ST5 POTENTIAL SPOILERS!!!
GUYS I FOUND THIS ON REDDIT AND ACTUALLY IT'S QUITE INTERESTING
ST5 Leaks/Fleaks
Gen Plot
Season picks up briefly where we left off in 1986 before jumping into either late 1987 or early 1988. The season is contained entirely in apocalyptic Hawkins. Things with the government are shaky. Owens doesn't appear in the beginning of the season and it's unclear if he's returning, but Ellen Stinson is the new Owens. Hawkins is like a combination of the UD and Kamchatka.
Labyrinths/Mazes being important to both the supernatural plot and the interpersonal relationships. They're inherently linked.
Two songs to be featured are 'Listen to Your Heart' and 'Alone,' both of which were apparently foreshadowed in a previous conversation between Hopper and Joyce, similar to how Hopper's "I'm the puppet, you're the master" to Joyce in S3 basically foreshadowed Eddie's 'Master of Puppets' in S4.
S1 and 2 scenes being referenced are "Nancy and Mike's conversation in the bathtub" and "Hopper + Lando Calrissian"
Lots of importance in COLOR CODING and blocking from the final shot of S4, and a good chunk is told in the costuming—like passing the torch from one character to another as their arcs overlap. For example, Hopper and Will share the "am I the curse and therefore putting my loved ones at risk by being near them?" sentiment for S5, therefore their wardrobe in the final shot of S4 is similar. Joyce/Jonathan and Nancy/Mike's costuming also similar for the same reason, whereas Eleven stands out because she's the first one coming into her own this season. The white for her represents shedding of false skins.
Character duos this season will be primarily dressed in colors of blue/green and yellow/red.
There's lots of symbolism and foreshadowing for every character in S5 from the moment Will touches his neck in the last sequence of S4.
S4 focused on themes of lies and miscommunication, and everyone is going to have to work through these lies before they can defeat Vecna.
Murray and Argyle are both back. Dimitri and Yuri don't seem to be in the beginning of the season.
One thing left unresolved with the Russian plot. Something important will happen involving the machine and the green liquid from the Starcourt bunker. Reference of Dustin vowing to die with Steve when they initially discovered it.
Hopper, Joyce, Mike, Will, and El had to be away from Hawkins, otherwise Vecna wouldn't have won.
An important death that they're nervous about given the reception to Eddie (not Joyce or Jonathan—see details below).
Eleven
We'll see her unlike we've seen her before. A badass who doesn't take shit from anyone. Not a Monster, not a Hero, Jane. Think: adult El could be headed for a Charles Xavier type role.
Erica, Lucas, and El will share scenes together.
El has significant blocking and development with many characters this season.
Max, Eleven & Max
The "kaleidoscope of colors" from a script the writers posted makes a feature in both the scene where young El remembers her mother's love in order to defeat Henry in the lab, as well as the scene where El revives Max. This is significant because it's the first time we see El using her powers on someone in a non-violent way.
El was able to revive Max because of she, herself, being revived in the bunker by Brenner and Co. It's a show, don't tell moment from the writers.
Max getting Vecna'd was foreshadowed in the beginning of 2x01.
Will, Henry/Vecna, The UD
Filming was supposed to commence mid-June, but Noah and Jamie were set to begin in May due to more complicated costuming. Will is going to require heavy prosthetics at some point.
Will's character design is blocked in three stages. The more the UD bleeds into Hawkins, the more connected to it he feels. The gates being open will physically influence him, especially when he's not as mentally strong.
He's kind of like "the card up Vecna's sleeve."
It appears they want to confuse the audience about Will.
Will wrestling with his own morality
Henry/Will mirrors. Will will sympathize with Henry because, unlike El, he knows how and what Henry thinks, and he can feel him.
Vecna and Will are very similar, but the difference is Will is made stronger by love not hate. They will play into that duality.
Vecna was nerfed in S4 compared to how we see him in S5. He'll be much stronger.
At the beginning, he'll be taking a hiatus while he plans how to divide and conquer now that everyone's back together in Hawkins.
Soteria will be the key to saving Will. If they want Will to be untraceable to Henry, they'll have to insert it into his neck and it'll be painful. Vecna not having access to Will fucks up his ability to leave the UD.
Byler/Mileven Triangle
Apparently, it's complicated and up in the air as of now.
Mike dealing with guilt this season. He feels guilty/responsibility for El. He feels stuck in a loop that keeps him from a truth he's scared to face.
Will and Mike to spend a good chunk of the season together based on character designs and blocking.
Will telling El that Mike won't like being lied to comes back with the painting. During a pre-time jump scene in 5x01, while everyone's together plotting how to defeat Vecna and brainstorming how to save Max, Mike brings up the painting El commissioned for a D&D analogy. Will has to pull Mike aside and confess he lied about El commissioning the painting. Mike gets angry, because he doesn't know about Will's feelings and feels embarrassed that Will thought he was that pathetic he needed to be given a pep talk. Their own version of a "fight you can't come back from." Immediately after their fight, we get the time skip.
Mike's character motivations are unclear and seem to be kept under wraps. After the time jump, he and El won't be talking as much because he's keeping the details about Will's painting from her. She's gonna ask what's wrong between him and Will, and he lies/is very vague.
Joyce, Hopper, Jopper
Joyce feels immense guilt/responsible over Bob's death since she's the one that asked him to help in S2, which is why she pushed Hopper away at first.
Hopper has a secret from S1 that was never addressed, and it comes back to haunt him.
Joyce sustains an injury in S5 that is reminiscent of the way someone was injured in S3, but it isn't critical and she'll be okay.
Jopper are the most established couple after the time jump. Lots of bickering still, but Hopper trusts Joyce more than he ever has.
Jonathan, Nancy, Jancy
So far, does not seem like a breakup is happening.
Jonathan's still lying about the college letter and distant because of it, and Nancy thinks he's not as into the relationship and that there might be someone else. She confronts him, which leads to a talk. She's touched by the lengths he would go to try and protect her and any of their future children even from himself.
A moment where we're led to believe Jonathan dies but doesn't, like Hopper in S3.
Hopper-Byers Family
These five characters slowly unraveling their arcs together and have always been closely linked. Their perfect endings are together.
We see the family combining, especially in relation to El.
Joyce gets to witness Hopper being paternal and tender towards the boys.
Scenes with Joyce, Jonathan, and Will
Hopper being back lifts a weight off Jonathan's shoulders.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, now time to shine.
''(...) sentiment for S5, therefore their wardrobe in the final shot of S4 is similar. Joyce/Jonathan and Nancy/Mike's costuming also similar for the same reason, (...)''
Okay. How did we see Nancy in S4? Confused. Confused with the love triangle between Jonathan, her and Steve. Jonathan is her actual boyfriend. And Steve is her posible love interest again.
So, putting this in byler language: Nancy = Mike Jonathan = Eleven Will = Steve
If Mike's and Nancy's character's clothing is important at this point of the time line and that means they feel similar feelings, this could mean that byler has a chance. BUT then we read this: ''(...) He (Mike) feels stuck in a loop that keeps him from a truth he's scared to face.'' And
''Mike's character motivations are unclear and seem to be kept under wraps.''
THIS LITERALLY MEANS BYLER. FOR REAL. Like byler could be endgame. Also, remember Eleven's injury in S3? Do you remember the leak of a shoe covered in blood?
It's Joyce. ALSO YOU CAN READ THAT WE'LL HAVE SCENES BEFORE THE TIME JUMP. And here it comes. Look at this freaking hair:
Does this look more like this
or this?
The season 4 bowl cut right? So maybe this is right in some part? I dont know. But that could make sense why Will is wearing Mike's pants, because his clothes were in California by that moment. But i really do think that the pic that was leaked a few days ago is before the time jump.
Im so late with this info haha :) but i kinda think some things here make sense. Even if this is too well explained to be a leak.

Yandere Monster Fucker Concepts
Not a yandere monster. A yandere monster fucker with a darling monster.
Yandere Royal that gets kidnapped by the big snarling dragon. Only to become obsessed with you and not wanting to be saved. Anytime the hero comes, they alert their big dragon love. Watching as you burn the royal's armies to a crisp. They just want a happy little future between them, you, and your children. Don't question them, they will find a way.
Yandere Cult Leader and their eldritch god. They found you when they were at their lowest and viewed you as their saviour. They know that you're not a "good god", it's hard to hold that belief after sacrificing human life to you, but they don't care. They'll sacrifice countless cultists to you if it means that they can be in your good graces. They can't wait for you to finally arrive into their world, you'll destroy everything in your path and create your paradise. And maybe if they pray enough you'll make them your spouse. Or your pet. They'll take either at this point.
Yandere Pirate that unknowingly enters siren territory while sailing with his crew. Crashing into the rocks, leaving them stranded on the damaged ship. Despite trying to fight off the alluring melody, one by one his men begin to jump off the side into the water to be ripped apart by the monsters. Until finally the captain falls victim too, jumping into the water and feeling themself submerge. Only to be met face to face with the siren that had led them here, but they're beautiful, more beautiful then anyone the captain had seen. Their arms outstretched as if to embrace them. But at that moment, the captain was pulled out of the water by another ship of men. They crew quickly covering his ears before he could hear the song again. Able to read the men's lips as they explained that they were headed back to land. But all the captain could focus on was the beast he had just seen, and just how badly he wanted to jump in again.
Yandere Villain that works alongside a vast array of monsters, but only one catches their eye. One of the small kobolds that they had recruited. From the looks of it, they appeared to be the leader of their little group. They were actually starting to think that those kobolds didn't even listen to them, just their little leader. Which was less then ideal, that disloyalty would just make a coup easier to perform. So the villain needed to get closer to the reptilian leader, if they could get closer to them, than maybe they could redirect that loyalty towards themself. But they were cought off guard by the scrappy little thing, they weren't the brightest but they were very cunning. Having set traps all over the villain's lair in case any wannabe heros showed up. And they seemed to have memorized the villain's plans and were already getting their army in on it. Before they even knew it, the villain finally understood why the other Kobolds picked this one to be their leader. And suddenly the little reptiles didn't seem to dispossable.
I have a lot of yandere ideas but I'm too lazy to write them all. So I'm thinking of posting more concepts like this so I can post more often. It was much easier to write for me.
Also I tried to keep both the yandere and the reader gender nuetral. Which was easier said then done. So if this makes no sense, I'm sorry. I tried to make it work.

for 2 years i've been wondering what the connection is between the byler scene and the max scene. like they didn't seem similar at all, but after reading this i realized something.
earlier today i was thinking about the track "Letter to Willy" and wondering why it sounded so familiar. after some listening im 100% sure it's because "Letter to Willy" is a version of "Eulogy", a song from the s2 soundtrack. I'm 100,000% sure and i painstakingly edited this to make it clear to anyone listening
"Eulogy" plays whenever the scene is related to death, more specifically a character who has died. hence the name. a eulogy is a speech written to honor someone who recently died, often times read at their funeral. which is interesting, because the first time we hear "Eulogy", it's not an actual eulogy. so clearly this has a deeper meaning.
here's are all the times the track has played, as far as i'm aware
season 2
2×01 nancy cries about barb in the bathroom
2×01 mike puts his toys in the donation box and remembers el, who is believed to be dead
2×03 hopper shows el the cabin for the first time
2×08 hopper sits with joyce after bobs death
2×08 mike tells the group about how bob founded the av club
season 3
3×01 joyce has a flashback of bob
season 4
4×03 mike and el fight
clearly there is a pattern here. (and for the hopper and el one, if you watch the scene there are multiple references to dead characters. hopper mentions his grandpa, and hides a box of sara's things right before the song plays. this could also be representative of the death of el's old life.)
"This is your new home."
"Home."
so if "Letter to Willy" is 100% directly connected to "Eulogy", what does that mean?
(i'm not sure if "Letter to Willy" plays in more than those 2 scenes, but i'm pretty sure it's just the two so i'll proceed on that)
so we can assume the two scenes are related to someone or something that has died. obviously, max is reading her letter to billy at his gravestone. unknown hero agent man is dead and there is shared imagery of gravestones, but mike and will aren't talking about that when the song plays. they're talking about mikes fight with el, again.
mike and el's fight. the scene that "Eulogy", aka the theme for DEATH, plays in.
mike and el's relationship died during that fight. even mike knows it, he keeps trying to say it in different ways. "A fight you can't come back from." go back and watch the scene, and look at el's face when mike says "you're being ridiculous" she is so so done with him. mike is right, this is a fight they can't come back from.
i also think "Letter to Willy" could be implying that the truth of the situation is being hidden. max later admits that vecna was right, she wanted billy to die and that is a source of her guilt. in the letter she implied she had just frozen and wishes she had done something, but that wasn't the whole truth. it was partly on purpose because billy made her life a living hell.
and with byler...i mean do i even need to say it? mike isn't not telling the truth, but he's not saying the whole truth either. he dances around the reason he didn't say what eleven wanted him to say, he won't even say what that thing is. and if you ask me, a byler truther, this is also indicative of mike and will not outright saying their feelings for each other because they're both closeted.
"Eulogy" plays when mike and el's relationship dies.
"Letter to Willy" plays when mike and will are talking about the death of the relationship.

↱ i just go empty headed around you ↰
➘ summary : Mirio can’t help it, when he’s around her it’s like nothing else matter, his surroundings become only filled with her, she gives him a reason to smile, he feels stronger around her, she’s his peace if not anything more
➘ listening to the song honest by the neighborhood; on repeat as I write this
➘ a/n : I keep seeing this same anon message, so do you guys hate that I write long fics? Like no offense that’s sorta my thing at the moment I don’t like or rather I don’t really enjoy writing short ones though I can. But after seeing it again and again and I’m not sure if it’s from the same anon or different ones but I’m petty so here’s ya damn warning anon ; this is a really really really long fic. If you don’t have patience I would advise skipping this story
The campus of U.A. High School was a bustling hub of activity, students of all ages hustling to their respective classes, engrossed in animated conversations or immersed in their own thoughts. Among the flurry of activity was a tall, bright-eyed third-year student named Mirio Togata. With his characteristic perpetual smile, Mirio exuded an aura of boundless energy that was contagious to anyone in his vicinity.
On a crisp morning, as Mirio made his way to his next class, he unknowingly embarked on a chance encounter that would throw his usually composed demeanor into disarray.
Around a corner, Mirio collided gently with someone, almost dropping his stack of books. "Oh, sorry about that!" he exclaimed, his infectious grin lighting up his face.
As he looked down, his eyes met the gaze of a first-year student, (Y/N), whose eyes widened in surprise. The moment their eyes locked, Mirio felt an odd sensation wash over him. He could hear his own heartbeat, louder than ever, in his ears. It was like the world around him faded, and there was only him and (Y/N) standing in the hallway.
"N-No problem," (Y/N) stammered, a faint blush coloring her cheeks as she recovered from the initial collision.
Mirio chuckled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. "I should've been more careful. Are you okay?"
(Y/N) nodded, her lips curling into a shy smile. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for asking."
His usual poise faltered, his words tumbling out in an uncharacteristic stutter. "I-I'm Mirio T-Togata, by the way. Th-third year."
He watched as (Y/N)'s eyes sparkled with amusement at his stutter. "Nice to meet you, Mirio. I'm (Y/N), a first-year student."
Mirio's mind raced, his usually quick-witted tongue seemingly tied in knots. He found himself averting his gaze, much like his friend Tamaki often did. His heart raced, his mind a whirlwind of thoughts as he tried to maintain his usually cheerful demeanor.
"That's a really pretty name," he blurted out, instantly cringing at his own lack of finesse.
(Y/N) giggled, the sound like music to his ears. "Thank you, Mirio."
He cleared his throat, willing himself to regain his usual confidence. "So, (Y/N), what class are you heading to?"
(Y/N) glanced down at her schedule before looking back at him. "I'm actually on my way to Hero Basics 101."
Mirio's smile brightened. "Oh, really? I'll be teaching there as a student instructor this afternoon. It's a fun class!"
(Y/N)'s eyes lit up with interest. "You're a student instructor? That's impressive!"
He scratched the back of his head, his blush deepening. "Well, I try my best."
As the conversation flowed, Mirio found himself enchanted by (Y/N)'s easygoing nature and radiant smile. Every word she spoke seemed to captivate him, and his once unbreakable self-assurance wavered in the face of her presence.
The bell signaling the start of classes rang in the distance, and Mirio's heart sank. He didn't want the conversation to end, but he knew he had to let (Y/N) go.
"Well, (Y/N), it was really nice meeting you," he said with a genuine smile, his nerves finally starting to settle.
(Y/N) returned the smile, her eyes sparkling. "Likewise, Mirio. Maybe I'll see you around."
As (Y/N) walked away, Mirio watched her with a fond gaze, a mixture of bewilderment and awe filling his heart. He couldn't help but feel that he had just experienced something truly special, something that would linger in his thoughts long after the encounter was over.
Days turned into weeks, and Mirio couldn't shake off the memory of his encounter with (Y/N). He found himself stealing glances at the crowded hallways, hoping to catch sight of her. Each time their paths crossed, his heart raced, his palms grew sweaty, and his usually impeccable charm seemed to desert him.
His friends, Nejire and Tamaki, couldn't help but notice the subtle changes in Mirio's behavior. Nejire raised an eyebrow, a mischievous grin playing on her lips. "Mirio, you seem distracted. Anything on your mind?"
Tamaki, who was usually the shy and reserved one of the trio, piped up. "Yeah, you're acting a bit... off."
Mirio laughed nervously, scratching the back of his head. "Oh, come on, it's nothing. Just dealing with some hero stuff."
Nejire and Tamaki exchanged knowing glances, but didn't press the matter further. After all, they knew that Mirio would confide in them if he wanted to.
However, Mirio's growing infatuation wasn't something he could easily brush off. Each interaction with (Y/N) left him feeling both exhilarated and tongue-tied. He would often catch himself rehearsing conversations in his head, attempting to avoid the stutter that had become all too familiar around her.
One day, as he walked past the training grounds, he spotted (Y/N) practicing her Quirk. He couldn't help but marvel at her determination and grace. Gathering his courage, he approached her with his trademark grin.
"(Y/N)! You're really getting the hang of your Quirk," he exclaimed, his enthusiasm genuine.
(Y/N) turned to him, her eyes lighting up. "Oh, hey Mirio! Thanks! It's been a lot of hard work, but I'm getting there."
Mirio chuckled, a hint of his confidence returning. "Well, hard work pays off. And you've got a great mentor here." He pointed to himself with a wink.
(Y/N) giggled, a sound that echoed in Mirio's ears like a melody. "You're too kind, Mirio."
As they talked, Mirio found himself drawn into (Y/N)'s world. He learned about her ambitions, her favorite classes, and her dreams of becoming a hero. Her passion was contagious, and he couldn't help but feel a deep sense of admiration for her.
Over time, their interactions became more frequent, and Mirio's stutter slowly faded away. He still felt his heart race whenever he was around (Y/N), but he was learning to embrace the feeling rather than shy away from it. The moments they shared became the highlights of his days, and his smile, though always present, seemed to shine a little brighter when she was around.
Mirio was on a journey of self-discovery, discovering that even the most confident people could be struck by love's arrow. And with (Y/N) by his side, he was learning that it was okay to be a little vulnerable, a little lost for words, as long as he was genuine and true to himself.
One sunny afternoon, Mirio mustered the courage to invite (Y/N) to the U.A. campus rooftop. It was a secluded spot with a breathtaking view of the city, and he thought it would be the perfect setting for a heart-to-heart conversation.
"(Y/N), there's something I've been wanting to tell you," Mirio began, his voice steady despite the flutter of nerves in his chest.
(Y/N) looked at him with a curious smile. "What is it, Mirio?"
He took a deep breath, his usual charisma momentarily faltering. "Ever since we first bumped into each other, I've felt something different. You make me feel... well, a bit empty-headed sometimes. And I'm usually the one making people feel that way."
A soft blush crept up (Y/N)'s cheeks, but she maintained eye contact, her gaze unwavering. "You mean you've been nervous around me?"
Mirio laughed, his embarrassment easing away. "Yeah, I guess you could say that. But it's not a bad thing. You see, when I'm around you, I feel like I can just be myself, even if I'm a bit awkward sometimes."
(Y/N)'s smile brightened, her eyes shining with warmth. "Mirio, you've always been yourself around me. And I appreciate that."
Encouraged by her response, Mirio continued, "There's something else I want to say. I've really enjoyed getting to know you, spending time with you, and... well, I can't deny that I've developed feelings for you."
The rooftop seemed to hold its breath as Mirio's confession hung in the air. He watched (Y/N) intently, his heart pounding in anticipation of her response.
A genuine smile tugged at the corners of (Y/N)'s lips, and she took a step closer to him. "Mirio, I've felt the same way. Your energy, your kindness, and the way you're unapologetically yourself... It's made me feel drawn to you."
Mirio's smile widened, his confidence returning in full force. "You know, even heroes get nervous sometimes. But if we're both feeling this way, then maybe it's a good kind of nervous."
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm orange glow over the rooftop, (Y/N) and Mirio found themselves in a shared moment of understanding. Their laughter mingled with the breeze as they opened up to each other, forging a connection that felt deeper than mere infatuation.
And as he held (Y/N)'s hand, watching the city lights flicker to life, he knew that he had found something truly special—a connection that made even the most confident of heroes embrace the butterflies that love brought.
As the weeks went by, Mirio and (Y/N) continued to spend more time together, their bond growing stronger with each passing day. They faced challenges together, supported each other's dreams, and celebrated each other's successes. Mirio's friends, Nejire and Tamaki, couldn't be happier for him as they watched him bloom in this newfound romance.
Mirio's confidence seemed to have reached new heights, but he still retained his endearing quirks. He'd often surprise (Y/N) with small gestures, like leaving a bouquet of flowers outside her dorm room or sharing a homemade bento during lunch breaks. And while he still occasionally stumbled over his words, (Y/N)'s presence had a calming effect on him that made those moments endearing rather than embarrassing.
One sunny afternoon, Mirio and (Y/N) found themselves strolling through a nearby park. They walked hand in hand, their fingers entwined as they enjoyed each other's company in comfortable silence. The rustling leaves and distant laughter created a soothing backdrop to their thoughts.
"(Y/N)," Mirio began, his voice a gentle murmur, "there's something I've been thinking about."
(Y/N) turned her gaze towards him, her eyes curious and attentive. "What is it, Mirio?"
He stopped walking and faced her, his expression earnest. "I know we've been through a lot, and we've both got big dreams ahead of us. But I can't help picturing a future where we face those challenges together."
(Y/N)'s heart swelled, her smile growing as she looked into Mirio's eyes. "Mirio, I've thought about that too. You bring so much positivity into my life, and I can't imagine taking on the world without you by my side."
Mirio's grin was as bright as the sun, his excitement contagious. "That's great to hear! Because, well, (Y/N), I know this might be a bit sudden, but I've been wondering... Would you consider being my partner?"
(Y/N)'s eyes widened, her heart pounding in her chest. She felt a rush of warmth and affection for Mirio, and the answer was clear in her mind. "Mirio, I'd love to be your partner."
As their hands tightened around each other, Mirio's joy was palpable. They stood there, two individuals in a park, sharing a moment that felt like the beginning of a beautiful journey.
From that day forward, Mirio and (Y/N) embraced their partnership with unwavering determination. They continued to grow together, overcoming obstacles and creating cherished memories along the way. Mirio's charisma and (Y/N)'s radiant smile formed a formidable team, a testament to the strength of their connection.
The sun hung low in the sky, casting a warm golden hue over the grounds of U.A. High School. As (Y/N) chatted with her classmates in Class 1-B, a sense of excitement filled the air. There was an upcoming joint training exercise with Class 1-A, and everyone was buzzing with anticipation.
In a quieter corner of the classroom, (Y/N)'s friends Kendo, Tetsutetsu, and Monoma were engaged in a hushed conversation. They shared curious glances, their voices lowered as they exchanged thoughts.
"(Y/N) seems really happy lately, doesn't she?" Kendo remarked, her eyes twinkling with mischief.
Tetsutetsu nodded, a knowing grin spreading across his face. "Yeah, I've noticed that too. She's been all smiles."
Monoma leaned in, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I have a feeling there's something she's not telling us."
The others exchanged intrigued looks, their curiosity piqued. Just as they were about to delve deeper into their theories, the classroom door swung open, and (Y/N) entered with a bright smile.
"Hey, guys!" she greeted cheerfully, taking her seat.
Kendo raised an eyebrow playfully. "You seem to be in an especially good mood today, (Y/N). Anything you'd like to share?"
(Y/N) chuckled, a hint of secrecy in her eyes. "Oh, you know, just enjoying life."
Tetsutetsu leaned forward, his grin widening. "Come on, spill the beans! What's making you so happy?"
(Y/N) hesitated for a moment, her cheeks slightly pink. "Well, there is something I wanted to tell you all..."
Monoma leaned in, his interest evident. "Ooh, juicy secrets! We're all ears."
(Y/N) took a deep breath, her gaze steady as she met her friends' curious looks. "I've been seeing someone."
The room fell silent for a brief moment, the surprise evident on their faces. Then, Tetsutetsu burst out laughing, nearly falling out of his chair. "No way! (Y/N), you sly dog!"
Kendo grinned, her eyes wide with amusement. "And you've been keeping it a secret from us?"
Monoma smirked, a playful glint in his eyes. "Oh, I'm sure whoever this person is must be quite special."
(Y/N) chuckled, her cheeks growing warmer. "Actually, he is."
As her friends bombarded her with questions and playful teasing, (Y/N) found herself explaining her relationship with Mirio Togata, a third-year student. Their surprise was palpable, but it quickly turned into genuine happiness for her.
"Wait, you're dating a third-year?" Tetsutetsu exclaimed, his grin never faltering. "That's impressive, (Y/N)!"
Kendo nodded in agreement. "He must be someone pretty amazing if he caught your attention."
Monoma leaned back in his chair, his expression thoughtful. "Well, I have to say, I did not see that coming. But I'm genuinely happy for you, (Y/N)."
As the conversation continued, (Y/N) felt a sense of warmth and camaraderie among her friends. Their initial shock had quickly given way to support, and she appreciated the genuine happiness they felt for her.
As the joint training exercise approached, (Y/N) knew that Mirio's presence would undoubtedly pique the curiosity of Class 1-B even further. But with the unwavering support of her friends by her side, she was ready to face whatever surprises the future held, both in and out of the classroom.
The day of the joint training exercise arrived, and the atmosphere at U.A. was electric with excitement. Class 1-A and Class 1-B gathered on the training grounds, ready to face off in a friendly competition that would put their skills to the test. As (Y/N) joined her Class 1-B teammates, she couldn't help but feel a mix of anticipation and nervousness.
Mirio had been a topic of curiosity and conversation among her friends in Class 1-B ever since they found out about their relationship. (Y/N) knew that today, they would finally get to see the charismatic third-year hero in action, and she couldn't wait to see their reactions.
As the training exercise began, the participants showcased their Quirks and strategies, each team determined to outwit and outperform the other. (Y/N) and her friends fought with passion, their teamwork and coordination evident as they worked together to achieve their goals.
In the midst of the action, (Y/N)'s eyes briefly met Mirio's from across the field. He flashed her a confident smile, a silent reassurance that boosted her spirits. She knew that he was cheering her on, even from a distance.
During a break between rounds, (Y/N) found herself catching up with her friends. Kendo, Tetsutetsu, and Monoma were huddled together, discussing their observations from the ongoing matches.
"Have you seen that third-year student from Class 1-A?" Monoma exclaimed, his eyes wide with amazement. "He's like a whirlwind out there!"
Kendo nodded in agreement. "Yeah, he's incredibly fast and skilled. I heard he's one of the top students in their class."
Tetsutetsu grinned, nudging (Y/N) playfully. "Hey, (Y/N), you must know him pretty well, right?"
(Y/N) chuckled, her cheeks slightly pink. "Yeah, you could say that."
Monoma's eyes lit up with mischief. "Is he as amazing as they say?"
(Y/N) couldn't help but smile. "Even more so. He's not just an incredible hero, but an amazing person too."
As the training exercise continued, (Y/N) watched as Mirio's team showcased their teamwork and strategy. His charisma and leadership were evident as he coordinated his team's actions and utilized his Quirk with precision.
During the final round of the exercise, (Y/N) found herself face-to-face with Mirio's team. Their friendly competition brought a spark of excitement to the air, and as they clashed in a display of Quirk abilities, (Y/N) couldn't help but admire Mirio's skills from a different perspective.
After the exercise concluded, (Y/N) and her friends reconvened, their adrenaline still pumping from the intense matches. Kendo turned to (Y/N) with a grin. "So, how does it feel to be dating such an impressive hero?"
(Y/N) laughed, her heart warmed by their curiosity and camaraderie. "It feels pretty great, honestly."
Tetsutetsu clapped (Y/N) on the back with a grin. "Well, we're lucky to have a connection to someone like him."
Monoma smirked playfully. "Just make sure to give us some juicy hero insights now and then."
As they shared laughter and stories, (Y/N) felt a sense of belonging and friendship among her Class 1-B companions. Their support and genuine curiosity about her relationship with Mirio reminded her that even in the midst of hero training and competition, the bonds of friendship were strong.
And as the sun set over the training grounds, casting a warm glow over the scene, (Y/N) knew that her journey at U.A. was enriched not only by her own experiences but by the friendships and love that had blossomed along the way.
In the weeks following the joint training exercise, (Y/N)'s relationship with Mirio continued to thrive. Their shared moments of laughter, support, and adventure brought them closer together, and they reveled in each other's company whenever they could steal a few moments away from their busy hero training schedules.
One sunny afternoon, as (Y/N) walked through the U.A. campus, lost in her thoughts, she was interrupted by a voice she recognized all too well.
"Hey, (Y/N)! Wait up!"
Turning around, she saw Mirio jogging toward her, his bright smile lighting up his face.
"Hey, Mirio!" she greeted, a smile of her own forming.
He slowed to a stop in front of her, his gaze full of excitement. "I've got a surprise for you. How would you like to go on a mini-adventure today?"
(Y/N)'s curiosity was piqued. "A surprise adventure? I'm intrigued. What do you have in mind?"
Mirio grinned, his eyes sparkling. "It's a secret, but I promise it'll be a lot of fun. Are you up for it?"
(Y/N) couldn't resist Mirio's infectious enthusiasm. "Of course! Lead the way."
They set off on their adventure, their laughter and easy banter filling the air as they walked through the city streets. Mirio's playful nature and (Y/N)'s genuine curiosity created a perfect balance, and they found joy in the simplest of moments.
After a short while, they arrived at a local amusement park, its colorful attractions and lively atmosphere creating a sense of excitement. (Y/N)'s eyes widened in delight as she took in the sights.
"You brought me to an amusement park?" she exclaimed, her excitement palpable.
Mirio grinned, nodding. "I thought it would be a fun way to spend the day together. Plus, who can resist roller coasters and cotton candy?"
As they explored the park, (Y/N) and Mirio enjoyed the thrill of rides, the indulgence of sweet treats, and the shared laughter that echoed around them. The day was filled with moments of exhilaration and connection, and they found themselves letting go of their worries and responsibilities, if only for a little while.
Later in the day, as the sun began to set, (Y/N) and Mirio found themselves on a Ferris wheel. The view from the top was breathtaking, the city lights painting a picture of beauty and serenity.
(Y/N) leaned against the side of the carriage, her gaze fixed on the panorama before her. "This is amazing, Mirio."
Mirio glanced at her, a soft smile on his lips. "I'm glad you're enjoying it. (Y/N), there's something I wanted to say."
(Y/N) turned to him, her eyes curious. "What is it?"
He took a deep breath, his expression earnest. "Ever since we started spending time together, my life has been brighter and more meaningful. You've brought so much joy into my world, and I can't imagine a future without you in it."
(Y/N)'s heart swelled, her gaze locked onto his as she held her breath.
Mirio continued, his voice unwavering. "I know we're still young, and there's so much ahead of us. But I wanted you to know that I'm falling in love with you, (Y/N)."
Tears of happiness welled in (Y/N)'s eyes as she took in Mirio's heartfelt words. "Mirio, I'm falling in love with you too."
As the Ferris wheel slowly descended, they shared a tender kiss, their connection deepening in the midst of the magical moment. The amusement park around them seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them and the love that had blossomed between them.
Their adventure had brought them closer, reinforcing the strength of their feelings and the depth of their bond. And as they continued to enjoy the rides, the laughter, and the shared moments of wonder, (Y/N) and Mirio knew that their journey together was only beginning, with endless adventures and a love that would continue to grow and flourish.

okay so ii thought this would be fun soooo
what epic saga is ur fav nd least fav, what is ur fav song in each saga, ur least fav in each saga, your overall fav and least fav
feel free to ramble and/or go off on a tangent about hidden meanings i fw that shit very hard
oh boy. these were really hard to narrow down. thanks for this ask btw, it was fun!!
my fav saga :
the underworld!! ik it's the shortest but each song is such a banger and it's the only one for where each song gets better from the last. all three of the songs are in my top 10 easy.
the polites cameo broke ppl's hearts ik but it was amazing to hear steven in the role again. i love his voice. anticlea was amazing too.
no longer you was actual fire. i LOVE epic's version of tirisias a lot and his voice is perfect. the orchestration in that song is actually beautiful and both actors absolutely kill it.
and monster? oh i'll take about monster later
least fav saga :
cyclops saga. i like it but i don't have strong feelings about the songs except for my goodbye. plot wise, it's important ofc but i dont find myself listening to it as often cuz it's just sad. i do like all the songs tho
i will say polyamorous the cyclops sounds REALLY GOOD in the remastered version. woah what a voice improvement holy moly
i really love my goodbye tho. that song is in my top 10. the 'YOU'RE ALONE!' is actually insane. i need like a 100 animatics for it. it's too good.
fav song in each saga :
just a man
i LOVE jay's performance here. this song made me cry when i first listened to it. i mean it's just everything.
i think most ppl thought 'oh musical about odyssey call epic probably silly boyish fun' and for the most part horse and the infant leads u on with that. then THIS SONG happens and ur crying on the floor.
i love watching animatics for it too. unlike most songs in epic, there is no action in this song, it's pure agony of a man grappling with one of the hardest things anyone can do and it's fucking amazing.
and i said it before just now but the VOCALS. stunning. perfect. jaw dropping.
in my ideal epic animated movie, what i want is for horse and the infant and just a man BEFORE the title card drop. and when ody sings the last line of just a man, it fades to the title screen. then it would be daytime and full speed ahead can happen.
idk if that makes sense but i think it would slay so hard.
my goodbye
OH MY GOD. THIS SONG. IT IS HEARTBREAKING
the callbacks to warrior of the mind takes me by surprise everytime like holy shit she really just said that?? then ody's 'YOU'RE ALONE!'
it's perfect. the pure rage from both of them is just so good.
it's my favourite saga ender. it's so cold and just wow. like athena was in one song before but the EMOTION from both of them is enough to make u wanna cry.
ruthlessness
see one part of my brain is like 'oh that's interesting the villain and hero have conflicting moralities and the hero may become like the villain and he is establishing the hero's thinking as flawed for his purpose.' then the other half of my brain is dead from how much steven rodriguez SLAYS the performance.
the lyrics are great as with all the song. the callback to remember them? chef's kiss. poseidon really sat down with his son and took notes for his villain number lol
but my fav things about it the performance. the poseidon voice is so so so so good. and i'm not saying it in a 'haha i find it hot' way. i mean i do but also, it's just perfect for poseidon. he sounds like if salt could talk and that's a compliment btw. his sass and personality is great too.
'but noooo' i just. i love poseidon's voice so much.
and i am shaking in my boots for get in the water.
there are other ways
i love the route jay went with the plot. this portrayal of circe is so important to me, i love her sm. i read the circe book just before the circe saga - and i liked it overall - but the ending left a horrible taste in my mouth so this was a very welcome change.
it's so well done. our boy ody '🥺my wife🥺'-ing his way out of the situation? perfect. ik it's more complicated but the end of the circe saga is such a good character moment for him.
and CIRCE. CIRCE MY QUEEN ILY.
her sympathising with ody and helping him is great. i love that she gets fleshed into, why she does what she does and when she sees the good in ody. she really is a loving queen and i love her sm.
her vocals - especially at the end - are stunning. i love tayla sindal's voice for circe. like with poseidon, that is the perfect voice for the character.
i really love gigi's animatic of this song and that's just how i imagine it happening. it's actually perfect. my fav song was a tie between this and done for but the animatic made me fall in love with this one.
monster
odysseus gives into the pam pam 🦖🦖
it's my favourite song in epic. i have a LOT of thoughts on it but i actually cannot put them into words.
mutiny
this one is fresh so my thoughts will not be cohesive. the amount of callbacks in this song actually kills me.
i cried at the livestream. exactly at the lyric 'ody we're never gonna get to make it home' i mean.
ODY. ODY not CAPTAIN. I CAN'T END THIS. poor choice of words nm
but i will say i've seen some takes on eurylochus that i definately do not agree with and he's one of my fav characters. i'm sad he's gone, his acting and presence was amazing and underrated in all the other sagas and he's just a great character.
least fav in each saga:
i like all of these songs btw. i don't dislike any song. i don't wanna got into detail cuz for all the answer is just i like the others more.
full speed ahead
polyphemous
storm
wouldn't you like
the underworld
different beast
winner : monster
second place : there are other ways
third place : ruthlessness
my overall least favourite song : polyphemous/different beast. again i like these songs, i just prefer others
#epic the musical#epic the musical troy saga#epic the musical cyclops saga#epic the musical ocean saga#epic the musical circe saga#epic the musical underworld saga#epic the musical thunder saga#justbambiithings

Have you heard the song “give your heart a break” by Demi Lovato imagine that as a cute love story for Shigaraki with the female reader?
(I was thinking about just using the song as a story title and then use your imagination and get creative with whatever you choose and just have fun with it?😅)
Give Your Heart a Break - a soft Tomura Shigaraki x fem!reader series
CHAPTER 1 (Minors Don't Interact)
You can read Chapter 2 here.
Notes: You asked for a love story, and you're getting a love story XD. I plan for this to be a continuing series. No overarching goal with this series, just a sweet story about how Shigaraki fell hard for the reader. It will be messy! Shigaraki is not a healthy guy and would be a vile boyfriend, but I will make this as fluffy as possible. Underneath all that homicidal rage is just a boy who was never loved. This is admittedly a very, "I can fix him," kind of story lmao.
Summary: First encounter between Shigaraki and the reader. The whole chapter is literally Shiggy freaking out in GameStop because you walked in and you're so pretty and he wants to talk to you but doesn't know how.
Warnings will come and go as each chapter comes out.
Warnings: The canon of BNHA is altered; quirks still exist but Shigaraki is more of a domestic gang leader than a domestic terrorist lmao. NSFW (no sex in this chapter), Shigaraki is a creep, fluff, blue-haired Shigaraki (season 4ish), CHEESY, Shigaraki hears voices and has very loud intrusive thoughts (they are highlighted in blue and red), POV swings, CLIFFHANGER
Notes about Reader's Appearance and Personality: HEAVILY based off of me. She's shy and polite up front but silly and vulgar with people close to her. She is short and a little thicc. Alternative clothing style and she's messy looking. She is a gamer! She is insinuated to be Shigaraki's age (20), maybe even older. She likes anime! She has crooked teeth.
Tomura wasn't unlike other 20-year-old men in that he found himself checking out girls from time to time. He usually didn't do more than look in his peripheral vision, actually, love and romance and even sex were all things Tomura wasn't acquainted with. There's no way someone so twisted could ever be loved.
Tomura loved giving off the impression that he needed nobody. Even in the League, he isolated a lot while the other members would be doing something together. He'd retreat to his own room and play games or plan out operations, but sometimes he'd retreat so that he could cuddle up with his favorite body pillow and just lay there.
He'd probably kill anyone who ever found out about it, but he was starving for love. To be touched, held, kissed. For someone to play with his hair and be comfortable around him. Everyone's so afraid of him, and that's a good thing! However, sometimes he just wished he had someone, just ONE person who wanted his company. Someone to listen to him rant for hours about how much he hates heroes, someone to play games with, someone to make love to, or someone to just hold for comfort when he was stressed.
He'd commit mass genocide if anyone knew he'd had imaginary girlfriends.
Now, a big scary bad guy like Tomura could get a girlfriend, right?? Just use those scare tactics, hold her by the throat with one finger up, and tell her she has no option but to love him. Steal her, hide her, keep her to himself? Sure, the fantasy was a little hot to him, and he could so easily do it. Tomura didn't want that though. As possessive as he is, he wanted to be loved. Not feared. He's feared plenty.
He'd kill if anyone knew how much pain he's in every time he sees a cute couple walk into GameStop. It pisses him off so bad. Why can't he have that?
"Well, doi, Shigaraki. You're a murderer, a psychopath, and a villain. Just one touch and it's over. What girl is going to want your hands all over her?"
"Whatever."
-
Shigaraki was currently at GameStop looking for a video game he'd been wanting to play. He picked the game and came up with a few fingers, turning it the other way around to read the details. As he was reading, he heard a ding from the door, meaning someone was entering the store. Shigaraki always looked when it went off because he could never be too sure that some hero bounty hadn't tracked him down. He looked over to the door, expecting it to be nothing special.
Whatever Tomura was feeling right now started in his eyes. Goodness, you were so...colorful. Not even! It was funny, considering you were wearing mostly black. However, your pretty hair that was put up in pigtails and your sharp black eyeliner made you stand out like a sore thumb.
You were little, too. Tomura looked in comparison as you stood at the door, seeing that you were only around the 5' mark on the height scale.
The feeling started going to his brain now. You stepped closer and closer to the store, your pumped boots making you seem all big (even tho ur're small), bad, and mysterious. He worried you were going to walk over to his area, but you made a beeline toward the anime section.
"Hehe weeb."
Tomura didn't want to stand out, so he just stayed put, looking at games he was never going to play. He didn't even read the labels, he merely pretended to so he could observe you. He saw the other losers in the store eyeball you, too. That made him wanna kill them for some reason. He wanted to get a proper look at you, but he didn't want you to know that he was blatantly creeping on you. Even if he just looked at you, you'd probably leave the store like that. After all, he was wearing a black hoodie and the parts of his face that were visible were his rather creepy features. He'd scare you off.
He's planned some pretty crazy missions before, surely he could gather intel on you in your short time in GameStop, right?
He wanted a better look at you, so he switched from the PS area to the T-shirts. He even pretended to do a little "aha" at the shirts to make it seem like he wasn't purposely there so he could see you better. When he could get a solid look, though, he instantly needed to know everything about you.
Goodness, he's a simp, huh? You were just so goshdarn cute. Sure, he saw gothic and alt girls around the mall all the time. You looked a bit silly, though. Your makeup wasn't bad, but it was messy. Your hair could probably use some brushing too. You held a phone that had a case of some anime guy, though he didn't know which one.
"Hehe weeb."
Fuck, you were heading his way. He didn't know if he should leave before you were near him or just stay. You kept your distance anyway, as you were standing very far off to the side. Surely, you weren't able to get a good look at the shirts. He stepped back, hoping that you'd be able to tell he was giving you room. You smiled and said, "thank you," going to step forward.
Now the feeling was going to his nuts.
Now that you were in front of him, he got a nice view of the back of you. Not only could he see up close how small you really were, but he got a great view of your more intimate areas. He could tell from your skirt that you had wide hips and thick thighs, which made him pop a tiny smirk while you weren't looking.
"Grab her."
Oh, come on, not now.
Stupid fucking voices. Though, they had a point. She's small and seems polite enough to manipulate. She's thick but probably isn't that heavy in the grand scheme of things. Alone. And she ain't getting nowhere in those shoes.
While his voice distracted him, you had managed to end up at the registrar with a t-shirt in your hand. Tomura didn't really think as he bolted over behind you, he wasn't ready for you to leave. He already had his game that he had to buy so it wasn't like he was in line for no reason.
The feeling started going into his blood. He felt hot, and it was because of the stupid cashier making jokes with you and being friendly. Your laugh. He could tell it was fake, but you were so warm?
"Pet her hair."
Wow, ok, Tomura thought. Sometimes they'd say very bizarre things. Voices were confusing because he could never tell if they were deep-seated desires of his or if his brain just purposely wanted to fuck him over.
She started to pull out her wallet to pay but ended up dropping something. It landed right at Tomura's feet, so he bent down to grab it. A debit card!
"I'm sorry," you laugh nervously.
Tomura made sure to read your name intently before handing it back to you.
"No worries, hah. Guess I got to be somebody's hero today," he joked. Fuck. That was a bad joke wasn't it?
"That'd be the first time a hero has done anything helpful for me, then, haha."
...!
"That was a jab at heroes, wasn't it?" He thought. Now the feeling was in his chest. Maybe he's running with too little information but that sounded like an "I hate heroes," joke. Oh, now he's really got to know you.
"Yeah, maybe if they got off all those stacks they make they'd actually save a life, huh?"
"Hehe! You get it!"
You were smiling at him. And laughing. But not the fake laugh you gave the cashier. Your cheeks also flushed up as you giggled at his insult to hero society and he even got to see your teeth. Crooked, like his. He felt paralyzed, being able to look at you without sneaking it this time.
"I like your hair," you said to him.
Shit. He didn't even notice his hoodie fell off when he grabbed your card. Hopefully, the shopkeeper didn't know what "Shigaraki" was supposed to look like.
"I don't see many guys with blue hair like yours."
His eyes lit up when you said that. He may have even felt a small blush creep on his cheeks. Tomura knew he had an ugly face, one that made people whisper and steadily move away from him. But you complimented his hair instead of getting creeped out by him. "Really?"
"Yea. I like it a lot. Most people go for dark blue, but your color is prettier."
Pretty?!
He could swear that he can see you flustered. Is he making you blush? He didn't even do anything but have blue hair.
"Sorry, that was weird," you stammer, realizing that the word "pretty" could've offended him.
"Oh, no. You're fine! I like your hair too, the way you styled it is cute," he beams, hoping to earn some flirting points. You flashed him an adorable smile back, so he must've struck a chord.
"Ma'am, I don't mean to interrupt, but there's a line," the cashier says, getting your attention.
"Oh, right."
The way your voice shot down maybe two octaves was so funny to Tomura. You were so bubbly and flustered with him and yet so dry and indifferent with this guy. You were so interesting already. It's a good thing he made sure to remember the name on that card. Your name fits you so well, too.
You paid for your shirt and started leaving the store. Fuck, no! He didn't want you to go just yet.
"Stop her."
"Grab her."
"Tell her she's hot."
"jesus christ shut the fuck up!" Tomura mutters to himself as quiet as he could. He was trying so hard to think of how to get your attention again, but before he could, you had already been no where to be found.
"Stupid short bitch, I'll find you."
He may have thought of that one voluntarily.

SOME ILLEGIBLE RAMBLES AND REFLECTIONS: MISSING WYLL
Jumping off my last analytical post for BG3, I actually do want to talk about Wyll a little. Wyll has been the companion I've had the trickiest time sorting thoughts out on. I do have thoughts on him, and frankly I want to invite people who are mainly Wyll fans to chime in if they have any observations that I might've missed! I don't know if this is the best way to explain it, but my perspective is if his story were a song I'd say he has the makings of a beautiful one--but there are notes missing. Notes that really, really should be there . I don't know why they aren't there, or if they've been hidden somewhere I haven't found yet.
As usual, longass discussion under the cut.
Here is my understanding of Wyll currently, without grabbing specific quotes.
Ulder Ravegard is his dad, who was a humble blacksmith who rose to nobility through some exceptional effort and personal achievement. Pull-yourself-up-by-your-bootstraps sort of guy, takes pride in being compassionate and dealing with others in good faith. Raised Wyll not to consider himself better than anyone due to his status, but also seems to have imparted a lot of lawful good mentalities tbh. One thing that stood out a lot to me was a line Wyll said in Act III about how as a kid, he used to pretend to kill monsters in the park all the time. When he became an actual monster hunter as the Blade of Frontiers he had the disquieting realization that most monsters in reality are only people, just like him and his friends. This is interesting to me because it was NOT a lesson he got as a kid, and from how Ulder treats Wyll I don't think it's something Ulder is quite comfortable with himself. I'd go so far as to argue that, while Ulder's definition of 'good' is genuinely very good--it doesn't leave a lot of tolerance for anyone outside that. His compassion only goes so far and no farther. He's a little black-and-white in his thinking.
Side note: Wyll seems to treat being Blade of Frontiers like being a two-dimensional hero in a storybook at times. The Act III line where he admits it's all just messy people was so fucking interesting, and I wish there was more examination of the messy morality of trying to fight monsters or even understand what monsters are for him. Being good isn't easy or guaranteed and the most impressive title in the world doesn't prove you're actually a hero. Actions come before reputation.
Wyll was, according to the previous point, raised to be the embodiment of lawful good as Ulder saw it. Be selfless, don't indulge in finery or status, be noble, make sacrifices for the greater good. With that in-mind, I want to point out that for all Wyll doesn't like courtly life he loves to dance as something more aligned to that courtly lifestyle. It's one of the things he has left that continues to give him joy. It's an indulgence.
Wyll, as raised by Ulder, sacrifices his own well-being and future in his pact with Mizora to ensure no one else in Baldur's Gate came to harm. He was also bound in such a way that prevented him from explaining what happened or why. When Ulder saw his son return home with one eye, pacted to a devil, obviously in a lot of distress and struggling to explain something... Ulder's reaction wasn't to trust his son's morality or feel concern for him. Ulder decided to hurl out all history, all individual understanding of Wyll's character, and chuck Wyll out like he was a pure evil aligned monster and always had been. He just assumed Wyll was the embodiment of every selfish, depraved impulse he could imagine and a traitor to every cause he believed in. He also does not change his mind on this unless forcibly shown through the tadpole what actually transpired. He is not willing to listen or consider alternate perspectives, and I'd argue he loved his son as an abstract concept/extension of his own moral beliefs more than as his own person. (And as an aside: given how Ulder reacted to Wyll without even knowing his situation, do you think he would be ready to show compassion to someone like Astarion who has done horrific things to others under coercion?)
Note, Wyll never actually deals with previous point emotionally. He never allows himself to feel anger or grief over the way his own father treated him. He never lashes out at Ulder on his own behalf for not seeing him as a person, for not treating him as a person, for not loving him as a person or as his son. Ulder talks almost casually about having misjudged Wyll. 'Whoops my bad, I might be an asshole'. We're in a game where Astarion kills Cazador and just starts screaming and sobbing on his knees over everything that happened. Why isn't Wyll pissed off that everything he endured ALONE, the realization that his father never really saw or trusted him, was met with 'whoops'? Why isn't Ulder more horrified over what he did to Wyll? The fact that he isn't so much as in the same breath as other characters expressing anguish makes me think he still, STILL does not understand what he put Wyll through as his father. And Wyll having no reaction other than 'yay Dad likes me again :D' doesn't ring true imo. It's possible to love someone but be absolutely furious with or hurt by them. Mizora was not the only one who did Wyll dirty.
Wyll's pact with Mizora in the first place hinged on Wyll not trusting himself to keep Baldur's Gate safe from the cult of Tiamat AND Wyll not considering himself someone also worthy of protection too. Wyll is part of the tradition 'other people's suffering counts but not mine, I exist to be a shield for others'. I don't think Wyll has ever been taught he is also part of Baldur's Gate who should be kept safe. Self-sacrifice under those circumstances isn't an informed choice but like a self-destructive person offering their life up for cheap, when it isn't strictly necessary. First resort rather than last kinda deal.
Unless I've forgotten something, Wyll breaking his pact is framed not only by Mizora but the narrative as Wyll being selfish and deciding his father should die instead of keeping himself bound. The narrative itself doesn't really challenge this idea even if Wyll does successfully save Ulder unbound by his pact with Mizora. In my experience, out of all the cast members I think Wyll is the only one who is framed as possibly a worse person for opting out of the abusive relationship he's in. I really don't think he should be. Healthy selfishness (self-care, self-esteem) is not a bad thing. We have sayings about not setting ourselves on fire to keep others warm. I don't know why Wyll isn't given room to realize, discuss, and embrace this. In addition to everything else I've mentioned it kind of kills the shape of his character arc imo. Wyll starts off selfless to a fault. Having him remain selfless to a fault and continue making the same choices he did at the beginning sets him up for spiritual death as a character, which would make him staying pacted to Mizora fitting to articulate that concept in a way. He didn't 'sin' against or wrong other people to become a devil, but he absolutely 'sinned' against himself by allowing it to continue. It's total self-destruction and it's tragic. But when he breaks the cycle, in canon any degree of selfishness is still narratively condemned. He only gets "redeemed" if he saves Ulder, in the sense that he is still enforced as a selfless person/he is only so good as he is selfless. ADDITIONALLY! He's given a choice between protecting people as Archduke or protecting people as Blade of Avernus but there isn't actually a whole lot of discussion about Wyll's own happiness regardless of others. Wyll isn't given room to feel ugly emotions, anger on his own behalf, or basic self-preservation without the game itself side-eyeing him. Wyll should not have to be a "perfect" and selfless person to be a good and worthwhile person worth protecting.
Like... what bothers me, is that Wyll isn't given room to express or examine anything. He isn't allowed to feel conflicted or angry. He isn't allowed to want for himself. He isn't allowed to be furious with his father or to wonder if his anger at his father (who he still loves) fuels his desire to break his pact with Mizora or if it's just treating himself like he's worth something too. It kind of feels like the narrative itself is dehumanizing Wyll by denying him room to be selfish at all, even when he really needs to be. Even when it would give room for emotional and complex scenes that could resonate.
When I've thought about what kind of romantic partner would be most interesting for Wyll imo, what struck me was it should be someone who is selfish and actually encourages his selfishness a bit. Not in a corrupting way (even if he worries it might be at times) but someone who can encourage some balance in him and vice versa. I don't think Wyll works as a narrative tool to show how nice another character already is or be their trophy boyfriend. As a character, him being imperfect I think is intrinsically important to him feeling real. And guy really does deserve to feel real, you know?
It's been weird, since Wyll approaches some of my absolute favorite themes as a character for being a hero who needs to understand not being heroic all the time is okay/heroes need protecting too sometimes. But he doesn't really do anything with them currently as far as I'm aware. That's made it harder for me to engage with him. If his romance route touches on it more like then that's awesome. But I feel like if we could see full character arcs for other companions regardless of romance, it should be doable for Wyll too.

Hello! This is random but I remember a post you made defending Aziraphale and you ended it with ‘anything you thought of Aziraphale he’s probably thought of something ten times worse’ and I have ‘Anti Hero’ on my AziCrow playlist most for Aziraphale and I dunno….it matches that he probably has a lot of low feelings towards himself like people say
Hi there. 💕 Hope you're having a great day. There is ice cream because Aziraphale having the blues-- and the blues, in general-- is an ice cream sort of topic, no? 🤗 I could see that song for Aziraphale. Midnights become my afternoons/When my depression works the graveyard shift is so Aziraphale it could have been written by him (and, hey, in Good Omens, that's a possibility, no offense to Taylor Swift lol.)
If you'll indulge me, I have a way of looking at the story that I think goes with what you're saying and might make Aziraphale's negative self-thoughts easier overall to see for anyone who is interested in that.
In S2, but also going back into S1 & the novel, Good Omens has made the bookshop a metaphor for Aziraphale. The show uses the bookshop and Crowley's relationship with it-- giving us more and more information about it as the story goes along-- as a way of helping us understand his relationship with Aziraphale. Symbolically, it's why the bookshop burns down when Aziraphale experiences a form of death when he's discorporated in S1.
The bookshop is not really *just* Aziraphale because Crowley and Aziraphale's relationship means that Crowley is also the bookshop and Aziraphale is also The Bentley but the point is that they're electing to share the bookshop and the car with one another. At the core, though? The bookshop is symbolically Aziraphale because it's his to decide to share.
So, if Aziraphale is the bookshop? Then access to the bookshop is, metaphorically, access to Aziraphale, right?
It's whose voices he's listening to. Who can get in and who can get past the threshold and who Aziraphale tries to keep at arm's length is represented, in many ways, by entry into the bookshop.
So, now think about all those doors and windows in the show, especially in the bookshop scenes. Think about Shax circling the shop all season. Think about her demanding to be let in to the office of Aziraphale's parallel, Beez. Think about Aziraphale listening to a record and having that peace be being interrupted by the anxiety of Gabriel's arrival-- symbolic, in part, for his Heaven-related trauma sometimes interrupting his ability to enjoy his life. Think about the supernatural police in the living room and the fact that we now see that the back room is full of furniture and accessories, as if being stockpiled for a future Aziraphale is struggling to find a way towards. Think about how the only, other one with free reign everywhere in the bookshop is Crowley.
Think about the moments when it becomes clear that the threshold in the bookshop is actually the cash wrap and that everyone-- human, angel, or demon alike-- is capable of getting through the front door and that symbolizing that Aziraphale is an empathetic person who cares about everyone but has put up walls to try to protect himself, like everyone else. Think about Crowley working to keep a demon literally at bay from the bookshop and that demon finding Aziraphale anyway and then getting in his head on his drive back from Edinburgh.
Think about how there is another shop-- one for which Aziraphale likely owns at least the land and maybe also the building, so it's symbolically Aziraphale as well-- to which he loves to go more than almost anything-- the magic shop around the corner.
It makes him happy and is something he loves and works hard to learn. It represents how much he loves living life on Earth... but this has, in the past, been his reaction as to whether or not he should go into the shop and explore that passion more:
Humans. He means it's for humans only.
The professional conjurers who shop at Goldstone's are human, working, professional magicians and if Aziraphale had the chance to live his ideal life, he'd live it being one of those and living in a seaside cottage overrun by books and plants with Crowley. Not an angelic ambassador and not a bookshop owner-- these are compromises to him. The bookshop ownership is so he can have a place to store his books; the embassy is so he can have privacy and a house. Aziraphale lives a compromise of a life. He is very clever and very brave about carving out one for himself and Crowley-- notable because, according to Heaven, he's not supposed to want a life for himself at all.
Being an angel is a constant feeling of having been made by God to be not a human-- despite the fact that his own wants and needs are no different from many humans. In this way, he's similar to humans who come from very religious families or to a progressive priest who lives in a constant state of conflict between the limitations of his vocation and his desire to be more of a part of the world, instead of always needing to be one step removed from it.
It's also something of a queer metaphor. Aziraphale is refreshingly fine with his queerness but his feelings of being "other" in his societies are represented by the fact that while he lives as an angel amongst the humans, both the human world (via his queerness) and the supernatural world (via the fact that he's an "unusual" angel) are designed to make him feel like he doesn't belong and that the world isn't for him. That has been his experience for a very, very, very long time-- with him maybe only slightly beginning in S2 to start to feel safe in the idea that enough might be changing for that to start to look different for both the world as a whole and him individually in the future.
That's essentially his struggle in S2. He no longer works for Heaven and he has no idea what a non-working angel is or how to define himself, exactly, but Gabriel nails Aziraphale's whole conflict in a sentence in 2.01: "You know when you don't know anything and yet, you're certain that everything would be okay if you could just be near this one, particular person?"
Aziraphale knows he's a mess over Heaven abandoning him and that Crowley is being lovely about it (not like Crowley doesn't know what that's like from his fall) but Aziraphale is trying to figure out how to get to the other side of it. It's hard to do because Armageddon 2.0 could be around the corner any day and there is still a lot of danger for he and Crowley in being openly together that is coming from the supernatural world, if less now from the human world.
Aziraphale doesn't know what to do about the bookshop-- which, as we've said, is symbolically Aziraphale himself. He doesn't know what to do about himself and his life or if he should really be able to do anything because to say he wants to and make a big move in his life is to declare openly not only that he has one in the first place, which he still often likes to pretend he doesn't, but it's allowing himself to view himself as a person who, just like everyone else, has needs in life that need to be met, and accepting that it is okay to go after them.
There's a religious teaching known as "the devil takes the hindmost" that I think the show is referencing a bit with Aziraphale. Mrs. Sandwich actually refers to it without knowing she is when she says "the devil take it"-- an old curse that came out of the teaching but doesn't quite mean the same thing. The central idea from the way "the devil takes the hindmost" was explained to me is that everyone knows being a selfish person is a bad way to live but, equally not good? Is being too much of a self-sacrificing person.
There is nothing wrong with being as kind and generous to others as you can. Nothing wrong with it at all. It's when it crosses from that into a state of being so self-sacrificing that you never make yourself a priority in your own life that it becomes damaging not only to yourself but to those around you.
When you deny yourself what you need while bending over backwards to help everyone around you, it builds a kind of stew of misery in a person. It leads to anger, depression, anxiety.
The longer it goes, the worse it can get, and the more at risk a person is for falling into a state of despair.
When you shut out those around you and don't let yourself have the love and care you need, you are inviting in the devil and "the devil" here can be viewed in a secular way-- it can just mean darkness.
This is how "the devil" (on Good Omens, likely *literally* Satan at the end of S2) can get fundamentally good people. The devil takes the hindmost-- he takes the people left at the back of the pack. Some of those people are at the back of the pack simply because they have put everyone else in front of them and shut out the attempts of others to protect and love them in return.
I think this is what's happening with Aziraphale.
In S2, we see in 1941 that there are times when the imposter syndrome and the depression gets so bad for Aziraphale that he will do things like shut himself off from his pursuit of human magic. He'll not go to Goldstone's, not let himself practice and perform-- even though it's harmless, he loves it, and it makes him happy. In a lot of ways, that's a form of self-harm. It's a form of self-torture, really.
It's also not much different from how he seems to fluctuate between indulging in things that are healthy pleasures and retreating guiltily from him. The same angel who went wild with some ox ribs back in the day had a grand total of a sip of sherry, a sip of tea and a travel sweet for the entirety of S2 in the present. The four eccles cakes still sitting on that plate are a cry for help.
Objectively, he sees nothing sinful or wrong with food (or its euphemistic parallel of sex) and has pretty healthy attitudes towards both-- except for when his depression is in full-swing and then, ironically, just like as is the case with many humans? His capacity for pleasure is diminished because his negative thoughts are getting in the way. He eats less. He has trouble getting in the mood. He shuts down and talks to Crowley about his feelings less, causing Crowley to gripe to Shax about ducks needing to talk about their frozen peas and who better to know that than Crowley himself, who is very similar?
He was in one of those low places until the events of this night in 1941 that we've been watching gave him an excuse to do some magic to help Crowley. He was depriving himself of a harmless thing he enjoyed out of guilt that it wasn't for him, telling himself he was weak for wanting it and silly to think that he might be able to enjoy it like a human because he's not one of them... even if he is just like them.
Surely, they'll smoke him out because he's not one of them, right?
It's the same thing as imposter syndrome is for humans.
It's the way, later on, during the performance, Aziraphale begins it with: I'm sure you're all thinking... what's that *man* doing up there? and calls himself and his magic "jiggery-pokery"-- an act, in more ways than just a magic performance on a stage.
Crowley-- who has his own myriad of mental health struggles-- supports Aziraphale flawlessly here in a way that hurts so good because the series of unfortunate events of the present of S2 means Aziraphale was denied this when he probably needed it more than ever. It was just right in 1941, though.
He reassures Aziraphale not just by saying that he's clever at human magic but that what makes him a person, like the humans or anybody else, is that he's "about to perform on the West End Stage"-- meaning, both that everyone, to some extent, is play-acting a role when in public and Aziraphale's anxiety over feeling separate from the humans, ironically, is the same thing as is experienced by many humans. He says that Aziraphale trying at life and taking this risk to perform his magic show... allowing himself to live a life of his own... allowing himself to do something he likes, to contribute something directly of his own to the world and accept that it's his, too... and that he is willing to be that vulnerable and that brave and that human to help Crowley because he loves him?
That makes him like the humans. That makes him full of their sort of magic, too.
If living a life of his own, if being willing to take a risk, if pursuing happiness, if being in love and letting that make him even more brave than he already is doesn't make someone a "professional conjurer"-- a person-- then Crowley doesn't know what does.
It melts the anxiety out of Aziraphale...
Look at all his pain just fall away for a moment when the person he loves reminds him it's okay-- you get to be a person too, you know.
It's what makes "just enough of a bastard to be worth knowing" honestly the loveliest possible way Crowley could ever say to Aziraphale that he loves him, as it's saying that Aziraphale is a whole, imperfect person who is worthy of love just as he is.
But now? Go back to the present of S2 and think about how demons, collectively, can represent a person's inner demons-- their negative self-thoughts and struggles-- and that the entire climax of S2 is a bunch of demons showing up at the bookshop door.
When do they show up?
Just when Aziraphale has let in everyone under the sun in an effort to finally let himself live the more open life he craves but struggles to allow himself to really have, due to his perfectionism. He's "supposed" to be a perfect angel, remember... he's "supposed" to be superhuman...
Think about what it says that the pack of demons is led by Shax, played by Miranda Richardson, who played Aziraphale for part of last season, as well as the character with whom he shared a mind and a body for awhile?
It has the effective of Aziraphale almost talking to himself a bit, which is added to by Shax's unnerving ability to sound like she's parroting people's dark inner thoughts back to them. (Likely because she kind of is, especially with Maggie.)
The demons get in because Maggie-- a woman just like Aziraphale, with her own struggles with negative self-image, who parallels Aziraphale. Like him, she is exhausted and angry and fed up and she tries to rid herself of those thoughts but, also just like him, she goes too fast, tries too much at once, and she makes mistakes that cause the negative thoughts to worsen.
It's Maggie who can let the demons into Aziraphale's bookshop because she's humanity to him; she represents his long history with it and she's the closest human to him currently in his life. She's family and your concerns about your family's welfare can sometimes bring about your own struggles. The bulk of S2's plot is made up because Aziraphale is trying to help Maggie and protect Gabriel-- trying to help the two people not named Crowley who are his family from both worlds he inhabits-- and he involves Maggie in that because he feels like he messed up with her earlier in the season. His own anxiety led him to say something unintentionally callous to her when he implied that it would take a miracle for Nina to see her as a viable partner and then spends the season trying to fix that.
The bookshop is Aziraphale and the bookshop is under attack by demons. The bookshop attack is, in a lot of ways, symbolic of an anxiety attack. It's part of Aziraphale's mental health breakdown that is the end of S2.
It hurts even more because Aziraphale is such a strong person-- and that's the point. People who have mental health struggles aren't weak people. They are strong for what they have to put up with in their own minds everyday just to keep going forward.
Sometimes, that's easier said than done, though. Sometimes, a series of unfortunate events happen and conspire to take someone already on the edge a bit and start to push them over it. It doesn't mean that it's ultimately insurmountable. As Gabriel discovered, every book will fall-- every person, at some point in time or another, will have some form of mental health struggle to some degree. But you know what go back up?
Flies.
If you let others in and let them give you the love and protection and help that you give back to them then all of you will be okay and none of you will be left behind to the darkness.
Gabriel himself is proof of this. He let Beez, Crowley and Aziraphale in and he let them all help keep him safe and what happened as a result of that?
The Devil can't see him. The darkness can't find him.
After all, if Aziraphale owns most of Whickber Street then the humans of The Whickber Street Shopkeepers & Traders Association are all characters in their own rights, yes, but they actually represent different aspects of Aziraphale, and Crowley and Aziraphale. As the attack on the bookshop worsens (so, as Aziraphale's metaphorical breakdown worsens), Crowley saves our Whickber Street gang from the demons, right?
Out the front door of Aziraphale's bookshop go characters representing everything positive in Aziraphale's world that keep the darkness of his demons at bay: love, sex, romance, healthy communication, food, love of stories, history, creativity and making art, music, a sense of free self-expression, special occasions, human magic, etc..
Because that's what happens when anxiety and depression and the negative self-thoughts symptomatic of them start to rob you from the wonders of life that make it worth living, is it not?
With what does Aziraphale then have left with him in his bookshop to fight his demons?
He has knowledge of how to do so from him and Crowley working together to fight Crowley's own (represented by the fire extinguishers). He has Gabriel and Maggie-- the angel and the human with issues of their own who represent the closest things Aziraphale has to family from both of the worlds he's been living in-- and Nina, whose American-themed coffee shop represents the liberation and freedom Aziraphale would like to permanently have-- both from the Heaven/Hell misery and from his own negative thoughts. They work together to help protect Aziraphale the way that he helps to protect them. They use Crowley's fire extinguishers to do it. They use old encyclopedias (books/knowledge/the experience of other people) to try to help.
But others can only help so much. They are invaluable resources and great support but, in the end, it's up to an individual person whether or not their bookshop is going to be overrun by their demons.
So, how does the bookshop attack end?
How does Aziraphale get the demons to stop attacking when he finally can't take any more?
He takes off his halo and blows it up.
The actual demons on the show cannot withstand the halo because they're also symbolic demons. If you take off your halo-- if you allow yourself to be an imperfect person and accept that you are one and you don't need to be any different from who you are-- then you are setting yourself free from your own inner demons.
Aziraphale is breathing anxiously when he takes off his halo. It physically hurts him to do it, as struggles with mental health can do a number on the body. The halo doesn't sit *above* his head, it sits *around* his head. It's tight. It's a vice that has his mind in a grip and it takes effort to break free of it.
That's why Heaven hates angels blowing up their halos-- it's a declaration of independence. It's asserting a more full sense of autonomy over themselves.
A halo is mental suffering. It's also Crowley's laurel wreath digging into him in Rome and Bildad's headwrap. It's Maggie's headbands. It's the strap holding Muriel's hat on. It's the crown of negativity that Pollution spreads across the world.
And what happens sometimes when you blow up your halo?
Sometimes, it can be quiet for a little while, but if you aren't fully ready or you don't let yourself have enough support, it can all come back not long after-- and, sometimes, even worse.
That's really the war Aziraphale started by blowing up his halo.
He triggered an inner battle within himself, represented by the other characters in the story in 2.06.
Sometimes, someone can convince themselves that it's all over and everything is, if not great, getting better, when it's really not yet all over at all.
Like, say, the mistake in thinking that the halo fully stopped the bookshop from being attacked by darkness by forgetting that all the demons of Hell had already been let in behind Shax before Aziraphale blew up his halo and, as a result, that the door to the ultimate darkness-- Satan-- was still wide open the next morning.
Aziraphale will ultimately be alright. He is far stronger than he thinks he is. If you fall, you can get back up, and the best is yet to come for him but where we left him was in a not-so-great place. No one ever asks for death. They ask for coffee. They yearn to be free. But, when the thoughts get to be too much, the worst of them might start to whisper you could leave the bookshop to Muriel and Crowley might be better off without you and How much more of all of this can I really take? Maybe it would be a relief for it all to stop...
If coffee is freedom, a coffee from The Devil is the lure of death.
The elevator is a kind of death. Getting into the elevator-- after suspecting he was being tempted and then knowing with certainty to whom he was speaking since the reveal of 'The Second Coming' and knowing the offer was a lie-- was attempted suicide.
With despair comes temptation and all the dark thoughts at once, loud as ever. The end result of the bookshop attack is that, come the next morning, there was only one other voice that Aziraphale could clearly hear. He followed it into light and "went to Heaven"...

True Love Ending — Harmony of Tears
Syo-kun sang a cute pop song with all his might.
To be honest, I think he wanted to sing a cooler sounding song.
He suggested that I should make a song that takes advantage of his appearance and voice.
The things you want to do and what you are actually good at are different.
He said that if he was going to compete, he should try to meet everyone's expectations.
That's why the song he's singing is very much like him.
It's cute, but at the same time, stylish.
Female Student A: What's this? It's such a cute song, but I'm starting to cry.
Female Student B: Yeah, me too… This is such an amazing song… I feel happy just listening to it.
Male Student A: That guy's a shorty, but he's amazing… I'm nowhere near as good as him.
Syo-kun is using this performance to proclaim with all his might that this is who he is.
That he's this charming.
He doesn't let on that he has a heart condition. He grabs people's hearts with his energetic singing and doesn't let them go.
Then…
Kaoru Kurusu: Syo-chan… This is the first time I've ever seen him like this… He’s… become strong…
It seems that Syo-kun's feelings have reached Kaoru-kun.
Syo Kurusu: Haa, haa, haa… Thank you for watching!
Syo-kun screams out after he finishes singing, out of breath.
At that moment…
Yeeeah! Shouts of joy and applause ring out and continue for some time.
Syo-kun walks over to where the other contestants are in the corner of the stage.
Without hesitation, I run to the stage and stand by his side to hold him up.
He should be in so much pain that he could fall over at any moment… but Syo-kun's smile never fades. He keeps standing where he is.
For the graduation audition, nine judges, including the principal, and the audience vote on who wins.
The nine judges give a score up to ten points each.
The audience votes on which student they think was the best, and the student that gets the most votes from the audience gets another ten points. Second place gets nine points, and it goes down to tenth place.
The person who gets the most points overall gets first place, becomes a new idol in the Shining Agency, then aims to become the top idol.
For the students who don't win first place, anyone that gets more than 85 points can still join the Shining Agency.
Furthermore, there are people from other agencies that come to watch our audition…
Even if we don't get into the Shining Agency, there's a chance that another agency would ask us to join them.
But I'm sure that Syo-kun wouldn't be satisfied unless he's number 1…
Syo-kun shined so brightly just now, so I'm sure it'll be fine. We can win…
Ryuya Hyuga: We’re ready to announce the results… The winner of this year's graduation audition is Syo Kurusu!
When his name is called, Syo makes a wide grin and lets go of my hand.
He takes in a deep breath and slowly walks to the center of the stage.
Ryuya Hyuga: You did great. You really put in your 100% into that song.
Syo Kurusu: I am honored! Thank you very much!
Syo takes the trophy into his hands with utmost confidence that it's what he’s deserved all along.
Ryuya Hyuga: You've really grown, kid. You're not the kid that needs to be protected by somebody. You're a grown man who can protect someone with that strong back of yours.
When Hyuga-sensei makes a satisfied grin, tears well up in Syo-kun's eyes.
He must be feeling emotional from being praised by his hero he looks up to.
Shining Saotome: Once your body becomes healthy, you'll be perfect! Get properly cured, you hear?
Syo Kurusu: Roger!
After that, we immediately go to the classroom that has been designated as a break room.
Syo Kurusu: … Haa, haa, haa… Damn it, this needs to calm down… Ha, haa, haa, haa…
Syo-kun's heart is at its limit. He didn't stop smiling on stage, but he must've been in extreme pain.
Haruka Nanami: Let's take a break, okay?
I hug Syo-kun tightly.
Syo Kurusu: … Ha, ha… I'm being so uncool… We won so… I wanted to hug you to celebrate…
Haruka Nanami: Syo-kun…
Kaoru Kurusu: Syo-chan! So you are having an attack… Here, take this. Also, take this and this.
Kaoru-kun takes out medicine and a bottle of water from his bag and makes Syo-kun drink it.
Kaoru Kurusu: My word, you always push yourself too far, Syo-chan… I felt like I was watching your life shorten. Nonetheless… your song was great.
Haruka Nanami: Kaoru…kun?
Kaoru Kurusu: You've become stronger, Syo-chan. You aren't just putting a front anymore. You really have become strong.
Your song proved that to me.
But… if you go overboard and collapse again, that'll all be for nothing.
You've been an idiot ever since we were kids… Your personality hasn't changed even if you've become stronger.
Syo Kurusu: … Haa… Idiot… It takes one… to know one…
Kaoru Kurusu: You're in that much pain and that's all you got to say? You really are stupid…
I can't keep up with you. Go to the States or wherever.
Haruka Nanami: Kaoru-kun…
Kaoru Kurusu: Then… once your stupidity and heart both get cured, sing me a song again.
I believe with the way you are now, you will definitely be cured.
Syo Kurusu: Yeah… You can count on me… It's a promise.
He grins and passes out in my arms with a sigh of relief.
Haruka Nanami: Are you… absolutely sure?
Kaoru Kurusu: Yes. Even if he were to never undergo surgery, it doesn't seem that he'll give up trying to become an idol.
Even if I were to try to stop him, he'll do whatever it takes to get his way. If he's just going to collapse from pain every time, I would rather want him to get cured right away.
I didn't believe him at first, but now I have no more doubt in my mind that Syo-chan will survive…
Haruka Nanami: Yes, I think so too.
Kaoru Kurusu: I wanted to cure him myself… but as long as Syo-chan becomes healthy, I'm fine with anything.
As for you, are you fine with being left alone? You care about Syo-chan just about as much as me… no, even more than me…
Haruka Nanami: I'll be fine. I can wait because I believe in him.
Kaoru Kurusu: I see… You're strong. You must be the reason why Syo-chan became strong, too. I'm a little jealous.
I'm going now. Tell Syo-chan congratulations for me after he wakes up.
Haruka Nanami: Yes, I will.
Kaoru-kun has given Syo-kun permission to go to the States.
Thank you.
Today, Syo-kun flies to the States.
Syo Kurusu: … It's time… I have to go. Don't cry when I'm not around to keep you company, okay?
He pats my head twice.
Haruka Nanami: Yes… I'll do my best.
I feel like I'll burst into tears at any moment…
But I know that would just cause trouble for Syo-kun… I hold back my tears by clenching my hand into a fist.
Syo-kun grins and lets go of my hand.
No. I don't want him to go.
That thought almost leaves my lips but I keep it inside.
Haruka Nanami: U-Um… Here's a charm for you…
My hands trembling, I give Syo a small bag containing a crystal.
Syo Kurusu: A charm? That’s so like you. Here, have this.
Syo-kun takes off his hat and places it on my head.
Haruka Nanami: Huh…?
Syo Kurusu: Think of this as me. It's like a charm, I guess.
Haruka Nanami: Thank you…
I shouldn't cry, but… I feel like my tears are going to overflow at any moment. I need to hold them in.
I need to see him off with a smile. Tears, please listen to me, don't fall…
Syo Kurusu: Don't get the wrong idea. I'm only lending this to you, got it? Give it back to me once I return.
Haruka Nanami: Okay.
So this is really goodbye…
Syo Kurusu: Don't give me that miserable look. Smile! I'm about to go on a new journey!
Haruka Nanami: … Okay.
I hold in my tears and force a smile.
Syo-kun smiles and embraces me tightly.
Syo Kurusu: Good! You're a great partner! … Or rather, should I call you my girlfriend? I get a little embarrassed at the thought, though…
He grabs my shoulders and looks at me in the eyes.
Syo Kurusu: Now that I think about it, I haven’t acted much like a real boyfriend to you yet…
Syo-kun pauses to think and then kisses me on the forehead.
Haruka Nanami: Syo…kun?
Syo Kurusu: Once I get back, I'll give you a proper kiss on the lips! Pray that my surgery will go well!
Haruka Nanami: Of course!
I nod, then Syo-kun flashes a satisfied smile and runs towards the gate.
Natsuki Shinomiya: He left.
Kaoru Kurusu: … Yeah. Syo-chan never drops his guard, does he? Oh well, that's just him being him.
Haruka Nanami: Shinomiya-san, Kaoru-kun… If you came, why didn't you say anything?
Kaoru Kurusu: We thought it would be bad to interrupt.
Nanami-san, you did your very best. You can cry now.
Haruka Nanami: But Syo-kun told me not to cry…
Natsuki Shinomiya: Yes, that's why today, you should part with your tears.
When Shinomiya-san rubs my head, my tears overflow.
I begin to bawl.
Several months pass with no message from Syo-kun.
I have texted him several times, but he has never replied, and he wouldn't pick up his calls.
I have no idea if he's doing well, or when the surgery is, or if he has been cured…
I know nothing at all. I want to see him and hear his voice. I'm just so, so lonely.
I promised him that I wouldn't cry, but there have been many times when my tears would almost overflow.
It'll be okay, I'm sure of it. Syo-kun will come back better than ever.
It'll be okay…
I've told myself that repeatedly and endured my anxiety. The only thing I can do is believe and wait for him…
Haruka Nanami: A text? … Syo-kun?
This is the first text I got from Syo-kun ever since he went to the States…
"The surgery was a success! I'll be back soon!"
The text is brief, which is very much like him.
Haruka Nanami: He's… coming back…
I'm so happy that tears almost fall from my eyes.
Soon after…
… A phone call?
Haruka Nanami: Yes? Hello? Who is this?
Syo Kurusu: Hey, it's me. Did you see my text? Sorry, I didn't have much battery left, so I couldn't type more than that.
That's why I'm calling you now through a public phone. Um… ahh, I can't word! A-Anyway, I'll be back!
Haruka Nanami: Syo-kun!
I haven't heard his voice in such a long time.
Syo Kurusu: … Sorry that I've taken so long to reply. I knew if I heard your voice, I’d want to go home as soon as possible… so I decided to wait until I was fully recovered before contacting you, but it took so long.
I just realized that I could've just sent you a text, too… Sorry. I'm actually at the airport right now. I'm about to get on the plane.
Haruka Nanami: Huh…? You mean you're at the Los Angeles airport?
Syo Kurusu: Yeah, I'll arrive at Narita in twelve hours. … Do you want to see me as soon as possible?
Select The Phrase!
1) 会いたい。I want to see you.
Syo Kurusu: I see! I'll be back as soon as possible! There's a flight that arrives a little before five o' clock, so wait at Narita for me!
Haruka Nanami: Okay! I'll be there, so come back soon!
I'll get to see Syo-kun in half a day's time. He's finally coming back!
2) 無理しなくていいよ。Don't push yourself.
Syo Kurusu: Huh? Don't you want to see me as soon as possible?
Haruka Nanami: Of course I do, but if something happens if you rush, I…
Syo Kurusu: What do you mean by that? Anyway, I'll reserve a flight, so go to Narita! I'll arrive just a little before five o' clock. Wait at the airport for me!
Haruka Nanami: Okay! I'll start preparing right now! I'll go as soon as possible!
I can finally see him… He'll be recovered and well!
I come to the airport two hours before Syo-kun's flight is about to arrive.
I couldn't wait any longer.
I'm so happy that I'll get to see Syo-kun today… I feel like I'm going to cry.
If I end up sobbing when he arrives, he'll surely berate me for crying…
Syo-kun… I want to see you soon.
As I watch the arrival gate, the people around me make an uproar.
Haruka Nanami: What happened?
I become inexplicably anxious.
My gut instinct turns out to be right.
There is news that the plane that Syo-kun took crashed into the Pacific Ocean.
Haruka Nanami: No… Why? That can't be.
Why? The surgery went well…
We were going to spend so much time together…
And yet… there was a crash? This must be a mistake.
There's no way. Syo-kun, you must be okay, right?
I ask Syo-kun, wherever he is, as I tightly hug the hat he lent me.
…
No matter how many times I look at the news, the plane that crashed is still the same plane that Syo-kun boarded.
Even the follow-up news did not update that information.
There is no report whether or not there are survivors.
Even so, I kept praying. Please, save Syo-kun.
Please let me see him at least one more time.
He has tried so hard to get a chance at happiness. Don't let his life end here.
Haruka Nanami: It's because I told him that I want to see him as soon as possible…
If I just told him that he could take his time, or that he could board the next day, this wouldn't have happened…
Haruka Nanami: I'm so sorry…
The tears I have been holding back fall one by one, until they all start overflowing.
I promised him that I wouldn't cry.
And yet…
My tears soak his hat that I'm holding in my arms.
Haruka Nanami: Syo-kun…
Syo Kurusu: Did you call me?
Haruka Nanami: Huh…?
I raise my head and see Syo-kun before me.
Haruka Nanami: How…? Syo-kun, is that really you…?
I doubt what I'm seeing and for a moment, and think it's a dream.
Syo Kurusu: Of course it's me. I'm standing right here! Also, why are you crying? I forbade you from doing that.
Haruka Nanami: But your plane… It crashed… Why are you here?
Syo Kurusu: You told me to come as soon as possible! Someone canceled their seat on an earlier flight, so I switched over to that.
Haruka Nanami: … So you really are Syo-kun? You're not a ghost, right?
I reach out and touch his cheek.
He's warm. He really is alive.
He's alive and right in front of me.
Syo Kurusu: Don't kill me off! Also, stop crying! I won't go die and leave you behind!
He embraces me tightly.
Haruka Nanami: Okay.
Syo Kurusu: I told you that I'll protect you. You're such a crybaby. Have you started crying more easily when I haven't been around?
Haruka Nanami: Yes, that might be true… I've been very lonely. I wanted to see you as soon as possible.
Syo Kurusu: I wanted to see you too. I wanted to hug you this whole time. I felt like I was going to go crazy when I wasn't with you.
I've come to realize that I want and need you so badly. I'll keep holding onto you. I won't let anyone else touch you.
You're mine for the rest of your life! I'll be with you forever, and I want you to keep smiling beside me.
Haruka Nanami: Yes!
I smile and Syo-kun smiles back.
Syo Kurusu: Thank you, Haruka! I love you!
Haruka Nanami: Ah…
Syo's lips brush mine for a brief moment.
Syo Kurusu: Ah, hold on– I wasn't thinking! Redo! Give me one more chance! Haruka, I'm in love with you! I will make you happy, so be with me forever…
Haruka Nanami: Yes. I love you too, Syo-kun.
Syo-kun grins and leans in.
Syo Kurusu: Mm…
Haruka Nanami: Mm…
Unlike the kiss from a moment ago, this one is passionate.
Syo Kurusu: I love you. I'll be with you always!
We hug tightly once more.
After that, I work hard to support Syo-kun to achieve good results.
The principal gives us a pass and allows us to date each other as long as we keep our relationship a secret.
Now with a more physically resilient body, Syo-kun begins to incorporate more dancing while singing.
We still can't tell everyone that we're dating, but…
I'm happy just holding onto his warm, steadfast hand…
I want to be by his side as his partner for the rest of my life, forever and ever… for all of eternity…
I LOVE YOU!
Thank you for playing.
Fin.

Eurovision 2024: #16
16. PORTUGAL Iolanda - "Grito" 10th place
youtube
Decade Ranking: 56/153 [Above Circus Mircus, below Alika]
OH NOES THE FINGERNAILS!! SO BLATANTLY POLITICAL!! I legit had to zoom and enhance to even NOTICE, jesus christ EBU.
For an entry that I have ranked relatively high, Iolanda is such a pain to write about? I feel like the appeal and placement are both obvious? There are also no real fun things about it? It's all fairly cut and dry (hence why I skipped yesterday to give myself extra think time for the write-up).
I find it hard to believe that anyone can muster up feelings beyond 'yah this is good, next one please' for a song of Grito's calibre. Especially over the more immediate (read: better) "Pelas Costuras"?
That said, I must soldier on and write a few more words. "Grito" is actually a pretty competent Growth Ballad. It starts slowly but then gradually builds up the tension. It handles the overcoming of inner demons with a beautiful touch of melancholy (it IS Portugal after all), and never stays too long in its phases.
In other words: it dodges the main pitfall of many other cerebral ballads: Despite what Joel and Myff were insinuating (Aus NQ'd, in your FACE) Grito is not boring.
But it's also not that engaging of a composition. My gripe with it is that it banged the hardest in studio for me, and studio cuts just... don't matter to me? At last not post-show. I get all of my listens from Youtube, not Spotify. In the studio version, "Grito" goes from zero to hero IMMEDIATELY at the first chorus, and doesn't back down. It goes quite hard. Live, the transition is more gradual and subdued, which pulls me into the immersion at a later point. Almost too late? "Grito" is a slow burner, and I'm not a patient man. You need to make me care about you immediately, not until you're halfway through the song.
It makes sense that Iolanda was sort of the Alika of the year resultswise (getting a good amount of jury votes into a negative televote) but she had the opposite problem for me. Alika came across like she was aimlessly screaming at a mic without any sophistication. Iolanda came across as frosty introvert who deliberately held back on purpose to sound frail before the big note. BELT WOMAN, YOUR SONG DEMANDS IT.
Eventually, she did. And it was pretty good.
That was a really good climax. Grito succeeds where Ramonda and Before the Party's Over (and in a sense Veronika which I'll address in a few days) struggled with or even outright failed to do.
So going into the contest from FdC, I always expected Portugal to be a qualifier (why were SO many people sleeping on it? I know a lot of eurofans are dumb (sadly, not of the mute variety), but also hard of hearing?) but I was hoping for Iolanda to inject more life into her song. This was why I had difficulty getting into her at FdC.
and she... sorta did?
Like, if I'm honest, the performance wasn't enough to fully win me over. It went from a 7 to a 7.5, it's not the LEAP forward I had hoped.
However, Portugal managed to elevate the act from its FdC counterpart, and respected the song's strengths. Befitting the lyrics, Iolanda ~transformed into a better verison of herself~, serving personality.
The staging in Sweden was also better - the use of the cubes to create a confined space for an intimate performance, the interactive choreography and the camerawork that framed it beautifully were great. In FdC, it felt like Iolanda had too many ideas for her staging, and they were poorly implemented. In Sweden, it clicked together smoothly. Her styling was great (die Joel!). She got the message across, while staying classy and sophisticated, which I suppose is Portugal's entire spiel at Eurovision nowadays.
In terms of my personal preferences though, it doesn't set my soul on fire, or makes me raise roofs tonight. Iolanda was good across the board, so she makes perfect sense as a high jury carry, but at the same time she also makes perfect sense as a televote bottomfeeder. It cuts both ways - "Grito" is good on all accounts, and outstanding at none, nor particularly is it particularly high on Fun Factor. It's too polished and competent for that. Like, "Grito" is not Eurovision. it is a well-executed live of a well-written song that found it's way there by winning the NF. It's highbrow. And I can appreciate that, but ultimately, others this year have delivered entires that were more to in line with the vibes I like to receive from my Eurovision entries.
AND NOW WE'RE MOVING UP A TIER. Here are whoever's left:
Which one is #YOUR favourite?

(I'm finally done with this image after a month...god bless my patience...)
Words cannot really describe what I feel for this band. Nor can a drawing express those feelings. Everything I might going to say sound super cheesy but if their music and all the interviews thought me one thing, than it is that it's okay to be myself. I mean…they do it too, right…and sometimes we are cheesy. Sometimes we are touched by media and sometimes we might not find the right words. I want to try it anyway.
Let me start with a quote from Adventure Time actually, because this quote pretty much describes my love for music in General. "Music is powerful, man. It speaks to a primal pit in our brains. It makes anyone go up and get their knees going" When I first listened to Blur consciously , something truely magically happened. I saw Damon, as he slowly sink into their music, paired with Grahams ability to paint with sound. Alex who infused his Groovy cool bass sounds into the song and Dave who brings in memoriable rhythms. All of this rounded up makes Blur of who they were and who they currently are. Their timeless. It's inspirational…it's just purely Magic.
It's that exact feeling that I tried to translate into my illustraton. The whole drawing process made me a little emotional too. I never felt this way for an illustration really but I went through all sorts of emotions…Maybe that's what I get from their music. I was a bit conflicted. Because while listening to their music, I was able to feel their love to one another and it felt like something…intimate. Something I maybe shouldn't put in an image. Or should I? Am I capable to translate that love without projecting mine onto them? It is a quite vulnerable process after all. In the end however, I decided to just go for it. My pen will lead the way. If I learned one thing from Graham's interviews it's "If you're scared, do it scared!" (especially since I'm a fellow person who deals with a lot of anxiety) and if there is something I learned from listening to countless of Damons Interviews it's "Follow your heart. Be vulnerable. It's fine. Use this emotion and begin to dream. Your heart will know what is right!" And as cheesy as my love for Blur is (no pun intended), I always think back of how they talk about their musical heroes too. Recently I was listening to an Interview between Elton John and Damon and how he wrote that song about Elton John when he was younger. Or Graham how he described sitting in the room, learning all those Songs he is into (and both of them got a fantastic taste in music. I currently gonna do a deepdive into both of their influences , to get a better understanding of them as musicians…while having no musical knowledge myself lmao)
And so I decided "If they gush about their favorite musicians, I can do it too. Maybe not in a musical way (because I would suck at it) but in my artsy kind of way. In my own way. It might be embarassing for me and I'm quite shy about my feelings, but that's what art is sometimes."
It was also by far one of the longest things I worked on. I really kneed a month into this image and tried to capture every essence to the best of my ability. I think the most difficult part was to styilize the guys in a way that it still has this typical "Nabs" touch to it, but that it still look like them. …Okay, enough talking from my side, I hope you enjoy the image lol!

Sorry for the whining lately, I'm gonna talk about other unrelated things for a while to get out of the dead end that I seem to have drilled myself into.
Here's an absurdly ridiculous story from my past.
I've brought up here before that one of my best friends dated an absolute asshole for around 6 months.
The first time we talked was over text. My bestie mentioned that I majored in European Studies in college, so he kept making his girlfriend ask me questions, as he was a "fellow European history enjoyer". My field was more about modern politics in the EU and France, but fine, I was familiar with a basic level of historical background for context, so ask away. My bestie eventually got tired of constantly passing messages back and forth so she gave him my number for direct contact.
You know the kind of guys who would ask a woman to name 3 Joy Division songs after seeing her in an Unknown Pleasures T-shirt? Talking to asshole felt exactly like that, it was more a test. He would constantly cut me off and "correct my mistakes", when in fact I just didn't get to finish my sentence. He would also "educate" me on varies topics: military history of different empires, descriptions of ethnic groups that are all based on stereotypes, or Francisco Franco using his favorite club Real Madrid to oppress the people of Catalonia. (Yes, I've read Fear and Loathing in La Liga by Sid Lowe. This is a simplified myth, the real history is much more nuanced.)
Once, he asked me for French music recommendations. He was probably expecting accordions and Edith Piaf, but I just sent him some songs I was listening to at the time, you know, some rap, some electro-pop, some Stromae. (I might've done that intentionally because asshole refused to refer to anyone non-white as European.) One of them is J'aimerai by Johan Papaconstantino:
youtube
He told me he couldn't tell I would be interested in Algerian pop, so I said, "oh, it's actually Greek."
Oops. I shouldn't have brought up Greece. That man was obsessed with Greece, as you can imagine. He once asked me for my opinion on the North Macedonia name dispute just to write a 1000+ word essay about his love and admiration for his personal hero, Alexander the Great, and how the "Slavs misappropriate the name of Macedonia, they should come up with their own, of Slavic origin."
But it was too late, the conversation went like this:
Him: Wow, I never expected you to like Algerian pop.
Me: Oh, it's actually Greek.
Him: No, it's not.
Me: Uh... he's singing in French and Greek? I actually do listen to some Arabic pop if you're interested, I quite like this Lebanese band called Soap Kills.
Him: It's clearly Turkish. It's not real Greek music, it's the music the Turks forced upon the Greeks during years of subjugation! (Insert 3 hour rant about Greeks living under the Ottoman Empire.)
Me: Um... so you're familiar with Turkish music?
Him: Of course! I know the Turkish March.
The
Turkish
March
Me: You know Mozart is Austrian right?
Him: Well, it's Turkish style
This Turkish style?
Eeeh🤷🏻What do I know? I'm just a dumb woman.
Maybe he should educate me on this classical Turkish music extraordinaire:

My SAGAU Playlist (Imposter AU) - PART ONE
When I read stories, I usually think of corresponding songs that could fit with the story.
When I had fallen into the world of SAGAU recently, songs that fit the concept of the Imposter and Villain AU suddenly appeared in my mind.
Here are some of them:
Even though the actual meaning of the song is disturbing, Mind Brand (MARETU), especially the first chorus, perfectly echoes the real Creator's emotions as they remembered how Teyvat's citizens harshly treated them when they were branded as the "Imposter", and was killed by the Archons' hands. Now they are out for revenge, damning them to the Abyss. This is the first chorus from JubyPhonic's English version:
Though I shouldn’t care, I couldn’t wait to finally see them all in hell... (Ill drag them as we crawl) Ah, doing it right, feeling that high, taking what’s mine And I feel just fine! You took it all away so now this hero cries in pain! Holding you tight, fighting all night, telling me why But I can’t rewrite, The memories I made of you and me, won’t go away! WELCOME TO THE MIND F**K!
The famous Bad Apple (Alstroemeria Records), especially the extended version, also fits the category. The parts of the song, especially the English version, actually tell the deep thoughts of the Creator from the day they were hunted to the day they took revenge.
The extended version of the song perfectly portrays the SAGAU Villain AU, especially with these lines:
This time you're not hurting me! This time I will take a stand! All the hatred in my eyes building up an evil plan... Standing lonely in the night, with the darkness by my side Looking deep inside myself, and revealing only fright!
This part of the song Hayloft 2 (Mother Mother) activated the animation meme love in me, and had the urge to make a SAGAU version of this:
An eye for an eye, a leg for a leg A shot in the heart doesn't make it unbreak She really didn't wanna make it messy She really, really didn't, but the girl gone cray!
According to the lead vocalist, Enemy (Imagine Dragons) is "about reconciling internal conflict in a world where sometimes it feels impossible to trust even yourself." In a nutshell, this song is a battle cry of one voice against the world. Seems familiar, you say?
Well, in SAGAU Imposter AU, it's impossible to trust anyone, even themselves... when the fake Creator looks and sounds like them. They can't trust anybody in this AU when the people the Creator had trusted could backstab and execute them if they lower their guard down.
Tell you you're the greatest But once you turn, they hate us... Oh, the misery, Everybody wants to be my enemy! Spare the sympathy, Everybody wants to be my enemy-y-y-y-y! (Look out for yourself!) My enemy-y-y-y-y (Look, look, look, look)! (Look out for yourself!) But I'm ready...
Have you seen the MV of Dernière Danse (Indila)? It's a French song with its title meaning "last dance", but according to some, it was a song about pain. In the song, Indila tells the story of a young foreigner who fights racism every day and about the pain she may feel. In the MV, the protagonist (Indila) looks like a desperate girl who was walking around the metro after being kicked out and shunned by everyone, and there looks like an apocalypse coming in Paris. She realized in the middle of the song that she was the cause of it and sacrificed herself to stop it. In this way, she rebels against the whole world and shows her strength.
I like to listen to this song when SAGAU fics now narrate on the events of the real Creator going to be executed by the Archons while the people start cheering for the death of the 'imposter' (who was the real Creator). Especially at this part of the song where there was a chorus of voices singing along with the main singer:
In this sweet pain, Of which I have paid all the offenses Listen how big my heart is I am a child of the world... I move the sky, day, night I dance with the wind, the rain... A little love, a bit of honey And I dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, dance!

headcanons - katsuki bakugo
in which we dive into the world of headcanons for katsuki bakugo
warnings: a few swear words
❬ 🖉 ❭ ━━ GENERAL
»❁» cat person
»❁» knows some sign language because his quirk could potentially give him tinnitus and hearing loss
»❁» religiously listens to corpse husband
»❁» Scotty Doesn't Know, Never Satisfied, Rät, Verbatim, and Cigarette Ahegao, are his top five songs on spotify
»❁» he doesn't actually smell like caramel/burnt sugar, just his hands, but he uses a citrus-y soap stuff
»❁» uses two different 3-in-1 body washes (6-in-2 lol) for speed and cleanliness, because why waste time in the shower if you could be training?
»❁» goldfish is the superior snack food, but never regular goldfish, because regular is for extras
»❁» favorite movie is the lion king, but for some reason he gets the strongest urge to pee or get a snack when mufasa's death scene comes on, weird right?
»❁» he styles hair really well, one of the girls could have a bad hair day and he casually walks over and fixes it
»❁» he has gifted kid syndrome, excelled as a child and when he got older and leveled out with his peers achieving anything other than excellency was intolerable by him
»❁» you know those tiny sneezes that are barely audible but so cute you could die? katsuki and only katsuki
»❁» horny pretty much 24/7
»❁» dislikes big gatherings
❬ 🖉 ❭ ━━ BEST FRIENDS
»❁» you guys met at a cat cafe you frequented a lot in shizuoka (the closest real city by musutafa). you bumped into him and he spilled his coffee on his white shirt. he was pissed so you apologized profusely and bought him a new drink. after that encounter you ran into each other several times at several different places and eventually became friends because you two had similar tastes
»❁» mitsuki loves you because you're not as loud and angry as katsuki is, mitsuki hopes your more calm and laid back nature will rub off on katsuki. (she also prefers you over the bakusquad because they're loud, 9/10 times she'll agree to you coming over)
»❁» when he invites you over to do homework together or just goof off mitsuki always asks if you want to stay for dinner
»❁» when you stay for dinner you always offer to help with the dishes (because brownie points)
»❁» his friends love you and adopted you into the bakusquad
»❁» mina thought you were dating
»❁» when he says "go fuck yourself" he really means "yea we're best friends but i'm not gonna tell you that"
»❁» you made him a photo album for his birthday (4/20 pog) and he ALMOST cried but he didn't, he only sweated through his eyeballs ;)
❬ 🖉 ❭ ━━ DATING
»❁» you confessed to him. your parents were out of town so he invited you over because he didn't want you to be alone. you agreed and you guys had hung out at his house. movie night, dinner, and snacks, the usual. with a rush of adrenaline you turned to him and asked him. your gaze met his and he gave you a simple nod, unable to speak due to the goldfish in his mouth
»❁» your first kiss was surprising. during hero training you got cornered in a tight hallway, noses centimeters from touching. you smirked, cupping his face in your hand and planting a soft kiss on his lips. you skipped away while he stood back startled. he chased you down after class for revenge
»❁» the entire foundation of your relationship is trust, to him a relationship can't work without it
»❁» he liked to grab your waist and kiss your forehead (or cheek depending on your height)
»❁» he secretly wants to be babied but don't tell anyone
»❁» whoever wakes up first gets dibs on good morning messages, but katsuki always sends the good night message because he sleeps early
»❁» you like to cook together, but he is very over protective and watches you very closely (he worries about you and doesn't want you getting burnt or accidentally cutting yourself)
»❁» you spend a lot of time together, mostly cuddling and staring off into space
»❁» he has two favorite ways to cuddle, you wrapped up in his arms while he peppers your face with kisses and whispers sweet nothings to you or laying on the couch together, you playing with his hair and his head on your chest so he can listen to your heartbeat
»❁» you said i love you first his response was "dammit bastard, i was gonna say it first"
»❁» dislikes traditional dates, prefers to sit at home (mostly because he wants to be babied and also because he doesn't want anyone looking at you)
»❁» your name in his phone is "babe" pretty simple because he believes actions > words
»❁» his name in your phone is "katsu mcsplody" because why not?
