#it's cruel#not cute#if it was an occasional genetic deformity and people were giving them their best life anyway#that would be fine#but humans are making them like this ON PURPOSE#these cats will never be able to run and jump and climb with the freedom a cat should have#and that's so freaking sad#STOP VANITY BREEDING OF ALL ANIMALS#you look me in the eyes and tell me#if you gave these cats a character creator#where they get to pick the body they'll live in#that they'll CHOSE the short legs#go ahead#lemme hear that you'd choose the short legs#and all the mobility problems and joint pain that would cause#there is just NO REASON to breed these cats when there are plenty PLENTY of healthy breed to choose from#PLEASE don't support munchkin breeders#or any other breeder of unhealthy vanity breeds#this is not a hot-take or a moral opinion#if humans are purposefully breeding and animal to be less healthy and functional#just to serve OUR WANTS#that is objectively selfish and cruel
