Out of curiosity, what exactly happened when blue went to nightmare to ask if he could join the bad sanses? Like did they fight at first? Did nightmare taunt blue prior to him asking? Like what happened?

I love “blue joins the bad sans” but let me take it a step further ; swap goes into retirement

Both the bad sans and star sans receive a letter of resignation.

The letter explains that he felt so fulfilled helping the star sans but he realized that the working conditions and expectations he had weren’t healthy. They had been dismissive, and resigned to the fact that he could be replaced. When they left him for dead,it was was just over.

On the over hand, the bad sans had understood mortality and were so understanding. The castle felt like a home after staying there while he healed. He got to know and grasp why his housemates were the way they were. When it came to there job of destruction, he just couldn’t do it. It was in blues nature to help people

The end of the note said “ and so I’ve entered retirement. Since my timeline has been put out of commission,I have acquired the most cozy home on this side of the multiverse. The coordinates of which are written below, so feel free to visit. Ps craft circle is on Fridays”

I’m going to start using general plot points with now

*ink and dream show up, asking for help to come back. He refuses and says he’s helping people in a new way

*first craft circle consist of error, fresh and horror. Error crochets, blue knits,horror makes decorated communication cards ( I headcanon he has aphasia). Fresh makes a radical collage and promises to bring materials for ‘total tubular team craft’. Know body knows what this means, everyone is afraid.

*nightmare comes to check in on swap, to see he’s eating well and not overworking himself. Blue explains that he has lots of leisure time now and he’s doing his best. Nightmare asks if he understands understand that the bad things he does keep things in balance. Blue says he doesn’t need to understand, because it’s not his job anymore. He’s here to provide safe environment to both sides,balance or otherwise but they are all real souls. Nightmare goes quiet. Pleasantries are exchanged and he leaves

*second craft circle error, killer, fresh and eventually ink show up. Fresh’s ‘group project “ is a bunch of Furbies to customize. Error ignores this, and works on his crochet projects. Killer and blue however began to make their own furbies with much merriment. Killer is making one that looks like his boss and blue unintentional begins to make one that looks like his brother. Then ink shows up, a first it’s peaceful, they ignore each other. Then killer makes a passive aggressive remarks, which turns into a full on argument.

Blue tries to mediate but is stoped by fresh who pulls him aside and in fresh’s own special way, tells him ‘it’s best to leave them be, after all there is only death for those like him. And he would rather not have that! He likes craft circle “. By the time they get back, both are gone. nobody’s crafts get finished. Errors chill tho

UNKNOWN HORROR Part 2 Made By Anger-Is-Flawed

 Dream went back to get his stuff ready and the other two came in and asked what he’s up to. Dream says nothing and says he’ll be back soon. As soon as Dream made it to the destination, Nightmare appeared and saw an easy opportunity to take out his brother for good. Nightmare quickly attacked Dream without warning, but Dream dodged swiftly. They started their battle and it lasted for a while. Nightmare suddenly took a couple hits from Dream’s arrows. Nightmare was now on the floor weakened and struggling to move from the light arrows. Dream prepared his next shot to strike Nightmare down. Before that could happen, Horror took his chance and striked Dream on the back of his head with the blunt side of his axe. Now it was just them two. Horror slowly made his way towards Nightmare to finish him off. Nightmare threw his tentacles at Horror. His tentacles were slower than usual, so Horror could dodge them easier. Horror jumped onto Nightmare and shoved his hands into Nightmare's body. He finally found his soul and pulled it out of his body. Horror took one last look at Nightmare before shoving Nightmares soul into his mouth. Nightmare's body slowly disappeared and Horror teleported, leaving Dream’s body there. Ink and Blue finally make it and quickly go to his aid. Horror makes it to his room and falls to his floor. His body starts stretching and his hand begins to change shape. Drool-like corruption begins to flow out his mouth and nightmares eye forms on his vacant eye socket. Dust and Killer come inside Horrors room and ask where Nightmare is. Horror slowly turns to them and they both instantly go on the offense and attack Horror. After a little bit of fighting, the other two fall on the floor and Horror looks over them. Horror tells them he doesn’t want to kill them yet and he has a plan for them. He calls in Insanity and surprisingly, he comes inside immediately. Killer looks shocked and Dust looks confused. Horror tells them that Insanity will be working with them from now on. Horror immediately sends them on a mission to take out a sans in a random AU. While they do that, Horror makes his way to low level AUs to feed on. Horror would kill and devour one monster and let their friends and family suffer and feed off the negativity. Horror continues to do this until everyone in the AU is gone. He would do this to many other AUs to satisfy his hunger while the other three went to complete the mission. Going through different AUs, he would find different variants of Nightmares and defeat each one. When he devours one, an eye would sprout from his tentacles. While he was doing that, the trio was busy trying to complete the mission they were given. Suddenly, they ran into the Star Sanses and Dream was leading them. Dream commands them to tell him what happened to Nightmare. Insanity immediately goes and attacks the trio by himself. He just joined the team so he’s inexperienced in synergy. All three of them attacked him at the same time and sent him flying. Now it was just two on three. Killer and Dust fought them off for as long as they could. Both sides were injured but Killer and Dust fell in defeat. Dream asked them one more time where his brother was. Unknown Horror appeared behind them and instantly the trio turned around quickly. Unknown Horror told them that Nightmare has been somewhat replaced. Ink had a bad feeling about this and told the other two to follow him as he went inside a portal he made. Blue quickly grabbed Dream and slowly went towards the portal. Before they stepped through, Dream looked back at Unknown Horror and saw him mouth the words “Thank you”. He immediately gets a wave of fear, then the portal closes.

Like do you really think Papyrus would join a group of murderers who kill his friends/family on a daily basis? So why would Swap do that? Swap, whose is the swapped version of Papyrus, join a group of murderers?

what r ur thoughts on the swap angst where ink and dream don't really care abt swap as much as they need to bc they're immortal and he's not

0/10 not my thing never will be. i personally view it as not only ooc for dream (ink is dubious on that but i like to think he wouldn’t intentionally ignore swap and his needs), but also just,,,,, for the love of god can we have the star sanses be happy for once!!! how come this fandom looks at nm and his group, composed of the worst people ever™️, make them happy and fun and family-like, and then butcher the stars by making them all terrible?? it rubs me the wrong way entirely.

i think it would be the contrary. ink would treat swap like any other member and worry about him as much as he does dream, himself, or anyone else. he wouldn’t freak out more than needed, and maybe he’d forget sometimes, but he wouldn’t intentionally be terrible and when he’s informed that he’s neglected anyone in some way or another he’d apologize and try to fix it.

meanwhile, dream would be more protective over swap and constantly freak out about him, which causes swap angst where dream and ink aren’t vilified, a concept this fandom needs to use more jesus christ. it has swap feeling like dream doesn’t respect him, but when they talk he realizes that no, dream respects him, but he also cares for swap so much, and he’s already lost so many people before and he doesn’t want to lose someone else from a stupid oversight. swap felt coddled and babied, but then realized that it’s more complicated than that and dream was trying to do as much as he could to protect someone he loved from the same fate so many others have. and then they grow from this and the 3 become closer and also they’re all a poly btw i said so and they have movie nights and love each other soooo much

Nightmare having an ex wife he still loves but hates in a way(Lies all lies he won't admit it), she is an Guardian like him, and no matter what they can't cancel out in powers, why they are evenly matched out no matter what happens.

So back to what I was saying, Nightmare has an Ex Wife, The Guardian of The Night (Or semi moon), They technically got 'divorced' during his transformation from passive, although she tried to he supportive she couldn't carry on with him so she had to eventually let go of him, dream never did get her on their side but she didn't join the bad guys either, every once in a while Dream tries to convince her but ofc she's not choosing sides and all that bs.

How you think the Star sans (Ink&Blue) and Bad sans(Horror, Killer& Dust) would react when they eventually figure out that nightmare has an Ex wife who cancels him out in terms of strength and everything else?

Lmao, I find this request funny. Like, imagine Nightmare, being his normal asshole self, and then when it comes to his ex, he's like- a leaf (strength wise) when it comes to her.

BAD SANSES AND STAR SANSES MEETING NIGHTMARES EX WHO'S STRONGER THAN HIM

BAD SANSES:

Killer, Dust and Horror were sitting in the kitchen, talking about their recent missions, when Nightmare suddenly bursted into the room.

They all jumped, when they set their eyes on Nightmare. "What got him in a frenzy now?" Killer leaned to whisper to them, while snickering. Dust could only shrug, as Horror kept on munching on his food.

"QUICK. PACK YOUR BAGS." Nightmare demanded, as he searched the kitchen for any food he could take on his journey. They all looked at him like he was crazy, well- it's not like he isn't, but still.

"Pack our bags? Why?" Dust stood up from his seat, and put his hands in his hoodies pockets. "Do not question me." The three exchanged uncertain looks, as they couldn't take him seriously, while he was in this frenzy.

A sudden unknown voice stopped them from asking more questions.. "Hello, Nightmare." Nightmare stiffened, when he heard that voice, he could recognize it anywhere.. They all looked towards the entrance in interest, making eye contact with a woman.

"Woah.. who's this woman, boss?" Killer decided to cut the tension, as he took a sip from his energy drink. You took on a gentle smile, now going towards the boys. Speaking to them with almost a motherly tone. "Ah, how lovely to finally meet you all. My name's Y/n. And I'm Nightmares ex." Killer choked on his drink, hearing that. Nightmare quietly grumbled in annoyance, and embarrassment. How humiliating...

Dust lit up a cigarette, because he couldn't do this anymore, without it. He puffed out a smoke, facing you with a tired look. "Boss has an ex?" "BOSS HAD A LOVER!?" Killer yelled next, as Dust grumbled at his yelling. "Boss...is afraid...of you..?" You couldn't help but giggle at them. They were so cute.. you couldn't help but take on the motherly role in this situation.

And that's exactly what you did..

At first, you only came to negotiate with Nightmare about something, but then- you couldn't help it but embarrass him in front of his 'underlings'.

You told them all about your relationship with Nightmare. They looked pretty interested, even more interested when you told them that you're stronger than him.. they were in awe. While Nightmare...felt absolutely embarrassed.. good riddance..

THE STAR SANSES:

Dream, Ink and Swap were standing in front of an unknown doorway. "Soo.... what's our mission today, Dream?" Ink asked, with interest. He's never seen this house before. It looked well kept. Flowers were littered everywhere...it looked pretty cozy and homey. "We're going to an old friend of mine." They both nodded to Dream's answer.

Dream took a deep breath, before finally deciding to knock on the door. After awhile of waiting, and Ink's constant yapping, a woman came out from the house. You smiled warmly, seeing Dream's form. "Hello, Dream." He returned your smile, and was about to speak. But was interrupted by Ink. "GOD DAMN-" "SHUT UP INK" A long silence ensued, as Dream huffed in frustration, while you stared wide-eyed.

"sorry about him..." He gave you an apologetic look, as you only smiled. Completely relaxed. "It's fine." "Anyways- we-" Ink went up to you, pushing Dream aside. You've noticed his eyes, that changed shapes and colors. You couldn't help but stare intently in them. His left eye was a pink heart, while the other was a yellow circle. "Excuse me, are you a super model?? OR A GODDESS?!" Your face hald a gentle smile now. You leaned down to look at him a little better. "Aren't you sweet?" Ink's cheeks gained a rainbow color, as he stared at you with an opened mouth.

"Ink! Stop acting like this towards the nice lady!" Swap scolded him, pulling him away from you, while Ink still stared at you. "It's fine, nothing can surprise you anymore when you've dated the king of negativity himself." Dream huffed, as a complete silence consumed them. "YOU'VE DATED NIGHTMARE?!" "Does that mean you're single?!"

What a lovely bunch.. you can't wait to tell them all about Nightmare..

In Regards To BJTBS…

Hey guys!

First, I would like to apologize for how long the time between these updates tended to be ^^’

I know that many of you are extremely excited for the series and are very enthusiastic to see what happens next! Especially with where we last left off!

However, I’ve come here today with some news about the future of this comic series, known as “Blue Joins the Bad Sanses”:

It will be officially on Hiatus for the foreseeable future.

Comic parts and such will not be worked on.

The reason for this was not due to the questions I keep receiving (I love to see how enthusiastic everyone is for my work! ^^), but due to dwindling motivation, as well as matters related to my personal life.

I, again, appreciate everyone’s support and cannot thank you enough for everything that all of you have done for me!

Secondly, in regards to creating fanart, comic dubs, or even continuations of the current story:

I love seeing everyone’s ideas and seeing what fun things they can make out of it ^^

I have a question! Have you heard of "Blue Joins The Bad Sanses" by @darkmuffinstudios? I was wondering what it would be like if something like that happened in your AU? Would it be Blue gets tricked and then realizes he made a mistake but Nightmare won't let him leave, or would something else happen?

Uh- I heard of the idea? As in I heard of the idea of Blue joining the Nightmare gang, but I never really heard of darkmuffinstudios’s specific version of it if that makes sense, most of what I’ve seen of it was in the form of multiple different fics around ao3

Uh well, the idea of blue joining the Nightmare gang wouldn’t even work in my multiverse tbh

It wouldn’t work because

1-Nightmare is very much not accepting any new members on his team, nor is he recruiting anymore people beside MTT, he could only barely tolerate the presence of three under him, and they’re already much work, plus, he sees it as a waste of resources to bring in more under him when MTT are enough to do the jobs he wants them to do, Swap’s existence would simply not provide anything for Nightmare but make him do extra unnecessary work, Nightmare would rather remove Swap from the picture entirely, than include him in it (basically kill Swap than recruit him)

2- Swap isn’t easy to manipulate or break, so even if Nightmare wanted a new recruit and he chose Swap for it, it’ll take so much time and effort to break Swap that Nightmare thinks he could instead save these resources for more important matters

Swap is one persistent mf, and someone who can go through horrifying shit and still hold his head high, like it never even happened to him, always find the light even in the darkest of times, always believe there’s hope when there seems to be none, Swap, is quite literally, more of what Dream wishes he could be than Dream himself is able to be, it’s one of the reasons Nightmare sees swap as a genuine threat to him, and as a reminder, my version of swap is a variant that went through Killer’s eye stabbing incident, and while that significantly affected Swap, it never truly weakened him, whether mentally, emotionally, or physically, quite the opposite, Swap took it as a learning experience and simply worked to better himself and his approach to things

And if Swap can go through that shit and still hold his head high, still put a genuine smile on his face, not taking his disability as an obstacle and instead find his footing with it like he had it all his life, without any resentment towards Killer at all, it’s obvious to Nightmare that it’d be a waste of effort to try and break him, he might as well just put his efforts into something else, something much more within reach, tangible, more likely to happen if you will

So even if Swap somehow ended up in Nightmare’s castle, under Nightmare’s mercy, it would take much more than Nightmare’s willing to give for Swap to break, hell, I think it’s a bit more likely that Swap would negate all the work Nightmare put into keeping MTT in line, give MTT too much of a shining sparkle of hope (much more than Nightmare would allow around his subordinates), and much more for Murder and Horror (Killer is a whole lot of a different story), give them the strength they need to disobey, to find a different path for themselves, to risk it and try to find their freedom

A random scenario popped up my mind and i cant stop thinking about it, ok so the star boys with a teammate that is basically a tired dad/mom for them

i just imagine them being tired as heck and Dream, Blue and ink running in circles around them, or them protecting the boys from error or nightmare with a big BONK on their heads

I wanted to see your take on this, how the star bois would behave around their tired ass dad/mom friend lol. (Lmao i can't stop seeing error and the dad/mom friend having a absolute HATE for each other while ink is in the corner like this:🧍‍♂️)

Parent friend definitely has their hands full with the star sanses. One on one isn’t so bad most of the time but those three all have the potential for great amounts of chaos that triples every time they’re close to one another.

It’s like herding cats trying to keep them all healthy, happy and fed. They definitely run circles around you, especially Blue with his insane amount of energy. You’re going to get very strong from the amount of times you carry them by the scruff of their neck.

In fights your main tactic to protect them is just by yoinking them away from Nightmare or the bad Sanses and hauling ass away from them. You probably don’t have the same level of magic power as anyone else in a fight does, so you substitute by being extremely strong. BONK! Indeed anon. Thats your signature move in fact. Error and Nightmare learn to fear your bonks in battle.

Error despises you. He literally develops a fight or flight reaction every time he even hears you approaching him. It is on sight with you two. Poor ink is just standing in the corner trying to get you to both get along before just giving up and joining the fight.

Nightmare despises you less only because you tend to avoid him in fights unless its a direct one on one with dream. In which case you’re getting involved LOL. The bad Sanses (Killer, Dust, Horror) enjoy watching the times when you’re kicking Errors ass instead of theirs.

Blue and Dream appreciate your care the most. Dream is very touched by your care, especially in the early stages of your friendship. He’s so used to having to be the caregiver that experiencing someone trying to help him, he finds it foreign at first. Dream’s suspicious of you initially. You barely know him and yet you’re showing such care, he can’t help but be reminded of all the villagers in his au who were kind only to take advantage of him. Once he senses your aura of kindness and care does he fully relax around you.

Dream learns to relax around you, when it’s just you two he doesn’t feel like he has to put up this brave front. He can be tired around you, tell you his fears, his worries. Without being worried that his public persona as this beacon of positivity will be stained. Dream also (eventually) learns to stop self sacrificing for others and give everyone else the chance to help out.

Blue is second place, only because he’s so used to taking care of people and being cared back (Blues the only one with a loving, living family lmao). He understands your want to care for others the most and encourages you to train and get stronger, while also making sure you don’t burn out at the same time. You spend a lot of time with Blue training together, cooking food for the other two, etc. You also spend the most time in Blues au. So you’re close with his brother as well.

Now don’t get me wrong, Ink does appreciate you a lot as well. Ink is absolutely the type to get so caught up in something he forgets to eat or sleep. So having you around is good in keeping him in tip top shape.

If you’re creative then the two of you definitely spend time in the doodlesphere drawing. Ink is always interested in what your drawing. You could give him a stick figure drawing and he would still be really excited and give you tips to improve. If your hobby isn’t drawing then Ink is definitely still interested in what you’ve made. Music, knitting, dance. Ink loves to see others create! Especially his good friends.

You also help Ink learn to manage his vials. You record down what having a specific amount of each paint does to him and help figure out how much he needs in order to feel the full range of emotions.

Ink just wishes you would stop attacking Error on sight. Especially if the two have agreed to not get in each other’s way anymore.

Blue joining the bad sanses because Dream and Ink are idiots who forget they need to feed and water their mortal, and let it sleep...

Nightmare being so frustrated with the stars because he can see the trademark signs of fatigue and sickness in their little mortal and he's not getting any better... He tries talking to Dream, in any way he can, which is mostly hurling insults about how poorly he's treating Blue in the middle of their fights, but Dream thinks he's trying to get in his head...

Love Blue getting sick of their neglect/brushing off his needs like they're not the only things keeping him alive and asking Nightmare if he wants any help.
