put your clothes back on i’m gonna explain my skin-crawlingly sentimental theories about how “if i fall” lays the groundwork for a megatron redemption via a truce to fight the quintessons at the end of the potential tf1 trilogy, with regards to the song clearly being from optimus’s and megatron’s alternating povs as they address each other, as well as the “i hope you’re right there to catch me/if i fall” sung by both vocals to indicate both orion’s literal fall at the end of the film and megatron’s symbolic fall from the light, and also these lines
