pets: ohhh, cats. i love cats. had one for a while for around a good two years or so but after he injured his paw & we had 2 keep him inside for 3 weeks straight, the flightly lil bugger’s runaway. he (might’ve; still don’t know for sure whether it rly was him or not, but he apparently responded to his name from my mother’s accounts, so :shrug:) came back in the middle of the night a week or so ago now, but idtk whether he’s dead, alive, or js been taken in by some other family who thinks he’s a stray. :sigh:

Response to Honest’s post here: Doing this to spread this awareness more as I know theres a bit of a rift in the critical community - plus I really fucking go on. Im PISSED and I do apologise however it NEEDS urgent addressing. I know people will hate me for it but Im used to hate and honestly? Hating rather than helping to solve the issue only furthers my fucking point here. So yeah this is so more people are aware (no offense to any of those involved in said rift either, but this is an important message. Even if it’s your favourite, you can’t justify their shit but rally against another’s shit. Have people tell you you’re experiences arent real or invalid because, like Husk, people have - in real life - shipped you with someone you are far from comfortable with but you still treat them like a person. Because you have basic respect. And people force you to accept harassment, touching, stalking, advances for THEIR satisfaction. People use you for their fantasies. But you’re just a ‘tsundere’ for it. Or you have addiction issues but people think being with another addict will ‘save’ you because you’re apparently too incompetent to save yourself. Love isnt some magic fuckin cure so stop romanticising it as a fuckin saviour. It’s gross and fuckin creepy. okay last comment for this post. mxtx’s little authors note about everyone being straight except for hualian but you can make up headcanons as long as you dont split hualian up fjdlfakdj. i just find it silly to write a story thats so clearly for an audience that understands shipping and ships often and say not to split a specific couple up but i mean to be fair i kind of get it that sentiment as an author and not wanting people to do certain things with your work, although again i think its silly

i guess the point of this note is just to be clear that no one else is going to get together so no one argues about it and i dont actually know much about how this was published but it seems like it was serialized so i can see why that would be an issue. personally i dont really care for knowing stuff like that ahead of time but i know a lot of people do and it seems to be thing in other cnovels ive seen to know whos going to get together as far as major characters are concerned i guess thats part of the draw and i guess i kind of get it

not sure how much other romance will be in this but also i think its kind of ridiculous to be like “these are the only two gay characters” in a cast that just keeps growing but whatever shes really leaving that work up to the readers to make it happen which they’ll do anyways so whatever. also there had to be at least one of the 33 officials who fought hua cheng who thought he was hot. theres no way that didnt happen

Firstly, thank you so much for the compliments!!! I don’t know how useful exactly any advice I could give you will be, since most of it comes from drawing a lot and watching drawings even more, but in general to pick a pose usually what I do is think of the scene as if in movement? As in, what the characters are doing, and how they’d move if I were looking at them while doing it - keeping in mind the characters personalities helps me with this a lot too. 

Take for example the confessions drawings I’ve posted a couple of days ago: it’s true that there’s no words nor movement anywhere in them, but as I drew them I had a pretty clear idea of what they were saying and how the characters would react in those situations - Jirou’s shy and easily flustered, so she’s averting her eyes, unable to keep eye contact, and closing in on herself a bit, hiding her face and so on; in the concept, Kaminari was the one who confessed, so he’s holding her hand, tentative, because he’s unsure about how she’s gonna answer (it’s all stuff that didn’t actually make it in the drawing, how he reached for her hand, how he’s gonna close his other hand around her knuckles, but in my head it was a complete scene and I just picked one frame of it all to draw). The same goes for Bakugou and Kirishima - they’re rowdier, louder, more assertive and inclined to take everything as a fight, so this time around I went for a scene in which Bakugou straight out yells his feelings at Kirishima and Kirishima answers me too (again, I had the before and after in my head too, I just picked the frame that best coveyed what I was trying to do)

As I said I’m usure about how much this might help you orz it’s just my way of doing things, and it mostly comes from the fact that I was originally a writer honestly, so thinking of a whole scene makes things easier for me #rip

Well, this is just the feeling I got, but I’d say they do plenty for each other quietly and softly in canon too, don’t they? Bakugou especially, pointing out to Kirishima his strength when he can’t see it for himself and always trying to find a way to cheer him up when he’s down and giving him space when he needs it, training together, studying together, worrying over one another, Kiri making sure to always know what’s up with Bakugou and following him to help him, just generally being there for each other so that if and when they need they’ll know they’ll have someone they can lean on - their relationship is really mutually supportive, isn’t it? I cry so much they make me so happy ;^; *sob*

nathaniel/iris - still an absolutely angelic ship, adorable. healthy but not perfect, interracial, adorable, i love them, i want them to be happy

praxina/iris - forget you! is such a good fucking episode and praxina just wanted to be happy and good and iris just wanted her to have what she wanted and felt was right and iris letting praxina choose her own path was so good and pure and i love them

mephisto/auriana - i still love them and am holding out for them when mephisto comes back. idk the status of lolirock currently but if theres a season 3 i expect mephisto’s return and i expect tension!

love status:

iris/auriana - did yall see the finale? did yall see that hug? that hug was so good. auriana loves iris so much. theyre so cute and good to each other and i love them

iris/talia - i also really love how these two are dedicated to each other. it’s wholesome and good and i love them a lot

like status:

auriana/talia - i love these two a lot but sometimes it feels like they wouldnt be friends if not for the mission, so its moved from love to like. i still enjoy them plenty and appreciate fanstuff for them, i just like them better with iris lol

talia/praxina - i still enjoy the potential for this ship a lot, i liked how talia was suspicious of praxina in forget you! but then at the end she wanted praxina to stay good, and i loved her saying wow! when praxina smiled her first genuinely happy smile

talia/kyle - i didnt like them initially because i was annoyed that kyle never came back, but now that he did, i find them way better! talia acknowledged her crush as such, kyle wasnt a pushy dumbass like in his first ep, they were more like an actual shippable couple this time! im glad he came back tbh

praxina/auriana - remember when auriana was like “nooo, you look great!” and praxina blushed like a fool? yes. i love them. i love that auriana can make praxina blush like that

matt/auriana - i still really liked them even if matt has disappeared and will likely never return

don’t mind status:

nathaniel/doug - doug has become irrelevant but theyre still buddies so its fine

iris/mephisto - i still dont get why more people dont ship this. nat/iris is obviously better but meph/iris is pretty good. they have lots of really sweet moments. the “id be happy to serve you as queen of ephedia” line? forreal? good shit

carissa/mephisto - ive seen this a few times and its not bad. i prefer carissa as a lesbian but she and mephisto worked together well and i like how she beats the shit out of him

doug/praxina - i thought this was gonna be praxina’s “canon het ship” in case of redemption but then in forget you! they had an opportunity to interact that just...didnt happen! so i guess it was my misinterpretation. so i still like it but its pointless to me

carrisa/lyna - i thought these two would be more shippable but in the end i find them more annoying as a pair than cute. they dont seem to like each other much or share any interests, but are mature enough to work together for a just cause. so im good with the ship but it doesnt appeal to me

doug/auriana - i dont reeaaally have a problem with this ship its just, yknow, boring! theyre really cute bffs, i love them taking that selfie together. also doug kind of is barely in the show anymore so who cares

lev/lyna - ive only seen this once and its super boring. thats it. its just boring. whys it exist? because for some reason this fandom thinks we need more het ships

iris/lev - lev is boring and pointless, but it’s not a notp cuz i DO see the appeal. but really, iris/nat is way better and i dont think lev was a necessary character esp considering the small number of episodes he was in
