don't reblog i'm just getting some thoughts off my chest in the tags
#is it just me or has the arrogance & elitism in the astro community here on tumblr syrocketed over the years?#I remember browsing the tags a decade ago and everyone was a lot more chill and open to more modern “pop astrology” practices#but recently i get recommended so many angry posts where someone loses their shit over it#it seems like they're desparate to be taken seriously and not lumped in with the silly geese#but anyone who thinks astrology is fake won't take you more seriously just because you claim to study a more ancient system#they don't see a difference and they don't care either way#but have fun on your high horse ig#if astrology had no subjectivity to it at all i don't think we would have this many different systems and ways to calculate the placements#and the more modern ones wouldn't be this popular if there wasn't any validity to it#I think the problem lies in trying to force everything to fit one specific system and worldview#I can't jive with such a rigid attitude#i'm a mars in 9th house person so i'm never gonna agree fully with most established ways of thinking#I'm also a big fan of manifesting & free will so that's another point for why I prefer more freedom oriented astrology practices#it just fits better with my personality and culture#I'm not gonna let anyone force their views on me I've had to deal with this shit way too much already#also astrology is in the end just a system created by HUMANS and we are not omniscient however much you'd like to think so#It will always be flawed and incomplete just on that basis alone#plus i feel it greatly dishonors feminine/yin energy when we try too hard to make the unknown known and solid#its not meant to be and not possible to know everything#but that's just my opinion and i'm standing firm on it#I know there's some irony to this coming from someone that likes astrology#but to be fair I'm not really into predictive astrology#I mostly use it as a tool for psychological analysis and to assess compatibility#I don't care to know in detail about my future relationships#I just want to be able to see if it's worth starting one and what the potential obstacles could be when I do meet new people#And so I can show them fun posts about our placements like haha look its us

He is my misfortune 🎀
Tumblr media
~Lorenzo Berkshire x reader~
WARNING: cursing
°Nepriateľ milovníkov°
Fluff
Summary : You unhappily end up tutoring a boy who brings you more misery than life itself
• |Reader is in Hufflepuff
• | I plan to make another part/parts. But I don't know if you will like this part, so I'll see 🎀
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lorenzo Berkshire. A lot of people think of this name as a smiling face of a boy who is always positive, laughing and sometimes even kind. The only thing that comes to mind with this name is disaster. Everywhere he goes something always goes wrong. Either I'm unlucky with him or I really don't know anymore.
For example, my Hufflepuff friends and I were in Hogsmeade. It was cold, so we went to the Three Broomsticks to warm up like every student at Hogwarts. A pleasant atmosphere prevailed there, at least I felt pleasant until I saw his face. At that moment, I sighed and realized that another problem was on the way.
We sat down at the table next to his. And why ? The reason was clear. Berkshire wasn't sitting there alone, he was there with his crew. For my friends, it was literally a feast for their eyes. I don't understand what they like about guys who just drink, smoke and change girls like socks.
That's not my type at all. I'd rather have some nice boy who likes to cuddle, go on cute dates, buy me flowers and..."What the f*ck?!" I was snapped out of my reverie about a boy who might not even exist by the boy who was the most annoying to me. nerves. "Sh*t Berkshire watch out! Great, I'm all wet now," oh of course who else but Berkshire could have tripped over his own feet and spilled butterbeer on me. "I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to, this really wasn't on purpose," Berkshire apologized with a smile on his face.
I heard how his friends started laughing in the back, especially Malfoy, another icon of the school. I wanted to cry. I don't understand why he always has to do this to me. "I said sorry, don't be so relational, it's just beer, it will dry out," I looked at him in disbelief.
"Yes, it will dry out. But it's your fault that it's wet!" I stood up and left the room. Why does he always have to do this to me? Fool. I got on the first carriage I saw and went back to the castle.
This happened about a month ago, I'm currently sitting in the library completing an assignment on herbology. I really don't enjoy this subject, but somehow I still manage it. Unlike Berkshire. Whatever he is, I feel sorry for him. He's been sitting here in the library since lunch, and I can see he's still doing the same thing, with a herbology book spread out in front of him.
During that time, I managed to make elixirs, astrology and now also herbology. Maybe I would help him, but that's what he needs. Unfortunately, the butter beer cannot be washed off. He's lucky he covered my old sweatshirt and not a new one.
Curfew is in a moment. I pack my things in my bag and I look at Berkshire, but he is already looking at me. Why is he looking at me? Better do your homework, moron. I smirk, take my bag and leave the library.
The next day I enter the greenhouses, as I expected, I had a good homework and so did the others except Berkshire. "Mr. Berkshire, I don't want to worry you, but you're failing Herbology," Mrs. Sprout said sternly. Berkshire didn't say anything, just stared blankly at the ground. "Are you going to do anything about it, Mr. Berkshire?" the teacher asked him. "
Well...I...I don't know..." Mrs. Spraut just sighed and announced: "Mr. Berkshire, I suggest that someone tutor you. He will tutor you for 3 weeks, 2 times a week. And I already know who ." She suddenly turned her gaze to me. Wait. NOT. He probably can't be serious. After all, one more moment in the same room with him, and that boy will set my hair on fire with his happiness.
"M...Mind..Mind me?" I stammered back to her. "Huh? Do you have a problem with that Mrs. (y/l/n)???" "Um, no?" I replied, more of a question than an answer, "excellent! You can leave at the end of class!"
What on earth did she dip it in, and why me? I ran out of the greenhouses into the corridor to make it to the next class. "Hey! Wait!" "oh god what do you want?" I turned to face Berkshire. "Wouldn't you like to go...ah!" I reached for his shirt and pulled him to the side "You were standing in way, Lorenzo," "Oh, thank you." So wouldn't you like to go for a beer with me? We could..." "No! There's no way I'm going anywhere with you anymore. The last time you had a beer in your hand, it ended on me. So no!" I said even before he could finish the sentence and I turned to leave "Jesus, you're terrible," he said with a laugh in his voice "but I still don't like you!" I said and went into the corridor.
As I expected, it happened. He chased me. "Why are you following me like a lost puppy?" "I was waiting for you to calm down," I looked at him in disbelief. "You're kidding, aren't you?!" "When was I kidding," he replied with a grin. I swear if that boy was closer I would slap him. "Oh well, well. So what do you want so urgently that you're chasing me," "I just wanted to ask about the date of the first meeting," he said quietly. "Why didn't you ask right away?"
"Because you didn't let me talk you into it?! Did you!?" that bastard... "When is convenient for you?" I asked him with a sigh. "Whenever you want, I can do it any time," "Then Wednesdays and Fridays. I want to have peace from you during the weekend," "Mrs. (y/l/n)'s order!" he turned and left. Oh god it's going to be a month.
The fame related houses in astrology part 1 (10th house)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
youtube
Tumblr media
First let me hurry up and clear this out of the way. I see a lot of posts on Tumblr for example talking about fame and popularity Yet no one mentions the houses in astrology that causes fame or what type of fame these houses bring.
Remember fame or popularity is kinda subjective and there are specific categories you have to take into consideration. Such as local fame, celebrity status.
The 10th house
The 10th house represents career, public image/recognition, reputation, status, career achievements and most importantly popularity/fame for or due to your career. The 10th house fame is really your professional resume in a birth chart. It shows you getting public recognition in regards to your career.
For example there are celebrities that are strictly known for being a musician or an actor. The 10th house doesn't even have to be fame for career. It could very well just show what you are publicly (reputation,) known for because of the career you do.
For example somebody like Jim the plumber has no popularity but he is known for being a plumber.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He is known as a plumber by people. If you were to ask your friend who is Jim they would say oh he is just a plumber. Now planets influencing the 10th house will determine how popular Jim becomes for being known as a plumber. Let's say Jupiter transits Jim's 10th house then you'll see more people knowing or recognizing Jim for being a plumber.
Recognizing as in oh this person Jim was a plumber this whole time. See I don't even know who Jim the plumber 😂 is but we know that he's a plumber right?
The 10th house deals with career achievements as well and that results in being recognized by the public for career.
For example when you graduate from school or especially college. You would notice the 10th house being heavily involved in that time period.
Tumblr media
It's because when you graduate that's an elevation in your career. Something you would put on the resume. Therefore when your resume is being read you get recognition from those achievements.
Another example would be a promotion. This is why you see someone posting a graduation photo or a story bragging about how they got promoted. Next thing you know they get thousands of shares and likes.
This all has to do with the 10th house. People you see working minding their own business. For example a fireman rescuing a cat. Next thing you know a bystander records the whole ordeal. The fireman becomes popular or famous just for doing his work.
Tumblr media
Remember the 10th house is work environments so a person doing specific work whiles in their work environments. Can then bring popularity for a career.
I think Jupiter was transiting my 10th house when I had made a prediction in 3 weeks in advance before Will Smith slapped Chris Rock on stage. Obviously I started getting more recognition for doing astrology because of that.
Now if you're advance in astrology the certain placements can easily show which people are giving you that fame.
Where are you getting this fame from?
Is it local fame?
For example 4th house lord or ruler going into the 10th house. Can easily show people that gets their recognition or popularity, from the 4th house things. The 4th house represents the home environments.
Basically that can be like local fame. Someone that is well known locally in the state or country they live in. A lot of DJs or club promoters would have placements like that.
Planets in the 4th house matter as well because they would aspect the 10th house.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Don't forget about transits in the 4th or 10th house to time when we get public recognition for our career.
Follow me on the other apps I'm out.
Oliver and Taurus Chiron
Here's my little write up of the placement
Chiron in Taurus signifies a wound related to stability. Individuals with this placement may fear losing their pillars of stability and may unconsciously act against their own values if these pillars are threatened. This behavior can emerge during stressful times, such as relationship changes/breakdowns, financial difficulties, or housing insecurity. The Chiron wound influences many of our decisions throughout life, without us ever even being aware of it. Individuals with this placement are often greatly concerned with stability in life, while others may live happily without a stable job or home, a Chiron Taurus will crave this stability and function better with it. There will be this longing to have everything working smoothly and to a structure, built on a stable foundation.
It's an extreme bordering on absurd version of it for sure, a Chiron Taurus wouldn't make you murder people. I just find it interesting to connect astrology with different characters I enjoy. To think about their motivations from a perspective of an unconscious wound that underpins their choices. How that Chiron could create behaviors to the absolute extreme.
I don't believe Oliver from the get go was intending to kill anyone. I think he saw he was beginning to be welcomed into the family and thought, possibly through friendship (probably not after seeing the way Pamela was treated) or perhaps marriage (with Venetia, maybe), that maybe his social status would change, that maybe that constantly niggling fear in the back of his mind, fearing his stability would finally be satiated, satisfied and would leave him alone. Of course, subjectively we could say Oliver's life before was stable, but that is a matter of perspective. Maybe it didn't feel all that stable when he watched Felix never worry about an exam, about money, about friendships, opportunities, safety or his future.
"Only rich people can afford to be this filthy" "I'm not like you Felix. I can't miss the exams. This is all I have."
The absolute FEAR that would have coursed through his body when Felix found out about the lies would have triggered the Chiron so hard. Everything would come crashing down, the possibility of this stable future crashing around him. His behaviors then are coming from this fear that the stability he could have had, is now gone. The choice to murder Felix to ensure his lies didn't get out and effect other pillars (Oxford, career, future, lose of friendship). I don't really see it as an intensely malicious choice, I don't think killing Felix was something he particularly wanted to do/ took pleasure in (against his morals perhaps), but it had to be done to protect the other pillars, to ensure his life still had some stability.
Getting rid of Farleigh was again, him leaning against Oliver's pillars and threatening to push them over. Venetia was another version of that, once he realized she saw through him, he placed the razor in her hands.
The grave scene was true sadness, he lost a Felix shaped pillar from his life, at his own hands. He was devastated, the first true friend he had was gone, that part of him he was with Felix was dead too. In order to save his other pillars he had to get rid of his favorite.
All That's Beautiful, The Mental Divide
To proceed apace, no conversation can be had about prominent fantasy rpgs without discussing the original racial science underscoring 'mental stats': the failed hypothesis that there are human beings who are more capable of reason, of retaining information and applying it as well and those who are less. That, moreover, there must be a singular, objective and quintessential trait which is fixed and measurable within any given human and, when all of humanity is honestly and earnestly compared, a Normal distribution will occur. This explicit application of the theory, most thankfully, has become entirely gauche in the imperial core, and the latest rpg material I've read it reproduced is classic World of Darkness material (such as the earliest editions of Vampire the Masquerade). The bastard children of that IQ remains with us today, however.
A key component of contemporary rpg design are inherent opportunity costs. To excel in one area means to have sacrificed in another, and this I do not object to. It creates interesting and engaging design space where a person discovers what compromises they are willing to make to bring their flawed and all-the-more human character to life. I only question "stupidity" as a valid flaw and drawback.
We may think our society enlightened in our abandonment of IQ, but we are surrounded, indeed inundated, with its descendants. We will keep critique of the field of psychology brief as this is ultimately RPG design discourse, but I encourage the reader to reflect on our society's pleas to engage with archetype making such as the Myers-Briggs, or Gardener's more immediately evocative "Intelligence types". Just like IQ before it, there is no empirical basis and ascribing these ideas comes out to advanced, well funded astrologies.
Consider the Student of War Feature for the Battle Master Archetype of the Fighter class in WotC's most recent product: the essence of a fighter who applies his superior knowledge to his martial prowess. Two additional proficiencies, one of which is exclusively for the ribbon. By personal experience one would be better off using the Eldritch Knight archetype, whose abilities at least actually are guaranteed to key off of Intelligence-- but then WotC has never bridged the martial-caster divide so at that rate consider why one should restrain themselves to 1/3rd casting benefits for nothing but the 'vibes'.
Wisdom and Charisma have both seized upon the domain of Intelligence and all three come away malnourished for it. RAW Charisma's skills have miniscule application in the archetypical dungeon environment. If a facilitator permits any use of Charisma skills to completely bypass a combat challenge, then I am afraid your group is no longer playing Dungeons and Dragons! I don't know how to define what they would be playing, but I sincerely recommend such a group stop engaging in their Calvinball and play Fabula Ultima instead, a game whose mechanics actually support an ethos where combat is a fail state. Wisdom-- I weep for thee-- is sort of a magical defense stat but otherwise just reserves a variety of recollection tasks to Clerics and Druids even though nothing about the mechanics or writing of WotC's products should imply that the practice of any spell caster is materially different than any other. Once again, Fabula Ultima addresses this issue with sterling clarity.
To hell with the whole poisoned tree, I say! The first thing to fix is the whole abandonment that these traits are fixed at all, secured with the Litered progression system which will be the subject of a future writing. These things don't slowly grow with time and effort, but can explode in potential over the matter of seconds depending on the context. This firmly erases all allegory drawn to our unfortunate, real life counterparts inventions of a definite intelligence.
Technical and Beauty are both much closer to personal invention than Athlete and Precise: to prevent Rhetorics as a spell casting ability from becoming dominant, I divided its supposed duties in half. Technical represents those abilities one could obtain in an institution or from theory alone: creation and recollection. Beauty represents skills which are more contextual, mysterious and require an 'x-factor': coercion, negotiation, soothing and performance. Then in combination these both contribute back into a final "Rhetorics" score which becomes directly useful in combat.
Next will be the last word on my classes and that single stroke I might be proudest of: that final niche of "renown".
My flight has been delayed so I’m sitting at a small and boring airport. Can I bother you again?
Snape or Lily?
- Who is more into fiction novels?
- Who’s more likely to like cinema?
- Who snuck out at school the most?
- Who snuck out behind their parents the most?
- Who got caught and who never got caught?
- Who wrote the longest letters?
- Who’s the best at chess?
- Who’s most likely to be interested in Divination? (We can stop taking Hermione’s and McGonagall’s opinions as gospel about this subject)
- Who explored the castle grounds the most?
- Who’s the morning person and who’s nocturnal?
- Who’s more likely to learn a new language?
- Who loves to travel and who loves to stay in?
That’s it for today! Au revoir!
lol I feel your pain (almost typed I feel your plane which is funny) because I've been travelling too! I was actually on a flight that had to make an emergency landing because a passenger had a medical issue so we had to sit on a runway in montana for ages. ANYWAY
- Who is more into fiction novels? Lily, who is very imaginative and loves to escape into a good novel. Sev prefers to save his brainpower for things that are actually useful and practical so he exclusively reads nonfiction and exclusively magical texts, whereas Lily would definitely read muggle literature.
- Who’s more likely to like cinema? Also Lily, though I'm sure Sev enjoyed it as a child when he'd go with Lily. Eileen and Tobias wouldn't have taken him so he probably exclusively went with Lily, and stopped going when they were no longer friends.
- Who snuck out at school the most? That's difficult, I think at first neither of them would have been likely to bunk off, and then during Sev's angsty era (6th year onwards) he'd probably be most likely to sneak around and ditch class.
- Who snuck out behind their parents the most? I was going to say Sev, but on further reflection they probably didn't care much where he went, so only Lily would have had to frequently sneak out.
- Who got caught and who never got caught? Lily would definitely get caught and Sev, master of subtlety, would have never been caught by his parents if he didn't want to be. To be fair Lily's parents were much more attentive.
- Who wrote the longest letters? Probably Lily, who loved a good ramble. She probably wrote pages of just inane gossip and random thoughts, and Sev would read every single one multiple times.
- Who’s the best at chess? Sev, I think he's more strategically-minded than she is.
- Who’s most likely to be interested in Divination? Lily, definitely. Sev would 100% share McGonagall and Hermione's opinion on the subject, whereas Lily is more intuitive. She'd probably be an astrology girlie in modern au.
- Who explored the castle grounds the most? At first I think Sev, but when Lily befriended the Marauders she probably did a good bit of exploring herself.
- Who’s the morning person and who’s nocturnal? I don't think either of them are really morning people, but of the two I'd say Lily, though she's probably just average. Sev is definitely the one staying up all night hatching weird plots and brewing potions and obsessing about stuff. On the other hand, later in life I see him as more disciplined and more able to stick to a strict schedule if he needed to.
- Who’s more likely to learn a new language? Probably Sev, and of the two he'd be much better. I don't think Lily would be very good at languages lol, whereas Sev could definitely teach himself Latin or something.
- Who loves to travel and who loves to stay in? Ironically given my last answer, Lily would be more interested in travelling I think, though I don't think either of them did much of it. Lily's family might have gone on holidays but most likely around the UK. Maybe they got to go to france or spain once. Obviously Sev wanted to leave Cokeworth, but unless he had a very specific reason for going abroad I don't think he'd be particularly keen. Lily is definitely much more likely to want to play tourist.
Bon voyage!!
survey #248
What movie are you looking forward to? The Mufasa movie.
What was your horoscope today? Was it accurate? I don't give a rat's ass what my horoscope is, I'm not even checking. I'm sorry, I think astrology is one of the dumbest things people believe in.
What’s the biggest thing you have going on? Uh... nothing lmfao.
Do you keep magazines by your toilet? No.
What did you last take a picture of with your camera? My actual DSLR camera, a pretty stream with nice trees and boulders. I took it close to a week ago and I'm so scared to put it into Lightroom. I haven't worked on a picture in literally a year now and I'm so scared I'm going to hate it.
Would you prefer an ice cream sundae or an ice cream cone? Cone.
Do you like to have ice in your drinks? No, it waters down whatever I'm drinking.
What song are you most likely to sing in the shower? I don't sing in the shower, or almost ever.
When was the last time you went to the dentist? I think it was actually like two months ago.
What’s your favorite TV show? Meerkat Manor is my favorite of all time.
Would you ever have sex with the last person you texted? The last person I texted with my mom. You can properly guess my answer to that.
Ever had a friend named Alex or John? Alex, yes.
What type of music do you listen to the most? Metal or rock of some sort.
Are you happy with your relationship status? I am.
What kind of stuff do you like on your hot dogs? Ketchup and mustard. I can handle a tiny bit of finely diced onions.
What’s the largest animal you’ve ever had as a pet? Probably our old boxer mix named Cali.
Do you own any kind of helmet? No.
Out of everything currently in your refrigerator, what food or drink is your favorite? Mountain Lightning. Mom got a 24 pack and I wish she hadn't, I don't like having soda always available to me.
Were your grandparents present when you were born? Not to my knowledge, they didn't even live in the same state as us.
Do you own any jewelry containing your birthstone? No.
Did you cry when you first watched Titanic? I sure did lol, but I was also in a psych hospital when they let us watch it, so I was ALREADY emotionally compromised. Even without that though, I probably woulda still cried.
Ever kissed someone with a tongue piercing? No, but *I* used to have a tongue ring.
Are your parents divorced? Yes.
If you got kicked out, where would you go? I guess my dad's or Girt's.
If any of your friends got kicked out, would your parents let them stay with you? I think it would depend on how close we are and if they had their own income. Mom can barely get herself and me by.
Would you get your feet tattooed? I think I'm getting ONE foot tattoo, a Silent Hill 4 reference that is a pair of numbers carved into the skin. I'm not certain yet though, I don't tend to like foot tats much.
Do you know people that smoke weed? I'd say this is pretty normal these days, yes. It's not legal here (yet, hopefully one day), but yes.
What is/was your worst subject in school? All types of math.
Do you find it rude when people text when they’re talking to you? Yes.
Ever seen a pregnant woman smoking/drinking? Yes, which I think is dumb as fuck if you actually WANT to deliver a baby, a baby that's healthy.
What’s something you want for your next birthday? I think I'm going to try to convince Mom to let me get a velvet spider... I talked to her about it once and she wasn't for it, BUT she honestly seemed convincable about THAT kind of spider, if I try hard enough lmfao.
Have you ever clogged a public toilet? I don't think so?
Have you ever been followed by a stranger when walking home? Tbh I've never "walked" home anywhere.
Do you own more then 50 different colored eye shadows? Dude I think I own ONE thing of eye shadow.
Do you currently have any medicine in your bag/purse/etc? If so, what kind? Yes, I keep Klonopin in there for anxiety attacks.
What do you like on your pasta/noodles? Sauce, butter, grated cheese, etc.? Spaghetti sauce is a must, I also like meatballs with it.
Do you think it’s wrong to put yourself before others? In what sort of situations? No. You can't care for others if you don't care for yourself. I mean yes, there are different situations, but honestly I don't care enough right now to divulge into different possibilities.
Are you wary of displaying signs of affection for your significant other around adults? Why or why not? No. I've been with him over three years, there's zero embarrassment or hesitance in me loving him.
Have you ever had red velvet cake or carrot cake? Have you ever made either of those? I've had both but made neither myself. Red velvet is one of my favorites.
Has your favorite band/artist ever toured Europe? Literally both of my favorite bands originate from Europe, so obviously lol.
Is the room you’re in carpeted or is it a hard wood floor? Are there any rugs? Carpeted.
What would be worse - going out in public with no bra or no panties? I think this is a personal opinion, but *I'd* be less comfortable without a bra in public. In private, I never wear one, but I'm very large-chested and would be very self-conscious publicly without one.
If you had to change a tire right now, would you know how? Nope.
Would you ever let your child drop out of high school? I don't want children, but if I did have a child and their mental health really, genuinely suffered because of school, I'd let them drop out, but never because they "just wanted" to.
Honestly, do you think that inner beauty is as important as outer beauty? Inner beauty is astronomically more important than what you look like on the outside.
What is something you used to be afraid of, but aren’t anymore? Taking the last person's answer, spiders. I love them now.
Privacy and respect; which is more important to you? You know, I originally answered with respect, but I actually think I'd rather have a right to privacy than you respect me.
Do you pronounce “aunt” like “awnt” or “ant”? "Ant."
Do you find not washing your hands after using the bathroom to be gross? I mean, yes? I think everyone would agree to this.
Are you an official couple with the last person you kissed? Yes.
Looking back, did you ever think you would be where you are now? No, especially if you're talking to child/young teen me. I expected to be so much more.
How old do you think you will be when you finally have kids? I'm not having kids. I wish I was infertile literally now.
Do you think you’ll be married in ten years? I think so.
Does your ex still love/like you? No ex loves/likes me. There's maybe two that I'm sure are indifferent, but I can confidently say one hates me and another doesn't want to associate so I'm sure doesn't like me. Maybe by now he's indifferent, idk.
Are you stubborn? Yes.
Do you tend to hold a grudge? It really depends on our personal relationship.
How many states have you lived in? Only North Carolina.
Who was the last person to hold your hand? Girt.
What do you miss most about your ex? "The" ex, I think I'll always miss that he was a lot more romantic than Girt is. He was, in some ways, better at being a boyfriend by my expectations, but in Girt's defense, Jason also very much lacked in other contexts.
What’s a fact about the last person you kissed? His favorite game is Nier.
How long have you liked the person you like? Confidently, it's been close to three years. I wondered since I was a teenager, but I was never sure, even when we started dating the second time. It took a major, trauma-healing event to be certain.
Have you ever regretted kissing someone? Yes, I did it because I felt like I was supposed to. I had no romantic interest in him.
Are you faster at text messaging or typing on the computer? TYPING, I tend to make typos when texting on a phone. I wonder if it's because of my hand tremors.
Tongue piercings - cute or trashy? I've literally had a tongue piercing and it was my favorite piercing I ever had, I thought it was so damn cute. I only took it out because it was damaging my teeth.
I’ve got to know, who do you prefer: Mario or Luigi? Luigi.
Have you ever changed clothes in a public area (not a dressing room)? In a car.
Yes or no: techno music? I tend to like it.
Have you ever kissed anybody who had a mustache? Not a big one, but yes.
If you were famous do you think you could handle the popularity? Absolutely not.
Do you get on better with funny or serious people? Funny.
Have your friends met the last person you kissed? Some old high school friends have because we went to the same school.
How old is your oldest cousin? Idk.
What if you saw your best friend holding hands with your ex? My boyfriend is my best friend and all but one of my exes are men and he's straight, so what a scene lmao.
Your last relationship, who dumped who? She dumped me. I'm honestly just glad it didn't last, she's not the kind of person I ever SHOULD have dated.
How old were you when you had your first boyfriend/girlfriend? Idk actual age, but I know I was in the 7th grade.
Is your home town nice? No.
Do you consider yourself mature enough to make your own decisions? It's not even a matter of maturity to me, it's me not trusting myself or even just not knowing what I want.
Do you have trouble reading small fonts? Not really, but I do have more trouble than I used to.
Do you know anybody that believes that magic/witchery truly exists? Yes.
Excluding surveys, what is something you waste a lot of time doing? Watching YouTube.
Do you find watching animals in their natural habitat to be exciting & fascinating? YES!!!!!
Of all the decisions you have thus far made in your life, which was the best & which was the worst? Best: letting go of Jason and deciding I could live without him. Worst: I can't think of a single event that REALLY stands out. I could say attempting to kill myself, but it's like... that led to me getting the help I desperately needed. Real healing started THAT month. I can think of awful mistakes I made, but picking one that stands out furthest is hard. A lot of things that caused trouble in my life weren't a choice.
Will you be expecting any company tomorrow? No.
Discarding the fact that they can smell & tend to get dirty a lot, do you like your feet, or feet in general? No, I hate feet, including mine.
What has been your best/favourite Halloween costume? I have no idea.
If you could visit just one European country next week, where would you go? GERMANY
What was the last job interview you went to? For a Food Lion deli. I got the job, which was a massive fuckin' mistake :^)
Have you ever had a meal kit subscription like Hello Fresh? No.
What colour are your nails right now? I don't paint my nails.
Are you good at meditating? No, I can't clear my mind like that and all it causes is anxiety trying to quiet my brain.
Can you do a pull-up? What about a push-up? Absolutely not to both.
Have you ever been fired from a job? Did you think it was fair? No, I've never really worked anywhere long enough for this...
Do you have any furniture from IKEA? I doubt it. Most of the furniture in this house came with it, the previous owner died.
Are you listening to anything now? Yes, "Moskau" by Rammstein.
Do you like to play Jenga? No, it actually stresses me out. I don't like the tension and especially the sound when everything falls.
Do you like gardening? I've never actually tried gardening. In my ideal life, I'd like some with fruits, but realistically, I would never maintain one.
If you have a dog, does it sleep with you? She's Mom's dog, and she sleeps with her or on the living room couch.
Do you like Fresca? It's okay, but low on my list for sodas. My mom used to love them.
Would you rather your middle name be your first? No.
If you get married, who would cook? Look can I be fuckin real, I hate thinking about this lmfao. I don't know how to cook, and Girt's no expert either, but he's better than me. Girt likes meal subscription services though, but he stopped a while ago. Tbfh, I don't even know how he eats now. The most realistic situation of us living together would probably include me cooking easy things, like in an air fryer or microwave; it looks likely I won't be a worker, which Girt has reassured me he's completely fine with, and because he'd be working, it's not like I'm just gonna laze around at the house all day. I have to pull my weight too, so the way things look right now, I'm probably going to be a housewife. Employment hasn't exactly worked for me, but I'm not happy about that at all.
Would you name your child after someone you know? No.
Have you ever been on a cruise? No.
What celebrity do you get told you look like? I've never been compared to a celebrity.
Have you ever taken a Vicodin? I suppose it's possible?
Are you a vegetarian? I had a vegetarian phase, but it's not sustainable for me and my diet. I'm far, far too picky, and if I followed vegetarianism for an extended period, I'd be malnourished.
How many towels do you use after a shower? One.
Would you smoke marijuana if it were legal? No, I'm not interested in smoking anything. I'd try edibles if it was legal here, though. I'm curious how it would affect my anxiety and depression.
Are you easily embarrassed? YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Would you ever flash a cop if you knew you'd get out of a ticket? No.
Hello~ I am here for our matchup exchange. Just in case, please tag me in a separate post instead of answering this ask.
You can call me Aurora and my pronouns are they/them.
I am 5'5, have brown eyes, pale skin with a yellow undertone and shoulder-length brown hair (dyed but it's not very noticeable unless under good lighting cause I didn't bleach my hair). Constant bedhead. I can't tell the difference between my brushed and unbrushed hair cause it's always messy. People have told me that I look unapproachable? It’s the rbf, ahem. I wear makeup sometimes. My fashion style tends to rotate between cutesy pastel clothes, alternative, and elegant/cool. Blue and black are my most worn colours. I would like to try bolder makeup looks and lolita fasion in the future.
I’m an INFP 4w5 cancer. I daydream a lot and tend to space out when I’m not talking to someone. I’m a true introvert, but I love to talk to certain people and about things I find interesting, like my fixations or a fun hypothetical situation. I'm also good at reading people (to the point where my brother thinks I can read people's minds). Purple represents me best as a colour.
I value my authenticity, creativity and emotional intelligence (I can’t say I’m really empathetic, but I listen to people when they need me to and I try to be there for them). But I am quite sensitive and emotional. I tend to remember events in which I was hurt easily. My friend would describe me as a jaded Disney princess because I daydream a lot and used to be idealistic as a kid but now I'm more of a realist/pessimist.
I was raised by parents who are both thinkers, so I find that I tend to think quite logically (when I'm not stressed) compared to my feeler friends. When interacting with my feeler friends, I can feel a stark difference in the way we think, haha. Not easily influenced by what's considered the norm (I don't like conformity much) and by extension social media.
Kins I relate to the most (75% and above of their character): Itoshi Sae, Michael Kaiser, Julien Loki, Shidou Ryusei (all from blue lock), Dazai Osamu (Bungo Stray Dogs), Rook Hunt, Floyd Leech, Jade Leech (all from Twisted Wonderland), Touya Todoroki/Dabi (My Hero Academia), Ivan (Alien Stage)
According to this personality classification system, I am a mint (I wholeheartedly agree). https://2-lines-and-a-circle.tumblr.com/post/692988945418633216/in-depth-description-on-flavors-mint
Hobbies: Reading, writing, and listening to music, psychoanalyzing people, looking for fanfiction with amazing writing styles (descriptions, vibes, the closer it reads like poetry, the better)
Likes: POETRY (I follow the web weave tag here and my favourite poet might just be Richard Siken), tofu (my favourite food), books (the genres I tend to read are thrillers, fantasy or sci-fi), no longer human (my favourite book), the travelling cat chronicles (my favourite comfort book), anime (mostly shounen, but I've watched some movies as well), personality typology (the closest thing I've had to a hyperfixation. my all time favourite is the enneagram, but I had astrology and MBTI phases), action or comedy movies, visiting cafes, looking at sunrises and sunsets. I have taken a liking to buying clothes and crochet items. Also sweet things. :D
Dislikes: Exercising, studying for subjects I'm not interested in, being forced to interact with people, having a sudden change in plans that I don't like, many foods (I am a very picky eater)
Love languages: Acts of service and quality time (giving), words of affirmation and acts of service (receiving)
I wouldn't be able to stand a SO that interrupts me when I'm talking (especially since I would never do the same to them) or is only interested in talking about themselves. I would like someone who's emotionally intelligent enough to deal with my moody self, haha.
Miscellaneous:
I climbed a mountain and ran a small marathon when I was 10.
I am good at academics. I was top of my class in primary school for 3 years straight. In high school, I was tied with one other person in my batch for the top spot.
Many people have called me pretty. Also complimented my handwriting, they say it's so neat it looks like computer print.
I don't like when people touch me most of the time. I like to touch them on my own terms. Like a cat.
Tend to get lost in new places. :’)
P.S. I have been seeing your dancing bear gif the entire time while writing this ask. Quite a cute and fun experience.
Blue Lock Matchup !
After reading the info you gave me, I immediately thought of…
Romantic Matchup : Hiori Yo | 氷織 羊
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You two are not exactly similar, but more so complementary.
Like you two would be on the same wavelength most of the time. You know the thing where you simply talk with eyes? Yeah, you do that.
A lot of your time spent together would be filled with comfortable silence, especially when he asks you to be his player 2.
Of course, you two have plenty of conversations. I wouldn’t say one if more of a listener than the other and vice versa. It’s a balance between the two of you.
You’re either both very quiet or really talkative around each other. There is no in between.
I wouldn’t say he has volatile emotions, but I think you’d be able to handle each other just fine. Like any other relationship, there are instances wherein you truly don’t see eye-to-eye. But you make up pretty quick.
You also spend a lot of time together, but while doing different things since you have different hobbies. For instance, he could be playing his game while you’re reading a book.
He says the sweetest things ever!
I think you both have a realist/pessimist outlook though at varying levels. It helps you relate to each other somewhat.
I think Hiori would dig your kind of look. Just a gut feeling of mine.
I see Hiori as more of a cat person, so I think that works quite well with your personality! Sometimes he’s annoyed a bit by it, but at the same time, he finds it oddly endearing.
While both of you might seem indifferent on the surface, you’re both actually quite sensitive. It helps make the relationship easier because you can empathize with each other better. You understand and comfort one another the best.
Sibling Matchup : Bachira Meguru | 蜂楽 廻
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bachira would probably the more cheerful older brother who tries to get you out of your comfort bubble.
He can be so pushy sometimes which leads you to fight a lot. And he simply laughs it off every time.
When you two are together, he's usually the one speaking for the both of you or he's the one first approached by people. Everyone is surprised at first to know that you two are siblings.
He's a bit of a daydreamer too, but it annoys you when he tries to relate to you.
He talks off your ear a lot, but there's not much you can do to stop him. But sometimes you do admit that what he's saying is interesting and you actually listen. To some extent, you do care about the stuff he likes to talk about even if you don't show it as much.
Bachira likes to play jokes on you and prank you a lot. There were times when he went overboard, but he apologized profusely afterwards.
He's impressed by your love and knowledge of poetry. He asks you to recite some for him which you do (reluctantly). It makes him so proud.
Since you're directionally challenged, Bachira takes it upon himself to guide both of you through places you visit together.
Week of 10/28-11/3
astrology forecast + collective tarot card for the week
Card for this week: 4 of Wands (reversed) - personal celebration/inner harmony & home/family life recalibration. i find these two major themes are most likely with this card - either evolution of our home/family lives (i.e moving, setting boundaries, increased awareness of behaviors/relational patterns) or personal victories (i.e achieving a personal goal you've kept to yourself or recognizing inner growth). these seemingly unrelated themes often connect quite a bit! your day to day routines and those around you often largely influence how you feel and what seems feasible to accomplish. this week is all about recognizing what matters to you, what influences you've been subject to, which goals you wish to focus on, and how to have a supportive foundation for all future strivings.
Transits/Astro forecast: mercurial and neptunian energy abound early this week- this is fun and imaginative, just don't piss yourself off with trying to make sense until later on in the week. this weekend is so full of depth. exploration of the shadows, revelations, inner truths, ancestral work every which way. be sure to pop your head above water from time to time, it will get intense. getting into the swing of the scorpio intensity in a serious way this week. justice, revelations, releasing. current retrogrades are jupiter, chiron, saturn, uranus, and neptune.
monday 10/28 - mars trine neptune rx, venus square saturn rx - bit of conflicting vibes here today! mars and neptune connecting beautifully to inspire creativity/spirituality/romance while venus and saturn are at odds and putting up boundaries or limitations within your relationships/partnerships. there's inspiration to dream and create but you'll be grounded from time to time. don't let these reality checks stop you from creating! journal out any roadblocks that emerge.
wednesday 10/30 - mercury opposite uranus rx - thinking outside the box today! let your mind expand and wander, but be cautious of feeling rushed. your mind might move quickly and in every possible direction (which may unlock your inner genius), but just double check that your updates saved.
thursday 10/31 - mercury trine neptune - a callback to the first week of july (last time we had this transit), this is a halloween for creativity/spirits/imagination! kinda perfect, really. abstraction and intuitive hits take the lead today, so great day for philosophizing and theorizing but maybe not for communicating precise/essential details. but setting up to be a fun halloween! moon moves into scorpio this afternoon, spooky ensues.
friday 11/1 - new moon in scorpio - yesterday was samhain and halloween, today is a combo day of the dead/diwali/new moon in scorpio, really fascinating overlap here! ancestry and past memories are areas of focus. there's a really fascinating interplay with dark and light here among these holiday rituals, reminding us that grief and mourning can exist within celebration and joy. darkness could not exist without light and vice versa. november starting out on a really powerful note! this weekend is the embodiment of the distinction between "funeral" and "celebration of life". sometimes the ultimate way to honor your ancestors is to live your life as unburdened as possible! you do not need to show reverence by perpetuating anyone's suffering.
saturday 11/2 - mercury trine mars, mercury sextile pluto, mercury enters sagittarius - heavily mercurial day here! last moments of mercury in scorpio aspecting mars and pluto - listen to your inner voice, be direct and transparent in your communications, see what comes up! today would be a much better day for the detail work/investigations. then mercury enters sagittarius! tangent storyteller social butterfly opinionated lecturer time! make those bold claims and don't explain yourself.
sunday 11/3 - mars opposite pluto, venus opposite jupiter rx, mars enters leo - mars in cancer opposing pluto in the final degree of capricorn is an Intense energy today - competition/aggression/dominance while closing the chapter of pluto in capricorn. mars typically opposes pluto about every 2 years and since 2008, we've been experiencing this transit on the cancer/capricorn axis. in the arenas of home/family/nurturing x work/authority/discipline, what are you ready to acknowledge and move forward with? what truths are you confronted with and moved to act on? i'll be monitoring this transit, it'll come back up on the leo/aquarius axis early next year. potential for huge personal revelations! while this intensity is going down, venus/jupiter and mars moving into leo are all asking you to be a bit self indulgent. celebrate yourself because why not! get the sweet treat, just check your bank account first. indulge with caution and remember, applauding yourself is free.
I would love for you to do a reading of the coronation now that we are closer in time to it. I like seeing different perspectives on this, and currently the energy from this reading has left me feeling dread.
A bit more context for the Celtic Cross post you received — she (Celtic Cross Anon) notoriously does not like Charles and is very upfront about her bias against him. And because she doesn’t like Charles, many of her readings about him or about his events have a tendency to end up “doom and gloom.” While she strives to be objective in her readings (so she says), her bias usually leads to an interpretation that reflects her antipathy — things aren’t going well, Camilla doesn’t want things, death or dread or anger all around. And because of that, people should take anything Celtic Cross says in a reading about Charles or the coronation with some salt because her readings about Charles feels more like confirmation of her feelings that he’s a terrible person and that may not be the objective interpretations anons are looking for. I’d say this about any tarot reader or astrologer who has a well-known dislike or favoritism towards the subject of a reading or analysis.
Here’s an example — Celtic Cross Anon objectively does not like Charles or Meghan and has says so many times on her blog. She did a reading once about their relationship and concluded they had a sordid affair behind Camilla and Harry’s back before the May 2018 wedding. Now I’m not saying that it isn’t impossible for such an affair to have happened, but since that is where Celtic Cross Anon ended up, it deserves a side-eye and compared to many other readings, it does feel like that conclusion was reached specifically because it validates her dislike of Charles and Meghan.
So long story short, it’s possible that Celtic Cross Anon’s interpretation of dread and death in her reading about the coronation is probably picking up her dreading of seeing people she doesn’t like (Charles and Camilla) replace the woman she loves (Elizabeth), leading to her projecting and predicting dreadfulness everywhere. But it could also be true that there’s a physical loss about to happen.
However, anyone who follows or studies tarot, should always be aware of any bias and realize how much that influences what one sees in the cards. Cards are subjective and mean different things to different people and different readers and bias will always change how and what people see. If something worries you, do your own research on what cards were received and come to your own conclusion. There are plenty of free resources on the web to help.
Tumblr media
I think most of what I suspect that will be going on I've already mentioned in other posts.
I don't have the start time of the coronation to make a chart, but also the coronation isn't really the starting point for Charles' reign. The date & time of his accession is. Sam Geppi did a brief chart analysis of Charles' accession to the throne last September, if you're interested in watching that. Nothing that Sam said about Charles' reign gave me alarm bells. Using the coronation to examine a reign would be like using the date & time baptism or christening for a person. I guess you can do it, but I don't think it would work very well since x number of days/weeks/months would have already happened.
I think it's pretty likely that Harry's wife announces she's divorcing him before the coronation. How close does she announce to the coronation? And what kind of accusations does she start piling on publicly once she announces? Yeah, she's no one in the US, but the UK press loves to give her airtime regardless.
Perhaps there will be another round of Epstein arrests before the coronation? I expect another round of arrests to happen this year, not before 22 April and probably no later than October. If that does happen, then it could bring all sorts of Andrew-is-a-terrible-person stories out of the wood right before the coronation.
I've already mentioned how I expect titles & styles to change under Charles. By that, I mean who gets to keep them.
I've also mentioned how I expect the house name to change from Windsor to Mountbatten-Windsor. The "death" of the House of Windsor and the "birth" of the House of Mountbatten-Windsor makes a lot of sense if you think about it. It's impossible to ascend to the throne at this point without being a descendant of Philip. Technically, the house name should have changed when Queen Elizabeth ascended to the throne, but due to the German name that wasn't going to be palatable to the UK public post-WWII. Well, Charles just finished his first state visit to Germany, so relations between the UK and Germany aren't a problem any longer.
Regarding Camilla, I think people forget that originally she and Charles likely didn't want to get married after both of their first marriages ended in the 1990s. Camilla really loved Andrew Parker-Bowles, even though he stepped out on her all the fucking time. Camilla's kids were originally against her marrying Charles. People have completely forgotten that Camilla wasn't even Charles' preferred mistress in the 80s after his marriage to Diana had collapsed. It was Lady Dale Tryon, aka Kanga. But Charles had to cut Kanga off because she couldn't keep her mouth shut. Also, Diana had no problem with Kanga. At all. They were friends. Diana disliked Camilla because Diana didn't think she was pretty, and Diana disliked the thought of her husband sleeping with a woman who wasn't as pretty as she was. (Yes, Diana was that shallow.) I'm sure Camilla does have some mixed feelings about being queen because it's not something she imagined being for most of her life. She's 75, almost 76, and has health problems. I imagine having to practice all the things she has to do to be prepared for the coronation is a big fucking deal at her age. It's a lot. Most people have a bit of resignation about things at her age.
Also, there's a lunar eclipse the day before the coronation. Eclipses tend to mark a lot of life events regarding Charles. He was born close to a lunar eclipse. He married Diana a couple of days before a solar eclipse. I think there was an eclipse on the day he and Diana announced their separation. Eclipses happening around Charles' big life events are clearly a thing and not something to worry about. That said, eclipse season can always bring out other crazy stuff out of the wood work, and it remains to be seen what that will be this time around.
That's all I got.
For anyone who's starting or want to how the ketu dasha will be , here's my experience cuz I just finished it a week ago
Born in Saturn MD ( alot of health problems my parents were worried that if I can even make it to the next day doctors gave an ultimatum about me living only for 13 yrs but hey I'm still thriving I'll be 26 this year) . I have a debilitated retro Saturn in 4th 😬
Teenage in mercury MD - alot of confusion, crushes left right , conservative in my approach towards guys , I was basically an air head 🙂 , no strong ambitions or goals but was above average in my studies, fear of abandonment, a super crazy girl wanting a lot of attention from my friends n teachers , I was friends with all but as they say " a friend for all is a friend for none." I had some awesome memories and some sad ones that's life . I don't know why I listened to my elder cousin who was going through some rough times say " every personal decision regarding your life please try to take it after you turn 20/21 yrs " I could've ignored it but it stuck with me ever since and I'm glad I did. My mercury is retrograde in ashlesha btw , even I had a dream that one day I'll marry a good man have lots of children like 6 of which 3 will be the one's I give birth to other 3 will be adopted and we live in a suburban house filled with laughter and happiness with a dog will all my 6 babies oh my! I still smile and feel for my younger naive self but anyway. I cherish my younger self so much and I listen to this song that I dedicate to her is 'so my darling by Rachel chinouriri ' I imagine myself singing this to her who will always be there and I'll be there for her always.
Young adult to Adulthood in ketu MD 😅 for a nodal girlie - depression, lost interest in studies, some how got myself out of it for the sake of my parents who are worried and couldn't do anything about ( I'm so sorry mom & dad , you did what you could . Thankyou for staying patient with me🥹🙏😇) , my father got me an admit in a university which was close to my house , made friends ( found my bestie ) , full of energy, got good marks , garnered attention towards me ( in my university all the faculty still knows my name ) , got into makeup n fashion but would feel empty even when I'm dolled up it was just a momentary happiness and poof!! , out of the blue my bestie one day eloped her longtime bf who's a member of some gang and she faced a lot of hardships, she got to know true side of him and wanted out . After 3 months she contacted me and it took me three days to make her sense n comeback home to her parents who were devastated. Fast forward She's good now 😁 , during my final year I failed almost all my subjects it broke me , later I cleared all of them, family quarrels, I got a complete makeover cut my hair short , got a ton of piercings, got into spirituality , almost lost my father to COVID and my grannies to brain stroke but THANK GOD! Both of them are doing well, shaved my head twice , took all of my piercings out , had an Outer body experience, got into astrology , my father was bankrupt, we lost everything, my granny had a second stroke and hip replacement surgery and now she's completely bedridden and I've been taking care of her 24/7 for 2 yrs , my dad left the house without any information, I'm clearing his debts ,my mom n me are barely make it happen, lost my hope & faith, diagnosed with BPD ,lost interest in men & dating & anything related to love , got rejected 3 times while trying to go abroad to work , got myself out of too much of spirituality, religious things like I was way too deep that I lost myself etc later I understood BALANCE IS THE KEY .
I always remind myself that I'm here on this plane just for my HUMAN EXPERIENCE. so be it . No god , no devil , no right , no wrong , NO more black & white thinking. faith is an important aspect of living it doesn't have to be a god , it could be in you. That's what I did .
Now I'm at a state where nothing phases me anymore. If I get an obstacle or any kind of hindrance on my path I don't cry (too much just a little) but I try to look for the best possible solution and work on it ASAP.
So , this is what I've gone through . So many lessons and many more to come 😁 currently in my VENUS MD
You're soooo strong and sooo resilient 🫶🏼 I admire your tenacity sooo much. I feel like we all live such complex lives and experience such highs and lows that it wouldn't make sense to someone looking from the outside. You've lived 20 different lives already and you've moved through them with grace. I hope going forward you have more prosperous times and make a lot of happy memories 🫶🏼
Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I hope your words comfort and inspire others 🫶🏼
Mermay 2023 - 4th Week and last three days
Day 22 - Zodiac
Well, with a prompt like this one, it was a little too easy to go with the Aquarius for Mermay. But... the thing is I have a certain attachement for this astrological sign in particular.
Day 23 - Tradition
And here is "Mahu", the dumbo octopus merfolk from day 21, once more ! I had vaguely alluded to it, but "Mahu" won't be their name, even if this is what I had planned initially. I'll explain why.
You've probably noticed that all of the merfolks I made for Out of the Abyss are strongly inspired by polynesian cultures, the most obvious ones being Hawaiian and Maori. And "Mahu" is in itself a concept of the Hawaiian culture : a third gender of which the name translates litteraly to "in the middle". Mahu people had an important role in Hawaiian society. They taught spiritual and social traditions, which included, among other things, teaching the hula.
And so, for me to have the idea of naming them "Mahu" to begin with, you've probably figured out that it's because this is what they are, traditionally speaking. But as I thought about it, I realised naming them by what they are would be like naming a cat, well, "Cat". It's a bit dumb.
Basically, I want to give them a new name. I'll certainly keep a two syllables name to at least keep things simple.
Hmm... In fact, maybe I could find them a name that has something to do with traditions ?
Day 24 - Zaddy
I made this character on the spot as I wasn't really inspired by the prompt. But I think I managed well with it nonetheless.
Day 25 - Food
No matter his form, Humphrey will always be a big glutton. (Even if, thankfully, he doesn't have the same voracity as when he used to be an actual whale.)
Day 26 - Jewel
"Shiny... For me... ?"
Day 27 - Halle Bailey
Ok, I'm not gonna speak on the matter of the Disney remakes as I believe everybody knows and that everybody roughly agrees about it.
No, here, the subject is Miss Bailey. I think no one can deny it, her voice is magnificent. And no matter the state of the movie, if she took pleasure in playing Ariel's role, then I am gald for her. And I also wish her a good continuation in her career.
Day 28 - Sailor
Alright, I might be cheating a bit with this prompt here. But the idea had been floating in my head for a while now and I finally had an excuse to put it on paper.
I don't know if I was the only one to have this idea, but I saw no one imagine the Captain Caviar ending up with a merman form as a result from being cursed by Black Pearl.
And yet, I saw many people draw him as a merman, so I'm surprised I haven't already seen this idea roam around...
Day 29 - Barbie
I loved the Barbie movies when I was a kid, especially the Fairytopia series. Here, I drew Elina, main character of this movie series, who takes on a mermaid form for a good part of the movie "Mermaidia".
Day 30 - Blue
I had mentionned this on day 21, but I'll have to reiterate it for this prompt. Leviathan is a blue whale merman.
It's in fact for this same reason he's the tallest amongst his peers : blue whales are the biggest mammals known in the world. Even Humphrey, a little humpback whale merman in comparison, is no match.
Well, perhaps that under his original form, Humphrey could have surpassed Leviathan.
Day 31 - Good night
I never would have guessed that I needed to see Dino-sour be a father figure to a half dinosaur baby cookie in my life.
Yes, the previous sentence makes no sense out of context.
I no longer play Ovenbreak ever since... well, ever since even before what happened with Yogurca (the less we talk about it, the better), but I'm still trying to follow the stories on YouTube. And honestly, I think that Pond Dino is the best thing to have happened to the "Rise of the Blue Dragon" update. I get how their design bothers some (it's rather overloaded, let's admit it), but... Just...
Baby... <3
Baby that sleeps like an otter. <3
The Rabbit Hole
Synchronicity is a subject that has been most tantalizing for me in recent years. My journey into the mechanics of what I consider to be an intentional reality started about four years ago. I was going through a major shift in my energy. It took some time, but I realized that at twenty-seven years old I was experiencing the emergence of my first Saturn Return. Anyone who is familiar with the astrological event knows how jarring it can. MY SHIT WAS ROCKED right off its access. I was insecure; I gained weight; I developed irrational fears; I abandoned dreams; I lost touch with my authentic emotions. It was the most violent experience I've ever had in my life.
But I lived through it and made it to the other side.
It was a difficult task, and I still am learning how to fully assess the many experiences I had during that time which at thirty years old today, I can say have finally concluded their cycle. One of the many things that became important in my journey was inspiration. I was grappling between an anxious urge to do what I thought should be done and a soft desire to do what felt like fun. And I don't mean fun in the general sense. I speak of fun in the spiritual aspect. My spirit is delighted by experiences that leave me feeling charged and energized. No amount of productivity at work could bring me that sense of satisfaction that came from sitting down to write a novel or completing a painting tutorial on YouTube. Even something as simple as taking a bath became a restorative hobby that would clear my cluttered being in a way, I didn't think possible.
This all was the result of synchronicity. In the face of adversity, I realized that bliss and fulfillment lie in the flow of the water, not against it's current. This was a very difficult concept for me to grasp. Make no mistake, this knowing is the result of a dark night of my soul that spanned the course of four years. Synchronicty lead me out of a dead-end job and into an activating one. Synchronicity lead me from one project to a random book in Barnes and Noble I had heard of in passing but never considered. Synchronicity lead me to the money I always needed when I needed it precisely. And it would be three years before the weight of its influence on my life would become clear to me.
I will explore this complex subject at length along with many others as I flow down this river of insight. My knowledge is an amalgam of years of tedious, private study into esoteric subjects. I would describe myself as a spiritual scientist with a passion for field study. There's nothing I have studied or learned that did not come from firsthand experimentation. It is my hope that as I journey into the depths of my own human experience that those of you who find my words relatable will find some relief in your own lives.
My favorite quote comes from a teacher I found towards the end of my Saturn Return, Abraham Hicks. This collective consciousness is one my favorite guides to arrive in my life in recent years and her words have become the cornerstone for the next phase of my life I am entering.
"You can never get it wrong, and you can never get it done."
And so, we begin.
Two quotes from the latest members only episode of the British History Podcast (on 12th century education), because Zee was on fire.
Zee: "Complete aside, this is why I laugh a lot whenever I hear this discourse in modern education talk. Right now we're in this strange place where girls tend to be outperforming boys in school on a population level. Again, we always mix up the population level and the individual. On the population level, when you slap everyone together, girls tend to be outperforming boys in education. And there's the question as to why that's happening, people try to chase it down, because we don't want that, we want everyone performing on a high level. One of the discourses in some of the dumber parts of society is that this is the result of women being brought into education, and particularly teaching, that education has been too feminized. Now, what they mean by that, and this is the funny part, is that it's become too rigid, and there's too much sitting down and that's not boy things. And so there needs to be more running and jumping, and more allowance for unruly behavior in the classroom."
Jamie: "I'm gonna guess that the people pushing this concept were not very good students but were rather unruly and liked to run and jump."
Zee: "All I can say is that - and to be fair, running and jumping, running around, is probably good for children. Which is why we have a ton more of it now than we ever have in the educational past, when it was only boys. Because historically, education was only boys, and it was ruled by a lot hitting, and a lot of sitting, and a lot of being absolutely dead quiet."
Also:
Zee: "The concept of the Liberal Arts goes, actually, all the way back to the ancient Greeks, but it's revived here. And they include seven subjects, the first three, called the trivium, interestingly, included Rhetoric, Grammar, and Logic. That was how they understood those subjects to be broken down. This is all the language, writing, debate, essentially. And thinking. And then you also had the other four, which were Astronomy, Arithmetic, Geometry, and Music."
Jamie: "Astronomy or astrology?"
Zee: "Well, astrology and astronomy are the same thing at this point. A lot of astronomy was the watching of stars. You're going out every night and you're making star maps, watching the heavens go through, and thinking through, you know, the implications.
Jamie: "Ah hell, mercury is in retrograde"
Zee: "But again, because medicine was all about the humors... Astrology, these things were not at all parsed the way we would parse them at this time. And this is why the concept of a Bachelor of Science drives me up the wall. Because natural science was always a Liberal Art. The idea of the Liberal Arts was that these were the arts that would liberate man. They would free the mind. They were not tied to some sort of task or job or profession, but about exploring... "
Jamie: "What it means to be a human."
Zee: "Yes! The concept of a Bachelor of Science is a horrific marketing scheme that is all about the degradation of the Humanities, and people have bought it so much that they're rendering themselves from their own liberation."
Jamie: "I'm sure it's a complete coincidence that they treat higher education as basically job training that corporations don't have to pay for."
Intimate Spiritual Diary, Entry 1
Here's stuff that keeps me up at night sometimes, wanting to communicate through my Gemini (communication mastery or failure) Imum Coeli (IC), also known as the Lower Heavens angle in each Astrology chart. The IC is the innermost, intimate familial (which can also include adopted family or friends as close as family) energies.
This is important. It comes from me and isn't "channeled". I'm not a "medium", except in pants size 😆.
I'm excited yet centred writing this; not feeling anxious or such.
I'm re-evaluating my inner truths of the nature of many of my experiences. I'm wondering if we've gotten a few things wrong, at least some of us. Those of us with the cards, the sage, the charts, and the rage.
To be clear, I have always had an instinctive practice of never being 100% attached to belief systems. I've come close. I always leave a little bit of, "Maybe it's actually this way or that. Maybe that's fine.", even if she's part of my time resting in the background of myself.
What if when we experience and show others evidence of our psychic abilities, and develop patterns which turn into proof, leading to success, we're not speaking with ancestors and / or other spirits and different sorts of beings who are in some other realm of reality.
What if each of us is speaking only with parts of the self. Pieces that have fallen away every time we experienced things such as disappointment or sorrow. Things that get gummed up within, and we forget about them, or more often, don't realize we've held on to them.
It's ok. It's great, actually. Whichever way(s) we (people in general) experience reality as we collectively create it mostly in unawareness, we aren't crazy.
And we aren't alone.
The way I've always felt it, the "higher self", "highest self", "oversoul", stuff is all distraction terminology for what is truly the inner and forgotten or neglected self, also known since at least about the 70s as the inner child. I still sometimes use the term highest self out of habit because of its propagation, so I'm going to try not to now.
There is no higher self out or up there. There is no highest self out there or up there.
The natural highs are all to be created and felt within, and shared emotionally with anyone who is consenting and willing to participate in the best way they're able.
People think children or childlike inner energies are weak, but they have a strength to their innocence that when we work with archetypes of always INNER parts / shards to heal, we're grounded enough for long term healing.
When we look to something higher or above, the language is often programming our minds so that we then instinctively look to look for help outside of ourselves such as from a deity, and we suffer, because we experience no change.
It's not a cliche; we each have to heal all of the inner pains we have let stay stagnant inside, to then become healed adults. We all have inner childlike beauties to let grow for ourselves and for the world.
The easy part of this is that if more people would stop looking outside of themselves for all of their problems to be solved, the more well adjusted we would all be in general, and the more we would then be able to help others who are having more difficulties on their "ascension" (which should be integration) path.
The sense of loneliness we sometimes feel, for another planet or a time period in which the world was a better overall place to live in, with more free will being practiced and respected, rather than the huge overbalanced chaos we have, would not exist if the masses would regularly work to ground and centre, more than escaping into phones, casual sexual situations, or any forms of meditative or hypnotic and thus anti-meditative states of heart / mind.
I'm still considering all of this, and changes to more related topics. As you know if you've made it this far, there are many, fun and transformative esoteric subjects, and I plan to write more often like this again.
I used to write these little things a lot, back around the years surrounding 2012, and as I helped others to gently consider other views, so they have helped me.
I have faith this will continue.
There will be more of these, "spiritually intimate diaries", as I become more comfortable knowing that I may possibly feel vulnerable by continuing to publish this stuff publicly.
