this is actually nerevar! i have a hc he's part nord, with a chimer mom and nord dad. in my fic it's established nerevar's dad went back to skyrim to settle an inheritance dispute and uh. died. and after his mom found out nerevar was already like, 10. so she just up and left him in the care of his maternal uncle.

but i was thinking what if his dad hadn't died and he was raised in skyrim? he would be in the rift, bordering on the velothi mountains, only hearing about skyrim and seeing the stray cliff racer. after his dad dies for real this time his mother takes him to resdayn/morrowind

idk i just kinda like the idea of fur wearing, axe wielding, braids in his hair nerevar. in a lot of ways he'd be different and in others he'd be the same. definitely still hot tho (imagine voryn getting a look at him and immediately dropping everything in his hands to stare LMAO)

this also works for moon and star for uhhhhh reasons. i can explain how this would end up happening if you ask ha ha i dont want this post to be even longer explaining a lil sketch

3 ships: Hmmmm ok I gotta list Taylor x Lisa, their dynamic makes me go absolutely feral without fail. Honestly I don't even need them as a ship I just love how horrible and amazing they are for each other. I am limiting myself to one Worm ship here, despite how much it pains me, but I shall provide brief descriptions for the other ships for the people who don't know the non-worm stuff here. Marina x Pearl from Splatoon are so damn cute and I adore them. Nepotism baby punk soundcloud rapper x runaway genius former child soldier military engineer is honestly just 10/10, and they're just so good! I swear to god if the DLC doesn't have a 20 minute cutscene of lesbian cephalopod kissing I'll riot. Splatoon is my biggest fandom besides Worm which is kind of hilarious to me considering the sharp difference in tone. Third ship... hmmm, The Doctor x River Song. I just think it's genuinely such a sweet concept and wonderfully executed, two time travelers who are in love but keep meeting each other in the wrong order so their experiences and knowledge of the other don't match up is tragic and great and I nearly cried at their final episode. Honestly just been a River Song fan forever too, she's eternally my transition goals.

First ever ship: Ohhhhh gosh this one is lame. Back when I was a wee lass in middle school browsing FF.net endlessly, my main fandoms were Pokemon and Super Smash Bros. I flat out didn't realize that you could ship anything except a man and a woman because like, no one told me, and I kinda was just not a fan of romance because I thought it was always forced in stories (I was right about that tho). But then I read a Smash Bros fanfic that had Lucina and Palutena shipped and I was just like... damn, women can kiss? That sounds so cool. Shame I can never do that. And so I read the shockingly large number of fics shipping those two because it was the only wlw ship I knew existed.

Last song: I don't actually listen to music that much. Last song is uhhh... the Monster Sanctuary PVP Theme I guess due to playing Monster Sanctuary PVP. If we're talking actual music, I think my sister forced me to listen to some Taylor Swift song recently? Idk what it was but I think the album was called 1984.

Last movie: I also don't watch movies much! Uhhhhhhhhh I think it was Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No. Might have been a different one? The Sharknado movie that ends with them crashing down to Earth inside of a shark after fighting them off from a satellite and one of the characters gives birth while coming down inside the shark and the baby cuts its way out with a chainsaw before the mom gets crushed by falling debris. Sorry for spoiling, I know everyone was really looking forward to watching Sharknado 3.

Currently reading: Making my way through the Snapshots series of Splatoon fics which are so fucking good. For published stories though, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight for a class. Thinking about rereading Worm and posting about it but I gotta beat the Lakesbian copy allegations.

Currently watching: I'm don't really watch anything when I'm on my own, I prefer to read in almost all situations. When I go home though, I watch One Piece with my sister because it is nice to spend time with her and she's very passionate about the show.

Currently consuming: Nerds Gummy Clusters. I regret every bite but I bought this shitty bag of candy so I gotta finish it. Fuck these are terrible.

Currently craving: Mini Chewy Sweettarts. favorite thing about them: man, of everyone who's made an appearance on my favs list, he is absolutely the most mysterious, both because he is mysterious but also because he would rarely do an interview in a language i can understand (tyoma is monolingual but somehow very understandable anyway 😂). šime speaks spanish and english but would only really do interviews in croatian or italian i feel like. so i feel like i know so little about him! but of course: he has the absolute most beautiful footballer tattoos (that BUTTERFLY!!!), fantastic taste in music, and his sense of style--a little more alternative/edgy than other footballers. he's clearly a guy who did his own thing without seeking a lot of external validation, and it was fascinating how he comes across as very mysterious but very steady at once. he's also very uniquely beautiful--there is that "you can tell a lot about a person based on whether they think šime or dejan is hotter" concept 😂 and the whole tungelr knows where i stand on this, but, damn if šime's slutty pirate/širen self isn't captivating to stare at. i miss him SO much and think constantly about how he essentially gave his whole career to the 2018 world cup without realizing.

something else is how humble and normal he always came across. of course you can only know about these people what they put on social media, but back when he was active on there, he was never vacationing to dubai or ibiza or on some yacht--he'd go home to Zadar and repair old cars with a grungy tshirt tied around his head.

least favorite thing about them: that he knocked up some Instagram Hot Lady and got together with her! and disappeared off social media and is made of literal glass! promise i'm not showing favoritism--i don't think šejan had a dramatic and bad breakup, but i think science kind of proves that the breakup was driven by šime bc dej is persistent as fuck and clearly a very devoted long distance boyfriend 😂

favorite line: omg i can't remember the exact translation of it, but it was during the wc when he was like "you film me doing everything, you'd probably film me taking a piss" and dej was like "THAT'S RIGHT!!!" i mean, the šejan lajvs had a ton of classics that i could go back and find, but i'm contractually obligated to say that one

Books:

The Farthest Shore by Ursula K. Le Guin ; Nothing I say about this book (this series!) can do it justice honestly everyone on the Earth should read Earthsea. like really really read it patiently and intensely and with a savor because you will never encounter reality so closely and clearly ever again. everything about it is real to me but this book particularly struck me just because. well. lebannen. a force undeniable. I didn't know I was capable of loving so deeply and profoundly until I knew him. he is the best. I love you Lebannen 💥💥💥 I love everything about these books honestly. immense grace aside that shit also inspired perhaps the most intense and creatively demanding period of my life & broke down a lot of the mental partitions that I had constructed around what my hands are capable of. And I am still really bobbing through the wake of even now. Hopefully more marvelous things to come. There is much more strength to be drawn from this place yet if I can stomach it. sighs.

Death with Interruptions by José Saramago ; My words are failing me here but like. Saramago's voice and style have become real fixtures for me. I need to read a Saramago at least once every few months or my life loses its musicality. This is where I started with him so it gets to be on the list but Cain is also a great one for many many many more reasons that would be toooo much talking. for me to post.

I feel like by law I have to put Plato's Republic here which like. honestly not the most philosophically valuable work or even my drug of choice these days but was a thirteen year old's first inquest into the field that would become his only scholastic passion. so ! (He didn't even know he would have to read it seven times during his undergrad 😭) but if we want another novel to put here maybe We Need to Talk about Kevin by Lionel Shriver (mostly because of one sequence but also Shriver's great at writing in the voice of wry & cerebral women whose sentimentality is kind of shielded by their overt insight it gives them real internal lushness).

Honorable mention also to Isaac Asimov's I, Robot and subsequent novels of Asimov's future chronology which are currently fucking me up beyond measure. My recommendation here is read I, Robot (Or The Complete Robot!) and maaaybe Caves of Steel (tightly written marvel with only forgivable weaknesses of unprobed psychologies) and then stop. Just don't keep going okay. I've also had um Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore still swimming around in my mind despite having finished it a good while ago.

Movies:

Uhhh I don't w.atch. errr. Movies I can think of that I've watched just at all of my own volition: Raw (2016). good experience but didn't move me hugely taboo-pushing which is awesome conceptually but not in the right ways for me idk. not a bad movie at all though definitely some kind of stupid elements at play as well.

Mr. Kim does that flying/Superman/feet thing with Baby Namjoon, who is cackling in the air as Toddler Jin plays with blocks nearby.

Mr. Kim: (slowly lowering Baby Namjoon) Ah, I'm sorry Namjoonie, I'm getting a little tired. Let's take a break.

Baby Namjoon: (pouting) Appa and Eomma paytime!

Mr. Kim: Eomma can't do playtime right now. She's making your snacks!

Baby Namjoon: (whining) Joonie Supaman now! Appa and Eomma Supaman night night, Joonie NOW!

Mr. Kim: I mean, I guess we can do Superman more before bed, but---

Toddler Jin: (still playing with blocks) No, Appa! Joonie says he wants to play now because you and Eomma play Superman at night! She sits like this! (he mimics Mrs. Kim straddling Mr. Kim) "Yes! Yes, yes, yes!"

Mr. Kim: (mortified) I see. Uhhhhhhhhh, let's go check on those snacks.

He brings the boys back to the kitchen.

Mrs. Kim: (sing-song) Are my big, beautiful boys hungry?

Namjoon and Jin cheer, and Mr. and Mrs. Kim gets them settled in their high chairs, Namjoon in Mr. Kim's hands, and Jin in Mrs. Kim's.

Mr. Kim: (leaning into Mrs. Kim, whispering) Hey, uh, so, I think we should be a little stricter about bedtime and, uh, bedroom locks, and, uh, sleeping in their own rooms.

Mrs. Kim: What? Why??

Mr. Kim: Let's just say that Jin's getting good at imitating you. (chews his lip) Too good.

Mrs. Kim: (((BIG MORTIFIED))) oh god is that why he was squealing "yes" a minute ago?

Mr. Kim: (looking down at both their sons, who are busy eating their cut-up fruit and veggies) Man, kids really are sponges.

PLEASE!! This was very, very sweet!! But um not to be a downer -- it also makes me think of my baby cousin (who is no longer a baby but that's how I'll always think of him) and how he was just, like, physically dense? Not fluffy or chonky, just very jam-packed into a heavy body. When I visited them one year, I went to go pick him up, and he was so excited to be held, but then his eyes narrowed, and he shook his head with a smile. He said (I'll never forget it): "Oh, no-no-no! Too hebby!" And then he kinda moved to something else to play with, giving me toys and changing the topic. At like two! I mean, I get that parents will shape certain behaviors and make certain calls on when it's time to stop picking kids up or just deal with the realities of having to carry their children, and yes, children get big and heavy and are dead weight when they're asleep lol. But idk, something about the way he just kind of knew the "carrying" part of his life was over? At TWO? Maybe I'm overdramatizing it but it was kind of a moment.

Baby Tae: Up!

Mr. Kim: (busy with work) I'm sorry, Tae-Tae, not right now, later.

Baby Tae getting teary-eyed. Sees his mom.

Baby Tae: Eomma! Up!

Mrs. Kim: Oh, sweetie, (bending down and stroking his hair) I'm a little tired, but I'll carry you in a second, OK?

Baby Tae, nearly crying, finds his brothers in Big Kid Jin's room.

Big Kid Jin: (exchanging looks with Namjoon) What's wrong, Tae-Tae?

Baby Tae: (weakly, outstretched arms) Up?

Big Kid Jin: OK.

He walks over to Baby Tae and lifts him up, but even though he's really not that far off the ground, Baby Tae snuggles into Big Kid Jin's hold and smiles.

Baby Tae: Hyung.

Big Kid Jin: Awwww!

Baby Tae wipes his face and snotty nose on Big Kid Jin's hoodie, while Little Kid Namjoon laughs.

Big Kid Jin: Aw.

i used to play basketball for 2 years with a huge break in it, first when i was in 4th grade but after a year i quit because of summer and my habit to go to basketball disappeared, then when i was 6th grade after moving into a new city renewed because i was shit at volleyball so the P.E teacher recommended me to go to basketball cuz like good at basketball = good at volleyball. Im done yapping now
