✿ Cove Holden headcanons !! ✿

(still in love with this little guy!! I decided to make a post specifically for headcanons for Cove cuz i have a lot!! I cry over this little ocean boy a lot, and thats ok. anyways, enjoy the hcs)

He doesn’t really like going to a barber or salon to get his hair cut. He think its kinda awkward and isn’t really fond of the idea of some stranger touching his hair.

So he probably cuts it himself or gets one of his parents to do it (tbh if he knows you know how to, he would probably trust you to cut his hair too)

His dad or his mom used to cut it until he just kinda started doing it on his own.

He probably started cutting it himself after he moved to sunset bird and was still a little upset with his dad

The two of you made each other friendship bracelets and wore them until you couldn’t anymore

Derek also got a friendship bracelet at some point when he became part of the friend group

His favourite ghibli movie is ponyo (for obvious reasons)

Likes both, but prefers dogs over cats a little more

He likes medium/bigger dogs a little more since they don’t bark as much as smaller dogs do, but he doesn’t hate small dogs or anything

But he is still a LITTLE intimidated by the little dogs that bark and growl a lot lmao.

Cove’s not super picky or big on music, and mainly just listens to what's on the radio or whatever someone else puts on, but I can see him liking the same types of music as his parents (i talked abt my hcs for cliff & kyra’s music tastes in my post abt them)

I feel like he would like softer music and lofi and stuff.

I can picture him listening to mxmtoon and khai dreams.

If he knows about the types of music that you like, he would try and listen to them too.

He also tries to learn more about your interests and stuff he can talk to you about them or at least have a better understanding of what you’re talking about

He’s actually pretty decent at singing, but he doesn’t really sing much.

He does like to quietly sing or hum to himself if he’s just doing stuff in his room tho

After the first time you two sleep in the same bed together, he starts hugging in his pillow in his sleep when ur not there (he may or may not sometimes imagine its you when he misses you)

If he’s not holding onto or grounded (is that the right word lmao?) by something, he’ll move and shift in his sleep a lot.

He doesn’t really talk in his sleep, but he sort of quietly, incoherently mumbles to himself.

You can’t really make out a full sentence, or proper words out of it most of the time, but occasionally you can make out something that sort of sounds like your name.

He likes stuff like diffusers and scented candles because he likes the smell. He doesn’t really go out of his way to buy and use them or anything since he doesn’t really know much about them, but he likes/appreciates it if you or other people do.

He isn't the biggest fan of the ones that smell overly sweet/strong tho.

On that note, he has a really good sense of smell. Like, he can pick up on things that literally nobody else can.

He likes to talk to his fish about things (he also loves to tell them about you)

Honestly he just loves talking about you in general

I think he likes it when you say his name (not in a weird way lol)

Like you’ll say his name if you’re just talking to him, and internally hes just like

“Yes !! That’s me !! :D”

I think he also wants/wanted you to be there when he gets his tattoo/piercings. For emotional support. (if you choose the cove that has either of those)

But yeah

Also if you were down for it he would also like the idea of getting matching tattoos

Probably something beach related or white poppies or something along those lines (tbh I kinda do wanna get a poppy tattoo irl one day lmao)

hi!! can i get a romantic studio ghibli matchup (like, out of all the movies u write for !!) anyway, i’m a 5’0 trans gay enby who uses they/he pronouns. i have long-ish black/red split dye hair, i’m very pale, and i have blue eyes. i’m also kinda chubby and i look very very tired almost always. i mostly dress causal & in pajamas, but when i feel like it, i just dress in an all black emo sorta outift? idk LOL

if this helps i’m an ISFP 4w5, gemini/cancer cusp. i’m a very very quiet and reserved person in public, especially around those my own age. i choose to not talk and i often just nod my head or shrug. i really only respond when need be! however, when you get to know me, i am absolutely chaotic. i love to make people laugh and will do anything to achieve that! i’m very physical and i love picking people up and play fighting with them (i love arm wrestling and thumb war LOL). i have a temper that’s hard to control in private, and i do get a little physical- but i don’t hurt anyone. i just throw around stuffed animals or pillows. in public i am more self-aware and it’s only visible through my movements, tone, and expressions that i’m angry. but i also feel guilty and very sad and i cannot be angry at someone for too long and i end up coming back to apologize (but sometimes i’m petty so if its their fault and what they did really hurt i won’t). enough about that though, abt my friends. i always try to fix their problems and give them advice and i sort out their issues and whatnot for them. im always there to listen and id consider myself a good listener, even tho sometimes i can lose hope and give up. i am mostly pessimistic and think things will go wrong abt get really nervous, but sometimes im very optimistic and cheer people on, esp my friends. i overthink a lot, bad or good things, which usually ends up in me spaced out, and i have a hard time pulling myself back into reality. i get embarrassed very easily. i stand up for what i believe in no matter what and i speak my mind for the most part. i have strong beliefs and opinions, im very skeptical of others at first, and i take a while to warm up to new people. but sometimes my anxiety overwhelms me too much. i also get scared very very easily. i also have BPD if that matters

i love love LOVE bugs, cats, knives, plushies, and rubber ducks. I collect the last three things !! they are my favorites in the world and i love going outside and collecting little bugs and ive always wanted a pet spider. i also adore dark/horror media things, and i love halloween. i love being scared and going into horror rides & ghost tours, theyre my fav ! cats r my fav animal and i want 50 of them when i get older. plushies comfort me a lot so do rubber ducks, so ig thats a bit childish, but thats okay :). i collect knives bc i think theyre cool and i like to show them off like theyre my babies (they are). i also love rollercoasters and theme parks, i luv adrenaline. i constantly have to tell ppl they wont die, even tho sometimes im scared myself. i love weezer, foo fighters, childish gambino, korn, and ghost. music is a very very big part of my personality LOL.

im not a big fan of pda but in private i LOVE PHYSICAL AFFECTION AND WORDS OF AFFIRMATION !! i love kisses and hugs and i will die without them. gift giving is my least fav method of affection, i feel too bad lol. i dont like being ignored and i get a lil jealous sometimes, so i need reassurance a lot. i prefer masculine people and someone who'd be patient w/ me.

PLATONIC MATCHUP: Will Solace

HOW YOU MET

I feel like you'd be long term friends with him, like you met in school or something.

Those kinds of friends that you were in a friendgroup you were in and you didn't actually become closer until like, the gay vibes won over or something I don't know.

But yeah you guys shared classes together when he lived in the Philippnes with his mom for a while.

Kept in touch from there on out, it was really inconcistent until you guys just clicked on a common interest.

I don't know what else to say, it was really just one of those people you met due to a common activity and then you found something else in common and bonded over that.

RELATIONSHIP HEADCANONS

Since you said you're clumsy, I imagine you fall or scrap your limbs of off things fiarly often, and Will tends to carry around bandaids anyway, so he's giving them to you often. (they're probably patterned plasters too, with Hello Kitty on them or something)

I feel like Will would quote the Bible at you for no particular reason. I think he's read it a couple times because he finds it interesting. You've probably looked at it a lot more indepth but atleast he knows what you're trying to say.

I feel like he has definitely watched some of the older animes like Sailor Moon or Dragon Ball Z. He also finds a lot of comfort in Studio Ghibli movies, though he's very busy and doesn't have much time to watch them now. Try and recommend some to him and he'll definitely try watch them with you!

If you are to do anything he'd jokingly say something along the lines of "Oh you would be the type, you Libra" despite knowing next to nothing about astrology. Probably the same with your Hogwarts House the difference is he knows something about them. He's a really jokingly sarcastic guy.

HANGING OUT

You're not alone on liking to talk about random issues because Will is right there with you!! You can definitely have a massive conversation about how boys are raised as creeps and it'll become a conversation about how people shipping two men together in media is linked closely to misogyny (idk bro i couldnt think of any other examples).

I feel like he'd really love video games, but specifically those spider-man ones, or even the lego star wars ones. If you don't really play those ones then you're gonna be getting into them fairly quickly.

Karaoke nights with a group of friends!! Will mightn't have gotten the gift of music as his main talent, but he isn't a half bad singer, if he actually takes himself seriously.

I feel like he's taken you to try his mother's baking before. I'm not sure why but I feel like his mom would have good baking skills. Sometimes he'll get a group of you guys to come have a picnic or something similar.

ROMANTIC MATCHUP: Charles Beckendorf

HOW YOU MET

He used to have a cat for a while, and that cat got pregnant. The litter was fairly big, having 7 kittens. Knowing he couldn't keep them all, he put up an add.

You were helping you friend search for a cat at the time and found the add.

Discussing it a lot, you all chose a public space to meet up and hand over the kittens.

So that was all well and good. You kept each other's numbers saved in your phones because you can never be to sure with kitten biology(I mean maybe the mother cat passed something down, I dunno my cats are too old).

He accidentally called you one time and you got to having a friendly chat instead so you kinda became friends from there on.

RELATIONSHIP HEADCANONS

He's such a sweetheart it isn't fair. If you ever get mean, he's really good at helping you calm down and apologising to whoever dared start you on the topic. It's sweet to watch actually.

He loves complimenting you!!! He tends to compliment things he knows your insecure about but he mostly compliments things you can change an improve on(if that makes sense). Like maybe your art or the way you did your hair one day.

Charles would love to just ask you about what you think of stuff. Maybe about a movie you both watched or a song that was newly released. He just likes to see you talk about your perspective.

If you ever zone out, he's patient with you. This is the brother of Leo Valdez and the other Hephestus kids, he knows to be patient when people go off like that.

HANGING OUT

He loves to make little trinkets with you!!! Pens, boxes, anything they might have the equipment to make.

Do skincare with him!! This man works a lot and tends to sweat(the workshop is hot) so his skin isn't always the best. Even if you just recommend brands to him he really appreciates it.

If you want to, he loves hearing about anything you've written, a basic summary will do, maybe over a meal or if you're both on a break or something.

If you get comfortable enough to dance with him, please teach him some moves. He has the same dance stlye as Zemo from that one episode in TFATWS. He's having fun but he could definitely have more fun with your help.

PLATONIC MATCHUP: Gamora

HOW YOU MET

To set the scene, your sitting in a cafe, you have your preferred order, just relaxing.

And a bunch of aliens start to pile in, lead by some overly confident seemingly human dude. I'm sure you can guess who they are.

Most of the first meeting is a blur, you talk to a racoon, don't understand what a tree is saying and that Drax guy tries to turn invisible. The only one that didn't have an excruciatingly obvious obliviousness to how Earth manners worked seemed to be the tall lady Gamora.

She struck up civil conversation as much as she could and you both hit it off very well.

Gamora offered her help if you ever needed protecting from one of the many many bad characters in the universe and sorta kept up to date from there.

RELATIONSHIP HEADCANONS

If you're ever talking about how mistresses in television or trashy soap operas, she's nodding along. She may need to take an old tv and a couple box sets on her travels but she can go off hard.

If you lend a book or anything of the sort to her, she always keeps it in prestine condition. She'll discuss it with you, she'll have notes. It'll be a whole thing.

I feel like Gamora picks up people's interests when she's friends with them, just so she can have something to relate on with them.

Ya'know how some people will find rocks and stuff and then give them to you? Yeah Gamora does that but on a really wide scale, like there will be eon old meteroites and she'll be like "hi, look what i found i want you to have it <3".

HANGING OUT

Resturaunts!! You both deserve to be treated to a meal made freshly for you every now and then, not to mention Gamora loves Earth's cuisine.

You do art together!! I think Gamora would find art very therapeutic, and she does need that relaxation every now and then.

Riding around space!! If you need inspiration or just need a really quiet place to be, Gamora is up to drive you up and away.

Karaoke. Like you, Gamora adores karaoke. Give her anything to sing and she'll have the most fun with it.

ROMANTIC MATCHUP: Loki Laufeyson

HOW YOU MET

He tried to murder you, no I'm joking that would be if you were American (I'm sorry this was such a bad joke).

ANYHOW, it was accidental really, you both met at a concert. Awkward dancing and singing along to lyrics, I've never been to a concert I'm so sorry.

Awkward conversation, along with awkward nods, it was a rough start.

But AFTER the concert wasn.t half bad. You got to talking a little more while waiting for your lifts/rides.

You both hit it off fairly well. I believe that with your multitude of interests really open up good conversation and Loki can easily keep up a mutual conversation with you!! Just nice casual talk.

RELATIONSHIP HEADCANONS

I firmly believe they adores sarcastic and passionate people, they're just Loki's type. Whenever you start going off about things they're there "mhm, mhm, oh yes definitely". If someone ever dares interrupt you than kaboom(idfk godly power nonsense, that person is going to be in a hospital).

Educate them about your cool things!!! Whether it's trivial or common knowledge, they think you just make things really easy to understand!!!

Loki is most definitely trying to get better at being comforting for you. We've seen the movies, the god doesn't know how to accept or give it, but they're trying! You'll find Loki picking up psychology books or looking at tips on youtube, something similar.

They're learning to cook because of you. They may be horribly bad at it at the start, and when they asked for help from one(1) person, who was Thor, and got no help they almost quit. Anyway they're a huge fan of Gordan Ramsey now after finding his cooking show.

HANGING OUT

You can both definitely just exist in each other's presence. Maybe you're both reading your books or your drawing and Loki is like, making coffee (maybe he'll need help with that, might not know how the coffee machine works) I don't know just domestic fluff.

I hope you like cats because Loki definitely acts like one. You'll catch them just walking around your local town/area and then they'll act like they didn't intend to meet you, and then follow you around (if you're not to tight for time).

Doing each other's make-up!! I'm not sure what kind of make-up you like to do, but I'd imagine that Loki likes to experiment with different things, maybe challenge themself like you give them a word and they have to make a look out of it (does that make sense?)

Definitely enjoys watching cartoons with you. Firmly believe Loki would be a huge Looney Tunes fan, not sure why. They find Daffy Duck hilarious. Nice slice of life stuff, cause they think humans are niche lil creatures with niche lil ideas.

For any Potter heads. Some things that bothered you about the Harry Potter films:

- Where is Charlie Weasley?

- Where is Peeves?

- Where are Neville’s parents?

- The green/blue/brown eye thing. (This is not against Radcliffe. Some special effects could have fixed this easily)

- HarrY DiD YOu PuT YoUR NaMe IN tHe GoBlET of FIRE?! 🔥

- In Sorcerers Stone, Why did you change the snake at the zoos breed??

- “Voldemort” versus “Voldemor”. The silent t.

- Hermione’s. Yule. Ball. Dress. Color. Blue. Not pink. She specifically changed the color.

- Fluffy. Hagrid’s adorable Cerberus was originally bought from a Greek man. Why change it to Irish? I like Ireland but it was a Greek man due to where Cerberus’s initially came from right???

- Harry’s first Weasley sweater color

- Why does Harry only see his parents in the Mirror of Eirsed? Where’s the rest of the family?

- The Underage magic rules aren’t well explained in the movies making the 3rd year summons even more bonkers sounding

- The Patil Twins Yule Ball Outfits. They could have been soooo beautiful. Like this is the Yule Ball! The Twins would have (in my opinion) much more elaborate traditional Indian styled dress robes?? Idk.

- Love Movie Hermione! But some moments take away from Ron. Like when Ron defended her in the Chamber of Secrets. Hermione didn’t know what the slur “Mudblood” meant in the books. Ron had to explain it.

- Dobby needed more screen time. Some stuff Dobby did went to Neville because so many Neville scenes were cut.

- Where’s all the secrecy from the books when communicating with Sirius- “Snuffles”? Something Harry’s godfather insisted on to keep him safe.

- Snape’s title of “The half-blood Prince” is not explained. Neither is it made clear that Severus was also abused horribly at home throughout his childhood. Also that like Harry Dumbledore did nothing to help Severus when he was a student. (Or maybe Tom Riddle when he grew up in an orphanage. I’m sensing a pattern)

- Dumbledore should have still spelled Harry during Dumbledore death scene. No way would Harry just stand there if given the choice.

- Ron was not quite as ‘dumb’ in the books and a lot of his funny moments were cut from the movie. Which makes his jealousy moments all the more unbecoming. He also comes off a bit more arrogant in the movies. (This is not against R Grint. Who is awesome) The movies gave Ron the short end of the stick.

- Weasley/Malfoy Fued. Who else wanted to see Arthur and Lucius have a fist fight in a bookstore? Exactly.

- Albus Dumbledore isn’t all Sunshine and Daisys. He does some really messed up stuff yet no one ever seems to question this.

- Remus was the last Marauder. Yet his and his wife, Tonk’s, deaths are barley acknowledged.

- Also Teddy. Harry’s Godson.

- Harry’s and Ginnys relationship is not built on. It’s just there. Ugh. Heck Movie Ginny isn’t that great. You don’t know much about her except: She’s the only girl in Ron’s family. She’s the youngest Weasley. She’s obsessed with Harry. She’s a good Quidditch player. She has a temper. She was possessed by Riddle’s Dairy when she was eleven. She’s obsessed with Harry.

- Draco is essentially Harry’s antithesis. Where is he in some critical scenes in the movies?

- Where’s the Luna love???? Harry’s pretty rude to her in some scenes.

- There is no S.P.E.W. And Hermione’s more ruthless side is gone.

- The guys hair in The Goblet of Fire. Get a hair cut. Please.

- Some of Molly’s less than Stellar Moments. (Ex. When she believed rumors about Hermione and so treated he coldly. How horrible she was to Fleur. Ect)

- Fleur. Fleur and Bill still get married but the objections to the wedding aren’t as presented in the movies. Not is Molly’s and Ginny’s extreme dislike of Fleur. Or when Arthur apologizes to Fleur. Or really any of Fleurs best moments. The whole courting process is skipped.

- House Elves. The House Elves of Hogwarts.

- Percy Weasley. The ‘betrayal’. The returned Weasley sweater. Him turning to protect his family and fight for Hogwarts at the last minute. All gone. Which involves being forgiven by the Weasley Twins not an hour before Fred dies.

- The connection of the Black sisters. Specifically Adromeda - mother of Tonks. Who is Sirius cousin. Who married Remus Lupin. Tonks and Remus the parents of Teddy.

- Dean Thomas is pretty much gone.

- Rita Skeeter. Illegal Animagus. Hermione kept her in a jar.

- The movies didn’t allow Radcliffe to be sassy and sarcastic enough. Harry Potter is one of the sassiest boys to ever walk through the halls of Hogwarts!

- Harry didn’t fix his wand in the last movie.

- The history explaining why Snape could never be comfortable around and trust Remus Lupin.

Song stuck in my head: The end credits to Legacy of the Wizard (which is SUCH a jam, thank you for enlightening me @jessicafish) Following and followers: 227 (goodness just looking at that number is stress-inducing) and...104?! When the HECK did you all get here??? I think just last summer I was happily floating about in the 50′s. Anyways, to anyone I have not said hello, hello! Hope you enjoy your stay, and I am sincerely sorry if you expected Quality Original Content, or even just regularly scheduled other people’s content. Sadly, neither of these things tend to happen here.

Amount I sleep: During the school year it’s usually anywhere between 30 minutes and 6 hours (DON’T EVEN START BUBBLES YOU HAVE NO RIGHT), usually landing in the 3/4 hour ranges if I’m smart about it, but now that I am on Unofficial Break, it’s usually at least around 6 hours (except today was 3 because Avatar is an excellent show and the weirdos in this house have regularly scheduled breakfast at 9-something every morning). Sadly my sleep schedule can only be forced to tolerate normalcy for so long before careening back in the other direction, so we’ll see if this is just a blip or if we’re back to normal mid-Atlantic Ocean hours!

Lucky number(s): I wouldn’t say these are necessarily favorite numbers, but I do like 2 and 9. But come to think of it, second attempts at Official Things do tend to go better for me than first attempts, so maybe there’s some merit there after all! Dream Job: Don’t think I’m really cut out for dreaming anymore, haha (unless you are a theoretical future employer in which case I am Extremely Full of Ambition and Passion). The bed-adjacent metaphor has been made, and not to brag, but I can sleep on pretty much any surface. Currently studying my Not Favorite aspect of STEM (was there ever a favorite or did I just like being good at things sometimes) and learning how to People™ properly (and also learning a gazillion convoluted drug names like what the heck dude, did you just fall asleep on your typewriter coming up with these), so I’ll take whatever place hires me and pays me enough not to depend on my parents for everything, I suppose. In an ideal world, that would entail a job where I could make friends, and even more importantly, a job where my shortcomings would not cause Massive and Irreparable Harm, but I don’t think this line of work really meshes with that last one, so I guess I’ll either have to get my shit together™ extremely soon or fake my death, adopt an alias, and flee to a completely new place with no ties whatsoever before trying to get another, less high stakes job.

(Though I guess, less cynically, I like helping people well enough? And stories are fun! Maybe there could’ve been something with that. Not that there still can’t be, mind, but there’s still a long way to go between Here and There)

Favourite Authors: Okay I have not read enough various books of enough various authors to be able to answer this, so I’m just gonna go with a few books instead. How my last relationship ended. I pulled some STUUUUUUUPID shit and never got to own up to it or hold the other person accountable for the harm they did to me. It was just overall horrible and never got any type of closure. Likely never will. But it be that way sometimes.

My grandfather died last week and i feel........ almost nothing bc I honestly really did not like the man. He was horrible to me growing up and horrible to my mother while my grandmother was sick and dying. But he did a number of good things too. But I feel guilty for not mourning him more.

Lupine: What does your name mean? Why is that your name?

I chose Sawyer bc when I was younger, I was very good at wriggling my way out of work and my mom and aunts would call me “Tom Sawyer”. I also just like Mark Twain and the name Sawyer in general. Feels good

Marigold: Where did you grow up? Tell us about it.

In the suberbs of atlanta in a nice house on the Chattahoochee river. I’m actually still living there while I finish school.

Morning Glory: What was your bedroom like growing up?

Rosey wall paper and gross maroon carpet until 7th grade, when we painted it all blue and put in blue carpet. It was, and is, very VERY blue. Im gunna be painting 2 walls different colors soon.

Mugworts: What was it like for you as a teenager? Did you enjoy your teenage years?

Miserable, tbh. A lot of shit happened when i was 16 that left me with a lot of trauma and issues that I didn’t really have the maturity or energy to deal with while in highschool on top of being queer and dealing with that. So it was a lot of fighting with parents, self loathing, and struggling in school. It had its beautiful wonderful moments that I love with all my heart, but for the most part it was just kinda rough.

Norwegian Angelica: Tell us about your mom.

Georgia born and raised. She tries her best and is a wonderful mother, but we clashed a lot growing up bc she’s fairly neurotic and likes everything to be precise and orderly and perfect and im... ADHD so sometimes close enough is all you’re going to get. Growing up, i couldn’t communicate what was going on with me or happening in my head very well at all, and it caused a lot of tension.

Onions: Tell about your dad.

Hes from Bogota colombia and im almost a carbon copy of him. That means our issues with ADHD have a happen of blowing up at eachother. He’s horrible and constructive communication, but overall is sweet and funny and very very clever. My relationships with both of them are p okay nowadays with a few spats here and there that I will deal with when I don’t live with them anymore.

Orchid: Tell about your grandparents.

I never met my paternal grandparents. My maternal grandfather died when I was 6 and i hardly remember him.

My maternal step grandfather was.... not a good man but he was interesting and incredibly smart and fairly liberal. So there was that at least. But, to be honest, I hated the guy.

My maternal grandmother was one of my favorite humans in the world. She spent her whole life a highschool science teacher. She was funny, witty, elegant, a fairly talented cook who always encouraged me in everything I tried. Im still dealing with some emotional stuff regarding her passing, but Im just always so glad i got to spend as much time with her as I did.

Pansy: What was your most memorable birthday? What made it be so memorable?

haha shit. Maybe my 21? A bunch of friends and i went and hung out at a park then got hammered at my house after.

I’ve made my fortune and when I say things people listen, but I can also run away to my beautiful little homestead with my queer friends and wife and all our animals and children living together in a wonder queer commune. I get to travel twice a year and i never have to worry about money.

What do you think Keith’s favorite little things in life are?

oooh this was really fun to answer but once again I went off on a super long tangent, OOPS SORRY HAHA. Also not proofread so… be warned lmao. Under the cut:

- Nature!!! Keith is a nature boy and loves quiet, natural places. He probably feels really content in a natural settings, the kinda environments that have a stillness to them. Not silence- he hates silence- but quiet; birdsong and crickets and the wind, the sounds of wildlife etc. etc.

He likes sunsets and sunrises, likes the sound of rain and storms (even if being stuck indoors when there’s things to be done can be pretty frustrating), likes watching birds and other animals he finds doing their own thing. He can probably identify a lot of different bird species, might even have at least a vague idea about what their different calls sound like.

But there’s also the more adventurous and boyish side to Keith that would really love exploring those kinds of natural places. Hiking for sure, but also maybe stuff that’s a bit more daring, too. He has a healthy respect for nature, and has decent survival skills, so maybe he’d be a bit of a thrill seeker.

dsfjk sorry for getting a bit sidetracked but here’s a story: I had a couple of friends come down to visit me last week, and at the end of the day while we were heading home, we took a detour to look at Hopkins Falls, a waterfall close to my town.

I looked at a dry part of the cliff face that had a lot of rocky parts jutting out and said as a passing remark to my friend Matt something like, “hey, wouldn’t it be badass if someone could just straight up and climbed that wall?”

APPARENTLY he took that as a challenge because the next thing I know he was giving me a fuckING heart attack and climbed a cliff face about 5 times his height in like, 20 seconds flat. Then, realised that he couldn’t get back to the lookout path from where he was and had to climb back down, and the whole time I couldn’t help but be horribly aware of the VERY UNSAFE ROCKS AND POTENTIALLY DEEP WATER below him.

Yeah. That’s Keith. He’d scale a cliff with no safety gear just because he KNOWS he can pull it off, and he’s curious about what’s at the top, okay?

So yeah, Keith likes nature and he likes birds and he likes exploring!!

- He also seems to genuinely like training? There’s been a couple moments in canon where we’ve seen him training by himself in his downtime. Having a task set out in front of him that he can work through to reach a goal is just how Keith likes to operate; I imagine he finds a lot of satisfaction in learning new moves and knife tricks, and at being able to pull off the things he’s been practicing in battle.

Burning physical energy like that probably helps him think clearly too, so maybe he also uses training as a way to help clear his head. Keith’s very action-driven, doesn’t like staying idle for too long or sitting still when he could be doing something, so training and practicing with his Blade are good outlets for that.

- Movies!! I imagine that Keith loves goofy action movies, especially the classics. I’ve noticed that it’s a pretty popular headcanon that Keith is a bit oblivious when it comes to pop-culture, and I also personally like the idea that he just… doesn’t really keep up-to-date with more recent stuff if it doesn’t interest him. Lance might make an Avengers reference or something and Keith’s just “??? don’t get it, don’t care”.

But he’s surprisingly knowledgeable about the old classics like….. idfk, Die Hard for example (I myself am very ignorant about action movies and a lot of pop-culture in general LOL)

OH, and old Sci-Fi. He doesn’t like, watch it religiously or w/ever and has only caught a few scattered episodes, but he’s seen some classic Who before and was pretty into it. When he gets back to Earth he wants to hunt the old series down and watch it from the start. He thinks the dated effects are charming and after his time in space, the old Doctors remind him a LITTLE bit of Coran, haha.

I don’t see him being much of a Disney fan at first, because he hears about all these animated films about princesses and true love and just kinda says “pass”. He just wouldn’t be interested? But uuh there was a hc that came up when @ravensimaginaryfriends and I were talking abt Kallurance stuff a while ago where Lance introduces Keith and Allura to Disney and they end up having a whole bunch of Disney marathons and it was a VERY good convo.

Keith becomes surprisingly fond of Disney movies! Not so much the older Princess-y ones but even those he doesn’t hate. They’re simple and not showboat-y and can be kinda fun to watch with friends. But he loves the friendship/family-oriented ones like Lilo and Stitch and Fox and the Hound (because let’s be real those are the BEST ones anyway).

I also have a hc that Keith is a big fan of Miyazaki. His favourite Ghibli film is Howl’s Moving Castle, because that’s my favourite and I’m always right. (NO lmao he probably likes, uuuh… idk Mononoke, bc it has more badass fighting and cool nature-y vibes. Or Spirited away, because the dragon is cool.)

Other lil things:

- Reading!! He has to be in the right mindset for it, and he doesn’t really have time for it at all up in space, but back on Earth Keith really enjoyed reading. Even if was just perusing through old books on constellations or hoverbike magazines or whatever. He finds it relaxing, when there’s nothing else he’s pressed to be doing.

- Keith is a carnivore and he loves meat lol. He isn’t a picky eater (living in the desert like he was, and up in space with limited resources like he is now, he can’t really afford to be a picky anything.) But uuuh if you gave him the choice he’d choose a steak over a plate of veggies any day. He loves gravy on everything. Also, would probably kill for some greasy take-away food? It’s a very simple pleasure but he loves Maccas. (if he ever went to McDonalds during his time living alone then he’d buy like, 3 Happy Meals for himself, because he can be a big eater and 1 isn’t enough for him but uuh sometimes the toys are cool LOL)

- He likes classic rock music, and classic pop, as well as some occasional bluesy or jazzy stuff. He didn’t really own a phone or Ipod or whatever, and would just listen to the radio back in his shack, but he’d always have it tuned to the same station that played the classics. Eagles, The Moody Blues, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, etc etc. Doesn’t really have a favourite artist, just really likes the energy of music, and enjoys anything with a good beat or solid melody. Has a secret love for the Bee Gees.

1.- If you could date one anime characters who would it be?

These type of questions always make me think that i love things differently from other people... or something? lol because i never get a crush on the characters i like... i know this isn’t mean to be a serious question and all that, you know but kahjdkhasjdg i won’t date anyone lmao i prefer being by myself even if it gets a bit lonely sometimes

Definitely dragon ball, i have many many memories from it from my childhood, my mom still doesn’t like it haha my brother on the other hand loves snk and levi is his favorite, he also watches some other animes from time to time

Fictional character, i have been there and loved real people (as in idols etc) and it’s draining and tiring and not something i would like to do ever again lol

Writing a book, i have had this dream since i was a child and i actually wrote a so called book when i was like 13 haha but it’s a mess so i have it hidden somewhere in my room, i also used to get praises here and there when i wrote poems, etc for school. Tbh idk if i will ever be able to accomplish it because the career i’m majoring in, in college has nothing to do with this type of thing so yeah but maybe some day as for now i still write fics in my free time

relife... i have no idea if you have watched it but i am one of those adults (ugh yeah i’m an adult lol) who feels like their life isn’t going in the direction they want it to go and i really love the idea that the author of this manga (which was adapted into the anime last year) offers, it deals with important topics such as: depression, suicide, being unemployed/not being successful at the expected age by society... the consequences it has in your life and stuff like that? i just think i would like to live inside that universe because the characters are really really kind towards each other and they help each other out and there’s the particular relationship between the protagonist named Arata and Yoake which is the person who helps Arata to ‘relife’ his life haha (spoilers maybe if you end up deciding to look this one up) anyway this relationship esp is my favorite, i just LOVE how they support each other

22.- How would you like Snk to end: everyone dies, a bitter sweet ending, a happy one or an open ending?

Victoria you sure love making these kind of painful questions lol jk but i haven’t really thought about it, being realistic there’s no way there’s gonna be a happy ending at least not a “wholesome” one i think? I would really hate it if everyone died at the end though... at least one of these persons who sacrificed their lives has to live to see a new beginning, or new something start... i don’t care who although my bias would love for it to be eren and all the kids (and the vets) but just someone, you know? As for an open ending it depends... like what if it ends right before eren is about to die... or on some really ambiguous scene? tbh i would like to feel satisfied with the ending more than anything else be it a happy/sad or open one just something that ties everything up nicely... that’s my humble opinion

That's exactly what I'm talking about! I mean I know newer edition but Heroes III was the one. Hard to not love it when u spent half of your childhood with this game and second one with the sims lmao. Ohhh that's understandable, watching streamers often looks like that. I don't play Overwatch but some of my friends do and seeing this screen... I have no idea what's going on and I'm pretty good at keeping focus, sigh.

Blue Totoro didn’t look so bad so I guess it was fine! Ohhhh I’m curious now. My skills end on drawing and baking tho… And yes I did watch Laputa and I really like it (didn’t expect anything other from ghibli lmao). About that show tho! It’ll be called Wandavision I’m sure u can google it. It was announced ~2 weeks ago with Marvel’s 4th phase, so 100% confirmed. Colour of Magic is really fun, so! You definitely won’t regret it.

And h5 on that, I wasn’t able to focus on books for last year? I was too busy with everything else, uni especially. 40C god… It’s around 35C here this summer and I’m ready to cry I truly hate this weather from the bottom of my heart.I was actualy thinking about putting my sign’s flower! Right! Sometimes the older versions are just better. I often feel like new version are either overcomplicated or oversimplified, sometimes one of the old versions just has that perfect balance and it’s sad when they fail to replicate that in a newer version. Like, Sims 3 went overcomplicated and AoE III went oversimplified. Still, it’s good they’re trying out new things so they can improve in the next version?

Yeahh Overwatch is a FPS too and those are just terrible to watch lmao. That and battle royale games. Simpler games can be fun to watch, but usually I’m too impatient. I prefer to play the games myself.

I used to sketch a lot with pencil and I love working with ink too but I haven’t done that in ages rip.

1: Are you named after someone? I don’t think so? There’s a Tobias in the bible (and my parents are christians) so it could be that, but my full name is just Toby so I doubt it.

2: When was the last time you cried? Probably quite recently, but my memory is so shockingly bad that I can’t remember what I got up to yesterday. (If in doubt I probably cried listening to one of my ghibli playlists, they carry a lot of nostalgia for me)

3: Do you like your handwriting? Idk really, I don’t like or dislike it for the most part. When I’m taking my time to write I enjoy how it looks but normally only I can decipher it

4: What is your favourite lunch meat? If the sandwich is toasted/grilled/etc then probably salami bc it goes so well with melted cheese

5: Do you have kids? Not that I’m aware of!

6: If you were another person, would you be friends with you? I’d like to say yes, but my brain is getting so confused trying to picture myself as someone with a completely different personality/likes/wants etc that I can’t say at all. I guess I have some good traits? who knows
