listen. I know my family is bad at communication and acknowledgement of receipt of Thing but when the one thing that consistently happens semi-annually is that I get fussed at for not confirming I received something, it irks me a smidge.

Like if I'm expected to always confirm "Hey I got your [communication/gift]" then why aren't they doing it back? Especially considering the communication in this instance has really actually very important information they will want to know if they want to stay in contact with me.

Even if I'd just gotten a "K" in response, like. at least it would have let me know they got the damn thing. I sent this email TWO WEEKS AGO and only one person responded - and it was practically immediate too. Like... i know folks are busy, i know shit's going on. I get it. But it would help me feel so much less like I'm suddenly a pariah in the family out of nowhere if like one of the people I'd sent this to had just responded in some way shape or form.

I'd have answered a phone call - i wouldn't have liked it, but i'd have done it. A letter in the mail to my current address even. a message in a bottle probably wouldn't get to me because i'm pretty far from the beaches of the great lakes, and also they're even farther, but like. something right?

my sister at least confirmed she got it and just forgot to respond. i imagine that's what happened with everyone else because we have the same mental illnesses and look. i do it too. but also? also?? i was hounded to respond quickly to things, i was told off every time i wasn't responding within a half hour of any communication. I was asked instantly the next time they saw me if I'd gotten it, even if i hadn't had a chance to see the thing yet.

So forgive me, family, if I'm a little peeved off that all y'all are allowed to "forget to respond" for two whole fucking weeks and then a few extra days (because it's been 2 weeks, 3 days exactly) when i can't let something sit in the mailbox for 2 days because i couldn't get to my mailbox easily while living on my own without getting a phone call or text or email that there should be something waiting in there for me.

It didn't take you more than a few minutes to finally fall asleep. Your heavy eyes closing almost the second your head hit the unbelievably soft pillow and your fingers snapped off the lamp beside the bed that was snapped like a bunny. Your arms curling around it as you cuddled into your new bed, or at least your new bed for a few days.

You knew you couldn't stay with Harry. Sure, the guy had always been there for you, and yeah, you two were still close after all this time. But he had his own life and you had yours.

Yours was currently in shambles and needed to be fixed asap but that was going to have to wait until morning. Right now, your body and your baby needed you to sleep.

"Good morning my wonderful, beautiful, amazing friend!"

The voice behind you made you groan, your face buried deep into the pillow, silently begging for just five more minutes of sleep even though you had slept at least 16 hours. You still wanted five more minutes of being able to ignore the shit show that was now your life.

"Oh no! You don't get to send me a picture of a pregnancy test then have my brother call me in the middle of the night to tell me you were at his and not wake up!" She said as she ripped the blanket off you. Your eyes glaring into hers about to tell her off when that lurching feeling in your stomach made your skin grow cold.

You rushed out of bed, darting to the bathroom that was connected to your guest room.

You were on the floor with your head in the toilet bowl throwing up stomach bile like the time Gem, Abs, and you went to Vegas for your 21st birthday.

"Holy fuck, you are pregnant!" She cheered from behind you, your middle finger instantly up in the air as your head hung in the very clean and shiny toilet bowl.

Whoever cleaned Harry's house deserved a raise.

"Oh my gosh, this is so exciting! Think of all the cute clothes we get to buy!" You hear the excitement in her voice, her feet prancing across the tile floor almost like she was dancing when the doorbell rang.

"Oh! That's Abs!" She cheered, a little yay following it as she darted out the room.

"Why are you guys here?" You mumbled into the toilet bowl your words seemed to echo around you.

"Y'alright?" Harry asked from the doorway to the bathroom which had somehow turned into a morning gathering spot.

"Peachy." You said with your head still in the toilet, your stomach swirling with nausea still.

"Got yeh some water." He said as he walked up behind you, a glass of water in hand as he leaned down to your level.

"Thanks, Haz." You took the glass sipping on the water as you flushed the toilet.

Your head felt light and airy as you moved back to rest your back against the bathroom vanity. Continuing to sip on the glass of water as you waited to see if you needed to throw up again or not.

"Gonna ever stop callin me that?" He asked with a smile. Your own forming across your lips as you stared up at him. Those grey sweatpants hanging low on his hips as he leaned against the door frame.

"Nope. Always be my little Hazza." You said as he shook his head at you. His hair shaking back and forth as he let out a breath that you swore was almost a laugh.

He'd always be your best friend's little brother and your life long confidant. No matter how famous he got or how old you turned.

"Why are they here?" You asked, your head resting against the wooden surface of the vanity.

"Y'know how Gemma is and Abby's just as bad." A small sad smile on the corner of his lips, those green eyes gleaming with pitty for you.

"I know." You sighed as you chewed on the inside of your cheek.

Your problems had suddenly become everyone's problems and you knew they did it because they cared about you but you couldn't help that tug of guilt for dragging everyone into your mess.

"Y'not alone in this." He said once he noticed the sorrow written in bold letter across your face.

"Thanks, H." You smiled softly at him, nodding your head. Both of you not know what else to say in this moment.

"Okay, okay, get out." Gemma said as she pushed Harry out of the bathroom doorway, Abby trailing closely behind her.

"'S my house and she's my friend too." He grumbled as he backed away from his older sister that was now glaring at him.

"Yeah, well, she's my best friend." Her finger poking his chest as he rolled his eyes at her.

You smiled softly to yourself, lips rolling into your mouth to suppress your giggle. Some things never changed.

"Jesus, I'm going to call Anne if you two start fighting over her again." Abby said as she walked through the two of them and made her way to you.

"Hey babes, you alright?" She asked as she sat down, your head instantly going to lay on her shoulder.

"Mhm." You hummed but it was pointless the tears were already flowing from your eyes again, soaking your cheeks, falling onto the PJs Harry had given you.

"Oh God, Y/N, don't cry." Gemma said as she shot Harry the 'get out of here glance' he knew so well from his childhood.

"What am I going to do?" You cried, holding Gemma's hand when she sat down beside you. Her head laying on your shoulder as yours stayed firmly on Abby's.

"We'll figure it out, yeah?" She cooed, her soft fingers rubbing against the back of your hand.

"Yeah, you know it's us, the fantastic three, we'll figure anything out. Even this." Abby said as her hand ran overtop of your hair.

"You guys, he… he-" You choked out but you couldn't even finish the sentence. Your eyes closed tight as the stream of tears flowed harder.

"It's okay, Harry told us. You don't have to say it." Gemma said as she leaned up from you, her hands wiping away your tears.

"How could he want me to do that?" You asked, honestly you needed answers.

How could he want you to get an abortion? How could he want you to go through that when you never once mentioned not wanting a family.

Sure, you might have also never mentioned wanting one but you always thought you'd have one at some point in your life.

"You're very pro-choice, maybe he just assumed that meant you didn't want kids?" Abby pondered from beside you. Your lips pursing as you thought about it, maybe that was it.

"He's a fucking tosser if he thought that."

"Yeah, I mean, I'm pro-women having a right over their own bodies, whatever they choose, you know?" You explained.

You were very much pro-choice. You even marched with the movement and spoken out about it many times when asked but that didn't mean that's what you wanted. You wanted a kid but others might not and in the end that was their choice to make.

"I know babes, think he's just a bit stupid."

"He's a fucking moron."

You laughed nodding your agreement. He obviously wasn't the smartest guy on the planet if he gave you an ultimatum and then was shocked at your choice.

"We can raise this baby ourselves." Gemma piped up from beside you, long after the conversation died down.

"You guys got jobs in the states." You said as your heart sank, eyes brimming with tears as the realization started to set in how alone in this world you really were.

You were really going to be in this all alone. Your dad passed away years ago, shortly after your 19th birthday, and your mother was sick. You were an only child. No brothers or sisters to rely on. No aunts or uncles. Your grandparents passed long before you were born.

It was just you and the people who had been your friends from the neighborhood you all had left years ago. If you didn't have them you wouldn't have anyone.

Not even Jesse anymore.

"We'll move back."

"Yeah!"

"Abs, you're getting married next year and Gem your magazine editor just promoted you. You guys can't come back to England." You argued with both of them. You would have loved for them to move back but it wasn't in the cards. They both had a life of their own and now you had a world of responsibility about to be dropped on your lap.

"But, you need us." Abby said from beside you. You didn't have to look over at her to know she had started crying herself. She was definitely the emotional friend out of the three of you.

"Gotta grow up eventually. We're not 7 anymore." You said with a sigh, trying your best to wipe away all the tears.

"Miss the times when our biggest problem in life was who liked Nick Carter more." Gemma said with a smile as you nodded your agreement. A goofy laugh coming from Abby as she rested back against the vanity.

Oki. Before we begin I must say... I put this off as long as possible. For those of you who have followed me for a while, you know that hobi is THE HARDEST to connect with and tbh this was no different. I'll probably revisit this reading again at a different time (you'll see why)

So. To start things off... Hope has some.. strange(?) energy. His energy was really vague and weak. - komaeda likes gardening. he likes pretty things, and flowers are quite pretty. i think this is something that could have started when he was younger-- maybe as a way to connect with his parents?-- and it eventually died away due to despair era and hope’s peak academy taking a lot of his time as well as making his luck a more... Quantifiable Thing. but post-canon, someone needs to take up gardening, and i think it could be healing to care for something? people may not understand things, but flowers aren’t exactly going to wilt while you spend accidental hours trying to process and work through things verbally. so yeah komaeda plants good.

- komaeda likes small amounts of makeup. looking at this from more of an AU perspective, since i am not sure how applicable this could be within canon universe. i can see him with more elaborate makeup to be fair, but also this. i’ve definitely talked about this with some anons in the past, so special shout out to them and the users who also gave me their Komaeda Makeup takes.

- his parents died on his birthday. my headcanons for komaeda’s parents tend to flicker, but what i’m mainly looking at is that he wasn’t particularly close to them? they didn’t exactly ignore him, but they didn’t really. care about him. i, over time, sort of developed the headcanon via rp that the first real birthday celebration he had was a vacation planned when he was a kid. he was very excited! it did not end well for him.

- he was not initially the only survivor. okay. this is REALLY headcanon-y, so please stick with me. i kind of fuck with the idea that one other person-- i usually go with a middle-aged man not from japan-- somehow survived the plane crash, but ended up dying pretty fucking badly shortly after. more just for the tragedy of that, i guess, but i also think it could like. just be an interesting thing? like “oh maybe my luck isn’t like that,” only to make it uh. - he likes astronomy. he has a lot of cool facts about the stars and shit and could go on for hours about them. he knows a LOT about the constellations, and he thinks a lot about what life would be like on other planets, some kind of escapism. also, not to dip into kamukoma land, but i think that kamukura and him would have talked about stars a lot. hinata has this information post game. he still listens to komaeda talk about it.

- he isn’t dumb. i sat here for way too long trying to think of how to summarize this and by god i fucking failed. is this even a headcanon? i think hinata, like, has a bunch of very basic shit that he Forgets A Lot, like octagons, but he’s actually really good at deductive reasoning and survival skills. 

- his relationship with izuru / the talents fluctuates. no idea how to summarize this either. i think it goes from “use them all and burn myself out so that everyone is safe” to “now i am not going to use them” to “okay maybe i can compromise here”. with izuru himself, he sort of has a lot of rage towards himself that he puts on the other. he doesn’t like the idea of sharing a headspace with someone on the get-go. but he gets there eventually.

- he does not like the future foundation. i mean no shit but also like. i think he would work for them? maybe? but he cares more about jabberwock than the rest of the world, in a sense. he has altruism, and he doesn’t like, fucking hate the rest of the world. he’s out of touch with it, though, and looks at working on shit more as necessity (or atonement) than, like. yay let’s do this shit!

But they heightened the stupid COVID protocols yet again and we have to stay at home, so there’s that.

Do you have a little sister? What’s her name?  Yeah but she’s turning 21 this year, so little wouldn’t be accurate anymore. We call her Nina at home but everyone else calls her by her full first name, Janina.

Angela saved the day when she planned out an impromptu dinner + arcade date for me, and that was the only good part of the day, really. I’d rather forget the rest of it.

They essentially reminded and affirmed me that I’m stronger than I think I am, and that I’ve been through a lot and have grown a lot, and that that growth is seen by people around me.

Have you ever moved to another state or country? If so, how did it feel to be new?  Just to different cities, but considering how tiny my country is, the move is quite insignificant lol.

IDEALLY, we’d probably pick up a photocard or two if the ones we want aren’t sold out yet (lol a rarity), then we’d have some nachos and stuff right after and just talk about all things Bangtan lol with Hans cracking us up the whole time since he is just naturally hilarious.

Would it have REALLY made any difference?  A part of me wishes my final face-to-face conversation with Gabie had been a more solid closure, just so we could finally put a hard stop to that chapter. But at that time I thought we would continue talking, so there had still been some stuff lingering in the air when we called it a day and parted ways. So in a sense we never really got closure when I finally cut ties, which the ESTJ in me remains to be nagged by, but I try not to be bothered by it anymore considering how much better I am doing right now. We didn’t know the future at the time, so it’s okay the way things turned out, ultimately.

-ok remember that time i said she has daddy issues? part 1 of that story is that her father left her and her mother when she was a baby, so that’s a super fun start to life! she grew up in park forest, illinois just south of chicago with her mom and grandmother. she was a quiet little kid who like to draw and use play-doh and play make-believe. she never had a lot of friends and she never really minded. like i guess she did sometimes? but she was mostly content to do her own thing or hang out with like one of four friends that she had

-she grew up into the weird art kid we all were knew. maisie never really spoke unless spoken to because being assertive was the worst thing in the world. and its kind of hard to make friends when you don't start conversations with people. but she had books! books were her friends! (and also a few friends, but books are more fun). but yeah that’s kind of the gist of young maisie, painfully shy and obsessed with art and reading/writing. also a nervous wreck but painting and writing helped with that.

-anyway if we’re just doing the dirty deets, then really the next thing you need to know is daddy issues part two: he’s dead! he died when she was sixteen, he didn’t tell her mom he was dying even though he knew he was and then he just fucking died and maisie was like ...i never met my dead dad what the FUCK (except she whispered it because my girl swears like a sailor but only under her breath). and her fun little ball of anxiety turned into a fun ball of anxiety and depression and she started being a little bit of a dick to her family, but only because she was sad and confused and feeling things she didn’t understand (like anger)

-and this was right around the time she was like... i guess i don’t matter? and i just want people to love me? literally anyone will do! and that is my simple way of saying sis does not care like 99% of the time if people treat her right, she does not think highly enough of herself to have any sort of standards

-and then, as she was retreating deeper into her little shell and screaming “what the fuck am i supposed to do now, universe?” her fuckin mom died. like just over a year later. she was a senior in high school. and now one of the two people she was closest two in the world was dead and she was an orphan so thats shitty. and then maisie said “you know what universe, you can go FUCK yourself” and that time she actually yelled the fuck part because life doesn’t matter, clearly. (also, technically she was an orphan but she does have her grandmother, an actual saint. we love you kuia!)

-aaand this is when her anger issues started! which makes sense, she had reason to be mad. but not necessarily at the things she ended up being mad at. which was usually other people. (who kind of deserved it? usually? just not to the degree of mad she gets) like in her defense, she usually gets mad at people when they repeat the same shitty behavior, act like a dick to her or someone she cares about, or acts like a dick to anyone really, or when they say or do something really fucked. but that’s not always the case. sometimes they accidentally cut ahead of her in line at bean me up (what? she was under caffeinated) or they took the last beer at a party (she was thirsty??) (she doesn’t only get mad at people for beverage-related things, those are just the examples that came to mind). anyway. she goes from 0 to 100 real quick, and let me please remind you that this girl does not speak unless spoken to and hates assertiveness so people around her are like???? who the fuck is this bitch??  and let’s just say the people she went to high school with don’t love her. she’s still like that at covington but she can control it more, and she actually talks to people sometimes, so it’s not quite as jarring

-ok i’m getting super tired so the rest is rapid fire: ya girl is a visual arts major, creative writing minor in her 3rd year. if you want to find her, she’ll be in the library. she actually parties a fair amount now, because substances help numb the pain and make it easier to talk to people. (healthy behavior! yay). to the few people who actually know her, she is extremely sweet and loyal. she’s pretty much always listening to music. she’s left handed and the side of her hand is pretty much always covered in ink. her favorite color is purple. she’s bisexual as fuck. there is paint on all of her clothes. she smells like an art supply store, which is often not a good thing. It's funny how the music I listen to evolved.

When I was about 10 years old, I got my first mp3-player. It was quite old and often broken. The music that I could listen to, sounded bad because of rustlea and it got cut off often. I didn't care though, I was happy that my dad gave it to me (even though my mum was against it, but that's another story). I listened a lot with it. Mostly songs of a Flemish music program for kids. So only national music then.

A little time after that my parents found out that my mp3-player was of really bad quality, but I didn't want them to buy a phone, because I was happy, idk I was a strange kid. I was happy that I had some rusty music and I didn't need more I guess. It was around that time that I saw "The Lazy Song" from Bruno Mars on TV and I asked my dad to add the song on my player. He added the whole album and for a few months I only listened to that. It was one of my first encounters of the English language. Yay.

On my twelfth birthday, at the end of 6th grade, I got my first phone. It was a very cool one, 'cause it had a touchscreen and a yellow case. I always loved yellow. Still my favourite colour and yes I am a proud hufflepuff. Deal with that. Anyways, this phone gave me a new possibility, bacause now, I was able to search and download my own music. So I discovered some more music. Mainstreet (a Dutch band), MBAND (a Russian band), some single songs and music from movies and musicals. I really began listening to international music, and as I said before, it helped me evolve my english. That, and also Harry Potter (the first movies me and my sister watched with english audio and Dutch subtitles. Now we watch every series and movie with english subs and english audio. Yay).

Around 9th grade my phone broke. The buttons for sounds and the on/off button didn't work anymore. Well I got another one. With almost unlimited music download possibility. New music wave. Serguei Lazarev, Alexander Rybak, Kpop (yeah your heard that right my dear emo friends, and i can still read the Korean alphabet).

Actually Kpop gave me some good things. So I'm happy that I went through that phase. It was the final thing to make me a non-rascism person (i am ashamed of the fact that i was, indeed, rascist. I'm not anymore though. Thank God for that). Also, I got my taste of fashion there.

Then. The emo begins. It actually doesn't begin good. It has a story too. There was this girl, a friend of mine. Let's call her A. Well she had her own problems, not gonna get into that. She listened a lot to punk/hard-rock kinda things, didn't know back then. I always judged her for that (fuck past-self me). That's not important. She had a friend (let's call him S). She was in love with him, he wasn't with her. He was also a friend of my sister's. He was a huge fan of Twenty One Pilots. Anyways, this friend S told my sister about A's problems, and my sister told me. So I knew A's problems and I knew that S told my sister, even though he was supposed to keep it secret. I did the stupidest thing by telling a good friend of mine (let's call her E) about it. I asked E not to tell A, because it would only make things worse. She told A. Still mad at her for that. Everyone found out, it was a huge mess, I hurt myself, started crying and hating myself (hasn't stopped), etc. I knew I needed help. And then I remembered about that guy S, who was a fan of tøp. I started listening to it. I fucking loved it. With whole my heart. The whole summer of '18 was a tøp-summer. It was also with the start of Trench. I was really happy. I still am. I wonder what I would be if I hadn't decided to listen to them. Fucked up probably. I still am, but I try to become better. Anyways. I went to their concert in March too. Magical night. Tøp teached me to think about what you feel.

Through Twenty One Pilots memes and all I heard a lot about the other bands of the emo quartet. A lot of a certain "Gerard Way" too. Also "Frank Iero". Well I posted a post on my tøp blog (if anyone's interested it's @trenchil ). I got to know this perfect girl @fangirling-account . She told me everything about mcr. Everything. (And I can't thank you enough for it, dear) I love mcr. I love them so much, but I guess you know that, based on my little blog here. Mcr teached me to accept myself and not trying to be someone I'm not.

I plan on getting into other bands too. Green Day, p!atd, fob, ya know.

Also, when I get into something, I mean getting slurped up in the tornado of songs, inside jokes, memes and feelings. The whole damn package. Sometimes it hurts, but I love doing it. It's called obsessing and I love it.

The thing I enjoy about music nowadays too, i the fandom. You get to share your experience with the world, there are other people who get you, there are people you can have a discussion with. People who have the same interests of hands (looking at you @areebbbb).

Anyways music kinda saved me.
