ONCE MORE TO SEE YOU— PART X.
synopsis: on a cold january day, you were worrying about the reason your girlfriend wasn’t texting back. when she finally does and asks to meet at your apartment, you’re met with heartbreak as she ends your relationship. no explanation. two years later, you run into her at a cafe with someone new. what are you to do?
warnings: grief, mentions of death, financial struggles, emotional distress, mild language
pairing: sae-byeok x fem!reader
Tumblr media
The money felt heavier than it should have.
Even though it was safely tucked away in your bag, every time you moved, every time you thought about it, you could feel its presence like a weight pressing down on you. The envelope sat on your kitchen counter for hours after you returned from the diner that night, taunting you, daring you to do something with it.
And eventually, you did.
The next morning, you paid off the rent. Walking into the landlord’s office with a wad of cash felt surreal, almost like you were living someone else’s life. His eyes widened when you handed him the overdue balance along with the next two months in advance, his usual gruff demeanor replaced by something resembling warmth. “Guess you caught a lucky break,” he muttered, scribbling a receipt before waving you off. Lucky wasn’t the word you’d use, but you didn’t bother correcting him.
After that, you tackled your tuition. The woman at the bursar’s office gave you a long, skeptical look when you handed her the money in person, but she processed it without asking questions. Finally, the stack of unpaid hospital bills followed, the last and most painful reminder of your sister’s fight.
By the time it was all done, you were left with only a small amount of the original sum. Enough to get by for the next couple of weeks, but nothing more. Even so, the crushing weight that had been suffocating you for months had finally loosened its grip. For the first time in what felt like forever, you could breathe.
But the relief was short-lived.
The grief hadn’t gone anywhere. It lingered in the corners of your mind, heavy and unrelenting, no matter how much you tried to ignore it. Losing Veda had left a hole in you that nothing could fill, and though the money had solved your financial problems—for now—it couldn’t fix the emptiness in your chest or the ache in your heart.
You stayed home for a week, a whirlwind of grief and exhaustion keeping you from stepping outside. You hadn’t even called Mrs. Hanuel to explain; you just… disappeared. But when you finally worked up the courage to return to the diner, you learned that Sae-byeok had already covered for you.
“She told me everything,” Mrs. Hanuel said when you arrived that morning, her kind eyes soft with sympathy. “You take all the time you need. We’ll manage.”
You blinked, stunned. Sae-byeok had explained? When had she done that? And why? You shook off the questions for now, thanking Mrs. Hanuel quietly before heading to the break room to change into your uniform.
The moment you stepped onto the diner floor, all eyes turned to you. Minji, Hyejin, and Yuna were huddled near the counter, their whispering stopping abruptly when they saw you. You gave them a weak smile, hoping to avoid any awkward questions, but Minji was already rushing over to you.
“You’re back!” she said, her voice bright but tinged with concern. “Are you okay? We were worried about you.”
“I’m fine,” you said quickly, though your voice lacked conviction. “Just… needed some time.”
She nodded, but her gaze lingered on you like she was trying to read between the lines. Before she could press further, Hyejin and Yuna joined her, the three of them forming a small wall of concern around you.
“We missed you,” Yuna said softly. “It’s been different without you here.”
“Different how?” you asked, forcing a small smile. “The place hasn’t burned down, has it?”
“No,” Hyejin said, smirking slightly. “But it’s been… quieter.”
“Quieter?” you repeated, raising an eyebrow.
“Because of Sae-byeok,” Minji blurted out, earning a sharp elbow jab from Yuna. “What? It’s true!”
“What about her?” you asked, your heart skipping a beat.
“She’s been acting weird,” Hyejin said, lowering her voice as she glanced toward the break room. “Like… more serious than usual. And that’s saying something.”
“She barely says a word to anyone,” Yuna added, her tone cautious. “Not that she’s ever super chatty, but it’s like… she’s distracted or something.”
“And crankier,” Minji said, her voice dropping to an exaggerated whisper. “Which is terrifying, by the way.”
You frowned, your mind racing. Sae-byeok wasn’t exactly the warmest person to begin with, so hearing that she’d been more withdrawn than usual wasn’t entirely surprising. But the idea that your absence had anything to do with it felt… strange. Why would it?
Before you could ask more, the break room door creaked open, and Sae-byeok stepped out. Her sharp gaze swept over the diner, landing briefly on your small group. Minji, Hyejin, and Yuna immediately scattered, pretending to busy themselves with various tasks, leaving you standing awkwardly by the counter.
Sae-byeok’s eyes lingered on you for a moment longer before she jerked her head toward the break room. “Come with me.”
Your stomach twisted as you followed her, the atmosphere between you thick and uncomfortable. You hadn’t spoken to her since the night she gave you the money, and you had no idea what to expect. Was she angry? Annoyed? You couldn’t tell.
The moment the door closed behind you, Sae-byeok turned to face you, her arms crossed over her chest. For a long moment, she didn’t say anything, her dark eyes searching your face like she was trying to piece something together.
“How are you?” she asked finally, her voice quieter than you expected.
The question caught you off guard, and for a moment, you didn’t know how to respond. “I… I’m fine,” you said weakly, though you knew it wasn’t convincing.
“Don’t lie,” she said bluntly, her gaze unwavering. “How are you really?”
The weight of her words hit you like a punch to the gut, and you felt your composure start to crack. You looked away, your hands trembling slightly as you clenched them into fists. “I don’t know,” you admitted finally, your voice barely above a whisper. “I don’t know how I’m supposed to feel. Veda’s gone, and it’s like… everything else just stopped mattering.”
Sae-byeok didn’t respond right away, but when she finally spoke, her tone was softer than you’d ever heard it. “It doesn’t stop mattering,” she said quietly. “It just… hurts less. Eventually.”
You looked up at her, surprised by the hint of vulnerability in her voice. For once, her expression wasn’t cold or distant—it was… understanding. Like she knew exactly what you were going through.
And maybe she did.
For a moment, the break room felt like it wasn’t part of the diner. The usual clatter of dishes and muffled conversations outside faded away, leaving only the sound of your uneven breathing and the faint hum of the fluorescent light above. Sae-byeok stood in front of you, her arms still crossed, her dark eyes watching you carefully as if she was trying to figure out the right thing to say.
You hated that she could see right through you. The vulnerability bubbling to the surface felt foreign, uncomfortable, like you were standing in front of her without armor.
“I don’t know how to move on,” you admitted finally, your voice trembling. “Everything feels… empty. Like nothing I do matters anymore. And I know I should be grateful for the money, for the chance to catch up on everything, but it just—it doesn’t change the fact that she’s gone. Veda’s gone, and I couldn’t do anything to save her.”
Your voice cracked on her name, and you bit your lip, trying to hold back the tears threatening to spill over. You’d cried enough in the past week. You didn’t want to cry now, not here, not in front of Sae-byeok.
But then she did something unexpected. She stepped closer, her hands dropping to her sides as she stood just a few inches away from you. Her presence was steady, grounding, and for the first time in weeks, you didn’t feel like you were falling apart.
“You did everything you could,” she said softly, her voice low but firm. “Don’t blame yourself for something you couldn’t control. That’ll kill you faster than anything else.”
Her words hit you harder than you expected, and you blinked up at her, surprised by how much weight they carried. There was something in her tone—an edge of bitterness, like she was speaking from experience.
“I just…” You shook your head, your voice breaking. “I feel so alone.”
“You’re not,” she said, her voice steady. “Not anymore.”
You looked up at her again, and for a moment, you saw something in her eyes that you hadn’t seen before—a flicker of softness, of vulnerability, hidden beneath her usual cold exterior. It wasn’t pity or sympathy; it was something else.
“I’ll be here,” she said, her tone quieter now. “For as long as you need me.”
It wasn’t a grand declaration, and her words weren’t laced with warmth or sentimentality. But they were honest. And coming from her, that meant more than anything else.
You nodded, your throat too tight to speak, and she gave you a small, almost imperceptible nod in return. Then, without another word, she turned and left the break room, slipping back into her usual role as if nothing had happened.
The rest of the day passed in a blur. For the first time in weeks, you felt like you could breathe. Sae-byeok’s words stayed with you, grounding you as you moved from table to table, cleaning up after customers and taking orders.
Your coworkers didn’t push you with questions or comments, which you appreciated. It was like they understood that you needed space, though you caught Minji throwing you a few curious glances throughout the day. Sae-byeok, on the other hand, was her usual self—quiet, focused, and distant. If anyone else noticed the subtle shift in her demeanor, they didn’t say anything.
By the time your shift ended, you felt a strange sense of normalcy returning. It wasn’t much, but it was enough to keep you moving forward.
The diner emptied out slowly, the last of the customers leaving just before midnight. You stayed behind to clean, scrubbing down the counters and wiping the tables until the place was spotless. Everyone else had already left, and the silence of the diner felt comforting rather than suffocating.
You grabbed your bag and headed out through the back door, the cold night air hitting you as you stepped into the alley. The streetlights cast long, uneven shadows across the pavement, and for a moment, the stillness of the night felt peaceful.
But then you heard it—a low, familiar voice that sent a chill down your spine.
“Well, well. Look who we have here.”
You froze, your heart hammering in your chest as you turned toward the source of the voice. Deok-su stepped out of the shadows, his hulking frame blocking the only exit to the alley. His expression was twisted into a sneer, his eyes narrowing as they flicked over you.
“Where’s Kang?” he asked, his voice low and dangerous. “I’ve got some unfinished business with her.”
Your blood ran cold, your mind racing as you tried to figure out what to do. He took a step closer, his presence suffocating, and you realized with a sinking feeling that you were trapped.

"In 1985 I was touring with Bruce Springsteen, who was playing a series of dates in the UK. The shows were mammoth, both physically and in length, running three hours plus. By the time we hit Wembley Stadium in London, I'd hit a creative wall and was trying to come up with an idea that would bring a different look to what I'd been shooting - something, anything, out of the norm. [...]
"I knew from previous shows that Bruce would always go out to the pod at stage right at the exact same point in every show during (if memory serves) "Hungry Heart,” which was the third or fourth song after the intermission. During the break I clamped a Nikon onto the rear railing of the pod stage, with a full frame fisheye lens looking out towards the crowd, and a 10 foot long remote cable hanging underneath the small stage so I could fire the camera from directly underneath Bruce - who wouldn't be able to see me. Of course, I wouldn't be able to see him either, so I needed to talk to him first to prep him on the shot. I pre-focused the camera, set the exposure and made a beeline for Bruce's dressing room. "I know you've got a few things on your mind," I said, "but I've mounted a remote camera on the rear railing of the pod on stage right. You'll barely notice it, but if there is any way that when you're out there you could turn around and play to the back of the house, I think I can get a great shot of you with all of Wembley Stadium in the background - but I really wanna see your face in the shot, so that's why I'll really need you to have your back to the audience." Bruce let me run through my whole speech without saying anything or showing one bit of interest. Then just before I turned to leave he suddenly said, "Yeah, I think it's ok.” I was stunned. I was thrilled that he'd said yes but I thought there is no way in hell Bruce is gonna remember. Like I said, the guy had a lot more important things to think about than my little set-up.
"When the time came I stood underneath the stage with my remote trigger dangling in my hand. I couldn't really see what was happening above me but through the slats in the wooden runway I suddenly saw a pair of black boots running to the spot directly on top of me. I took a deep breath, counted to 10 and kept the button pressed on the remote cable, firing off 36 straight frames. This was gonna be a hit-or-miss situation, no two ways about it. After Bruce finished the show I ran over to the Nikon and made sure that the camera had even fired - and it had. I pocketed the roll of film until I got it to the lab the next day.
"I got everything wanted, and more. Bruce had followed my directions perfectly, and for most of the roll he had faced the back of the house, which was empty because they hadn't sold those seats. He had essentially mugged for my camera with his back to the audience, dancing the exact same way he always did during that song. The crowd must have thought he was crazy but he really came through for me. We ended up with a truly memorable shot that could never have been made without his willingness to just go for it and trust my instincts."

DICK GRAYSON ── .✦
Your biggest fan, no contest. He has a folder on his phone labeled “My Gorgeous Girl” filled with all your magazine covers, runway shots, and candid photos he’s sneakily taken of you (even the ones where you’re eating pizza in sweats).
Loves to drop the fact that you’re a model into conversations. Someone says something even remotely related, and Dick is like, “Oh, that reminds me of the time yn walked for Valentino. She looked stunning. Anyway, how’s your dog?”
Flirty but lowkey jealous. He’s all smiles at your shoots, but if a photographer or fellow model gets a little too friendly, he’ll sidle up behind you, wrap an arm around your waist, and casually go, “Hey, babe, everything good here?”
Runs your fan page in secret. He denies it every time, but you know it’s him posting like archive photos of you? with captions like, “Truly the most breathtaking woman alive.”
Always hypes you up. You’re stressing before a runway show? He’s holding your hands, looking you dead in the eyes, and saying, “You’re going to kill it, just like always. They’re not ready for you.”
JASON TODD ── .✦
Pretends not to care, but he’s secretly obsessed. You’ll catch him flipping through your magazines with a bored expression, but the dog-eared pages of all your spreads say otherwise.
Gets grumpy when he has to share you with the world. “Do you really have to fly to Milan again? Can’t they get someone else to wear the fancy coat?” But he’s the first one to text you after your show with a “You looked amazing. Miss you, though.”
Always lurking at your events. He doesn’t do red carpets, but you’ll spot him in the back of the after-party, leaning against a wall with a drink in hand, watching you like you’re the only person in the room.
Jealous but funny about it. If a male model gets paired with you for a shoot, Jason will grumble, “You know I could wear that suit better, right?”
Says he doesn’t care about fashion but definitely critiques it. “They put you in that? Really? That’s what they think is high fashion?” (Meanwhile, he still owns a leather jacket he’s had since he was 17.)
TIM DRAKE ── .✦
The low-key proud boyfriend. Tim doesn’t brag about you… unless someone else brings it up. Then it’s a full PowerPoint presentation: “Oh, you didn’t know she walked the Paris Fashion Week finale? Let me show you.”, “it’s not that serious Tim.”
Forgets how famous you are sometimes. He’s so focused on his work that when he accompanies you to an event, he’s always surprised when people scream your name. “Wow, they’re… really excited to see you, huh?”
Pretends to be chill but panics at your shoots. If you’re wearing something too revealing, Tim’s sitting in the corner like, “Does she really need to wear that? I mean, it’s fashion, I guess, but still…”
Shows up to all your shows with coffee. He knows your schedule can be brutal, so he always has your favorite drink ready and a warm smile. “Long day, huh? Here, you’ve earned this.”
Accidentally goes viral as your boyfriend. Someone snaps a picture of him holding your bag while you’re doing a fitting, and now he’s trending as “hot model’s mystery man.” Or “Drake Spotted With L/N?”
DAMIAN WAYNE ── .✦
Thinks modeling is beneath you. Not because he doesn’t support you, but because he genuinely thinks you’re too good for it. “Tt. Why waste your time parading around in someone else’s designs when you could rule the world instead?”
Still shows up to your shows like a proud dad. He won’t admit it, but he’s ridiculously proud of you. He’ll sit front row, arms crossed, looking annoyed until you walk out. Then his face softens, and he claps (but only once).
Hates everyone in the industry. Photographers, stylists, agents—he side-eyes them all. “Do they have to touch you so much?”
Quietly supportive in his own way. You come home exhausted, and he’s already brewed your favorite tea and laid out your comfiest pajamas. “You should rest. You’ve worked hard enough today.”
Keeps all your clippings. You find a scrapbook in his study filled with your covers, tear sheets, and event photos. When you ask him about it, he just mutters, “I didn’t want them getting lost.” And even keeps some fan letters that you keep or lost along the way.
BRUCE WAYNE ── .✦
Thinks it’s “adorable.” Bruce can’t help but chuckle whenever you mention your modeling career. “You really enjoy this, don’t you?” But he’s not teasing he genuinely admires how passionate you are.
Surprisingly knowledgeable about fashion. He knows every major designer, can spot couture from a mile away, and will occasionally surprise you by saying things like, “That’s Galliano, isn’t it? From the ‘06 collection?”
Makes every event feel like a power couple moment. When you walk a red carpet together, it’s like the world collectively gasps. He keeps his hand on your back, whispers sweet nothings, and makes sure you’re the center of attention.
Defends your career to anyone who dares question it. Someone makes a snide remark about modeling being “shallow,” and Bruce immediately shuts them down with, “Actually, it’s an incredibly demanding profession that requires both discipline and skill. You should try it sometime.”
Buys your agency. You’re stressed about a bad contract or a difficult agent? Suddenly, Wayne Enterprises owns the company, and Bruce is like, “Problem solved. You can thank me later.”

An in depth study of Fiyero and Elphaba's first meeting in the Wicked movie
So I've wanted to do an analysis of this scene from the moment I saw it. It's such a great addition to canon and gives such a fascinating insight into both of their personalities and the facades they put on to others. It also gives hints of the fact that both of them are pretty good at breaking down each other's walls.
From the top:
“Woah, Woah there, woah.”
“I did not see her.”
“Yeah, neither did I.”
“You might want to, um”
“Ok.”
“You know,”
“Yeah. I’m so sorry miss, I didn’t see you there, you must have...”
The first impression we get of Fiyero is that he’s kind. Obviously careless enough to hit a girl in the dark, but he immediately slows down and, even before Feldspar has told him to apologise, he’s got down and is about to make his way over.
It’s also important to note we that seeing him talk to a Horse as a friend, when just the scene prior we have seen that a large amount of the population don’t want Animals to talk at all. In fact, this is the only other human we see friends with an Animal in the entire movie, and it sets up immediately the fact that he will agree with Elphaba on her cause.
“...blended with the foliage.”
Here is his first reaction to Elphaba’s greenness. It is the rudest thing that Fiyero says to her all scene, and something that immediately puts Elphaba on the defensive, having heard shit like this all her life, but it’s also very on par with Fiyero and his constant habit of saying dumb shit whenever Elphaba is around (“yeah, or maybe it scratched me or something,” and “well, actually it was, but it wasn’t” come to mind), he’s surprised and he reacts with humour (something we see he does a lot).
It’s interesting to contrast this to his musical comment, “Well maybe the driver saw green and thought it meant go,” which is a lot more pointed and insulting, blaming the situation on her (though to be fair she does wake him up and attack him for what his carriage driver did), Fiyero in the movie reacts dumbly but not maliciously.
“Is this how you go through life? Just running amuck and trampling anyone in your path?”
Elphaba is immediately on the defensive. She’s already stressed about Doctor Dillamond, pissed off about being knocked over and now, as usual, she has met a new person who is insulting her skin tone. So she does what she does best, she puts her walls up and hides behind them.
“No.”
*Feldspar laughs*
Fiyero is shocked by this attack. He’s naturally charming, to the point where he relies on his charm to get him out of situations. So the fact it doesn’t work stuns him a little. This is why Feldspar laughs, because he knows Fiyero and how he normally acts, and it is funny to see him not immediately manage the situation.
“No, sometimes I’m asleep.” *looks at her flirtily*
Fiyero recovers, his walls are back up. He’s over the shock of seeing someone green and how she’s reacted to him, so he goes back to charm by flirting with her. Notice how he is using self derogatory humour, it’s easy charm that he knows how to use – he’s trying to ease the situation by insulting himself and making her laugh. It’s also another way of cultivating his image, Fiyero very deliberately portrays himself as stupid, flirty and lazy (he sings an entire song about it!) and here he is playing it up.
Also, I’m pretty sure this is a reference to their meeting in the musical (where he is actually asleep), which is cute.
*Awkward pause*, “Yeah, alright, alright, here we go. No, I’m not seasick.”
Elphaba, who is not at all used to people flirting with her, but is used to people asking questions and insulting her skin tone – has picked up none of the playful implications and only that he is stupid and lazy, and therefore starts the rant that she’s said 100 times before.
“Neither am I.”
“No. I did not eat grass as a child.”
“Oh you didn’t? I did!”
But Fiyero starts replying! Again, it’s all charm and self derogatory humour, but he’s sensed the unease, he did not come to insult or attack her, and he’s trying to lighten the situation with his usual techniques he uses on everyone – but they are not working.
“And yes, I have always been green.”
“And the defensiveness? Is that a recent development?”
And here we see Fiyero let down his shield a little, and let on that he’s less dumb than he’s acting. Fiyero is remarkably good at understanding people, it’s how he manages to maintain his facade in the first place – and it’s how he ends up being an effective double agent through most of act 2. Fiyero immediately realises that Elphaba is putting on an act too, that she’s not just attacking him because she’s annoyed at him but that there’s something more going on there.
I love it. I love it so much. It’s such a good addition to the musical canon, because all the traits for Fiyero to be like this are already there, and it adds an extra bit of depth to our understanding of why he’s fascinated with Elphaba – because he knows that she’s another person hiding her true self from the world. It’s such a good link to the Lion Cub scene later where Elphaba pretty much calls him out on the same thing.
*Elphaba stares*
*Fiyero tries a smoulder*
“Hm.”
There is a second here where Elphaba realises that she’s been called out. That she’s attacked him when he wasn’t being malicious and it does cause her to retreat slightly.
Fiyero, now in safer territory, puts his walls back up and goes back to flirting. Elphaba, again not used to this at all, doesn’t really understand this and is still in a bad mood about the Animals, so breaks the moment.
*Feldspar laughs, Fiyero tries to shh him but laughs too.*
*Elphaba notices and stalks off.*
So this is interesting. From context clues, what Feldspar is laughing at earlier and Fiyero’s comment later, it appears he’s laughing at Fiyero, that his easy charm hasn’t worked and he’s found himself on the back foot. Fiyero, bewildered, but still playing up his persona, laughs too. Elphaba sees this and, obviously, immediately takes this as them laughing at her greenness, and therefore any goodwill from what he’s said is gone, and she stalks off.
“I’m off for some more trampling, may we offer you a ride?”
Fiyero, bless him, tries again. He’s seen he’s offended her, though probably hasn’t quite connected exactly why, and tries to make right. So he goes in with more self derogatory humour as well as a genuinely kind offer – it probably isn’t safe for her to walk back in the dark – but the moment has been lost.
“No thanks. Get stuffed.”
Elphaba’s walls are back up again. She might regret the “stuffed” comment by the end of act 2 though...
“Wow, Feldspar, we have just been spurned by a girl.”
“Indeed.”
“Guess there’s a first time for everything.”
Fiyero ends the scene baffled, unsettled, but interested. He plays it off as if he’s normal and also reassembles his walls and defensiveness, again playing into the lazy playboy persona he puts on, ready for his next scene with Galinda.

Hello!!!
I’ve literally been eating up you work, everything you put out is 10/10
I’m curious to know your thoughts on this; how would svt react to their s/o saying i love you for the first time during sex? Like they’re just so lost in pleasure that it slips out and their s/o doesn’t even realize
seventeen reaction; you saying i love you for the first time, during sex
WARNINGS: 18+, smut, does not necessarily mention established relationships.
seungcheol's hips grind against yours, his hands gripping your thighs with a bruising force. you're not even thinking when it slips out, a breathless “i love you” falling from your lips. his movements stop abruptly, eyes wide as he looks down at you, stunned. “did you just said…?” he trails off, not quite sure how to proceed. you freeze too, “s-say what?” you stammer, trying to backpedal. but he cuts you off with a soft grunt, resuming his movements. “nothing, baby,” he whispers, “just… keep going.” he says, his voice a low rumble, as he focuses back on the rhythm, clearly trying to push the words out of his mind for now. but his heart melting, because he loves you more :(
jeonghan’s reaction is quiet. his pace doesn’t falter, but his eyes meet yours, and there’s a knowing look in them. it’s like he’s waiting for you to realize what you just said. he doesn’t say anything, but the slight smirk on his lips tells you he heard every word. later, you know he’ll bring it up, but for now, he seems content, almost smug, as if pleased that he’s drawn such a confession out of you.
joshua pulls back slightly, his eyes searching yours for any sign that you meant what you said. you want to hide yourself, but he sharpens his thrust, making you gasp. “say. it. again.” he growls. then he adds another sharp thrust, and you melt, “i love you, joshua.” you repeat, eyes shut. he smiles, his ego boosting like a rocket.
junhui doesn’t say anything at first, just stares at you like he’s trying to commit this moment to memory. “you’re serious?” he finally asks. you don’t fully understand his reaction, just nodding absently. he exhales sharply, a shaky breath running out of him as he leans down to kiss you. “you have no idea how much i’ve wanted to hear that,” he murmurs against your lips.
soonyoung’s stops mid-thrust, looking down at you with a raised eyebrow. “am i fucking you that good?” he asks, a naughty smirk twitching at his lips. you feel your face heat up, embarrassed by your slip. you try to brush it off, to pretend it didn’t happen, but he’s not having it. “no, no, i want to hear it again.” he waits, hovering above you, until you mutter the words again. only then does he resume, his thrusts harder, more intense, as if to prove a point. “i knew you couldn’t resist me.”
wonwoo’s reaction is instant. his breath hitches, and his hips stutter for a moment. “fuck…” he whispers, burying his face in your shoulder. the words seem to have a strong effect on him, and you can feel him trembling slightly. it’s like those three words have broken through his soul. his movements become more inconsistent, and you can tell he’s close. the way he holds you, clinging to you, you know he’s been affected deeply. he cums shortly after, burying himself deep inside you. “didn’t think you’d be confessing your love like this.”
jihoon’s sharp ears don’t miss a thing. you see his eyes widen, a slight flush creeping up his neck. he doesn’t say anything, but you can tell he’s heard you loud and clear. there’s a moment of tension, and you can feel him almost pull back, as if to process what you just said. “we'll talk about it later” he says. this was enough to make you overthink here and there. but he doubles down, he’s determined to bring you back to the moment, to keep you from getting lost in your own thoughts. and it works. you’re soon too dazzled by his cock blessing your walls to think about anything else.
minghao’s answer is more composed. “you’re not thinking straight,” he says, his voice firm. he slows down, making you look into his eyes. “say it again, but mean it.” his tone is serious, almost challenging. you swallow, the words catching in your throat. but the power of his stare makes it impossible to lie. you repeat the words, this time with clarity, and he nods, pleased. “good,” he mumbles, before continuing his pace, more controlled, more purposeful.
mingyu’s freezes for a second, and you can see the surprise in his eyes. but then he quickly recovers, pretending like it didn’t happen. “i didn’t hear anything,” he says with a grin, continuing his movements. you can feel the slight tension in his body, but he doesn’t bring it up. he’s clearly trying to keep things light, to not make a big deal out of it. but you know he heard you. and from the way he’s moving, the intensity in his stare, you can tell it’s on his mind. his lips glued in a line so he can hold the 'i love you more' for later.
seokmin’s response is immediate. “repeat it,” he demands, he pushes his cock, deeper, his eyes locked onto yours. “say it,” he insists, his pace relentless. you can barely form the words, but you manage to stutter out another “i love you.” everytime you say it, he thrusts harder, until you’re a crying mess beneath him, he grins down at you, clearly enjoying the power he has over you at this moment.
seungkwan’s ears are blushed, but he hits that spot inside you that makes you see stars, making you gasp. “uh? what? i didn’t hear you. can you repeat it?” he teases, you feel your face flush, but there’s no way you’re getting out of this. he slows down, waiting for you to repeat the words. and you do, reluctantly. he grins, satisfied, and resumes his pace.
vernon is the gentleman. “you… love me?” he trails off. before you can even think about apologizing, he’s kissing you, his lips soft but insistent. “don’t be sorry,” he murmurs against your lips, his pace never faltering. he’s reassuring, comforting, as if he’s trying to tell you that it’s okay, that he’s not going anywhere. it’s like he’s telling you that he’s there for you, that he understands. and mainly... that he loves you too.
chan’s smile shines to the point of blindness “are you confessing to me?” he asks. you feel your face heat up, embarrassed by your slip. he chuckles, clearly enjoying your discomfort. “that’s what i’m hearing,” he continues, a grin spreading across his face. you try to brush it off, to pretend it didn’t happen, but he’s not letting it go.

⭑.ᐟ Before a Night Out - Kim Mingyu x reader
genre: blurb, fluff, established relationship word count: 741 warnings: light jealousy rating: PG / SFW
Disclaimer: My works are fictional and do not reflect real-life situations, cultures, or individuals. All characters are purely fictional, regardless of names or descriptions.
Tumblr media
You're standing by the front door; one hand on the wall to keep yourself stable, and the other hand desperately trying to put your second heel on. The dress you're wearing definitely isn't helping your predicament. It looks good on you - you have no doubt about that - but it does restrict your movement ever so slightly. When you finally got the heel on, you put your foot back down on the ground and stood up normally. After straightening out your dress you look up at the man in front of you.
"Good?" you ask.
"No... you should just stay home..." Mingyu says jokingly.
"Babe."
He looks at you, with an almost pained expression, before letting out an exasperated sigh. "You look stunning. Sorry... I just want to go with you."
Your boyfriend is standing in front of you in only sweats and a hoodie. It's a strange sight to see as, usually, it's the other way around. Mingyu would go off to fancy events while you had to stay home. The tables turned when you got invited to the big Christmas party at your new job. A plus one was given to everyone invited, but you can hardly show up with a famous idol on your arm. Not when your relationship is still supposed to be secret, that is.
"I know you're upset..." You lean down and fix your shoe again, the thin strap of your dress falling down your shoulder in the process. "But I'll try to keep it short."
You didn't notice the strap of your dress until Mingyu reaches his hand to fix it. He takes his time gliding it up your shoulder, letting his finger linger on your warm skin before his hand rests there completely.
"Who's going to fix your dress if I'm not there?" He pouts, and you find it hard to not laugh at the pity party he's throwing himself - a taste of sweet revenge.
"Don't worry, I'll find someone," you joke.
"Y/N."
"Mingyu."
You're not one to back down, and neither is he. But tonight, he tries his best to let go of his pride. "I'll miss you," he says.
"I'll be a few hours, tops!" You laugh, just because you don't have it in you to hold it in anymore.
"I'll still miss you. Next time I'll go with you." His hand moves from your shoulder to your waist, to pull you in closer. "I'll let you show me off to everyone at work. Isn't that what you said you wanted, hm?"
You recall the many nights you had complained to him about the women at work fawning over the new pictures of your boyfriend. Whether it's a new comeback, a photoshoot, or a brand collaboration, it doesn't matter. You're still just as jealous as your man is right now.
"We're really made for each other, aren't we?" You grin at him before leaning forward to press a kiss to his cheek, your red lipstick leaving a mark that you don't bother to wipe off. "Sure. Next year I'll take you with me."
You both know it's an empty promise. Neither of you know what next year will look like for him professionally. Still, Mingyu smiles. "Promise?" he asks.
"Promise." You nod. "Could you get me my coat now, darling?"
Mingyu lets go of you, and a chill runs down your spine at the lack of his warmth. He takes your coat out of the closet and puts it over your shoulders. As he swings it around you, you're hit with a familiar scent... his perfume.
"Did you spray my coat with perfume, Gyu?" you ask with a smile.
Mingyu avoids your gaze, focusing on fixing the collar of your coat. "I don't know what you're talking about."
"... well, whatever it is, I'm sure it'll keep all the men away from me tonight." Your comment makes him chuckle.
The taxi honks outside, signaling that it's your time to go. Mingyu leans down and presses a quick kiss to your lips. You'll have to fix your lipstick in the cab, but you don't mind that much.
"You really do look beautiful," he murmurs. "I hope you have fun, even if I'm not there tonight."
"I'll try my best." You peck his lips again, and walk out the door with a warm heart - knowing that you'll have a cuddly six-foot-tall teddy bear waiting for you when you get home.

Eyes On Me
Tumblr media
Seungmin x skz 9th member fem!reader
Synopsis: What happens when Seungmin sees you being touchy with another member? What happens when that other member may also have feelings for you too…?
Warnings: fluff, angst?, jealousy, kissing/making out, fingering, oral (f receiving), denied orgasm, getting interupted/caught
Word Count: 2.2k
Author's Note: Someone requested I make a fic with Seungmin based off one of my original works "Give Into Me" and I decided to give it a go! This is not proofread so please send in any grammar mistakes or missed warnings. Enjoy!
——————
It was late at night and you were still at dance practice with the other members. You kept fumbling a particular move and your frustration and fatigue wasn’t making the situation any better.
“Okay, why don’t we just take a break for a little bit, yeah?” Chan said, gently resting his hand on your shoulder in an attempt to calm you down. You let out a frustrated sigh, looking down in defeat and running your hand through your hair.
“Okay… yeah, fine,” you mumbled as you trudged your way to the sofa in the corner of the room. You slumped down on the sofa letting out a long breath of air. You closed your eyes in an effort to tune out the side conversations from the other members. Your moment alone didn’t last long when you felt someone move your legs on top of their lap. You opened your eyes to see Felix on the other side of the couch, staring tentatively at you.
“You shouldn’t be so hard on yourself, y/n,” Felix said, softly massaging your calf. You sighed at the feeling, closing your eyes again.
“I just don’t understand why I keep messing it up,” you grumbled, mainly to yourself.
“We’ve been practicing since this morning,” Felix began massaging up your leg. “Your body’s all tensed up from overworking it, give yourself some leeway here.” He applied pressure to a knot in your leg making you hiss and he quickly apologized by gently rubbing over it with his fingers.
Moments like this with Felix weren’t unusual between you two. Felix was naturally touchy with everyone, like he felt the need to take care of others or be close to them, so whenever you two would had moments like this, none of the members thought anything of it.
Or so you thought.
As Felix continued with his massage, you couldn’t help but feel like someone was staring at you. You looked across the room and see Seungmin looking right at you, specifically where Felix was massaging your legs. His unreadable gaze lingered on Felix before his eyes met yours and he quickly looked away.
Weird.
Felix noticed your attention was elsewhere and gently placed his hand in yours.
“Hey,” you let out a soft gasp as his voice pulled you back to him. “You still with me?”
“Uh yeah, sorry…”
He soothingly rubbed his thumbs along your wrists, applying light pressure and you melted into the cushions. A shadow cast over you, diverting your attention from Felix once more.
“Y/n, can I talk to you for a minute?” Seungmin asked, his expression still unreadable.
You slowly sat up, “uh, yeah what’s up?”
Seungmin glanced at Felix, his eyes flickering down to where Felix was holding your hands, and he held back a scoff. “I mean like… in private.” You turned towards Felix and he nodded his head towards you to leave with him.
“Okay.” You got off Felix’s lap and followed Seungmin outside the studio into the hallway. Seungmin suddenly grabbed your wrist and dragged you down the hallway into one of the empty meeting rooms. He slowly paced towards you once the door was closed and you took a few steps back, letting out a soft gasp when your back hit the wall. He placed his hands on either side of your head, caging you between him and the wall, the space between your lips ever so small.
“What’s going on between you and Felix?”
Your mouth opened and closed, stunned by his candid statement.
“H-he was just helping me relax my muscles,” you said, your voice wavering slightly. “There’s n-nothing going on.”
“Really? It’s nothing?” he whispered, his tongue pressing against his cheek. “The way he touches you… all the time…” he lets out a humorless chuckle and the gap between your lips slowly begins to thin. “Fuck… I should be the one touching you. Not him.”
“W-where is this coming from…?” your words caught in your throat. Every sense in your body heightened with every word he spoke, your nerves on fire. He sucked in a breath of air, tilting his head back, “How oblivious are you? I’m fucking jealous, y/n.”
You froze, staring into his eyes, looking for any signs that he was lying but all you saw was desperation and unrecognizable hunger burning within him. He was dead serious and it made your breath hitch. You’d never seen this side of Seungmin before, the jealous side of him, and it made your heart beat quicken with anticipation,
“S-Seungmin, I…” Your voice faded away when he shifted his body closer to you, involuntarily leaning forward when he traced his thumb along your bottom lip. He whispered in a low, seductive tone that sent a shiver through your whole body.
"Can I kiss you?"
You managed to weakly nod and he wasted no time in cupping your cheeks and smashing his lips against yours. The kiss was sensual and desperate, and you wondered how long he'd been waiting to do this.
He tilted your head back to deepen the kiss, making you gasp. You hesitantly wrapped your arms around his neck and he pushed his tongue into your mouth. He licked into your mouth, making you whimper as he lightly tugged on your hair.
He broke away from the kiss, leaving you panting and he began trailing hot kisses from your cheek down to your neck, letting out a soft moan when he sucked at the sweet spot below your ear.
"Take this off," he murmured into your neck, tugging at the baggy t-shirt you were currently wearing. All coherent thoughts were out the window at this point and you wasted no time in pulling it over your head.
Seungmin paused his movements, staring down at your nearly bare chest in pure admiration. His lingering gaze made you feel self-conscious and you lifted your arms to cover yourself. Seungmin was quick to pull your arms away from your chest and pin them against the wall.
"Don't cover up," his voice was barely audible, like he was in a trance.
"You were staring…" you whispered, his gaze making you feel small.
Seungmin's hands trailed down your arms, one landing firmly on your waist and the other sneaking behind your back to play with your bra straps. He leaned down and placed a soft kiss between your breasts.
"The things I want to do to you, y/n…" he mumbled, looking up at you through his eyelashes. The vibrations his words sent through you made you whine and lean into his touch. You could see the desperation in his eyes, you knew he wanted this deeply but he also didn't want to make you uncomfortable.
"Do them then," you whispered, voice shaky but certain.
That was all he needed to hear.
Seungmin wrapped his arms under your legs, signaling for you to wrap them around him. The moment you were off the ground, he headed straight for the table in the middle of the room, hurriedly placing you down on it. He planted sloppy, wet kisses across your collarbone, running his hands along the curves of your waist and hips. He pulled away and took his shirt off, throwing it to a corner in the room, then hungrily dove back into your lips.
His hands trailed down to your sweatpants, tugging at the waistband, awaiting your approval. You lifted your hips up into his hands as an answer and he immediately pulled them off. He broke from the kiss again, and positioned himself between your legs. His hands massaged the inside of your thighs, peppering wet kisses near your core. Your body was on fire, and your core was aching with need.
"Can Felix compare to this?" he teased, making eye contact with you and continuing his assault on your thighs.
"W-what?" you questioned, tilting your head back when he kissed just above your clothed core.
"I saw him touching you earlier."
You frowned down at him, "no, he was —"
Your response was cut off when Seungmin suddenly yanked your underwear off your legs, revealing your heat to the cool air. He immediately shoved his face between your legs, ripping a moan from your throat. His tongue flattened against your folds, hastily licking up and down your cunt. Your hands flew to his hair, gripping the strands weakly as he began working on your clit; sucking, nipping, licking.
The pressure in your stomach tightened, and Seungmin stuffed two fingers into your hole without warning, causing you to moan loudly, arching your back off the table.
"O-oh my god… fuck ahh-" He sped up his fingers and sucked on your clit harder, your orgasm building rapidly. Just as you were about to release there was a knock on the door. Seungmin immediately pulled out and you spontaneously whimpered from your denied orgasm.
"Is everything okay in there?" Felix called from the other side of the door. You quickly sat up on the table, frantically searching the room for your clothes. Seungmin was already helping you put your pants back on when you realized you didn't see your shirt anywhere near you.
"Yeah, hold on!" Seungmin called out, also searching for his shirt, which he spotted in a corner, stepping away from you to quickly grab it. Your mind was racing at all the things that could possibly go wrong in this situation, that's when you realized the door wasn't locked. Your heart stopped when you heard more voices outside the door.
"Open the door! Are you guys dying?" Changbin said dramatically, knocking on the door again, this time with more force. Your eyes were trained on the door, purely mortified.
"Y/n, where's your shirt?" Seungmin said, cupping your cheeks, pulling you out of your thoughts to make you look him in his eyes.
"I-it's by the door-" your sentence was cut off when you heard the door open. There in the doorway stood the other members, their expressions switched from worried to shocked and baffled in an instant.
"Oh my god!" Jeongin exclaimed, covering his face dramatically with his hands. Seungmin covered your chest with his shirt and protectively stood in front of you, shielding your body from the members. The ironic thing is, that Seungmin himself was still shirtless, too.
"No way… this is why you were gone so long?" Changbin said, mouth agape.
"About damn time," Minho said, crossing his arms with a sly grin.
"What are you guys doing?! Get out!" Seungmin exclaimed, shooing them off. Your face was beat red and you turned in the opposite direction with pure embarrassment.
"Oh, my eyes need bleach," Hyunjin mumbled, speedily walking away. The other members followed soon after, their conversations overlapping each other. A figure remained in the doorway, its gaze lingering on your shirt that lay on the floor by the door.
"Felix, go." Seungmin said blankly.
You turned back to face the door again when you heard his name. Felix locked eyes with you, his expression unreadable. You frowned when he gripped the door frame and practically slammed the door shut, making you slightly jump. You didn't expect that kind of reaction from him, and you felt like something inside you shifted.
What just happened? Was Felix upset?
The silence that followed was deafening.
Seungmin slowly turned around to look at you. Before he could say anything, you hesitantly rested your forehead on his bare chest. You let out a heavy sigh and Seungmin gently caressed your back, kissing the top of your head.
"Did Felix look… upset to you?" You asked, lifting your head off his chest. Seungmin's facial expression shifted for a second when you mentioned Felix's name, "We should probably get dressed…"
"But-" you were cut off by Seungmin cupping your cheeks and connecting his lips with yours. He separated his lips from yours and spoke in a surprisingly soft tone, "He was probably just shocked from walking in on us." He emphasized the last word, like he wanted you to know that he has you, not Felix.
You studied his face for a moment, sensing that something else was going on but you decided to shrug it off as it just being a really awkward situation. I mean… the members did walk in on you.
"Yeah, okay you're probably right," you slid off the table and grabbed your shirt from by the door, putting it on. Your heart dropped for a split second just thinking about having to see the other members after what just happened. Your hand hovered over the door knob, shaking almost violently, not realizing how much the event had affected you until your adrenaline wore out.
Seungmin noticed your unease and slithered his hands around your waist from behind, resting his head at the crook of your neck.
"Together, okay?" You sighed at his words, feeling more at ease knowing that you weren't doing this by yourself.
"Together…"

CAN YOU FEEL MY HEART BURNING, CAN YOU FEEL ALL MY GOOD LOVING — YUUJI ITADORI
cw: mentioned sex, friends to lovers, yuuji greatest boy
Tumblr media
The first time that Yuuji asks you out, you reject him. It’s not a matter of not liking him or liking him (even though you do like him, a lot)—it’s a matter of maintaining your friendship, about weighing risk versus reward, and about pushing your personal feelings aside for what’s best for everybody.
Yuuji doesn’t listen. To him, your rejection was just confirmation about what he already knew about you—that you had a tendency to run away or avoid things you didn’t want to confront, but only when you were really, truly scared.
So, he does what he does best; he takes it to the next level. Despite being rejected, he holds your hand, and pulls you close, gives you kisses on your cheek, and your neck sometimes, and once you even let him leave a hickey, even though you spew the same mantra of—“You shouldn’t—Yuuji we shouldn’t be doing this”—you let him charm you every time.
Because Yuuji knows that you like him back, and he knows that even though you’re scared to say it, deep down you know that he’s always been yours. Because Yuuji is your best friend, and he knows better than anyone how to punch through the walls you so carefully build up. Because, honestly, you should have learned by now to stop trying to keep him out—he makes his way in no matter how many walls you put up.
It’s how you end up in bed with him only three mere weeks after rejecting his confession. And even though you’ve both been as close as two people can be, Yuuji knows he’s missing one thing from you; one final seal to show you that he’s it, that there’s nothing to be afraid of, and to get you to stop running once and for all.
Which is exactly why when you ask him if he wants to see thew new Spiderman movie after breakfast, he smiles and puts his plan into action.
“Yeah, of course,” Yuuji grins, “If you say that it’s a date.”
Your smile falls halfway, but Yuuji’s only widens as he slips his hands into his pockets. He waits, expectantly, even through your stunned silence, and you finally sigh when he begins to rock on his heels.
“Yuuji, you know that–”
“What I know is that you’ve got to get out of that head of yours sooner than later,” he says, leaning forward to happily invade your space to tap at your forehead, “And that you love me.”
“Yeah, I kind of thought the confession that I only turned you down because I didn’t want to lose you, and the having sex with you last night kinda let you show that.”
“Yes, yes, there was all of that,” Yuuji moves his hands to cup the sides of your head, looks into your widening eyes and grins, “But I’m giving you a way to make it official in that complicated little head of yours. So, go on, ask me out. I promise I won’t say no.”
Your eyebrows pinch together. Yuuji immediately moves his thumbs to stroke at the tail ends of them as you pout, “What do you mean ‘make it official?’ I know—I mean I hope that all our feelings are official.”
“Make it official to you,” Yuuji clarifies, using his right thumb to tap at your temple, “In that beautiful—” he bends forwards to press a kiss to your forehead, “—smart —” another kiss, “—very complicated —” and another, “—head of yours that I love so much. So, like I was saying: ask me out, so that you get your closure even though you don’t think you need it, and you start seeing and learning that I don’t want to do anything with you without romantic intentions.”
Yuuji presses one last kiss before pulling away to show you his glowing smile. Your expression softens through his speech—confusion sinking into surprise and then pure adoration. You’re slightly amazed that Yuuji has deciphered this for you before you could even fathom a justification behind your emotions, but then again, you think, you shouldn’t be; Yuuji has proved, throughout the course of your friendship and his courtship, that you have his undivided attention—that you are the object of his desires, and as such, it’s only natural that he knows the parts of you that you don’t think about.
So, you concede, push your shock and pride aside, and close that embarrassing gaping mouth of yours because this is Yuuji and for all the shit you’ve put him through, the least you could do is ask him out.
“Okay. Will you go to the movies with me?”
Except when screws up his face and purses his lip in dissatisfaction, you wonder if you should put him through the wringer yourself.
Yuuji’s grip on your head tightens ever so slightly, not enough to be uncomfortable, just enough for him to manually shake your head to mirror his own, “You have to make it clearer that you’re asking me out. We go to the movies all the time, I love movies—”
“Yeah, exactly,” you frown, reaching your right hand to grab at Yuuji’s wrist to still your shaking head, “I’m asking you to do something I know you love.”
“Ah, but you see how that’s confusing to me,” Yuuji quips, “I am but your oblivious friend—you have to let me know that you want me to be there with you because you like me, otherwise I might not know for the next twenty-something years, and history will repeat itself and—ow!”
“I get it, you asshole,” you bite. Yuuji gives you a shallow shrug, and a crooked smile, that you, begrudgingly, find endearing. So much so that you groan and let your head fall forward until your forehead is pressed against Yuuji’s chest. You can hear his laughter; feel the way his palms immediately latch to your back to rub shallow circles. “This is stupid. I can’t believe I like you and you’re making me do all this for some three-hour movie.”
“Oh, wrong L-word, try again.”
“Even worse. You know I love you and you insist on making me do this.”
“You must think I’m worth it, or you would have left me hanging a long time ago,” Yuuji gives you another kiss to the crown of your head, before he holds you by the shoulders to urge you to stand up straight, “Now come on, ask me out, sweep me off my feet, m’lady.”
You blink your eyes open slowly, adjusting for the sparkling image of Yuuji standing before you, waiting far too patiently. That awe washes over you again—a wave for the overbearing love you feel for him, another for the incredible soul the boy in front of you is—for how lucky you truly are to have him.
And you are lucky to have Yuuji. To be loved by Yuuji. So, you reach for his hands and wrap yours around them before you look up to face him and ask, “Itadori Yuuji, will you go out with me?”
“Yes, and I’ll do you one better,” he smiles, shakes your hands off so that he can put them on your waist to pull you to his chest, “I’ll be your boyfriend, too.”

80’s makeout session —
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing : idol!anton x non-idol gn!reader
summary : you and your boyfriend, anton, haven’t seen eachother for a while so you and his members decide to surprise him (features wonbin + shotaro + seunghan)
warnings : fluff, making out, anton being lwk touch starved
a/n : first riize fic ! hope u guys enjoy :3 also i wrote this in like 30 mins so yeah !
— w/c : ~1k — not proof read ! —
anton was always a person who liked to show affection, even if it was embarrassing for him. his members would make it their mission to try and tease him as much as possible whenever you were mentioned.
it’s been a while since you’ve seen anton since he’s been busy with his group, preparing for their upcoming comeback. he’s been texting you over and over saying how much he misses you. if the members ever saw your conversations, they would never let him hear the end of it.
missing his contact as well, you decide to take a peak at his schedule and see he has a show soon. now wanting to surprise him, you contact wonbin and see if he’ll let you in backstage. after asking the company, he was actually able to get you a backstage ticket as staff.
you make it to the concert, walking into the backstage to meet up with wonbin. you got some snacks earlier as a thank you to him for letting you in without anton knowing. you see him waiting outside, leaning on the wall, trying to appear nonchalant. you found it funny.
“hey wonbin, thanks for letting me in” you thank him before handing him the package of snacks. you can see his nonchalantness leave him for a moment as he smiles at the food but as soon as he realized he puts the straight face back on.
“we should be thanking you,” wonbin argued, “anton wouldn’t stop talking about how much he missed you”
you giggle at his word but you aren’t surprised. after all, he would always text you about how he would miss you.
wonbin takes you to an empty preparation room before leaving you there to go and grab anton. after a short delay, the door creeks open to reveal the tall brachio boy in front of you who appears stunned that you are in front of him.
“y/n..?” he spurts out, mouth opened from not expecting anything. wonbin told him that there was a surprise here but anton thought he was kidding.
you open you arms reaching for a hug before he closes the door and runs over to give you one. “oh my fucking god i miss you so much,” anton mumbles into your shoulder, “we’re so busy with the comeback and tours”
“i know, but i’m here right now,” you reply with a smile, giggling after being able to see your boyfriend after so long. “i missed you too”
anton takes any remaining words out of your mouths with a much needed kiss with lots of feeling. you could tell he needed it and too be honest, you needed it as well. he leans into you, further deepening the kiss increasing both of your heart rates.
you pull out of the kiss, regaining your breath, “jesus, someone’s needy for some kisses,” you tease anton.
“of course i am, i haven’t seen you in forever. this is the best surprise the hyungs got” he smiles, giving you butterflies in you stomach. how can someone be so cute?
anton digs in for another kiss, this time you lean into him. you could tell he was all giggly cause his hands were on you waist keeping you from leaning in further.
“calm down there y/n,” he chuckled, his smile looking bigger than ever.
“okay then anton, whatever you say,” you roll your eyes but while you’re distracted he kisses you again.
the small sound of the door behind him opens up to shotaro, “the show is starting soon so get ready,” shotaro’s eyes slowly dart to you, “oh and hi y/n,” his voice softer and offering a wave before leaving to get his finishing touches done.
“you should leave and get pretty,” you joke, looking at his messed up makeup.
“you better be here after the show,” he says looking as cute as ever.
some more knocks are followed by that last statement, “hurry up anton, stop making out already,” it was likely the voice of seunghan.
anton flushes, “looks like i should go” he says as you give him a giggly nod. you know his hyungs are going to tease him for this but both of you think its all worth it.

When you return from a gruelling mission, bloodied and bruised, your knuckles bearing the scars of war, Levi does two things:
The first comes as if on instinct, a mere reflex, spewed from his lips without a thought and tumbling before he can stop it. “You smell like shit, soldier.” The comment is uttered evenly, void of any real bite, and closely followed by a sigh. A ragged, bone-weary, half-hearted thing that deflates his frame in a way being in the Underground never could.
And for some reason, it all makes you feel warm.
Perhaps it’s the way he says it, or perhaps it’s the way he chooses not to say anything else. Regardless, you take it and cradle it between your fingers, peel back the multitude of layers and recognise it for what it is: affection (dressed in barbed wire, one with spikes that have begun to wear.)
The second, however, is something different altogether. This one feels like something that came from inside Levi, something that he had kept bottled up and sheltered, something that only you got a glimpse of. (It was often he gave you these glimpses of himself. None coherent or related to the last. You think you are finally beginning to put him together, to piece the enigmaticness of him —
— but then he turns and walks away.)
He glances at you over his shoulder, motioning with his chin for you to follow him, lips pulling into a line as yours tremble.
(The puzzle pieces scatter, make a mess of themselves.)
And with a part of you burning with curiosity and defeat, the other aflame with desperation, you find yourself following. You always do, ever the curious. “It’s in your blood,” he whispered to you one night, voice a muted wisp as you lay against his bare chest, damp and warm and clutching him close.
(He didn’t talk a lot — never talked a lot — when you were in his arms. It’s how you learnt to listen. Sometimes his admissions would come spilling, like those times where he’d drink just enough to get drunk. Or when he’d come back from a particularly hard mission, weary to his bones, his walls finally crumbling as he’d lie upon you —
— he would tell you everything. From his darkest desires, his brightest memories, his dreams, to his nightmares. All filled with you and you and you and you.)
When you make it to his quarters, sectioned off from the rest of the cadets’, you bite your lip and enter hesitantly, hands clenched into trembling fists by your sides, itching to reach out, itching to —
The door falls shut with a click that reverberates through you, bordering on deafening. You nearly miss what comes after.
Nearly.
“Strip.”
There is no teasing in his tone, no hint of endearment that, by now, you know only comes to the surface for you, and only if no one else is around to witness it. His back remains to you, and you are, momentarily, left blinking, stunned at the abruptness of the command.
You do not speak; neither does he.
Time presses you, moving relentlessly, budging when you don’t. It doesn’t stop at his request, nor does it hitch to indulge you. And his patience runs thin.
“Strip,” he repeats, turning to shoot you a withering glare. But his eyes are all wrong. Soft around the edges.
A second of holding his gaze is all it takes for you to lower your own, bottom lip seeking comfort between your teeth. You swallow before peeling back a layer: gear.
Then another, harder to remove than the first: your jacket; followed by your blouse (shredded around the edges, bearing holes in places it never used to, snarling rips running along the seams.)
They slip from your shoulders and pool behind you, the wood below creaking as you take a step forward, tugging your trousers by their cuffs, slipping a finger beneath the waistband before pushing them lower down your legs; boots discarded carelessly to the side.
He hisses at the mess.
When your eyes snap to his at the sound, he looks down between your legs pointedly, thin brow arching until you swallow around the lump in your throat.
(Nothing has to be said; the silence is enough —
— it’s always enough.)
Bending at the knee and dragging air sharply through flared nostrils, you slip your underwear lower down your legs, working quickly with trembling fingers that could likely use a steadying hand (except you are alone, and his remain glued to the wooden railing behind him. Steady. Stable. As reliable as the rhythm with which he rises and falls on the swing of his blade.)
It trails down, following the movements of your hips, spreading open once they curve in the slightest, only to come together and tangle about your ankles.
“Everything,” he mutters, and you stare at the floorboards, toes curling within your socks, fidgeting nervously beneath his steady gaze.
Heat rises on the back of your neck, splotchy, uneven. Lingering until your body curls in an awkward shape — in an attempt to conceal your bits — and you pluck your socks off, followed by your cotton panties.
And —
— you’re bare before him.
(You always are.)
“Come now,” he says gently.
(His eyes, however, burn.)
One small step becomes two, which transition into three, and suddenly, you are halfway there. Five strides until —
“To the tub,” he instructs, barely a whisper; barely anything at all, “before the water gets cold.”
You oblige until you slip into the porcelain of it, its temperature almost perfect as you melt into the water. Floating — drifting — lost to the tides. If the sight is enough to please him, however, Levi does not show it. His demeanour remains much the same: eerily calm, collected. Cautiously removed.
It persists as he strides, unhurried, towards you, grasping a washcloth from the tub’s rim and lathering it with soap. A fragrance so delicate wafts through the air — peony, lavender and a hint of vanilla — a fragrance so him, surrounding and enclosing on you until it threatens to seize your very lungs.
(The smell of death may cling to the backs of your teeth, or perhaps beneath your fingernails, buried too deep to dig out. But his tenderness washes it all away.
Now, you’ve made the water dirty. Filled it with grime.)
“Your arm, soldier.”
You robotically surrender it, offering the limb over the lip of the tub, palm facing up in supplication. In reverence.
His thin lips turn down as he inspects it, turns it over and clicks his tongue upon finding a bruise. Clicks again when he discovers a scratch.
The nudge comes as he soaps the inside of your wrist with soothing circular motions; spreading until it trickles up the valley of your forearm, leaving blossoms of white froth in its path. From the valley it divides into two, branching into streams that run parallel as they part ways around your bicep, clinging to the dips and curves of you.
“How do you feel?” He asks without meeting your gaze, focused, wholly, on massaging the inside of your elbow.
“Tired.”
It’s all you can give.
It’s as honest as it is ambiguous, laden with all the heaviness bearing down on your shoulders, dragging you down to the deepest depths of the waters, swallowing you.
But Levi nods, accepts it.
He brings the washcloth to your neck, following the swooping lines of your collarbones, the undersides of your jaw, its grooves. Your shoulders bear the marks of his touch, soon followed by the plains of your chest.
You’re so focused on watching his movements as he trails the cloth over you — from collarbone to shoulder, shoulder to the valley between your breasts — that you nearly miss what comes next.
“I...I’m glad you’re alright, soldier,” he mutters, a slip so sudden and small.
Like the flush tingeing his cheeks and the way it runs up his neck, or the furrow of his brow and the line between, ever prominent.
“I —” your voice, weak in its own right, nearly dies. Strangled in a web of muted hope. You shake yourself loose of its hold, “thank you, captain.”
The expression he flashes you is one of pain, or perhaps disappointment.
He doesn’t acknowledge your gratitude, only nods and drops his gaze to the nape of your neck, tracing the lines there with his gaze. A touch so soft and wistful it could never leave an imprint, doesn’t even burn.
And yet it does. Your chest feels ablaze, your flesh singed.
And it sears more as he brings the cloth to your face, cleaning your chin carefully, swiping away the flakes of blood from the jut of your cheekbones, beneath the curvature of your nose, the expanse of your eyelids.
This, too, is something intimate, has your heart stuttering and your breath stalling, has your face flaring with the heat only shame can bear, but no less welcoming than the rest of his careful ministrations.
From your forehead to the space behind your ear, an exuberance of bliss settles between your ribs. Latching on with pointed fingers that threaten to rip. It could hardly be called anything less.
You shudder out a long exhale as you relax back against the rim, the pads of his fingers trailing beneath your brows, brushing over your lids, again, and again, and again. Until your skin glides with ease, wet and soapy and clean.
The touch lingers. It lingers.
Until he goes still, and the cloth goes with him.

— isn’t it delicate?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
luke castellan x fem!reader
warnings: a little bit of fighting
summary: how did game night turn into your first kiss with the boy you’ve been crushing on at camp?
a/n: it’s kind of all over the place and i didn’t proofread it so i apologize ahead of time!
Tumblr media
this ain't for the best
across the dim-lit cabin eleven, luke could still spot your twinkling eyes that were attracted to the dice rolling in front of you. the euphonious laughter coming from your lips sounded like music to his ears. how your head slowly tilted backwards before catching your balance and opening your mouth once again.
my reputation's never been worse, so
he thanked the “gods” that your cabin agreed to game night as he was almost begging on his knees to your half-siblings that it was a once-in-a-summer experience and they would miss out.
he wasn’t lying, with the stoll twins creating a game tournament behind the little white lie that hermes cabin was just introducing the newbies to fun sleepovers for bonding and friend making, to keep chiron happy and out of their business.
you must like me for me
lounging around in his cabin, trying to take his mind off of the possibility of your cabin, more importantly, you entering the door, luke was making everyone’s beds. as an annoying chore that all the campers avoided, they dared not to interfere or ask him why he was rapidly fluffing pillows and folding blankets.
we can't make
but as his best friend, chris put a hand on his shoulder and spun him around. “you can calm down y’know. it’s only like—six o’clock only.” he pointed to the clock above the treacherously haunting front door. luke sighed and sat down on one of the beds, running his hands through his dark curls.
any promises now, can we, babe?
“but this was the perfect opportunity!” he suddenly exclaimed but quickly lowered his voice once surrounding campers looked at him.
“perfect opportunity to do what exactly? you’ve talked to her like twice—at a max three if you count her saying hi to you this morning.” chris reminded and sat beside the sulking boy. he yet again put a hand on his shoulder, giving a little reassuring pat.
but you can make me a drink
luke faced his best friend to respond but there was a knock at the door that interrupted him. chris thanked whoever it was, or else he would’ve had to witness luke spiral and start his crazy overthinking. a camper near the door went to go reach for the handle but a loud voice stopped him.
“wait! i-i’ll get it!” luke jumped from his seat, giving chris a scare.
dive bar on the east side, where you at?
he rushed to the door as the startled camper now backed away, obviously not wanting to go against the cabin counselor. before turning the handle, he took a deep breath and slightly adjusted his hair. chris mentally cringed at the sight of his best friend being so nervous, yet it was quite funny.
phone lights up my nightstand in the black
mr. cool guy, head counselor, and ‘best swordsman’ at camp was nervous about whether a cabin accepted his proposal of joining hermes’ cabin for a night of monopoly and poker. yes, possibly hilarious even. stifling a laugh, he watched luke open the door with a resounding sense of false confidence.
around ten to twenty campers of all ages were standing in front of him with pillows, blankets, and snacks in hand. for a moment, he was frozen.
come here, you can meet me in the back
not in fright, he’d seen most of these kids wincing on the ground during sword training or fall of the rock wall mid climb, he was the one teaching and catching them.
he was stunned because you weren’t in sight.
“welcome! you guys can chill and relax, meet your friends, and start on games! luke and i will be there in a bit!” someone announced from behind him, alarming just a little. but he easily recognized the voice of his best friend saving his ass.
dark jeans and your nikes, look at you
the excitedly hyper campers burst into the cabin, amping up the noise a couple levels. while they were coming in, luke was stuck in a trance once more but not cause of jitters or worry but because of you and your mere presence.
oh damn, never seen that color blue
as the campers of your cabin were entering the blaring room, you found luke’s eyes. softening your expression, you smiled at the familiar face.
dazed, luke stood straight until chris nudged his side and returned to attending to the campers as promised. leaving the two of you alone and the lack of luke’s acknowledgement of your existence, you decided to clear the awkward air.
just think of the fun things we could do
(cause i like you)
“hey luke.” maintaining your sweet demeanor, you closed the door behind you from letting in more of the cool summer air into the warm cabin.
this ain't for the best
as if someone snapped their fingers, luke blinked and returned to reality. his chest rose while he took another deep breath to calm himself and returned your smile.
“y/n, you came!” he regretted his choice of words and tone the second it came out of his mouth. gritting his teeth, he swore to let you do most of the talking from now on.
my reputation's never been worse, so
“of course i did! i’m known as the ‘monopoly master’ so you know i just had to come to defend my honor.” you emphasized the ‘had’ but deep down you knew it was a simple yes or no question when your cabin asked if you wanted to go. as cabin counselor, you were supposed to always keep an eye on the campers but it was just one night anyway.
you must like me for me (yeah, i want you)
you debated it in your head, did you really want to leave your cozy bed next to your best friends to play some board games with chaotic and overexcited children who were some of the worst sore losers you’ve ever encountered? no.
we can't make
but before you could refuse, your best friend stepped in. in a sing-songy voice, she added a detail that may have swayed your decision making just an inch.
any promises now, can we, babe?
“hermes cabin is hosting it—aka castellan’s cabin.” she smiled at her comment and crossed her eyes with both eyebrows raised. waiting for your answer, you bit your lip and looked to the floor.
okay, so spending your night with campers full of sugar and crying sore losers but luke castellan possibly sparing you a glance and perhaps maybe even a few words? fine, you’d make an appearance.
but you can make me a drink
now here you were, both of your maybes becoming certainly’s. your words were coming out quickly, way faster than you wanted them to. were you rambling? no. yes. no. definitely.
is it cool that i said all that?
why in the heavens did you just say ‘monopoly master’?! why was he not speaking? was he just being friendly by saying hi? of course he was.
is it chill that you're in my head?
you looked away in search of your friends or anyone at this point to make this conservation a little less awkward. but everyone was already sitting and playing games or conversing with each other. you cursed your head for telling you to come, how did you possibly think that he would talk to yo—
a laugh.
he was laughing with the brightest smile ever, his eyes still remaining on yours though. he had one of those contagious laughs, immediately urging you to join him. you couldn’t help yourself but follow, making the both of you look like two crazy idiots laughing at nothing but air.
'cause i know that it's delicate (delicate)
“well i think we better see if your honor will be challenged later tonight, miss ‘monopoly master’” he replied and gave a light-hearted grin.
you could’ve sworn that your heart just fluttered and there was something flying in your stomach. catching your breath, you walked towards the laid out board games where luke was right on your tail. his footsteps were only inches from yours, wanting to be close to you as possible.
is it cool that i said all that?
now luke was admiring your laugh once again. someone would’ve had to drag him with all their strength out of that cabin before his eyes were peeled off of you.
unbeknownst to you, he had been staring ever since the game had began. opting out of this round, he joined chris’ team mid game but remained quiet the rest of the time.
is it too soon to do this yet?
you couldn’t figure out why he wasn’t speaking. he was usually peppy and very talkative, so you’ve heard and seen, but never really experienced. luke was very popular in every group, with the kids who saw him as a role model, those who saw him as their fearless counselor, and especially the girls who fawned over him and his every move (you).
'cause i know that it's delicate
so why was the socially favored extrovert sitting still, fiddling his thumbs from time to time. keeping your head in the game, you could only look up whenever it was chris’ turn, using it as an excuse to peek at him who was almost like a shadow.
isn’t it, isn't it, isn't it?
with such little lighting, only his facial features were highlighted from the candle next to luke. you didn’t mind though as his sharp nose, faint scar and rare flash of a smile were still in view.
isn’t it?
suddenly there was a furious roar of thunder outside, enough to get your attention. you felt an elbow nudge you to the right, making you turn to face your best friend next to you. she leaned in, making sure no one except you heard her whisper.
“are you gonna to go or just keep drooling and dreaming about your boy?”
isn’t it, isn't it, isn't it?
only your eyes widened, now staring back at your friend, dumbfounded. she gave you a ‘stop making it obvious and go!’ look and you kept your eyes down, on the monopoly board. grabbing the two dice and rolling for your turn, you moved your piece and unfortunately landed on a space that chris occupied.
isn’t it delicate?
you groaned in both not wanting to lose and the inconvenience that the universe continued to hand you. however, chris was everything but disappointed, two seconds away from jumping up and down in excitement. you had somehow avoided getting caught in someone else’s city for about ten turns in a row, but now you were stuck by the person you were actually avoiding.
or at least his team member’s.
third floor on the west side, me and you
paying in full to a happy chris, you didn’t catch luke’s chuckle at your expense. not in a ‘ha ha we’re going to win’ way but because of how upset you truly looked. he thought it was cute how badly you wanted to strangle chris for costing you six-hundred million and potentially the win.
“seems like your winning streak is coming to an end!” chris implied and put his hands together as if he was thanking you.
handsome, you're a mansion with a view
you narrowed your eyes, just adding fuel to the fire of your competitive nature. for gods sake, you were an ares kid. tonight, it sure didn’t seem like it though. with your stumbling introduction and now your downfall in monopoly!
“what is the meaning of this!”
everyone collectively jumped and stopped what they were doing, no matter if it was playing cards, a pillow fight, shoving candies in their mouths, or jumping on the beds. even without turning, the voice was evident in its owner: mr. d.
do the girls back home touch you like i do?
“i want everyone in their cabins now! ares cabin return and go to bed right this instance. i will check to see if you are all there, with the lights off soon.” he demanded in a stern voice, forcing your cabin to rapidly grab their belongings and run out the door, unable to even say their ‘goodbye’s.’
long night with your hands up in my hair
“hermes cabin, i want you all to clean this mess up in no more than an hour. i will also come to check that this place is tidy as earlier and that you are all in bed, sleeping. all of you will receive punishments tomorrow morning at six am in the mess hall. do not be late.” he continued, but the last of words left campers moaning and muttering in defeat.
echoes of your footsteps on the stairs
you were collecting your campers and pushing them towards the exit, about to do the same yourself until chiron interfered.
“not you, ms. y/l/n.”
slowly turning to look up in confusion, he continued. “as head counselor of ares cabin, you know the responsibility you earn with that title, correct?”
stay here, honey, i don't wanna share
putting your head down, you avoided his eye contact but nodded. you caught one of the last campers and told them to do as they were told and you would be back soon.
“mr. castellan, i want to speak to you as well.” he insisted and luke reluctantly made his way next to you. something he would never refuse to.
this ain't for the best
“i’m very disappointed in the both of you. knowing both of you were the head counselors of your cabins, i thought you would do the best in keeping them in order and avoiding such events but i was clearly mistaken. c’mon guys, there are only like five major camp rules!” he explained, putting his fingers to his temples and crossing his eyes.
my reputation's never been worse, so
briefly giving each other glances, you mouthed ‘we’re so screwed’ to luke who seemed very relaxed compared to your tense figure. sure, you’d gotten in trouble maybe once or twice but first of all, that was trouble by yourself which meant not costing your entire cabin punishment and it was very unintentionally, making mr. d let you off the hook since it was your first offense.
you must like me for me (yeah, i want you)
however, those were the only times you had ever been caught. there were countless times where you had secretly broken the rules by sleeping in your other friends’ cabins, entering the forest by yourself, switching your seat during meals, and staying in your cabin past eleven at night. one that you have broken yet again.
in response to your nervousness, luke smirked.
we can't make
‘why the hell are you smiling?’ you mouthed but he looked at mr. d now, quite mischievously if you may add.
“mr. d, we terribly apologize for the inconvenience and we swear to never do this ever again, this will be the first and only time.” luke spoke with such sincerity in his tone. he only prayed that mr. d could not detect his lie of it being his first to host.
any promises now, can we, babe?
“well thank you luke, but you two are stil—”
“we are so sorry that we thought it would be best if we made it up to you. perhaps that bottle of 1985 château haut-brion in the galley that has been calling your name ever since it arrived?” luke swiftly suggested, eyebrows raised in persuasion.
but you can make me a drink
mr. d stood invested in luke every word, deeply interested in his statement. he took a breath, almost coming to a realization that luke was trying to bribe him but then he put his index finger to his finger, actually thinking about the offer.
is it cool that i said all that?
you were shocked, in the least. luke castellan was not only a troublemaker and a liar but a hell of a good one. in any of other circumstance, you would be hesitant about bringing up such a suggestion to mr. d but if it meant no punishment for you or luke then you were all for it.
is it chill that you're in my head?
“mr. d, when was the last time you’ve had wine? c’mon you and i both know that diet coke won’t cut it for tonight, i mean it’s friday night!” you stepped in and added in on the coercion.
following your voice, mr. d’s head whipped to face you, definitely tipping the scale towards a ‘yes’ now. luke watched proud at you chasing his suggestion, now with full confidence in his chest.
'cause i know that it's delicate (delicate)
“are two seriously saying that you guys would go down to the galley…get that merlot…and bring it back here to me…?” he repeated and narrowed his eyes.
for a second, you guys were back into your frozen positions until mr. d responded to himself. “cause if you guys are going to do that, then we can just forget about all this.” he admitted, sort of laughing at the mess around the cabin.
is it cool that i said all that?
after agreeing to your end of the bargain, mr. d had let you both off the hook. by the time everything was settled, the campers had finished cleaning up and everyone was ready for bed. therefore, in order to not disturb them, the two of you took a moment outside before you had to run back to ares cabin.
is it too soon to do this yet?
the cabin luckily had an overhead covering near the front door, creating a safety net for you two from the rain. it was raining heavy, yet it wasn’t cold and the summer air still remained. it always rained on the first week of august, like a set reminder to the campers that time was slipping away.
'cause i know that it's delicate
both of you were already slightly drenched from running to the galley and back but using the trees and several camp buildings on the way, you managed to stay quite dry. you couldn’t say the same for luke though, he shook his wet hair to dry off, in search and need of a towel.
“jesus—you’re acting like a wet dog.” you commented and kept moving your head to dodge the water droplets flicking in your direction. trying to maintain a straight face, you kept a tight-lipped smile but laughs slipped from your lips.
isn’t it, isn't it, isn't it?
“why you don’t like it? you’re getting a free shower right now, i think you should be grateful!”
his sarcasm was abundant and stepped closer to you while matching your laughter. you backed up into the outer cabin wall, as he continued to approach until he was only inches away from your face. even with the rain surrounding the pair, you could hear his breathing after his laughs.
isn’t it?
he stayed with a smile on his face, such admiration found in his eyes while staring at you. automatically there was a tug on the corners of your lips, a genuine smile creeping onto your face. he gently moved a strand of hair out of your face, placing it behind your ear.
isn’t it, isn't it, isn't it?
you stayed put, reaching out to the wall supporting your weight. your heart sped up as he got closer, feeling his body heat on yours. you parted your lips to speak but he beat you to it.
“you’re beautiful.”
isn’t it delicate?
his words melted into you, the only warmth in the middle of the rain. you blinked three times before confirming that this was reality, it wasn’t a dream or a fantasy, it was real.
luke castellan had just called you beautiful. the man you were crushing over since he’d pinned you on the ground in capture the flag last year.
sometimes i wonder, when you sleep
no one had ever dared to come near you, too much in fear how old easily you could defeat them. but luke liked a challenge, thus he went straight for it and ignored the rest of plan. something he would definitely pay for later by a pissed annabeth.
he found you in the middle of the forest, the closest person to guarding your team’s flag. he had battled a couple of rouge kids on the way, effortlessly blocking and knocking them down.
are you ever dreaming of me?
he took pride in his swordsmanship and ability to fight, when he first arrived, all he would do was train and practice, day and night.
all of it paid off though in the end, earning the title of ‘best swordsman at camp’ and being quite the deal when it came to activities like capture the flag. however, campers still came at luke, sword in hand. while you were all alone, the only thing accompanying you being the geckos that slithered in the area.
sometimes when i look into your eyes
as a child of ares, you most definitely had a temper, but otherwise you were known to be one of the more ‘composed’ siblings unlike clarisse who would fight a bug that got in her way. you stood out because of your swordsman skills though, climbing up the ranking until you were right below luke.
on the day of capture the flag, you swore that you would beat him and then steal the title he so proudly wore. but when he did arrive to your position near the flag, he didn’t cower in fear or come straight charging at you.
i pretend you're mine all the damn time
instead he casually walked towards you, sword in hand of course but he didn’t even hold it up. he held it like some sort of an accessory, as if he’d never held one before. almost excited to see a person after hours of waiting though, you instantly jumped at the opportunity, discarding his relaxed posture.
is it cool that i said all that?
gripping your sword, you charged first, something you usually did not do but the greed in achieving the title made you think otherwise. he bested you though, eventually proving himself to you why he was known as the ‘best swordsman at camp.’ he ran off with the flag while you were left with a gash on your right arm.
is it chill that you're in my head?
even though after his team won the game and luke had beat you at your most respected trait, he immediately approached you afterwards. this time, he wasn’t holding a sword or wearing armor but just his camp shirt and cheery demeanor. you could’ve bet that it wasn’t him and a completely different camper.
“hey, i’m really sorry about what happened back there. is your arm okay?” he asked, now with worry in his voice like he was one of your close friends or half-siblings.
'cause i know that it's delicate (delicate)
you looked at him weird, confused at the sudden switch-up in his actions. “y-yeah i’m fine.” you responded and looked to join your half-siblings in plotting some devious revenge or something.
but he grabbed your wrist, making sure to not hold the wrong arm. “are you sure? i can walk you to the nurse if you want?” he insisted and pointed to the infirmary that was just down the path.
(yeah, i want you)
“seriously i’m fine.” you continued. it wasn’t like you hated the guy but for someone who just swung a sword at your face and cut your arm, he was surprisingly considerate.
“oh—okay. you were really good out there, i’ve never met anyone else at camp who had their sword so close to my neck.” he joked, attempting to clear the seriously awkward air.
is it cool that i said all that?
you have him a half smile, trying to take his off in lightening the mood. “thanks, i can clearly see why you’re the ‘best swordsman at camp.’” to which he lightly chuckled.
“yeah yeah, but i think you might take that title from me next time!” he mentioned. you couldn’t even tell if he was being sarcastic or not, too distracted with his charming smile.
is it too soon to do this yet?
after that day, luke castellan had been stuck in your mind. you’d see him in the mess hall during meals and passing on campus with his friends, but you never got the courage to talk to him again like you did after capture the flag. maybe it was because you were so annoyed and he just happened to be the first person you ran into! whatever it was, you couldn’t stop thinking about him. no matter what.
'cause i know that it's delicate (delicate)
under similar circumstances, luke watched you quickly dismiss his offer of accompanying you to the nurse and walk off to join the ares kids. you looked back once, probably to see if he was watching you or not and he easily got caught, his eyes lingering. once being noticed, the ares kids started laughing but so did you.
is it cool that i said all that? (isn’t it?)
even though they were clearly laughing at him, for once he didn’t mind it. he couldn’t even see the other kids as you were the only one in view. your hair swaying in the wind as your head moved back and forth. your laugh was sweet, putting a smile on his face as it continued.
is it chill that you're in my head? (isn’t it, isn't it?)
afterwards, he found his eyes attracted to you. if you were at the arts and crafts table or in the archery range, he wasn’t focused on the task at hand or his campers asking a million questions.
he would use his head counselor advantages to sneak glances at you across the field from time to time. pretending to look for a ‘missing’ camper or informing his friends that he thought there was a rare bird sighting, his gaze fixated on you.
'cause i know that it's delicate (isn't it delicate?)
your eyes twinkled in the faded moonlight, water drops laying on your eyelashes. luke’s damp hair aided his curls, his fresh scent seeping through the rain. he reached for your waist as you went for his shoulder, closing the gap between you two.
shutting your eyes, you went for it.
your whispered, unsteady breath indicated your nervousness but it was now or never. luke’s arms curled around your waist, pulling you in completely until your lips met. your hands unconsciously wrapped around his neck, embracing the kiss.
(yeah, i want you)
if you both weren’t holding onto each other, your knees may have buckled right then and there. luke’s chest was pounding, almost loud enough to hear but was too invested in how the other tasted. his lips were soft, a delicate touch that matched his behavior. even with luke’s certainly intimidating figure, he was always sweet and made sure to show his caring abilities towards campers. this was the first time that you felt it firsthand.
is it cool that I said all that? (isn’t it?)
he could tell you were hesitant at first, suddenly pulling slightly away in the beginning but becoming familiar with the feeling. a fire was lit in the pit of your stomach, signaling you to continue. luke could feel it too, your body reaching for his.
now breathless, both of you pulled back, still your hands remaining where they were. his eyes were wide as if you had opened a new world to him. you couldn’t help it but swallow, waiting for him to break the silence.
is it too soon to do this yet? (isn’t it, isn't it?)
“i like you. a lot.”
a little startled, you were left speechless but after observing his worried expression, you had to let him know you felt the same.
“i do too—like you a lot. if you couldn’t tell.” you joked and smiled at him.
'cause i know that it's delicate
that was when he realized he needed this girl. he couldn’t bear to see her smile or laugh with someone else. he wouldn’t let it happen, because his heart was yearning for her. and her only.
a similar grin crept up his face, making you understand why you wanted him so much. his alluring smile had gotten you again, whisking you away from your deepened emotions and warming your heart.
isn’t it delicate?
there was only one possible question you could ask now:
“can i kiss you again?”

18+ under the cut!
Sundays at home were the best. And they were even better when your boyfriend was at home and not somewhere out on tour.
Joosts head was resting on your chest, his arms wrapped tightly around your torso as you listened to his slow, steady breathing.
It was still very early, the sounds of birds chirping outside and the soft tapping of the rain against the window had a calming effect on you.
Giving up on sleep, you turn to grab your phone and open TikTok. Turning the volume down, so you wouldn’t wake your sleeping boyfriend, you start to scroll through your For-You-Page.
Liking some trends people were doing and watching tons of those little John videos with his galvanized steel wood veneers, you soon got bored.
Just as you scrolled again, you thought it was just a simple edit of some actor you liked, your eyes widened.
That wasn’t some actor. It was your boyfriend who was flashing before your eyes on your phone screen. And he looked absolutely stunning.
Biting your lip softly you clicked the little save button in the corner before watching the edit a few times more.
Joost was stirring on your chest slightly, opening his eyes slowly. As he looked up at you they were still heavy with sleep.
A soft sigh escaped your lips. “Didn’t mean to wake you sorry.”
Shaking his head he softly looked up at you. “You didn’t m’en meisje (My girl).”
The nickname made you smile. You loved when he talked Dutch.
“Good.” Leaning forward you pressed a soft kiss against his lips. “Let’s take a shower.”
Getting out of bed you watched him stretch and pulling the covers off himself. He was only wearing some boxers to bed and they didn’t leave much to the imagination.
“Wanna take a picture?” He grinned as he got up. Snapping out of your daydream you rolled your eyes. “I don’t need a picture. Having you home is enough for me right now.” A soft smile played around your lips as you wrapped your arms around his middle looking up.
His arms wrapped around you, finding the small of your back and pulling you slightly closer into a loving hug. “Ik hou van jou (I love you).” He whispered in your ear, sending shivers down your spine.
Being with him for quite some time now, you understood some Dutch. Not everything, you still needed some help and practice. But hearing that sentence almost everyday, you knew what he said.
“I love you too.”
He pressed a kiss to your temple before pulling away. Taking your hand he pulled you into the bathroom, closing the door behind you.
Few moments later both of you were naked and standing under warm flow of the water. A few kisses were shared every now and then.
You were just so happy Joost was home again.
Tumblr media
Later that day, Joost was running some errands, you cuddled up onto the couch and opened TikTok again. That fucking edit didn’t leave your head the whole day. Clicking on your saved videos you clicked on the one you saved.
Groaning you closed your phone and covered your face with your hands. Starring at the ceiling for what felt like hours your hand slowly found its way down your body.
You could already feel yourself getting wet.
Soon enough your fingers brushed over your already soaked panties. The thought of Joost touching you made you moan softly as you pushed the fabric out of the way.
Imagining it were his fingers circling your clit you arched into your touch, your other hand finding your throat, squeezing it softly.
Being so lost in your own pleasure you didn’t notice the door open.
Leaning against the wall Joost watched your fingers pump in and out of your pretty little pussy, grinning to himself. His jeans instantly tightening.
“Enjoying yourself I see?”
You insanely froze in your position on the couch, eyes widening in shock as you looked into your boyfriend’s blue eyes which were clouded with lust.
“I-“ Your throat suddenly felt very dry.
Closing your legs you were quick to get up. As you tried to walk past him he held you back by your arm.
Leaning down he kissed just right under your ear. “I want you to get naked and wait for me on the bed, got it?”
A gulp and a nod. “J-ja (Yes).”
You had no idea what would happen next but you did as you were told. Walking into your shared bedroom you were quick to take off all your clothes. Sitting on the edge, you waited for Joost.
After 5 minutes or so he finally walked in, eyeing your naked figure up and down. “Schitterend (Stunning).” He mumbled.
Blushing you looked down at your hands. As you heard his belt snapping open you looked up again and there he stood butt naked and absolutely ravishing.
“Open your mouth.” He whispered and grabbed your jaw softly. “Wanna feel your pretty lips around me.”
With a desperate whine you did as you were told. Holding your head in place Joost softly pushed himself in the wet and waiting warmth of your mouth, groaning in the process. “Fuck that’s my good girl. Making me feel so good.”
You could basically feel your pussy dripping with need at his words. Looking up at him through your lashes you wrapped one hand around his shaft and started to bop your head up and down his length, working the rest that didn’t fit with your hand.
Eyes watering your gaze met his. He softly pulled you off his hard dick. “Lay on your back. Need to fuck that pussy now.”
“Fuck yes please I need you so bad!” You whined as you laid down. In no time he was on top of you, teasing your entrance with his tip.
Wrapping your arms around his neck you looked deeply into his eyes. “Ik hou van jou (I love you).” You whispered and brushed some hair out of his eyes.
Leaning down he captured your lips into a sweet and passionate kiss before pushing himself all the way inside you, making you moan into the kiss.
Pulling away, Joost started to kiss down your jaw while fucking inside of you. His hands found your breast, pinching your pebbled nipples and making you arch more into his touch.
Grinning against your skin his hand wandered further down your body, rubbing right circles on your swollen clit.
“Look at mijn mooi meisje (My beautiful girl).” Joost whispered. “So good for me. So close.”
Your foggy mind couldn’t really comprehend what he just said so you just nodded, a soft “close” coming across your lips.
Your boyfriend gave you a cheeky grin. “Cum mijn hart (my heart).”
That’s was all it took for you to come undone unter him. Squeezing his cock tight, as your slick coated it.
His thrusts got slower as his hips stuttered. “Fuck, here it comes.” He said releasing everything he had, painting your walls with his cum.
A warmth spread across through your abdomen, making you shiver.
Giving you another kiss he pulled out of you, making you whimper at the loss of contact.
Laying down beside you he pulled the covers over you, pulling you into his side.
“That was amazing.” You said and looked up at him. “I missed you.”
Joost smiled down at you. “I missed you too.”
Pressing a small kiss to his chest, he takes your left hand in his, playing with your fingers.
“Jij bent de liefde van mijn leven.”
Your head turned to look at him. “What does that mean?”
Kissing the tips of your fingers Joost gaze softened. “It means you are the love of my life.”
“Really?” Your cheeks flushed. He gave you a nod.
“Oh and you reposted that video by the way. I saw it on TikTok.”

“Yo!”
A gruff voice suddenly called out to you, freezing you in place. A cold sweat dripped down your forehead as your [e/c] eyes darted around—frantically trying to find the owner of the voice.
“Above you…” The voice jargoned sinisterly, a toothy grin appearing on its face as your eyes finally locked onto the mysterious entity.
There he sat, confidently resting upon a shoddy balcony against the wall. His gray skin was tinged with red markings, (much reminiscent of your own skin), and his head was wrapped with bloody bandages. By his side rested a large machete, which was currently dripping with a liquid you had no desire of knowing.
A shiver went through your spine as your body instinctively entered flight mode. Even without Mr. Crawling you could tell that this room was unsafe. That entity looked violent, and if you didn’t get out of here now—there was a high chance that he would kill you.
‘He can’t possibly see me with all those bandages…’ You thought to yourself, slowly reaching your arm behind you for the door handle as your eyes stayed trained upon him. ‘Let’s just try to get out of here—’
“Oi…” The mysterious entity’s voice takes on a more commanding tone as his mood begins to sour.
“Me not give permission leave.” The entity starts to rise, his arm reaching for his weapon. Meanwhile, you hurriedly turn the doorknob, a curse rising in your throat as you realize that the door is jammed.
“You leave…” The entity points his machete at you, a wickedly deranged look appearing on his face. “Me kill you!”
Without a second thought you darted forward, sprinting for the door on the other side of the room.
As you ran, your footsteps echoed against the cracked concerte floors. Behind you, the sounds of shuffling could be heard, along with the screech of metal scraping agaisnt concrete, the rustle of fabric, a jump, and a landing, sending vibrations through the ground.
Panic clawed at your chest, urging you to turn left, so you do—twisting your body just in time.
The air hissed as a machete sliced past you, its edge glistening in the faint light. Time seemed to slow as you watched it carve a deadly path through the air. It buried itself into the wooden door ahead with a sickening crack, the force splintering the wood and sending shards flying.
‘Just a moment later and that could have been me…’ You gulped, feeling your heart beat faster at the realization. But, he was now disarmed, giving you the perfect chance to stun him and run away.
Your body entered fight mode as you turned to face the entity. You raised your hand, fingers crackling with energy that shimmered and flickered like embers in a dying fire.
The entity looked at you, showing a brief moment of uncertainty before lunging at you. It was then your palm ignited in a blaze of destructive power, energy pulsing outwards towards the entity.
Dust and debris flew into the air, obscuring your view of the entity. You used the chance to open the door and escape, bolting down a long hallway.
Unfortunately, your moment of victory was short-lived. The door behind you crashed open and the entity’s heavy footsteps followed. They were faster, heavier and closing the gap with alarming speed.
The hallway seemed to stretch on forever. Your muscles screamed in protest, not use to this level of physical exertion, but you didn’t dare look back. You could feel him gaining, the air between you shrinking.
And then—
A hand grabbed you, missing by a few inches. The sudden jolt made you stumble, and that split second is all he needed.
Pain erupted in your lower stomach, sharp and all-consuming. You choked out a gasp as the machete’s blade pierced through your lower stomach. The force of the strike sent you sprawling forward, collapsing to your knees.
You clutched at the wound, hot blood pooling between your fingers and soaking your clothes. The world tilted, vision blurring as your heartbeat thundered in your ears.
Behind you, his heavy breathing filled the space. You didn’t need to turn around to know he was there, towering over you like a predator over his prey.
“You dead?” He asked gruffly, stabbing his machete onto the ground in front of you before crouching down. Although his eyes were covered, you could tell that he was examining you. Was it to see if you still had fight in you? Or maybe he was deciding how to deliver the finishing blow?
Your trembling fingers curled against the floor, lifting yourself in an attempt to attack him again with your power—but the searing pain in your lower torso was too much, so you crumbled back onto the floor.
“Tch…” An annoyed sound left the entity’s mouth before he roughly grabbed your arm and pushed you against the wall. You grimaced as your vision focused on the man in front of you. He appeared…angry for some strange reason.
“You not fight me.” He grumbled, his hand trailing down your body towards your wound. You flinched slightly. “You disappoint me.”
Before you could react, his hand slammed against your wound, fingers pressing cruelly into the torn flesh. A strangled cry escaped your lips as his weight bore down, forcing more blood to gush out, hot and sticky against your hands.
“S-stop—desire you s-stop…” You grunt out, struggling to formulate words that he would understand. At this rate, your wound would be infected, and you’ve already lost so much blood. Was there any way you could survive this?
The entity quirked his head to the side, his lip twitching upward slightly at the despair on your face. “You understand language?”
When you didn’t respond his grip deepened, every press deliberate, each second dragging out your pain.
You gasped for air, your body shaking violently as you tried to push him away. But it was useless, your strength draining from you at rapid speed.
Tears welled up slowly, blurring the edges of your vision until the world became a blurred haze. Thick globs of water clung to your lashes, trembling with the weight of emotions too heavy to hold back.
Suddenly you felt hot liquid against your cheek, causing your eyes to shoot open. It was the strange machete man, whose bloodied fingers carefully wiped away the tears that streaked down your face.
You took on a confused expression. ‘Was he…drying my tears? Why does he look like he’s enjoying it…?’ You shook your head, dismissing the thought. This must be your body hallucinating due to blood loss.
“Me touch you here…” The machete man hovered over your open wound. “You cry?”
He looked at you with expectation, a concerning grin stretching across his face.
It took all of your strength, but you managed to cough out a short: “You touch me here again…me kill you.”
The grin on his face widened as something akin to a laugh left his lips. “You enjoyable! Me interested in you!”
He tightened his grip on your torso and hurled you up, tucking you underneath his arm. With his other hand you grabbed his machete, dragging the heavy weapon behind him with a deafening screech.
You were too weak to fight against it, so you allowed him to carry you. But you wondered, what would he do with you? And did he know a way to heal you?
These questions would be left unanswered as your vision slowly faded to black.

──────────── ☾ ────────────
Another day of trying to fend off the Marauders with a fucking stick. You weren’t known for being particularly warm to anyone, let alone to the three boys who terrorized your house-mates daily, even though you always seemed to escape their pranks untouched. Unfortunately, your cold demeanor never deterred them from trying to charm you. Each of them, in their own way, had attempted to catch your attention, only to find your wit and icy demeanor an insurmountable wall. Every attempt was more vexing than the last, and you were growing more perturbed by the sight of them every day. It did, however, brighten your day a little, in some sick way, seeing their faces when you turned them down.
James was the first to try. Armed with his trademark confidence and lopsided grin, he cornered you outside the Potions classroom one afternoon, leaning casually against the doorframe.
“Hey angel,” he greeted, running a hand through his perpetually messy hair. “Fancy seeing you here.”
“We have class together, Potter,” you replied flatly, brushing past him and into the classroom.
Unbothered, he followed you, sliding into the seat next to yours despite the scowl you shot his way. “You know, I’ve been thinking…”
“That sounds dangerous.”
He laughed, undeterred by the jab you threw at him. “You’re funny. I like that. So, how about this—you, me, Remus, Sirius, a butterbeer in Hogsmeade this weekend?”
You didn’t even look up from your parchment. “I’d rather spend the weekend brewing Bubotuber pus.”
“Come on,” he said, leaning closer. “You’ll be missing out on the best date of your life.”
You leaned away automatically before finally meeting his gaze, your expression blank. “And you’ll be missing out on your dignity if you don’t leave me alone.”
James blinked, momentarily stunned, before letting out a bark of laughter. “Alright, angel. I like a challenge.”
“Good,” you said, turning back to your work. “Because you’re not getting anything else.”
He nodded with brows raised, “I’m aware.”
You spent the rest of class dodging his looks and ignoring his sickeningly sweet comments, gathering your books and hurrying out as soon as class was over, successfully avoiding any more hopeless persuading from James.
Sirius Black was the next to suffer. He prided himself on his charm. He’d never met a girl he couldn’t win over—until you.
It started in the library, where you were seated alone at a table, engrossed in a particularly dense-looking book. Sirius slid into the seat across from you, his signature smirk firmly in place.
“Hey there, gorgeous,” he drawled, propping his chin on his hand.
You rolled your eyes internally and didn’t look up. “Black.”
“Studying hard, I see. Not that you need to. I bet you’re brilliant at everything.”
“Flattery won’t get you anywhere,” you said, turning a page.
He grinned. “I’ve got other tricks up my sleeve.”
“I doubt that.”
His smirk faltered for a split second, but he recovered quickly. “Alright, love. What would it take to get you to have dinner with me?”
“An entirely different personality,” you said, still not looking up. You knew that statement was mostly true, or maybe, deep down, you were trying to convince yourself more than him.
He let out an exaggerated gasp. “You wound me.”
“Not yet,” you muttered, scribbling something in the margins of your book.
Sirius leaned back in his chair, clearly torn between frustration and amusement. “You’re playing hard to get.”
“No,” you said, finally meeting his eyes with a deadpan expression. “Try impossible.”
For once, Sirius had no response. He dragged in a breath, knowing he was losing momentum the longer he stayed silent. He sided with giving the table a quick tap as he got up and reluctantly walked away, mentally kicking himself for being off his game.
Remus Lupin was the final victim. He was subtler in his approach. He wasn’t one for grand gestures or flashy lines; instead, he opted for quiet conversation and shared study sessions. You were virtually looking over your shoulder every five seconds, knowing he would be trying his hand with you at some point. You avoided all three boys as much as you could, turning heel and leaving if you saw them coming your way in the corridor or entering the room you were in. Of course, your luck ran out.
He found you in the greenhouse one afternoon, tending to a particularly finicky Venomous Tentacula.
“Need a hand?” he offered, stepping carefully around the plant, his hands in his pockets.
You glanced at him, brow raised. “Not from you,” You paused, taking in the calm air around him, and against your better judgement, spoke again. “What would you know about Venomous Tentaculas?”
“Not much, but enough to know not to touch it,” he said with a small smile.
Your lips twitched, but you didn’t smile back. “I’m fine, thanks.”
He leaned against the workbench, watching you carefully prune the plant. “You’re good at this.”
“Obviously.” You kept an eye on him out of your peripherals, apprehensive, surprised he wasn’t trying to get in a spare word wherever he can, like James and Sirius did.
He chuckled softly. “I was being polite.”
“Well, don’t,” you said, setting down your shears and brushing dirt off your hands, turning to face him. “It’s unnecessary.”
Remus hesitated, then said, “You know, you don’t have to be so guarded all the time.”
Your eyes narrowed. “And you don’t have to waste your time trying to psychoanalyze me.”
“I wasn’t—”
“Yes, you were,” you scoffed, cutting him off. “And for the record, I don’t need your pity or your approval. So, if you’re done, I have actual work to do.”
Remus sighed, pushing off the workbench. “Alright, dove. I’ll leave you to it.”
And there’s another dreaded pet name. “Good idea.”
As he walked away, he glanced back over his shoulder. You were already focused on the plant again, seeming as if he hadn’t been there at all. When you heard the door shut behind Remus as he left, you let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding. He was the most tolerable out of the three, giving you space when you asked for it, leaving when you wanted. He was calmer than the others, a quality you appreciated. You shake the thought out of your head and pick up the shears once more.
The boys reconvened in the Gryffindor common room that evening, nursing their bruised egos.
“She’s impossible,” James declared, flopping onto the couch.
“Completely heartless,” Sirius agreed, though his tone was more impressed than frustrated.
“I told you,” Remus said calmly, sipping his tea. “She’s not interested.”
James sat up, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “Or maybe… she just doesn’t know us well enough yet.”
Sirius grinned. “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”
Remus sighed. “This can’t possibly end well.”
But he didn’t stop them from planning their next move.
Within two weeks, their plan was in motion. The three boys were so dedicated that they spared time out of their precious weekend and stayed after Potions one day, ambushing Slughorn. Somehow, pretty easily in fact, they managed to convince him to make the four of you partners for the new project. Sirius put it under the guise of needing your “brilliant brain and knowledge” because he and James were “trying to be better students”. As if.
The next week, Slughorn announced the groups for the project. You sighed and narrowed your eyes at the three boys, knowing that somehow, this was their doing. If it was one thing, they were persistent. If only they put that effort into their schoolwork. You hoped you could just get this over with as soon as possible, you would even do all the work yourself to avoid being stuck in a room with them. You hurried out of class that day, annoyed. You shoved through the boys as they had tried to make their way to you as soon as you were dismissed.
You sat at your usual spot in the library, a fortress of books surrounding you, quill scratching furiously across parchment, trying to possibly finish the project without having any contact with the three menaces seated across the library. You could hear them whispering just a few tables away, their presence proving to be an irritating hum in the back of your mind. Sirius laughed, low and rich, and you refused to look up.
“Hey, angel,” James called, sliding into the seat across from you. You resisted the urge to roll your eyes and instead flipped the page of your textbook. “Since we’re all partners for the Potions project, we thought we’d… collaborate.”
“I don’t recall asking for collaboration,” you replied dryly, not sparing him a glance.
“That’s the thing about group projects,” Sirius chimed in, plopping into the chair beside you, a roguish grin plastered on his face. “It doesn’t require your approval.”
You raised a brow, scooting your chair away from him slightly. “I didn’t realize Gryffindors believed in forcing unwilling participants into things. Aren’t you supposed to be noble or something?”
Remus, the most tolerable of the trio, slid into the seat on your other side, carrying a stack of books. “You’re right, dove,” he said smoothly, voice calm and measured. “But unfortunately for you, Slughorn paired us up.”
Your jaw clenched. Sluggy and his infuriating belief in “Inter-House unity.”
“Fine,” you said sharply. “But don’t expect me to do all the work while you three mess around.” In truth, you were happy to do all the work if it meant you could escape this conversation.
“We wouldn’t dream of it,” James said, eyes sparkling behind his glasses.
The next evening, you found yourself in the Gryffindor dormitory, an unfamiliar space that smelled of old parchment, broom polish, faintly of Sirius’ cologne, and something you can only describe as teenage boys. You had practically begged to meet anywhere else, their dormitory being the last place you wanted to end up. Coincidentally, every option you came up with seemed to be taken. Your dorm-mates were using your dorm for their own projects, and were firm on their stance of “no boys, especially not those ones.” The library had a suspiciously timed incident of smoke bombs exploding, and all the students had to vacate until it was aired out. It had Marauders written all over it. Your house-mates would rather die than have three Gryffindors in their common room, so you didn’t even suggest it. As a last resort, you tried to coax them into working in their common room, but, once again, the answer was no. The rest of their in-house friend group decided to work right in front of the fireplace. The girl who introduced herself as Marlene definitely had a glint in her eyes, as if she was in on it. You just couldn’t win.
Reluctantly, you followed them up the stairs to work in their dorm. The room was, oddly enough, exactly what you expected. The space that was tidy with stacks of books on the floor next to the bed had to belong to Remus. Fitting. James’ and Sirius’ beds seemed to blend together, the only telling factors being the Quidditch posters by James’ bed and the record player and band posters by Sirius’. Also fitting. You knew most of the bands on Sirius’ posters. Surprised, you shook your head slightly. You couldn’t have anything in common with these boys, could you? The fourth bed, which you learned belonged to Peter, one of the boys in the group holed up in the common room, was a mix of tidy and messy, with a half-played game of chess sitting on the blanket.
There were clothes strewn on the floor between James’ and Sirius’ beds, both of the boys scrambling to pick them up and throw them out of sight as you walked in. They looked at you like they hoped you hadn’t seen it. You had. Remus scoffed a chuckle, which you somewhat appreciated, but didn’t let it show.
Now here you were, perched awkwardly on the edge of Remus’ bed, the cleanest place in the room, with your arms crossed, as the boys arranged their notes across the floor. The Gryffindor dormitory felt strangely foreign to you, with its warm tones and cozy chaos. It was nothing like the pristine coldness of the Slytherin common room, where everything was sharp edges and muted colors. Here, the atmosphere was alive, buzzing with an energy you couldn’t entirely place—and didn’t trust.
“So,” Sirius began, lounging on a pillow in his usual carefree manner, “any brilliant ideas, gorgeous?”
“I have several,” you replied, not acknowledging the irksome pet name, “but I doubt you’d appreciate the brilliance.”
James smirked. “Why so cold, angel? We’re charming, aren’t we?”
You snorted. “You’re persistent. That’s not the same thing.”
Sirius grinned, leaning forward. “I bet we’ll grow on you.”
You ignored him, focusing instead on the pile of notes on the bed in front of you. That was, until Sirius got up and began rifling through a stack of records near his bed. You rolled your eyes.
This was supposed to be about the project.
At least, that’s what you told yourself when you agreed to meet them here instead of putting your foot down and insisting on the library or another neutral space, or perhaps even working together on another day entirely. But you weren't naive—you knew better. The Marauders had been relentless in their attempts to worm their way into your life, and you had been equally relentless in shutting them down.
“You know,” James said, glancing up from his notes with an infuriating grin, “it’s not every day we let a Slytherin into our sacred quarters.”
Sirius spoke over his shoulder as he searched through the records. “Even Regulus hasn’t seen it.” You glance at Remus as he tries to catch your attention.
He mouthed, “His brother.” to you. You roll your eyes and mouth back, “I know that. House-mates, remember?”
James responded to Sirius aloud, “...Right, yeah.” You narrowed your eyes slightly, knowing his response was suspicious, but not pushing further. None of your business.
“Oh, I’m honored,” you replied to James’ initial comment, deadpanned.
Remus shot James a look. “Don’t mind him. He’s been insufferable since he got that Outstanding in Charms.”
“Not insufferable,” James protested, recovering and tossing a quill at Remus. “Confident.”
“Arrogant.” You corrected without missing a beat.
James clutched his chest as if you’d wounded him. “You wound me, love.”
“No,” you said, inspecting your nails. “But I’m considering it.”
From the corner of the room, Sirius laughed, his voice rich and warm. “I like her. She’s got bite.”
“Wouldn’t you like to know, Black?,” you muttered, side-eyeing him as he turned around with a record in hand. You immediately kicked yourself mentally for saying something that could be misconstrued as flirting.
Sirius’ eyes lit up. “In fact I would, doll. You offering?” Sirius said, flashing you a grin. You rolled your eyes, your silence being response enough. He took the record out of its sleeve.
“What are you doing?” you asked, brow furrowing.
“Setting the mood,” he said with a wink, sliding the record onto the turntable. Moments later, the opening notes of a familiar song filled the room. The unmistakable opening notes of Under Pressure by Queen and David Bowie graced your ears.
Your quill paused mid-sentence.
You didn’t mean to react, but the music stirred something in you—an instinctive recognition, a fondness you couldn’t quite mask. Maybe you could have something in common with them after all. Your lips twitched, just barely, and though you fought to remain impassive, your lips began to move slightly to mouth the words of the song. Anyone looking would probably just assume you were just talking to yourself to figure out your assignment. Unfortunately, you had no such luck.
Remus was watching you from his place on the floor, leaning against Sirius’ bed. A small smirk formed on his face as you continued reading a Potions book, still mouthing the words to the song. He scoffed a small chuckle and shook his head, not having expected you, of all people, to listen to Queen or Bowie.
The small noise caught Sirius’ attention and his eyes flicked to Remus. He followed his gaze to you, and he caught it immediately. His dark eyes lit up like fireworks. “Wait a minute.”
You looked at him sharply. “What?”
“You like Queen,” he said, his voice brimming with something close to awe.
“It’s just a song,” you replied, tone clipped, feigning indifference, but the words didn’t carry much weight.
James and Remus exchanged a glance, both clearly intrigued.
“Oh, no, no, no,” Sirius said, practically bounding over to you, his excitement spilling over. “This isn’t ‘just a song.’ This is Queen. This is brilliance. This is art. And you, my darling—” he pointed at you dramatically, “—you know it.”
You opened your mouth to retort, but before you could, Sirius flopped onto the bed beside you, far too close for comfort. Remus chided him for messing up his blanket, a scold he hadn’t extended to you when you sat down. You leaned away from Sirius slightly, but made no effort to actually move.
“Admit it,” he said, leaning in with a conspiratorial grin. “You’ve got good taste.”
Your lips twitched again, and this time you couldn’t quite stop the ghost of a smile from appearing. “You’re ridiculous.”
“And you’re avoiding the question,” he shot back, his grin widening.
“It’s just a song,” you said stiffly, though your body language had betrayed you.
“No, no, this is monumental,” Sirius declared, rolling dramatically onto his side and throwing his arms in the air. “I knew you had taste!”
Remus took this as an opportunity to chime in. “Queen’s one of his favorite bands.”
“They’re the best band,” Sirius corrected. “And now I know you have some semblance of a soul.”
You rolled your eyes, but didn’t pull away when Sirius leaned closer, his energy almost contagious. “Don’t get ahead of yourself, Black,” you said, but your lips twitched upward ever so slightly.
James, not one to miss an opportunity, tossed you another question. “Alright, love. What’s your favorite Queen song?”
You gave him a deadpan look. “I’m not playing your little games, Potter.”
“Fine.” he looked away for a moment, before turning back with a hopeful smile. “Queen or Bowie?”
Remus, ever the observant one, chimed in gently after a moment. “It’s alright, you know. You can like Queen and still pretend you don’t tolerate us.”
You rolled your eyes but didn’t deny it. The music played on, filling the room with its familiar rhythm, and for the first time that evening, for the first time with them, you felt yourself softening—just a fraction.
You hesitated, eyes flickering to Sirius, whose expression was a mix of hope and anticipation. He was grinning like he’d just won the Quidditch Cup. You scoff in resignation. “...Both. But I’m partial to Queen.”
Sirius let out a triumphant laugh, throwing his arms into the air. “I fucking knew it! She’s got taste!”
“Congratulations,” you said dryly. “You’ve discovered that I enjoy good music. What a revelation.”
“It is,” Sirius insisted, still grinning. “You’ve officially earned a pass in my book.”
You raised an eyebrow. “A pass for what?”
“For being tolerable,” he said jokingly, as if it were obvious.
“Oh, how generous of you.”
Remus chuckled softly. “You’ll have to forgive him, dove. He doesn’t know how to behave like a normal person.”
“I can see that.” You snickered dryly, appreciating the semblance of alliance you seemed to have formed with Remus.
Sirius leaned back on his elbows, watching you with an expression that was almost smug. “See, gorgeous? You’ve got more in common with us than you think.”
“Now I wouldn’t go that far,” you shot back, though the edge in your voice was noticeably duller. Sirius looked back at you deadpanned, but that smirk seemed to be glued to his face.
“Fine,” you muttered. “I like Queen. Happy?”
“Ecstatic,” Sirius said, beaming.
For the first time, you didn’t feel entirely out of place with them.
James, sensing the shift, tossed you a chocolate frog from his nightstand. “You’ve somehow found common ground with Sirius. That means you’re officially one of us now.”
You caught it, unwrapping it slowly. You raised your brows at him. “One of you? A kind offer, but no.”
Sirius threw an arm around your shoulders, grinning like a madman. The contact was uncomfortable, but you made no effort to pull away completely. Remus chimed in this time. “Sirius is the most judgemental out of all of us. You get in with him? You passed.” He shrugged at you as if his statement was absolute.
James leaned forward with a mischievous glint in his eyes. “You know, angel, we might just have to keep you around.”
You scoffed. “Please don’t.”
“Too late,” Sirius said, his grin practically splitting his face. “You’re one of us now, whether you like it or not.” He leaned towards you and placed a dramatic kiss on your cheek. This time, you leaned away, furrowing your brows at him, wiping your face with your hand.
“Watch yourself, Black. You want to keep those lips? Keep them off me.” You shot at him.
Sirius gave you the infuriatingly enticing smirk that seems to be consistently plastered to his face. “Whatever you say, doll. But soon enough, you’ll be begging for our lips on you,” He shot a wink at you.
You rolled your eyes in response, popping the chocolate frog into your mouth. You glance at the other two boys, who seem to agree with Sirius. “In your dreams, Black.”
Sirius got up from the bed, scurrying to his corner, “Oh, believe me, we see you plenty in our dreams, gorgeous.”
For the first time, you don’t have a response.
Before you could wallow in the feeling of being speechless, Sirius came back with a thick stack of records and tossed them down on the bed next to you, earning him another scold from Remus about getting floor germs on his bed. You chuckle and share a look with him, shaking your head at Sirius’ antics. Sirius began to shuffle through his albums, questioning you about every band he knew of, as he tried to find another similarity between you. James chimed in every so often, commenting on one of the few bands or songs he knew of, only to get brushed off by Sirius as he was awaiting your input. Remus looked on from the floor, periodically trying to continue to work on the project. After a while, all of your schoolwork layed forgotten on the floor. As the music played on and the boys pulled you into their banter, you found yourself relaxing—just a little. Maybe they weren’t as insufferable as you thought.
Not that you’d ever admit it.

Tumblr media
It was the night after you had returned from a quest. Jason always worried, he couldn't help it, but he'd heard some of what your quest involved and his concern was even greater this time around. So when you got back, he decided he wanted to show you just how much he missed you, even though he had never attempted anything this intimate with anyone else.
Frantic kisses along your neck while the son of Jupiter held you up against the wall of his cabin was not how you expected to be greeted, but you weren't complaining. Actually you weren't doing any speaking, since his kisses quickly devolved into sucking and biting on spots that had you moaning loudly while fisting his shirt in your hand. His hands found their way under yours, groping the soft flesh of your bare waist and sending waves of arousal through your body.
It usually never went further than this, because he was always too shy and you didn't want to push him, but when he started sliding your shirt off you realised that you two were finally going to do it, and you had to stop him just to make sure this was what he really wanted.
"Jason, are you sure?" Your breathing was uneven, arousal already evident in your voice.
"I'm sure," he confirmed before carrying you over to his bunk and dropping you onto his bed.
He crawled on top, completely removing your shirt before kissing you with a fervor you hadn't felt from him before. He kissed you like he hadn't seen you in months, and it wasn't long before his tongue was invading your mouth and sending pleasurable shivers down your spine. You moaned into his mouth, hands coming up to grab the back of his neck and tangle in his hair as your body arched up against him, your hips moving on their own as they rocked against his. You were awarded with a low groan, before his hands travelled south and groped your ass, making you gasp and moan even louder.
But you were getting impatient now, so you took matters into your own hands and pushed him off you, switching so that you now straddled him on the bed while he was on his back. You hurriedly slipped his shirt off and tossed it aside, leaning down to kiss him again as you struggled with the zipper of his jeans. As your tongues wrestled for dominance, you grabbed his bulge with one hand and squeezed, causing him to elicit a loud moan that only turned you on more. Finally getting his pants off, you sat up to undo your own and left both of you in just your underwear, and Jason with a stunned look on his face.
"What?" You frowned. "Is something wrong?"
"No! No, it's just..." His cheeks turned pink, "I, uh, I thought I would have more control of this situation. But now I have no idea what to do, I know it's stupid."
"It's not stupid," you laughed, then smirked, "I think it's cute." Then you proceeded to remove his boxers, causing him to swallow thickly as you teasingly lowered your face towards his achingly hard - and big - dick, "I want to see submissive Jason Grace."
His face burned at your comment, and at the position of your face, but as he opened his mouth to say something you dove right in. Taking as much of his length into your mouth as you could, you didn't give him a chance to get used to the new sensation before your tongue was running all over, licking and sucking every inch you could reach. You moaned around his cock as you sucked him off, soaking your panties at how good he tasted and loving the pleasured moans and groans you were getting from him.
"Fuck!" He cursed, involuntarily bucking his hips and thrusting his large dick further down your throat.
Your gag only turned him on further, and soon he was rocking his hips against your face, fucking your mouth more roughly than you expected, but you loved it. Especially when his hands found your hair, and he started to pull - you went insane. He was losing it fast at how good it felt to have your mouth wrapped around his dick, your tongue working wonders and edging him towards his first ever orgasm. A few minutes later you felt he was about to cum, and pulled away from his dick, only to earn a whine - yes, a first ever whine from the son of Jupiter.
"You'll get to cum baby, don't worry," you cooed as you sat up and inched forward, aligning your entrance with his tip.
To describe his feelings would be almost impossible. Jason wasn't sure what he was feeling between the confusion and the ecstasy, but you were being so hot right now he didn't want to stop you. He wasn't used to this, having someone dominate him, but he figured if it was you dominating him during sex, then he liked it. A lot.
"You okay?" You giggled as you grabbed his saliva-coated dick and started pumping it, causing him to groan. "You look confused."
"How do I...you know...in this position?" He blushed, flustered and embarrassed by his own question. "I thought, well, I thought I would be on top."
"I'll show you."
Anything he was going to say died in his throat after you pushed his tip in and sunk down on his cock, inch by inch. The feeling of your warm, wet walls engulfing his throbbing member sent waves of pleasure through him and his jaw dropped as he let out the loudest moan you'd heard from him yet.
"Fuck!"
You were in heaven yourself, eyes fluttering as you took him in, mouth rounding to form an 'o' as he stretched you out. He was bigger than you'd expected, and much bigger than anyone you'd ever taken before. You moaned loudly when your hips finally met his, and his hands tightened on your waist as you both got used to the feeling of him being sheathed deep inside you.
"Feels so good..." He groaned, involuntarily bucking his hips and making you gasp and cry out at the movement.
You took that as a sign that he was ready and started to move up and down, going slowly at first since this was his first time. But as his moans got louder and his breathing got heavier and shakier, you moved faster, bouncing yourself on his cock at a speed that had both your eyes rolling to the back of your heads. Your hands found his shoulders to steady your body as you rode him, skin slapping against skin while you bit your lip hard from the sheer pleasure of having his thick length ramming into you with every hard slam of your hips. Jason's head rolled back, the feeling euphoric. His fingers dug into the skin of your waist, probably leaving behind marks but you didn't care.
"Faster," he moaned - almost choked - out. "Go faster, please..."
You obliged, rising up and slamming down on him quicker and rougher, the faster pace eliciting louder moans from both of you. You reached down to grab his hands and guided them up to your chest, making him grab and grope the fatty flesh of your breasts. Your head tilted back at the feeling, moans growing louder and lewder at the combination of pleasure from both areas. It wasn't long before Jason's hips were bucking up into yours on their own, making you cry out in ecstasy as his hands massaged and squeezed your tits.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck!" You cursed, riding him harder and picking the pace up even more as you felt your orgasm starting to build.
Jason was getting close too, unable to hold it off for much longer with the way your soft, gummy walls were clenching around his dick. His hips had already started acting on their own, rocking against yours so hard he feared he might bruise you, but you didn't seem to mind. In fact, it only spurred you on and the sound of your wet thrusts was driving the son of Jupiter insane, causing him to grip onto your breasts a little too tight. You gasped, then whined, and he swore the sound went straight to his dick because then he slamming up into you with the force of an ox, moving his hands further south to grip your ass again. As he squeezed, you whimpered and cursed, trying to bounce yourself on his dick faster but failing due to your legs getting tired. So Jason picked up from there, using his grip on your ass to move you up and down on his length. For a while, the only sounds were heavy pants and moans, and skin slapping against skin.
Then there was a loud groan, and Jason quickly - but gently - pushed you off just in time for his cum to spill out, all over your lower stomach. When he looked down, he noticed his dick was covered in yours, and the sight had him throwing his head back with a groan.
"That's so hot."
You smiled and laid yourself next to him, kissing his shoulder, "Mhm, I agree. You are hot."
"But I said-"
"Shhh, go sleep."
