s my job.”

You tugged on Levi’s shirt. “Um.”

He caressed your cheek. “What’s wrong bunny?”

“I’m hungry. Does this place have food for humans?”

He kissed your cheek. “Of course. Erwin and I own this place and we welcome anyone here.” He looked over at his friends. “We’re going to take a seat and get something to eat. You lot are welcome to join us.” He guided you over to a quiet booth. “Sorry, it’s rather noisy here.”

You shuffled in your seat. “It’s okay. It’s rather nice here. I loved meeting everyone.”

“I’m glad.” He held your hand and started kissing the back of it as his friends joined you. “I love you so much.”

“I love you too.”

Henri leaned his cheek on his hand. “Ah, pure love is so sweet. C'est beau.”

Erwin handed you a menu. “We have a lot of options here.”

You looked through it with Erwin. “Mm, you’re right. This is amazing.”

“Levi added a lot more after he started dating you.”

You felt your cheeks burn at the thought. You glanced over at Levi to see he was chatting with Henri and Mike. It warmed your heart to see Levi smiling and laughing so much with them. “He’s amazing.”

“He’s a good man.”

You reached over and poked Levi’s cheek. “You’re cute when you laugh.”

He smiled at you. “Thank you.”

“I like it when you laugh.”

He kissed you. “I laugh and smile a lot with you.”

You nodded. “You do. I just like seeing your fangs.”

He nipped your finger before licking it. “Cute.”

“Are you hungry?”

“I’m peckish.”

You ran your finger over his bottom lip. “You can bite my finger.”

He took your finger into his mouth, piercing it and drank some of your blood. “Mm.” He licked your wound and then healed it with his blood. “Thank you.”

Henri sighed. “Even her blood smells cute.”

“Levi.” Ivor slammed his hands on the table. “Explain to me why five of the top pureblood vampire family members are hanging out with some lower-class human.”

Henri smirked. “Explain to me why you’ve got a rod up your ass. Is that the sort of thing you’re into? I mean, kudos to you.”

Ivor snarled. “Shut your mouth, you perverted Kirby.”

You snorted a laugh. “That’s kind of funny.”

Ivor blushed at your laugh. “Stop that!”

You stared at him. “Stop what?”

“That noise you were making and you can stop that look too.”

Levi caressed your cheek. “He meant your laugh and your face.”

You frowned a bit. “I can’t stop them.” You looked at Ivor. “You’re a strange man, but you’re funny. Also, I’m sorry that you don’t like me being here, but my boyfriend invited me here.”

Ivor snarled. “Which one of you fuckers is dating this…this…this fucking…” His cheeks got redder. “Your face annoys me!”

Levi stood up. “Tch, oi that’s my girlfriend.”

Ivor locked eyes with Levi. “Should have known. Your mother tainted your family line.”

“Keep talking, I dare you. I’ve been desperate to let off some steam.”

Erwin stood up. “Levi, not here and not in front of your girl.”

Theodore smiled at you. “L-Let me help you o-order.”

You leaned on the table. “Thank you.” You giggled as you chatted with Theodore and felt so at ease with him. He had a nice relaxing presence. “You’re more relaxed with me now.”

He laughed nervously. “Y-yes. I just…you’re pretty a-and Levi is a big deal.” He cleared his throat. “S-So the person he dates is like…wow…”

You pinched his cheek and wiggled it making him blush hard. “So cute. I’m not a big deal really.” You leaned back as the food was placed down. It felt weird being the only one eating anything. “Umm.”

Levi stopped talking to Ivor and rubbed your back. “I’ll order some food.”

“Oh, but you don’t need to.”

He kissed your cheek. “I can eat food here. They do food for vampires.” He waved the waiter over and gave his order. “Anyone else?”

You nibbled your lip as everyone ordered food. “Ah…mm. You’re all too nice.”

Ivor folded his arms. “Look at the human with her food. Almost like a farm animal.”

You looked up at him as you welled up. “Are you calling me fat?”

Ivor panicked. “A-Ah! N-no!” He grabbed Levi’s arm and shook him a bit. “Damn it, Levi, make her stop that thing she’s doing! I don’t like it!”

Levi snarled. “Then say sorry! She’s a perfect cute peach!”

Ivor gazed at you to see your doe eyes filled with tears. “I’m sorry. I wasn’t calling you fat. I was just saying…I’m sorry.” He cleared his throat. “I’m leaving!”

You sniffed a bit. “Levi?”

He cuddled you. “You’re my perfect little peach, okay? My squishy bunny.” He covered your face with loving kisses. “Ignore him, okay? Ivor is a stuck-up prick. You are loved and cared about here.” He put some food on your fork and offered it to you. “Eat up, beautiful.”

You saw everyone was staring at you. “Why’s everyone staring at me?”

Mike chuckled. “It’s because we’re rarely around humans. It’s nice to see something normal for once. We don’t mean to stare so much.”

Levi turned your head. “Focus on me and only me. Now, eat.”

You did as Levi instructed and adored the food. “Mm, that’s delicious.”

luckily since im on belladonna cove and all the apartment lots there are also on the lot bin, im thinking of just taking extensive screenshots of my makeover, delete the building and place it fresh again, then speedrun the changes.

but before that, it might be in my best interests to find whats overlapping with the mailbox and get rid of it. it might also be the cause of why the mailbox wasnt changing automatically to the apartment mailbox and the community lot phone, as it tends to do.

actually, i never tried categorizing it as a community lot, placing the phone, then changing to apartment and see if helped... i could just to save myself some extra work, but ill need to review my stuff regardless.

🌸 What's your earliest memory of playing the sims?

My earliest memory is playing Sims 3 and visiting the future. I know that’s not actually my earliest experience, but my memory is very bad and this is the earliest I can remember. I definitely remember going outside the city and collecting parts(?) to unlock some spaceship or underground bunker. I forget.

💫 How did you discover the sims franchise?

I honestly have no idea lol Maybe just seeing it in the store and it seemed fun?

Again, poor memory here lol I think I may have started with the Sims 3 base game?

Many many years lol Pretty sure I’ve been playing since the Sims 3 came out at the very least. So… about 15 years?

Sims 4 c: I actually hated this game when it first came out because it was so different from 3. I remember saying I would never get into 4 and would never stop playing 3 yet here I am.

Tiger Rain, the sim you see in my Super Sim challenge, is sort of like me. But again, I’m terrible at making sims and every time I asked if she looked like me, people always said no. Eventually, I gave up and just made her a mix of me and what I wish I looked like. And yes! As stated, she’s the main star of my Super Sim challenge and I often use her in other challenges/scenarios.

🫐 How often do you play the sims?

I try to play every day. However, I’ve got commitment issues! I’ll be obsessed with one thing for months, then that obsession will switch to something else. So, right now, I’m obsessed with the sims and that's all I’m doing. Eventually, I will move on to something else for a few months, then something else and eventually I’ll make it back to the sims lol

🌱 Do/Can you relate to any of your sims?

I’m pretty boring, honestly. Though I do tend to make them similar to me in some ways, they live far more interesting and better lives than I do, even through all the torture haha

I’ve only finished one challenge as of the date I’m writing this. I’ve attempted many over the years, some a few times. I can’t really think of any that stand out above the rest. Maybe the Asylum challenge?

In the game itself? Hmm, that’s a tough one. I’m quite fond of collecting things and trying out small, forgotten features that I’ve never done before! There’s so much to do in this game with all the packs, most of it overlooked.

Fall/Autumn, 100%. There is nothing better than red and orange leaves floating on a chilly breeze. And don’t even get me started on Halloween!

No :( Sadly I only have a few people to talk to about it. They’re online and I'm not technically friends with most of them so we don’t talk often. Mostly, I just scream my thoughts about the sims into the void or at my vice-cultleader Meg lol

✉️ How big is your mods folder?

Very small. I don’t mind mods, but I’m the type to prefer games as they were intended. I only use the MCCC mod, some eyes CC, a uniform CC and colorful berry skins CC. I have been thinking about adding a taco stand and a tennis court, though.

☘️ Do you have any other social media where you post sims related content?

I started posting my content on WordPress. I’m not really sure where else to post my stuff. I’ve asked around, but people usually just say tumblr.

📱 What made you want to start a simblr?

WordPress has a limit on images. Because I play so much and take so many screenshots, I have quickly arrived at nearly 60% media storage. I’ll have to pay to increase it, which I may do I don’t know yet, so I migrated to Tumblr. I have no plans of leaving but I would like to find another place where I can post my sims content (without having to pay extra.)

I’m not gonna lie, I’m a yo ho yo ho 🏴‍☠️ simmer, and it’s because EA doesn’t care about its client base. They don’t do real quality testing at this point from what I can tell and they don’t release price worthy gameplay content in favor of kits, and because they’re the only current life simulator, they can get away with it. It takes loads of CC/mods to bring the game up to what I feel the game could be in terms of standards, and when you can’t actually play the game offline reliably without having to go online even when you try to only play offline, can’t refuse to update without actually going into the files itself, and their updates regularly break mods and the game itself plus actual glitches get half-assed patched and then come back frequently, I’m not interested in giving them money at this point. I was almost feeling half-optimistic for this expansion based on early reviews from YouTubers and then this reminded me why I have no faith lmao. Remember when we got worlds like windenburg or even newcrest with tons of lots instead of worlds that have all of like twelve lots or less including things like gyms and bars? And prebuilds look like they spent five minutes slapping the bare minimum in? It feels like a slap in the face for the low effort versus the cost they charge and I can’t justify that.

I definitely relate. I've gone back in forth giving my game a break and it's so funny because I would get excited when a new pack is announced and I'd ramble on to my daughter, who is also a simmer, about the stuff coming bc im legit happy, but at the same time I'm like...WE SHOULD HAVE ALREADY HAD THIS! 🤣 then I'm complaining about what it's lacking afterwards. I seriously went on a whole rant to her about Windenburg being the only pack we've gotten with 27 lots, and it's been downhill for packs ever since and that im more excited for base game updates over new packs, so it's truly a love-hate relationship indeed on my end with the game. With all of the issues going on, I do come back to it and have a degree of fun, thanks to mods of course, but, there are so many avenues of improvement that this game needs to go down to make it shine. Gameplay should be the priority.

I honestly dont want a new world with the next EP, bc IMO it feels like the new world just ticks the EP checklist box. They're beautiful, yes, but so empty, and I hate that. If there were the possibility for worlds that we already have to be expanded upon by adding new lots or new neighborhood sections, then hell, I'd take that over new ones. Make some world kits or something if they want to upsell like what sims 3 did; purchase the world if you want it or even better...let new worlds be base game updates and focus on beefing up the EPs with gameplay that expands everything and making it worth the $40+ price tag. Those options sound a bit out there, but I beg for substantial gameplay to take a center focus in these packs.

This is really old post but it’s still the realest shit ever.

I was heavily involved in the lore channel on the official discord server, and after a little over a year I realized we kept going in circles. It was king, eden, micilanious stuff that have already been discussed tens of times. And the occasional bigot (trust me there was weirdly alot, it’s whole issue with how the mods handle that type of thing)

And then rinse, repeat. It was the same questions, the same discussions, even with the new seasons, it always circled back to king, eden, micillanious. And when there was a fresh topic it never lasted long, it was either something small, or something that’s almost pure theory that it was more of a headcannon, some interesting, some straight up memorable and memeable for how absured they are, in a bad way.

Because there’s like, nothing, absolutely almost nothing ingame aside from the implication of the king, ascending to eden, and the few quirks of that REALLY should be expanded upon if you take out concept art and info from socials out of the equation. But again, never confirmed.

And even then, the people who get accustomed to in the channel leave, me included because we all come to same realization that sky has failed in this storytelling stated above. The environmental storytelling isint enough, the “subtlety” is turning into empty murals with barely a meaning

And the storytelling we got in AURORA for example was 90% theory’s that many have long accepted to be cannon, the rest were again, tidbits and quirks that left way more questions than answers than it should. It wasn’t new, it was just confirmed. Which even then is extremely rare. And thus out with the old, in with the new, and the discussion loop starts again, but with new people, who will repeat what has been said in the echo chamber for the 100th time, and they too will leave.

A core part of the shard memory, that have CONTEXT, was not in the game, but online.

I’m also not saying sky as had NO lore, it definitely has since this post was made, but the way they tell what little they even show us is barely next to nothing. And the major plot points like flight guide being Ayin (Prarie elders) apprentice HAD to be in their social card. The one time they could use a mural to tell us a very important detail, they didn’t. And there was zero reason they couldn’t, wind paths had enough walls and enough space to add one, one mural was all they needed. Even then they could’ve kept It in flight guides card whilst still having ingame for extra context, but they didint.

I left skycord over two ago months now I think, and it’s so refreshing without having to listen to the soul sucking questions of the king, eden, bigot nonsence as a Cherry on top, and the hundreds of micillanious topics that have been nitpicked to shreds in the same perspective every single time.

Only perk is with how unconfirmed everything is, I can shape the story to be how I want, it’s character’s, it’s themes, the only good thing. As it benefits my headcannons and my writing for said character’s. But just because it benefits me outside of the game, doesn’t mean it makes the lack of context forgivable.

Even with two embers in the works, which I am excited for, I’ll just find it disappointing that they couldn’t structure a story in the game, or at least even try to.

I played Journey. I believe tgc failed at delivering their lore in sky

In Journey, even if you aren't a theorist and don't delve into every tiny detail, you still get the basic idea of what the hell happened there: I played journey with my little brother by my side and he figured it out without me saying anything, only looking at the cutscenes.

Sky? Unless you follow sky twitter, sky discord, and scroll through the countless concept art, you have no idea what even is the basic story of the world of sky. What led to the kingdom being abandoned. Ask any sky player that doesn't fixate on lore and they don't even know that the king existed.

If your players need to access outer resources such as discord and twitter to get even the basic idea of what the story is - sorry, you failed in delivering the lore.

Of course, I'm not saying that everything should be given on a silver plate, but god damn, there is a difference between leaving the story up to interpretation and not giving any story at all.

For example, the fact that flight guide was the apprentice of Ayin. Ash said this fact was CRUCIAL to the story of flight season, it is the reason the things are the way they are in flight area, why the spirits ended up there in the first place, why flight guide decided to go there at all. How would someone that doesn't have twitter and isn't on discord know that?

Because there is 0 mention of it in the game itself. I'm tired of new areas. Yes you explore them and at first, it's exciting, but after you finish exploring every little part of the new area, which usually doesn't take longer than half an hour, it becomes as bland and boring as the base game realms. I wish tgc would instead focus on making the sky world more lively. To make the realms and the areas in said realms more connected. The flight area almost has zero impact on the forest, except for the new wind paths. The sanctuary has zero impact on the prairie - the mantas seen in there are only seen in there, you don't feel like sanctuary is a part of the prairie. It feels like every area exists in its own little bubble, and every realm is separated by walls from another. I wish they would work on the fauna, making it bigger, adding new creatures, new mechanics with the already existing ones. I want tgc to work on delivering the story better: I want more cutscenes, more quests during seasons that aren't just "go there and bring the spirit that". I want the spirits whose memories are bland, with the spirit only walking around and only giving the emote in the end to be reworked, like the spirits of Isle got reworked, giving them more personality, more importance to the story. I want to feel this world is alive and connected. I want to know the story. I want to know the personality of elders. frick it, I am down to only getting more spirit content. I want to feel like this kingdom was actually alive once, I want to feel how big the disaster was that it wiped out a whole KINGDOM, WHERE PEOPLE LIVED, LOVED, HATED, LAUGHED, CRIED. I want to feel the need to mourn the death of the spirits. I want to feel the need to mourn the death of the kingdom. I want to feel it was real and that it had importance, that the spirits found in the world aren't just dummies to give out cosmetics and emotes, I want to feel like they were people, ALIVE people. But the only thing I feel is... that this whole world is nothing but a playground. That it is all a make-belief. Yea, it looks like there something bad happened, but it feels as if it was done on purpose by some children playing to make it look like a tragedy when in reality it's just some broken sticks and stones, and dolls thrown around acting as spirits.

But instead of focusing on this, tgc would rather change the lighting and make the new ice texture ugly as fuck.
