Can we PLEASE talk about how Crowley KNOWS heaven's plans during the confession scene?? Whatever. I'm gonna talk about it you dont have to listen.

🛑 SPOILERS 🛑

I'm convinced Crowley is Lucifer so much of my interpretation is based on that sub theory which I'm not going to go in depth on here because its a whole post on its own (and I'm already getting bored writing this one lol). I'm also not convinced that Metatron is really going to let Aziraphale run heaven. I think he's going to lock Az up (either as prisoner or as commander-in- chief) (but probably a prisoner) to keep the Our Side™️ team up from interfering. I’m focusing on the subtext in the confession scene conversation and implications for season 3.

Crowley knows the plans for Apocalypse 2. Which means he knows how it STARTS.

We viewers only see the last bit (the amens) but its implied that Crowley sees much more while we're viewing Aziraphale in the cutaway. The line "Tell me you said no." is repeated twice and increasingly desperate. Yes, he wants Aziraphale to stay with him, but more importantly, I think Aziraphale returning to heaven is the first step to start the End again. This is supported by Crowley saying "You can't leave this bookshop." Because if Az DOES leave the bookshop (and goes to Heaven) then the End is started.

Also why he confesses - "I didn't get a chance to say what I was going to say, I think I better say it now." Why now? Because he won't get a chance to later, because they'll be on opposite sides. Likely fighting each other. (Assuming Metatron is being truthful) (which... eh).

It explains Crowley's agitation while Aziraphale is with Metatron. He already knows what Metatron is doing (tempting Az). Earlier in episode 4 or 5 (can't remember, not looking it up), Crowley is worrying about Aziraphale and says "it's always too late." This time is also too late because by the time he returns, Aziraphale is already convinced he should go to heaven/leave the bookshop.

I think the Job story is included because that's when God and Satan made a bet over the devotion of God's most faithful. A parallel to what is now happening with Aziraphale. (Don't get me started on the almond syrup implications rn omg). (Side note, most scholarship distinguishes Lucifer and Satan as two entities/concepts and knowing Gaiman keeps within the theologic cannon, I think we'll find that's true in the Good Omens universe too)(Either they're two separate entities or Satan is a mask of Crowley's)(but thats another post omg thats like the third time I've said that I need to stfu).

In the "I forgive you/Don't bother" exchange, I dont think Crowley is deflecting because he doesn't think his past is worthy of forgiveness. I think it's because he knows what will happen in the future. Namely that season 3 will show Crowley and Az on opposite sides rather than together as they have been. Aziraphale (might be) leading heaven's armies against Crowley (Lucifer). And Crowley doesnt think that is worth forgiving.

I'm especially convinced of this because of the sudden interest in the "or give me death" name that Crowley and Metatron take in the last episode(s). "Does anyone ever choose death?/How predictable" especially makes me think that Crowley is going to be the one to choose death - his own death - to save everyone else's, especially Aziraphale's (and surprising Metatron). A parallel between "The Second Coming" and the... idk first coming (? lol) since Jesus sacrificed himself and all that.

Like the ladies said, Aziraphale and Crowley don't say what's on their minds. Crowley isn't talking about them, he's talking about the plans he knows about. And he knows that he doesn't want to be opposed to Aziraphale.

The reason being though is because I don't really like sweet things, like too sweet things. So Cheesecake is the best bet, especially sopalilla cheesecake cause it's got cinnamon (I LOVE cinnanon) and it's lined with pastry. So it's not too sweet, but it's also missing is sweetness. Idk, if you haven't had it you should definitely try it. Like its pretty easy to make in my opinion, and the results are AMAZINNGG. I also like strawberry or lemon cake. I love fruity stuff ngl.

okay let me tell my advice

The numbers don't equal quality. Certain things appeal to people more, like shorter stories, straight up smut, Joel Miller gets way more than when I write Marc. I think one of my best works was my Marc X Jewish!Reader series, Seattle, but it idnt get anywhere really even at the height of moon knight popularity bc people dont read OC's esp ethnic oc's. Put your heart into it and those who enjoy it will enjoy it. I had a William Miller series that averaged like 8-20 notes per chapter but I had a handful of readers I knew adored it and thats what mattered

However, if you dont already, make sure you are reblogging stories and leaving nice words! Yes, it's hard sometimes to break it. It took a few months for me to get into the Oscar Issac writer circles, and then when I started writing Pedro it took a while too but I always reblogged and tried to communicate and I made friends. Isn't it crazy we can just.... become friends with our fav writers? Obvs Im not friends with all my favs but MOST of my favs became my friends <3

It's kinda annoying to me bc Im bad at it but aesthetics help. Title, a picture to catch eyes, summary, warnings, note. Try to make it look nice. Im really had at this LMFAOOOOOO. My lovely friends have made my best looking banners. If you have graphic design skills, use them! i wish i didn't have to but it does help catch readers when you have an interesting headers and everything looks pretty.

Few technicals. Use the readmore option. No one wants to reblog a LOOOOOONG story and clog up the feeds. Use as many correct tags as you can. Tag any triggering content. And I'm the worst at this but proof read. Im bad at proof reading, everyone who reads my work knows spelling, grammar, wrong words are a common issue I have bc Im bad at typing. When I still had word on my laptop I started typing in word and using text to speach to help me catch stuff!

Keep at it! IDK where you know my work, weather moon knight, triple frontier or tlou or whatever but all those fandoms right now are like.... a little less active. So don't be dissapointed if it takes a while. With TLOU, theres SOOOOOOO many amazing writers. With Moon Knight theres just less buzz rn. If you write for lesser known characters like Llewyn Davis or Will Miller, you probs won't reach the notes of established writers in Joel Miller. Just the reality. the point is keep going, find what you like and what gets people excited and go from there

This is the most important. Write what you want. I mean it. I love writing Will Miller because he's my special man <3 even though it's a small fanbase. My series Rooms On Fire, a lot have lost interest bc its a long series. That's okay! I love the series and it makes me happy to write it. I wrote a few Miguel O'Hara stories because, I'm being honest here, I wanted to capitalize on the hype. Guess what? They weren't good. I'm not proud of them. Since then, I write what Im inspired to.

people never follow my advice so i may as well stop giving any.

seriously i need to be paid for the amount of advice i try to give (that people dont even FOLLOW)

if it hasn't been done yet, an app made for writing that works like whatsapp would actually be good. sort of mirroring that feeling when you're roleplaying or simply delivering crazy stories to your friend. each new text is a story part. this may encourage me to write more since i'm breaking it up into less daunting, smaller texts. i'm even considering making a groupchat with just myself so i can really give it a try. the only problem is that i wouldn't be able to edit the previous texts i sent.

the day i learned about that one book that's designed to make you fall asleep- it's an entire- thick- book that is sold to make you sleep. it has a page full of words about sleep and their definitions, a page full of swirling text that makes your eyes tired- it's full of good stuff. now, some perspective comes in right here: to be honest, this is so far from what i get in mind when i think about publishing a book. but, like, it is a book. a book is not just a story, not just a study- it can be that simple, it can be about anything, i can write about anything. relevance is so wildly subjective... on that note, it is simply cruel to sit here and think to myself "i'd love to publish a book but i probably can't because it takes too much time." because that's a bit of a restrictive way of thinking, isn't it? a book can be anything, really. lighten up on that regard.

geniuses are severely outnumbered by regular people, and this keeps me up at night. if this world is being managed by anyone, i'd like the geniuses to be doing it. not the oligarchical power monopolies claiming to be something else (democracy... totally "elected" by democracy).

everything going on inside my head is true- just, at different time intervals. love life, peace all around, chaotic absurdism? yes, when i'm on That Phase of my cycle. everything is wrong, we need to burn society and rebuild it, i wanna run off into the woods? also yes, when i'm on That Other Phase of my cycle. i'm not either of these ideologies, i have both of them within me. not all answers need to be clear and easy.

i constantly get this ridiculous craving where i want to have 20 years of experience in something but i'm not even 20 yet.

every bad outcome starts with a habit, and i could be forming one of those habits at any given day. for something like excessive depression, weight or overall health issues- any day could be my day 1. looming anxiety and fear...

hey I actually wanna ask something and it's probably very weird but I'm a writer here too but I noticed the things I post lately are getting very little, almost none notes, which is really weird cuz usually something I posted got 200-300 notes but once fic I posted a week ago got 100 and one I posted yesterday didn't even get 20? I don't understand why it's happening and I'm scared if my writng got bad, and it's really demotivating :( do you know something about the Tumblr algorithm or is it me?

honestly all i can ever tell u,, as writer to writer,, if you are proud enough to put out your work then that’s it bb. your most important critic is you. constructive criticism on work personally is okay bc it def does help us grow in our craft,,, but pls don’t ever blame your writing for lack of response fjndjdnd

i hear alot ab the algorithm?? and honestly i’m not sure how it even works,, but according to the concerns from other content creators tumblr’s algorithm is just shit. plus the tags are always wonky; sometimes things show up and sometimes they dont T^T

and i feel you! idk how long you’ve been posting content, but from my experience,, i do have those posts that randomly get 1-300 in a few days, those that take much much longer, and those that stay double digits at best. it’s all okay ;w; writing it is satisfying and there’s no harm in sharing the work so instead of letting that affect me i just am thankful for the numbers that are there and continue writing.

i don’t think there’s ever a consistency w things bc then again school did start, so def there’s a dip in audience, plus the shitty tumblr tags,,,

Hello. I recently saw a post from hellmandraws with your character Grace. This isn't the first time I've seen her and I'm very interested in what she is to the Stans ?

hey anon!!! idk if its the same anon who asked about grace before, but nonetheless! time to ramble wooo!! this got rly long, so im putting it all under the cut

grace had become a very close friend to the stans. she only got transferred in their junior year, so she didn’t spend her whole time at glass shard high. junior year was when she met them, and while they only had that year to get to know each other, it was senior year when they got really close. when high school sucks, you gotta stick together

they’ve seen each other pass by in the halls, but they properly first met one night at the beach. when both parties are big mystery fans, you tend to end up exploring the same crime scenes and cryptid sightings. except you think the other party is the cryptid in question so you need to keep your distance and dont let them see you. 

the twins and grace try to trip each other up, thinking the other is the cryptid at large. grace wins this fight by setting up a trap for the cryptid to fall into, but she got the twins instead. this leads to a whole lot of confusion and bickering 

grace: YOURE the ones who have been following me this whole time??

stan: following you??? no?? you were the one following US!!

grace: IM ACTUALLY trying to capture a cryptid!! 

ford: you made a pretty flimsy trap for a cryptid i mean come on what self respecting cryptid would be attracted to a lamp tied to a half-baked attempt at a metal detector

grace: says the ones who fell into it in the first place 

ford: YEAH WELL WERE CLEARLY NOT CRYPTIDS ARE WE

grace: YET YOU STILL FELL INTO THE TRAP

the real cryptid jumps out at this point, so the trio has no choice but to work together in dealing with the creature. they start to bond once they realise what they all had in common, and here is when grace realises how much fun she was having with them. 

so she asks if they could hang out more. 

the twins, startled that someone is asking to hang out with them instead of running away or turning their back on them or teasing them or

“YES” stan replies quickly enough for the both of them, because they both do know gaining a new friend, someone who isnt fazed by ford weirdness or stans rep of being the dumb twin, is not smth to turn away from 

it takes some time for the twins to warm up to her tho,,,thinking at one point shes just going to stab them in the back. its safe to say that shes amongst one of the popular kids at school, always befriending as many people as possible (that must be exhausting to remember all those birthdays.) so why was she spending time with the pines twins?? crampelters no. 1 target? for all stan and ford knows (due to their past experience with their peers) grace could somehow betray them and throw them to the cool kids to pick em apart like vultures at dead carcasses. besides, we’ve always had each other sixer, so why should things change now?

but grace stays. she still hugs them when she sees them, still places study notes in stans locker, still helps patching up fords hands and face, still brings them diet pitt packs whenever theyre working on their boat, still visits them on weekends, still invites them to play rehearsals, parties, performances, still listens to them on good days and bad days

she still turns her head and speaks up whenever she hears someone bad mouthing the twins, because after hearing their stories of after school confrontations, ignorant teachers, salty tears, broken glasses and bones and wounds that can’t heal with bandages, the last thing grace ever wants to do is let history repeat itself. im not gonna stand by and let them do this to you. she promises never again.

but she can only do so much and thats something that frustrates her to no end

in general, she wants to be the perfect friend so when she goes too far with smth and fucks up she panics. she can get too far in her own head, so sometimes the twins need to bring her back down to earth and remind her of who she is. stan, ford and grace become each others anchor. keeping each other afloat and steady in this sea of societal expectations, self worth/identity issues and the unknown....and the occasional monster of the week
