#the way people are so adamant about dreams speedrunning being faked is so. irritating#everyone even says out loud they just want it to be proven right so that he can be knocked down#and people keep saying oh finally this is coming out because maybe people will realize he’s not perfect or talented and blah blah blah#whether or not he cheated the runs he makes it a point to tell his fans he’s not perfect#he’s made multiple videos on it and mentioned it in passing as well#even in manhunt explanations hes like idk how tf i did that but it worked in my favor yay !#and in what world is he not incredibly talented??? look at any competition or competition prep he’s done he is insane at pvp and parkour#if he was ‘perfect’ he’d win every mcc. but he doesn’t. because he’s obviously not perfect#and if you watch a single video of dreams or anyone else on the smp you’ll see it would be incredibly out of character for him to cheat on#anything? he’s so stubborn and competitive and his morals are set in stone. i find it hard to believe that hed be able to cheat without#feeling like he didn’t do it to the best of his ability and doing the run again legitimately. he needs to KNOW he’s the best.#it’s the quality his whole fucking rp character is based on ffs?? have you heard him talk about him v techno? mans needs to KNOW he’s best#of course this isn’t ruling out him cheating - just saying it’s seems unlikely and either way saying he’s untalented isn’t justified#nor is it necessary in this context. if it turns out he actually did cheat then yes i would lose a ton of respect for him especially#considering how hard he’s fighting against this case - but even so that doesn’t cancel out the fact that he IS talented and deserves#recognition for that. because his skill level is insane. the people he PLAYS WITH are insane. so the fact that he can beat them should prove#that. like man almost the whole mod team on the case quit?? and told him it was bc they think the case was biased?? that should say enough.#if they had gotten fired they could speak up against dreams tweet but they didn’t which basically proves that dream wasn’t lying about them#quitting. people are also saying that the paper itself basically said there’s no way dream could’ve actually done it without cheating. yes.#that’s the point. that’s the whole point of the 25 mf page long paper. is to convince you of that. if the evidence from the paper is your#only resource you’re using biased information whether or not the paper itself is biased. you’re going into something that is clearly against#dream WITH the preconception that he’s cheating. that means there’s bias in your information collection. yeah i take ap stats hi :) hHAHAHA#and only coming from it from dreams ‘stans’ perspective is ALSO wrong. don’t just say there’s no way he cheated bc he’s dream and dream can#do no wrong or whatever.#that’s what i’m saying like. the whole argument is so frustrating because people are really stubborn about their sides with no actual basis#for them. maybe dream cheated! it’s unlikely based on his character but there’s always the chance. but the case should be looked into more#because right now the only information is from the paper and dream himself. there’s needs to be an unbiased third party. the way people are#handling this is ridiculous and very toxic and cheater or not no one deserves that kind of disrespect over something like this#201213#oof i’m not gonna tag this w him bc i. idk people might pop off i just needed to get it out there lmao
