the amount of times wendy has thrown hands would shock the other dragon slayers if they werent there for most of them. someone tries to drag natsu for all the property damage he does? shes tripping them very plainly with wind. someone’s harassing laxus? she will literally punch/kick them in the tits/dick and is only embarrassed that sometimes she has to jump to punch the tits. someone says something about magnets when talking to gajeel? well it looks like the wind is trying to stick you to that brick wall with a magnet. someone tries to pull rogue’s sleeves up? shell pants them. someone touches sting’s arm in a very not friendly way? goodbye kneecaps. someone yells at erik? face meet floor.

lamia scale, sabertooth, and a good handful of fairy tail are in shock whenever they witness her protect her brothers. or her friends. or a random stranger three streets over.

she wont fight people who mess with her though bc she doesnt think shes strong enough to. literally everyone looks at her like shes insane after they ruin whoever was being a dick to her

I don't want to romance Tervantias, I want there to be an option to flirt with him and for him to react in probable disgust or annoyance, but also for there to be a nice long scene of him dissecting the rogue trader and turning them into some kind of fucked up thing if you continue to try and pursue him like the sick beast I am. Obviously it would be a game-end scenario but I would DO IT. EVERY TIME.

Hi ! I have question, not too sensitive I hope...since this is a very pro Aegon III blog, could you explain to me why you love him so much ?

I've always struggled to love/understand the character, like yes, he seems nice overall, he's pretty and quiet (though the beautiful melancholic ones have never done it for me *looking at you Rhaegar*), he went through lots of trauma, and his relationship with Daenaera is cute, but nevertheless i've always found Viserys II and even Jace more pleasant and competent.

Like what i love about the most about Aegon III is that he's the son of Rhaenyra and Daemon, but that's not exactly a personality trait (well, it could be considering his parents, but you know what i mean).

Maybe there's something I'm missing about him (or maybe I'm just not receptive to this kind of character), so could you pretty please explain to me what is so great about him so that I might hopefully start to enjoy him as much as you do ? :)

I would like to start by saying that I don't really see the point in trying to convince anyone to like X or Y character. I certainly hope that people have enough of their own opinion to go by that and not by what someone else thinks or what by others like.

What is the problem of you not linking Aegon III?

I personally see none. I would also argue that you don't have to like Aegon III just because he was Daemon and Rhaenyra's son. For instance I like Corlys and Rhaenys yet their children are as bland as oatmeal and have 0 personality. I won't like them only because of who their parents are, much less make up traits and a personality George couldn't be bothered to give them.

We don't have to like every character. I myself have many that do nothing for me - many from Daemon and Rhaenyra's line - and that I struggle to understand what others might like about them. We are all different and to each their own. I am a firm believer that as long as we stay in our lanes, don't make sh:t up to try and prove a point (headcanons are not the same as canon), and don't harass anyone over their tastes, we don't owe anyone an explanation about why we like or don't like a character.

Now, as to why I like Aegon III, and what I think is so great about him, I believe canon explains itself much better than my own simple words could. I could transcribe everything written, however, since my time is limited and it has been over a month since my last update, I will give you three quotes, spoken by Aegon III himself that not only prove that he was very much Daemon and Rhaenyra's son, but also his own person, one with empathy, and with a little bit of light and fire left to him, even after all the darkness he endured. That an a tiny scene that people sleep on ;) this was a boy every inch worthy of being named after Aegon the Conqueror.

Just as a small note, none of this is to make you like him, it is intended to answer the question of what makes me like him and I think these quotes and the small moment speak for themselves. Alas, I am biased.

"I shall," King Aegon said. "You are sitting in my chair." (Fire and Blood, pg. 704)

"There will be no progress," the king declared, as he was seated. "I will not spend a year upon a horse, sleeping in strange beds and trading empty courtesies with drunken lords, half of whom would gladly see me dead if it gained them a groat. If any man requires word with me, he will find me on the Iron Throne." (Fire and Blood, pg. 704)

"I mean to give the smallfolk peace and food and justice. If that will not suffice to win their love, let Mushroom make a progress. Or perhaps we might send a dancing bear. you two already kinda acted like you were dating anyway

youd hold hands in crowded and isolated places. whether it be bc of people or shadows didnt matter

youd go to cafés a lot. rogue liked sweet coffee and even if you didnt like coffee at all hed make sure there was teas or lemonades or somethin for you to have

youd talk about your early lives, some funny stories, what wouldve happened if you two had different magic, what the ramifications of the etherion blast would have on the environment, etc.

whenever one of you was overwhelmed the other would drag them away. sometimes there would be an excuse. most of the time there wouldnt be

it was probably after a late night walk through the town that you confessed

hedve been confused at first. then hed think youre playing a joke on him. then hed think youre angry at him about something and thought this was the way to get his attention

youd have to peck his lips to get his little mumbling to cease

and then hed be gone. not mentally or emotionally. physically. bc he melted into the shadows and is probably either in his apartment or the guild, wherever sting was. and sting was probably laughing his ass off at the clearly very flustered shadow dragon slayer who was probably panicking about abandoning you

the thought would make you laugh. rogue would ooze out of the shadows a bit away from you and youd barely see through squinted eyes

hed apologize, of course. both for his accusations and for his reaction. youd say that it was fine. expected, even. hilarious and cute, as usual.

youd have to drag him out of the shadows again before he abandoned you again for that comment

after that, hed be shy. embarrassed, even, whenever you kissed him or held his hand or embraced him. alone or in public

itd take him months to get used to it all

and itd be when hestheyre holding you in bed, rubbing your back or your arm or something to help you go back to sleep. itd be when your breathing levels out and your heartbeat calms. and thats when hed confess. aloud. for the first time.

youd done that enough times that you figured he was just going to mumble praises about you again. but those words tipped you just enough into a more comfortable state that you didnt hear anything else and fell asleep

Douma kidnapped Andou’s dad didn’t he?

Short answer: Yes.

Andou's dad spent the last few years of his life as a caged bird of sorts that Douma kept around. His body was never found by other Demon Slayers, which made everyone think that there wasn't one to find. Which is why Ubuyashiki took his death the hardest, because even on the off chance he was still alive...

It wasn't a better situation. So seeing Andou just reminds him of what he's done by sending her father on that very mission.

It was a terrible time altogether for Andou's father, and it got even worse when Inosuke and his mom showed up. Because her father helped them escape, at the cost of his own life...which wasn't even quick, but one that was dragged out over the course of a couple of years as Douma goes about punishing him as means of breaking his spirit to get him to act how he wants.

It doesn't go well, because Andou's father was more resilient than expected, so it was until he was dying for Douma to realize that it was all for nothing and that he should've used different tactics instead of physical violence and torture.

Worst of all, Douma still had the body and part of the reason he's waiting on Andou is becauae he sees a slight opportunity to fix the mistakes of the past for something he wants, assuming she still catches his interest the same way her father did all those years ago.

Otherwise, yum yum, good food. Grow nice and strong, little flower ~

Anyways, it's dark shit, so def fear for Andou
