Thinking about watching transformers… where do I start? (Love your art btw)

As far as Transformers go, the best one to start with for newcomers is actually the newest animated movie, Transformers One (found on Amazon, I think). It's an origin story movie and will get newcomers used to the decades' worth of lore this franchise has, haha.

TV shows you might wanna watch are:

Transformers Prime: (better for teens. Good for lore. One of the most highly praised in fandom. I think it's on Netflix, but pro tip: MOST of these shows can be found for FREE on Tubi)

Transformers Animated: (This show is an interesting concept. It deviates from the regular plot, but I quite enjoy it. Blitzwing is the best part of this show, haha. For younger audiences, but I loved it still, I wish it wasnt cancelled.)

Transformers G1: (The OG 80s cartoon. It's silly. It's classic. It's the basis for everything. It's mostly nostalgia and base grounds for funny references in other stuff)

Transformers Cyberverse: (A good, on-Cybertron show. A lot of shows take place on Earth, and I don't prefer it considering their own planet is goated)

Transformers War For Cybertron: (Again, another cybertron based show. It's darker. Good for teens and lore.)

Transformers Earthspark: (Cute. For younger kids, but I still liked it. It actually takes place Post War, which is interesting. Newer show. It's on Earth. I recommend only watching the 1st season, tho. The company switched by season two, and it gets... not good😭)

Transformers Rescue Bots: (This is just a cute watch. It's for younger kids. But it has a special place in my heart. Same universe as Transformers Prime strangely enough, haha)

Live action Movies you can watch are:

Bumblebee: (Oh, this one is so cute. You get an actually good mix of Cybertron stuff and Earth stuff. The human characters are actually likable, and the designs are faithful to their original G1 designs)

Rise Of The Beasts: (newest movie. Takes place after Bumblebee. This one is really good for lore. I love them using Mirage for a change. Again, humans are likeable.)

Bayverse: (...So, I guess you can watch this. They're controversial among the fsndom at best. It's important to note that these films did help bring important plot points to the fandom. However, they're not faithful to the source material. The robots mostly punch each other and are hardly characters outside of that. Female characters are like...😭 not good. You can tell Micheal Bay hated this franchise bahaha. Anyway, you can tell I don't like them. But there is some value in it for some people. If you just happen to like 3 straight hours of explosions and Optimus being super violent for some reason, and Starscream looking like a dorito, this is for you!)

i kinda want to read books again, i havent read any in .. more years than i know to remember but idk how to find anything i like, especially these days (i dont read fanfiction either .. , i tried a few times but it never really caught me q-q)

even when i was young i was somewhat picky (though there are plenty books im sure i finished but just .. dont remember) the last series i think i read was skullduggery pleasant (as i said, its been many years) but dropped it after it got a little 'weird' (in like .. i guess the shonen powerscaling problem, at least thats how it felt back then) and the annoying love interest boy that was seemingly only introduced so protag girl could do what normal girls do tm (i know theres many more books in the series so idk if hes actually more than that but eugh)

funnily enough i only seem to remember the books i loved so much i kept rereading them (the bartimäus trio, though i loved the forth prequel more than the others .. still sad i lost my copy of it in school) or the ones i stopped reading bc something completely threw me out of it-

there was one i literally only remember it was a protagonist (teen?) girl (is that a general common thing for the fantasy genre?) and she was travelling via a ship in that scene, idk if it was a flying one but something was different magical tm i think; and left it or ran away or so and sought shelter from the rain at some point and annoying boy caught up to her and they uuh .. started making out of nowhere?? (im sorry i literally only remember i felt rly uncomfortable and awkward, didnt like the boy, thought they had zero chemistry/felt forced AND i did NOT see it coming, like at all, maybe its my aro/ace/autism .. ness (that i wasnt aware of except being def different for most of my life, haha fun.) but i rememebr feeling like i got flashbanged by what i read, the only actual sentence i (think i) remember was "she felt the weight of his hips shifting onto hers" bc it weirded me out so much and i might just have stopped reading it at that point and never looked back lmao)

another one was one with a setting of having dragons and they were used like horses, also feathered! (though the cover picture, i think, was a big dragon eye surrounded by scales, pretty sure it annoyed me constantly but i might missremember, again its been so long and i went through things my brain wishes it could unlive) and the protagonist worked at a stable or soemthing (also girl? idk), last thing i remember was that all dragons started to go mad and kill themselves .. idk if i read any further

(honorable mention to uuh .. dämonenzeit (demon time), was a demon protagonist and it was a little brutal for my taste but when do you get a demon as the main guy, apparently there were two entries and i only read the first one, also lost that copy- Xarors (an OC of mine) first designs were based on the cover of that book and the thing the band 'disturbed' tended to use (the hooded guy with red glowing eyes) i was very original)

maybe all those were super well known ones and i just never knew (grew up without/extremely limited internet and tech in general after all.... the only one i knew was popular and also read all of it and had all parts .. was a certain bad wizard series that should not still be so popular *watches in horror as my niece gets into it and wants nothing but merch for it*) or really bad peepoo baby books, im possibly confusing or mixing some things bc i read quite a few ones with dragons and similar themes, but thats just what i remember/remember feeling like

what do you think about the fan HC idea of Kismet being Branch's Foster Siblings from when he was a kid?

some fans came up with the idea of Kismet having been like Branch's foster siblings following Grandma's death and while I've always thought it wouldn't mesh well with his established backstory.

thinking about it more it could potentially work like I know its not super likely to be made cannon but bare with me lol it could be the first few years following the escape when he was too young to venture on his own Branch was in a home with other displaced kids thanks to Trollstice hence how he met the kismet members.

however maybe when they started their little bad obviously Branch wouldn't join at that point in his life and after a few years when he was a teenager and could live by himself that's when he went to build the bunker by himself in the woods.

and kismet kinda had to give him space eventually given how reclusive he became like when he was in the home he wasn't super social but he deffo got worse over the years I'd imagine. so they went off from the village touring and after the first movie Branch reconnected with them and finally agreed to join the band albeit on the downlow so Poppy didn't know.

so this way he'd have met them as children like a lot of fans wanted but it won't contradict his backstory of refusing to sing back then

and technically it wouldn't contradict Branch's words to his bros in TBT given it could very well still be the case that the kids weren't looked after properly and were mostly left to their own devices given most Pop Trolls just want to have fun.

idk its convoluted for sure lol but personally I like the fan HC of Kismet being like Branch's surrogate Bros and the idea of Branch having been through the Trolls equivalent of the care system gaining hardened overprotective foster siblings that his bio brothers would eventually meet I feel is super cute and interesting to think about.

like imagine an episode of a third tv show that was just foster siblings Kismet visiting Branch but for the first time ever Brozone is there as well and things are very awkward between the two sets of siblings.

with Kismet making passive aggressive Remarks at Bro zone every chance they get and asking Branch about his special interests being smug and Rubbing it in B zone's face how much better they know Branch than they do. tho ironically when it comes to actually listenening to Branch talk about his interests or actually doing them with him both sets of siblings are equally bored out of their minds but try to hide it in front of Branch 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 and threatening to beat Bro zone up if they ever hurt Branch's feelings again.

while pretending to be polite and get along in front of Branch but in the end Branch does Realise the Tension that's been going on between them.

and it turns out Kismet were actually worried that they may be pushed out of their Dorky anti social little foster Bros life now that his "" real family "" have finally come back.

and maybe Bro zone are actually the ones to Reassure them that they don't want that given they appreciate that Branch clearly cares about them a lot.

and the two sets of siblings do call a truce for Branch's sake.

eh I know its not super likely but well they already added 4 never before mentioned siblings into the mix and Branch still has a lot of Grey area in his backstory.

all I'm saying is Branch having overprotective foster siblings is adorable as hell imo and it could technically work in cannon so why not? haha 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

besides Dreamworks ya could do with giving him some posotive additions to his backstory for a change as opposed to just more sad angst.

So although it’s semi up to date, I figured it was due for a redo! I’m 18f, looking for partners 16+. These are fandoms the I’m currently interested in roleplaying from, and my preferred muses to write;

Lockwood and Co. -> Lucy Carlyle or Anthony Lockwood, though I may possibly be able to write George Karim in addition to either of the first two. This would be based off a mix of the show and the books, as I am reading through the books now and have watched the series multiple times haha pls I love my babies pls pls I need to write them <3

The Promised Neverland -> Emma or Ray preferably, though I could write Norman. Again I wouldn’t mind writing a couple of them, but I’m definitely more comfy writing Emma or Ray! I’m interested on post canon stuff, but am happy to do anything like more details/scenarios on their survival after the initial escape, etc.

Miraculous -> Okay I’m not caught up at ALL with miraculous, but I will absolutely always love some lukanette, they are my babiesssss. I will happily write as either luka or marinette! I also wouldn't mind some of marichat/adrienette/ladynoir, I would write for marinette :)

Stardew Valley -> I'm open to OCs for this, but would still love to do some canon character stuff as well! I feel most comfy playing Haley, Abigail, and Sebastian. Maybe Emily or Sam, I love them but know less about them. I can also do a farmer if you'd want to play a canon/oc against that.

I often match my partner’s length but prefer at least a few paragraphs, however I do normally to aim for around/over the discord word limit when I can! If I’m in the zone, then possibly over the limit a couple of times. This can obviously fluctuate based on what’s currently happening in the roleplay, or motivation levels irl, but I am not fussed if length varies; as long as its at least a couples paragraphs and is enough information/detail to work with! We’re all human, and motivation sucks ass— especially for writing.

I do strongly prefer CCxCC!! If we are playing canon characters and there are OCs involved, I’d rather them not be the focal point of the roleplay—or at least not at first. However, I would be ok doing an OCxOC! If we do OCxOC it can be fandom/fandomless. I’m down to discuss it. Just please don't be super overpowered, cliche, etc. AUs for anything are also very much a yes!

I love love talking out of character, sharing random things from our day or ranting about the fandom/characters! I have ADHD and do tend to hyperfixate on certain characters/shows very intensely haha. My current hyperfixations will be listed in my bio, but that doesn’t mean I’m not willing to rp other fandoms listed in this post! So don’t be afraid to ask.

I will pretty much only roleplay on discord, though if you insist, I could probably attempt doing it on here again, my motivation just may take a hit. Ahhhhh thank you for showing me step by step how you created Jetfire’s wings. You’re so nice :) I saw your completed TC model on mechncheese’s post and it is SOOOOOO lovely! It has a painterly look to it and it’s so pretty to look at. Did you export his model into a digital art software (like Krita, Procreate), paint him, then export him back into blender thru UV unwrapping?

so no actual texturing was done with his model, it's all material nodes!

im unsure if you're referring to how the cloaked tc model (which i sent in before but you could be talking about the non-ask post they made with the model so Hmm) has grime is or just his general cel shading, so ill cover both here :)

here's his cloaked version's cloak and the nodes for it!! it uses the same shading style as the rest of his normal model so it'll kill two birds with one stone

to break it down:

this is the base material! for the basic cel shading effect ive separated the material into HSV and hooked the Value up to a color ramp set to constant so it darkens/lightens in steps rather than gradually :) the hue and saturation are kept the same as the base shader so the material remains affected by the lighting

if you want this alone for the material, you'd just hook the color value from that last Combine Value up to Surface on the material output

next up! the Grime

the grime gets its own material and goes through the same process as the base cel shading does (in the box at the bottom)! on its own it does not layer with the base material, so there's noise set up to help make cutouts of the grime material onto the base material in the following Mix node :) i have the noise stepped like the cel shading as well so it has a sort of layered effect to it

the grime's Noise Color Ramp Color value goes into the Factor, the Grime Cel Shading goes into B, and the Base Material goes into A!! this will be the first layer that goes into the next Mix node later :)

next up are the little energon splatters on his cloak, which is set up similarly to the grime :)

the only difference is that the color ramps are a little different and ive got the noise texture set to 4D LOL

then i make another Mix Node to mix it with the first Mix Node and make the second layer over the other materials

the Result of the Grime+Base Material Mix Node goes into A this time while the Blood Cel Shading goes into B!! with the factor being attached to the Blood Noise :)

then you connect that into the Material Output and bam!!!!!! funky textured cloak (seen at the top of this post)

this may have been more than you asked for but id already written a solid portion of the post before i realized you might really only be asking about the cel shading HAHA sorry if that's the case

OH fun fact when i started messing with the materials i wanted to make something that looked sort of like Risk of Rain 2's shading style because i really like how that game looks visually :)

starting to ramble a bit but there actually is a plugin that allows you to hook up krita directly to blender (im pretty sure) so you can edit textures live!! so if you want to manually texture a model yourself that's probably super convenient to have, i recommend looking into it if that's something that interests you

Good ending: Enco is Haru, Wuhexi is Akechi and Changweiaizhu is Sumire.

*Of course im joking, a mix between Haru and Akechi could actually be interesting plot wise, and making him be different enough character wise despite being both two brown haired bishonens. Plus having the 'traditor' being a rich guy while Akechi was at the bottom of japanese society before being a celeb would make the two interacting pretty interesting. The real probelm its that Enco and Wonder give me 0 yaoi vibes 😔😔😔😔 /J again lmao

These are both intriguing theories, though! I agree that Enco being a mix of Haru and Akechi could be super interesting, especially given the main connection between Haru and Akechi is that Akechi killed Haru's dad, haha. But it'd also, of course, be more fun to have a larger amount of story teammates, rather than fewer. I suppose these theories are assuming that Polter's the Futaba (as opposed to a Futaba and Haru combo, or even some other combination)?

Also, let's be fair- right now it's probably hard to imagine much in the way of interactions between Enco and Wonder (or Enco and anyone else, for that matter) because we still barely know anything about him! Maybe they'll have more "yaoi vibes" to you once the guy's had at least one line or something, haha.

That aside, Chengweiaizhu as Sumire would be super fun, I'd love to see that! Story teammate Wuhexi would also be great.

WAIT i was the vacation dream kanoshin anon but i just remembered an actual one i thought of myself not my subconcious but i somehow forgot about it-

in my delusions a route similar to the novel route is what gives us str (not mekakucity actors shh- canon isn't real if it's from mca), meaning Kano has his weird ass traumadumping session with ene and whatnot and ends up having to spill the beans to the rest of the dan INCLUDING shintaro not just shintaro casually vanishing-

anyways so this ends up with the same vibe as novel-route kano and shintaro which is like. i mean. kano literally describes shintaro as looking at him the same way he looked at ayano and that kano "can't win against him" like. 🤨

Yada yada everything w/ clearing eyes, similar fight to mca ish ( i like the idea of marry draining her friends of their life to save their lives it's interesting to me-) and wahoo ayano. hi. she exists now (with ofc haruka and hiyori too-) and obviously everyone's like HOLY SHIT. especially the mekutrio. and ESPECIALLY kano.

Like I imagine Kano has a much harder time wrapping his head around the fact Ayano's back since while the other two just saw her death as suicide, he knew what caused it / all the clearing eyes stuff so he couldn't really accept her death and move on, while the others (obviously heartbroken over it though) were able to accept it and grow, yea?

Well we get those feelings of "holy shit my sister is alive" but also mixed with these feelings of "oh fuck. i (very unfortunately) might have a thing for my sister's crush." and IMMEDITELY backs the fuck off from both of them. He doesn't ignore ayano obviously but he doesn't seek her out, and he just actively avoids shintaro. ayano's concerned but meanwhile shintaro's just kinda like. what the fuck did i do to you???

Anyways dunno how that gets resolved i never thought past just the idea that kano can barely handle these two facts alone (ayano is alive now and he might maybe like shintaro a little bit (ew)) but together? Who do you think about most? These days, it's about thinking of what to do and what new things to explore and experience once my resignation officially takes effect. I plan on spending April doing a hard reset and kind of just taking a trip here and there to rediscover myself and get myself ready for my new chapter.

I'm also thinking of what new jobs to apply for, of course.

Do you have embarrasing parents? No. My mom can be embarrassing when she occasionally turns into a Karen but otherwise at 25, embarrassing is a word I hardly use for my parents anymore lol.

Sit Down, Shut Up X Digimon AU

I'M BACK WITH ANOTHER DIGIMON AU!

Honestly, the 'I am going to create an crossover that is so doesn't make sense' image sums this up nicely regarding niche special interests and hyperfixations.

Either way, for those of you who aren't aware, Sit Down, Shut Up is a 2009 animated sitcom created by Mitchell Hurwitz, the creator of Arrested Development. While it is generally thought of being either a 'you love it or you hate it' show, it has a special place in my heart and despite its raunchy/lewd humor, I find it strangely comforting to watch.

And because I've been getting back into both Digimon and Sit Down, Shut Up as of late, it is only natural that my brain has the 'genius' idea of combining the two. It started with the innocuous question of 'What would the cast be if they were Digimon?' which is something I've asked for multiple other fandoms as well, such as Pepper Ann, Braceface, and Fillmore! to name a few.

I don't have much of a plot super specific to the show in a Digimon setting, but I do have an overall plot which I tend to use in most of my Digimon x (show) AUs involving the 'Digital World' being a near copy of the human/real world, with monsters having jobs, children, school, that sort of thing. All without knowing they're living in a simulation. The characters eventually find out they DO live in a simulation by another race foreign to them (humans), and find themselves having to go to the 'real world', where they find themselves facing a brand new threat, the Seven Great Demon Lords; seven powerful creatures, each representing some type of vice, who were created by the humans to purge the simulation and start over.

But some of them have their own interests in mind…

That's the usual scenario I use when 'brainstorming' (haha daydreaming) but with Sit Down, Shut Up I could go for less of the adult 'raunchy humor' everywhere, and instead incorporate more of an intense/edgy feel more geared towards adults with some added adult humor, rather than the moreso 'for kids' I would do for say, a Fillmore! or Pepper Ann Digimon AU.

Because it's eight champion-level (unless stated) adult Digimon who work in a digi-school and can barely tolerate one another, with some tolerated less than others. Then, everything they've known to be true is revealed to be a lie and they're forced to team up with those same people and kinda try to maybe understand them?

Now, I could see petty drama and 'canon-typical behavior/adult humor' at first being the norm, (kind of like how the sitcom only got thirteen episodes, which is usually when a Digimon season is still lighthearted. Unless you're Ghost Games that is. RIP Bokomon) but then getting Knight Of Cerberus'd and becoming significantly darker. Kind of like what Bojack pulled off, with the perfect mix of adult humor and a meaningful message.

You're probably wondering by now, what did my brain answer when asked that fateful question? Well, here's the Digimon I decided would fit and their lines! Rookie/Child forms are just here for reference, all are at Champion/Adult level unless otherwise stated.

Larry: Lopmon - Turuiemon - Antylamon (Deva) - Cherubmon (Virtue) (Can also become Vice if shit hits the fan)

Miracle: Terriermon - Gargomon - Rapidmon - MegaGargomon (May change Rapidmon and MegaGargomon if I find suitable mons)

Ennis: Elecmon (Violet) - Leomon - GrapLeomon - BanchoLeomon (Ennis is normally a GrapLeomon because I thought it would be fitting to have him at such a high level due to how 'great' he thinks he is and how he'd be himbo material if he wasn't so… Ennis)

Stuart: Guilmon - Growlmon - WarGrowlmon - Gallantmon/Megidramon (I thought Guilmon's/Growlmon's naivety was a nice fit for Stuart, along with the fact that they can and will fuck you up, e.g. Megidramon as an alternate digivolution)

Helen: Tsukaimon - Saberdramon - LadyDevimon - Star Beelmon

Andrew: Kotemon - Dinohyumon - Kyukimon - SlashAngemon

Willard: Piximon. Nobody knows much of his past, and frankly, they don't really care.

Sue: Haven't actually decided yet LMFAO.

🗣️Talk about your favourite WIP

i am so excited to talk about this FSHLFSG so i always find multi-chaptered fics super intimidating and i have this thing planned out from start to finish and written about 20k words for it but im too scared to post it unless im at least halfway done bc i dont want to risk abandoning it 〒▽〒

i dont even know if anyone in this fandom knows about these books, its a beyblade x all for the game crossover, you dont need to know anything about aftg, its just the setting but then with the mfb characters and beyblade instead of exy. kyoya is neil (obviously, its me duh) and on the run from his dad and gets recruited for the metal state spirits, a pretty decent college beyblade team. it has its two star players gingka (kind of a mix of kevin/matt) and ryuga (andrew; yup this is ryukyo) who convince kyoya to accept the offer despite him knowing it will put him at risk.

so theyre all in college, and the spirits are gingka as the team captain, then ryuga, kenta, hikaru, benkei, yu and kyoya. ryo is the coach. hyoma the team's physician. hokuto is their psychiatrist lmao.

i dont want to reveal everything yet bc there is some mystery there especially if you dont know the books (and even if you do cos i did make a lot of changes to the original plot); but ill put a short scene at the bottom under the cut if that interests anyone

👻Is there a scene that you find intimidating that you have yet to write?

tbh anything that is very introspective is intimidating to me and i am in particular talking about the dark trio and the dark power right now because thats a thing i promised and desperately wanted to do for mayblade but i am struggling so hard with how exactly to go about this. i have a whole word document dedicated to how the dark power affected each one of the dark trio but the how and why of the conversation(s) they would have about that completely eludes me at the moment bc i need it to be at least kind of in character and it has so many references in canon which is exhausting and intimidating both. i am honestly just writing all the other prompts i still have for mayblade first and probably will be leaving this one for last or until i have a sudden flash of inspiration. you never know.

the worst thing about this is that i have several ideas for several short fics talking about the dark power and the dark trio or just tsubasa or just hikaru (kyoya just wasnt as affected lol) but obv still have the same problem for these. i am so fascinated by what you could do with these kids and their trauma i just wish i knew how to go about it haha ha... ughhh

okay heres the snippet for the aftg crossover:

Kyoya only realizes his mistake once it's already too late. He's too engrossed in teaching Gingka a lesson that he doesn't notice another person appear behind Gingka until they grab his T-shirt and violently yank him around. Kyoya’s back slams against the row of lockers next to the door to the locker room. Ryo angrily shouts, "Ryuga!" but gets no response.

Internally, Kyoya sighs in exasperation. Gingka Hagane and Ryuga Himoto. He is in a room with the two people he has vowed to keep as far away from as possible. In his mind he sends a quick prayer heavenward and apologizes to his mother for all the stupid decisions that have brought him into this situation.

Ryuga fixes him with an unreadable stare of golden eyes. His hands are still clutching Kyoya's shirt, but he looks composed, almost bored. Kyoya returns his gaze with hostility, but knows he wouldn't win a fight against Ryuga because he is taller and in a decidedly more advantageous position than Kyoya.

However, when nothing happens after a few moments, he realizes that this is just Ryuga's intimidation tactic and forcefully tears himself away, taking a few steps back from Ryuga.

He looks at Ryo, whose attention is on Ryuga, a disapproving twist at the corners of his mouth. "Is that your usual tactic for recruiting new bladers?" Ryo turns his attention back to Kyoya. "Because the tactic sucks."

Gingka laughs briefly and Ryo sighs, running a hand over his face, exhausted. "No," he says, rolling his eyes. "It's not our normal tactic. But we usually don't have such a hard time convincing new bladers to join us."

"That surprises me," Kyoya replies dryly which elicits a resigned smile from Ryo.

Sora: HaHa~ HiHi~ HuHu~!

There are a lot of things backstage, so it’s exciting to just look at it all~♪

Makoto: It’s dangerous for you to move around so much like that, Harukawa-kun.

There are all sorts of filming equipment here, so its position might be shifted even if you move it just a little. It might be good to stay still for a bit.

Sora: Ah, Sora suddenly felt super excited!

Sora didn’t expect to be called backstage for a “Valkyrie” concert. It’s different from “Switch” and really interesting~♪

Makoto: Ahaha. I also doubted my ears when I first heard that the theme of their performance was a cross between digital technology and art.

The game company person apologised for the whole “Test World” incident.

And those two ended up asking them to provide projected images for the performance. It feels like a pretty strange coincidence.

Sora: But thanks to that, we got to experience the latest technology, so it’s a win-win situation for us!

We were able to borrow and use expensive equipment that we normally wouldn’t be able to. Sora is looking forward to seeing how the performance will turn out~♪

Mika: Ngh. Oh, Sora-kun and Mako-kun. So this is where you two were. I thought you’d have gone back to your reserved seats.

Thanks for bringin’ in the equipment too. The staff also really appreciated it.

Sora: No worries. Sora also caused some trouble for Mika-chan-san. So Sora supposes it’s to make up for that~?

It helped get rid of Mika-chan-san’s slump halfway, but everything was a mess at the very end.

Makoto: It really was an extraordinary raid boss fight~

It was pretty fun but it still means that Kagehira-kun’s hard work was left unsettled. Helping out is the least I could do.

…Or so I say but as an equipment geek, I can’t lie and say I wasn’t completely uninterested in a concert that uses the latest technology. Sorry for mixing my private hobbies into my work.

Mika: It’s alright, I don’t mind at all. It’s just the two of us so we’d really appreciate the help.

Besides, I got to learn a lotta stuff about digital things from the “Test World”. I’m glad I got to experience both the pros and cons of it ♪

Sora: HeHe~ Then Sora is glad!

Sora sees you’ve already changed into your performance outfit and you’re raring to go, Mika-chan-san~♪

Mika: Yeah. Oshi-san did a full maintenance on me, so I’m all good in that aspect.

If anythin’, I’m more worried ‘bout the equipment. We suffered greatly ‘cause of an incident with our equipment before… Oshi-san hasn’t said anythin’, but it seems he’s worried ‘bout it.

I figured I could do a final check since I finished gettin’ ready first. There’s no harm in over-checkin’ things, right?

Makoto: Yeah. It’ll be a huge issue if you become too immersed in the new thing before us and forget to think about the risks.

…Well, it feels a bit weird to say that since “Trickstar” won’t be satisfied unless we always do something new.

Sora: Rest assured! “Switch” is also passionate about that sort of thing!

As long as Sora and Yuuki-sensei are here, we should be able to prevent any equipment issues~☆

Mika: Ahaha. Yeah, you’re super reliable, you two.

All jokes aside, I really appreciate the help. It’s all thanks to people like you guys that “Valkyrie” can further pursue our own art.

I’d be happy if you’d stay for the whole concert ♪

Shuu: Kagehira. It’s almost time. You should keep that nervousness with you.

“Machina” is a new performance that makes use of our experience in the VR world.

The performance effects will be projected onto several monitors, so it’s a performance where a lot more things will need to be controlled as opposed to usual.

Mika: Ahaha. I’ll make sure to do a proper job, so don’t worry, Oshi-san.

Shuu: Hmph. If you’re fine enough to say something lighthearted like that, then you’ll have the carpet pulled from underneath you.

Well, I’ll place my trust in your independence today. You’re no longer someone who chases after me endlessly, after all.

Independence and responsibility go hand in hand – You need to work even harder than usual.

Mika: Ngh~... Oshi-san, you’re still sayin’ the same things to me.

Well, I guess that makes it easier for me too. I can hold my head up high when I see Oshi-san’s eyes sparklin’.

his hair is a super stunning mix of black and silver, sometimes he has a thin layer of stubble, other times he has a little beard that outlines his jawline, sometimes hes clean shaven, and he has a gold chain and his eyes have really adorable crinkles, especially when he smiles and he has really cute dimples!

im not sure, maybe my name?

hes married with three kids and im very much single

nerdy type but hes a little athletic too!

A Cherished Time in Singapore

Two months ago, after finishing a one-week trip to my hometown in Quảng Ngãi Province to visit my Dad, I also considered visiting Dad Mohan in Singapore during the first week of August leading up to the National Day on August 9, 2024. This was a short but welcomed break after my two-month teaching summer course at school. Fortunately, dad did not have many plans during that time, so I was able to stay with him and Aunt Edna. This was to be my second visit to Singapore. The first was to attend and to take enormous pleasure in sister Sara and Hugh’s beautiful wedding last year. 

As always, dad is a superbly thoughtful person. Thanks to his enthusiastic support during my stay in Singapore, I had an amazing time learning new things and expanding my horizons on topics I had never experienced before.

I must admit that I’m slow at getting things done, which has led me to develop the habit of staying up late. While everyone in the house was asleep, I would still be awake until almost 2 a.m. I was a bit worried that I wouldn’t be able to get up early in the morning, and, as expected, I really could not. I ended up sleeping until almost 10 a.m. every day. However, dad just told me to rest well since it was my holiday, and there was no need to rush. I felt truly relieved, as he was just like my mom. She knows I have to wake up early every weekday to go to work, so she always lets me sleep as much as I can on weekends.

During my stay, Dad Mohan and Aunt Edna accompanied me to lots of intriguing places, like Universal Studios Singapore, East Coast Beach, Pasir Ris Park, Jewel Mall, and more, which filled me with joy and excitement. Each destination offered a unique experience. At Universal Studios, I loved the thrilling rides (if the queue wasn’t too long, I felt like I could ride them again and again). I also loved seeing adorable minions everywhere, as though I was lost in the Minion World. The serene beauty of East Coast Beach provided a peaceful contrast however. At Pasir Ris Park, I delighted in the lush greenery and had fun encounters with several adorable animals, like turtles (it was the first time I saw so many turtles swimming!), fast-running squirrels, otters and even an enormous monitor lizard swimming by—it was super large, and I felt both excited and a little scared! 

Jewel Mall has always dazzled me with its stunning architecture and indoor waterfall; no matter how many times I visit, I’m still truly impressed by its design. Visiting Little India and Arab Street was an exciting and vibrant experience. I felt as if I were in India for real, haha. The rich colors, aromatic spices, and bustling markets in Little India left me with a sense of wonder and excitement. Arab Street's mix of modern and traditional elements, along with its stunning street art and architecture, left me inspired and energized. I also revisited Fort Canning Park to finally see the tree tunnel, which was under construction during the first visitl. These outings were not just fun but also incredibly enriching, as I learned so much about Singapore’s culture, nature, and innovation. At each place, dad always shared many stories about his experiences there with his kids, along with interesting information about those places. Listening to him, I was exceedingly impressed by his keen knowledge. On top of that, I noticed that whenever he shared something, he tended to include historical evidence and examples to back up what he was saying. That’s truly something admirable and worth learning from.

Apart from visiting Singapore this time for leisure, I was especially privileged to have the opportunity to visit Julia Gabriel Learning Center in bustling Orchard Road, where David used to attend his drama course. The appointment provided me with an invaluable chance to enrich my teaching practice as well as to expand my horizons with new perspectives and methodologies that I am eager to implement. Additionally, my circle of friends has grown as I made a new friend, Huda, there. Even though we have just met, she has been very kind to me.

During this visit, I also tried a wide variety of delicious foods. Of all the dishes, I was most impressed by the Indian cuisine, at Banana Leaf Apolo along Race Course Road, with its strong and spicy flavors that I quite liked. Another delightful discovery was my newfound love for raw white radish, thanks to Emily. She prepared a truly delicious dinner with it, paired with some fried fish. Although I’ve eaten white radish many times before, this was the first time I had it raw—it was fresh and cool, and I found it surprisingly enjoyable. I also had the chance to try some Malay and Chinese cuisine, and I liked them all; they were all quite delicious. When Huda and I met for lunch at Penang Culture, she invited me to try some Malay dishes, including assam laksa (the only name I remember from the meal because I felt like I could eat more than two bowls of it, haha) and several other flavorful dishes. Additionally, I enjoyed the ribs soup that Aunt Edna made for dinner—it was incredibly delicious and packed with nutrients. On top of that, the beverages that dad mixed for me—whiskey with soda and Tanqueray with tonic —were perfectly suited to my taste.

Thank you, Dad Mohan, for taking me to so many wonderful places during my visit. Whether it was patiently waiting for me to finish my appointments or making sure I was well-fed with delicious meals, your care and attention made every moment special. I’m grateful for the new things you taught me, from sharing your knowledge about the fascinating places we visited to guiding me through my workouts at the gym. I also can’t forget the thoughtful gift you brought me from Japan—a box of Snoopy assorted sweets, which were super adorable and mouthwatering. For all these things and more, thank you for letting me enjoy my stay to the fullest.

I also want to express my deepest gratitude to Aunt Edna for taking such wonderful care of me throughout my visit. Her companionship was invaluable; she was with me every step of the way, making sure I felt comfortable and at home. I quite enjoyed traveling by MRT, as it is fast and convenient, and with aunt’s help, I’ve become more confident in navigating it on my own. She also has a real talent for photography, capturing exactly the angles I described to her and taking lots of beautiful photos of me. Beyond that, aunt is an excellent cook, always preparing delicious meals. Her attentiveness and skills made my stay in Singapore even more memorable, and I’m truly grateful for everything she did for me.

Overall, my visit to Singapore once again, was a deeply fulfilling experience. Being in the company of such thoughtful and generous people made me feel cherished and supported every step of the way. It was a journey that enriched my mind with new perspectives and left me with lasting memories. The entire experience left me feeling exhilarated and grateful for the opportunity to explore and discover new things.

LOL Do you think Zeno (or G.O.D.) can destroy the "SCP-682 invulnerable reptile"?

I admit this is a really cool question, I have not heard SCP foundation until now so I did some reading about it. I mostly defined "destroy" in the question as eliminating existence as that is primarily the G.O.Ds (within their assigned universe) and Zeno's function (overseeing the multiverse and uses destruction as he sees fit). What I found about SCP-682, the reptile can be wounded e.g corrosive acid but very difficult, dare to say impossible to eliminate or get rid of it, even a hakai will not be sufficient. SCP-682 will come back. Whenever there is a reality, SCP-682 will return to life and continue to kill beings, powerful than before thanks to its regenerating body. Essentially he is immortal.

I do not think that any G.O.D could completely eliminate SCP-682's existence, even if all twelve G.O.Ds combined their hakais together, SCP-682 will come back eventually. The answer is no for the G.O.Ds unable to eliminate SCP-682. But it is not complete loss in terms of the G.O.D can use hakai to get rid SCP-682 temporarily, how long, I have no idea but it would be for short term. Either it's become a routine for the G.O.D or until SCP-682 gains an immunity against hakai which in that case, containment it is. It would be funny to see Beerus tries to trap SCP-682 in something like an object like how he trapped Old Kai in the Z sword for over 75 million years. It's interesting to note that SCP-682 is immune to reality warping, nice. As for Zeno, could he do the job of eliminating SCP-682?

I can imagine Zeno's power of his own destruction is much powerful than an individual G.O.D, even the combined twelve of them, could snap his fingers to eliminate the 12 universes. So Zeno is a pretty powerful deity to deal with, that the G.O.Ds fears him as Zeno is their boss/superior. My answer is more mixed but leaning to maybe not. More depending on the author and what they do with this. I could see Zeno with his personalised power being able to eliminate SCP-682 and killing everything SCP-682 have, including his body and his ability of immortality, completely taken away. I believe though this is more implied hence I leaned saying maybe not due to there is a reality for SCP-682 to return to. If SCP-682 did come back even after Zeno eliminated him, due to Zeno's curious nature, Zeno would not try to kill SCP-682 but observe or get involved with SCP-682 in other ways, since SCP-682 would be the first creature to come back without the aid of Super Dragon Balls. I had two questions in mind. Zeno-sama could eliminate all of the universes which his future counterpart, Future Zeno did that during the "Future" Trunks Saga/Goku Black Arc and he was the only deity being there in the void, no life forms there. The question is can SCP-682 comes back to the world there is no reality but the void? Would Zeno have to eliminate all of the universes and life forms to neutralise SCP-682?

Perhaps, the void itself can be even considered a reality SCP-682 comes back to but with no life forms, I can imagine it's not very enjoyable haha. To conclude, the G.O.Ds cannot eliminate SCP-682, but Zeno could potentially, it's depends if SCP-682's immortality is removed or not or could SCP-682 can come to the void.
