This will be a bit surprising, but it's a Mystery Room fic! :D

Lol, I wrote this while hyperfixating. I wrote 50 pages in like... A couple months and then haven't touched it since! 😅

I only called it "Definitely Not a Mystery Room fic" bc that was one of the first fics I wrote and I was embarrassed that I was writing a fic... I thought it was super embarrassing.... Glad I got over that! :D!!!

The premise is that Lucy gets accused of murder and Alfendi has to solve the mystery! However it isn't that simple. In the fic there are 3 different crimes (not calling them murders bc technically the third one isn't) and Lucy is framed for all 3 of them. The first murder is in a locked room where the victim is found dead by a gunshot wound, and Lucy is knocked out and very injured. Hilda lets herself into the investigation and helps Alfendi out. As they are investigating and come close to finding the murderer (or at least who they think is the murderer) Lucy is found with another dead body! Then as they figure out that murder and find the real murderer, the murder tries to kill Lucy but make it look like the other way around.

It was super fun to write, but I think I focused too much on making sure things made since. Like, I literally looked up how long a stab wound would take to heal. I don't need that level of realism in my funny murder myster story! So if I do go back to it I will probably mess with the timeline a bit.

I will resist the urge to rewrite it... 50 pages is a lot.... At the very least I can change a few things I just didn't like while I was writing it. I feel like (or hope) I'm better at their characterisation now. Although Lucy still gives me some trouble some times! She's funny silly, but also very serious about her job. But also funny silly! Idk how to balance it 😅

Most of this is just about me writing it and not about the fic itself... oops... :D

I do want to go back to it eventually (and maybe share it? :Oc?) But I have to wait for my brain to hyperfixate on it again.... ':)
